Galina was a great and accommodating host and we appreciated our stay at her villa. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. Just note that the connected rooms on the first floor have separate entrance. More generally and even thought there are a couple of elements which could be improved, we certainly will recommend renting the villa.
Thank you for your hospitality and enabling us to stay in this beautiful house. During our stay we have very much enjoyed L'abbaye de Fontevraud - so beautiful and wondrous to explore for us and our children, Chinon - such character, even in the rain, the sweet asset wine Coteaux du Layon (c'est magnifique, merci), Azay le Rideau - such a beautiful village, many interesting shops, beautifully presented streets, Mona Pizza in Saumur, despite the name the pizzas (wood-fired oven) were incredible! the Church in Cunault - stunning 14th century, Villandry château gardens - the grounds were stunning, Montreuil ville basse - a lovely village, stunning château in the centre and a great pottery studio, the pool and garden! Enjoyed by us all every day. The gîte was a home-from-home, a real pleasure to stay in. We hope to return here one day!
Wonderful family holiday in this stunning location. Perfect house for a triathlon! Would love to come back when our grandson is old enough to use all the facilities.
Wonderful holiday properly perfect for our family - the pool being the favourite followed by the games room. Something for everyone - Grandad being an artist was very taken with the views. The house is very well equipped and thoughtfully restored to keep the rustic French home feel to it while offering all the modern additions. We are familiar with the area having owned a family holiday home outside Eymet and travelling to the area since 1972, much has changed over that time, some villages have almost disappeared and others have survived. Eymet being one. A fantastic Bastide town with the best pizzeria - well worth a visit. Bergerac is another great town to spend an afternoon. The 'petit train' leaves from the quays and provides a guided tour in English. If you have enough time there are also boat trips. We would advise booking for dinner as it is a busy spot. The kayak rental in Pessac is another must, a great way to see the Dordogne River. And Saint Emilion was our highlight of the trip. Thank you to the host for your welcome on arrival and all the helpful updates and texts.
Wonderful house. Thank you for our wonderful stay. We were a large party of friends looking for somewhere scenic to spend a week together. We were excited when we booked but over the moon when we arrived to the beautiful house. The space works really well for a large group of people with multiple areas to comfortably sit and hang out. We had some delicious dinners and breakfasts (cooked in the well equipped kitchen and BBQ) out on the deck and the view made them even more magical. Even though the house is wonderful to relax and play in the pool in we found some lovely things to do in the surrounding area. There's a wonderful restaurant right by the house and kayaking and wake-boarding about an hour drive and some nice villages not far. Overall if you want a place that feels private and scenic and is still functional and comfortable then this an ideal place. We hope to come back soon!

11 of us rented Le Château de La Loire for four nights and it was amazing! We had access to the entire château and the spa. The art in the park was very unique and interesting. There are many wonderful surprises within the grounds.
What a fantastic week! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked, had everything we needed, particularly the outdoor area - BBQ every night! The staff could not be more helpful and we felt instantly welcome. We are going to book for next year when we get home!

Our first time here and we are rather proud of ourselves that we have discovered this gem. Its been unseasonably hot but the pool, house and gardens were up to the task. Wonderful spaces and wonderful Hosts. We hope that it will not be our last visit here, there is so much more to explore.
Great place, lots of space and wonderful views from the house. The whole house is very well equipped and comfortable - wonderful verandas! Lots of activities in the area for all ages - Claude greeted us on the first day and answered all of our questions and gave us lots of ideas of what to do.
Wonderful views - such a peaceful location and adore the little village. Facilities great. Everything we needed. Would have liked larger bath towels. Amazing food - loved it. Such a treat. Thank you. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The villa is light, airy and spacious. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, everything worked and there are beautiful views from the upstairs terrace. The garden is very attractive. We loved having four bathrooms. The booking process was easy and efficient. We were confident that if there had been a problem, Ian, the very pleasant property manager who lives nearby, would have quickly sorted it out. The newly installed Wi-Fi was very dependable. With the restaurants in the village and the beach not too far away we didn't need to travel very far from the house - besides, the garden and pool were too good to leave for long! There are also some lovely walks in the hills behind the villa. The heated pool was the icing on the cake as we could swim on the couple of cooler days too. Even my 85 year old mum went in. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and we would love to return.

Another amazing stay at Maison Baleyssagues where we were very warmly hosted by Frédéric and his team. Such a peaceful location, sitting proudly on the hill top with panaramic views. Very spacious gardens topped with a beautiful pool and it’s own water fountain. Inside the villa nothing is left to chance with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. Looking at the pictures only tell half the story, it’s a superb place, if you don’t book early you’ll miss your chance as this place is always full, I wonder why?
Belle Vue is a beautiful house in a fantastic location and offers everything that a holiday in the Dordogne requires. We have been there in the Winter, Spring and Summer it was perfect each time, close to the action but away from the Summer crowds. Great pool and sun terrace, perfect for watching the hot air balloons drift past in the evening. The views are unbelievable - cannot wait to go back.
A magnificent week in the charm of this marvellous house and the surrounding area of Les Marquises. Nothing was spared for our comfort and we take with us excellent memories of our visit. Thank-you.
Memorable stay. Beautiful property situated in a picturesque Provençal town in Var. The host is conscientious and helpful and his staff were very helpful.
A fantastic two week stay. The house is extremely homely and comfortable with more than enough room for four adults and threes kids. The pool is a great size for family fun - adults and kids alike made the most of it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful, fairytale cottage. The setting is superb, from the lovely gardens around the house to the graceful trees around the pool. The large pool was the perfect place to relax, with the temperatures in our week pushing 40 degrees. The cottage itself is cool and spacious and provided with every convenience required for a comfortable stay. The location, too, is ideal for exploring the area which has so many interesting historical sites and attractive villages to visit and enjoy. Our hosts Caterina and Stephen were friendly and welcoming. They took great care to give us complete privacy but were always close at hand if there was anything we needed. We have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful cottage and hope to be able to visit again in the future.

Had a great 2 weeks. The house and gardens / pool are amazing - fresh air, beautiful scenery and sitting out every evening was so relaxing! The house is so well equipped and the kids really enjoyed all the facilities. Would absolutely recommend Orchard Farmhoue to anyone coming to the region. Wonderful stay. Wonderful stay at a beautiful castle. Fascinating for adults and children! Lovely pool, and fun evenings with wine and food courtesy of the maitre de. Epicure trips a great outing for little ones. And we ventured to Fontennay, Chablis, Vezelay etc.
