The house was spotless and the pool one of the nicest we have used. Thierry couldn't be more helpful, giving us total peace and privacy unless we needed his assistance. We would highly recommend a stay here!
An exceptionally beautiful maison. We spent a week in Maison Sebastien with 2 other families; there were 6 adults and 7 children in total and we all had a fantastic time without exception. The house is beautifully renovated and you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and hard work into making the house as well equipped and comfortable as possible. There was plenty of space for everyone especially the kids. The bedrooms were very comfortable each with its own nicely decorated bathroom and necessary amenities. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, which was great since we enjoyed cooking at the house and eating outside on the lovely terrace. The view was amazing and we couldn´t get enough of the beautiful outside area of the house. The pool area was also very nice and well used with the children.Francois, the friendly housekeeper, lives on the property and was there to assist if we needed anything. The house is about an hour drive from many small villages in Provence like Gordes, Lourmarin, Bonvieux and more. I would highly recommend the property to anyone who wants to enjoy some peace and tranquility in an exceptionally beautiful maison with the opportunity to explore the beautiful nearby villages of Provence. I sincerely hope I will return to Maison Sebastien one day.
What a pleasure we had spending a week full of sunshine in your magnificent villa! Four adults, eight children... and everyone found what they were looking for. Words fall short to paint a suitable picture of this delightful place. A most luxurious apartment in an extremely desirable location on the French Riviera. The apartment has all the amenities that one could wish for and the owners are superb - helpful, accommodating and simply nice people. The pool is fantastic and should you wish to discover the area - well - the location is perfect. We had a great stay at the villa and it is, as of now, our place of choice when vacationing in the South of France.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here, especially time spent in the beautiful garden where we enjoyed the wonderful weather and had lots of fun - very enjoyable for my 5 year old! Villa du Château is simply exceptional. This beautifully restored listed historic home has been renovated with great care and offers an outstanding level of comfort and amenities. A special mention goes to the pool area and outdoor summer kitchen, which are wonderfully designed and make it easy to spend the entire day outdoors—from breakfast and lunch to afternoon snacks and dinner—without ever needing to return to the main house. The property enjoys a truly ideal location, just a two-minute walk from both the Château de Duras and the heart of the village, where you’ll find all the local shops and amenities, while still enjoying complete peace and quiet. Claire’s recommendations, both before and during our stay, allowed us to make the most of both the house and the surrounding region.
We were a large family group and we had a great stay in this beautiful house combining the charm of original features and modern comfort. The kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped. What a superb and huge outdoor terrace where to spend great times with family or friends. Beautiful well maintained swimming pool in a superb garden with the bonus of the pétanque court. Very nice view of the castle of Margon. Hélène is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Everything is as described. You would not need more for a holiday. We recommend the property in total confidence.
We've had a great time and we’ve especially enjoyed the pool, as the temperature has barely dropped below 30°C day or night for the week due to the canicule. Our favorites: Best boulangerie: Andralie in Monflanquin, just beyond the Gendarmerie on the road to Villeneuve. There is an Auchan hypermarket just beyond on the same road. Best market: (Sunday) Issigeac. Best night for: Sarlat (Wednesday's), Le Bugue also good (Tuesday's). Best for a visit and potter: Monpazier – old, beautiful and floral. Lots of artisan shops and a long fort (Château Biron). Also, fabulous marché nocturne in Tournon d’Agenais on Friday. We ate from (Gyp?) and enjoyed watching Olympics in cool shady areas.
We absolutely loved this house for our week-long stay for a friend's wedding - the house itself is gorgeous - really stylish with luxury fittings and furnishing, ample kitchen crockery etc and even well-stocked to use the BBQ and have food and drinks outside. The pool and view are just magnificent and there is a lovely restaurant just two steps away, as well as more bars and restaurants in nearby towns... just a perfect place for a relaxing south of France stay! We would love to return!
This place was a wonderful mix of feeling at home and being on holiday. You need very little here to truly enjoy yourself. A place to treasure and return to later.
Beautiful house in a great location. The house is spacious and has everything you would need and more. Very quiet and peaceful and the location was perfect, halfway between Montignac and the prehistoric sites and Sarlat and the Dordogne river. Florence the concierge was very helpful and responded quickly when needed. I highly recommend.
We’ve had the most special stay and made so many happy memories. The house is such fun with a young family and the children have been on many wildlife explorations around the grounds and we gave all spent hours in the pool. Thank you for your hospitality.
We did have a really, really lovely time in France and we'll no doubt be seriously considering using Pure France again on a future occasion.
What an amazing place - superb house and facilities - everything and everyone catered for. It has all been said before and we totally agree with all previous comments. Great time had by all - will definitely be back.
It is just as fabulous here in October as it was in June. The weather was much better than we expected, and we went to a couple of new places. We love the Library and Kitchen in the main house and look forward to seeing it all complete. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and for joining us to share our wedding anniversary lunch at La Cambuse de Saunier. We can't wait for next June, when we will again be back.

Wonderful house in an amazing location. What a fantastic trip, based in a wonderful house in an amazing location. An opportunity to discover and explore parts of the Dordogne which we hadn't seen before. Helped by the in house guides who, fortunately, selected Daglan, for dinner at La Petit Paris. What a charming village! We leave refreshed by a relaxing stay in the wonderful weather and lovely company.
Ideally located close to the Dordogne and Sarlat, Le Borghesia offers great services in a preserved and calm environment. Its interior layout perfectly combines the charm of the old with modern comfort. The decoration, partly composed of family furniture and paintings, adds a touch of soul to this charming farmhouse where we spent a very pleasant week. The very welcoming owners are a wealth of information about the region. One regret, not having had time to visit their other rentals located close to Borghesia.
What a most wonderful place to stay. We were with a group of great friends. Didn't know what to expect... but Château Entre-Deux-Mers was mind blowing! The owner had been informing us correctly with all the necessary information we needed in advance. We have enjoyed the beautiful decorated château from the beginning till the end. It is the proof of how a classical building can be reinvented by a good decorator. The kitchen, dining room, living room and all the rooms with their bathrooms were beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast we ordered, were delicious. And the service was elegant and discrete. A true recommendation to go again!
This villa was the perfect place for a two family holiday. The pool was very cool and refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing / shopping! The whole two week trip was plenty relaxing and a lot of fun! This house is gorgeous. We will not forget this trip! P.S. a great pizza place down the road!

We had a fabulous holiday at La Distillerie - the most beautiful gite we have stayed in, and a perfect setting in which to enjoy the French countryside. The property is beautifully decorated throughout, immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you may need. Mark and Gary are amazing hosts and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to their friendly welcome and warm hospitality throughout our stay. We were looking for a peaceful and relaxing break, and La Distillerie suited us perfectly. The pool, patio and garden areas are wonderful, with fantastic views across the open countryside. There are also lovely villages to visit within an easy driving distance. A big thank you to Mark and Gary for making our first visit so special, and we look forward to returning!
Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites!
