Location

The property is located in secluded vineyards just outside Pézenas, 25 minutes from the Mediterranean coast.

The beautiful town of Pézenas is a 10 minutes walk through the vineyards.

Pézenas prides itself on its past; reflected in its fascinating winding streets and period architecture. Often called the 'Versailles' of the Languedoc, summer visitors are treated to a feast of festivals, costume dramas, concerts and exhibitions.

Alternatively, take your pick from the numerous pavement cafés and watch the world drift slowly by before retiring to any one of the dozens of excellent, traditional restaurants. 4 supermarkets to choose from.

Don't miss the famous Saturday market that spills into the streets from daybreak and lasts all day. Discover the many artisan shops in the old quarter and the kilometer-long stretch of antique and bric-a-brac (brocante) stores.

Sunny, sandy Mediterranean beaches lie just 12 miles South of Pézenas. Beachfront cafés, seafood restaurants and all the glamour and glitz of summer in the South of France.

Marseillan Plage and Sérignan Plage for the quieter beaches, Cap d'Agde for all the entertainments, shopping and activities. Here you'll find golf, huge water park, 'Aqualand' (for both children and adults), water sports, boat trips, further restaurants and the Marine Aquarium.

Béziers and Montpellier offer excellent shopping and hypermarkets. Béziers has possibly the best flower market (Fridays) on the Mediterranean coast.

Discover the ocean of vineyards for superb wine-tasting or discover more about the famous Southern French aperitif 'pastis' at the Paul Ricard plant in Bessan. Alternatively, the Noilly Prat museum and guided tour of the factory is in Marseillan.

Superb hiking just miles from Pézenas on the Mourgettes footpath, or take a picnic to Lake Salagou for wonderful fresh-water swimming and water sports.

The Gorges d'Héric in the Languedoc Regional Park offers astounding scenery that will make you forget you are so close to the Mediterranean coast. Head East and don't miss the Pont du Gard on a day trip to Provence; Avignon, Arles and the pink flamingos and white horses in the Camargue. Head West to experience the giant and imposing fortified city of Carcassonne. Alternatively, the beautiful Côte Vermeille and its charming beaches in the shadow of the Pyrénées.

The Spanish border lies just 90 minutes from Pézenas, spend a long weekend in Barcelona (2 hours 30 minutes).

M Reid and family
We had a brilliant family holiday at Mas de Lozanne in June 2022, The house and pool were perfect for 6 adults and a baby; a very quiet location but still a short walk into the beautiful town of Pezenas. We plan to return in 2025.

P and F Mullin
We have absolutely loved our stay here. The house, the pool, the garden, the position and the privacy are all spot on.
Lisa and Wayne have been great - helpful and discreet at the same time.
Many thanks and look forward to a future visit.

C Jones and family
We’ve just returned from our third visit to Mas de Lozanne and if anything, the property is better than ever!
There have been various improvements made - the addition of a wine fridge, sofas at the side of the pool, a better pool alarm - to name a few. We also noticed how much the trees and shrubs have grown, making very attractive shady areas in the garden - much needed as the temperature did not drop below 34 degrees!
All in all, a wonderful stay in this lovely property. Lisa looked after us well and answered any questions we had.
Highly recommended!

Very easy decision to come back again next year, after spending a great couple of weeks here. Mas de Lozanne has an excellent outdoor area – large pool, a terrace that's in the shade all day, 2 hammocks and ample space for table tennis and badminton. All the facilities work well, inc the Wi-Fi and especially the air conditioning which is not only very effective but remarkably quiet. Plus Ina and Dominic (both English speakers) are only a text away to come and help if something goes wrong. The house itself is classic, roomy French farmhouse equipped with all mod cons – comfy lounge with all the British freeview channels, high ceilings and picture postcard views from the bedroom windows. And on top of all that is its brilliant location – there's a 10 minute leisurely walk through a vineyard into the beautiful old historic town of Pézenas.

We have enjoyed every moment of our holiday here. We wanted to get away from our busy lives in London…and we did! Lounging by the pool or in hammocks, followed by evenings with delicious BBQs. Pézenas is a sweet little town with great places to eat and shop. Visit the market on Saturday for an explosion of the senses! We can't wait wait to return next summer.

Lovely stay, house in great location. Enjoyed Palm Beach Club at Les Vagues. Altogether a great week.

C Jones, UK
Our family stayed at the Mas de Lozanne for two weeks and it was a resounding success with us all. The property was exactly as described in the details and photographs - light airy rooms, a beautiful garden and one of the best pools I've ever seen in a private house. The air conditioning was very welcome as we were there in a heatwave!
Dom and Ina looked after us very well and answered all our queries. Pèzenas is a lovely little place and we certainly hope to return.
I had never heard of Pure France before coming across them on the net and it's always a slightly scary thing to send several thousand Euros 'into the ether' in this age of Internet scams. However I need not have worried as this agency was extremely efficient and straightforward in all our dealings, answering my queries by return. I would like to thank them and would certainly recommend them.

Christian family
Over the years we have stayed in around twenty different houses all over France - most were good, one or two were very good. But then there is the special one - this year. This house didn't feel like a house; it felt like home from the moment we walked through the door, after a long and tiring drive (and, bless you, there was bottle of ready chilled local wine ready and waiting for us). 'Welcome to your home' it said. The layout, décor and furnishings are delightful; and the luxury of each bedroom having its own bathroom topped it off. We had friends who came to stay for a while and they shared our thoughts. One couple even came back for a second visit on their way home. And then there is the garden – warm, private, shaded when you want it and serene. And yes, the pool is fabulous – it's a proper size. But wait until you see the garden at night, when you have your barbecue and the garden and pool lights come into play... makes the local rose taste even more morish. And then there is Pézenas - ten minutes walk away through a vineyard. And you won't go hungry there. Wonderful town. Only one regret – we couldn't parcel it up and take it home. It is, truly, an oasis.

Munroe family
Thanks for a truly wonderful week. The house, garden and pool are really fabulous. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and didn't do as much exploring as we should have done as we couldn't tear ourselves away from the garden / pool. Don't miss Friday evening in Pézenas with the high street market, food, wine and music.

Allen and Clarke families
One week was not long enough. Fabulous house - didn't want to leave. Visit Pézenas, just wonderful and great shopping.
