Security Deposit: €150 charged to client's credit card by Oliver’s Travels as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Prices are for the rental of the entire property, payable in GBP.
35% deposit due at the time of booking. 65% balance and refundable security bond due 12 weeks prior to arrival.
Bookings run from 5:00pm on your day of arrival to 10:00am on your day of departure.
No smoking in the property.
Bookings include electricity, water, linen and towels.
Arrivals strictly and only on Saturday.

Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Location

The property is located in the heart of the pretty village of Montsoreau, on the Loire river, 10 minutes from Saumur.

In the village you will find several restaurants, small supermarket, café bars, bakery, butcher and Sunday street market. Bike and canoe hire.

Saumur has a stunning château with wonderful views and you'll find all amenities in the town. Many shops and a huge choice of restaurants and café bars.

The Loire Valley is famous for it's many châteaux where kings and their courts built an impressive array of stately homes ranging from medieval times through every period and style to the second empire in the mid 19th century.

This area is also known for its wine: Chinon, Bourgueil or the rich, sweet wine of Côteaux-du-layon or the sparklings of Saumur. Le Cadre Noir, the classical academic riding school is based in Saumur (8 miles away) and gives gala evenings from April to October.

Lovely place to stay, enjoyed being able to walk to the cafes and shops. Highlights; cycling to Chinon own hire bikes. Lovely walk through vineyards to the soap museum/shop. We had some extremely hot days (37 degrees) so went to Lac du Grezillé. Loved Saumur and Chinon, highly recommend Château Bréze.

A wonderful relaxing part of our trips spent in Montsoreau, living the dream! While really enjoying the local cafe/restaurants we made great and regular contact with the local boulangerie, boucher and wine producer who are all starts of their trade. Living local in Montsoreau for 2 weeks was great fun and delicious and... the accommodation provided us with the quiet and rest we needed. Spacious and with a place to read and watch the river on the terrace. Thank you.
