My holiday at Château Corbières in Nevian

Set in the traditional French village of Nevian set in the heart of the Languedoc vineyards is a 19th century château available for holiday rentals. Château Corbières is an air-conditioned château accommodating up to 14 people, featuring a 10m x 5m private heated pool.

A 45 minutes drive away is Carcassonne's Citadel, a world famous UNESCO World Heritage Site situated on the right side of the river Aude.

The castle offers its visitors many restaurants and a magnificent sight consisting of 3 kilometres of surrounding walls and 52 towers.

A 45 minute drive away, the Carcassonne Australian Park is a wild life park where haven of Australian kangaroos and wallabies live.

The Oulibo olive oil mill in Bize-Minervois

A 20 minutes drive away the Ouino Olive oil mill is an olive cooperative offering visitors guided tours, tasting and fine food to purchase. Founded in 1942 the mill is the only olive cooperative in the Aude. The olives are sources from the Aude, Hérault and Pyrénées Orientales departments.

Visit the Olive Tree Odyssey discovery centre and learn how the olive farmers work the olive trees and follow the oil press process through to the final producers shop.


Abbeye de Fontfroide

A 16 minutes drive away, Abbey de Fontfroide offers is visits an insight the lives of monks under the then rule of Saint Bendect in a Cistercian abbey.

The Sigean African Reserve

30 minutes away the Sigean African Reserve, situated between Narbonne and Perpignan is a spectacle of wildlife in the South of France. Home to 1000's of animals set over 350 hectares visitors can travel in a car on a 7.5km route which passes through 3 parks of the African bush home to Dwarf Buffalo, Impala, Zebra, Springbok, Ostriches, Giraffes. Continue your journey through The Tibetan bear and lion parks. The journey ends in the African Savannah where Rhinoceros, Sitatungas, Warthogs, Somali Donkeys room freely. A great day out for the whole family, both young and old.
