What an amazing holiday! Le Pigat was beautiful and very well equipped with extra little touches. This all made our visit special. The bread delivery was an absolute delight. Many special memories made by the pool and we found the cave! Also visits to Bergerac, Périgueux, Monbazillac, Mouleydier, Issigeac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme, Château de Bridoire, Saint-Émilion and Brantôme. Not forgetting Eymet and Trémolat. All beautiful places and worth a visit. Many special restaurants too. Some rustic, some very gourmet. We will miss being here in the warmth, by the pool and in wonderful surroundings. Many thanks.
Many thanks for your kindness, we loved the figs, wine et the apple pie. The pool was very nice and the house perfect. Thank you for this fabulous fortnight! Recommended trips with children: Narbonne and Gruissan beach, aerospace Museum in Toulouse, at least 2 trips to Carcassonne, Perpignan worth the drive, Saturday market in Carcassonne.
We have really enjoyed our stay in the house, it's situated in a beautiful area of France and have enjoyed the pool and appreciated the AC in the house.

Thank you for your hospitality and enabling us to stay in this beautiful house. During our stay we have very much enjoyed L'abbaye de Fontevraud - so beautiful and wondrous to explore for us and our children, Chinon - such character, even in the rain, the sweet asset wine Coteaux du Layon (c'est magnifique, merci), Azay le Rideau - such a beautiful village, many interesting shops, beautifully presented streets, Mona Pizza in Saumur, despite the name the pizzas (wood-fired oven) were incredible! the Church in Cunault - stunning 14th century, Villandry château gardens - the grounds were stunning, Montreuil ville basse - a lovely village, stunning château in the centre and a great pottery studio, the pool and garden! Enjoyed by us all every day. The gîte was a home-from-home, a real pleasure to stay in. We hope to return here one day!
I fell under the spell of this beautiful, atypical residence. Its proximity to the Duras castle gives it a magical touch... There is all the necessary comfort for visitors and the bedding is quality. On one side of the residence, breathtaking view of the beautiful swimming pool and the valley and on the other side, magical view of the castle fortifications. I will not reveal any more and leave the pleasure to the next visitors of discovering the other little treasures that this house hides. The village of Duras is typical of small provincial towns with its beautiful and colorful local market. In the evenings, very good festive atmosphere.
We stayed in the Maison des Artistes for 2 weeks at the end of June and had a fantastic holiday. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our party and the house had plenty of room for everyone’s differing needs. The photos of the listing are absolutely spot on in terms of accuracy! The outside space really is big. It had plenty of chairs/loungers/covered day beds. Fantastic outside table for al fresco eating. The pool was beautiful. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool during our stay due to a couple of severe storms in the area but Colin and Mel were very prompt at dealing with these. The gas BBQ was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which you often find to not be the case. Internally there is air conditioning in each room. The whole house has electric shutters which are great for blackout blinds to get some good sleep and also keep the house cooler. Beds very comfortable, nice linen wear on all beds. Towels were all brand new. Generous and lovely welcome basket was there for us on arrival. Colin and Mel met us on arrival at the property and gave us a very quick run down and left us to it. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay when we did have any queries or minor issues. Kitchen was very well equipped for large parties, loads of plates, utensils, cookware etc. Good supply of kitchen basics. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms. Very quiet peaceful location. In summary one of the best properties we have ever stayed in over many years of holidaying abroad
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Excellent stay! Our host Nathalie was very responsive by message and accommodating. The house was clean and perfectly matched the description. We would have stayed there longer!
Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing stay. We know the area well but usually stay in more rural areas. What we absolutely loved most was being able to stay so close to the incredibly beautiful town of Sarlat whilst having the feeling of being completely remote! The wonderfully enclosed garden and pool gave us a rural vibe with all the benefits of being able to walk to amazing restaurants every evening. Your villa definitely provided the best of both worlds for us and we will definitely be back.
The Pool is Fantastic. We definitely agree with all the positive feedback. Our stay was 5 star, the pool is fantastic, the lodging extremely comfortable and well laid out. Everything was available for a restful and rewarding stay thanks to our great and thoughtful hosts.

A totally unique experience staying in a tower with a wonderful panorama view of the sea. You can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching the tide go in and out and the ships coming into La Havre in the distance. At night when the tide is in, the sound of the sea is fantastic and almost feels like you are sleeping on the beach. The tower itself is nicely decorated, clean and kitted out with everything you might need for a holiday. The furniture and fittings are intelligently laid out to maximise the space at all levels so it doesn't feel cramped. Villerville itself was a charming, quiet seaside town with a few bistros and shops, perfect for escaping the usual hoards of tourists elsewhere on the Normandy coast. Definitely worthy of 4.5 star rating and only reasons for not getting 5 stars are lack of free parking on site (although plenty on the side streets behind the tower) and some evenings when the tide is out you get the occasional teenagers listening to music on the sea front until late at night.
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. We had a glorious family week - unbelievable calm and restful views over the vines, extensive grounds, with a good balance of shade and sun, a fabulous pool, a huge and cool interior with very well curated equipment (not just your usual IKEA) - all lovely in every way. Debbie was a perfect host: super discreet, but there with advice and troubleshooting whenever needed and above all, so thoughtful in ensuring that we could make the most of our time there through enjoying local sites, markets and produce (including walnuts and jams from the property), of which there are lots, within easy reach! We knew we were in for a great holiday as soon as we saw that a bottle of wine was awaiting us from the vines outside our window and we were right.
Back again from Australia with family from England. We had very hot weather here, so loved swimming in your lovely pool, so enjoyed being here again. Thank you Jackie.
House perfectly meeting our expectations as well as the description given on AirBNB, very friendly host and available if needed. We encountered no problems during our vacation and everything went as planned! Magnificent house and beautiful location on the heights of Saint-Raphaël.
We chose this property because of the pool and the outside space and we were not disappointed. It is such a glorious place and it made our holiday so special. It is all so well looked after and the owners have thought of so many things. You can tell they are very proud of it. We loved using the coffee machine and the homemade jam was delicious. We loved our evening BBQ's on the terrace under the canopy, but jumping and playing in the pool was the best. Memories made for a lifetime. Merci beaucoup.
Staying here was lovely - the house is stunning and is set in a really peaceful location. The view is really amazing and the house is really nice. We loved it!

What a memorable time we had with friends along with my 5 years old daughter at the château. The owners are friendly and extremely generous, beautiful adorable dogs, my daughter is fond of them. The castle is rustic French style property with large windows directly opens to garden space and pool, the property is huge enough for every day walk, lush greens, canals, peaceful at the same time. The furniture and tapestry are well selected and stored beautifully. It’s a combination of modern comfort meets rustic luxury one could dream of. 5 - 10 minutes drive to local markets, boulangerie for delicious French breads. Amazing Safari zoo, my daughter and we had a great time. Great seas face restaurants are close by and a must visit. A perfect gateway to celebrate with your family, friends and loved ones.

We could not have made a better decision than to come to Villa La Baronne to spend the end of the year. The house is magnificent, the location unbeatable both for the surroundings (the river, the forest, the small towns...) and the proximity to Toulouse. It's been an absolute cracker. The house is a joy and the pool has been the centre of our stay. We've loved exploring the local area, particularly the beach side lunch in Cannes and wild afternoon at the inflatable waterpark at the lake.
