A perfect villa with a perfect property manager. We are six retired Americans who travel together often. The property manager is most responsive we have dealt with. If messaged at a reasonable hour she respond in minutes. Now add to that a wonderful modernised property in a wonderful location and you get what we got, a perfect vacation. The property manager arranged a driver and a cook and both were outstanding. The property has stunning views and easy access to rail, within walking distance of fine restaurants and the privacy all renters seek. If you are visiting the south of France and you want to be a short distance from all things and a short train ride to Cannes and Nice, you cannot do better than this property and you will not find a better property manager. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
We stayed with our 2 children aged 5 and 7 and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of things to do nearby and the accomodation was well equiped and great for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful for long hot afternoons and there is lots of outdoor space to explore. The hosts were very helpful and I would recommend this place to my friends.
This place is fantastic, so much space to explore. the house is very clean and the rooms are big. Château Charente has everything you need. Storage for clothes, fans to keep you cool and big clean beds. The kitchen is very clean and has a big fridge and freezer. Utensils, pots and pans. The oven is top of the range. The owner was very helpful and not intrusive and very friendly. I had a fantastic time here and definitely come again. I would recommend Château Charente to anyone who wants to visit.

From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.
Perhaps the best holiday home we have every stayed in - certainly the most cleverly arranged and incredibly well equipped for every conceivable purpose, practical or recreational. We have been a party of 11, easily accommodated in this delightfully spacious but still homely house and with an age range from 3 months to early 80's; truly something for everyone.
Unique en son genre: Le Mas Pouget a conservé son histoire (pierres, agencement) et propose un aménagement moderne et une décoration originale, recherchée, tout en étant douce et apaisante... Nous avons séjourné avec 4 couples d'amis, et avons bénéficié chacun de beaucoup d'intimité et d'espace. Les chambres sont très grandes, lumineuses, la literie est de très bonne qualité. L'accueil est parfait, nous avons été séduits par les attentions du propriétaire (du jamais vu malgré nos nombreux séjours locatifs)! Enfin, la région est magnifique et offre plein d'activités. Si l'on devait chercher un point négatif?... On n'a pas trouvé. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr.
Domaine exceptionnel, je recommande vivement ! Les chambres sont très confortables, la literie est impeccable et les hôtes sont très accueillants. Si vous cherchez à découvrir la Dordogne, ses grottes, ses châteaux, ses spécialités culinaires (délicieuses !), ou si vous souhaitez simplement vous détendre dans un havre de paix, Le Manoir de la Compagnie est le lieu tout indiqué.
Parfait ! Le cottage est magnifique, avec une attention particulière portée aux détails, et la piscine est incroyable ! C'était charmant et calme, tout en étant proche de tout ce dont nous avions besoin : de nombreux villages et villes historiques avec de superbes marchés et de magnifiques châteaux ! J'y retournerais sans hésiter, des vacances agréables et reposantes.
Le Garden Cottage est exactement comme décrit. Il déborde de charme, de caractère et de bon goût. Il était d'une propreté impeccable. La grande piscine et le patio sont magnifiques, intimes et bien entretenus. Le cottage est très bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied ou en voiture du village de Thonac. Vous y trouverez une bonne pizzeria/bar, un hôtel avec jardin et restaurant intérieur, ainsi qu'une supérette. Deux grands supermarchés, une pharmacie et une station-service sont à seulement cinq minutes en voiture, à Montignac. C'est une charmante petite ville à visiter, où l'on peut acheter des billets pour Lascaux. Le cottage est idéalement situé pour visiter les nombreux sites touristiques de la région et les propriétaires ont fourni une brochure d'information sur les marchés locaux, les événements et les lieux à visiter. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour de quatre semaines et avons trouvé les propriétaires discrets, charmants et serviables. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette propriété aux couples qui recherchent des vacances reposantes et confortables.
Nous venons de rentrer d'un merveilleux séjour de 3 semaines à La Fontaine. Votre propriété est située dans un endroit si magnifique et tranquille et vous l'avez décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons également apprécié que vous fassiez tellement confiance aux personnes qui le louent. De plus, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'aide de Marjorie et Dave pour quelques problèmes mineurs. De toute évidence, nous sommes maintenant soumis aux restrictions de quarantaine du Royaume-Uni, mais nous pensons que c'est un petit prix à payer pour le beau séjour que nous avons passé. Merci beaucoup pour nous avoir donné l'opportunité de séjourner à La Fontaine.

Charming house in the most picturesque hill top village that has been lovingly restored with air con and a pool to help you cool off in the heat. The surrounding area has lots to offer and you can find great food either in the village or in Uzes not too far away.
Great stay! We were 10 and loved our week Le Mas de Combet. Swimming pool, bar, large kitchen, living rooms, bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everything was perfect, clean, in line with the photos and the host was great in their communication and advice. Definitely won over for future reunions with friends. Amazing stay for our 10-people holidays. From the house to the host everything was perfect. Thanks a lot.
We found the villa straightaway and were very pleased with the quality of the accommodation. Jacky was a great guy who made us feel at home and at ease.

What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Thank you Katie for letting us share your French home.
La villa s'est avérée être la maison idéale pour la semaine, car elle cochait de nombreuses cases : un sympathique propriétaire de villa qui parlait bien anglais, à dix minutes à pied de la plage et des restaurants, à cinq minutes à pied de la gare du Cros de Cagnes où vous pouvez prendre le train local pour Cannes en 24 minutes et Nice en 15 minutes - donc pas besoin de vous tracasser avec la location de voiture, un supermarché bien approvisionné à 10 minutes à pied, à distance de marche du bus gratuit jusqu'au magnifique village perché du Haut de Cagnes. Une villa propre et bien meublée, chaque pièce disposant de commandes individuelles pour les réglages de la climatisation... agréable lorsque vous rentrez d'une chaude journée ! De la glace à volonté dans l'immense réfrigérateur et une piscine à la bonne température, de jour comme de nuit.
Qu'est-ce qu'il n'y a pas à aimer dans cet endroit ? Que de bons souvenirs d'un week-end incroyable.

Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.
Once again there are no words that can really explain what a wonderful time we have had and how fantastic the Loft and the grounds are. Your hospitality is more than we could have asked for. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay here permanently as it’s difficult to leave the place! Until the next time ( and yes, there will be a next time ), au revoir - not goodbye.
Fantastique maison spacieuse (en m2 comme en m3) avec un intérieur design bien pensé. Le jardin est un domaine avec vue de chevreuils.
Merveilleux ! Je n'écris presque jamais de critiques - mais c'était merveilleux. Super endroit. Facile d'accès à pied en ville et en même temps très proche de grands sites historiques. Nous avons adoré la décoration et les jardins et la piscine étaient tout simplement magnifiques. Nous reviendrons! Je recommande vivement.
Nous y avons passé un magnifique séjour. La piscine était tout simplement idéale et nous avons facilement organisé des barbecues plusieurs soirs sans aucun problème (ceci venant d'une personne qui n'en a pas l'habitude!). J'ai particulièrement aimé le fait de pouvoir s'installer à divers endroits autour de la maison au fur et à mesure que la journée passait pour rester au soleil ou à l'ombre. La petite ville à 5 minutes en voiture a d'excellents commerces et deux supermarchés pratiques, alors qu'un peu plus loin se trouvent d'excellents restaurants. Bref, un lieu à apprécier et à savourer.
If we could give more than 5 stars we would!! This place was beautiful, everything was pristine, stylish, good quality and the house itself was spacious. Gaëlle and Etienne were incredibly hospitable, lovely people and easy to communicate with. Was such a pleasant stay!
