Private tennis court and super, private, heated pool 12m x 5m with charming sun terrace area with poolside loggia with conservatory-style furniture, fridge and sink. The whole area is illuminated at night for a wonderful ambience.

Location

The property is situated in open countryside with far-reaching, Southern views, near Cambayrac in the Lot department, approx 20 minutes West of Cahors.

Beautiful surrounding countryside. Nearby local amenities including supermarkets, banks, bakeries and café bars and restaurants in Luzech, Sauzet and Prayssac.

Cahors, 20 minutes is a very pretty market town with hypermarkets and busy town centre with many restaurants and pretty riverside cafés.

Canoes and bicycles can be hired locally in Anglars-Juillac and other activities include Hot-Air-Ballooning, sky diving and horse riding, all of which are available nearby. Many vineyard châteaux are open to visitors for wine tasting.

There are many interesting places to visit. Saint-Cirq-Lapopie is a famous medieval village on a steep hillside above the river Lot. Boat Trips from Cahors provide an interesting way of getting there and enjoying the magnificent scenery from a different perspective. The famous shrine of Rocamadour is easily visited. The pretty village of Les Arques was home to the Russian Sculptor Zadkine and boasts a Museum of his amazing work.

The River Lot is one of the loveliest in France. The views from Belaye are spectacular as it meanders round fertile green farmland, the Cahors vineyards and many villages which have outstanding and atmospheric restaurants.

The region is widely regarded as a gastronomic paradise. Its cuisine is famous throughout France and beyond. Local specialities include dishes based on duck, goose, foie gras, wild mushrooms, truffles, plums, peaches, apricots, walnuts and their oil. The black wines of Cahors, raised on these stony hillsides, were known to the Romans and have seen a lively revival in recent years.

Utopia
There are many things that make a perfect villa holiday. Location: Les Granels is situated in the most idyllic part of Southern France. Views: the vista is spectacular. Products: two dishwashers, good Wi-Fi, amazing sound systems, a gym, a hot tub, stacks of sports equipment, a multitude of inflatables, not to mention the best coffee machine ever. Space: this villa is vast. Plenty of places to escape and relax and plenty of places to gather and chat. Swimming pool: the pool is amazing, a constant temperature and under water lights. But,by far the most important thing about a relaxing holiday is comfortable beds. The mattresses and beds at Les Granels are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Think 5 star hotel comfort and you’re getting close.
This villa is the epitome of relaxation. A wondrous expanse of high-end chic that cannot fail in taking your worries and stresses away. From the initial booking and liaising with Pure France representatives to the thoroughly professional and entertaining manager Steve. The whole experience was a joy. The villa was immaculate when we arrived. We had a couple of minor problems that Steve sorted very quickly. We were sad to leave. Still dreaming of going back. Thoroughly recommend.

I just wanted to write to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Les Granels. The Villa was everything we hoped it would be, and beautifully equipped, and an added bonus was the wonderfully stocked playroom, which as we had 5 children under 7 was an absolute joy.
I would like to say that Karri was an absolute gem, efficient, full of good humour, endlessly patient with our Grandchildren who loved her so much that they cried when she said goodbye to us. She really made the holiday, and enabled our rather exhausted children (their parents) to have a much needed few hours off. We are really grateful to her.
The other great joy was the meals that Carol and Andy cooked for us, just in case future guests want cooking done whilst they are there.
