As regular visitors we choose this area for over 30 years. This is without doubt the loveliest property we we ever had. The location and settings are glorious. We loved to sat in every places of the garden and at different times of the day. Loved the relaxing and beautiful pool area enjoyed the tasteful but functional rooms and cooked every night in this well appointed kitchen. All the small touches and details show great level of consideration from the owners. Thank you so much Frederick has been welcoming and helpful it was lovely to come back and we hope to return at least once next year.
“Nice villa within easy access (20 min saunter) to the city centre. Pretty pool area and nice pool, with mature trees and bushes giving good shelter if the wind picks up. Very private with good access to sun from late-morning. Supermarkets within very easy walking distance.
Two weeks at Château Seyches to enjoy family, Dordogne and Garonne countryside, castle and wine and the amazing swimming pool... perfect holidays!
Mia, 7 years old We have had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house. I loved playing in the swimming pool with my nanny, grandad, sister and my 2 cousins. The market in Duras is definitely worth a visit with lots of lovely things to see and buy. I hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we have.
Thank you both for such wonderful hospitality. We've had a much needed peaceful and relaxing stay at Colombat. The surroundings are beautiful and it has been fascinating to learn about the history of WW2 in this region.
Wonderful villa, beautiful pool and perfect location! We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Les Fumerates. We had a lovely warm welcome from Michael and Denise and the attention to detail in the property was faultless with soap, shower gels, coffee pods and more provided, made even better with comfy beds, air conditioning and immaculate presentation. We loved the character of the property and it's suberb layout. The fantastic infinity pool lent itself to some lovely memories sitting on the terrace for a meal or drink and then dipping into the gorgeous water and looking out at the amazing views. We also had fun on the slide and diving board and relaxation floating on the comfy pool loungers. Les Fumerates is ideally placed to visit places such as Nice, taking the bus from the end of the road worked perfectly as well as being only 15 minutes drive from the airport! We also visited Monaco, Antibes, Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud but one of the highlights was the short walk to the magical village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence for a drink and a meal. We have enjoyed one of our best holidays yet and will definitely be back!
We booked Château Velouse as we love the Loire region. Definitely not disappointed... the welcome from the hosts Claire and Phil was lovely, the rooms were huge in size and height, great ensuites, it can hold 16 adults plus 4 children. Loads of space in the extensive grounds which are walled and fenced, we felt very secure and great for children and our dog to explore. The large swimming pool was fantastic and spent a lot of time there lounging on luxury sun beds under the umbrellas (30C plus during our stay). We had some wonderful evening meals during our stay either outside patio area which seated us all with lovely lighting or inside in the huge dining room. As a group of family and friends we took turns to cook which was great fun and the kitchen is very well equipped to cater for a large group. We had trips out to Bourges, Sancerre and a day on a local golf course, all recommended

What a delight it was to find this stunning house in such a wonderful location. The added bonus was owner Ms W who was so warm an welcoming and could not have been more helpful. There was a wealth of information on the local area available at the house but prior to reaching the house Sharon had armed us with all of the practical directions and information that make a holiday so much easier and relaxing. The house is equipped with everything you could want (and then probably more)! We enjoy cooking and there was never a cooking utensil or piece of equipment that was not to hand. If you do not like or wish to cook have no fear the local shops and markets provide all you need and in the local areas there is a large range of restaurants if you wish to have a meal made for you. We have also taken note of a number of book titles to look up when we get home based on the 'library' of books at the house. I would recommend reading a book while sitting on one of the many window seats soaking up the views! We were travelling with extended family and with so many additional areas for relaxation it meant that we all had our own space when we needed and could come together when we wanted. So this is a house that would meet the needs of a large / extended family or a group of friends. Though we did not have scorching weather we did make use of the pool and after a day of sightseeing it was refreshing. Again, Sharon's sense of humour, warmth and willingness to help in anyway she can ensured we got the very best out of our Lauguedoc vacation. I cannot recommend Maison Charvin enough!
The owner has welcome us warmly. Her open plan house is very nice. The pool is very large and we can really swim. For families the house is handy and there are pool toys and balloons. We have spent an enjoyable week at the property.

