Fabulous week learning about wine in an amazing setting. Manoir Lemance is the most wonderful, tranquil and stylish place I have stayed in France and I have stayed in many. The owners have taken great care and attention in restoring the beautiful buildings, choosing the internal furnishings and creating the amazing swimming pool and grounds. We were warmly welcomed and looked after really well all week. The local area is full of amazing villages, great vineyards and beautiful countryside. If you are looking for a very French holiday with the added support of English speaking hosts, in the most beautiful setting, then this is the place for you.
What a fantastic week we have had. Thank you so very much for your hospitality. Our son loved the trampoline and the swimming pool and our daughters loved playing under the shady trees in your beautiful garden. The roses are gorgeous and their smell filled our lazy days. Excellent home, beautiful garden, fantastic amenities nearby and we really enjoyed Saumur too. We hope to come again very soon please. Until then, merci beaucoup.
Jean and Martyn have created a wonderful place to come for a relaxing holiday. The house is really well equipped with everything you need. Providing 3 fridges was a brilliant idea and the house had great Wi-Fi! The pool was spotless and warm and the pool area was lovely- just across from the house, but not overlooked. The gardens are beautiful and the outside patio and kitchen were fab. We loved the short stroll to the village for bread. It’s a wonderful location. Highly recommended.
Amazing lunch spreads on the big table every day accompanied by tasing of rose and red wine. Stunning BBQ dinners every evening. Sitting by the pool, staring at the view and saying 'wow'! on a regular basis. Kids very happy in the cinema for slightly too many hours! What a stunning pace and what a privilege to have visited here. Thank you. Look forward to returning one day.
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
What an amazing week! The whole family had a superb time - we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful home, with everything we needed there! Our family - from the age of 6 to 71 enjoyed all the facilities - the pools, hot tub, table football, darts and of course, table tennis. Thank you so much for your hospitality and use of your “home”. We were traveling with our 3 children. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. We ate all meals when we were home outside on the terrace. The pool was fantastic. The wonderful windows open to the perfect temperature outside. It was an immediate sense of relaxation. You can walk to town, the Roman Ruins, lake and the asylum where Van Gogh stayed. Town is charming and chock full of things to do. Wednesday market throughout town was a blast for all of us. Great restaurants, 2 artisan chocolate makers!
We loved the views, peace and quiet and the house and garden, all of it! The house is well equipped and very clean. The pool was a real treat and was kept clean throughout our stay. We look forward to returning again.
The view from the apartment is more stunning than the photos can capture as is the pool area. The outdoor area is comfortable and relaxing overlooking the sea. The apartment was very clean and fitted with all the amenities one needs for a holiday. There are many restaurants within a short walk, a fabulous fully equipped supermarket just across the road and also a short walk to there train station for day trips to Cannes, Antibes, Nice and beyond. The bus stop to the airport is also very close. There is nothing to fault about the apartment. It was perfect in every way.
Very comfortable gite with friendly and helpful yet unobtrusive hosts. Lovely pool. Just 10 mins drive to excellent boulangerie and general store.
What an amazing experience, in a truly beautiful part of France (and new to us all). The house is lovely as well as the 360° views - magical! The kids loved the pool and we managed to get them out for food, sleep and car!

The villa lives up to the photos and description and the location, in the heights of Saint-Raphaël, allows you to avoid the traffic down there! We recommend because we had a vacation as we hoped!

We just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your lovely house in France. Les Roches was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing, seeing something of the Southern Loire, and trying new wines. The pool, tennis courts, and gym were a big hit with the kids especially. Isabella, thank you for the personal tour of the winery, it was good to learn more about how you create your organic/low sulphite wines and the great knowledge shared while tasting a few, along with the ones we thoroughly tested during our stay The Femme Tour riding by the gates was a one off and such an amazing and friendly experience. We toasted with sparkling wine (Ampelidae of course) on the barrels set at the end of the drive as they rode past. Please say thank you to the so helpful Beada once again for her support and patience with our varied amounts of French. The ladies in the village bakery were also wonderfully cheerful each morning as we negotiated the language of French bread types. In all our joint family holidays this one got the highest score. As we watched the red sunset from the terrace on Friday, no one wanted to go home. Wishing you a good harvest in 2025 and all the best.
An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.
Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel instantly at home. The beautifully maintained gardens, softly illuminated in the evenings, create a romantic and serene atmosphere, while the untouched woodland adds a sense of tranquility and adventure. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious accommodations to the stunning swimming pool overlooking the picturesque landscape. Whether we were exploring the nearby historic villages, indulging in the region’s incredible food and wine, or simply relaxing on the terrace, every moment felt special. A Great Week in Provence. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mas Paradou. The home and setting fit beautifully in the quaint little village of Le Paradou. We loved the proximity to the markets and relaxing by the pool while enjoying the local food and wine. It was great to be able to walk to boulangerie every morning and we loved dining at the house as well as the surrounding restaurants. The kitchen is well-equipped and the Viking stove is a plus. The owner was very accommodating and provided lots of information about the surrounding villages and markets. You couldn't pick a better locale.

A very belated note to say thanks very much for your help in making our stay in Les Rocans go smoothly. We had a great time and loved how relaxed it was. We were considering rebooking for next year however Mum has just announced she will be taking a larger place to celebrate her 70th in next summer, so the good news is she will pick up the bill (!) but the bad news is we can't stay with you again next year. We will however certainly bear Les Rocans in mind for the future as we had a thoroughly relaxing time.

A fantastic week in Ventenac-en-Minervois. the house was perfect for our family. Happy evenings on the terrace and beautiful time. Cup - in very friendly and excellent café. Eric is so helpful. We will definitely return.
Lovely villa, boys enjoyed the pool and the garden! Had great trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne. Visit Pézenas on a Wednesday evening and visit all of the artisans stores! For beaches the long stretch between Sète and Agde is very quiet.
A very beautiful house and property. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and are British so they speak both French and English which is a plus. Since the guest house is located to the side of the main house, you will also have privacy whenever you want. The guest house is wonderfully decorated in a typical French/British style. A large kitchen, a large bedroom with very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with bath and shower. You have your own terrace where you can start the day with breakfast and a breathtaking view of the garden and the horses :) The host gave us advice and also brought us into the forest where we had a night cap. They helped us find a gig and also lent us their grill and let us use the washing machine. We highly recommend and would love to return. Thanks.
Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. The terrace, garden and pool are just so peaceful that we haven’t ventured far! Most of all thank you for being there and for your wonderful company. We hope there will be many more visits to come.
