We have had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Many thanks for the beautiful house and views. We have enjoyed the pool, the sunshine, the fantastic pool and of course the piano. As musicians having a piano was important. To learn the house was belonging a famous jazz pianist was awesome! We have played jazz everyday and the sound of piano across the evening air was a dream. Thank you Frederick for looking after us.
Mission accomplished, we came for a week to rest in a family holiday and we are sad to leave. One week was not enough! Thank you for answering our few requests and we love your villa! The A/C is perfect, beds are great. All the games available and even managed to read 2 books! The ice machine, the 3 ovens... All wa perfect! Happy summer. All the best.
This property is so beautiful you may not want to venture out, but if you do there are great restaurants and bars nearby as well as lovely walks and biking trails. The rooms are very comfortable, all en-suite and everything you could wish for is provided. The huge swimming pool / pool house / relaxing / eating and barbecue areas mean that you can be outside all the time but the gorgeous well equipped kitchen and indoor rooms offer a cool alternative. Cant wait to go back!
We have had a wonderful time in this super villa. Very relaxing. Collioure is still as pretty as ever, we had our honeymoon here 20 years ago!

In a word - spectacular. Where does one even begin in describing what a wonderful home. In a word - spectacular! We have stayed in approximately 40 homes over the years and few have even come close to the level of excellence we experienced. The house is beautiful inside and out and no detail has been overlooked. The beds are very comfortable and the linens and towels are lovely. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare all your meals. The patio, gardens and pool are tranquil and relaxing. As far as cleanliness, the home is absolutely spotless. The pictures are very true to the location but what they lack is the warmth and kindness you will be greeted with when you meet the owners. We highly recommend.
Fabulous home in a beautiful location This was easily one of the best holidays we have had. The house itself is beautiful, it's been refurbished to a high standard from the waterfall showers in the high spec bathrooms to the large range in the kitchen to the cosy decorating in the bedrooms. The back garden has a lovely private in ground pool to cool off in and the surrounding patio has loungers to sunbathe in and is surrounded by pretty landscaping. There are endless beaches and historic towns to visit within short driving distance but you will be equally as content not leaving the house. The village is lovely, it has a couple of pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the house, along with boulangeries, a butchers, green grocers and a supermarket. Markets every other day in the square. The house is within a stones throw of it all which we found so handy. Terry was always available should you need any assistance and was very thoughtful and considerate, as was his housekeeper agent Paul. I can't say enough about this property, it was fabulous in every way!
We have spent a great holiday at the property and we are sure we will be back for future holidays.
The house itself is old and gently restored, and extremely well equipped with every cooking utensil you could wish for and a very nice coffee machine. Special features are the large swimming pool close to the house, and the tennis court, which is a little higher up, with beautiful rural views. In summer there are night markets in surrounding villages where you can buy all kinds of foods, from omelettes to snails, and eat them outdoors on long trestle tables - a treat for locals and tourists alike. A wonderfully relaxing place to stay, highly recommended.
Your house is absolutely astonishing - out of this world. A taste of life in a château. It is a remarkable achievement to have restored the buildings. Thank you for the generous gift of food on arrival.
Great place!! We really enjoyed our week here. Pool, excitement of the stay, the tortoise and the location. We think that the tortoise should be named Trevor. :) We loved Bordeaux. Some great restaurants in Libourne: MA Restaurant and Bistro Maritime. Very enjoyable wine cellar tour and tasting at Château de la Rivière just up the road. Recommend Grotte Pair-non-Pair near Bourg. Thank you from us all !
I wanted to be sure I sent you a note of thanks, for the glamorous week we had at Château Monjardin! Our week was filled with day trips and culinary delights. You have been excellent hosts - helpful but never intrusive. The Loft is a lovely place to stay - stylish, comfortable and very well equipped for a baby. A cool, wet start to the week was more than made up for by Karen's delicious cake! It has been such a pleasure discovering this corner of France.
We had a lovely stay at the property. Everything was as expected and more. The owners, Benedict and Pierre Balteau were very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to staying here again next time we visit the Languedoc, Occitanie and will certainly be recommending this property to our friends and family. Great holiday. We had a wonderful holiday in Mouans Sartoux. The villa was exactly as described and well equipped. We loved the heated pool and watched many a glorious sunset from the terrace. The owner, was extremely approachable and helpful all the way and tiny niggles got sorted out very quickly with the help of Mireille, the lovely housekeeper. We will definitely come back.
Great place in a lovely part of the Lot valley. The house comfortably can sleep 18 or so. Lovely pool and grounds with a sports hall with plenty of options to keep kids busy. Must have a car when staying. The owners Richard and Nicky are very helpful if need anything at all. Lovely wine cave as well (stocked). Great week had by all.
Stunning retreat Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our time in your gorgeous home. We all spent hours in the pool and visited the neighbouring vineyard for some delicious rose, Corinne's daughter Chloe served up some fantastic food and Isabelle looked after the kids while we escaped two nights. It really is a stunning retreat.
Once again we have had a wonderful time here in your beautiful home. It has been so nice to come back here. The weather has been glorious, the pool fantastic and we have enjoyed ourselves immensely! Enchanting character house, with fabulous views making it difficult to leave, thank you for allowing us to share a real home from home. A really well equipped kitchen making it a great place to buy the local produce and wine and enjoy the benefits of staying in and soaking up the relaxing atmosphere. A day out driving through Beaume de Venice and Gigondas with the views of the Dentelles de mont Mirail was a highlight of our week. The market at Vaison la romaine was good fun, The wine at the Domaine Vallot (next door) was excellent as was the local bakery in Nyons. All in all a great week and thank you,

A fantastic house and a credit to the owner, the facilities are superb and could not be bettered. The area around Nyons is beautiful, we are familiar with Beaume de Venise, but this part has a charm of its own. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this premier class house.
