Radish Leaf Pesto - A Taste of Spring!

Spring is springing, well it is trying to at least. We go from shorts to jumpers within the day here at the moment. One moment we were barbecuing on the beach, basking in the sunshine, then the following day, wrapping up in winter layers and lighting the fires! This jumping around of the temperature not only confuses us but the vegetables too that are trying hard to grow despite the stop / start weather.

The Millau Viaduct

Visit the tallest road bridge in the world, with the bridge's road towering 890 feet over the Tarn river, this is a true feat of engineering and an impressive sight. The Millau viaduct, or Millau bridge, spans 2.46 kilometres across the Tarn river and valley. Constructed between 2001 and 2004 with one of its masts 343 metres (1,125 feet) high, makes it 19 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower. It is a major tourist attraction in the Northern Occitanie (formerly Languedoc-Roussillon) region.

French Fried Vacation - a cult French comedy classic

'French Fried Vacation 2' ('Les Bronzés Font Du Ski') is a 1979 film directed by Patrice Leconte written reuniting the cast of a previous film with eight friends who met on holiday in the Ivory Coast.
