Air-conditioning throughout. Wi-Fi internet and UK TV.

Extensive Mediterranean garden with dining terrace, hammocks and extensive views.

Olive trees and private pool 10m x 5m with sun terrace and loungers and poolside, covered terrace with Balinese-style living area, bar and fridge and bathroom.

Plenty of off-road parking. 2 minutes walk to local café bar and restaurant and bread shop.

Large supermarket and further restaurants in many surrounding wine-producing villages, 5 - 10 minutes drive. Mediterranean beaches 30 minutes. Hypermarkets in Béziers, 10 minutes. Carcassonne 70 minutes.

NOTE; In June and early July, bookings run Friday to Friday for local flights to and from Béziers.

These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.


Location

The property is situated on a narrow lane on the edge of the heart of the medieval village of Puimisson, with extensive countryside views.

Puimisson sits amongst the endless Languedoc vineyards, 10 minutes from Béziers, between Carcassonne and Montpellier (approx 1 hour) and 30 minutes from Mediterranean beaches at Vias Plage.

2 minutes walk to local amenities in the village; café bar and restaurant and newsagent with daily bread.

Large supermarket and bakery / butcher, 5 minutes drive.

Pretty, hillside village of Magalas, 4 km with café bar and restaurant, bakery, small food shop, cash machine.

Further restaurants and wine outlets in Puissalicon, 4 km and Autignac and Laurens, both less than 15 minutes drive.

All shops and hypermarkets in Béziers, 20 minutes.

Local airports;

Béziers 25 km.

Montpellier 1 hour.

Carcassonne 70 minutes.

Nîmes 80 minutes.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Ramparts. The house is really well equipped and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The photos don't really do justice to the amount of space available. Dining inside or out is easy and socialising by the pool is also extremely comfortable with the pool side lounge area and under cover bar with comfortable seats. There are also places to take some time to yourself with incredible views and to enjoy the peace. Alissa, the host, was extremely helpful and very responsive when we needed her. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Ramparts and would definitely book again. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

The Ramparts was exactly what we all needed after the last two and a half years. Spacious, very well appointed and with a beautiful garden and pool. My wife and I seldom do quiet holidays, we're more inclined to explore, visit and generally get out and about, but not this time and the house and the village it sits in were perfect for this.
Puimission is a lovely unspoiled little place. True there's not much there, but that was just fine, a Tabac, cafe and restaurant were all that was needed.

Your house had so much space to stretch and breathe, despite there being seven of us there. It was never crowded, never busy, no one was falling over each other, it was the perfect spot just to be.

Pure France was helpful and efficient without drama and your emails and guides were invaluable. I have not previously dealt with an agency and owner who were so joined-up and in tune and it made a really difference both to the anticipation of the holiday and to our stay itself.

Possibly the greatest compliment I can pay you is that it only took about 36 hours before one of our party, I think it was our youngest, suggested that we should get it booked for next year! Time will tell, but I would have no hesitation in coming back and I'll happily recommend The Ramparts to anyone looking for a truly relaxing break in beautiful surroundings.

Your service was exceptional and for that we are all deeply grateful.

Gwilliam family
We had such a lovely time, thank you! Juliette is really fab and super helpful. It's a beautiful property that's had a lot of love put into it and we noted how different this was to a run-of-the-mill holiday let. Particularly with the little nick-nacks and treasures from far and wide (loved that!).

We have had a great time in this wonderful house with fantastic view on the countryside. The house has lots of bedrooms &bathrooms and also a large kitchen/living area, which makes it suitable for a large group. But since it is also very cosy, it is also very suitable for a smaller group or a couple. It has all amenities, like good kitchen, terrace with BBQ, swimming pool, garden, pool table, tv etc for a relaxing holiday. The house is surrounded by vineyards, but also the sea, the Causes and even the Pyrenees are not that far away, so an excellent location to explore the Languedoc (either by car or by bicycle).

The house is fully kitted out with anything you might need for a relaxing holiday. The house is gorgeous both inside and out, the interiors are so homely and welcoming and the garden and view are both spacious and private. The pool/ bar area are an added luxury which make you feel spoilt, but you still feel within the landscape. All the nearby villages are beautiful and lovely places to explore and the beach is only half an hour away. This is a perfect spot for a quiet holiday but with many things to do nearby and the house is such a treat- I can honestly say this is one of my favourite holiday rentals. You can really feel the love put into this house in the little details which made it feel like home. We loved it so much and want to come back again and again.
