What an amazing week - we were looking for a place to chill and we found it!
House had everything we needed. Pool was perfect, weather glorious - loved the baguette vending machine in the village - perfect!
We explored Châteaubriant, Angers and Le Mans.
Food stunning and Le Mans was definitely worth a visit.
Thank you - we will be looking to returning soon.

We have had a wonderful holiday. The gite is lovely and well equipped. We have done cycling, running and walking with lots of time relaxing by the pool. Ian and Jean have been very helpful and responsive when required. This is our 6th trip to Loire Valley and expect to return again. Thank you!
P.S. Try Victor Hugo restaurant in Châteaubriant, greater pizza + pizza dishes.

What a wonderful relaxing holiday.
Apart from a day trip to Nantes we spent the whole week relaxing by the pool.
Les machines de l'Île are well worth visiting. 7 year old Archie was totally blown away by the mechanical elephant. We will definitely be back when the Heron Tree is completed.
The gite is so well equipped and make a wonderful homefrom home.
Ian and Jean were very welcoming and informative.
We've certainly made some memories here.

We have had a lovely time here in this peaceful place. A beautiful setting, delightful gardens and comfortable longère. We enjoyed the pool when the wind didn't pick up but it is idyllic in so many ways.

A beautiful house in a wonderful garden.
We have had a most relaxing week in some very hot, sunny weather.
It was a great shame that our son and his family could not make it (passport backlog). We greatly appreciated Châteaubriant being so close.
We also visited Laval (ok in bits but it was not worth the travel) and nearby Nozay (small, pleasant town).
Moisdon is an excellent base with a lovely boulanger. The pizza restaurant at the Forge is well worth a visit.

What a wonderful week! So sad to leave this special place. Despite the weather, we managed to get in the pool every day, which the lads loved. We enjoyed wandering round the farm and visiting the friendly dog. The outside space is great for lads - they enjoyed playing on the tree swing and exploring the beautiful garden. Thank you Jean and Ian for your help and making us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be back!

What an amazing holiday!
We had a lovely week with wonderful weather. Thotoughly enjoyed the pool and struggled to get the children out of it.
Had everything we needed and more, merci.
We were very comfortable and relaxed.
The boys loved playing in the garden and we would love to come back to this house and see Jean and Ian again.

We've had a fantastic holiday.
The accommodation is perfect - quiet, peaceful and private. It has just the right mix of modern and classic. Great facilities (good Wi-Fi, great TV and everything in the kitchen we could need).
The pool is great - kids loved it!
The only downside was the weather - could have done with a bit more sun.
Perhaps we'll come back another time and see if we get more lucky!
Ian and Jean were really friendly, helpful and always there when you needed anything.

A great return visit - it did not disappoint.
Ian and Jean were super helpful.
The house was as comfortable as ever, while the weather was kind enough for us to enjoy the pool every day.
A fantastic place to chill out and take it easy.
Hopefully it won't be so long until we come back again.

Our stay at Maison Gagnerie could not have been better. Caretakers Ian and Jean made us feel so welcome on arrival and it was good to know that they were on hand if we had any problems. The facilities are exceptional – the kitchen was so well equipped and an absolute joy to cook in. The pool was essential given the temperature and our 7 year old grandson had a wonderful time learning to swim and dive in our week there.
Pure France provide a really personal service and booking was very simple with email replies made very promptly. We are looking forward to booking with them again – we just have to decide which part of France!
