Thank you ever so much for such a wonderful stay at Camirout. We have all had a fabulous time, enjoying the fine weather, exploring the local area, sampling the delights of the local restaurants and village ‘feasts’/night markets; participating in medieval festivals (a particular favourite!); and most of all – relaxing by the pool. It has been such a special and enjoyable fortnight. Thank you for your kindness and warm hospitality. We will have fond memories of our special holiday here.
A delightful location for a holiday, particularly for a family. Debbie and Rupert are very welcoming and while being entirely unobstrusive, are only too willing to give practical help and suggestions if required. The accommodation is spacious with interesting architecture, comfortable good quality furnishing and a well equipped kitchen. The grounds are attractive and varied, with a pretty courtyard and different areas for relaxing or eating out. The pool is beautifully kept and a good size. Everything about the property is well maintained and cared for - it is a lovely place to stay.
From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.
We have been renting in France for 5 years now and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Attention to detail throughout and a lovely garden and pool area which the children loved. The local village is so picturesque with fabulous restaurants.

Thank you for letting us stay at this lovely stylish villa, one of the best we have ever stayed at. So well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Nardia recommended ‘Le Grand Frais’ supermarket at Carcassonne where we were able to buy some wonderful fresh produce on arrival and which saw us through the week. An absolutely fantastic place! Our week went so incredibly quickly. It is our second time in the Carcassonne area, but still so much to do and see. This time we discovered the Gorges de Galamus and the labyrinths at Nebias. Amazing! Short treks around the beautiful Villelongue were also so nice. We loved the compost recycling bin at the end of the commune. Very green! Thanks to Mike for sorting the awning for us on a very windy Sunday. Hope to be back!
We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house in this stunning location. The sunflowers fields are just gorgeous and we will forever have fond memories of Gascony and the sunflowers. We enjoyed our stay at Villa des Pivoines Sérignan. A very beautiful villa, nicely located in a quiet area. The private pool was truly a treat! Eva was very responsive to our questions and was easy to contact. We can certainly recommend this accommodation and would not hesitate to return if we are in the area again.

Thank you for the opportunity to have another wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Everything has just been perfect! Came prepared this year with my 'adult basic piano lessons' and loved the chance to try and play again. Not so sure it was as pleasable for those listening! We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious and well maintained accommodation met the needs of our party of 15 perfectly, ranging from ages 1 to 85. The accommodation was even nicer than shown in the photos, as the sitting room had been refurbished. We particularly loved the on site activities (table tennis, pétanque, pool etc) and the sitting area by the pool! There were many thoughtful touches, including toys for younger children, board games and a well stocked kitchen. The site managers were on hand to help with any queries and advise on places to visit. The Manoir is well located close to Casteljaloux for supermarket, shops, market etc and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. We’d certainly love to stay here again!
What a wonderful place to celebrate two birthday and a 25th anniversary. Weather has been glorious. Thank you for all the fresh flowers in the room. We've booked Maison Baleyssagues 2 years ago (its very popular!) and it has been worth to wait.

We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.
Many thanks for our wonderful week here in your beautiful home and surroundings. We loved every minute with the children spending their time in the pool, playing table tennis and with all the other games (chess, dominoes…) You kindly supplied we couldn’t have asked for more and very much appreciated our welcome pack. So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! A stay in immaculate cottage with small front garden and very large pool adjoining the owners beautiful historic house. Charming hosts, very helpful when needed, otherwise considerately discreet. Lovely area with lots to do and visit. Would certainly recommend it for a relaxing holiday.
Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.
Beautiful seaside villa. We had a fantastic week with all our family. Villa Chiavari was perfect for all ages and offered plenty of space with numerous tranquil spots both on the balconies and the garden overlooking the sea. The recommendations from the owners on what to do were a great introduction to this area of Corsica. We look forward to staying longer next time!
Swimming in the sun at La Barde we experienced a luxurious time in the perfect place to be reminded of the most important parts of life - family, nature and love. It's so obvious that every corner of this house was built and is maintained with love. A perfect getaway in the hills of Lusignac.
Back home, I simply wanted to thank you very much for the exceptional welcome you gave us during our long weekend in Maureilhan. As we told you this morning, we had a great time at Maison des Communes – and we greatly appreciated your extraordinary generosity. With meals at the restaurant, cheese platter, wine and pastries, it was close to incredible. Certainly, we have never before benefited from such generosity when renting in France, in the UK or elsewhere. And as you well know, your home is just as remarkable, with a mix of styles and moods that make it as interesting as it is luxurious and welcoming. We really didn't want to leave this morning... So a big thank you once again and hopefully see you soon.
Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. The welcome pack is the best and most comprehensive we have every had and was so appreciated. Thank you! We would love to come again some time!
Charming house in the most picturesque hill top village that has been lovingly restored with air con and a pool to help you cool off in the heat. The surrounding area has lots to offer and you can find great food either in the village or in Uzes not too far away.
Château du Mas is magnificent. The rooms are well proportioned with high ceilings so always feels cool. The is so much to explore in the grounds and great tuning trails. Great BBQ for outdoor al fresco dining. Huge table under a pergola for long leisurely lunches or dinners. The swimming pool is lovely and a great size for lengths with lots of loungers. Sharp, sharp knives. First time ever in a rental! Huge range cooker which is immaculate. Blenders, graters and simple to use bottle opener! The owners were fabulous! Our children are 9 and 12 and they loved playing the Wii in the playroom. Wish I had found the château when they were a baby and a toddler as tons of toys to occupy them with.10/10. 5 star throughout. Recommended.
An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.
