The Calanque du Mugel is part of the Calanques National Park which extends from Marseille to La Ciotat. The park was created in 1987 and is classified as a “Remarkable Garden”. 17 hectares where you can observe varied vegetation: bamboo groves, tropical plants, cacti, cork oaks, aromatic plants...

Part of it is laid out as gardens with paths, fountains, lawn benches, play and picnic areas.

Then a much wilder part with a path that leads you to the Bec de l'Aigle massif. You can go up to the belvedere where you will have a breathtaking view.

Mugel Park is open from April 1 to September 30. It may be closed during the day if the fire risk is high. Outside the park, a small path takes you to two beaches - the beach of Petit and Grand Mugel and continuing to Anse du Sec.

Where to park: Chemin de la Calanque du Mugel, La Ciotat A car park is located 200m from the first Mugel beach.
