A truly lovely place and charming hosts. The kind of secret tingle you get when you stumble on a gem didn’t leave us all week. The photos don’t do it justice and we felt completely at home. Nothing but the sound of birdsong and laughing children and the sight of a deer in the extensive gardens were very special. In a glorious part of France with countless places to stay this is definitely one not to miss.
We have been staying in gites and villas in France for many, many years and Mas des Rivailles is one of the best. Very clean, comfortable with everything in place for a lovely relaxing holiday. The pool was great but didn't get used as much as we would have liked due to the inclement weather we experienced for the two weeks we were there. The welcome pack was an unexpected surprise and much appreciated. Frédéric was helpful and informative as were our friendly neighbours (no English spoken) but it gave us a chance to practice our limited French. Lovely little villages to visit and good restaurants, Clement in Lauzun was a favourite. Fully recommend this property.
I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Villa Bellara. It was immaculate and is perfectly positioned to access to supermarket, patisserie, beaches and numerous quality restaurants and a short walk to the train station - which we used most days to visit other coastal resorts. The villa was considerably larger than we expected and was well equipped for our stay. The quiet residential location was a bonus after having busy days out. All in all a perfect property. The chateau is magnificent - very large and comfortable. It is finished to a very high standard with beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, high quality bedding and towels, and well equipped kitchen and dining room. The location is quiet with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. Quentin is a wonderful host. He was eager to make our stay memorable by offering to organize restaurant bookings, local vineyard tours and wine tastings. Thank you, Quentin!

We have had a fantastic time staying at Maison Brunet despite the heatwave. We have been out exploring beautiful Bastide towns and enjoying wonderful food on offer in the local markets. It has been lovely to come back after a hot day and cool down in the pool.
We had a wonderful time in this fully equipped house where you couldn't get bored.
Thank you once again for a most wonderful month in your home. The second time around has been even more memorable than the first and the château has been filled with constant fun and laughter. It is a truly special place.

House: Fantastic. Idyllic. Perfect. Classical. Beautiful. Spacious. Practical. Comfortable. Beautiful area for touring (Brantôme, Jarnac). Garden: Very child friendly. Garden Jenga etc. Clean and very safe. Beautiful pool and alfresco dining areas. Also adult friendly. V good Gas BBQ.

We have returned from 2 perfect weeks holiday at La Cigalière in Servian. Really lovely house, perfect pool, would go back in a flash.

