It's impossible not to smile in the Gers. At the heart of Gascony, this land is green and gentle, with hills, rivers, armagnac, ducks, arcaded village squares and solid people ambling a couple of hours behind mainstream France. Given the feudal feel, a château fits the frame. Few are more sumptuous than the Château Mézard, near Condom, which sleeps 13. Surrounded by 42 acres, it's the sort of place ordinary mortals pay to look round, not stay in.
Have had a truly wonderful visit. Such beautiful, quiet place with great amenities. Thank you so much. Would love to come back.
The house is pleasant and the host is welcoming. There is space for a large group. It is easy to park in front of the house and there is also an option to park in the garden. Well located, you can buy bread on the houseboat across the bridge and the bookstore is a must!
An exceptional setting. On a business trip for 3 days, I discovered very pleasant accommodation and two magnificent people. Thanks again to David and Kirstie for their welcome and kindness. I will not fail to recommend this pretty and pleasant house whether for a business trip or to come and rest with the family.
Swimming in the sun at La Barde we experienced a luxurious time in the perfect place to be reminded of the most important parts of life - family, nature and love. It's so obvious that every corner of this house was built and is maintained with love. A perfect getaway in the hills of Lusignac.
Beautiful villa, lovely location near Fayence and Lac de Cassien. Can't wait to come back.

Les Fumerates is a stylish and comfortable home-away-from-home in the South of France. It's a great base from which to explore the delightful village of Saint Paul De Vence, but most of your stay here should be spent unwinding by the villa's fabulous (and heated!) swimming pool with a good book and soaking up the panoramic views. Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing trip with your nearest and dearest.

Thank you for your hospitality. We really appreciated the breakfast items and the wine and cheese. The meal at Le Pourquoi Pas was amazing although we had a bit of an adventure finding it! Lovely weather in the first half of the week but a shame we had wind and rain in the last few days. Good meal at Pizzeria La Cremade in Béziers Villeneuvre - next to a lock on the Canal du Midi. Worth visiting the Nine Locks as well. Enjoyed the beach at Serignan. Merci Beaucoup. Thank you for petit velo.
What a beautiful, well appointed home in a wonderful location. Despite the odd bit of rain we and our guests enjoyed our two week stay immensely. Thank you to the owners who were perfect hosts – helpful, friendly and on hand when needed, without encroaching an inch on our privacy. We could not have asked for more, either of you or of Domaine de Nérige. You have designed the perfect holiday home and we and our guests would have been happy to stay longer, much longer. Lovely retreat set amongst fruit trees. We stayed at Maison Meunier for the middle week of a three week honeymoon in France. After spending the previous week in Paris it was the perfect contrast allowing us to slow the pace down a little and put our feet up. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and helpful offering advice when required. They're based on site but away from the property in the main buildings. The accommodation itself is lovely and really well equipped with everything you could ever need. Outside, the pool is great for cooling off during sunbathing and the view from the terrace is beautiful with quince, apple and fig trees between the property and the nearby lake. We spent most evenings cooking on the barbecue with the fabulous local produce we picked up from the market or supermarket. Nearby there are a number of châteaux to explore and also traditional bastide towns to wander round and grab a coffee or cold glass of champagne. All in all, a lovely stay at a lovely place. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
We felt truly privileged to have the opportunity to share our special family reunion together at your stunning home. Straight out of an interior design magazine! The countryside, local villages, food and wine were amazing. Can't wait to come back. Merci.

We've had an excellent time in this beautiful villa. Sunbathing by the pool, swimming and rock climbing (just some of the things we've done). We hope to be back next year.
We have had such a wonderful week here in this amazing château. Such a wonderful setting and it is so well equipped. The kids LOVE the huge pool especially the diving board. We would love to come back and stay here again. Thank you.
Pool was 28°c - 30°c in October! We were very happy with everything at Les Fumerates. Beds and bedclothes were really comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. The owners were very nice and helpful. Location is good to explore French Riviera. I would recommend to have a car to make that much easier. The most important thing for us (with two kids) were the warm pool with nice view. The pool was big, clean and really warm. On our six day stay in October the temperature of the pool was 28°c - 30°c! Day and night, such a pleasure. You have a amazing place, thank you very much for sharing it with others too.
I stayed in this stunning house in May this year. It is beautifully presented and very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It has the added benefits of an outdoor swimming pool and a games room. The owner has gone to great lengths to make this a home away from home! It hides behind pretty old stone walls, just a few steps from the centre of the beautiful historic town of Pezenas. I am looking forward to returning in the future!

I had very high expectations for this accommodation, based on the photos and descriptions. But the castle was even more incredible than we dared to imagine. We were four families, 15 in total, on a graduation trip across Europe. It's the only place we could all be together and our days there were the highlight of our trip. This place is PERFECT for large gatherings. So much room, so many places where we could all be together. Amazing food. The pool was awesome. I can't say enough how perfect it was for our group.
A delightful week spent in a beautiful corner of France. We are at least 20Kg heavier! (Shared between four people, in our defence). Extremely comfortable and tasteful accommodation - thank you for the warm welcome.
We would like to thank you with all our warmth for letting us inhabit your wonderful house for a whole previous week. The grounds and the pool are wonderful and we have spent many happy hours wandering, picking blackberries', sunbathing, swimming, talking, reading ... the house worked its magic again!
