We had a wonderful stay here. We were warmly welcomed, immediately shown around the property and given excellent recommendations for visiting the area. The swimming pool is superb, well maintained, clean and equipped with sufficient sun loungers and umbrellas. There are also other relaxation areas on the property, such as a hammock, a lounge area with a sofa and a boules area. Parking spaces are available directly at the property. Excellent rooms like the rest of the property's amenities. We can recommend her without hesitation.
The family and I had a lovely stay at your house, Les Rocans. Your house, Les Rocans, has obviously been the subject of careful and loving restoration in many parts and it was lovely to stay there. The location is stunning, one could not tire of the views from the hillside. During our stay the weather was blistering hot sun and maximum temperatures around 36-38 degrees C. However, the breeze coming up the hill tempered the heat to make it quite tolerable. The trees you have carefully left near the swimming pool gave really good shade; it was my favourite lounging place. The swimming pool was so enjoyable, especially in the heat. Water temperature was the same as the heated pool in our local Virgin Active gym complex, occasionally higher, so our 4 year old grandson spent large amounts of time in the pool. Again, a lot of thought has clearly been given to the siting of the pool. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding countryside. Our regret is we didn't get out as much as anticipated as the heat was a little too much away from Les Rocans. The few trips we did make showed how picturesque that part of France remains, especially around Sablet / Seguret / Vaison. Definitely we shall explore more next time, perhaps at a quieter time of year. Kevin, thank you for providing a place which gave us all much enjoyment for our weeks stay. The whole family wished they could have stayed longer. We did our best to cherish your house as you so obviously do.
We have had aan amazing 2 weeks here. Honestly this house is gorgeous. The sunsets here are like no others. Would recommend visiting local wine producers, cycling through the vineyards and generally exploring the local area. We also visited a bunch of markets up in the mountains and went to watch the Bastille day fireworks. Would love to come back soon!

Firstly, let me sing praises to you both for your amazing hospitality during our recent stay. You both had such professionalism with genuine warmth which is hard come by these days! From recommending hidden gems in the area to ensuring we had everything we needed, you went above and beyond to make our holiday unforgettable. As for the facilities, they were nothing short of superb. The house was absolutely beautiful. The meticulously maintained grounds provided a serene backdrop for relaxation, with open space for the kids to play and the adults to unwind. It felt like a home away from home the moment we stepped inside. Every room was thoughtfully curated, offering a haven of tranquility after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. Our holiday destination was nothing short of extraordinary. From the impeccable hospitality to the exceptional facilities and stunning ambiance, every aspect exceeded our expectations. If you like the charm of the old, you will be won over. We particularly appreciated the layout of the house and the exterior. The fact that the swimming pool is in the low garden creates both security but also that the house remains very calm when there is commotion at the swimming pool! We played the most memorable games of ping pong in the shade of the majestic cypress trees and the children spent hours illuminating the castle, the immediate proximity of which is magical.
We had a great stay at Maison du Gua over Easter. The weather was a real surprise (I had packed wellies and jumpers) but it was lovely. Sunny and warm enough for us all to enjoy the great swimming pool and lunch outside everyday. There were three generations staying (10 people) and we all had plenty of room to relax. Our three children (1, 3, 6) enjoyed the huge selection of quality toys, both indoors and provided for the garden. The baby loved the baby swing and his mum enjoyed the huge list of baby extras Mel provided, that made packing so much easier. Mel and Jim are very helpful and quick to respond with anything you need. Our thanks to to the lovely Elodie for making our stay so pleasant.
I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and my family for a lovely stay at your property. We arrived to an immaculate house with all the amenities we could have required. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time exploring the nearby sites but also spending time relaxing (as much as you can relax with 3 children) around the house. Full credit goes to the owners who are obviously very proud of their accommodation and did an excellent job of making us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this property to other visitors and hope to return again soon.
I just wanted to say what a great time we had on our recent visit to Maison Des Communes, Philippe and Federica were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The house in a tranquil location was perfect for a very relaxing get away from it all.
We have loved our stay here! Fantastic weather, relaxing days and memorable meals by the pool! Our boys enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool! After 8 weeks away it was great to have space - we would love to visit again someday!

We have just returned from a wonderful ten day stay at Château des Grillauds with our three children (aged 8, 7 and 5). The château and grounds are absolutely beautiful and perfect for a peaceful (except for the children) break. The children loved and lived in, the swimming pool all day and fell asleep each night watching movies in the upstairs lounge, while the adults enjoyed the elegant charm of the house and (a few bottles of) the local produce. I almost didn't write a review because I wanted to keep this gem of a house a secret, but we could not recommend it highly enough. Special thanks are due to next door neighbours who welcomed us and could not have been more helpful or better company during our stay; including taking us to Le Pizou for the local Tuesday evening fiesta (wrong word I'm sure). In summary, a magical ten days - can't wait to come back.
We've had a fantastic holiday in this superb villa. We had great weather, food and wine! The villa is a really good base for visiting the Languedoc, Occitanie - we went to Carcassonne, Sète, Montpeyroux, Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert amongst other places and all within a short drive. The villa itself is really well equipped and has everything for a family holiday. 2 big supermarkets nearby and Pezanas is stocked full of restaurants and shops. The market on Saturday is amazing and well worth a visit. Thanks for a great holiday and we would thoroughly recommend the villa to others.
Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.
A hidden gem in France, a great place to slow down! The rolling hills, amazing pool and views to die for. Perfect.

Very beautiful property: authentic Provencal farmhouse. All the comforts in the house, very well equipped with very large space. Very pleasant shaded terrace. very well maintained garden. Large swimming pool ideal for swimming or games and very well sheltered from the Mistral.
Spacious, pretty and very well located house! We had a great week in your accommodation! Host attentive and available to answer questions. Accommodation next to the house (the atelier) is very good when two families stay, each has their own autonomy with their own personal space. We recommend this house without hesitation!

Château Charente is magnificent. The rooms are well proportioned with high ceilings so always feels cool. The is so much to explore in the grounds and great tuning trails. Great BBQ for outdoor al fresco dining. Huge table under a pergola for long leisurely lunches or dinners. The swimming pool is lovely and a great size for lengths with lots of loungers. Sharp, sharp knives. First time ever in a rental! Huge range cooker which is immaculate. Blenders, graters and simple to use bottle opener! The owners were fabulous! Our children are 9 and 12 and they loved playing the Wii in the playroom. Wish I had found the château when they were a baby and a toddler as tons of toys to occupy them with.10/10. 5 star throughout. Recommended.
A lovely week of relaxation, good company and everything to make a perfect holiday. Lovely setting, beautifully restored châteaux, clean and comfortable and fully equipped. Would love to return again in the future. Full marks to Simon and Nicholas for attention to detail and being very good hosts to our party!
Magnificent house, very well located which allows walks, coffee breaks and joie de vivre. We highly recommend.
