We were able to have a great week with friends at this house, which matched the photos perfectly. The host is very accommodating and accommodating. Amenities are complete, different living spaces are spacious, the pool area is a real plus. I'd recommend it!
Well, when Beverley told me she wanted to bring our children and grandchildren for a 'once in a lifetime' holiday, to celebrate our forthcoming 50th wedding anniversary in October, I must be honest I was negative and full of foreboding! But... Domaine de Nérige! Wow, what a place Bev found while I was moping around saying this won’t work. Not only was the location, 'in the middle of nowhere' absolutely perfect but the house was just beautiful with every facility we could possibly have wanted not to mention Sandie and David constantly going the extra mile if we needed advice. Thank you both for being the perfect hosts. We have not one negative word to say about this beautiful property - the rooms were comfortable, cooled where necessary with AC, the plethora of bathrooms is nothing short of extraordinary. Showers perfect and the supply of local wine and your own olive oil is truly the nicest touch. The games room, the space for kids to play on the terrace culminating in the fantastic pool was everything kids and the whole family would want. We didn’t need to leave here and, in fact, we probably did spend more time here that we would have in a 'run of the mill' villa. So finally, thank you to you both. We would love to see you both again but it would not be with such a heavy group of 'hangers on' although Bev’s decision for us to all be together this year was an inspirational one which worked perfectly. Everyone LOVED it.
Thank you so much for the most amazing weeks stay in Piglet Barn. We honestly had the best time, a perfect family holiday. Thank you for being the most welcoming, warm and charming hosts, you looked after us so well. Thank you for drinks in your home, it was so much fun. We all enjoyed the stay at the villa. We liked the location - both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pézenas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc) Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football! It was also nice to have a pool - although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa. We liked the fact that you contacted us personally - it offered us reassurance prior to our trip - thanks for your help. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit the villa again. Lovely place for us to spend a week. Villa Kali is very comfortable and well equipped.
A superb stay, we all had a wonderful time, super nice pool, significant air conditioning (at night) even if the electricity rate on arrival seemed exorbitant to us. Eva is very responsive and this is a plus for a peaceful arrival. We were 14 and the house is really adapted, the kitchen is very functional with everything you need to cook well! We will come back (we are already thinking about it).
We had a wonderful time at Villa Estephe. As we mentioned while there, this is about our sixth visit to the area so we were very well acquainted with its beauty. As you know, the weather was fantastic, even a little too hot in the second week, so shade from the trees and air conditioning were both very welcome. The accommodation is excellent and very comfortable. If we visit the area again, we will certainly be considering your property. Thank you for our stay.
We have had a fantastic stay in Rieux-Minervois thanks to your kind and generous hospitality! The Loft is beautiful and filled with everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Fantastic holiday in this fantastic mini-château. Having recently arrrived from California and staying with our French in-laws, it was a truly amazing holiday. Lots of eating, drinking, swimming, tourism and of course table-tennis. A bientôt.
Our stay was as much about the garden as the stunning house, the electronic gate at the entrance worked a treat each time we used it. Three of us each had a bedroom and all the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and lounge were fully equipped so we wanted for nothing. We linked our laptop in to the CD via a two-to-one 3.5mm jack lead which we take everywhere, so were able to listen to our collection of music through quite a reasonable hi-fi system. The large TV, although not HD, was great for any English programmes you just couldn't miss, even on holiday! We made the ten minute scenic drive up to the boulangerie at Bertric-Buree for our baguettes, croissants and pain-a-raisins most days as there are no shops in Lusignac, just a bar restaurant. The croissants were enjoyed sitting outside the kitchen / living room area on the middle floor, which has a stunning view. For our first week, the temperatures were in the mid-thirties so it was lovely to cool off in the pool. With the pool being quite long, you could actually swim, rather than just splash about which was great to keep a little bit of fitness going. Now the garden. As having a very keen interest in natural history, especially butterflies, we contacted the owner and asked if he could leave the grass uncut, so that any wild flowers would be there to attract butterflies for our photography. He duly obliged. This resulted in a count of thirty one species of butterfly just in the garden, with another five spotted whilst out on our travels. Non-British species included Scarce Swallowtail, Swallowtail, Pearly Heath, Mallow Skipper, Map and the star of the show, Large Blue, which were extinct in Britain until being reintroduced recently. The grass areas provided a fantastic environment for butterflies and other insects. This little area truly is a spectacular insect haven. This is without the lavender hedge which runs down one side of the entire drive. No red squirrels, but we watched birds of prey circling as the farmer cut the field in the valley and amongst other species of birds, there were a pair of Golden Orioles which flew by regularly. If you are looking for a modern house in an attractive location with lovely pool, lovely view and ridiculous number of butterflies, this is it!
