We have really enjoyed staying in your beautiful home. We have been lazy and mostly stayed by the pool. We had a great couple of meals in St Émilion and we visited some vineyards. All in all a fabulous holiday. Great hoss, and the house is very well equipped!
The house is beautiful - plenty of space for a large group to have both together time and also their own space. Outdoor areas are fantastic and beds super comfy! . Overall highly recommended.
Such a beautiful house! Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Visited Sarlat, Bergerac and Périgueux - would recommend Sunday morning market in Aubeterre. Will miss waking up to the sound of the countryside.
We had a fantastic week of vacation with friends at Mas du Château. The house, the pool, the bedding, the exteriors... everything is set up to have a perfect time! The house is perfectly insulated so that the most fetards in the group can take care of your feet in the water and the rest can sleep without problem. We'll be happy to go back, including off-season!:) Christophe is an available and attentive host. He has carefully renovated the house with care and commitment.
We have had a wonderfully relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable two weeks at this beautiful gite. It has been fantastically and sensitively renovated both inside and out. The pool is an absolute joy to sit by and relax, read and take in the scenery! Also, Pete has been an excellent host, a mine of local knowledge. We enjoyed visiting Monpazier, Issigeac, Villereal and Sarlat.
We have had a wonderful time at your villa, whilst the UK shivered and got rained on, we have been exploring the locality. The villa was everything it claimed to be and much more, our best choice so far in Languedoc. A wonderful holiday!

What a wonderful week! The villa is full of elegant and eclectic touches and the outside areas are divine. The pool is just perfect and the shade was needed this week when it was very hot (but not as hot as back home - thank goodness!) Beziers is lovely and there are plenty of places to visit near by. Philippe - you were a wonderful host providing recommendations when asked and keeping the pool sparkling clean. The treats you delivered were fabulous as was the trip you organised to Saint Chinian. Terrific house with fabulous views, close to town. Our family of five had a perfect holiday. The house is spacious, filled with light and very well appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces a lot, including the pool, the large terrace with stunning views and summer kitchen. It was easy to get to grocery stores and activities in the region. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to the village and explore the area. We all enjoyed walking or jogging on the path by the canal, accessible from the garden. We highly recommend this property!

The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Why on earth did we delay visiting this haven for so long?! Collioure is a gem. We have had a truly wonderful time, thank you.
WOW! What a holiday! The Loft is absolutely beautiful and we’ve all had the most wonderful time. In fact, the Loft, pool and gardens are so incredible we’ve spent most days swimming, reading and lounging by the pool! Playing boules has been fun and meeting you both, and Mack and Mabel too. We’d love to come back and revisit the Loft - it’s been fantastic! A big ‘Thank You’!
I have stayed here with friends on several occasions and the tranquility and serenity is something to treasure. Maison Bourriette and gardens are furnished to the highest standard with a special courtyard enclosed in the original barn walls. The pool and surroundings cater for the most ardent sunbather or swimmer. The welcome you receive is personal and nothing is too much trouble, thus ensuring your best possible stay. From the house you are near to many interesting attractions dotted around the rolling countryside but if you don't want to leave the sanctuary of the house, then there are numerous delightful walks on the doorstep taking you through woods to small settlements or even into Montaigu for quality food and drink. I cannot wait to go back again!
Exceptional domain, I highly recommend! The rooms are very comfortable, the bedding is impeccable and the hosts are very welcoming. If you are looking to discover the Dordogne, its caves, its castles, its culinary specialties (delicious!), or if you simply want to relax in a haven of peace then Le Manoir de la Compagnie is the perfect place.
What a beautiful 'home away from home' you have created here. This first holiday has been everything we could have wished for and more. Your hospitality and company have been wonderful and matched only by the breathtaking accommodation and gardens. You have thought of everything and we have wanted for nothing and the delicious birthday cake was a particular highlight! We can't wait to see what the future holds for the main house.
An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.
Many thanks for arranging our rental of Le Chambarru in Blauzac, it is a tremendous house and we had a very good holiday with our friends from the USA. We enjoyed meeting the owners.
We had a wonderful week staying at Maison des Communes. We were made to feel very welcome and our hosts couldn't do enough to help us. Frederica even drove me to the supermarket when we arrived because our car wasn't ready until the following day. The villa is beautiful, very clean and exceptionally well equipped. The garden bedrooms are fabulous with good air conditioning and the hot water was plentiful. Maureilhan itself does not have a lot to offer but we found ourselves very happy in the villa. There is a lot of outdoor and indoor space to relax and we used the pool for several hours each day. We also made good use of the bikes, cycling to neighbouring villages, vineyards and the canal. Maison des Communes was a wonderful family villa and we would most definitely visit again if we return to the area. I would highly recommend it.

We just wanted to say we had a wonderful time at the beautiful Richelieu home. Maybe the most beautiful and well appointed vacation rental we have ever had. The property manager, Dawn, was very helpful throughout our stay. We hope to come back again someday.

An excellent stay. A magnificent residence, full of history and impressive beauty. We were delighted to stay there. The advice given by Mme de Maleville was so valuable to us, especially for the restaurants to go to in the area. We will certainly return.
A house as exceptionally welcoming as it is easy to live in and comfortable. We spent a week there with friends and our children and we didn't see the time passing. The garden, the swimming pool, the barbecue, the ping pong table and all the numerous facilities made available by Marie-Thérèse allowed us to have many good times.
The villa was a great place to stay. We have been renting villas for nearly 20 years now and this is the first time ever that we didn't use a car. So near the airport, so near shops, restaurants, the sea, the train station for days out to Nice and Antibes. And the villa itself was lovely - it was more spacious than we expected. Moreover at 30 degrees the pool was marvellous. Only complaint - a week was too short!
