The Loft is wonderful. Beautiful, elegant and peaceful yet still homely - albeit better furnished than our home. We loved our stay and the fortnight flew by. The gorgeous gardens and pool made for a tranquil holiday and a haven after days out in this lovely area. The extra touches of your welcome pack, first breakfast croissants and drinks in the garden were the icing on a very beautiful cake. Thank you. We look forward to hearing of the success of the main house.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the markets, the wine and the village we visited and walks. The weather has been lovely and hot. It was wonderful to return each day to such a lovely and very well appointed and equipped house and gardens. One of us really appreciated the pool.

We had a fantastic holiday at the property and to be quite honest, didn't want to leave. Glum faced we are looking back on our holiday snaps wishing we weren't back in the gloomy English weather, but sitting out on the glorious verandah! Your hospitality was second-to-none and the whole holiday faultless.
What an amazing week in a stunning home. The house is exquisitely designed and the attention to detail is fantastic. The views are beautiful and the area so quiet and peaceful. I slept in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor and had the best night's sleep I've had for years… the mattress is heavenly. Not many people can lie in bed watching red squirrels leaping through the surrounding trees can they! The small kitchen area on the ground floor along with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means the whole floor can be very separate and quiet if two families were to share the house. The middle floor is a great entertaining space with a spotless and very modern kitchen with dining / living area leading out to the garden and pool. It was a real treat to have the local bar / restaurant within a short walking distance. It's very easy to sit and enjoy the local wine! The one thing I hadn't bargained for was the abundance of wildlife, although with the roads being so quiet I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. The red squirrels and deer can be seen from the balconies and fantastic infinity pool overlooking the valley. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are very comfy. Once again, there are various areas to sit / eat and enjoy the garden if different age groups or families stay here. So to sum it all up…a fab holiday home in beautiful surroundings – 10 / 10. PS If you attempt the puzzle in the games cupboard… start it as soon as you arrive because it's tricky but irresistible!
Beautiful property in a great corner of France. The house was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. It is a short walk or bike ride from the village and there are endless options of exploring Le Var further afield. We'd definitely return. Thanks!

We have had a fantastic time, our 2nd holiday here, weather was brilliant-sunshine every day, we all loved the pool, a great way to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary!
Like the previous years, the two weeks at the villa have been wonderful! The house is wonderful, the pool and the closeness to the sea are great. We will certainly be back again.
We had a great time at Villa Lavinière. Both the house and its views were amazing. The hills around the house were lovely to explore and we really enjoyed the facilities at the house itself (pool and pétanque). Parc du Haut-Languedoc, Minerve, Saint-Pons-de-Thomières, the Montagne Noire and Carcassonne were all highly recommended. We were also lucky enough to see the Tour de France passing by.

It provided everything we needed and more... Compliments to the owners. We all had a fantastic holiday and feel refreshed and ready for the autumn term and work! We had a great stay everything was there the calm, the sun, the pool, a super well-equipped cottage with enough to take good walks. We met many animals,,deer, owls, egrets and especially donkeys for the great pleasure of the children. A pure family moment very revitalising. Thank you very much for your welcome.
An absolute joy to stay here! The Loft is perfect in every way. Karen and Russell have literally thought of everything. A wonderful kitchen and gorgeous crockery, loads of utensils - it was a joy to use! Undoubtedly for our four teenagers the Loft terrace has been a major hit. Many an hour has been spent lounging around listening to the water trickling along. Totally relaxing. The recommendations were perfect for things to do, restaurants and vineyards to visit. Karen was so right about la Cite at Carcassonne - beautiful. Many thanks for the welcome, the chats and the wine - we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful week’s stay at this amazing chateau. We were a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) and couldn’t have wished for a better week. The pool was very popular, and the garden was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Michelle has renovated and finished the whole building with attention to detail and the pictures, as impressive as they are, don’t really do it justice. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Beautiful property with the most magnificent view. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Everything was there that you could possibly need. Pool was perfect. Lovely walk to next village cross country to a little restaurant is well worth doing. Takes about 45 minutes. Truly beautiful scenery around the house like being in a Van Gogh painting! We would definitely go back.

You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! A truly fabulous house, super comfortable and well equipped with everything you could want. The incredible kitchen is a joy to cook in. The pool was warm and super clean. This was a really special place for our family holiday with lots of space to spread out. Clare gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Andy cooked us a delicious meal for us which is a real treat. The area is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards, unspoilt local towns and villages. We would love to return and show the area and house to other friends and family.
You have transformed this building into the most wonderful house and more than that, into a welcoming and comfortable home, in which we feel privileged to have been guests. We lacked for nothing (except maybe a little more soleil and a little less vent). Everyone who came to stay with us expressed their appreciation in a similar vein. Thank you so much. We spent 5 days in September in Château Entre-Deux-Mers, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurious experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine châteaux to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
