The plo, horse farm, a moment rich in discovery

Discover the Corbières and the Cathar Country on horseback for an immersion in the heart of nature. Farm created in 1966 by Michel Niemans. He developed equestrian tourism with his partner Dominique in the 90s. Their daughter Alizée took over the center and will be able to help you discover the region through beautiful horseback riding.

The Val de Dagne is rich in landscapes and stories, you can take full advantage of the vineyard visits and tastings. Located between Carcassonne and Narbonne, the equestrian farm Le Plo welcomes you all year round to help you discover their passion and the Cathar country on horseback. Le Plo offers different walks, from 1 hour walk, to half a day, to a 2 to 6 day excursion, you will have the choice according to your desires. Oenological tastings, with circuits adapted to all levels.

It is recommended to be comfortable at all three gaits before considering horseback riding. The time in the saddle varies from 4 to 6 hours per day for hikes of one day. The hikes are both in the middle mountains and down to the sea. Possibility to discover in one day the Pont de Boysede, the Val de Dagne or even Norte Dame du Carla.

Thereafter in several days, from 2 to 6 days, discover routes around Lagrasse, in Cathar country, the Orbieu valley, Milobre de Bouisse, from Lagrasse to the sea, from the Abbey of Rieunette to the Château de Termes, 5 days in the direction of Bugarach or finally 6 days / 5 nights to tour the Corbières.
