An Amazing Place. This is an amazing place to stay and Michael and Denise made us feel so welcome with their warm, attentive hospitality. The villa was immaculately presented with everything one might need. The swimming pool is wonderful, warm, clean and you might want to spend lots of time in there. We wish to thank Michael and Denise for a wonderful holiday, we highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to be back there very soon.
Les Fumerates is fantastic. Near to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, it is particularly well located (30 minutes to Nice or Grasse by car, 20 minutes walk to Saint-Paul, etc.) and offers such an amazing landscape! Just imagine being in the pool with a view over the sea... For those who are willing to come when the weather is a little cold please note that when we were there the pool was 27 degrees (in April) Highly recommending the place, definitely.
We have all had an amazing 3 weeks stay in your beautiful house. Our grand children have all learned to swim in the pool and we have all enjoyed our days out in this lovely part of France. We can't thank you enough for giving us everything we could wish for in a holiday home - you have thought of every home comfort. We will be recommending this as the best place to stay for all.
The sun shone and we all had a fabulous time in this gorgeous and comfortable house. Lots of amazing food (with thanks to Steph), delicious wines of all colours (with thanks to Ampelidae), great company and a lot of laughs. Thank you!

Thank you so much for making our visit to the Lot so very special. Your generous hospitality was astounding. Nothing was too much trouble, every request for information assiduously followed up and always discretely so you never intruded on our privacy. Along the way we feel we’ve made a new friend. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, we lacked for nothing. Nestled in amongst the vineyards we were fortunate enough to be there in time to watch and participate in the harvest. You even arranged for us to sample the wines made from the vineyards in the area. It was impossible not to take some home with us. Lots to explore, amazing restaurants, we fell in love with the Lot. We can fully appreciate how this haven stole your heart. Having holidayed over many years in France, this was definitely the highlight of all our travels. Thank you so much for making our holiday so special.
We have had a most amazing week. The weather has been perfect and this beautiful house has been a haven of peace and tranquility for adults and children alike. Needless to say we don't want to go home!
We really like the idea of returning to Les Jumelles. We loved it and have such fond memories of our time there. Our children really loved the pool and the beautiful garden, with space for all the activities including table tennis, badminton, and football.
We spent 2 weeks at Mas Saint-Cernin. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. John and Lesley provided excellent information before our arrival about the property, the local area and very clear travel directions. There was even a welcome basket of essentials for our breakfast on arrival. We had a fabulous time and hope to visit again.

This has been our first escape from London for three years and it certainly did not disappoint. The high temperatures slightly constrained our ambitions, but Camirout is a holiday in its own right! The château is absolutely beautiful, typically French and very tastefully decorated. It is also very comfortable and had everything our family needed. We enjoyed the pool and relaxed in the sun on the poolside seating. For cooler seating we used the veranda of the sheltered Summer house and a perfect eating and barbecue area next to the Atelier, which had a fridge for cold drinks. The Atelier also had every game imaginable and a TV area with a variety of DVDs and comfy seating. There is an electronic game/TV room in the chateau too, with seating for the whole family to have a 'cinema' evening. Outside, we enjoyed walking by the river, tennis, boules and table tennis and the children made full use of the slide and swing. The garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and had leisurely meals together around large family tables, in beautiful surroundings. The guardians were friendly, very helpful and on-hand if we needed anything. All in all, we had a wonderful experience which we would love to repeat in the future and we thoroughly recommend Château Grandchamp de Chablis for a family holiday.

On our bucket list we wrote a holiday with the whole family consisting of 13 people. We chose to stay at the Bastide which appeared a perfect choice. We had the space we needed, plenty of rooms, bathrooms and toilets. Equipment of the villa was complete. We had a few issues but Thomas, our host solved everything asap. As kids, teenagers and adults we all enjoyed the stay as we had plenty of possibilities next to the outstanding pool of the house. Hiking in the environment, fishing in the lake nearby, pool table, soccer table, table tennis. And of course we used the BBQs a lot while enjoying the wonderful wines of the domaine. Thank you Thomas for your effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended as a valuable investment in an unforgettable holiday.
Where to begin? Booked this wonderful house 10 months ago. Often looked at the pictures and thought can anywhere be so perfect... it can! The sheer joy of walking from room to room, spending entire days outside by and in the pool. Simple living in a sumptuous house which just keeps giving with it's character, beautiful art and furniture. Was this as perfect as I imagined? Absolutely. Would I come back? Without a doubt. Loved every minute'
Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!
We all enjoyed the stay at the villa. We liked the location - both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pézenas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc) Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football! It was also nice to have a pool - although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa. We liked the fact that you contacted us personally - it offered us reassurance prior to our trip - thanks for your help. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit the villa again. Maison de Saint-Jean is beautiful and very well equipped. We've had a wonderful holiday. Enjoyed the spectacular views. The pool was fab and our boys loved it!
We were a group of 20 (5 families) and had a wonderful week! The rooms are very comfortable (aircon, great beds), the kitchen was perfect for a large group, the pool was large and clean (not even a bug in the water, thanks to the overflow system). Everything is nicely decorated and brand new. The location is just beautiful with wonderful sunsets. We had a lovely visit at the wine cellar of the domaine and did a wine tasting. We visited Saint-Tropez and the Pampelonne plage (1 hour drive), Cotignac (40 min), Île de Porquerolles by catamaran from Hyères (1h) and did canyoning in the Gorges du Verdon (2h drive). So plenty to do but you'll need to spend some time in the car. And last but not least : Thomas is a great host. He is always available and willing to help in every possible way.
I had a week in August and had a wonderful time. The property was immaculate and extremely well appointed. The location beautiful and exceeded expectations. I also wanted to share the fantastic hospitality of the host, Debbie. There were homemade yoghurts in the morning and a private yoga session arranged. Recommendations on restaurants and places to see. This was all done without being pushy or infringing on our holiday or privacy in any way.

I fell under the spell of this beautiful, atypical residence. Its proximity to the Duras castle gives it a magical touch... There is all the necessary comfort for visitors and the bedding is quality. On one side of the residence, breathtaking view of the beautiful swimming pool and the valley and on the other side, magical view of the castle fortifications. I will not reveal any more and leave the pleasure to the next visitors of discovering the other little treasures that this house hides. The village of Duras is typical of small provincial towns with its beautiful and colorful local market. In the evenings, very good festive atmosphere.
We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in Sarlat. Sarlat and the surrounding area has so much to offer. We enjoyed the local markets, a trip to Chateau Der Milandes and of course canoeing down the Dordogne river. The location of the house is amazing, just a few minutes walk into the centre. With the first week of our stay the temperature were in the high 30s and the pool was an absolute godsend-a real highlight for us, we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the weather.. The house itself was great and met all of our needs for a two week holiday. Thank you Jackie for all your help answering all my messages. Will be back soon.
