We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Close proximity to many delightful places of interest. Thank you, au revoir.

Le Séchoir Carme was a lovely holiday let and we enjoyed two weeks exploring the region from this beautiful house returning each late afternoon to enjoy the large pool and cool down before dinner. The house is well proportioned and the kitchen/living area is well designed (and equipped) with wonderful access to the outdoor dining area and pool. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday with all we needed for our young family.

What a fantastic week we have had. Thank you so very much for your hospitality. Our son loved the trampoline and the swimming pool and our daughters loved playing under the shady trees in your beautiful garden. The roses are gorgeous and their smell filled our lazy days. Excellent home, beautiful garden, fantastic amenities nearby and we really enjoyed Saumur too. We hope to come again very soon please. Until then, merci beaucoup.

We stayed in the Maison des Artistes for 2 weeks at the end of June and had a fantastic holiday. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our party and the house had plenty of room for everyone’s differing needs. The photos of the listing are absolutely spot on in terms of accuracy! The outside space really is big. It had plenty of chairs/loungers/covered day beds. Fantastic outside table for al fresco eating. The pool was beautiful. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool during our stay due to a couple of severe storms in the area but Colin and Mel were very prompt at dealing with these. The gas BBQ was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which you often find to not be the case. Internally there is air conditioning in each room. The whole house has electric shutters which are great for blackout blinds to get some good sleep and also keep the house cooler. Beds very comfortable, nice linen wear on all beds. Towels were all brand new. Generous and lovely welcome basket was there for us on arrival. Colin and Mel met us on arrival at the property and gave us a very quick run down and left us to it. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay when we did have any queries or minor issues. Kitchen was very well equipped for large parties, loads of plates, utensils, cookware etc. Good supply of kitchen basics. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms. Very quiet peaceful location. In summary one of the best properties we have ever stayed in over many years of holidaying abroad

Maison Bourriette is a wonderful place to stay! In a peaceful location it’s a perfect getaway with cool indoor spaces and beautiful tranquil outdoor spaces. The house boasts wonderful views across the valley, with many routes from the house for walks or runs. The village is a short walk away and has a well stocked traditional market, an outdoor gym for those feeling active! The artificial beach in the village also allows for swimming or relaxing and the local pizza restaurant completes the day! We have visited more than once and each stay is relaxing, with friendly, helpful hosts. We will definitely go back to this hidden gem!
What a beautiful, well appointed home in a wonderful location. Despite the odd bit of rain we and our guests enjoyed our two week stay immensely. Thank you to the owners who were perfect hosts – helpful, friendly and on hand when needed, without encroaching an inch on our privacy. We could not have asked for more, either of you or of Domaine de Nérige. You have designed the perfect holiday home and we and our guests would have been happy to stay longer, much longer. Unique house in the heart of Provence! We are an anglo- french family with 3 children and enjoy coming to Le Paradou as much as we can! We spent two summers there and had kept an excellent memory of our stays: the house is beautifully decorated in a provencal style with personal touches from the owners ( music, painting, photography) and the swimming pool is very agreeable at any moment... The area is perfect for tourism ( this is probably the best spot in Provence!) and for those who love cooking (as myself) the markets and the products are just marvellous!
What a fabulous find in the middle of sunflower fields ! Lovely hot weather, really appreciated the beautiful pool. The house is so well equipped and welcoming that it provided for a relaxing holiday. It was the perfect balance of great food, excellent company, a little sightseeing and a lot of relaxing by the pool, playing pool and generally chilling in style. Please can we come back...
A perfect place for a family stay. A large well equipped property that is decorated with great taste. There is something for all generations both inside and out including indoor and outdoor games for children. A great television room with a large choice of DVDs for both children and adults. Magnificent garden – great for aperitifs and barbeques and a beautiful swimming pool. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Our visit was unforgettable and we will certainly be coming back.
This has been our first villa holiday and you have certainly spoilt us for the future! We don't know how Maison Albarels could be bettered. You have done a fantastic job in converting your old family home into such a lovely villa. Many thanks for your hospitality, especially your wine and juice on arrival and your lovely cherries - and also for trying to sort out the TV for us to watch the World Cup in English... Even if England were rubbish! We loved Carcassonne - we went once by car and once by walking along the Canal du Midi at Pezens. Also Château Pennaultier - a mini Versailles - was impressive and helpful staff in the restaurant / shop. Special mention to the lovely lady in the shop next door, always smiling and helpful even if our French was a bit limited!
The house is stunning. The vintage furniture and decor mixed with more modern touches made us feel immediately at home! We enjoyed the pool area very much as well! And the location was perfect as well. Being able to see the boats on the Canal du Midi from the living room makes the house even more cozy and amazing. We will definitely come back soon! Thank you.
Have had a great two weeks here in your wonderful house. Very spacious and well-appointed, tasteful and comfortable. Boys have thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We have appreciated tranquility and privacy. We have enjoyed exploring the area and sampling the local cuisine. Restaurant recommendations include Hotel-Restaurant du Château in Campagne, Auberge Médiévale Audrix and for rustic but delicious farmhouse cuisine - Auberge Rebeyrotte near Pressigirac Vicq. Another amazing stay at Maison Baleyssagues where we were very warmly hosted by Frédéric and his team. Such a peaceful location, sitting proudly on the hill top with panaramic views. Very spacious gardens topped with a beautiful pool and it’s own water fountain. Inside the villa nothing is left to chance with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. Looking at the pictures only tell half the story, it’s a superb place, if you don’t book early you’ll miss your chance as this place is always full, I wonder why?
The most tranquil spot to spend a holiday next to a perfect pool, eating, drinking and relaxing. Stunning house and gardens, we didn't want to leave.

What an amazing week we have spent in your villa! We visited to celebrate Shona’s 60th birthday and it was the absolute perfect spot. We have had an amazing week here: sunning by the pool, reading in the wicker chairs, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, BBQing in the outdoor kitchen and drinking wine just about everywhere!! The villa is very well equipped with every kitchen supply you’d need, ample fridge space, excellent Wi-Fi throughout, fabulous pool and spacious bedrooms. Philippe was a wonderful host – helpful and quick replies to any questions. We loved our two breakfast supply drops, especially the personalised loaves and ginger cake! Thank you for arranging a wonderful dinner at La Tour in Montady and a lovely wine tasting at Saint-Chinian. Also the weather updates were helpful. Our family dog Ivy also had a lovely week here with lots of space for her to run around. Think the cats mentioned in previous entries wisely were more distant during her stay!! Thank you again for everything and we are already thinking about coming back!
We had a great time at Dale and his wife's house. Very comfortable, the main house and the cottage are for 6 people: 3 spacious and very beautiful bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, it is very spacious and the amenities are quality. The accommodation is tastefully renovated and everything is thought out to ensure a great stay. The pool is great! It's very quiet and peaceful, a real place to rest and recharge. These are beautiful things to see on the surroundings, but you have to drive a little. Dale and his wife are caring hosts, they left us a nice basket filled with goodies when we arrived. If we have a chance, we'll be happy to come back! You can go there without a second thought!
