Thank You - If ever there was a place in which a family could be together after such a long time, if ever there was a place in which the sense of welcome, of peace and of the love of many generations, if ever there was a place in one's imagination of such beauty, both within and without ancient walls, then Le Malardier is that place. We have been sublimely happy and this week will remain hugely precious to us all.

We loved the house! Very equipped, very well decorated, the exterior is incredible with a space by the pool very pleasant. And the area is beautiful.
The château has been a fabulous place to stay - a unique combination of grandeur and homely comfort. The facilities are superb and typically rural French. The owner received us graciously into her home with a warm welcome. Jean-Marie was a marvel - really helpful and quick to respond to any requests we had. The local area has so much history all around yet there is something for everyone. Châteaux galore everywhere. Would definitely recommend canoeing the Dordogne - if you can manage the trek to canoe past Castelnaud that would be an amazing trip - we set off from St Cyprien which was great too, but the views past Castelnaud would be amazing. We have been lucky with the weather so the children (and adults) have had lots of fun by the pool. Thank you for your hospitality.
We had two excellent weeks. In this setting and the house which are beautiful. We benefitted 100% from all the beautiful things of everything here. We love donkeys, cute and kind. Too bad we didn't see squirrels, but we saw herons and different kinds of birds. We made beautiful excursions to Nérac, Clermont-Dessous, the Agen canal bridge and the garden of the water lilies of Latour-Marliac and seen many ponds. We will miss everything, the calm, the beautiful place, the environment and the splendid swimming pool. Everything was perfect. Thank you Karine and Pascal for everything, for your kindness and service, your attention and the delights offered on arrival.
Had a wonderful week with friends in the magnificent Château Velouse. A lovely place to relax (by the heated swimming pool, in the sumptuous rooms and the very well appointed kitchen - not to mention strolling round the extensive grounds!). Hosts Phil and Claire could not have been more welcoming and have provided copious notes about things to do and places to see. Such was the relaxed atmosphere (and the heat!) we hardly felt the need to leave the château. Our suite was so grand, that it was even hard to leave the bedroom!
What a wonderful week by the pool! Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will miss Amber! We had a great week in this lovely family friendly house. Sue was very welcoming and hospitable, lent us buckets and spades for the beach! We will miss Amber!

Eight days at Malardier after the brash noise of the Hamptons in August was underlined as I walked past the dried sunflowers. What was that sound? Only a breeze moving stealthily through the stalks hushing its way to the end of the meadow. An hours walk completed, a years stress melted away.
We had a great time at this big house. It is very well-equipped for a dozen people. The pool is very appreciated, as well as the amenities offered (pétanque, badminton, ping pong...). Shops are accessible by car. The environment is very quiet, overlooking the fields and the forest which makes the house all the more pleasant.
Very good stay in the land of ducks and especially with Nath and Rémy! Very good address to keep... We will come back. Hello to Lilou and thank you for her welcome and to Nath and Rémy.
We have all enjoyed staying in your magnificent Maison Richelieu. The house and village of Richelieu is a wonderful location for exploring the Loire Valley which we have all done. The décor of the maison is fantastic and we have taken ideas with us for what we can do in our own houses when we return home. Thank you again for our time here!
We had a pleasant stay, the region is magnificent and reveals some treasures. Up to you to discover them !!! Lots of activities to do (pony riding, boat rides, Europarc, Lunaparc, jetski, city visits: Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Valras Plage... But our stay would not have been complete without talking about this wonderful villa which offers incredible comfort. The swimming pool is great and for relaxation, it's the best! Thanks to the staff. Thank you to the owners who understand the pleasures of their tenants. A big thank-you!
Lovely old place restored by Frederic. We were lucky enough to be there for the festival in Sauve which was great! Far too hot to go hiking in the hills but managed trips to Uzes ( beautiful) and of course the Haribo museum for the kids. Pool cover needs 2 people and doesn’t come all the way back but it’s for safety. Kitchen well equipped for a large group. Really enjoyed our stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. Les Fumerates encompasses everything you dream about for a vacation on the Côte d'Azur. We were met by Michael and his wife who gave us a full tour of Les Fumerates. We unpacked and got to soak in the beauty of the place. From the moment we stepped in, we could tell that much love and care had been put into their home, down to the smallest of details. The location, absolutely perfect - next to one of the most beautiful hill towns in Southern France: Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Lovely place to explore and have an al fresco dinner. Don't miss Restaurant Le Tilleul and La Colombe d'Or. But also don't miss the chance of cooking your own dinner and eating al fresco at the villa. The view of the pool area, city and the azure sea in the distance all add to the dining experience! Les Fumerates is located in a perfect spot - away from the hustle and bustle of Nice, Cannes and Monte Carlo and yet easily accessible to these locations (truly). A supermarket, boulangerie and great shopping mall are all a short drive down the hill. We took the opportunity to see as much as we could see and as many places as we could see - yes, I need a vacation from my vacation! During France's heatwave, we were happy to return to the villa which had air conditioning in the main living area and all of the bedrooms. We also made good use of the gorgeous swimming pool. Reluctantly, we had to leave Les Fumerates and continue our journey to Provence. Without a doubt, we would like to return - but next time at a more leisurely pace! Depending on your itinerary for visiting the French Riviera, as there are so many places to see (we didn't even make it to Italy), I would urge you to consider 2 weeks at Les Fumerates. You won't regret it! Truly a memorable experience that will last a lifetime!
Thank you for taking care of our family. The house is absolutely amazing. Such wonderful memories have been made by us all. We so enjoyed the pool, night market and beautiful sunsets.
Great place in a lovely part of the Lot valley. The house comfortably can sleep 18 or so. Lovely pool and grounds with a sports hall with plenty of options to keep kids busy. Must have a car when staying. The owners Richard and Nicky are very helpful if need anything at all. Lovely wine cave as well (stocked). Great week had by all.
Château La Roche-Posay is a very special place. The gite is super comfy and well appointed, with fantastic views over the river Creuse. Definitely worthy of its five star rating. Laura and Ian are highly professional, experienced chateau hosts who know how to look after their guests.

Great place to stay and perfect for the three families we had on our trip. The children loved the pool and boules court and the adults loved sitting on the patio with a glass of rosé watching the sun set. Look forward to coming back.
