Super stay, so much to see in the area. Lovely comfortable cottage, a home from home. The pool was a real treat and saw deers and cows around the grounds. Julian and Pascale are so lovely and it has been a pleasure to meet them. Favourite Moment: Saint Emilion, relaxing by the pool. Places We Recommend: Brantôme.
Feeling a little sad writing this as it means bidding farewell to a very special place but delighted to be leaving with some wonderful memories of an extremely enjoyable week.
This is an excellent and beautiful chateau. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout the whole property. Everything was perfect from the word go. Our Host Quentin was the most kind and considerate person where nothing was too much to ask for or to do for us. Even before we arrived he was available to help us with recommendations for staying overnight on our drive from England to the Chateau. A truly lovely person who cared about you having a great holiday in a great property.
Loved seeing you both and was so much fun to enjoy Jenn's cooking, sunshines, minerals, highlights was the little mountain restaurant of giving French to French people. Thank you for having us!
We had a lovely stay! The house was completely to our taste, with a magnificent garden and a superb view which allows you to completely disconnect. Everything is available. Tessa who welcomed us was charming. The Mas is even nicer than on the photos. Ideal for a stay with friends or family. We highly recommend.

We have had the most wonderful time at Maison des Hirondelles. The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed, so clean, comfortable and well thought out. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Cédric. Our daughter Edie, who is 8 months old had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and very much enjoyed her first holiday here in France. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne, Gruissan, Minerve (fantastic chocolate shop!), Béziers, Canal du Midi with the 9 locks. Thank you for showing us your wine cellar, such a lovely touch. We would love to come back.

Thank you for a fabulous two weeks at the Loft! The house is lovely and has been fitted out with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and the bathrooms were like staying in a 5 star hotel! However, our stay was made truly complete by your wonderful warm hospitality. It would not have been the same without your superb hosting skills! Lastly, thank you for letting the girls play with Mack and Mabel - it was definitely a high on the list of things they are going to miss after leaving the Loft. You've even cured their fear of dogs! All the best for the rest of your plans for the property!

Your house has been such a beautiful place to spend a week of our holiday. We've loved every minute - so much so that we didn't go far from Le Chambarru. The attention to detail was fantastic - from the decor to the 'welcome basket' to our name on the gate. The only thing missing was that we only stayed for 7 nights. We had the most wonderful stay in Maison Baleyssagues. The house was exactly as described and we immediately felt at home. Great location, beautiful pool and perfect rooms and beds. Also big thanks to host Frédéric. We will definitely come back.

At the end of a long and busy vacation in France, the property was a beautiful place to relax. The grounds and pool are perfect, the owners were friendly and helpful. Very clean, well appointed, comfortable. Close enough to go where we wanted along the Côte d'Azur, but peaceful when we wanted to relax. One week was not enough. Will definitely return here if we travel to France again.
From the moment I arrived at Les Cazettes, I was completely mesmerised by it. Every corner of the villa has the most beautiful architecture, thoughtful design and authentic charm in every detail, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Each room is a masterpiece. All that beautiful furniture and chandeliers speak of timeless elegance and gives it much more personality than any modern soulless contemporary interior designs that is more common to find among luxury villas. As someone who deeply values nature, the villa's surroundings became my nirvana place. With colourful fields that seem to stretch infinitely and forests that attract to explore it, there’s a certain magic that Les Cazettes holds. The air here is different - it’s charged with an energy so vibrant, yet very calming. It's rare to find a place that can give you the feeling of being home, especially when you're miles away from what you’ve always known. It’s an oasis where happiness isn’t just felt, it's lived. I've spent such beautiful moments here, makes me feel so warmly nostalgic as I write this review. Bring your favourite people with you and step into that bubble that feels from another world. A place where joy isn’t just a sporadic emotion but a permanent atmosphere that surrounds you. It's not just a holiday spot - it’s an experience, a journey, a lifestyle that I never wanted to end. A beautiful house and perfect for our four generation family holiday. The children loved the pool and the huge range of toys. They spent most of their time in the pool and playing with the garden toys. Beautiful rooms and everything we could possibly need provided. We enjoyed a family walk around the lake followed by an excellent lunch at the restaurant in the museum. Days out to Revel, Castres, Carcassonne and other local villages.
All of us have had a lovely holiday - so relaxing! Much reading, drinking wine, lying in the sun and swimming. Absolutely perfect! We went to Carcasonne which is stunning, but it was unbelievably hot! (and the whining children not the easiest!) Thank you - It's a great house. And we echo all the above sentiments. It has been perfect week of pure relaxation - the owner is absolutely right when he says that there is no very good reason to leave the house - we managed an afternoon in the Montagne Noir - stunning views especially from Saissac. The house is perfect for all of us. A huge thank you to the owners for making it so good.

Le Château de La Loire had a perfect location for exploring the Loire valley. It finds itself close to places such as Saumur, many beautiful castles, vine tastings, champignons farms and other highlights of that region. The hosts have been great and the place has all you need with pool, yoga lessons, massages services, excellent breakfast, quiet park and art exhibitions... we will come back!
Beautiful Home with Large Gardens and Heated Pool. A very special place. The house is spacious and the layout gives plenty of areas to relax. The garden and pool is beautiful. With woodland views, there are lots of seating areas and loungers, a hammock and games to play in the huge grassy area. And the pool is perfect. Sam is a super host, happy to help and is kind and fun. If you love yoga, then there is the chance to have a session with Sam in her beautiful yoga studio. We had the best time. Thank you!
