We have enjoyed our stay at Villa Lavinière, more a home than a rental! A trip to Grasse. A lunch in Minerve (superb crêperie). Abbey Fontfroide and lunch in the restaurant but you need to book. Carcassonne old town. Don't miss 'le petit train' and the canal du midi and the indoor market. Restaurant in Feline-Minervois. Olonzac market on Tuesday morning. A swim in the pool everyday. Looking at the night sky. Just laying on the poolside sun beds. Thank you for letting us share your home.
We had a wonderful time at Château du Pic de Rigaud - as our five year old said 'I'd like to stay for forever, or maybe two...
Dear Gay and Richard thank you endlessly for sharing your beautiful house with us! Having stayed in many beautiful places it is safe to say this one has been the ultimate. Thank you, we have had a fun two weeks at Le Pigat. We have cycled, run and explored the rural countryside. We have spent warm nights playing cards and dominoes with our children. We have loved the pool and the quiet and eating outdoors. It is fair to say that we have had a memorable two weeks here and we are sad to leave to go back to work and school. Great house, perfect location, private and peaceful. Lasting memories... On revient...

The place is absolutely beautiful, the pictures don’t do it enough justice. The grounds are spacious, there’s a huge garden with everything you need in terms of a pool, BBQ, play area, etc. You have your own driveway and a covered car park.
A fabulous property, everything you need in one place, especially the pool. A wonderful location and the local restaurant has been ideal.
We were fortunate enough to stay at the property for a week. 5 star accommodation in a beautiful remote village of Montlaur, perfect for exploring the surrounding wine regions. It was truly an amazing holiday and would highly recommend it for a quiet romantic break or a relaxed family holiday. And oh that Romeo and Juliet Balcony! Highly recommended.
We've had a wonderful holiday. The house has been perfect for our three families and the pool is quite superb.
We'd kept everything crossed that the embarrassment of riches within the Pure France portfolio would turn up something magical and you didn't disappoint. We would be hard pressed to say definitively which we loved best - This is no holiday cottage, it's a much-loved and equipped home and we loved the distinction. Faultless on every level and precisely the tonic we needed. Thank you for such great service. We couldn't commend Pure France or Maison Charvin more highly.

Large house with beautiful swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen with, among other things, plancha outside, very pleasant! We also enjoyed the barbeque. All amenities are available. We were with 6 adults and 8 children, at the limit but certainly feasible. Thank you for the air conditioning in the rooms - electricity costs are always paid separately
Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.

An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. Just returned from a week in La Maison Tournesol. Omg what a gorgeous place, huge, loads of space, gorgeous interior with every single thing you need. The pool was huge with gorgeous surroundings. The water was a bit cold but it didn't stop us having a splash. The owners are the best hosts I have ever come across, friendly, down to earth and nothing was too much trouble. It was our wedding anniversary and Meryl made us a sponge that I've got to say, was the best we d ever had. Richard gave us a lift to the nearby restaurant and even picked us up. They are the best Poppy their dog was so cute, it was lovely seeing her because we were missing our doggy while we were away. Would we ever come back Yes 100% Thank you so much again Richard and Meryl for letting us stay in your beautiful gîte.

We had a wonderful holiday, thank you! It is such a beautiful part of France. We realised we had stayed in a house just the other side of Lauzerte about 7 years ago in the days before children and we could drive around in a soft top! The house has been so nicely done and the arrangement worked really well for us as a family. The view was out of this world! And we loved having the auberge round the corner. We may well be back!
We feel very fortunate to have enjoyed our third visit to the lovely Loft du Vigneron! It has been great to see the Minervois region in a different season. I am enormously lucky to have spent 3 weeks of my holiday in the beautiful villa in Carcassonne. While you can see for yourself all the beautiful rooms and design I would particularly like to thank s the owner for all the amazing ideas and suggestions she came up with to make our time here so great. We love the pool, the snug, the art and books. The location is perfect. I will miss it and hope to visit again. Beautiful.
It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on La Picholine. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Thank you Esther and Leo for your hospitality.
I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday. The only terrible part was leaving! The house was perfect and we all fell in love with it. And the views were wonderful from every room. The whole family have lots of happy memories of our 2 weeks there so thank you.
A real paradise... Villa with everything available Beautiful. Very quiet and convenient place, well served by shops and supermarkets. We were driving a few minutes from the beaches and the cities of Cannes... Nice... The owner was very welcoming and kind.
We had great week staying at this lovely house! It is in quiet, rural location and we enjoyed exploring the area, which is very pretty. Sam was a great host and showed us everything and then left us to it – but was very helpful responsive with any questions we had. There were 7 of us and the house accommodated us all very easily. It is very well equipped and everything is in good condition and works well - lots of plates, glasses, large fridge freezer with ice maker, wine and beer fridges etc! The beds were comfortable and the house has two good bathrooms/shower rooms including a spa bath! There is a great choice of terraces and outside areas (covered and open) for sitting and dining, with lots of chairs, tables and sun loungers – which far exceeded expectations. The pool, surrounding terrace and gardens are really lovely and it is very quiet and private. The table tennis table was a bonus and we had a fun afternoon kayaking on the Dordogne, too! We would have loved a few more days there!
We spent a wonderful week in the accommodation. We were able to take full advantage of the swimming pool and the outdoor space. The amenities matched the photos and everything was top quality. I recommend the villa to everyone Beach, town and tourist sites are all within a 10 minute radius. We would particularly like to thank Marie Christin for her welcome.
Amazing château! Stunning weather! Five families came together from different places: Canada, Wales, England. We enjoyed ourselves and each other's company. We hope to come again to this lovely place with friendly spirits.
