We didn't want to leave, the house and grounds are gorgeous and countryside and people lovely x.
Nous avons tous passé 2 semaines très agréables à La Montade, la villa était très bien équipée et le cadre est magnifique. Le temps était également superbe!
Absolutely stunning. We visited the house last summer and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is stunning with views over to Grasse and down toward Cannes. As a family of 5 (children 8, 5 and 12 months), it had everything we needed including a god sized pool and the interiors of the house are beautiful. It is a short drive to the local supermarket and amenities and only 20 minutes drive to the beaches of Cannes and Antibes. Nearby Mougins and Grasse provide an abundance of restaurants. A car is a must as the house is accessed up a steep road but views are spectacular. We can't wait to visit again this summer.
Perfect for family holidays. The kids loved the swimming pool. Our third year here and more wonderful memories cherished in our magical home.

Quel château incroyable dans une campagne magnifique. Trois générations de la famille P. - plus les amis - ont pleinement profité de leur semaine dans ce lieu paisible ! Merci beaucoup!
De belles vacances reposantes dans une belle propriété dans une région fantastique. La livraison du pain le matin était particulièrement bienvenue et le pain lui-même excellent ! Nous avons essayé toutes les recommandations de restaurants de M. Marty et n'avons pas été déçus. Le paysage fabuleux visible de tous les coins de la maison va particulièrement nous manquer !
L'endroit est absolument magnifique, les photos ne lui rendent pas suffisamment justice. Le terrain est spacieux, il y a un immense jardin avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin en termes de piscine, barbecue, aire de jeux, etc. Vous avez votre propre allée et un parking couvert.
Merci pour cette semaine merveilleuse. La maison est parfaite et nous avons adoré les différents endroits dans le jardin où s'asseoir et prendre un verre / admirer la belle vue. Nous avons été ravis de vous rencontrer tous les deux et merci de votre aide (et de nous avoir parlé du marché du vendredi à Ribérac!). Des vacances fantastiques - nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine!
Thank you for a wonderful stay. The house, gardens and pool house have been restored / designed beautifully and in sympathy with the local style and history. We had a fantastic time and will no doubt return in the future. Your hospitality was exceptional and made the holiday.
Nous avons passé un moment formidable, merci. Nous avons visité autant d'endroits que les enfants aient pu le tolérer et nous avons fait le musée Renoir sans rien casser !! Ils ont tous deux adoré la piscine et ont énormément progressé en natation. Notre plus jeune, Hal, est passé de 5 m en nageant provisoirement à 20 longueurs en toute confiance sans s'arrêter. Merci beaucoup de nous avoir fait partager votre belle maison!

Thank you so much for the very warm welcome, all the ‘goodies’ you provided and of course the use of your very well equipped Loft. It felt like we had always known you (perhaps because we’re all Northerners!). The Italian restaurant in the village is great to be able to walk to. A few degrees below 38 would have been preferable, but out of your control! Good luck with the house.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Vous avez transformé ce bâtiment en une maison des plus merveilleuses et, plus encore, en une maison accueillante et confortable, nous nous sentons privilégiés d'y avoir séjourné. Il ne nous manquait rien (sauf peut-être un peu plus de soleil et un peu moins de vent). Tous ceux qui nous y ont rejoint ont exprimé leur même appréciation. Merci beaucoup. Nous ferons passer le message et espérons vous revoir un jour.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour reposant à la Villa Funel dans le cadre d'un long tour de France. L'emplacement de la propriété était si tranquille avec un beau jardin et une piscine pour se détendre lorsque nous n'étions pas en visite. Le mobilier, les serviettes et la literie étaient de bonne qualité et il y avait absolument tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Carole et Jean Luc étaient très détendus, amicaux et serviables mais nous avons vraiment eu le sentiment d'avoir eu l'endroit pour nous seuls, sans âme en vue, ce qui était parfait. Nous espérons revenir un jour.
Magnifique maison, vue imprenable sur le clocher du village, piscine rafraîchissante à souhait. Chambres propices aux longues nuits et siestes réparatrices! Fabuleux.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour sous les mûriers platanes cet été. La maison est bien située près de la rivière Aude où nous avons passé une belle journée en kayak et à quelques minutes en vélo de plusieurs jolis villages et marchés. Merci pour ce beau séjour. Je recommande grandement.
The villa was larger than we thought and very private. It contains everything you could need, want and more.
Perfect. Our second visit and we hope it won’t be the last. Would give it six stars if we could. A beau cottage, tastefully decorated and well equipped. A beautiful pool and a peaceful setting near a village where you can eat well if you’re tired of cooking. Plenty to explore in the area. Best of all, a warm welcome from the owners.
Had a wonderful holiday with good friends as usual. Freat area with lots to see. Recommend the Moulin à papier for an interesting visit - beautiful area. Love the views from this villa. Thank you.

What a fantastic stay in a fantastic house, all the amenities you could wish for and more. We’ve enjoyed the pool, table tennis tournaments, playing pool and lounging under the fig trees. The market in Nyons on a Thursday was amazing, we visited St Paul trois châteaux, Seguret and many other places. The house exceeded our expectations and the Drome, Provence is beautiful , we will be back and thank you for creating such a haven for everyone to experience and enjoy.

At La Picholine, we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Close proximity to many delightful places of interest. Thank you, au revoir.
Qui aurait cru que vous pourriez nager tous les jours en avril ? Cette fabuleuse piscine était vraiment le point fort. L'appartement est bien équipé et d'une propreté impeccable. Le village se trouve à quelques pas et il y a une excellente épicerie ELeclerc à quelques minutes en voiture. (Vous aurez besoin d'une voiture si vous avez l'intention d'aller quelque part une fois arrivé. Procurez-vous une petite voiture non électrique.) Nous avons déjà réservé notre prochain séjour.
Alors que nous roulions vers le Nord, sur le chemin du retour, nous nous remémorions nos bons souvenirs de cette semaine passée. Votre belle maison, avec tant de caractère de confort a certainement fait toute la différence dans nos vacances. Nous l'avons tant appréciée que, j'en suis presque gêné de l'avouer, nous ne sommes sortis qu'une seule après-midi pour aller faire un tour au Lac Saint Cassien. Nous avons profité de tout... pétanque, les deux terrasses, barbecue, tennis de table, le magnifique patio extérieur, la piscine etc, etc... Les trois petits enfants de 2 ans et demi, 14 mois et 5 mois ont tous adoré! En fait, le petit de 1 an a fait ses premiers pas dans votre jardin! Ce fut des vacances très spéciales pour nous tous et nous voulions tout simplement vous dire un grand merci de nous avoir accueillis.
