We love the design and build of the house and have enjoyed our stay here with our family enormously. The pool has provided a great deal of fun for all and there is so much opportunity for relaxation and enjoying all the local produce!

A perfect stay for a family Christmas. Plenty of room for 10 people. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom. A very family-friendly living room, a superb and functional kitchen. A really fabulous time had by all 9 in our 'gang', you have left no stone unturned here in this great house. Location is perfect, Revel is a smashing town with everything you need whilst still retaining the feel of a rural French setting. A holiday none of us will forget. This holiday has been great! I have really enjoyed playing in the pool and running round the huge garden for exercise. Written by a teenager pretending they are 48!

We celebrated a week's holiday with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, has a beautiful and complete interior, but still has an authentic appearance. The space in and around the house is gigantic and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone: from a nice swimming pool with many sun loungers to a room with numerous games and a good tennis court. Highly recommended for a family holiday. We will definitely go back again.
Domaine du Château is the most beautiful and well equipped house ever. Better in the flesh than the photographs suggest. We stayed as a group of 11 extended family members and a couple of babies. Largely because of babies and children, we wanted a place with a pool where kids could be when adults were doing other things. Domaine du Château was perfect for this. The owners, have a history of taking groups to rental houses around Europe. They took notes and used them in renovating this property, resulting in attention to detail that makes everything work for a large group. I cannot think of a single thing that was lacking in making the house work for us. There is an exceedingly well equipped cook's kitchen. Every bedroom was beautiful with en suite bathrooms. They have cribs and the ability to turn the bedrooms (or at least some of them) from queen beds to twins. The bedrooms are arranged in pairs with good separation from other pairs of bedrooms. All are well away from public rooms where there might be noise. There are even two pairs of washers and dryers, so no queue for doing laundry. There are multiple outdoor terrace areas and a stunning view from the salon terrace over the pool to the hillside village beyond. The house is about 40 minutes from Beaune in a beautiful rural area. It is a great cycling area. The Voie Verte that runs from Santenay to Nolay might be the most scenic ride in Burgjndy. Once you get on it, you are completely separate from cars and riding on the level through stunning vineyards all the way. The house is also close to the Canal du Centre which is another great biking opportunity along the old towpath. Beware that the house is uphill from both, so the return may be a bit challenging for some riders. We rented bicycles from Bourgogne Randonées in Beaune. They were delivered to the house and were in mint condition. Must not forget Stephen and Lilly, the house managers. They live in a separate area of the property. They are a delightful couple with an enviable history of adventurous living. They were completely unobtrusive, but there to meet any need we might have, including doing the shopping for us one day. On the subject of shopping, do not miss the Sunday morning market in Chagny. There are dozens of vendors with beautiful local produce, cheese and meat, as good as can be found anywhere.
Super séjour dans cette sublime villa ! On s'y sent bien, comme à la maison... Nous y avons passé du bon temps... bien trop court une semaine ! À très bientôt.

I spent a week at this villa in September with my young family. It was perfect. Villa: The property itself is beautiful. It enjoys a large plot and is nicely secluded. The property is very well maintained. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen etc. look as they have recently been refurbished. The pool area / gardens are stunning and very well secluded. There is a pool-house equipped with a brick barbecue, kitchen / dining area and shower / toilet. We spent most of our time in this area. Location: The drive from Nice airport is about 45 minutes - it's quite a straightforward journey, mostly on the motorway. I believe Marseille airport is a similar distance away. The property sits in a very nice, secluded area close to many vineyards. The town square (Vidauban) is about 5 minutes' drive from the property. There you will find everything you need from supermarkets through to restaurants and bars. St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are all under 1 hour away by car Overall, I would highly recommend this villa. I have stayed at other villas in France, which have felt quite dated. This property has been very well maintained and modernised, but still has that French charm about it. We will definitely be returning to this property
Maison très agréable, idéale pour un week-end en famille car chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain et une chambre idéal pour des personnes âgées. La deco est de très bon goût, nous avons passé un excellent week-end. Merci Christophe. À une prochaine fois
We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to coming back for a third time.
Séjour fantastique - groupe de 10 adultes et 10 enfants. Excellente configuration pour bien divertir les deux groupes et quelques surprises supplémentaires comme une aire de jeux à côté de l'une des terrasses extérieures. La salle de sport et la piscine sont toutes deux immenses, la dernière nous gardant au frais pendant les chauds après-midi. Les propriétaires nous ont également aidés à organiser les services d'un cuisinier local pour certains soirs et ceux d'un producteur de vin local pour une dégustation de vin.
Belle propriété sur un site magnifique dans un endroit merveilleux. Les propriétaires sont des hôtes tellement charmants, toujours attentifs et très serviables. Ils font un excellent travail pour restaurer ces propriétés avec amour et de belles touches de décoration. Nous avons adoré le temps passé dans le Lot, merci beaucoup.
Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux chez Vero and Thierry. La maison est belle et très bien décorée. Les installations extérieures sont excellentes et disposent de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Parce que le temps était si beau que nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps au bord de la piscine et y avons mangé tous nos repas. Il y a un supermarché et deux boulangeries à 5 km et Poitiers est facilement accessible pour les visites touristiques et les restaurants. Nous parlons déjà d'y retourner. Je recommande vivement de séjourner ici.
Une maison familiale qui vous enchantera pour un weekend ou plus. Un grand extérieur avec piscine et de plus, très bien agencé où tous les espaces sont merveilleusement bien pensé et décoré. Une arrivée parfaite avec des recommendations sur les visites et les choses à visiter aux alentours. Une cuisine suréquipée et tout un tas d’ustensiles bien pratiques. Le bonus, 9 vélos sont à disposition pour profiter des environs. Je recommande vivement.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à La Haute Bastié et nous la recommandons vivement.

Driving down the lane to Maison Bourriette, you know you are on holiday. The farmhouse, set in lovely grounds with views over the countryside, is charming, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. There are markets, hilltop villages and beautiful country walks on the doorstep to explore and then a wonderful warm pool to really unwind! Evenings relaxing by lamplight in the stunning courtyard with wine and friends - memories are made of this!

Nous sommes venus pour l’anniversaire de ma maman avec le reste de la famille. La maison est très confortable et détendue, nous avons même pu utiliser la cheminée. Nous avons été accueillis par Frédéric et ses magnifiques arrangements floraux. Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique. La piscine était super, beaucoup d’espace dans la maison. Merci beaucoup de partager votre belle maison avec nous.

Nous avons passé des vacances en famille vraiment fantastiques avec nos 6 adultes et 4 enfants dans cette magnifique maison dans cet endroit superbe. La maison est spacieuse, imaginative, accueillante, bien équipée et a tout le nécessaire pour se reposer loin de tout. Nous avons choisi de manger dehors à chaque repas et avons pu profiter au maximum des différentes perspectives et vues qu'offre la maison. Nous avons adoré les matins plus frais en regardant le bétail et la buse, l'ombre des arbres ou le pool house dans la chaleur de la journée et la brise du soir alors que nous regardions les constellations claires au-dessus de nous. Les propriétaires, Richard et Gaye, mesurent exactement le bon équilibre entre convivialité et attention, si besoin tempérée avec discrétion quant à notre intimité. Nous n'avons pas exploré la région autant que nous l'avions prévu car la maison offre tellement de choses et nous espérons vraiment y planifier d'autres vacances dans un proche avenir.
We adore this house - it is our third visit this year! The atmosphere here is so conducive to being happy and relaxed. Les Baquiés are the most agreeable hosts in the world.
