Came prepared this year with my 'adult basic piano lessons' and loved the chance to try and play again. Not so sure it was as pleasable for those listening! Simply a wonderful holiday, house and village We're just back from spending a week in this fabulous house in a great little village. The house had everything to make our stay totally comfortable with loads of space for our party of two couples and could have accommodated two or three more people easily. The pool and pool area were great with plenty of loungers and seating with a nice shaded area for refuge from the sun at the hight of the afternoon but best of all there is a great terrace where we spent the warm evenings with a glass or three of our favourite tipple. We were able to join in the fun and celebrations in the local bars as France progressed in the World Cup, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The village itself has all we would want bakeries, a couple of bars and restaurants with pretty good food and all just 1 to 2 minutes walk from the house, there is even a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away. All in all we had a great holiday and can't wait to go back next year, 5 stars from us.
Charming place and a charming host. Christophe was so friendly and helpful to us. The house had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. I really recommend this place as a wonderful holiday getaway.
We had a lovely stay in your house, which is like a 'home from home'. The house is beautifully decorated and French styled and the 'jardin' with the vibrant roses finished it off in splendor. The region and location is also ideal, being so remote and yet convenient. Unfortunately the weather was against us, which made the house even more important! The swing in the garden was a major hit with our oldest daughter.
If you like the charm of the old, you will be won over. We particularly appreciated the layout of the house and the exterior. The fact that the swimming pool is in the low garden creates both security but also that the house remains very calm when there is commotion at the swimming pool! We played the most memorable games of ping pong in the shade of the majestic cypress trees and the children spent hours illuminating the castle, the immediate proximity of which is magical.

We were a group of 20 (5 families) and had a wonderful week! The rooms are very comfortable (aircon, great beds), the kitchen was perfect for a large group, the pool was large and clean (not even a bug in the water, thanks to the overflow system). Everything is nicely decorated and brand new. The location is just beautiful with wonderful sunsets. We had a lovely visit at the wine cellar of the domaine and did a wine tasting. We visited Saint-Tropez and the Pampelonne plage (1 hour drive), Cotignac (40 min), Île de Porquerolles by catamaran from Hyères (1h) and did canyoning in the Gorges du Verdon (2h drive). So plenty to do but you'll need to spend some time in the car. And last but not least : Thomas is a great host. He is always available and willing to help in every possible way.
We’re sad to be leaving this beautiful place, have had such a relaxing week lying in the beautiful garden, pottering around your thoughtfully equipped house, have loved every minute here - thank you! And thanks to Nathalie and Mike who were so lovely and helpful.
The family and I had a lovely stay at your house, Les Rocans. Your house, Les Rocans, has obviously been the subject of careful and loving restoration in many parts and it was lovely to stay there. The location is stunning, one could not tire of the views from the hillside. During our stay the weather was blistering hot sun and maximum temperatures around 36-38 degrees C. However, the breeze coming up the hill tempered the heat to make it quite tolerable. The trees you have carefully left near the swimming pool gave really good shade; it was my favourite lounging place. The swimming pool was so enjoyable, especially in the heat. Water temperature was the same as the heated pool in our local Virgin Active gym complex, occasionally higher, so our 4 year old grandson spent large amounts of time in the pool. Again, a lot of thought has clearly been given to the siting of the pool. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding countryside. Our regret is we didn't get out as much as anticipated as the heat was a little too much away from Les Rocans. The few trips we did make showed how picturesque that part of France remains, especially around Sablet / Seguret / Vaison. Definitely we shall explore more next time, perhaps at a quieter time of year. Kevin, thank you for providing a place which gave us all much enjoyment for our weeks stay. The whole family wished they could have stayed longer. We did our best to cherish your house as you so obviously do.
We had a fabulous week in the Loire and Château Monjardin was a stunning base from which to explore.
Dear friends from Paris hosted us as their guests at your château. They could not have given us a more memorable, magical, truly incredible experience!
We had a pleasant stay with friends in the charming area of Stanislas. We were 12 adults with children and the two houses allowed us to each have our own private space, it was nice. Special mention for the outside which offers an unobstructed view, with lots of vegetation. I recommend this accommodation :)
Heaven on earth for us and a very happy dog. Well, well, well, hot, hot, hot 45 degrees thankfully we had a lovely pool and games room to enjoy just doing nothing in. Great accommodation, great company, great chess and wine. Thanks Nikki for accommodating us. See you in the future. We love this beautiful house and the stunning setting. It is very well equipped and anything we needed Nic (the owner) was on hand. We would recommend Chateau de Chabert for wine tasting and tapas. We also had a lovely meal at Hostellerie de Gaujourac with live music. The pool area has been great for us as a social hub and a welcomed cool dip in the 45 degree heat. We will be coming again. What a fabulous week, lots of great recommendations for sightseeing and wine tasting. Nic is a fabulous host who could not do enough. Sorry to be going after our wonderful time. The house is very well equipped and we love the pool kitchen area and outside dining. Stunning. Thank you.

a wonderful treat to spend summer half term in the incomparable Le Grand Mas de Valcros. A house that really has every luxury and comfort with the most insane views. Endless pool-time, boules tournaments, visits to bastide towns and a trip to the sea - all missions that were completed with happy smiles. A million thanks for letting us share your home.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. I can't fault Montlaur in any way. We wanted a holiday where we could experience the genuine article - real French country village life - and we did just that. And in luxurious surroundings to boot! It was perfect.
We fell in love with this beautiful house and scenic setting. Our top recommendation for a visit would have to be Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, a beautiful hillside village. For us it even topped Racamadour! Hopefully we can come back one day and jumo in the pool again.
