A truly wonderful 2 weeks in this magnificent place. The drive, the views, the rooms - all very special in their own way. 2 weeks is not enough!
I just wanted to write to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Les Granels. The Villa was everything we hoped it would be and beautifully equipped and an added bonus was the wonderfully stocked playroom, which as we had 5 children under 7 was an absolute joy. I would like to say that Karri was an absolute gem, efficient, full of good humour, endlessly patient with our Grandchildren who loved her so much that they cried when she said goodbye to us. She really made the holiday and enabled our rather exhausted children (their parents) to have a much needed few hours off. We are really grateful to her. The other great joy was the meals that Carol and Andy cooked for us, just in case future guests want cooking done whilst they are there.

We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. We have stayed in some lovely properties in France, but this has to be the very best. We appreciated everything you both so generously provided to make our stay so very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. We enjoyed our visits to Carcassonne, Narbonne and Minerve, and our boat trip on the Canal du Midi from Capestang and our trip to the Abbeye de Fontfroide. We had a superb meal in Restaurant d'Alibert in Caunes Minervois. Thank you so much for everything. We have had such a lovely fortnight and will miss this haven of beauty, peace and comfort for quite sometime. We hope to visit again - it sure is tough to leave here.
Beautiful home. A lovely house with gardens, exceptionally peaceful and private. Lovely pool and all the facilities. Saint-Alvère also a lovely village.
This is the most wonderful place to have a family holiday; beautifully furnished, spotless, spacious and as peaceful as you could possibly hope a holiday to be. The pool is glorious, we spent hours playing table tennis, had wonderful meals on the big table outside and we watched the stars at night time. In the local area are vineyards, beautiful mediaeval towns and castles and lots of lovely food to be found in markets. It’s a perfect place for a happy holiday.
We had a lovely time in a beautifully converted villa. So much space for relaxing and the kids to roam free at the table tennis out building or down by the pool. We had a glorious family week - unbelievable calm and restful views over the vines, extensive grounds, with a good balance of shade and sun, a fabulous pool, a huge and cool interior with very well curated equipment (not just your usual IKEA) - all lovely in every way. Debbie was a perfect host: super discreet, but there with advice and troubleshooting whenever needed and above all, so thoughtful in ensuring that we could make the most of our time there through enjoying local sites, markets and produce (including walnuts and jams from the property), of which there are lots, within easy reach! We knew we were in for a great holiday as soon as we saw that a bottle of wine was awaiting us from the vines outside our window and we were right.
Dearest Madeline and Alan, thank you so much for yet another amazing stay with you at Camirout. It has been as wonderful as always. This time we visited Pujols – definitely worth a visit, such a cozy little town. We are looking forward to coming back in a year. Thank you and see you in 50 short weeks. Big hugs.
We had a wonderful time at Domaine des Volets. Great venue for a large group. Owner was very helpful and welcoming.
Beautiful château with all amenities. Ann was extremely helpful with organising taxis, wine tours and any concerns. Very efficient in organising a new barbecue. Thank you for helping us have a fantastic holiday.
We spent 10 days with 8 people (children, grandchildren ) and our dog in À Côté de L'O. The summer heat was well tolerated thanks to the pool and air conditioning. The space is even more generous than it appears on the photos. A huge fenced garden right on the Canal. Narbonne, Gruissan, Bages... many beautiful experiences are easy to reach by car. The location in beautiful Le Somail. The early morning round for dog bathing at the Cesse. Shopping fresh croissants and baguettes on the Épicerie - boat. All in all : perfect!
We have felt so welcome in your home and are so lucky to have found you and your family in France. We hope that we will be able to return another year.
Cannot say enough about how relaxing and wonderful was our holiday at Mas Saint Cernin: from the quality of the accommodation, to the fantastic location, the brilliant pool and the warm and helpful welcome from John and Lesley. Three generations spanning the under ten to the over seventies loved every moment of our stay. We all enjoyed the pool and the grounds with all the interesting things to see and do on the doorstep. We aim to return but think we might want to book early to do so!
Very sad to leave after a fantastic stay at Château du Pic de Rigaud. Fantastic location, amazing historic villages all close by. This is by far the cleanest property we have stayed in over the past 20 years visiting France - thanks to Henrietta and Peter. Pool was also the best we have had - only recommendation is a toilet closer to the pool!! We would love to return some day!
Exceptional. Château de la Ronde and its grounds have been beautifully renovated and maintained. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and every aspect has been considered to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The views across to Saumur Castle from the château were stunning.
This is the third time at Villa Kali and I can't think of any more superlatives. The villa ticks all the boxes and some. The beaches at Grau Agde and Portiragnes are well worth a visit as well as Valros with all its restaurants.
We had a great time and even got some good weather at the end of the week. Thanks very much for letting us stay - it's a very special place.

Just back at work after two weeks at Maison Tigre and wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us – we had a fantastic time. We have been staying in France and Italy over the last ten years – varying our choice between rural isolation (for space and privacy) and village houses (for the boulangeries and café s, etc.) and I have to say that your home provides the perfect combination in a part of France where there is so much to do and see. I also really like the house itself – the great care that has gone into the development, finishing and furnishings is evident (and I like the modernist / minimalist style you have employed). All in all a brilliant holiday.
We spent 2 weeks at Mas Saint-Cernin. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. John and Lesley provided excellent information before our arrival about the property, the local area and very clear travel directions. There was even a welcome basket of essentials for our breakfast on arrival. We had a fabulous time and hope to visit again.
We had a very good stay in this house and highly recommend it to other travellers for a weekend or more!
Very beautiful villa, tastefully renovated. We spent 3 very pleasant days there as a family. The big plus is having a shower room and WC for each bedroom. Ideal location to relax and walk along the Canal du Midi. We will gladly come back.
Swimming in the sun at La Barde we experienced a luxurious time in the perfect place to be reminded of the most important parts of life - family, nature and love. It's so obvious that every corner of this house was built and is maintained with love. A perfect getaway in the hills of Lusignac.
Very nice, clean and well equipped house. We had a great week (4 adults and 5 children). Magnificent swimming pool, a large and very pleasant games room. We recommend this house without hesitation.
Perfect! It has been sheer bliss to have spent the week in this wonderful chateau. Chateau Les Tourelles was the perfect setting to gather my twelve dearest friends to a celebration!
What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
