Les Fumerates is a stylish and comfortable home-away-from-home in the South of France. It's a great base from which to explore the delightful village of Saint Paul De Vence, but most of your stay here should be spent unwinding by the villa's fabulous (and heated!) swimming pool with a good book and soaking up the panoramic views. Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing trip with your nearest and dearest.

Have returned to Les Fumerates for five consecutive years and always have the most wonderful time here. Les Fumerates is stunningly beautiful and the setting is unmatched. The infinity pool and the views across to the sea are incredible. Great location - very peaceful, but close to St Paul de Vence. Always leave feeling very relaxed and refreshed. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We recently enjoyed a very memorable and enjoyable stay. This luxurious property was comfortable, well presented and very clean. The views from the property are exceptional and the horizon swimming pool is everybody's dream. The location provides good access to Saint Paul de Vence and to the surrounding region and thus is a great location to base yourself and to see the local features.

Who would have guessed you could have daily swims in April? This fabulous pool really was the star. The apartment is well equipped and immaculately clean. The village is a comfortable walk away and there's an excellent ELeclerc grocery that's a short drive. (You will need a car if you intend to go anywhere once you've arrived. Get a small non-electric one.) We've already booked our next stay.

A luxurious spot with the most beautiful heated pool and views to the Mediterranean. The pool and its view absolutely makes this property. It is absolutely spotless, heated to a perfect 30 degrees and is an infinity pool which adds to the luxurious feel. There is a diving board and a fun water slide and there are foam pool loungers available too. The terrace is also beautiful with plenty of sunbeds and seating and a table for meals. Inside the property is spacious with some interesting antiques and the bedrooms are air conditioned, which is lovely even though there is plenty of shade on hot days anyway. The car can be parked right next to the villa for ease of carrying luggage and supermarket shopping etc. All in all Les Fumerates feels like a slice of paradise, peaceful and calm and difficult to tear yourself away from despite the easy proximity of the coast. The pool is the star attraction, always lovely to swim in even in late evening and with a slide, diving board and floating loungers if wanted. The terrace and pool are lit at night and the calm, luxurious atmosphere makes it almost impossible to leave despite its proximity to some lovely places to visit!

We loved everything, the location, the spectacular views, incredible pool and extremely comfortable beds! The whole place was immaculately presented and you made us very welcome! We certainly appreciated the bottle on arrival after the journey we had had!

Words fall short to paint a suitable picture of this delightful place. A most luxurious apartment in an extremely desirable location on the French Riviera. The apartment has all the amenities that one could wish for and the owners are superb - helpful, accommodating and simply nice people. The pool is fantastic and should you wish to discover the area - well - the location is perfect. We had a great stay at the villa and it is, as of now, our place of choice when vacationing in the South of France.

Wonderful. Just got back from a fabulous stay at this villa. We were the first guests post corona shutdown and I was worried we were not going to be able to fly but Michael was great and reassuring that we would have a full refund if that happened. Really good contact throughout. The pool is just stunning and we spent many hours enjoying the water, especially as we filled it up with inflatables! The villa is clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Air conditioning meant for a great nights sleep. Very hospitable hosts and all in all a lovely place to relax in. Big supermarket only 15 minutess drive away so we could stock up easily. We would stay here again.

To be able to walk straight from the house into the pool and not have to brace yourself for the water temperature was fantastic! Pool was 28°c - 30°c in October! We were very happy with everything at Les Fumerates. Beds and bedclothes were really comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. The owners were very nice and helpful. Location is good to explore French Riviera. I would recommend to have a car to make that much easier. The most important thing for us (with two kids) were the warm pool with nice view. The pool was big, clean and really warm. On our six day stay in October the temperature of the pool was 28°c - 30°c! Day and night, such a pleasure. You have a amazing place, thank you very much for sharing it with others too.

Such an amazing experience! We had an amazing experience at Les Fumerates. The place is sparkling clean, amenities top notch and the view from the infinity pool is beautiful. We were a bit tired when we arrived the first day and ended up spending the evening at the villa, having a couple of drinks in the garden, overlooking the pool and it was such an amazing experience. The hosts have put in a lot of thought in the arrangements and it shows. We highly recommend.

We dined at the apartment in the evening as we didn't want to leave! We have just returned from a few days at the luxury pool apartment. The heated pool with the view is amazing. The house is well equipped and we dined at the apartment in the evening as we didn't want to leave. The host lives upstairs and was very helpful, collecting us from the bottom of the hill with shopping bags! We used Uber taxis to travel into Nice and to the airport which worked well.