If you like the charm of the old, you will be won over. We particularly appreciated the layout of the house and the exterior. The fact that the swimming pool is in the low garden creates both security but also that the house remains very calm when there is commotion at the swimming pool! We played the most memorable games of ping pong in the shade of the majestic cypress trees and the children spent hours illuminating the castle, the immediate proximity of which is magical.
Fantastic Water Temperature. There isn't much to add to the previous reviews except to say, thank you Denise and Michael for a great week. To be able to walk straight from the house into the pool and not have to brace yourself for the water temperature was fantastic! The apartment was wonderful with real attention to detail and of course everything was spotless.

Thank you for a wonderful two weeks at your beautiful home, we fell in love with Les Marquises as soon as we stepped out of the car the gorgeous gardens, plants, flowers and the views! Then the house where to start, the clever beautiful sense of style and decoration in every room is enchanting, warm and welcoming and although we enjoyed visiting Nyons, Vaison la Romaine and Orange, the best part of our holiday was just relaxing around the swimming pool and enjoying this outstandingly beautiful place. Great holiday. We had a wonderful holiday in Mouans Sartoux. The villa was exactly as described and well equipped. We loved the heated pool and watched many a glorious sunset from the terrace. The owner, was extremely approachable and helpful all the way and tiny niggles got sorted out very quickly with the help of Mireille, the lovely housekeeper. We will definitely come back.
Wonderful! We just loved our week at this fabulous home. We are a Canadian family of 8. 5 adults and 3 kids ( ages 13, 10 and 9). After eight days in Paris, this was the perfect place to chill. The setting is fabulous. We had a spectacular view of Grasse and the surroundings and we enjoyed many glorious sunsets. The patio area really was the winner. Spacious with lots of room for everyone. The house was very well equipped and the owners were very responsive to any little concerns or questions we had. Great pool. Kind hosts. Highly recommended.

My wife and I, along with our eldest granddaughter, spent a truly memorable week at Maison Baleyssagues. For an introduction to the region of unspoilt bastide towns of upper Lot-et Garonne, eastern Gironde and Dordogne, Villa Baleyssagues provides a superb base. It commands a beautiful panoramic view of the open countryside in all directions, which includes the extraordinary Château de Duras, itself an unmissable example of national, regional and local dedication to conservation of cultural heritage. Celebrated names like Saint Emilion, Bergerac, Sarlat-la-Canéda and Bordeaux, itself, also feature in a list of must-see’s offering a variety of attractions for every taste – and all within manageable reach. (Speaking of taste, do not miss le Pain de maïs at the boulangerie in Duras. It is to die for, easy to cut into toast-able slices and retains its moistness for a week.) (Frederic will vouch for this.) We cannot praise the villa without including its Property Manager, Frederic Guiraud, most welcoming and helpful and always available at request on short notice. His welcome pack is the most thoughtful and generous we have ever encountered over many years of villa rentals in France. He has managed to compile a bound guide book featuring excellent introductions and practical visitor information on a multitude of towns and notable sites throughout the region. It obviously reflects considerable work and must be the most comprehensive visitor guide we have experienced anywhere. As for the villa, itself, it does justice to all the pictures you will have seen in the property listing. We found it impeccably clean and in excellent repair. We thoroughly enjoyed eating outside on the terraces, luxuriating and playing in and by the pool and feasting on the views, especially in the evenings after a busy day of touring. The beautifully tuned piano must also be mentioned for those who enjoy playing on a fine instrument or just gently tinkling for leisurely entertainment.
We stayed in this beautiful house in June of this year Wow what a find ! Situated in the magnificent village of Pezenas the house is only a few minutes walk away from amazing antique shops , Boulangeries, and craft shops. The house itself is perfect throughout with a great outdoor pool and lovely outdoor area for eating and even has separate games room too ! Carcassonne and Montpellier are easily accessible and should be explored! So much to do in the area, we will be back! Would highly recommend.
