A few words about...

Fayence:

Fayence

Fayence is a village built around the 13th century around its seigniorial castle. Very nice panoramic view from the bottom of the Clock Tower on the mountains and its surroundings. Don't miss the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, the 3rd largest church in the Var, the Mitan bread oven built in 1522 and the Saracen gate that closed the entrance to the village in the 13th century.

The Fayence-Tourrettes gliding center is known to all enthusiasts. It also welcomes beginners for a baptism.

The village dates from the 16th century and is located at the gates of the forest of the country of Fayence. Within the village, see the 4 chapels located at the 4 cardinal points, the 17th century Saint Antonin church and the Siagnole fountain.

Recommended walk to the Oppidum of the Fortress, a prehistoric vestige.

Pretty walks along the ridges which offer a breathtaking view to the sea.

The Gorges du Blavet are a nice place for walkers but also climbing enthusiasts with its flanks up to 80m high.

At the foot of the cliffs, the Muéron cave is worth visiting.
