Introduction
A Rare 15th-Century Château of Distinction.
Set in unspoiled open countryside, this magnificent 15th-century château—crafted in the fortified manor tradition—offers an extraordinary blend of history, luxury, and complete privacy. Behind its walls lie 1.5 hectares of beautifully enclosed grounds, where heritage architecture, manicured gardens, and a serene poolscape form a private sanctuary unlike any other.
With noble origins tied to the Barony of La Touche and once serving as a distinguished hunting lodge, the château underwent an exquisite restoration in 2007–2008. Every detail was reimagined to honor its original scale and grandeur: monumental oak beams, hand-laid terracotta floors, and a sculptural limestone staircase anchor the home in its remarkable past.

We all had a lovely time. The accommodation was so huge that we could all find space when we wanted that and a communal get-together when desired. Our son-in-law really enjoyed cooking on the Aga and produced some spectacular meals. Needless to say that we all had fun in the pool on sunny days.
