Thank you so much for letting us stay here. It is an amazing house. Me and Betsy really like the swimming. We have noticed the pond with crabs and frogs, also we saw 4 deers. The house is so big, we love, love, love our room.
We had a brilliant stay here. Really enjoyed the pool when it was warm, the BBQ most evenings and exploring the town. Loved exploring the nearby towns too. Kayaking was a big highlight. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We’ve had an amazing week, the house is just beautiful. So good that we didn’t really venture out much - just to the beach. The week had gone far too quickly but it was lovely to slow down, relax and spend some quality time together. Thank you for thinking of everything to make our stay so enjoyable - including the wine and oil. I have no doubt that we’ll be back!!
Came for 2 weeks, had a warm welcome from our hosts. We explored the area and further afield, went on lovely walks, found some lovely villages, Sarlat-la-Caneda and Bergerac with their lovely markets. Story book house in a story book setting... We very happily spent the month of August in this charming, comfortable and clean Provençal house. Although it's only minutes from marvellous food shopping and useful services (super market, cafés, restaurants, fitness center, bank, etc. ) it feels private and a world apart. The owner was unfailingly gracious and readily available by phone or email to her London location. As for the world famous village of Gordes and the whole Luberon area... it's one of our most favorite places on the planet.
This place is quiet and thanks to nature, which Surrounded us, we were totally relaxed... The cottage is equipped with everything we need and Karine and Pascal are always available... For future visitors, there are restaurants to recommend (in our opinion) in Vianne (l'Atypik), in Barbaste (the veranda), in Sérignac-sur-Garonne (Le Prince Noir), in Agen (South Side)... Opposite the supermarket in Bras, you will find a butcher and a traditional bakery... Nérac, Vianne, Pujols, Penne-d'Agenais are places to visit! Thank you very much!
We have been staying here with our grown up children who have not been to this area before, and have loved the house and the area. The weather has been so hot! So we really appreciated the wonderful pool. A great kitchen which we have used extensively and adore having every meal outside. Thank you for your help and your lovely house.
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!
Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.

Fabulous! What a treat! This is a truly fabulous property in the peaceful and beautiful village of Laurac. The house and pool were immaculately presented and far exceeded our expectations. The concierge service was fantastic and we were very well looked after. We took advantage of Anne-Marie’s cooking and I can highly recommend it! The locals were very friendly and welcoming and we were lucky enough to experience the annual fete which was a real treat. The house is in an ideal place for a relaxing get away from it all holiday, but adventures can be found less than an hour away. We visited the bustling city of Toulouse, the ancient medieval city of Carcassonne, the water park on the nearby Lake Cavayere, the beaches at Narbonne, the wine factory in Limoux and lots of the quaint villages nearby. The unique little town of Mirepoix is well worth a visit, and is awash with places to eat. We had 2 weeks here and could easily have filled 2 more! I can not recommend this little hidden gem of a property highly enough. We will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful few days in this gorgeous house and it was everything we had hoped for-lovely French feel to the place, excellent location and a fantastic pool (particularly during the heatwave we had). This lovely rural farmhouse provided plenty of space for our extended family of 6 adults and 3 children (aged 13 and 4) to spend a relaxing week in a more peaceful area of the Dordogne. The pool was a huge hit with adults and children alike whilst the many outside areas allowed space for both sun or shade throughout the day. In addition to games described there are lots of toys for younger children including a new sandpit which ‘appeared’ whilst we were there. Would recommend.

Everything was amazing at La Bastide 1718. We had to travel to the area for work, which was made especially difficult during the pandemic and lockdown. However, the villa and host, Thomas, made our trip as enjoyable as it could be within the circumstances. Thomas the host was always on hand for anything! Very professional, kind and thoughtful. Honestly one of the best hosts I have ever had! The villa is incredible. Each bedroom is up to a hotel standard; from the bedding, aircon and heating, TVs, bathrooms and styling. The kitchen and facilities are very well maintained and equipped, with anything you could possibly need! We spent every evening in the dining and living room with the fire burning, which was a great setting for the team to relax. There are so many facilities and things to do in the Villa, you would never get bored during your stay! The location is stunning and well worth the long driveway to get such seclusion and stunning views. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the villa which I don't want to give away. Each of them made our stay even more relaxing and memorable. Thank you again to Thomas and the team behind La Bastide!
We enjoyed the house, pool and garden. We took a private boar charter on the canal. We visited restaurants and enjoyed using the 'running track' around the garden.
It is beautiful spot... We loved the pool and the views and wild-life spotting. We would recommend Poltrot as a beautiful spot for food and a paddle in the river, Grottes de Villars is well worth a visit with kids to see the cave paintings. Aubeterre and Brantôme beautiful.

We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. We have had the most fabulous time staying in the Loft du Vigneron this past week. We have booked through Pure France for four or five years and this place is by far the highest standard of accommodation that we have experienced. Every detail has been catered for. Everything that we needed for the week was at hand. We really enjoyed meeting you both and our kids thought that you were so nice and welcoming, and Kate really appreciated the lovely touch of the pool noodles! We wish you both health, happiness and best wishes for the future, and we really hope to revisit again in the future. Many thanks for everything - you are 'best in class' hosts.
Another lovely holiday spent in this area. The house was all we needed, just as the photos and descriptions had shown. The standard of the house and grounds were fantastic. Often in France the pools may be a little walk away from the house/outdoor living areas but this was a fantastic layout for all to enjoy all day and evening. The pool was the best part, fantastic condition and provided hours of fun for kids and adults alike as did the games room. The house was very spacious and all facilities/equipment provided were ideal. The little walk into the village across the fields for our morning bread and cakes and the close proximity to Duras and Eymet (the towns we enjoy visiting) meant this was a great location.
Thank you for your lovely welcome. The house and garden are so very beautiful and a real inspiration. We have felt completely at home. Your wonderful information book has been invaluable. We hope to return soon.
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
