We had a pleasant stay, the region is magnificent and reveals some treasures. Up to you to discover them !!! Lots of activities to do (pony riding, boat rides, Europarc, Lunaparc, jetski, city visits: Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Valras Plage... But our stay would not have been complete without talking about this wonderful villa which offers incredible comfort. The swimming pool is great and for relaxation, it's the best! Thanks to the staff. Thank you to the owners who understand the pleasures of their tenants. A big thank-you!

The property was absolutely ideal. We stayed here in July/August 2025 for 2 week and had a perfect multi-generation holiday here, with 12 of us ranging in age from 5 to 76. – spacious enough for us to all be together when we wanted, yet with plenty of room to spread out and relax, play board games, or just enjoy some quiet time. The house is extremely well equipped and thoughtfully set up for larger groups. It’s refreshing to stay in a place that understands what big groups need – more than enough plates, mugs, glasses, and plenty of seating inside and out. The pool was fantastic – spotlessly clean and enjoyed by everyone, every day. A special mention must go to Michelle, the wonderful lady who looks after the property. She was amazing – warm, helpful, and quick to resolve the two very minor issues we had. She also gave us some excellent local recommendations. The location is lovely and secluded, which does mean you need to drive for shops or activities, but honestly, the property is so large and comfortable that you don’t feel the need to leave often. We did enjoy a few outings – kayaking on the Dordogne, dinners out, and day trips – but we were always happy to return “home.” All in all, this house feels like a cross between a welcoming home and an upmarket hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family holiday and would highly recommend it.
We had an amazing stay. The villa is bright and sunny all day long, which made the outdoor spaces even more enjoyable. Everything was spotless, comfortable and perfectly equipped. The pool area is fantastic and the surroundings are incredibly peaceful. We would happily return.
Our fourth year running and just as lovely as ever. A delightful house - elegantly yet comfortably furnished - tucked away in complete privacy and quiet, yet close to the lovely hilltop village of Gordes. A blissful spot in which to do nothing or lots - just as you will. We can't wait to go back.
Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). We had such a lovely stay at your house. A warm and lovelywelcome and you baked a delicious crumble for us! The house was perfect, playing ping-pong, badminton and of course swimming! Thanks for everything!

We had a great time at Villa Lavinière. Both the house and its views were amazing. The hills around the house were lovely to explore and we really enjoyed the facilities at the house itself (pool and pétanque). Parc du Haut-Languedoc, Minerve, Saint-Pons-de-Thomières, the Montagne Noire and Carcassonne were all highly recommended. We were also lucky enough to see the Tour de France passing by.
We have had the most magical 2 weeks at Manoir Gascon. The first week with our children and grandchildren, the second week with 6 wonderful friends so it felt like two entirely separate holidays. Everyone was blown away with how amazing this house is. We all want to come again.
What a beautiful villa decorated to a wonderful standard. The pool is just what you need at the end of a hot day. Philippe was so attentive and you cannot ask for a better host.
We spent a night in this pretty villa lost at the bottom of the woods and vineyards during a wedding evening nearby (Franco's estate, also a superb place). We were quiet (and for good reason, no neighbours around). The villa is very well equipped. The bedding is excellent. Wonderful.
A flawless stay. The house is filled with sunlight all day long, which makes the pool and terrace really enjoyable. Lots of space, complete peace and quiet, and impeccable cleanliness. Perfect communication with the host. We recommend without hesitation.
We arrived to the warmest of welcomes from the owners Caterina and Steve, for whom nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in many lovely places over the years but this place is truly special and a perfect little gem... the interior is beautifully presented with many thoughtful touches, from the fresh flowers to the fragrance sticks... Caterina keeps the place fresh and immaculate, a home from home! Steve works hard to keep the pool and the grounds in tip top condition, which we really appreciated. We had been staying with family in nearby Sarlat prior to our arrival which was rather hectic and we were looking forward to relaxing and having some 'chill Tim'... for sheer relaxation and tranquility this place is hard to beat, in a fab location and we would return in a flash!
Our stay at the Marquises has been perfect, the house was everything we hoped for, thank you. We loved the views over the vineyards, the furnishings, the pool and the fig tree, for shade and figs.

We had an amazing stay at your wonderful house. The setting was wonderful and we had a truly relaxing time. The scenery was a joy. We also liked the beautiful village / hamlet with such a wonderful church. We met many French people who were exceptionally friendly. We cooked with all the fresh produce from the markets and ate outside surrounded by hay bales! Thank you for such an amazing week.

A fantastic week exploring the area, with the beautiful house to retreat to. The local markets have been wonderful, with lots of delicious food which has been enjoyed in the surroundings of Le Malardier. The other highlights have been visiting Aubeterre, canoeing and a trip to the Chateaux. A magnificent week.

This time coming back in the summer we got to enjoy time by the pool with breathtaking views, monopoly in the living room, TV nights upstairs and dining under the stars outside. We stayed as a family in this very pretty house of character, full of charm and luxury. Located in a large, quiet, vast and well-maintained property, the house offers beautiful surface areas and numerous rooms, ideal for a large family. The large swimming pool is perfect for the whole family. The welcome is very friendly and we spent a wonderful week as a family in this beautiful property. I will come back with pleasure.

We loved the peace and quiet, cycling around the quiet lanes and watching the kingfishers flying in and out of their nests at the lake. I loved this holiday. I love sport so I sent most of my days in the gorgeous pool, I would practice my swimming and then float around and look at the blue sky. I loved the tennis court and spend hours practicing my forehand. The château is so pretty, it could have been made up. Any kid would love this place.
A beautiful place which we have all thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to 2027!
