Coastal path, a breathtaking hike

Hiking the coastal path that connects Cap Béar to Paulilles beach is a great experience. The path is lined with Mediterranean vegetation, which takes you through wild and unspoiled landscapes. You will follow steep cliffs, pass through isolated coves, and discover secret beaches where you can swim, explore the seabed or relax.

The diversity of views is remarkable, offering different landscapes as you progress.

Secret coves

The most pleasant part of this hike is the wild and hidden coves. A real haven of peace. These small bays, nestled between the rocks, are inaccessible by car, which makes them all the more attractive for hikers looking for tranquility. These coves are ideal for a break, a picnic, or even a swim. The water is clear and very blue and refreshing, perfect for relaxing after a morning of walking.

Advice: Make sure you leave with plenty of water, suitable hiking shoes and sunscreen. In summer, the days are very hot, so we recommend that you leave early in the morning. There is very little space in the shade, don't forget your hat.

Cap Béar: A lighthouse in the heart of nature

Cap Béar is best known for its iconic lighthouse. Erected at the tip of the cape, it has guided ships for centuries, today providing visitors with a historic landmark amid spectacular surroundings. The lighthouse overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and its rugged cliffs, creating breathtaking views, especially at sunrise and sunset. The coastal path between Cap Béar and Paulilles is a magical place that will appeal to all nature lovers. Between spectacular views, secret coves and encounters with local wildlife, this hike is an adventure not to be missed. If you are looking for a place to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Côte Vermeille, this is where you need to come. Pack your backpack, lace up your hiking shoes and set off to discover this Mediterranean treasure.
