THE LOFT! - Undoubtedly the best accommodation we have ever stayed at in France. A great concept realised in every detail. Wonderful hospitality on our arrival and throughout our stay. Your new B&B concept is beyond our imagination and will be utterly unique on completion. Thank you for being such kind, generous and welcoming hosts. We have had such a happy and relaxing week at Piglet and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you both and sharing your beautiful home and garden. We have visited many properties in France and this is one ofthe loveliest ! Vouvant is a delightful village with its interesting history and vibrant community.The guided walk of the village is recommended as well as a visit to the zoo - great for kids. What an incredible week away in a wonderful house! We enjoyed a trip to Jonzac and St Georges de Didonne but mainly stayed at the house with everything it has to offer. Games room for family rounds of table tennis, the pool temperature was fabulous and the house itself very spacious and comfortable. Thank you for the Welcome hamper all the great comms ahead of our stay and for letting us enjoy this haven!
Where do we start..? You have created something truly magnificent with The Loft, which not only met our expectations, but exceeded them beyond belief. We are endlessly grateful to you for giving us this much-needed week in paradise. You certainly have thought of everything, making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. This is our 3rd visit and yet again we have had a lovely time. Weather a little more energetic than previously but still lovely and warm. So relaxing, peaceful and calm, with the advantage of Poitiers to explore and the fantastic bakeries nearby. Thank you so much again.

We thought this was the perfect setting for our extended family holiday. We had long lazy days by the pool, some nice days out to the bastide towns and alfresco dinners followed by games We rescued several frogs from the pool! There were plenty of distractions in the house for every age and we found the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Fabulous weather for two birthday celebrations and we found it to be a very peaceful and idyllic setting. Amazing house! We all made amazing memories and had a great time.
Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had! The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them. We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.
Unique castle atmosphere beautiful ambience with period partly antique furniture and china. Great pool.
We would like to thank Terry and Carol for allowing us to have a great family vacation. The house was perfect and faithful to the photos. The access to the secure pool allowed us to appreciate this place even more with our children.

Cottage du Jardin has been beautifully restored and is very comfortable and well appointed. The amenities are excellent and the pool is exceptional. The location is wonderful because it is close to so many attractions and to a number of excellent restaurants.

A memorable week in Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. Our host Thomas was very caring and attentive. Very good services (top bedding and cleanliness, nothing to complain about. There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family. The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. A truly magical week in the most magical Château – in a magical setting. Absolutely wonderful week. Everything was perfect – thank you very much to all the staff who looked after it all. Absolutely divine residence. Fantastic well equipped kitchen. Glorious grounds and Jennifer was on hand to help everything from finding a great beach bar to making the reservations. Could not have enjoyed our stay more.
It's a must at Château Velouse! I have just returned from a fabulous reunion holiday of college friends, hosted at this beautiful Château Velouse. Situated in its own absolutely breathtaking grounds, of forest, fields and orchards, the land is vast enough for an early morning 5k circuit run, plus the wall to wall sunshine and a cooling swim in the beckoning outdoor pool of this gorgeous château, is a definite must for everyone! The inside of the château is something to marvel, with every bedroom individually named and decorated to the highest quality. A wonderful self catering holiday for our party of 14, gave us chance to meet with the excellent hosts Philip and Claire. Thank you both for making us all so welcome, we will certainly be returning in the not too distant future!

What a wonderful break away!! Mark and Gary have created a perfect haven…the attention to detail both internally and externally is amazing. Beautiful decor and art in the gite and a stunning pool area surrounded by nature and birdsong- it’s so restorative and peaceful. From the minute you arrive you feel looked after with the luxurious welcome hamper, cocktail on arrival and local artisan soaps and moisturisers throughout the gite. Would highly recommend and will be back!
High quality rental for 1 week with our friends and family. Ideal for a week of rest with the children. Large property with enough to take care of and walk around. Ideal to discover the calm of the region. I highly recommend!
This was our second stay at The Cottage du Jardin and it certainly not be our last. Caterina and Steven are perfect host who were wonderful company when the time was appropriate but gave us full privacy at all other time. To be honest, they were both like good neighbours and made us feel as if we were at home. We could speak too highly of the region, the cottage or of Cat and Steve. Thanks for a lovely week.
