Beautifully renovated Villa. Well equipped kitchen, large pool and lots of ensuite bedrooms. Has everything to keep you entertained whether it’s full sunshine or rain. The owners were super helpful and always a text away if we needed anything. Small town nearby and a big supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay again in the future!
So much to do and so little time. Bons vacances to all future visitors. But for now its au revoir.
Fabulous place! This place is a paradise. We spent a family holiday (including three kids aged 2, 10 and 12) and everyone absolutely loved this place. The villa was very clean and kitchen equipment to the highest standards. Swimming pool where we spent most of the time was simply perfect. But what we enjoyed most was that there was absolutely nobody in sight. We were surrounded by vineyards. Having said that the villa is located only about 20 minutes drive away from the beach and we didn't mind making this trip everyday. But what made is all so very special were the owners who made us feel like home and spoiled us with their delicious wine. Thank you for your hospitality and see you again next week!
Wow this house is absolutely amazing. It looks good and it is! Its even better than the pictures show. The house was absolutely immaculate, all of the furnishings were of the very highest quality. Extra bedding, towels etc. Air conditioning in every room. The location is brilliant, really quiet, but so close to the centre of Narbonne. Every thing is just a stroll away. The pool and outside space is absolutely lovely, really restful and again immaculately clean. We would certainly love to be able to come back and stay here again.
One cannot improve on Perfection! Where then should we begin with our praiseworthy comments ?! Should we start by mentioning the welcoming warmth and engaging, positively colourful, accomplished characters that were our hosts, the exquisite taste, elegant and classic style of decor and furnishings presenting a regal, yet comfortable, homely feel, the 15th Century magic of years of History in every corner, the scrumptious and generous welcome pack, the quiet peace of the surroundings and the relaxing, yet vibrant courtyard, bursting with greenery, punctuated by subtle pops of colour from scented roses amongst other floral tributes outside and in, including delicate orchids enhancing every room, also hung with original artwork and beneath our feet, Persian and exotic rugs to soften our tread... I could go on, but I think you get my drift! The understated luxury of this homely, comfortable haven away from the busy, demanding lives we seek to escape on holiday, has achieved the perfect balance and we look forward tremendously to another visit when life allows! If you’re lucky enough to secure a booking...You’ll love it too!
Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). The house is easy, open and welcoming. Details are lovely. The garden is natural and flowery. The pool is a wonderful addition even in the early season. We enjoyed the town and its wild surroundings. The food, the wine, the beauty of the land as well as the warm welcome we received made it the best vacation ever.
La Petite Maison Générille is pure magic. Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Dordogne, this peaceful gîte blends rustic charm with stylish comfort. The saltwater pool is dreamy, the interiors are beautifully done, and every corner feels like a breath of fresh French countryside air. We didn't want to leave — and we're already planning our return.
Spent a lovely week here, Lived up to all our expectations. Wonderful setting with splendid views. Plenty of room to seat all of us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the sun or shade. The house wanted for nothing.

The area is lovely with loads to do, from our point of view it was a perfect holiday, with the decision on whether to relax by the pool or visit one of the Beaux Villages being the biggest decision we had to make for the 3 weeks!
We had the most wonderful stay at the Château Périgord. The building is so incredibly beautiful and full of atmosphere. We all loved it and will have many happy memories from our stay here. Merci beaucoup!

Very nice place for a stay with friends or family, beautiful interior and exterior spaces, with a magnificent view. In addition, it is possible to take beautiful walks starting from the property. Thanks to Sandie for her welcome and responsiveness. We hope to be able to take full advantage of it next time.
We spend two wonderful weeks at Villa Saumane, our stay at the villa was perfect for all family members - we all felt very, very comfortable. The house is really thought of everything and the garden and the pool are great. The support by the caretaker was also very good, we are very satisfied and we are happy to come back and will gladly recommend the Villa Saumane!

An amazing week spent with family celebrating a 50th birthday location was perfect, quiet but close to amenities such as a lovely bakery and shops. The property has everything: plenty of space to relax but also plenty of space to socialise and mingle. Philippe was an amazing host, providing an introduction to the property and location, bringing pastries twice during our stay. Great wine tour of Saint-Chinian and evening meal at Le Pourquoi Pas (which was to die for food and location). Highly recommend during your stay to take a boat tour down the Canal du Midi from Colombiers and kayaking down the river Orb from Roquebun. Thank you for your hospitality.
This is an excellent and beautiful chateau. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout the whole property. Everything was perfect from the word go. Our Host Quentin was the most kind and considerate person where nothing was too much to ask for or to do for us. Even before we arrived he was available to help us with recommendations for staying overnight on our drive from England to the Chateau. A truly lovely person who cared about you having a great holiday in a great property.
Perfect! It has been sheer bliss to have spent the week in this wonderful chateau. Chateau Les Tourelles was the perfect setting to gather my twelve dearest friends to a celebration!

Amazing lunch spreads on the big table every day accompanied by tasing of rose and red wine. Stunning BBQ dinners every evening. Sitting by the pool, staring at the view and saying 'wow'! on a regular basis. Kids very happy in the cinema for slightly too many hours! What would you tell your friends about your holiday ? It was a very pleasant stay. A very quiet house, very well equipped, with a much-appreciated pool. Beautiful scenery. What was the best thing about your stay ? The pool. The view over the landscape. The outdoor space. The air conditioning. What could we do better for your next stay? A pitcher/carafe (but perhaps we just didn’t find it). Were there any appliances you really wished you had? It was more than perfect. How was the comfort of your rooms, pillows, and beds? Impeccable. Do you have any comments on the garden, pool, plancha, etc.? Wonderful. Missing: the table game, and a tree under whose shade one could have lunch. How do you rate the information provided in this booklet? Perfect and complete. Is there anything important missing? One of our friends suggested an electric bike. Another thought that suggestion was excessive. How could we improve it? I note that the useful information, sometimes highlighted, already seems extremely well presented — also topographic details, routes, activities, plans for next year. Do you have any other comments to help us serve you better when you return next year? Looking forward to future visits. Final remark: We thank you for this very good stay in this very beautiful and interesting house, whose collection of books caught our attention.
I wanted to mention that we were delighted with our stay from August 5 to 12 with this very cordial and motivated winegrower. The house is beautiful, the property very calm, it has many walks and a nice swimming pool.
I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday. The only terrible part was leaving! The house was perfect and we all fell in love with it. And the views were wonderful from every room. The whole family have lots of happy memories of our 2 weeks there so thank you.
