Absolutely fabulous stay at Maison Richelieu – we will definitely be booking again.
Un séjour extra entre amis (une douzaine avec adultes, ados et enfants) dans un lieu magique... un site naturel de toute beauté, aussi magnifique de jour comme de nuit sous les étoiles ; un Mas superbement rénové, où le cachet des pierres anciennes s'allie avec un grand confort (équipement, literie, salles de bains, cuisine...), de l'espace pour chacun, des chambres immenses et une décoration soignée plus qu'originale, chaque objet chaque meuble est choisi avec beaucoup d'esprit et suscite curiosité. Chacun y a trouvé son intimité et activité du jour (pique-nique au bord de la rivière, shopping à Anduze très pittoresque, lecture au bord de la piscine, promenade cévenole... et même révisions du Bac dans un calme propice !). Une préparation du lieu par les propriétaires et des attentions pour notre arrivée très appréciables. A l'année prochaine c'est sûr... On voudrait bien dormir dans toutes les chambres !
We have had a wonderful relaxed and fun week here at Le Manoir de Duras. It has felt like a home from home. All the practical equipment to making things smooth and lots of games and books to enjoy as the days go by. Thank you to the owners for a lovely family week. A real holiday.
Nous avons passé deux semaines ici l'été dernier avec 4 adultes et un enfant. Le logement est excellent et la maison bien climatisée. La climatisation était très importante pour nous car nous y sommes habitués pendant les étés chauds et cela apporte une réelle grande différence. La piscine et l'emplacement sont très isolés et très propres avec un service de nettoyage piscine inclus. Nous avons adoré la terrasse extérieure et avons passé chaque soir à regarder les étoiles, les cafés du matin étaient également appréciés tous les jours. Intérieur charmant et cuisine équipée. Nous sommes impatients de revenir ici avec nos amis du Royaume-Uni qui sont heureux de nous rejoindre à nouveau. Un délicieux séjour, une courte promenade jusqu'au village chaque jour pour le pain et les marchés du vendredi sont importants pour nous. Vous devriez séjourner ici si vous en avez l'occasion: nous avons séjourné ailleurs et c'est ici le meilleur endroit. Oh... le Wi-Fi fonctionne et est toujours essentiel pour nous partout où nous voyageons dans le monde.
Château et nourriture exquises, nous n'aurions pas pu demander plus! Merci à Matthieu. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir !!
Nous avons passé une semaine fabuleuse avec la famille et les amis - nous avons tous séjourné sous le même toit, dans cette grande maison de campagne confortable et traditionnelle, située au milieu d'hectares de tournesols ! Quelle semaine - une semaine de détente à la maison et avec de nombreuses aventures dans les environs : des marchés et festivals locaux, à la dégustation de cognac, aux longues courses et aux promenades le long de belles routes de campagne. À seulement 45 minutes de Toulouse, un tout autre monde, ce sont des vacances que nous espérons renouveler dans les années à venir !
Merci de partager votre belle maison Charvin et votre jardin. Nous avons passé notre temps à grimper dans des châteaux médiévaux, à faire du vélo le long du Canal du Midi et à faire du rafting dans l'Aude ! Chaque jour, nous avons commencé par nous promener dans le charmant village avant de partir à l'aventure. Si vous avez des enfants, il y a un très bon terrain de football près du club de rugby. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le concert d'Abyss lors de notre première nuit ici. Des vacances merveilleuses!
We stayed in this amazing house for a couple of weeks - 4 couples, with kids left home! The place is really hard to describe because it is so much more than we expected. Also the photos don't quite do it justice (especially the outdoors pics). It is a huge house, with several levels. All the bedrooms bar one are on one upper floor. The other bedroom (that we stayed in) is accessible on the side of the building and has a lovely little terrace with a small table and chairs. Perfect for taking in the sun or simply relaxing. I did do a bit of work there. On the lower level is the huge kitchen, big dining area with a really cool table that makes entertaining fun and loads of interesting living areas each individual and stylishly decorated. All in all it is a big place where it is easy to spend time with friends and be sociable, or retreat to one of the cosy, quirky but fantastic living spaces for me-time. We weren't quite sure what we would do there for 2 weeks as it seemed a little remote, but it is SO relaxing and welcoming we spent the first week just staying put and enjoying it. The swimming pool is great and I did my lengths every morning. The area just beyond the pool is great in the evening for a drink (or many more). The bedrooms are really special. Big and very well appointed. Comfortable beds and interesting bathrooms (ours had a built-in bath). The owner Fred is super friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed by him and his partner and to our surprise the fridge was filled with local produce and there was also some wine and fresh bread left for us! Great surprise and even better after the long drive down! For shopping we went to the closest town and there were 2 large supermarkets there as well as the usual bakeries/butchers etc. The area is very beautiful. The mountains are stunning and we found some really lovely villages to explore. We had a great dinner one night in Sauve. Really cute village well worth exploring. We ate on a square high up overlooking the river below. I could go on and on. The place has so much charm and is so well appointed, we could have stayed for longer. We have amazing memories and special thanks to Fred for having created this small piece of paradise.
