What a lovely time we had! Our two week stay could not have been better. As others have said, the location is a perfect mix of rural quiet and peace, while being close enough to an excellent bakery and convenient shop. If you are lucky enough to holiday there, don’t miss the wonderful restaurants nearby. Debbie is the most amazing host, always there when you need her and very discreet. Her thoughtful and knowledgeable suggestions added immeasurably to our enjoyment.
Just to say we have enjoyed a super week at La Fontaine; thank you for a very lovely and well appointed property in such a peaceful and beautiful area. Lots to do, see and eat - thanks for your recommendations.
What a gem! We have had such a lovely time we didn’t want to leave. Lots of pretty places to visit, although with temperartures at 42 degrees the pool was our saviour. Florence is a wonderful host, very friendly and always there if you need her, although not intrusive. Lovely drinks and a chat last night, many thanks. Au revoir! (Hopefully next year).
This is the second time we’ve holidayed with Oliver’s Travels, this time via Pure France and we’ve been just as impressed this time round! All dealings have been professionally and efficiently executed and we really can’t fault any area, in fact we’re full of praise
Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing two weeks. We have loved getting to know this part of France (and it’s wine!), playing boules in the garden and watching all the birds. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Cafe Occitane and the beaches at Leucate. Your attention to detail and the warm welcome made us feel immediately at home and we really appreciated the pool being kept so clean.
A fitting venue to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our four children, their husbands and wives and our grandchildren! Memories that will remain for years. Well provided for, comfortable and panoramic views -with a week of excellent weather! Thank you and your staff!
We had an amazing stay here in Narbonne! The photos you see are beautiful but the house is even better in person. It was so comfortable, beautiful decor, thoughtful touches (like throw blankets, baskets for market, plenty of closet space with extra hangers, extensive kitchen equipment, more...), gorgeous lighting and cozy/high quality bedding (so important when travelling). We felt so at home and enjoyed our down time while in the house! The sunroom was our sanctuary during our stay... our reading room while there... the natural light is so perfect with the back sliding window open and the breeze coming in! Heaven!
What a wonderful, characterful holiday home you have created. Comfortable, modern where necessary but full of historical character. And lovely to have the space all around. Just the tonic we needed after months of "lockdown". Thank you!
Thank you so much for your very warm welcome at Piglet. What a wonderful house ! Vouvant is a delightful village which we enjoyed getting to know. Altogether a lovely spot.
We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in La Picholine. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.
I have stayed in this property twice now, once with family and once with a group. Both times have been excellent. The villa itself is large, spacious with all the facilities you will ever need and very well maintained. On the last visit, it was noticeable that money had been spent modernising the interior. The key asset is the large pool which is fantastic. We spent most of our time using the kitchen and barbeque area in the pool house and dipping in and out of the pool. Very relaxing. The grounds are large too so plenty of space for the kids to run around safely. Vidauban itself is a traditional French village with shops, cafés and restaurants around the town square etc. and slightly further afield good access to the Côte d'Azur, several water parks and the gorgeous and picturesque Lac du Verdon, with a plethora of water activities from windsurfing, to pedal boat rentals and of course a great number of Vineyards to sample the local Rose wine. Recommend very highly.
We loved our stay - we were in a mixed group and it worked really well as each couple had their own space and privacy, but there are wonderful spaces for entertaining as a large group. The pool area is stunning and the setting is calm, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the bikes on trips to nearby villages too!
Thank you to Pure France for the prompt, polite and easy booking process, to the owners of Manoir Coutenson for allowing us to rent the property and also to David, the property manager who greeted us on arrival and was so helpful. Our family of 15 (aged between 1 - 64) have just enjoyed a fabulous week at this wonderful property. It is the most well equipped place we have ever stayed and all the extra touches (including small children's toys and books) ensured a relaxed and easy break for the whole family. We would unreservedly recommend the Manoir to any family group. Thanks again.

We have enjoyed several wonderful visits to this most delightful property set in bucolic rolling countryside. The house is elegant and extremely comfortable, giving maximal privacy inside and out so that guests can enjoy the peace, whether swimming in the lovely pool, or just relaxing in shade or sun. There is also a lovely terrace for al fresco dining and a fabulous collection of books. The creation of the gardens is masterful . We loved the nearby market in Condom and the creamy stone architecture of the area.
Thank you Madeline and Alan for an amazing stay at short notice at your beautiful home, Camirout. I thoroughly enjoyed the walks that we went on and I was grateful for the time that you both took to do that, which you didn't need to do. It was so relaxing and the views were stunning. I will be recommending to friends and family. Camirout is an absolute must stay! Thank you again for the best time!! I will be back.

A lovely town house in a quiet village, with the added bonus of a pool. We enjoyed dining on the terrace in the evening watching the sun set.

So many nice touches, you clearly put a lot of thought and no doubt effort into making it a very special place. We had a fantastic holiday at Manoir Coteaux. The grounds were ideal for our children and dog to play and explore and the swimming pool was well and truly made use of every day, even on cooler days thanks to the heating! The inflatables were a much appreciated welcome gift and provided no end of fun. The BBQ area gives a superb evening view. We stayed in the main manor and enjoyed the property's character and charm, which had everything we needed. Special thanks to Tracey who prepared several meals in the manor for us to enjoy without hassle of driving to a restaurant. We did venture out a few times and highly recommend Le Lac restaurant at Argenton, especially as it welcomes dogs on the terrace. Elanor, Roger and Tracey really did tend to our every need and gave us good recommendations on things to do as well as sorting any issues we had. This was our first family holiday since covid had curtailed our usual regular holidays overseas. The location and ease of access for us from Jersey now makes a holiday in a rented home in the Loire a very appealing alternative to international travel and we felt quite safe everywhere we went with the measures in place, but also due to the ability to stay away from crowds and enjoy family time in a lovely property. We will almost certainly do it again.
Have returned to Les Fumerates for five consecutive years and always have the most wonderful time here. Les Fumerates is stunningly beautiful and the setting is unmatched. The infinity pool and the views across to the sea are incredible. Great location - very peaceful, but close to St Paul de Vence. Always leave feeling very relaxed and refreshed. Cannot recommend highly enough!
We would just like to say a massive thank you for the week we have just spent at Pech d'aze. It truly is a fantastic home. We could have stayed another week so easily! It was so peaceful and every night we would watch the sunset from the field below with a bottle of wine and listen to the frogs singing from the pond. Weather was lovely and both of us made good use of the pool. We had a BBQ every night and left charcoal for the next lucky guests

We have had such a happy and relaxing week at Piglet and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you both and sharing your beautiful home and garden. We have visited many properties in France and this is one ofthe loveliest ! Vouvant is a delightful village with its interesting history and vibrant community.The guided walk of the village is recommended as well as a visit to the zoo - great for kids. Just a little note to say thank you so much for our lovely, restful, peaceful stay in your beautiful Loft. We're sure you saw we were well and truly exhausted after a summer running events - the Loft was THE PERFECT ANTIDOTE!
