We have had a lovely week here. Great house, lovely garden and pool. The weather was perfect and the sightseeing has been great. Biking too! We hope to see you again someday.
Can't really add to what's said before, but totally agree the house is a perfect home from home and is a great base for a fantastic holiday.
I wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you, we had a wonderful, relaxing week. The villa, garden and pool were all fabulous and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The villa has been finished to a very nice standard and we would definitely like to go back and we will be recommending it to our family and friends.
This place is perfect and we wouldn't change a thing! We especially loved your dogs. Russell and Karen are great hosts and super-friendly. Thank you for a brilliant stay at the Loft!
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
Beautiful villa in a stunning location. Inside there are large spacious rooms, which are all furnished to a high standard. The property was lovely and clean and well maintained. My husband and I stayed with my daughter and boyfriend, we had the lovely bedroom on the first floor which had a verandah with the most stunning view. I found it difficult to drag myself away from here each morning whilst enjoying my breakfast overlooking the village and church. My daughter had the double on the ground floor which was just as lovely with double doors opening out onto patio area. The villa was large enough for us all to have our own space and privacy. Outside the pool area was stunning, more glorious views. Plenty of sun beds for everyone, a very well equipped area and great pool! I also found it difficult to drag myself away from here, but glad I did as the area is so beautiful. A must is the Gorge du Verdon, the many hill top villages and a visit to the fabulous beaches. After a days sightseeing it was great to come back for a swim before going out to dinner. We did'nt travel far in the evenings as we really enjoyed the hotel in the village. The food was excellent, well presented and good service. Italian was also good. We also enjoyed shopping locally for produce, cooking for ourselves and then relaxing in the garden, followed by a game of boules, what could be better especially after a few glasses of wine! I would recommend a stay here and am looking forward to our return.

Even more idilic than last time. Everything has been thought about and nothing is missing so you have set the scene for a perfect holiday.
A luxurious spot with the most beautiful heated pool and views to the Mediterranean. The pool and its view absolutely makes this property. It is absolutely spotless, heated to a perfect 30 degrees and is an infinity pool which adds to the luxurious feel. There is a diving board and a fun water slide and there are foam pool loungers available too. The terrace is also beautiful with plenty of sunbeds and seating and a table for meals. Inside the property is spacious with some interesting antiques and the bedrooms are air conditioned, which is lovely even though there is plenty of shade on hot days anyway. The car can be parked right next to the villa for ease of carrying luggage and supermarket shopping etc. All in all Les Fumerates feels like a slice of paradise, peaceful and calm and difficult to tear yourself away from despite the easy proximity of the coast. The pool is the star attraction, always lovely to swim in even in late evening and with a slide, diving board and floating loungers if wanted. The terrace and pool are lit at night and the calm, luxurious atmosphere makes it almost impossible to leave despite its proximity to some lovely places to visit!
Thank you for a wonderful holiday, staying in your beautiful villa. We have loved the pool and the garden, the views are stunning and we have very much enjoyed taking our coffee in the mornings and drinking our wine, sitting at the various places dotted so perfectly around the grounds. We have enjoyed the Monday morning market in Duras and the nights market at Monsegur on Wednesday evening. Thank you Frédéric for his warm welcome. It has been a truly relaxing and enjoyable week.
The villa was just as described and was perfect in every way. We chose the villa because everything was on one level and the pool and terrace area were located very close to the main house. We had the most wonderful time and the arrangement of the bedrooms meant we had plenty of space to relax in. The BBQ area was well used. The air conditioning was welcomed during the warm Mediterranean nights. It was also the first villa we have stayed in where we were able to walk to the local town in order to buy our daily croissants. The service we had from Pure France and Philippe was exceptional. We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Fitou, staying in this lovely and comfortable villa. I agree with other reviewers, the pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious with a very high finish throughout maintaining a very homely feel. Our party consisted of 2 families with 4 kids (6, 6, 2 and 2), they loved it. As for the area, well it's a really special region of France. The location is perfect for day trips to the regions finest attractions (Carcassonne, Collioure, Gruissan etc...) and equally relaxing staying local. Fitou and nearby Leucate Village are charming and the local beaches are lovely, unspoilt and crowd free. There is as much or as little to do here as you'd like. We will certainly be coming back to the area and hopefully to this villa again.
a wonderful treat to spend summer half term in the incomparable Le Grand Mas de Valcros. A house that really has every luxury and comfort with the most insane views. Endless pool-time, boules tournaments, visits to bastide towns and a trip to the sea - all missions that were completed with happy smiles. A million thanks for letting us share your home.

Wonderful time here in Sarlat. This house is perfect for seeing the area. Lots of great things to do within easy distance. The house is in a beautiful location and with the high temperatures this week the pool has been a godsend. Everything in the house is geared for visitors and it's really well equipped. This is my first time in the Dordogne and it's absolutely beautiful. I will certainly come back soon. Thank you Jackie and Geoff for a wonderful holiday.
What an amazing chateau you have, breathtaking; everything that we needed and more. We have enjoyed 1 wonderful week, wish it could have been more. Julie, Paul and Steven - you have been fantastic, always on hand for advice and support and ideas. Especially enjoyed our ‘feast’ in the Dining Room celebrating Alan’s 70th birthday with laughter and some lovely memories that will stay with us all forever. Delightful stay in vineyard in Provence. Les Trois Maisons de Valescure was superb, situated up a track and literally miles from anywhere in the glorious vineyards, with delightful far-ranging views. Equipped to an extremely high standard with every room having an ensuite. The bedrooms were large, well-furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen and living space was ideal for our family of 21 which ranged from 10 months to 70+ years old. The swimming pool was completely safe and the games equipment etc. very useful. Thomas who helped us with our booking was unfaillingly helpful and dealt with all our queries really efficiently. Nicolas was charming too and so patient with every request we made. He also gave us an excellent tour of the winery. We were delighted by him. We would unreservedly recommend Valsecure hamlet to any family who want a holiday in a beautiful and quiet area of Provence.
My family and I enjoyed a fabulous week at Maison de Saint-Jean. The house is spacious and well equipped in a quiet location with easy access. To places of interest. It's got great beds. We particularly enjoyed the large pool which is well equipped with sunlongers parasols and BBQ. There is a good restaurant a short walk away. The house also has stunning views.
I just wanted to thank you for providing us with the perfect spot for our vacation week in Provence. We loved everything about your home, the surroundings and the people. As it was my first time to Provence, we had an elaborate plan to visit Aix, Arles, Avignon etc and whereas I am sure they are fantastic places too, however, we ended up exploring the lovely mountain villages surrounding your home and loved every minute. Thank you for leaving the details regarding bike rental and horse-back riding, in the end it was a bit too hot to do either but maybe next time?! The house was great in every way and we loved every attention to detail and your impeccable taste. Again, thank you for a wonderful holiday, we do hope that some day we can return.

We had a great time in an apartment made of noble materials, well laid out, decorated with refinement, taste, comfortable and spacious. Enjoy the surrounding landscapes on foot and by bike.
We have had a fantastic holiday here! The pool was great as was the weather. The house was great as well and was very comfy. The garden was amazing, we practically lived outside. Overall we really loved our stay here and will definitely recommend this holiday to our friends and family.
