House perfect, everything you'd need. Countryside, beautiful weather - hot! Pool - contagious.
Where do I start?! Truly one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed. The property sits in a stunning location with beautiful mountain views yet is just a short drive from Limoux which offers everything you might need. It’s also a very easy and short drive to Carcassonne with all of its shops and attractions (and international airport). Close to beautiful Mediterranean coastline, the rugged Montagne Noir and the wonderful Pyrenees, there are too many amazing sights to list (or to see in one holiday)... if you can drag yourself away from Domaine de Nérige that is. The property itself is far beyond adequate description in words or photographs. It is utterly magical. Every aspect of the house itself and the experience it offers has been carefully and lovingly thought through by the hosts and the result is exceptional. It’s certainly not easy to achieve both elegance and comfort but they have, masterfully. As well as being entirely beautiful, the accommodation is impressively spacious- we stayed as two families over five of the bedrooms, but had we filled all bedrooms it would have felt no less spacious because of its clever and generous arrangement. It’s perfectly appointed, with an incredible kitchen with every gadget and utensil you could possibly want, an outdoor dining area with gas bbq and hot plate, luxurious towels and linen (including towels for the pool), music player, DVDs, outdoor games (table tennis, swing ball, table football, pétanque), pool table room and then there’s the swimming pool! An immaculately kept pool terrace with sun loungers, wooden pergola and even an outdoor shower. The swimming pool was fabulous for adults and children alike, being large enough for swimming lengths but also with a shallow end for the children. Kept as meticulously as the rest of the property, the pool is cleaned every morning. The hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming from beginning to end. Due to travel disruptions we had to change the dates of our stay several times and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Before we arrived Sandie had even arranged to do a grocery shop for us! She was also kind enough to arrange for a therapist to come to the house during our stay so we could have a much needed massage! I think it’s indicative of just how special this place is that everyone in our party fell entirely in love with it, children and adults alike. We can’t wait to go back.
Lovely mini break exploring Sarlat. The weather has been very mild for October and we've been able to lounge in the sun which we weren't expecting. Visits to Beynac Chateau and Eyrignac gardens were also lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Wonderful stay, 5 children and 8 adults all found happiness. Bedroom, bathroom, very spacious living room as well as a pool terrace perfectly arranged for everyone and the little extra of an outdoor kitchen with barbeque. The proximity is very quiet, in the countryside but at a very correct distance to do activities. We thank the host for making this villa available for our holidays. We recommend without hesitation. A wonderful villa and a great host. We have had an amazing holiday in Maison des Communes and the surrounding areas. Delicious meals at restaurant de la Tour and Pica Pica in Béziers. Some enjoyable cycling and lots of relaxing by the pool (The pool was looked after excellently by the host). Breakfast delivery was a real treat too! Thank you.
Great holiday. Great accommodation, fantastic hosts, wonderful holiday. A very impressive château in huge grounds make this a great venue to relax and unwind. Each room has a unique character and there is a huge kitchen. Highly recommended.
Our family of 4 spend a perfect week in the lovely and nicely renovated gîte. House is spacious and well equipped. The outdoor area did not leave much to ask for with shady terrace, grill, a big green garden with a nicely furnished pavilion and not least the large and clean pool. Jean and Martin were there when needed, very helpful and made you feel at home. The small village Lauzun great for evening walks. This gîte can be recommended.

We have used Pure France and other similar companies over many years, but I do not believe I have heard how highly rated they thought this particular property was - ever! As a result of the standard of accommodation, gardens and the local surrounding area, we are already trying to see if there is anything which can beat it for next year, especially for standards of finish and value for money (if you can recommend anything similar, please let us know)? I work in the construction industry as a design manager and can see someone has spent a lot of time and effort in getting the best out of this large old building, bringing it up to a high standard with well considered interior design - obviously the owner has considered in a lot of detail. Please pass on our thanks for being able to use the property.

We spent 5 days in September in Château Entre-Deux-Mers, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurious experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine châteaux to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!

Charming host. Beautiful location with magnificent views with vines and sunflowers. Perfect for running and walking. Good clean pool with covered area alongside so ideal for being in the shade. House very comfortable with all amenities including air con throughout.
We spent a weekend with friends just incredible at Villa Campredon Villa Campredon is new, beautifully built and very well thought out. The kitchen is ultra equipped, you are at home. Each room has its own bathroom which is very appreciable. Thank you Christophe for the welcome, and congratulations for your renovation. We fully recommend you to stay in this haven of peace.
Wonderful time in a wonderful house. So peaceful here. The house had everything we could possibly want and more besides (including a visiting woodpecker). Laparade night market was a highlight. The restaurant there is pretty fabulous too. We spent loong days by the pool and long evenings on the terrace. Frédérique and Hélène at the shop provided all we needed including homemade lasagne. And Olivia couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you, Mark and Janet.

We have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this beautiful house in divine location. The garden is filled with wildlife and we've enjoyed many an hour listening to the birds and watching the bumblebees and butterflies. My recommendation would be to sit back, relax and just take it all in.
The house is magnificent and very well equipped, for the kitchen or for activities, everything is planned for a good stay. The welcome is warm with very friendly neighbors. I highly recommend the Château des Grillauds for a peaceful stay in the Dordogne. We had a pleasant stay and the house is very well equipped. There is everything you need to have a great vacation with family or friends. We were able to have lunch outside to enjoy the garden and the swimming pool. We had a fantastic 2 week holiday in this beautiful house with amazing surroundings! We visited several picturesque villages. Spent some lovely days and evenings around the pool and BBQ's. Totally relaxing!

Just to say that we have enjoyed our time here enormously. You have the most beautiful home in a wonderful location! We only left the house twice other than to shop for food. Once to go to Château Bridoire (a good recommendation thank you) and Château Montbazillac and a second time today to go to an aqua parc. Thank you very much!
Kids really enjoyed the grounds and plenty to keep them entertained even when the weather was not as nice. So much space to run around and explore. Great pool, very clean. Owners went above and beyond to help us, even offering to give us a lift when needed. Welcoming and friendly reception from Nick and Takayla - really helpful and on hand when needed.

We've had a super time in the house, made some fabulous meals, enjoyed al fresco dining and of course the pool! We enjoyed exploring especially Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. A very enjoyable stay at La Roujal, a lovely, well appointed house with so many interesting places to visit within easy reach. Sarlat was impressive and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie was beautiful, as were the many other old medieval towns nearby. We enjoyed the local market and thought Prayssac (Friday's) was the best. Doug and Nic have been very helpful throughout our say and we are grateful for recommendations and guidance. Thank you.
Lovely property and surrounding grounds. We enjoyed the pool enormously with everything you provide and also the countryside here.
We have enjoyed a 2-week stay at Laserne gite. We were Pete’s first guests last year and our second visit has been as special as our first stay. Pete has been a delightful host, checking on us daily to make sure everything was OK. The pool has been such a delight in this hot and sunny weather. The highlights of our stay are the wonderful views from the gite and the tranquillity of furniture and fittings.
