Tourism around the Massif des Corbières

Discover the villages of Corbières

Bizanet

The village is located on the road to Fontfroide Abbey, lined with vineyards and capitelles and is a village rich in heritage. In the heart of the village you will find period wash houses and fountains.

La Palme, medieval village and cultural treasures

Find this pond where salt water, fresh water, sun and wind make this setting a unique place. These salt marshes bear witness to an authentic art of living, located between Port-la-Nouvelle and Leucate, La Palme has very pretty wild beaches. Located between the hills of Bade and Serre, crossed by the Berre, the village of Portel-des-Corbières welcomes you for a peaceful stay. You will discover the variety of landscapes of the maritime Corbières that the Greeks, then the Romans, crisscrossed. You can discover the ruins of the Notre Dame des Oubiels chapel, as well as the underground visit to Terra Vinea which transports you through time. Château de Lastours offers cuisine paired with wine and wine from the estate at its gourmet restaurant “La Bergerie”.

Sigean, Corbières Maritimes

The essential stopover to discover the Corbières, with its hiking trails which crisscross a natural environment linking numerous panoramic sites: with the salt marshes, fishing hamlet. Sports enthusiasts will be able to fully enjoy aquatic activities such as catamaran, kayak, paddle, sailing. Don't miss discovering the ideal place for family and friends, the Sigean African Reserve created in 1974. With more than 3,500 animals on more than 300 hectares.

Ribaute, Hautes Corbières

Ribaute is a charming little village crossed by the Orbieu river, it is rich in diversity of vegetation, with low relief. This territory offers numerous habitats favorable to certain birds of community interest such as the Golden Eagle or the European Nightjar. Located a stone's throw from Lagrasse, Lagrasse is a lively and warm village and very popular with tourists. In addition, it is on the list of "the most beautiful villages in France".