Geoff et Jackie, merci pour cette belle semaine passée dans votre belle maison, si chaleureuse et accueillante. Belle ville, nous n'avons pas exploré plus loin car nous voulions juste profiter de la piscine et nous détendre.

As you know we have stayed in your house twice. It really is an exceptional property and in terms of facilities, location and aesthetic qualities we could not fault it. The views are fantastic, the pool is perfect and the house itself brimming with character – not to mention that every lamp works, as do the showers and all utensils.
We have had an amazing time in this wonderful house. We even had a home for our much loved cars. Many thanks to Mike and Natalie for looking after us so well. I am sure we will return!
What a magic place! We have loved every minute here. Pete is the most incredible host and we loved our evening chats. The kayaking has been the highlight, we loved Sarlat - Had a great lunch at Lou Podel and not forgetting the disco pool lights after dark. The kids loved it! We'll be back.
I very warmly recommend Monpazier Cottages: absolute calm in the beautiful Dordogne countryside and very friendly hosts, with professionalism, great availability and an absolutely charming British charm.
We have had a brilliant stay - The villa is fantastic- kids have spent house in the pool and learning to play pool. Everyone has enjoyed it so much it feels a real wrench to leave. Hope we can visit again some time.
Que puis-je dire d'autre si ce n'est que ce furent une belle maison et un bel endroit pour nos vacances; à retenir!
Just wanted to say we had a great time at Manoir de Rouiffillac and that Darryl was particularly brilliant and helpful to us.
Notre hôte nous a accueillis à notre arrivée et nous a non seulement fait visiter l'appartement mais également l'ensemble du bâtiment et ses environs. L'appartement était impeccable, beau design moderne avec toutes les commodités et si proche de la plage. Plus important encore pour nous, il peut accueillir un jeune bébé avec une chaise haute, un lit bébé, une baignoire pour bébé et même des jouets de bain. Enfin l'emplacement est idéal si vous souhaitez découvrir la Côte d'Azur. Nous avons fait des excursions d'une journée dans notre voiture de location tant à l'Est que vers l'Ouest depuis cet appartement, notamment Eze, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, St Paul de Vence, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Menton, Monte Carlo et Cap Ferrat. Merci de nous offrir des vacances parfaites.
J'y suis allé avec ma femme ce weekend, le décor est fou et l'emplacement parfait pour se reposer. Un coin de nature paisible que je recommande à tous les vacanciers qui recherchent une villa soignée qui permet tout loisir.
Beautiful château with all amenities. Ann was extremely helpful with organising taxis, wine tours and any concerns. Very efficient in organising a new barbecue. Thank you for helping us have a fantastic holiday.

Nous ne pouvions rêver mieux, une maison merveilleuse et un emplacement magnifique pour de très belles vacances. Vous avez été des hôtes parfaits. Nous avons adoré nos balades au petit matin dans la campagne - le décor idéal pour nos fiançailles.
I loved being here for two weeks and being able to use the pool nearly everyday! I haven’t swum recently so it was a great chance to practice. I enjoyed spending time with you and my family in the sun. I hope I can see you soon.
Nous avons espéré que l'embarras du choix du portefeuille de Pure France nous procure un lieu magique et vous n'avez pas failli. Nous aurions du mal à dire ce que nous avons le plus aimé - Ce n'est pas une maison de vacances, c'est une maison très appréciée et équipée et nous avons adoré la distinction. Un sans faute à tous les niveaux et précisément le remontant qu'il nous fallait. Merci pour un si bon service. On ne saurait davantage féliciter Pure France ou la Maison Charvin.
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, it was the perfect place to spend our 30th anniversary! The views are amazing, village charming and the pool well used. Thank you also for the cold meats, cheeses and wine on our arrival, a really welcoming touch. We would definitely recommend a day kayaking to Pont du Gard, a really good way to spend the day, hats, suncream and picnic a must. Again, a very big thank you, we would love to return one day.
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel at home with brilliant accommodation including a lovely pool and Martyn and Jean looked after us giving suggestion of places to visit. The area was brilliant with lots to see and many restaurants within a ten minute drive plus one restaurant, bakers butchers and general store all within walking distance. A special thank you to Ombre for keeping our football skills on song. I would thoroughly recommend.
We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in L'Oliveraie. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years....and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Merci beaucoup.
A wonderful place for a family holiday. The house is perfectly stocked; really no want for anything. You have thought of it all, extra bits in the kitchen, games, great chairs by the pool. We loved every minute!
