Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Location

The property is situated in open countryside, 6 km from the local town of Castelmoron-sur-Lot, between Villeneuve-sur-Lot (23 km) and Bergerac (61 km).

Castelmoron with large supermarket, two bakeries and grocery store, pharmacy and cash machine. Wednesday street market.

Monday – Miramont de Guyenne, Duras, Cancon.

Tuesday – Castillones, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Marmande.

Wednesday – Castelmoron-sur-Lot, Casseneuil, Tonneins, Bergerac.

Thursday – Eymet, Clairac, Monflanquin.

Friday – St Livrade, Seyches.

Saturday – Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Marmande, Tonneins, Villereal, Lauzun.

Sunday – Issigeac (best Sunday market in the region, all year), Pujols (April – October).

River Beach and Boat Hire;

Just a few minutes’ drive from Rambeau is this great spot on the River Lot. Open from mid-June to early September. Imported sand makes a great sandy beach and safe swimming area. During peak season the beach has a life guard in situ each afternoon.

Perfect spot for a picnic, a swim, building a sandcastle or just a snooze!

Adjacent to the beach you will find Nautilus boat hire with a choice of kayaks, canoes, motor boats, paddle boards, pedalos and fun hydroplanes.

Some of the most beautiful Bastide Villages;

Monflanquin – Hilltop village with central square, historic walks, good choice of restaurants (Thursday Market).

Pujols – Picture perfect hilltop village – beautifully restored, choice of restaurants and cafés (Sunday Market from April – October).

Villereal – Pretty village, central covered market square, good choice of restaurants – a great choice out of season as Villeral has lots to offer year-round – a great patisserie just off the market square (Saturday Market).

Issigeac – Large village with some fabulous medieval buildings. Best day to visit is Sunday for the market – the biggest Sunday market in the region and popular year-round. Several restaurants.

Duras – Another hilltop village – nice square and market on Monday. Enjoy a trip to the Castle just opposite or the chocolate factory just outside the village.

The terrace with swimming pool is superb for enjoying the view over nature and getting enthusiastic about the sunset while drinking a glass of wine offered by our charming hosts. The gîte is also very beautiful and each room has a beautiful bathroom, which is particularly appreciable.
