Great weekend with friends. The accommodation is magnificent, clean, with everything you need. The swimming pool is great, as are the garden and the building in general. I highly recommend this accommodation which is ideal for families or groups of friends.
An enchanting place for a dream week that we will remember for ever!
We had a very good week as a family. The house is well equipped and the swimming pool is very good. No noise at night for impeccable sleep. Restaurant nearby, bakery etc... The sea is nearby. We will gladly come back.
Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing stay. We know the area well but usually stay in more rural areas. What we absolutely loved most was being able to stay so close to the incredibly beautiful town of Sarlat whilst having the feeling of being completely remote! The wonderfully enclosed garden and pool gave us a rural vibe with all the benefits of being able to walk to amazing restaurants every evening. Your villa definitely provided the best of both worlds for us and we will definitely be back.

An absolutely perfect location for our family holiday and we enjoyed some great day trips and some fab local food and wines (as well as a couple of lazy days by the pool!) We had just the nicest time and all of the info and instructions were so helpful. We couldn’t have really asked for anything more.
Château des Dragons is located in such a magical part of France....so beautiful. The chateau sets in an enchanted forest...just driving through the gates and up to the chateau takes your breath away. Our hosts Christian and Alla greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm. The chateau is perfect for large gathering and our hosts were so accommodating and eager to help with all of our questions and needs. They helped us secure an incredible private chef from Paris, as well as helped us find an incredible restaurant called Les Archives in Poitiers for our friends and offered great advice for things to do around the area. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. When we had the chef come to the chateau for our private dinners..they set an incredible table using their own collection of gorgeous china, added fresh flowers ..it really made the experience elevated. The rooms were comfortable and the common spaces very inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were so pleased. I would highly recommend Château des Dragons to any one and we hope to return for another stay some day soon.

We had a great one week vacation in Maison Lemance. The house is fully equipped and you will find everything you need in the kitchen, games room for the children, great pool and even a ping-pong table. There is a big and beautiful garden that is great for the children to run around, while we were drinking wine on the balcony. The owner left us a list of recommendations for activities and restaurants in the region which was very useful. We highly recommend staying in Maison Lemance.
Lovely house, fab pool and great location! First time to Sarlat and lots to see and do. House is lovely, walking distance to the centre of Sarlat. The pool is amazing and much needed in 35°c heat. Would definitely recommend.

Your Loft is superb - the best rental property we have stayed in complete with an excellent and safe swimming pool and large garden, which it was very nice to play hide and seek in. Everything was beautifully laid out with amazing attention to detail and very well equipped. We have had a great two weeks here.

We wished we had booked 3 weeks! We felt at home the moment we were treated by the lovely Julian and Pascal. Pool and garden amazing. Enjoyed the wildlife, red squirrels, birds etc. We enjoyed a surprise visit from our son Oliver. We had no idea and the pool!

Having rented holiday homes in France for many years I am sure that the welcome from Philippe was the warmest we have ever had. His kindness and generosity in providing a wonderful welcome pack comprising cheeses, bread, fruit, wine and a tart made our arrival very pleasant. The house is beautifully appointed and every need seemed to have been considered. The layout of the three buildings is particularly suited to large families with two large ensuite bedrooms in one block, a compact double in the pool house and a magnificent master suite in the main house. The facilities are exceptional, with a comprehensively equipped kitchen, air conditioning in the key areas, a great variety of outdoor seating (very comfortable) in sun and shade, a fantastic outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a superb swimming pool, all set in beautiful gardens. Philippe kindly brought croissants or pastries on the (very early) mornings he would silently clean the pool and another large selection of local goodies when changing the sheets after a week. The location is quiet and peaceful yet there are lots of interesting places to visit within a short drive. Béziers and the villages along the Canal du Midi provide lots to do and the coast is only 20 minutes away. This is an exceptional property which feels like a home rather than a rental and you could not fail to enjoy a holiday here.

We spent a relaxing week at Maison Rohmer near Gordes. It was down a very private road and not overlooked by other properties. Very tastefully furnished with everything we needed and more! Just lacking an upstairs toilet in the master ensuite. Gorgeous big pool and we managed to swim in it despite it still staying chilly even in hot July. Lovely area a short drive to beautiful Gordes and other towns and markets. Definitely recommend a stay at this lovely home.
What a lovely house and location. We have all had a lovely holiday. 3 generations together having a great time. Many thanks to Jery and Bridget who couldn't have done more to make our stay so happy. Love to come back.
And so ends another fabulous two weeks at the Loft du Vigneron. Everything we said in September 2017 remains absolutely appropriate. Karen and Russell, you do such a magnificent job in presenting The Loft - you really are in a league of your own. Please know how much everything you do is so appreciated - it all makes to provide such a fantastic holiday base. How we would love to stay on for another two weeks now - but this will have to wait until next year! We've loved spending time with you again - the boules tournament is firmly in the memory bank! Really sorry about the tea, Russell! Case for the defence: salt does look like sugar when you've had a drink or two! Good luck with the Chambres d'Hotes - it's looking fabulous.

We had a wonderful week. A lovely cottage set in a beautiful garden surrounded by picturesque countryside. We would highly recommend Mas Saint-Martial to families looking for a cosy base with a lovely pool and plenty of facilities to entertain the whole family.
We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison Gounou (August 2025). There were seven of us from the same extended family, aged from thirteen to sixty-two, plus two small dogs. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how quiet and peaceful the location was, which coming from south London was a real blessing. Although the house is situated on a small road, passing cars were extremely rare. We met some of the local neighbours when out dog walking, and they were pleasant and friendly. The house is beautiful and comfortable, very picturesque with a large gravelled driveway for several cars. We could close the iron gates to keep the dogs inside, which was useful. The pool was exceptionally clean, very refreshing and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of pots of pans for large-scale cooking, including many le Creuset dishes. The rooms were spacious, the bedrooms comfortable, with plenty of bathrooms and toilets for everyone. Bedding was changed half way through our two-week visit. The surrounding area is full of old bastide towns with markets and medieval buildings, outdoor evening dining events, medieval fairs, artisan shops . Although it was thriving, nowhere felt too busy or stressful. We found lots of places to eat including a lovely restaurant in Monpazier (Privilege du Perigord) that served a tasty three-course lunch for 23 euros. Highlights of the stay: peace and tranquillity, ability to let go and relax. Lovely veranda to sit and read/relax/fall asleep, lots of books to look at, lovely sitting room. More than enough space for seven people and two dogs. Lovely local towns to stroll around.
