Traditional French château with a stunning pool in the Charente, close to the Dordogne in South West France.

The property is situated in the heart of a small village with all amenities, 15 minutes from Angoulême.

All the rooms have their particular ambience and most have recently been decorated by hand and refurbished with a contemporary touch. Attention to detail includes good quality beds as well as period and vintage furniture.

Security Deposit: €1000 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection. A higher security deposit may apply for any events or parties (please enquire).
Prices are for the rental of the entire property, payable in GBP.
35% deposit due at the time of booking. 65% balance and refundable security bond due 12 weeks prior to arrival.
Bookings run from 5:00pm on your day of arrival to 10:00am on your day of departure.
No smoking in the property.
Bookings include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach / pool towels).

Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Location

The château is situated in the small village of Sers, 15 minutes from Angoulème and on the edge of the Dordogne region of South West France.

The château is attached to the 11th century church and at the heart of a busy village with café, bars, boulangerie, butcher and grocery shop. Close to the lively and picturesque town of Angoulême.

With the Dordogne and Vienne areas neighbouring this region, it's a perfect base for discovering the beautiful countryside, heritage attractions such as Renaissance châteaux like the famous Château de la Rochefoucauld, Romanesque churches and a variety of arts events and activities.

In the local area, other activities include: the village leisure park for playing boules; a 9-hole golf course (with restaurant, bar and shop) and paintball at one of the biggest centres in France at Garat; horse riding for families at Pranzac; free tennis court and football pitch in the neighbouring village of Bouex.
