The villa is extraordinary! We stayed in this beautiful house with a pool with my family. Everything was perfect: the house is spacious, bright, impeccably clean, and well equipped. The pool is a true haven of peace, ideal for relaxing in the sun. The hosts were very warm and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this house!

We chose this for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration, we had a party of 11 people ranging from 1 to 60, on arrival we were amazed at the stunning approach to the property which can be seen from the village on the hill, the house is amazing, younger members loved the snug, the grand salon was impressive and we enjoyed many an evening with everyone playing cards, games etc. The children especially enjoyed the table tennis. The pool is awesome and even in late May to early June was very warm. The bedrooms were huge and each one unique. We would have no hesitation in recommending this as an ideal family holiday.
Our two week stay at this fantastic French villa has been the highlight of our summer. A massive thank-you must go to Philippe. From day one he has been an amazing host, bringing us personalised bread and breakfast pastries and taking Ed wine tasting. We loved our restaurant visit also organised by Philippe to La Tour in Montady. He has been our go-to for tourist information and local knowledge, from beach recommendations to where to buy a birthday cake. On top of that, our dogs (Bella and Luna) have loved him. The villa itself is gorgeous and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. We’ve enjoyed days around the pool, barbecues in the evenings and games in the salon after many wonderful little excursions that surround Maureilhan. We do not want to leave! Mais c’est la vie!
Stunning property overlooking lake. Property is in great location but not isolated, walking distance to bar, restaurant, Boulangerie and takeaway pizza shop (or 2 minutes in car). Property is in excellent condition and is very clean and well looked after, the pool is great for a cooling dip, the area around the pool is also modern and clean with nice furniture too. Comfortable beds with crisp bedding, everything has been thought of with a lovely modern kitchen, unique dining table, comfortable clean sofa. Great views overlooking the lake but still very private. The house also stays quite cool as it's shaded by the trees which was great in the heatwave. The owners are really helpful and take pride in their special property. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay again when visiting this beautiful area of France *****
Wonderful week! Maison Estephe was absolutely outstanding everything we could have wished for. Lovely little village, fresh bread and croissants from the little baker shop every morning, weather was great, lots of exploring, sampled some wine and discovered the wonderful port of Meze. Outstanding week will need to look at available dates for next year when I know my time off.
We really enjoyed our stay at Manoir Bellevigne. It is a lovely property.
We have had a brilliant stay - The villa is fantastic- kids have spent house in the pool and learning to play pool. Everyone has enjoyed it so much it feels a real wrench to leave. Hope we can visit again some time.
We have had a wonderful relaxing stay. Pete you have been a great host! We have enjoyed reading, lazing at the lovely view from the terrace and cooling off in the pool, which is fabulous. I hope your arm heals quickly!
Wonderful family holiday, beautiful house and grounds and so much entertain for our 2 years old daughter. The highlight of our two weeks included a wine tour, visiting local markets, eating out and relaxing by the pool. We look forward to our return one day.

Beautiful château and very well maintained grounds which are well equipped to prevent children from being bored. The kids absolutely loved the pool and having the shaded area was brilliant for everyone. Everything you could need for a fortnightwith the family - our party included toddlers, a newborn baby and grandparents. the daily housekeeping service was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a catered evening (we chose Indian food). Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We hope to be back.

We have had such a wonderful week at Le Chanlie, what a special place. From walks through the orchid-filled meadow to star-gazing evenings. The house could not have been better. Thank you. PS Lovely selection of books including field guides and wildlife.
The property was perfect for our two families, with ample accommodation and communal areas to relax together. We were spoilt for choice as to where we chose to hang out with beautiful uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside especially from the back of the property. The pool was a real treat - large enough for our party of 8 to have endless fun in. The daily walk to the boulangerie first thing in the morning was really enjoyable, as were the local pizza's!

What a beautiful place to spend a week. The villa is fabulous, spacious and homely with everything we needed. The location was perfect to explore Collioure on foot. We have never visited this part of France before, so we have loved investigating and had some fantastic meals!

Beautiful setting, fantastic space. Well kept both inside and out. Facilities were fantastic. Great pool - child friendly and garden toys were a perfect addition too. Lovely family holiday enjoyed by all ages.
This is the most wonderful place to have a family holiday; beautifully furnished, spotless, spacious and as peaceful as you could possibly hope a holiday to be. The pool is glorious, we spent hours playing table tennis, had wonderful meals on the big table outside and we watched the stars at night time. In the local area are vineyards, beautiful mediaeval towns and castles and lots of lovely food to be found in markets. It’s a perfect place for a happy holiday.
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. This was a great find for our annual French holiday. Your lovely house was perfect for the whole family, it was hard to get the kids out of the pool at the end of the day. Monflanquin is a great town, a real discovery with lots of great restaurants.
Loved the location and the winding lane down to the property. Arrived to find a hidden and very private garden that was wonderfully lit at night and with a beautiful pool. Total silence and never saw or heard another person in the week we were there. If you’re looking for a quiet week away from the hassles of a hectic world, then this is the place for you!
We had a fantastic week in Sarlat and around. The perfect base for a family holiday. We loved the gardens as Eyrignac and Marqueyssac in particular but there was so much to do and see here The Bistro De L’Octroi across the road is fantastic. Thanks Jackie and Geoff.

Wonderful house for a family holiday. Age range 7 months to 70 years. Well equipped and the area great for exploration. The pool and garden a great hit.
Like a 5 star hotel! What a great week we spent in your lovely home in France. You have done it so well and we really felt we were staying in a family home not simply a gîte. Your attention to detail shows. The garden is beautiful and all the 'toys' were very much appreciated with a week long tennis and croquet tournament! And of course the piece de resistance was the swimming area which was like a 5 star hotel.
