Beautiful Home with Large Gardens and Heated Pool. A very special place. The house is spacious and the layout gives plenty of areas to relax. The garden and pool is beautiful. With woodland views, there are lots of seating areas and loungers, a hammock and games to play in the huge grassy area. And the pool is perfect. Sam is a super host, happy to help and is kind and fun. If you love yoga, then there is the chance to have a session with Sam in her beautiful yoga studio. We had the best time. Thank you!

We enjoyed our week at the lovely house. The children spent the days at the pool despite the cold weather. We hope to come back with warmer sun. Thanks Ian for preparing the pool. We are very relaxed after this break.
After a two-year pause in our travel arrangements we couldn’t have been more delighted with our visit to the Loft du Vigneron. It was everything - and more - than we had hoped for. Thank you both for your generosity of conversation, wine and gin!!! Good luck with the next phase of Le Domaine aux Quat’Saisons, not that we think you will need it - quite simply, it is stunning.
We have just come back from having a fab week. It was beautiful. We had a week of wonderful hot sunshine which prevented us from using the wonderful sitting room and the fire. This would be a great place for the cooler parts of the year as well as the summer. Also the kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen that we have ever had the pleasure to use on a self catering holiday. The Garden was lovely. All in all a great place.
Fantastic 10 days at Maison Joutard. The highlights:- Fantastic welcome pack. House and garden perfect for our toddlers. Equipped with everything we needed. We visited Cognac, Bordeaux, Villefagnan. Cycling to the bakery in Verdille. Whole experience highly recommended.

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday in France. We cannot recommend the property highly enough. It is very well equipped, the pool always warm and cleaned daily, in a great location and Jean, Martin and of course Tanner the dog so welcoming and helpful. This was our second time and already planning when we can return!

The house is magnificent and very well equipped, for the kitchen or for activities, everything is planned for a good stay. The welcome is warm with very friendly neighbors. I highly recommend the Château des Grillauds for a peaceful stay in the Dordogne. We had a pleasant stay and the house is very well equipped. There is everything you need to have a great vacation with family or friends. We were able to have lunch outside to enjoy the garden and the swimming pool. A lovely house in a spectacular location. Thanks for a fabulous time in this amazing part of France. The surrounding scenery was spectacular - unforgettable views from the house and pool terrace. Everything we needed in the house and super pool area. Local shops and restaurants within walking distance were great. What a brilliant find!
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. We had a great time at Dale and his wife's house. Very comfortable, the main house and the cottage are for 6 people: 3 spacious and very beautiful bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, it is very spacious and the amenities are quality. The accommodation is tastefully renovated and everything is thought out to ensure a great stay. The pool is great! It's very quiet and peaceful, a real place to rest and recharge. These are beautiful things to see on the surroundings, but you have to drive a little. Dale and his wife are caring hosts, they left us a nice basket filled with goodies when we arrived. If we have a chance, we'll be happy to come back! You can go there without a second thought!
We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Château Entre-Deux-Mers. I was delighted by the charm of this château. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all : it's situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available). So we can certainly recommend this place!
Exquisitely renovated French manor house. This house was exquisitely restored with close attention to period detail. It is perfectly curated and integrated with antique fixtures and objects d'art as well all the modern comforts you could want. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped I have ever stayed in so the owners must be cooks. There are lovely spots to sit throughout the gardens with comfortable furnishings. The house itself is perfect for large families or a selection of couples. The location is ideal for touring Chagny, Beaune and the rest of Burgundy. Sigrid was incredibly responsive, helpful, flexible and kind. I can not recommend the home and Sigrid highly enough. We had a completely charming and comfortable stay. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home.
We had a great stay at Maison Carel. Its a fantastic home with great facilities.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very nice, bright, very well equipped. The large terrace overlooking the small harbour and the sea is at the top, with the sound of cicadas. The living space is very bright and pleasant to live in. The kitchen is very well equipped. Local shops, including a large Giant Casino, are accessible by car, on Beaulieu, 5 minutes by car. Even if access to the station and bus is quite simple, prefer the car... or the boat, because the port is at the bottom of the building.
We have just returned from Maison de la Mairie. The house is a lovely, spacious and bright family house in a pretty village by the Canal du Midi. The house is well equipped with good quality bedding and towels etc. There is an excellent library so no need to bring reading materials. Outside there is lots of space for sunny or shady meals by the pool. Paraza is well served by a very good village shop and an excellent restaurant situated beside the canal. There is a lot of useful information in the house including walks, drives, restaurants and lo al history. Stephen, our host, was most welcoming and did all he could to ensure that we enjoyed our holiday. Even when he had to return to the UK he arranged for someone to be available should we need help. We have enjoyed a lovely holiday and woulf like to thank Stephen and Susan for sharing their home with us.
We had a wonderful time in Les Granels thanks and would recommend the house to anyone, particularly families with children. Special thanks to Karri for helpful advice and excellent cleaning.
We echo the comments of your previous guests in your beautiful home and garden. It was a long wait before we finally got here but so worth it. So many vinyards, so many châteaux, so little time. One of our lasting memories is standing in the middle of the Loire river on the riverbed. We hope the river returns soon.
A beautiful house in a wonderful garden. We have had a most relaxing week in some very hot, sunny weather. It was a great shame that our son and his family could not make it (passport backlog). We greatly appreciated Châteaubriant being so close. We also visited Laval (ok in bits but it was not worth the travel) and nearby Nozay (small, pleasant town). Moisdon is an excellent base with a lovely boulanger. The pizza restaurant at the Forge is well worth a visit. Thank you Christine, Jean and Ian for making us so welcome.

A fantastic week at the villa. We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking when travel restrictions were listed. We were slightly anxious about travelling in these times but always felt safe and welcomed be the locals. We're so pleased we did come! The villa is very well equipped and Frederic was so informative and helpful. The massive selling point for us was the gorgeous pool and gardens as well as the stunning setting and amazing views from every angle! We spent many nights eating cheese and drinking wine while watching the sun set and then gazing at the star-rider sky. This is definitely one of the most beautiful parts of France we've been too. We enjoyed the local morning's and night's markets in Duras, kayaking down the Dropt river and would recommend visiting local town/villages like Eymet, Villeréal and others mentioned in the guide. St Emilion is also a family favorite and is a must-visit! We now have a car full of wine! Thanks for an amazing week! We hope to be back soon.
