It was a perfect house for our summer holiday. Beautiful village where it is located. We were really happy about it and recommend it! From there it is easy to go to Narbonne, Carcassonne or other beautiful places along the Canal du Midi. Thank you!
We have had a wonderful time in this super villa. Very relaxing. Collioure is still as pretty as ever, we had our honeymoon here 20 years ago!

Absolutely delicious property in a beautiful part of the world. The property is very well maintained and rustic. I can recommend to any group planning a stay in the Dordogne. Our stay was in mid April when the weather started to improve. 26 degrees on our last day, perfect!
We had the best time. A beautiful villa and pool with access to a good range of restaurants/pubs. Thank you so much for your generous deliveries of breakfast. Super meal at Restaurant 781. We spent most of the holiday relaxing by the pool. Had a couple of visits to the locks (Canal du Midi). Very beautiful and the bus into Béziers was fun. Our two-year-old grandson wanted to stay in our holiday house and told me he didn't want to go back to Orpington! I'd quite like to stay here too.
Le Château de La Loire had a perfect location for exploring the Loire valley. It finds itself close to places such as Saumur, many beautiful castles, vine tastings, champignons farms and other highlights of that region. The hosts have been great and the place has all you need with pool, yoga lessons, massages services, excellent breakfast, quiet park and art exhibitions... we will come back!

We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. What a wonderful house and great host. We had a super holiday home in Mouans Sartoux. The house was very comfortable, clean and so well equipped. We took advantage of the property owners excellent recommendations for local restaurants, however, the kitchen was so well equipped we could have happily cooked and hosted a dinner party for ten people. Maison de la Siagne was a great location as a base to explore the Côte d'Azur. The train station is only 10 minutes walk from the house and the A8 only 10 minutes by car. We relaxed by the pool during the day, went out to explore and had dinner late afternoon and returned later to enjoy the super night-time view from the terrace over the valley towards Grasse.
We rented this home in December 2022/January 2023 and highly recommend it for families or large groups. Due to the time of year. we were concerned about the heat but all of the rooms were more than adequately heated. Additionally the fireplace in the living room produced a very warm, cozy atmosphere. We were 8 adults and 4 children (ages 5, 3, 3 and 1) and everyone had enough space. The children especially enjoyed playing with all of the toys in the playroom which allowed the adults to socialize in the living room just next to it and still keep an eye on them. It was perfect for everyone! The children also enjoyed playing outside in the fully enclosed yard. The pool was closed for the season but it, too, is fully fenced making it safe for the children to play outside with minimal supervision. The kitchen has a beautiful gas and electric stove as well as a wood burning stove and the back terrace has a barbecue which we used often. The kitchen table seats 8 comfortably but we were fortunate to have some warm days and could eat on the large table on the back terrace. All of the bedrooms are good sized and well appointed and each had individual heating units. The beds were all comfortable with clean, crisp linens. In addition to the half bath on the main floor there were three large bathrooms conveniently located between bedrooms with large soaking tubs and it was more than enough for our large group. The exposed beams and stonework throughout the home was gorgeous and each room was well decorated yet comfortable – we didn’t feel we needed to worry about the children breaking anything. The internet and Netflix were consistently reliable for anyone who is trying to work while on vacation. Finally, dishwasher and washer and dryer made for easy living.! Communication with the host was exceptional and checking in and out was very easy. We can’t say enough about this wonderful gem. We had a relaxing time, did a few hikes, visited some local sites as well as nearby vineyards. We would love to come back and would definitely recommend it to family and friends!”

Had an amazing holiday. The villa could not have been better. Had everything we needed including free Wi-Fi and access to English TV. The pool was great and heated so we could go in it all the time. The area was lovely. Food was brilliant and overall we have a really lovely holiday and would definitely come back to the villa.
Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. The welcome pack is the best and most comprehensive we have every had and was so appreciated. Thank you! We would love to come again some time!

The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.

Plenty of room for the whole family. Lovely outdoor dining area with scenic pond. BBQ was great. The swimming pool area was beautiful, very clean and child friendly. There was enough seating in all spaces for the whole family. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday.
We LOVED our stay at Mas du Château. It is in such a beautiful, peaceful spot and the gite itself is great. Christophe has renovated it perfectly, with everything you could want - a real home from home- and he has thought of every last detail to make his guests comfortable. The pool area is fantastic, with a lovely shaded area to cook/eat outside. We were travelling with a young baby and there was everything we needed in the house for her too, which was brilliant! Christophe was on hand to help during our stay and was so friendly. We would definitely love to go back again. Thank you for such a great stay!
You have transformed this building into the most wonderful house and more than that, into a welcoming and comfortable home, in which we feel privileged to have been guests. We lacked for nothing (except maybe a little more soleil and a little less vent). Everyone who came to stay with us expressed their appreciation in a similar vein. Thank you so much. We have just returned from Château des Dragons after a wonderful family holiday with seven adults and five children. On arrival at this historical château we were greeted by the owners who showed us around their magnificent château with its beautiful antique furniture. They had provided a Welcome Pack of local food delicacies and essentials. The rooms were generous in size and decorated in keeping with the period. The kitchen was fitted with modern appliances and provided everything you may need. The rear terrace sited a larger table where we could all dine together and also barbecue. The heated pool was a great success especially with the children. The extensive wooded grounds were perfect for exploring and playing games. A tranquil place to unwind.
Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel instantly at home. The property itself is breathtaking - a perfect balance of elegance and nature. The beautifully maintained gardens, softly illuminated in the evenings, create a romantic and serene atmosphere, while the untouched woodland adds a sense of tranquility and adventure. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious accommodations to the stunning swimming pool overlooking the picturesque landscape. Whether we were exploring the nearby historic villages, indulging in the region’s incredible food and wine, or simply relaxing on the terrace, every moment felt special. La Petite Maison Générille is more than just a place to stay - it's an experience, one that lingers long after you leave. We can't wait to return!
We enjoyed a very happy week at the villa. The only problem was that the villa is so nice that most of our plans for getting out and about were abandoned! We loved the privacy of the garden and pool area.

Memories: The views from the house. The wind, like a freight train through the mountains! Wednesday night pizza van. Minerve – nice and quiet (La Terrasse for eats). The front shower – I want this in my house! The fridge/freezer – cold water and ice on tap – something else we'd want in our house. Lazy days by the pool with a pot of coffee and a book. Villa Lavinière has everything we needed, and more. What a lovely house. Definitely one we'd come back to and recommend to friends.