Three night weekend stay with friends. Very comfortable accommodation decorated to a high standard. Upstairs kitchen, lounge and patio looked over the pool. Brilliant. It was Bastille weekend and World Cup final. Lots going on in village square, bars and restaurants. Beach about 20 minutes drive - really nice with excellent restaurant. Shops and supermarket close by were very helpful. Visited Béziers and Narbonne about 30 minutes drive. Well worth the trip We had a great time and will definitely go back again!

Wow, wow and wow! The views are wonderful with the gorgeous sunsets. The whole family have loved all the facilities, particularly swimming in the multi-coloured lights at night.
My family (of 4) have stayed at this house on many occasions since the children were babies and it is the perfect house to spend a holiday with another family. The house has a wonderful and relaxed atmosphere and is always welcoming and cool after a hot days sightseeing around the pretty countryside. The swimming pool and grounds are beautiful. What with badminton on the lawn, ping pong in the barn, lazy meals outside in the courtyard and relaxing by the pool, it is possible for the whole family to be well occupied all day long.
Thank you so very much Benjy, Kate and Issy for welcoming us to the property. We have had the most heavenly week here and we leave feeling thoroughly relaxed. The lands, vineyards and pool are all spectacular and a fabulous location for a group of friends. The weather has been glorious and to be honest, it has been quite difficult to drag ourselves away from the house and pool… However, we did venture to Fontevraud (which we loved), and we discovered a couple of the local markets. We were very grateful for the small touches that made our stay special – the beautiful turn of the winery, the supplies of food (and drinks!) and the comfy beds and copious linen and towels. We also enjoyed cooking on the Aga – risotto, roast chicken etc. Delicious food to accompany your STUNNING wine! We very much hope to return one day.
We had a wonderful week. The house is arranged and decorated with care, where it feels good. And what a view, what tranquility... Thank you very much for your warm welcome, everything is perfect here. And what about the heated pool that allowed children to have fun for hours. Thank you very much for everything.
Superb deluxe holiday rental - fabulous owner helped enhance many warm memories . Stayed in a family party of 16 over New Year. Great directions and arriving on New years Eve, the owner was waiting by the main gate to great us as the rest of our party had arrive the day previous. The quality of the roof finishes, furnishings, bedding, towels... all outstanding. We had arranged for provisions ahead of our arrival, all were present and correct, even the ham was premium quality Fabulous grounds, cosy sitting rooms and 2 friendly red setters roaming gave a homely feel in what is a stylish deluxe country residence. Fully equipped kitchen with a 1st class chef available, deluxe menus with fine wine options all available. At the owners suggestion we visited Bourges which is 15 minutes away for a cosmopolitan array shops, bars and resturants while also being steeped in history. The gardens even in winter were impressive but the jewel in the crown has to be the cathedral nestled in Napoleonic architecture. Recommended, recommended - Can't wait to go back
Wonderful house full of character. My family had so much fun in the sparkling clean pool. All was laid on in the house and everything so clean.

A week stay with all the family. Villa Colline is a superb ultra modern luxury villa, fitted with stunning furniture and accessories. The modern kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms are all very luxurious, especially the master room with its hot tub. For me, it was the pool and the numerous sun terraces which pleased me, especially the private areas with each room - little havens of peace! We had a fantastic week and we give the villa 10/10 ! After many weeks of uncertainty, our decision to drive down to the Loft du Vigneron has been vindicated by a superb week. Thank you so much for all that you have done to make our week so memorable; especially prior to us leaving the UK. Your e-mails and your flexibility made us have a sense of connection before we had met you both. We have appreciated all the small touches that have made our stay easier - from the notes, welcome pack, advice, booking restaurants, etc. A good life is made up of special memories. We had a very good week of vacation with 2 families. The villa is superb, well equipped and maintained. The heated swimming pool is really a plus, the children really enjoyed it. The owners, who live nearby, are friendly and available. We will return with great pleasure if the opportunity arises. We are strongly recommend this rental.
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!

Superb property with all the comforts. We spent a week in July 2023 with family and loved the beauty of this area. The infinity pool, the jacuzzi and the ping-pong table delighted the children. The wooded park offers a beautiful space for relaxation and walking. Thank you again for Francesca’s welcome and services!
