What an amazing mill. Fitted to an outstanding standard - a true home away from home.
We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. We look forward to each visit, availability ( this villa and ours ) depending. Thanks as ever for enabling our visit and to the dedicated team who prepare and clean in preparation. Much appreciated.
A lovely family week in this perfect house in an idyllic situation on the edge of the charming village of Cucugnan. The house is well-equipped and the pool is fabulous! The barbecue and table-tennis also much appreciated. The house is a short walk into the village where we visited two bars and an excellent family -run restaurant (Auberge du Vigneron). Also enjoyed ‘Burger Friday’ at the bar. The village shop has all the basics. We also did a ‘degustation’ (wine-tasting) in the village and visited two of the nearby fascinating Cathar Castles – there is plenty to do in the area but the house is also perfect for relaxing. We will be back!
In the middle of the vineyards in the countryside is this wonderful house, with a heated pool and a whirlpool. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to indulge in culinary delights. Within a very short time (25 minutes) you can reach the beaches of Vias and Valras. Large cities such as Béziers can be reached in 15 minutes. The hosts were very friendly and we really appreciated the communication to learn a little more about the area and the people. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stop by again soon.

We had a brilliant restful time at Villa Funel as part of a longer tour of France. The location of the property was so tranquil with a beautiful garden and pool to relax in when not out sight seeing. The furnishings, towels and bedding were of good quality and there was plenty of everything you could possibly need. Carole and Jean Luc were very relaxed, friendly and helpful but we really seemed to have the place to ourselves with not a soul in sight which was perfect. We hope to return one day.
What a wonderful stay, lovely house, garden and pool so close to Sarlat town. Local shops are excellent, recommend a sneaky martini at Cafe Le Gambella just down the road on the right hand side. Butchers are excellent, cooked some delicious meals using their produce. Sarlat market is great for veg and cheese. Try the walking tour of Sarlat, pop into the tourist office to pick up a map, definitely worth while as you will venture down hidden alleyways and discover the history of Sarlat. Thank you Jackie and Geoff for the use of your beautiful home and giving us wonderful memories. We hope to return.
An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. This must be the perfect summer holiday Villa for a small family. As a couple we were joined by some friends for part of our stay and we had a great time in the sun. The O 13 Clochers restaurant in Monteton is under new management and serves superb food. Hostellerie des Ducs good quality- and the restaurant in Seyches is incredible value. We are sure to return.
Beautiful renovation with the charm of old stones and the modernity of interior materials. Premium interior equipment. Absolute calm, without proximity to the road. Very comfortable for this property. Christophe available, nice and helpful. It was perfect.
What a beautiful 'home away from home' you have created here. This first holiday has been everything we could have wished for and more. Your hospitality and company have been wonderful and matched only by the breathtaking accommodation and gardens. You have thought of everything and we have wanted for nothing and the delicious birthday cake was a particular highlight! We can't wait to see what the future holds for the main house.
Le Presbytère genuinely exceeded our expectations in all areas. We primarily booked this property for the covered eating and relaxing area adjacent to a fabulous heated pool and the number of bedrooms. The history and setting of the property and it's views to the rear over beautiful countryside, were a real bonus and joy. The wildlife was of real interest to us all and the table tennis was played regularly by us all. Mark and Amanda were friendly and keen to help with any queries we had. Thank you again and in particular for providing the electric fans which were essential during such a hot period in July. We don't usually return to the same property on holiday but just might make an exception with Le Presbytère!
We had a great one week vacation in Maison Lemance. The house is fully equipped and you will find everything you need in the kitchen, games room for the children, great pool and even a ping-pong table. There is a big and beautiful garden that is great for the children to run around, while we were drinking wine on the balcony. The owner left us a list of recommendations for activities and restaurants in the region which was very useful. We highly recommend staying in Maison Lemance.

Excellent, everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. It was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. We had a fantastic holiday and will book again for next year. Thank you both so much.
Another lovely holiday at the Loft du Vigneron, this time for 2 weeks. It was lovely to see Karen and Russell again. They were charming and hospitable just like before Everything was perfect for us and the weather was amazing, swam every day in the beautiful pool. Karen booked some restaurants for us, recommended by her, and they were excellent. Highly recommend this property, the best ever.
Amazing property - very comfortable and well-equipped. We spent an amazing week in Rully. The property is beautifully decorated and a real home-from-home in terms of comfort and the facilities there. The outdoor space is great - four different seating areas depending on where you want to be. Sigrid and her family go out of their way to make sure you have all the information prior to arriving. Can't recommend highly enough.
What a remarkable project this house has bee ! Spacious and comfortable with fantastic garden and pool. We enjoyed visiting Bordeilles Castle and beautiful river, plus Brantome and paddle-boarding. We loved the market in Riberac, but the best of all was being here. So sad to leave !
Great stay! We were 10 and loved our week Le Mas de Combet. Swimming pool, bar, large kitchen, living rooms, bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everything was perfect, clean, in line with the photos and the host was great in their communication and advice. Definitely won over for future reunions with friends. Amazing stay for our 10-people holidays. From the house to the host everything was perfect. Thanks a lot.

We've had an amazing time thanks. Visited as many places as the kids will tolerate and we somehow did the Renoir museum without breaking anything!! They’ve both absolutely loved the pool and their swimming has improved loads. Our youngest, Hal, has gone from tentatively swimming 5m to now confidently doing 20 lengths without stopping. We had a thoroughly enjoyable family gathering at Le Presbytère. It is a beautiful, atmospheric, ancient house set in large grounds. A great place for peace and rest or equally perfect for a gathering of friends or family. We found it so relaxing to sit around in the garden or at the poolside and there is lots of safe space for the kids to play (table tennis, boules and of course the pool were great successes). The house is amazing - such a sense of history and unusual features like old tiles, fireplaces and a lovely old oak beam running across the upstairs landing. It's very roomy so, even if you are staying with a group, it never feels crowded. The surrounding area has lots of great restaurants and fresh produce from the markets. There is excellent cycling and walking around the network of country roads and footpaths. Also the various bastides (12th century fortified towns) are really fascinating. We loved Bonaguil, Monflanquin and Vilareal but there are so many to choose from and they all have their own character. It's also less than an hour to the Dordogne. We had such a great, relaxing and enjoyable time at Le Presbytère and we hope to return in the future. Thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday.
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.
Really enjoyed it, bbq's every night, would have loved to have stayed another week.
I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Rusty Shears with friends. The hosts Kirstie and Russell have thought of everything and are on hand if you need anything at all. Beautiful decor, spacious living area and bedrooms. Comfortable beds and powerful showers. The patio and outdoor area is also lovely with great views across surrounding land. The gite is in a lovely peaceful location, but close to historic towns if you like to explore. We also went on a fantastic local wine tasting experience recommended by Russell.