We had the most wonderful time in your lovely old house. Although there were only 4 of us we made the most of the available outside space, eating each meal in a different area, depending on the shade. You were the most perfect hosts and we hope to see you again one day.
Both (the house and grounds) are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for parents and children alike. Despite a lot of activities in and around the area, we chose to stay 'in' more than we had expected because of how good the house and grounds were. Words fall short to paint a suitable picture of this delightful place. A most luxurious apartment in an extremely desirable location on the French Riviera. The apartment has all the amenities that one could wish for and the owners are superb - helpful, accommodating and simply nice people. The pool is fantastic and should you wish to discover the area - well - the location is perfect. We had a great stay at the villa and it is, as of now, our place of choice when vacationing in the South of France.
We stayed in the the villa in Cagnes-sur-Mer and I just wanted to say what a superb holiday we had. The villa was absolutely perfect with everything we could possibly need. It's ideally situated if you do not want to have a car as shops, restaurants, beaches, train station are only 5-10 minutes walk away. We would certainly recommend this villa.
Breathtaking. What a hidden gem! All the fotos of Château Velouse do not do the place justice. From the minute you enter the gates and see this magnificent château, glowing in the sunshine at the end of a sweeping drive, you know you are in for a treat. Our wonderful hosts. Claire and Phil greeted us and gave us a tour of the main building and grounds. The interior is exquisitely appointed. All the rooms are large and meticulously clean. The bedrooms are huge and comfortable without being over-fussy. The bathroom - lion clawed bath and walk-in shower - what more could you ask for after a hard day sitting beside the spotlessly clean and well-maintained outdoor pool. There's plenty of places within an hour to explore close by, so if sun-worshipping isn't your thing, like me, go to Bourges and wander around this medieval city, All in all, Château Velouse is an experience I'll never forget and one I hope to revisit
This was not our first visit to La Barde and yet again we have enjoyed a wonderful family holiday. The house has such character whilst being both spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well resourced and the sitting areas both inside and outside comfortably sit 10 people. The garden is beautiful and filled with an array of varied and colourful plants and shrubs whilst the pool is large and cleaned regularly by the owner. Yet again we enjoyed some lovely days out to Saint-Émilion, Brantôme and Cognac to name a few - and of course some pleasant evening drinks in Verteillac. Thank you - we have treasured memories of a fantastic holiday!
La Cigaliere is a very spacious, calm, well appointed and comfortable holiday accommodation for up to 8 people in the lovely Languedoc. We have enjoyed many lovely evening meals around the family table a L’exterieur following a late afternoon dip in the large, safe and welcoming swimming pool. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and well appointed and the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. Our cars were safe in the large and self contained garage and games and cinema style watching were enjoyed in the large family den. If you enjoy family time in high quality accommodation within the historic Languedoc with wine tasting on your doorstep, then La Cigaliere will suit you very well. Thank you for a delightful week in a truly charming cottage. Even if the weather was a wee bit shy about showing the sun the house more than made up for it with its character. The 2 restaurants in the village are excellent! (Remember a torch if you're coming after dinner!). Sarlat on a Wednesday (market day) well worth a visit. Saint-Léon is a pretty place with a big choice of "eateries". Lascaux IV is interesting and well presented.! Many thanks Caterina and Steve!

Thank you both for the most wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. We’ve had the most incredible week exploring the South of France – an area we love – and discovering new places. This spot is extremely special and we’ve relished the relaxing days and evenings spent here (made even more special by the sighting of a wild boar with babies and your marvellous set up for the gorgeous cats) – thank you for showing us this! The secluded spot, surrounded by woodland, an aromatic and fragrant garden attracting many butterflies, a beautiful pool and terrace area is somewhere we won’t forget and would love to come back to. Everything has been thought of at this place which makes it so homely. Everything from kitchen utensils and supplies to the BBQ, bowls and the TV set-up – the place has it all. You have both been such friendly and discrete hosts, allowing us such privacy and the personality you have stamped on the place (from plants, to artwork and sculptures as well as the lovely cats) makes this space so full of character too. Thanks again and we wish you both the best – hopefully we’ll return in the future!
This villa is amazing. The accommodation is fabulous with a lovely kitchen/dining/lounge area, comfortable beds, great showers and very effective air-conditioning. The pool and outside areas are excellent. We were a family group ranging from 15 to 72 years and we all had a wonderful time. The owners are friendly and welcoming, there if you need them, otherwise extremely discreet. We would not hesitate to recommend this property.
We had a wonderful holiday here in glorious Sarlat. The house is perfect with beautiful furnishings, well equipped kitchen and amazing showers. The pool was just what was needed after a long days exploring the wonderful sights of the Dordogne (Gouffre de Padirac being a highlight) The location of the house is perfect, walking distance into town yet very peaceful surrounded by a beautiful mature garden. We hope to return next year. Thank you Jackie and Geoff for a wonderful holiday.
The villa was just as described and was perfect in every way. We chose the villa because everything was on one level and the pool and terrace area were located very close to the main house. We had the most wonderful time and the arrangement of the bedrooms meant we had plenty of space to relax in. The BBQ area was well used. The air conditioning was welcomed during the warm Mediterranean nights. It was also the first villa we have stayed in where we were able to walk to the local town in order to buy our daily croissants. The service we had from Pure France and Philippe was exceptional.
