We’ve had an amazing time with beautiful weather and an amazing pool to cool down in! The location is perfect to get around and do some sightseeing. We recommend Perigueux, Brantome and market day in Riberac. Your house is one we won’t forget.
We have had a wonderful time in your very beautiful house! 2 weeks have gone by much to fast and we are sad to be leaving. Although the weather was not very sunny the last few days we swam every day. The pool is great and we will miss it. We visited Minerve, Carcassonne, Béziers, Narbonne and Lagrasse. Croissants every morning from the van at 10am, delicious! Love the decor and everything in the house, vintage design and you have great style. Hope to be back someday soon.

What a fantastic holiday we had in Debbie and Rupert’s beautiful home! The house was so lovely and comfortable and so nicely located next to the vineyards. The family had such fun times by the pool and also managed to have some adventurous trips to the beautiful surrounding villages. Debbie and Rupert were so welcoming that we even ended up staying a few extra days! We’ve definitely made some great new friends and we can’t wait to come back!
We enjoyed a wonderful 'Spring break at Villa Floriana! The villa has been perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and grounds which were perfect for our 4 year old to explore. Everything was as expected and did not disappoint. We spent days in Port Grimaud, Saint-Topez. We would recommend this place to family and friends. We plan to return!

Brilliant holiday in a lovely house. Loved the pool. The games room upgrade was amazing from when we came 7 years ago. Three generations from 71 - 11 and we all loved it and were entertained all week.
We had a great time in an apartment made of noble materials, well laid out, decorated with refinement, taste, comfortable and spacious. Enjoy the surrounding landscapes on foot and by bike.
An exceptionally hot week - the pool was a delightfully refreshing respite from the heat. Highlights were: cycling to Chateau de Gavaudun - fairly hilly route to Salles - we returned the longer way through the woods to the east- a more gentle climb and lovely road back to the cottage. The Marche de Soiree at Salles on Wednesday evening - if you go, take your own plates, cutlery and glasses. We were treated to the local karaoke singers!! A lovely meal in Monflanquin at the Prince Noir, and a midnight swim back at chez nous. Thank you for a fabulous week in this homely house were there is everything you need.

We have had an amazing time and are very sad to have to leave! We have loved our time lazing by the pool and leaving all the stresses of our normal lives far behind. The owners have been perfect hosts. and the house has had everything that we needed. We really enjoyed visiting this part of France for the first time and would recommend all the beautiful Bastide villages. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back!
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. We were a group of 20 (5 families) and had a wonderful week! The rooms are very comfortable (aircon, great beds), the kitchen was perfect for a large group, the pool was large and clean (not even a bug in the water, thanks to the overflow system). Everything is nicely decorated and brand new. The location is just beautiful with wonderful sunsets. We had a lovely visit at the wine cellar of the domaine and did a wine tasting. We visited Saint-Tropez and the Pampelonne plage (1 hour drive), Cotignac (40 min), Île de Porquerolles by catamaran from Hyères (1h) and did canyoning in the Gorges du Verdon (2h drive). So plenty to do but you'll need to spend some time in the car. And last but not least : Thomas is a great host. He is always available and willing to help in every possible way.
Our family of 4 spend a perfect week in the lovely and nicely renovated gîte. House is spacious and well equipped. The outdoor area did not leave much to ask for with shady terrace, grill, a big green garden with a nicely furnished pavilion and not least the large and clean pool. Jean and Martin were there when needed, very helpful and made you feel at home. The small village Lauzun great for evening walks. This gîte can be recommended.
Highly recommended. Wonderful stay. The villa is modern, spacious and filled with natural light all day. Our children loved spending time in the pool while we enjoyed the quiet environment. Great location to visit the French Riviera.
Swimming pool and area were kept clean and were well used (daily). The trampoline was an excellent addition for children. The toy room was very well stocked and used and all the cildren enjoyed the toys. We enjoyed some fabulous barbecues. the baby sitting service was a great bonus and the house in general was kept in top condition.
This was our first holiday with our girls aged 2 years and 9 months. They had an amazing time! What a welcoming, beautiful place this is. Thank you so much for opening your home for us to share. It was the perfect place for our extended family to be together. Thank you for this fabulous experience.
Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!

What a lovely property! Lots of space. We were a big family group, mixed ages. The pool was a godsend as the weather was très chaud! Beautiful sunsets. The place was very well equipped. Didn’t use the Moroccan room as it was just too hot for us. The owner was very communicative and helpful to my queries. Nothing was too much trouble. Really nice to receive some wine and coffee on arrival too. Thanks so much Estelle and co. What a wonderful holiday we have had ! Sad it’s over!
Thank you for the opportunity to have another wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Everything has just been perfect! Came prepared this year with my 'adult basic piano lessons' and loved the chance to try and play again. Not so sure it was as pleasable for those listening! Thanks to Frederic and Natasha for all they do to make the 2 weeks go so smoothly.
We enjoyed a lovely holiday at La Cottage in Saint Maurin. Our hosts Bryn and Steph couldn’t have been more attentive. The cottage was full of character and French charm and the landscape gardens were a delight along with the private swimming pool which provided a much-needed opportunity to cool down after lovely days out. Relaxation is what this area is all about, laid back and very pretty ,with beautiful Bastide villages and charming markets selling local produce and so much more. We loved dining outside the cottage overlooking the garden, listening to the birds and church bells chime. Thankyou again to our lovely hosts.
Thank you for a much needed relaxing couple of week. We very much appreciated your kind consideration for our comfort. This has been our first escape from London for three years and it certainly did not disappoint. The high temperatures slightly constrained our ambitions, but Camirout is a holiday in its own right! Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans votre charmante maison. Le seul bémol a effectivement été la météo qui nous a empêchés de profiter pleinement de vos extérieurs et de la piscine. Nous en garderons cependant un bon souvenir.
We had a busy two weeks and it was so nice to return to a peaceful, clean apartment and lovely garden to relax in. We have booked to return in 2020 and are looking forward to it already. The apartment is fully equipped with all the basics needed for a short break.
