What an amazing chateau you have, breathtaking; everything that we needed and more. We have enjoyed 1 wonderful week, wish it could have been more. Julie, Paul and Steven - you have been fantastic, always on hand for advice and support and ideas. Especially enjoyed our ‘feast’ in the Dining Room celebrating Alan’s 70th birthday with laughter and some lovely memories that will stay with us all forever. Would love to return at some point in the future - if you’ll have us back! We will miss you. XXX
Beautiful location, spacious rooms with large estate and very friendly owners and staff. They do their utmost to make the stay perfect. Definitely recommended.
The property is a 'gem' and Philippe and Elisabeth are great hosts who enhance the holiday experience in the Loire.

Our week at the villa was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived we were struck by the peacefulness of the surroundings. The villa itself is beautifully maintained. It was very windy during our stay and Philippe came each morning to clean the pool! We spent hours in the pool - it is just beautiful! Every day brought a new adventure – the wine tasting tour at Le Cave was really interesting (although we did end up spending a fortune! Philippe was just the perfect host – so lovely. The pastries delivered twice weekly were lovely and a huge thank you to Philippe for the birthday cakes for my husband's 60th on the Friday! The meal at La Tour was just amazing – so much so we decided to return for birthday celebrations. It has been the kind of stay that recharges you in every way. We are leaving relaxed, inspired and already planning our return! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a serene French escape paired with genuine and caring hospitality! Thank you so much Philippe – we are so so sad to be leaving but wonderful memories made!
Our week of vacation spent in your property was a success. The house is spotless, very, very clean and with a lot of attention (welcome products in the bathrooms, recent and clean linen, welcome basket, games). The barn with the ping pong table, darts, table football, billiards and where we could play sports, is wonderful. The long walks around the vines with Tutus delighted me, despite the showers. The Super U in Mirambeau has a very nice butcher's department. The meat is excellent. The fish department, with its oysters, shrimps and fish is also excellent. Tracy goes to great lengths to keep everything spotless when the vacationers arrive. The bouquet of fresh flowers on the table when we arrived was another attention that everyone noted.
Villa Funel was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable and the whole place was light and airy. The DVD player and the large supply of films was great for late viewing. The pool area and garden were a delight. We had a lovely relaxing time. We will certainly return.
We had a very relaxing and peaceful time staying in your beautiful home. It was wonderful to wake up and watch the sunrise over Mont Ventoux.
A wonderful stay at Domaine du Peyrayey! We were able to enjoy this haven of peace and tranquility nestled in nature. Tennis, swimming, and evenings spent watching the sunset punctuated our stay in the Bordeaux region. Of course, Bordeaux wouldn't be complete without a visit to some of the vineyards surrounding the estate and its surrounding area, as well as a trip to the Arcachon Basin. In short, an excellent way to recharge with my partner and some friends who came to visit us. A huge thank you to Natalie, her husband, and Gloria for their warm welcome at the estate!
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. A lovely fortnight here in Ventenac-en-Minervois. The house and all of its wonderful facilities are exactly as billed and everything is in first class condition. We enjoyed eating at the 'Grillade du Château' - excellent meat cooked on a wood fire whilst being entertained by their chickens! We also explored villages by the Canal du Midi - Homps and Le Somail and went to the medieval village of Lagrasse which was excellent. Thanks to our excellent hosts, Eric and Dominique, they were extremely helpful and responsive to any queries we had. We recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable holiday.
Thank goodness we found this last minute! What a find... We were the first renters in this lovely house - thank you for a wonderful week. It's like staying in a chic boutique hotel, but you have the whole place to yourself ! Everything is fabulous, the interior design and the garden and pool area. We found it hard to drag ourselves away from the pool and the little ones loved the designated play area. And we are now professional boules players... and pastis drinkers. Thanks to Mark and Gary for making our week so special.
We have throughly enjoyed our stay at Mas Saint-Martial. Thank you for being such warm and welcoming hosts. The house and grounds are beautiful and we've enjoyed using the pool, playing badminton, table tennis and boules. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool in such quiet and peaceful setting. Brantôme is a very pretty town on the river. Aubeterre-sur-Dronne also a beautiful place to visit with. remarkable underground monolithic church. Bergerac worth a visit for the Hal-timbered buildings. A fantastic stay thank you.
This is the ideal destination for an outdoorsy type holiday. The walking is superb and the scenery is magnificent. It is, quite frankly, a bit of a wrench to be leaving.

The gîte located in a beautiful part of unspoilt France, great for exploring near by villages / towns holding day and evening markets, driving through vineyards, so peaceful and yet great roads to explore Sarlat, Domme and others alongside Dordogne river. The gîte is extremely well equipped, downstairs is like home from home. Outside is delightful, pool idyllic with a selection of seating areas in and out of shade, the outside cooking area was the 'icing on the cake'. The owners are wonderful hosts.
Many thanks for your hospitality; we've very much enjoyed our stay at the Loft. You've clearly gone to a lot of effort to ensure that your guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. We certainly appreciated the supper that you provided for us on the first night - much appreciated after a day of travel. Drinks and nibbles in the garden with you both was also a lovely touch; always on hand, but never imposing. Best of luck with the next chapter of your renovations!
Enjoyed a very relaxing family(plus dog) holiday at the villa. Philippe is a fabulous host, nothing is too much trouble. The additional touches such as the breakfast deliveries were wonderful. The weather didn't disappoint. (38°C), so the pool was much needed. Béziers and Sète are well worth a visit for the views and the food. All in all, just what we needed.
We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. This is our second time coming to David and Kirstie's place to enjoy a long weekend with friends. Everything is always great. Excellent accommodation, top hosts, top-notch environment! Loved our stay and can only recommend 100%! We'll be back again, that's for sure.
A wonderful relaxing part of our trips spent in Montsoreau, living the dream! While really enjoying the local cafe/restaurants we made great and regular contact with the local boulangerie, boucher and wine producer who are all starts of their trade. Living local in Montsoreau for 2 weeks was great fun and delicious and... the accommodation provided us with the quiet and rest we needed. Spacious and with a place to read and watch the river on the terrace. Thank you.
We had a great week in a particularly nice house in a great location. Was very quick on our texts. If we get the chance, we will definitely go back to this special place.

On our first house hunting trip we could not have me more friendly and welcoming people than you. La Jolie Vue does not only offer a magnificent view on the rolling hills, it was restored with much care and love !we thank you for your outstanding hospitality dare we say friendship. What a week at Château Richelieu, where we were fortunate enough to get married in front of 90 of our closest friends and family! To say it was an amazing experience and venue would almost be doing it a dis-service! It's hard to put down in words just how perfect our big day was at Château Richelieu. It would be very difficult to beat as a venue for a wedding and we would not have had our day anywhere else in the world. Our hosts could not have done any more for us. The support before, during and after the wedding has been above and beyond. Honestly, cannot recommend Château Richelieu highly enough and we will definitely be returning with friends / family for another visit.
We had an excellent stay, the house corresponds in all respects to the ad. The view is magnificent.