Wonderful villa, beautiful pool and perfect location! We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Les Fumerates. We had a lovely warm welcome from Michael and Denise and the attention to detail in the property was faultless with soap, shower gels, coffee pods and more provided, made even better with comfy beds, air conditioning and immaculate presentation. We loved the character of the property and it's suberb layout. The fantastic infinity pool lent itself to some lovely memories sitting on the terrace for a meal or drink and then dipping into the gorgeous water and looking out at the amazing views. We also had fun on the slide and diving board and relaxation floating on the comfy pool loungers. Les Fumerates is ideally placed to visit places such as Nice, taking the bus from the end of the road worked perfectly as well as being only 15 minutes drive from the airport! We also visited Monaco, Antibes, Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud but one of the highlights was the short walk to the magical village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence for a drink and a meal. We have enjoyed one of our best holidays yet and will definitely be back!

Les Fumerates encompasses everything you dream about for a vacation on the Côte d'Azur.
We were met by Michael and his wife who gave us a full tour of Les Fumerates. We unpacked and got to soak in the beauty of the place.
From the moment we stepped in, we could tell that much love and care had been put into their home, down to the smallest of details.
The location, absolutely perfect - next to one of the most beautiful hill towns in Southern France: Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Lovely place to explore and have an al fresco dinner. Don't miss Restaurant Le Tilleul and La Colombe d'Or. But also don't miss the chance of cooking your own dinner and eating al fresco at the villa. The view of the pool area, city and the azure sea in the distance all add to the dining experience!
Les Fumerates is located in a perfect spot - away from the hustle and bustle of Nice, Cannes and Monte Carlo and yet easily accessible to these locations (truly). A supermarket, boulangerie and great shopping mall are all a short drive down the hill.
We took the opportunity to see as much as we could see and as many places as we could see - yes, I need a vacation from my vacation! During France's heatwave, we were happy to return to the villa which had air conditioning in the main living area and all of the bedrooms. We also made good use of the gorgeous swimming pool.
Reluctantly, we had to leave Les Fumerates and continue our journey to Provence. Without a doubt, we would like to return - but next time at a more leisurely pace! Depending on your itinerary for visiting the French Riviera, as there are so many places to see (we didn't even make it to Italy), I would urge you to consider 2 weeks at Les Fumerates. You won't regret it!
Truly a memorable experience that will last a lifetime!

The pool is really heated! Many pools in the south of France 'suggest' they are heated. However, Les Fumerates' pool - which is huge - actually is heated! In fact when we arrived the pools temp was 29C (86F)! After unpacking we took an early evening swim followed by an early morning swim... You get the idea... Like the picture suggests the views here are amazing. We had the downstairs apartment which was perfect. Two sets of French doors lead you to the pool, there are retractable awnings to shade you while having breakfast. The master bedroom is very large with a king size bed and a queen size bed which is great for unpacking or sitting on etc. There's a second bedroom and a breakfast / TV room. The kitchen was spotless with a view over the pool. A/C worked well (very important from mid June until end of August). Also there are 2 bathrooms (very handy). All in all highly recommended.

Perfect villa, lovely hosts and amazing view. Wow, this villa is just perfect in every way! It's beautiful, peaceful, clean and is very close to Saint-Paul-de-Vence which is gorgeous. The owners were so lovely to us, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The whole week felt so luxurious and comfortable and the pool was devine! We will almost definitely be returning here as we had a fantastic week. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt so relaxed and cared for! In a word - spectacular.
Where does one even begin in describing what a wonderful home. In a word - spectacular! We have stayed in approximately 40 homes over the years and few have even come close to the level of excellence we experienced. The house is beautiful inside and out and no detail has been overlooked. The beds are very comfortable and the linens and towels are lovely. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare all your meals. The patio, gardens and pool are tranquil and relaxing. As far as cleanliness, the home is absolutely spotless. The pictures are very true to the location but what they lack is the warmth and kindness you will be greeted with when you meet the owners. We highly recommend.

Les Fumerates is fantastic. Near to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, it is particularly well located (30 minutes to Nice or Grasse by car, 20 minutes walk to Saint-Paul, etc.) and offers such an amazing landscape! Just imagine being in the pool with a view over the sea... For those who are willing to come when the weather is a little cold please note that when we were there the pool was 27 degrees (in April) Highly recommending the place, definitely.

The kids swam every day - in March and April! The outdoor living here was spectacular, with a gorgeous pool, view and special light all day. The house has many luxurious touches, with original art, silk drapes, handmade 'real' rugs, crisp sheets and instantly hot water. The hosts were generous and exceptionally hospitable. You can live out your fantasy of having access to your wealthy aunt and uncle's house in the South of France. The owners were upstairs and we found them affable and in good humour the entire week. We enjoyed having a car there and we were given a remote for the electric gate at the end of the driveway. We would love to return.
