Introduction

Set in the hills in the Côte d’Azur hinterland, Villa Lunetta is spread across two spacious floors, with four bedrooms (two master suites and two guest rooms) and three bath or shower rooms. Outside you'll find nearly 1,800 sqm of gardens with olive trees that are well over three hundred years old.

The stone floors throughout help keep the villa cool and welcoming. The master and first guest rooms also have magnificent far-reaching views towards the sea. There are five separate terrace areas and an outside eating area overlooking the pool and the sea. In addition to a heated pool, there is an outside shower room adjacent to the pool, as well as two comfortable eating areas.

This is a superb setting for experiencing the charm of pretty villages and market towns whilst also being just half an hour from the allure of the French Riviera and its stunning beaches. Pick up your morning croissants from Châteauneuf-Grasse just 2km away or head to the historic Valbonne or Grasse on market day to soak up the Provençal ambience and pick up a wealth of delicious seasonal delights.

Embrace the beauty of nearby Opio, famed for its historic olive oil production, dine out in the gastronomic restaurants of Picasso’s beloved Mougins or spend the day by the beach in Cannes or Juan-les-Pins whether you wish to relax in the sun, partake in watersports or simply experience the glamour and vibrancy of the glistening Côte d’Azur.

Rental Rates

• Security Deposit: £1275 charged paid to the owner 1-2 weeks before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
• Prices are for the rental of the entire property, payable in GBP.
• 35% deposit due at the time of booking. 65% balance due 12 weeks prior to arrival.
• Bookings run from 4:00pm on your day of arrival to 10:00am on your day of departure.
• No smoking in the property.
• Bookings include electricity, water, linen, towels and pool towels (not beach towels).

Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Location

Around half an hour by car from Nice Airport, Villa Lunetta enjoys a great location in the rolling hills above the Côte d’Azur. Set on a fairly steep hillside with sweeping views, in a partially residential area, you are just 2km from the handy amenities of Châteauneuf-Grasse including a boulangerie and a small handful of places to eat.

Also close by, wander through the picturesque village of Opio (2km), where olive groves stretch as far as the eye can see, and sample the region’s renowned olive oil. Just a little further, the vibrant market town of Valbonne (6.5km) invites you to explore its quaint cobbled streets, lively squares, and exquisite dining spots - a haven for lovers of fine food and authentic Provençal atmosphere. Don’t miss the historic market taking place on a Friday morning.

Immerse yourself in the world of fragrance in Grasse (6km), the perfume capital of the world. Visit the historic perfumeries of Fragonard, Galimard, or Molinard, where centuries-old techniques bring exquisite scents to life. Then, venture into the breathtaking French Riviera hinterland, where outdoor enthusiasts can hike through scenic trails, cycle past fragrant lavender fields, or explore hidden waterfalls. The Region

Fall in love with Grasse and its surrounding villages as you experience the Côte d’Azur hinterland staying in one of our handpicked villa rentals in and around Grasse. Pass lavender, jasmine, roses and flower farms as you drive into the hills of the Provence-Alpes-Maritime – no wonder Grasse is known as the ‘perfume capital of France’.

As well as the Museé International de la Parfumerie, visit the perfume houses of Galimard, Molinard and Fragonard for guided tours and even perfume-making workshops. Elsewhere, explore the historic winding lanes and come across artisan shops, café terraces and the impressive Rubens frescoes inside Cathédrale Notre-Dame du Puy de Grasse. There’s a lovely daily flower market at Place aux Aires whilst Place aux Herbes hosts the larger twice-weekly market on a Wednesday and Saturday morning.

A short drive from Grasse, encounter a wealth of picture-perfect villages and beautiful landscapes for walking, hiking, horse-riding and cycling. The perched village of Cabris is especially bucolic with incredible vistas over the Tanneron forest and Lac de Saint-Cassien. There are more glorious views from the small village of Spéracèdes with its pastel-coloured houses and olive trees.

Discover century-old hiking trails through the Siagne valley as well as pretty villages, ancient bridges and idyllic swimming spots. Visit the illuminated caves of stalagmites and stalactites just outside Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne before pottering around the authentic village admiring its fountains, café terraces and inviting food shops showcasing goats cheese, honey, olive oil and other products of the region.

South of Grasse, drive to the charming hilltop village of Opio, also famed for its olive oil, and don’t miss the Friday morning market in Valbonne, a very charming town dating back to the 16th century, home to a wonderful town square with pavement cafes and restaurants.

Golf lovers have a great choice of courses in the region including Golf du Claux Amic, once a 17th century hunting estate with stunning views and Golf Grande Bastide just south of Opio as well as prestigious courses close to Mougins and Cannes. As well as endless hiking trails across Grasse’s surroundings, other activities include a range of land and water-based activities in and around Lac de Saint-Cassien, only 15km from Grasse, as well as tree-top adventures and zip-lines with French Riviera views at Riviera Nature just north of the town.
