We had a wonderful stay at Kim's place. The house is perfect, the terrace is quiet and has magnificent views of the fields. The little ones had great fun with the goats, geese, chickens and pony!
Le Petit Palais is a beautiful place to stay, in a very peaceful area. It had everything we needed and was perfect for a relaxing family holiday.
Well equipped, nice pool and amazing views! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa. Corinne is a great host, quick to respond and accommodating. The house and especially the kitchen is very well equipped, it had everything we needed and we felt very welcomed. We loved spending the day by the pool and taking in the picture perfect views from the top terrace during the evenings. Seillans and the neighbouring area are a true gem, the nature, nice markets and plenty of local produce. Quiet area but full of life, just perfect. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!
Our second stay here in the Cottage and it does not disappoint. The pool is just bliss. It has been very hot. We kept the shutters closed to keep the house cold. It worked. We noticed a distinct absence of mosquitoes this year too. This area has so much to offer we filled two weeks with amazing adventures. Thanks to previous guests, we found Fanlac, a truly beautiful village not far from here. Plazac too with its medicinal garden. On our final day we discovered Coly-St-Amand, an incredible little village with the most amazing fortified church. In this village, there is a lovely vegetarian café. The food is delicious and homemade: "Café Rapiette". As fo the bigger days out we once again were won over by the beautiful Jardins of Eyrignac. If you love gardens, this is one of the best in the world. the same can be said for jardins de Marqueyssac, which are well worth visiting. This time around, we visited Beynac. The château is our favourite. The views are quite incredible and you can see Richard The Lionheart's bedroom. Oh, quite a thing. In the village, is a superb restaurant, "La Petite Tonnelle". again, a superb vegetarian menu alongside the usual dishes, duck and foie gras. Nothing, on the château front can match Château de Losse in the village, it is absolutely breathtaking. Our second visit was just as amazing as our first. What a position it occupies. On this trip we also visited La-Roque-Saint-Christophe and Château de Hautefort, well worth returning to both as they are fascinating and there is always something new to learn. Our most interesting an remarkable find was "Cabanes du Breuil" don't miss it! This will leave you amazed! As for eating, we had superb food virtually everywhere. With no hesitation the very best place to eat is the Relais de Montignac in the forum. The presentation of the food is Masterchef level, but the price for three courses is less than a main course in the UK. It is excellent. As for markets, Montignac on a Wednesday is fun. Terrasson is also good, definitely bigger but after it you can go up to the Jardins de l'Imagination and they are fabulous. the Town is lovely. Make sure you walk along the older parts. Enjoy the cottage, enjoy the love, enjoy the town, enjoy the region. It's all amazing.
What an amazing holiday! Le Pigat was beautiful and very well equipped with extra little touches. This all made our visit special. The bread delivery was an absolute delight. Many special memories made by the pool and we found the cave! Also visits to Bergerac, Périgueux, Monbazillac, Mouleydier, Issigeac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme, Château de Bridoire, Saint-Émilion and Brantôme. Not forgetting Eymet and Trémolat. All beautiful places and worth a visit. Many special restaurants too. Some rustic, some very gourmet. We will miss being here in the warmth, by the pool and in wonderful surroundings. Many thanks.
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. My husband and I rented this charming house for 2 weeks in August with our 2 young daughters and we are already planning a return trip next year! Firstly, the pool is stunning. It's huge and spotless and we could barely get the girls out of it! The house is big and spacious and the newly decorated bathrooms made me feel like I was staying at Soho House! The house is situated in a lovely little town on the Canal du Midi. There is a huge wine shop next door and several bars and restaurants within walking distance on the quay. We had day trips to the beach at Gruissan and Leucate which were stunning Mediterranean resorts and barely 40 minutes away.

Stunning property overlooking lake. Property is in great location but not isolated, walking distance to bar, restaurant, Boulangerie and takeaway pizza shop (or 2 mins in car). Property is in excellent condition and is very clean and well looked after, the pool is great for a cooling dip, the area around the pool is also modern and clean with nice furniture too. Comfortable beds with crisp bedding, everything has been thought of with a lovely modern kitchen, unique dining table, comfortable clean sofa. Great views overlooking the lake but still very private. The house also stays quite cool as it's shaded by the trees which was great in the heatwave. The owners are really helpful and take pride in their special property. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay again when visiting this beautiful area of France *****
We have had a really lovely week at Château Richelieu celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary. It really couldn't have been any better. Thank you! Surpassed our high expectations!
At Les Oliviers du Sud we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
We have so enjoyed our week here in our very own secret garden. Who would imagine there would be such a magical place waiting for us, just a second from the road? After many moments of uncertainty, it has been a huge tonic to relax in the sunshine in this beautiful garden and enjoy relaxing with our daughters. We haven’t explored very much beyond the Loft, but the countryside is beautiful, the wine and food delicious and the canoeing trip exhilarating and at times a little scary! Karen and Russell are the perfect hosts - always present but never in your space. They have created a perfect holiday home - immaculate and brilliantly equipped, and the fridge and cupboards generously filled to enhance your welcome and stay. We have enjoyed hours by the perfect pool and will fondly remember our 2021 say here. Hopefully we will be back! Thank you, Karen and Russell for everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Pézenas. The villa was superb, well maintained, modern with all up to date appliances. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow but this in no way affected our enjoyment of the holiday. The town was just as we imagined it to be, typically French with an attractive historic centre. Good restaurants, shops and bars all within easy walking distance.

Wonderful. It felt very safe for the little ones who enjoyed being able to roam free. Very well maintained and everything well thoughout. Perfect set up - a real home from home! We had everything we needed. The pool was a hit with adults and kids alike. The canapés were articularly good and greatly appreciated, they were tailored for a dietary requirements. Briliant week.

We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We thought that the Loft was lovely. We've had a great two weeks in beautiful accommodation. We've enjoyed exploring the region but have left plenty to do to give us a reason to come back. Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much.
We could not have made a better decision than to come to Villa La Baronne to spend the end of the year. The house is magnificent, the location unbeatable both for the surroundings (the river, the forest, the small towns...) and the proximity to Toulouse. The house has the services you expect and much more. An excellent experience that I hope we can repeat again. Thanks to Isabelle and Philippe for offering Villa La Baronne guests a five-star stay.
