Superb property tastefully renovated. Old-world charm and modern comfort. The owners take great care and the satellites of Saint-Émilion are within reach.

Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!
We had an excellent holiday at the villa, it was just perfect. The pool was perfect and the seating areas outside were ideal for eating and drinking and gazing at the stars. We will definitely recommend the villa to friends and family, it's a dream we want to share.
Thank you for making Domaine de Nérige such a beautiful place to stay in, it was a fabulous time had by all. Fantastic weather, food and fun. We have had a lovely relaxing weeknight at the castle. Wine tasting at the Chateau Grand Pierre. Night market in the village. Butchers and boulangerie I the village both excellent. Pleasant setting for pizza intent little square. House lovely. Setting on outskirts of the village was perfect for us. Thank you for sharing the home grown tomatoes from the garden.
Had a fantastic holiday in this wonderful gite which is located in the stunning Dordogne countryside. Everything about this property is first class from the quality beds and linen to all of the many first rate appliances, a proper home from home with nothing missing. The pool was an absolute godsend as was the highly efficient and quiet air conditioning which is present in every room. The location was perfect just a 5 minute drive from the beautiful medieval town of Monpazier. The owners were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble but you didn’t know they were there.
Many thanks for a marvellous and very relaxing holiday in your beautiful house. Everything was great, especially the early morning bread deliveries and the meal at Le Pourquoi Pas - a real treat! We will certainly be booking to return to Maison des Communes in the future. Thank you!
Magical, inviting, soothing, AMAZING! The villa was truly magical, while also invoking a sense of home. The community areas are large enough that you never feel crowded and there are several places to "hide" within the property for true soul searching/peace with a magnificent view at every turn. Very well maintained and quaint restaurants/shops just a short walk away, but not too close(you still feel tucked away). HIGHLY recommend!!

Merci pour une quinzaine fantastique ! It was a wonderful place to spend a special birthday celebration with friends and family. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the luxurious feel and the tasteful decor. The extra touches were much appreciated - from the breakfast deliveries and amazing meal and setting at Le Pourquoi Pas. We also enjoyed the visit to the cave at Saint-Chinian. We enjoyed the meal at the family run restaurant La Tournelle, a friendly service and very reasonable prices. For another gourmet lunch with an impressive view we enjoyed the Tour at Monterey. Good value set lunch. Thank you for everything.
End of a wonderful family holiday at the villa. Everything we could have wished for. We had so many fantastic experiences in Collioure. Wonderful views, we will miss waking up to them in the morning.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house and views are gorgeous. We loved visiting Saint-Clar, Condom and off course Lectoure, which has everything you could wish for including the fantastic spa. What a relaxing treat!
I very warmly recommend Monpazier Cottages: absolute calm in the beautiful Dordogne countryside and very friendly hosts, with professionalism, great availability and an absolutely charming British charm.

Spent a weekend here in September 2023. The domaine has been very skilfully and tastefully converted into a very luxurious residence with swimming pool! The overwhelming tranquillity, the beautiful gites, the stunning surroundings combined with the care of the perfect hosts ensures that you can completely unwind and enjoy to the max! You will want to come back here again and again!
As the second week of our holidays it's been great to immediately relax in such lovely surroundings and le Tournesol has been amongst the best places we've found in France over the last couple of years. Richard and Meryl, you've created a wonderful retreat with all the little details we certainly appreciate. Sharp knives to make cooking a pleasure and a decent coffee machine! Sunday greeted us with the most spectacular lightening storm rumbling across the huge skies, but we've also enjoyed glorious sunny days and warm evenings. Perfect to enjoy with a bottle of wine... or two. Moissac and Laureate should be on everyone's visit list, both close and delightful to walk around. The cake must get a mention - delicious and very appreciated. As was dinner on our arrival and the great evening we had with our lovely hosts. Bourg de Visa is quiet but all life came out at the night market and the food and musical entertainment definitely a great surprise. We'll remember our time fondly. and if passing no the way it the NC500 Richard, let us know!
As lovely as we were led to believe a fantastic hideaway in the South of France. We will be back.
We are back home safely again after our enjoyable trip to France. And of course the best part was our stay in your lovely house. It is the best rental accommodation we have been in because of the feeling that we were in a real home - it is beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. There wasn’t anything that you didn’t provide in every room and such an amazing amount of activities to keep everyone amused. We re just sad that the grandchildren weren’t with us as they would have loved the pool and garden. We sent videos of the games room with the train track set up as my grandson has one at home!
Des vacances attendues... pour ce coin secret... Un séjour très reposant. Une superbe région. Des visites à nous couper le souffle. Le gouffre de Padirac excellent... Grotte de Lascaux, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Le Rocher des Aigles. Le Labyrinthe du Bugue. Tout était parfait. Une maison pleine de charme qui nous a inspiré pour notre futur bien immobilier. Frédéric et Marilou sont des hôtes formidables toujours de bon conseil du coup nous reviendrons l'année prochaine. Un grand merci.
