Ideally located close to the Dordogne and Sarlat, Le Borghesia offers great services in a preserved and calm environment. Its interior layout perfectly combines the charm of the old with modern comfort. The decoration, partly composed of family furniture and paintings, adds a touch of soul to this charming farmhouse where we spent a very pleasant week. The very welcoming owners are a wealth of information about the region. One regret, not having had time to visit their other rentals located close to Borghesia.
We have had a really lovely week at La Maison Cabanon. It was great to feel home from home here. All the children relaxed straight away. We had a couple of cloudy days so went to Baux de Provence. Saint Remy de Provence market (Wednesday mornings) and explored L 'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - all nice things to do. But we mainly enjoyed the fab pool! Beautiful surroundings, lovely atmosphere. Thank you.

Wonderful holidays in Nissan-Lez-Enserune. We had wonderful holidays there. Location was very convenient, inside the village where shops / market were at walking distance. Our car remained within the property, so no pb to park. We took it only to visit the nearby cities of Narbonne, Gruissan and Béziers (20/30 min ride). The house was clean, with recent works being done and well equiped (nice kitchen and bathrooms). Pool was large, clean and surrounded by beautiful oleanders. We'll consider coming again for sure. Thanks to everyone.

Favourite Moment: Staying in the pool in the afternoons with wildlife, cheese and wine for dinner! We have returned from a lovely holiday at Maison Lamonzie in Bordeaux, thanks for your help in arranging.
An idyllic month! The farmhouse is lovely, cool inside and beautifully equipped. Everything worked perfectly, even the Wi-Fi for the numerous zoom meetings we both had in England. The summer kitchen and pool were a godsend, yesterday was 48° in the sun! Insane temperature but we coped well, including Harry, our black Labrador who always love being outside normally could hardly be dragged away from the cool tiles on the floor! Harry swam too in the Lot and various lakes nearby - very useful. We loved it so much, we are looking for a month next year. A huge thank you to Stéphane and Cathy (and Jean Luc) who looked after us and the pool and house so well. The area locally is so friendly and we have met some lovely people - at the Wednesday night market in Salles, walking Harry at 7 am in the morning (Mike, not me!) and on various visits to Monflanquin and other local bastide villages. 14th July celebrations last night were greatfun too. Vive la France! With many thanks again.

We have had the most fabulous time staying in the Loft du Vigneron this past week. We have booked through Pure France for four or five years and this place is by far the highest standard of accommodation that we have experienced. Every detail has been catered for. Everything that we needed for the week was at hand. We really enjoyed meeting you both and our kids thought that you were so nice and welcoming, and Kate really appreciated the lovely touch of the pool noodles! We wish you both health, happiness and best wishes for the future, and we really hope to revisit again in the future. Many thanks for everything - you are 'best in class' hosts.

