Villa magnifique, très propre, spacieuse ! Hôte très rèactive et gentille. Endroit parfait pour se retrouver à plusieurs pour des événements personnels comme professionnels.
Merci à Olivia pour son accueil chaleureux ! La maison est incroyable : spacieuse, baignée de lumière et meublée avec goût. Avec une vue magnifique sur les collines environnantes et le coin piscine en contrebas, elle offre un véritable havre de paix où il fait bon vivre et se reposer. Bref, j'ai adoré!!!
We had a lovely time in a beautifully converted villa. So much space for relaxing and the kids to roam free at the table tennis out building or down by the pool. We booked Château Velouse as we love the Loire region. Definitely not disappointed... the welcome from the hosts Claire and Phil was lovely, the rooms were huge in size and height, great ensuites, it can hold 16 adults plus 4 children. Loads of space in the extensive grounds which are walled and fenced, we felt very secure and great for children and our dog to explore. The large swimming pool was fantastic and spent a lot of time there lounging on luxury sun beds under the umbrellas (30C plus during our stay). We had some wonderful evening meals during our stay either outside patio area which seated us all with lovely lighting or inside in the huge dining room. As a group of family and friends we took turns to cook which was great fun and the kitchen is very well equipped to cater for a large group. We had trips out to Bourges, Sancerre and a day on a local golf course, all recommended
Nous avons passé un week-end merveilleux dans un endroit magnifique. Le château est extrêmement confortable , très bien restauré avec des chambres spacieuses et décorées avec goût jusqu’au moindre détail. L’accueil est chaleureux et tout est pensé pour un séjour parfait. Nous étions 14 personnes.
Très belle villa idéalement placé à Monségur. Très spacieuse j'y ai passé une merveilleuse semaine avec des amis. Je recommande vivement !
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La propriété était joliment meublée et équipée et a dépassé nos attentes. Nous la recommanderions à tout le monde!
Nous avons passé de fantastiques vacances en famille, tout le monde a adoré la piscine / le court de tennis, les barbecues et les ballades dans les villages locaux. Nous sommes venus l'année dernière et nous réserverons certainement à nouveau.
Quelles vacances incroyables ! Le Pigat était magnifique et très bien équipé avec des petites attentions particulières, ce qui a rendu notre séjour spécial. La livraison de pain était un délice absolu. Beaucoup de souvenirs précieux au bord de la piscine et nous avons même trouvé la grotte ! Visites également à Bergerac, Périgueux, Monbazillac, Mouleydier, Issigeac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme, Château de Bridoire, Saint-Émilion et Brantôme. Sans oublier Eymet et Trémolat. Tous de beaux endroits qui méritent une visite. De nombreux restaurants en particulier aussi. Certains rustiques, certains gastronomiques. Cela va nous manquer d'être au chaud, au bord de la piscine et dans un cadre magnifique. Merci beaucoup.
Steven and Bruce have a fantastic place and they really went the extra mile to make our stay totally enjoyable. We've been staying at places in France for 20 or so years and we always come back fairly pleased, but perhaps with one or two thoughts about how something or other could have been better, but I think this is the first time we've come back and been unable to think of anything that was less than perfect.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay. I loved the pool and the nature – Pete Mantis was cool. Swimming was great fun. I would like to come back.
C'est une maison magnifique, avec un jardin exceptionnel. Nous avons passé un moment incroyable à profiter de la piscine, des bains de soleil et des jeux (pétanque et ping-pong). J'ai vraiment apprécié de visiter la magnifique Brantôme, plus jolie et plus pittoresque que Périgueux. Je suis tombé sur un charmant restaurant à proximité de Mareuil. Restaurant La Belle - très accueillant, cuisine délicieuse et rapport qualité-prix fantastique. Dans l'ensemble, notre séjour ici a été merveilleux - nous avons adoré!

Beautiful and charming villa surrounded by greenery with pool and view. A really great villa in a nice area. The view with Cannes in the distance is very nice. The villa has five bedrooms, each with its own modern bathroom and toilet. Great is also the terrace with a large table and chairs and a gas barbecue. The accommodation is on two floors and therefore also has two living rooms, each with a fireplace. The garden and the heated pool complete the whole very nicely. The kitchen with two fridges, stove, microwave and dishwasher has nothing to miss. Everything was available on crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, cups and glasses in sufficient quantity. A carport, too. A very big plus is the hostess and her caretaker. Both are very friendly and helpful. Communication has also worked wonderfully. I would also like to thank you here for the absolute kindness to bring a delicious birthday cake to my mother. Very thoughtful.
This was our second stay at The Garden Cottage and it certainly not be our last. Caterina and Steven are perfect host who were wonderful company when the time was appropriate but gave us full privacy at all other time. To be honest, they were both like good neighbours and made us feel as if we were at home. We could speak too highly of the region, the cottage or of Cat and Steve. Thanks for a lovely week.
Pure France clients - We have had an amazing two weeks here in this lovely home. We have enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved kayaking and using a pedalo on the River Lot. We have made really good use of the pool and the secret garden. Thank you so much Alan and Madeline for all your kindness and consideration - and especially taking us on that lovely walk. We had a great time exploring the markets at Bergerac, Riberac, Périgueux and Saint-Astier. We enjoyed the sunshine win the terrace with a glass of wine and a good book. Perfect.
We have had such a wonderful week here in this amazing château. Such a wonderful setting and it is so well equipped. The kids LOVE the huge pool especially the diving board. We would love to come back and stay here again. Thank you.
A hidden gem in France, a great place to slow down! The rolling hills, amazing pool and views to die for. Perfect.
Over the years we have stayed in around twenty different houses all over France - most were good, one or two were very good. But then there is the special one - this year. This house didn't feel like a house; it felt like home from the moment we walked through the door, after a long and tiring drive (and, bless you, there was bottle of ready chilled local wine ready and waiting for us). 'Welcome to your home' it said. The layout, décor and furnishings are delightful; and the luxury of each bedroom having its own bathroom topped it off. We had friends who came to stay for a while and they shared our thoughts. One couple even came back for a second visit on their way home. And then there is the garden – warm, private, shaded when you want it and serene. And yes, the pool is fabulous – it's a proper size. But wait until you see the garden at night, when you have your barbecue and the garden and pool lights come into play... makes the local rose taste even more morish. And then there is Pézenas - ten minutes walk away through a vineyard. And you won't go hungry there. Wonderful town. Only one regret – we couldn't parcel it up and take it home. It is, truly, an oasis.
Quick note to express our gratitude for the hire of your property. What a wonderful time somebody had restoring this place to what it is today. We had a superb family celebration for our ruby wedding and explored the Drome and Ardeche localities. Many thanks.

Just wanted to say what a great three weeks we’ve had at Le Grand Verger. The house is superb… we are looking at a repeat holiday, returning next year Once again, an outstanding holiday in outstanding surroundings, thank you!
La villa était absolument magnifique et située dans un endroit calme comme mentionné dans la description (le seul bruit étant les grillons mais c'était apaisant). L'aménagement de la maison en 3 bâtiments séparés a vraiment fonctionné pour notre groupe familial élargi, en plus de différentes zones dans le jardin dans lesquelles vous pouvez vous asseoir qui permettent aux gens d'avoir un moment de calme si nécessaire. Je recommanderais les restaurants du village, mais sachez qu'ils n'ouvrent pas le lundi. Un séjour très agréable et reposant.
