Thank you for such an amazing holiday. It's been so peaceful and relaxing. We've loved your beautiful houser, grounds and pool. It's a really special place. We had a lovely day out in Bergerac a we swam at Lac de Pombonne which was lovely - just a few minutes drive away. We also had a nice evening in Périgueux. Mostly though we just enjoyed relaxing on the terrace by the pool! Thanks so much we hope to return.

We were able to benefit from their advice on activities and attractions nearby. The swimming pool is a plus. The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.

A very beautiful house and property. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and are British so they speak both French and English which is a plus.
Since the guest house is located to the side of the main house, you will also have privacy whenever you want.
The guest house is wonderfully decorated in a typical French/British style. A large kitchen, a large bedroom with very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with bath and shower. You have your own terrace where you can start the day with breakfast and a breathtaking view of the garden and the horses :)
The host gave us advice and also brought us into the forest where we had a night cap. They helped us find a gig and also lent us their grill and let us use the washing machine.
We highly recommend and would love to return. Thanks.