Fantastic house in a lovely town. The property is extensive, nicely modernised and very well maintained. We visited with three children and they had plenty of room. The pool is AMAZING and they jumped in and out of that very happily. The outside terrace on the upper floor is a lovely place to lounge or eat - and the BBQ is a very good feature. In all we had a WONDERFUL time!
The property was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would recommend staying there to anyone. I will definitely be back to stay there again.
We would recommend eating at L'Ambrosia in Pezens, La Bergerie at Aragon and the restaurant at Le Château de Pennautier (quite local). Narbonne was a pleasant surprise (including its plage) for a day trip.
We had the most amazing time here! Wonderful location and accommodation. The views are breathtaking. Check out the Grand Cafe d'Occitanie and Carcassonne is a must see! Thank you so much, a bientôt!
We had a marvellous holiday at le Chambarru. It was the nicest house we have stayed in during our many visits to France over the years.
We've rented a lot of other villa, châteaux and domaines, but this one was the best! The six ensuite bedrooms were all the same size and had the same amenities so none of the six couples had a less than optimal room as we've experienced in other rentals. The two on-site staff were wonderful and spoke perfect English (they're Irish so not a surprise). The location in Burgundy was perfect for day trips. If you book this rental, you'll be delighted!
Most beautiful spot in the South of France! The house was sensational. The vista is beyond. The kitchen motivated us to cook and eat on the patio every night. Proximity to all the area has to offer and the patisserie and vegetable market and town are all right at the foot of the hill. Ours hosts organised all we needed too - language tutoring for our daughter and extra housekeeping. 6 stars !
We have had a wonderful stay at La Remise. Esther and Lee have been helpful hosts and gave some great tips on places to eat and visit for our stay. The villa and especially the pool have been fantastic.
We have had a fantastic stay in this fabulous property and wanted to say how much we loved The Loft! It was everything we had expected and more; it is fantastically equipped and we wanted for nothing. Karen and Russell are excellent hosts and we hope to stay here again in the future. My husband and I had a perfect week. (23rd to 29th of June 2025z Florence was the best host. The barn was just stunning. The photos really don’t do it justice. The facilities were among the best we’ve had. We have been going to Dordogne for 30 years with our family. This property with all the required amenities (and I mean ALL) was above and beyond what we were expecting. Florence had thought of everything even down to some very special luxury spa products. Hair products (including straighteners!. We were warmly welcomed with a smile and more than sufficient welcome pack. All that we needed for evening and the following morning. Including wine! She really was the best owner we have met. It was such a pleasure meeting her and staying for the perfect week in her beautiful barn. We had an invited evening with aperitifs in the garden. Delightful company. All the health and safety information was given to us on arrival with a phone number we could call at anytime, for anything. The pool was absolutely perfect. We had a huge choice of entertainment from games, books, music but we were just amazed that this including Netflix!! Perfect for an evening relaxing on the very comfortable couches. Eymet is also just 15 minutes drive away and has a very good range of exceptional restaurants, cafes and boutiques, antique shops etc. A beautiful historic town. We really can’t rate Florence and her wonderful accommodation highly enough. Our sincere thanks go to her for helping to make our peaceful week away from it all. So very memorable. I forgot to add our absolute joy of having air con all around the house!!!! The icing on the cake!!! Thanks again
Domaine du Château is the most beautiful and well equipped house ever. Better in the flesh than the photographs suggest. We stayed as a group of 11 extended family members and a couple of babies. Largely because of babies and children, we wanted a place with a pool where kids could be when adults were doing other things. Domaine du Château was perfect for this. The owners, have a history of taking groups to rental houses around Europe. They took notes and used them in renovating this property, resulting in attention to detail that makes everything work for a large group. I cannot think of a single thing that was lacking in making the house work for us. There is an exceedingly well equipped cook's kitchen. Every bedroom was beautiful with en suite bathrooms. They have cribs and the ability to turn the bedrooms (or at least some of them) from queen beds to twins. The bedrooms are arranged in pairs with good separation from other pairs of bedrooms. All are well away from public rooms where there might be noise. There are even two pairs of washers and dryers, so no queue for doing laundry. There are multiple outdoor terrace areas and a stunning view from the salon terrace over the pool to the hillside village beyond. The house is about 40 minutes from Beaune in a beautiful rural area. It is a great cycling area. The Voie Verte that runs from Santenay to Nolay might be the most scenic ride in Burgjndy. Once you get on it, you are completely separate from cars and riding on the level through stunning vineyards all the way. The house is also close to the Canal du Centre which is another great biking opportunity along the old towpath. Beware that the house is uphill from both, so the return may be a bit challenging for some riders. We rented bicycles from Bourgogne Randonées in Beaune. They were delivered to the house and were in mint condition. Must not forget Stephen and Lilly, the house managers. They live in a separate area of the property. They are a delightful couple with an enviable history of adventurous living. They were completely unobtrusive, but there to meet any need we might have, including doing the shopping for us one day. On the subject of shopping, do not miss the Sunday morning market in Chagny. There are dozens of vendors with beautiful local produce, cheese and meat, as good as can be found anywhere.
La Charmante Distillerie is a wonderful holiday venue. Situated in the heart of the French countryside, but 10 minutes away from a busy and enchanting town. Mark and Gary are perfect hosts, completely non intrusive but immediately available to offer the best advice on local places of interest, restaurants and generally help. The interior is stylish, the artwork beautiful, the furniture very comfortable and the bedrooms perfect. Six adults and three children occupied the property for a week. The hosts catered for our every need, even buying new toys for our 9 month old grandson. At no stage did La Distillerie feel crowded. The swimming pool was heated and my three grandchildren were continuously swimming and playing in the dedicated play area. Me and my family can absolutely recommend La Charmante Distillerie.
A top-notch house and its terrace which is just Wow, with a swimming pool and breathtaking views! A quiet, perfect place. Thank you for this beautiful place! I highly recommend!
It's gone too quickly! Lovely stay at Château du Pic de Rigaud, such an impressive building and even more fabulous views!! We made the most of the pool when the sun was out and when cloudy would highly recommend the walk up to the NAjac fortress and kayaking (Saint-Antonin - but more adventurous than Najac!) and the tree tops walk at the river (Najac!). We had a delicious dinner at Mont le Viaur Hotel (booked by Henrietta - Thank you!). Highly recommend! Hope we visit again one day!
We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. I wanted to mention that we were delighted with our stay from August 5 to 12 with this very cordial and motivated winegrower. The house is beautiful, the property very calm, it has many walks and a nice swimming pool.
Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!
Very nice house, ideal for a family weekend because each room has its own bathroom and an ideal room for the elderly. The decoration is very tasteful, we had an excellent weekend. Thank you Christophe. See you next time.
