Spacious and beautiful house and grounds. Shaded areas a welcome balance. Very child and baby friendly. Lovely pool. Everything thought of and provided for a 3 generation family. Toys / DVDs / Books perfectly stocked. Playroom and comfortable seating a huge bonus. The WII very much appreciated! Food delicious and in perfect quantities. Very helpful to have options - prepared and / or catered. Thoughtful and considerate catering for children.
I just wanted to say how much we loved the house! Absolutely perfect in every way and gorgeously comfortable beds. We even staged our own murder mystery in the house.

We fell under the spell of the Château du Marquisat. Completely renovated with great taste, you will find the charm of yesterday and all the comfort of today. Although we stayed there in winter, we were able to appreciate this beautiful region of Minervois, the proximity of the Canal du Midi and the beaches of the Mediterranean. In addition, the owners are really welcoming, we only have one wish: to return in summer!

Elegance and ease. The grounds have a great sense of fun for children to explore. Excellently Maintained A great pool area, sun and shaded areas so that there is something for everyone. An extra stay with friends (a dozen with adults, teenagers and children) in a magical place... a natural site of great beauty, as magnificent day or night under the stars; a superbly renovated Mas, where the character of the old stones combines with great comfort (equipment, bedding, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.), space for everyone, huge rooms and more than careful decoration. original, each object, each piece of furniture is chosen with great spirit and arouses curiosity. Everyone found their privacy and activity of the day there (picnic by the river, shopping in very picturesque Anduze, reading by the swimming pool, Cévennes walk... and even revision of the Baccalaureate in a calm environment!). Very appreciable preparation of the place by the owners and attention to our arrival. See you next year for sure... We would like to sleep in all the rooms!
We had a wonderful stay in Maison Richelieu. The house is extremely elegant and had everything needed. The pool and outside entertaining areas were excellent. It was an amazing house.
Fabulous elegant stay. Just returned from a fantastic stay at Manoir Capraise. We only had a week at this fantastic house but it was very memorable. The main house and gîte have been beautifully and tastefully restored. There is great quality and attention to detail throughout from the lovely terraces / landscaping / pool / vegetable garden to the quality furnishings and equipment . Many a lovely meal was enjoyed admiring the fantastic location from the multiple outdoor seating areas on the terraces. The gîte provided a great independent area for teenagers and the well equipped gym was a bonus, plans for a games room will further enhance this great property. We appreciated a lovely welcome package of local wine and produce, another quality touch. Thank you Mark and Sarah, everything was just perfect, we hope to return again.
Well, what can we say other than we have had a ball and our 'musicals' night with you both will enter the folklore of the families. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, friendship and laughs - what a holiday! We've loved every minute of our holiday. The Loft is superb in every aspect. We had a brilliant restful time at Villa Funel as part of a longer tour of France. The location of the property was so tranquil with a beautiful garden and pool to relax in when not out sight seeing. The furnishings, towels and bedding were of good quality and there was plenty of everything you could possibly need. Carole and Jean Luc were very relaxed, friendly and helpful but we really seemed to have the place to ourselves with not a soul in sight which was perfect. We hope to return one day.
This must be the perfect summer holiday Villa for a small family. As a couple we were joined by some friends for part of our stay and we had a great time in the sun. The O 13 Clochers restaurant in Monteton is under new management and serves superb food. Hostellerie des Ducs good quality- and the restaurant in Seyches is incredible value. We are sure to return.
We had a wonderful stay at Mas Saint-Martial, the pool was incredible and the owners were fantastic hosts. Probably the most relaxing yet inspiring holiday and people we have met for a long time which will have a long-lasting positive impact on us.
We cannot recommend Mas Saint-Martial highly enough. We had a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable couple of weeks making the most of the secluded quiet of this lovely house, excellent pool, extensive grounds and beautiful surrounding areas. For a family of 4 with two pre-teen girls, it was ideal with enough space for us all to enjoy and a pool that was warm. There was a well equipped games room and we loved the all weather badminton court. The local facilities were good with an excellent bakery.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday in your beautiful château. Every moment has been enjoyable and I am full of admiration for the way you have lovingly restored the house over 15 years, the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. It has certainly been a holiday to remember, in such a lovely setting and area of France.
We have just returned from a month in France staying at Domaine de Laure. We had a simply lovely time. Before we went, we did have some reservations about the fact that the property was attached to the owners house. We really do value privacy and experience has indicated that this can be compromised when this is the case. In fact it turned out out that we had the best of both worlds - help whenever we needed it - Pierre and Benedict were charming - and total privacy at all other times. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The king size beds and English TV were a bonus. The pool was clean and well maintained. But for us, it was the location and the total peace that were particularly special - even better than the photographs. The views were beautiful and the grounds very spacious. The only intrusion was the gentle tinkling of goat bells…magic! We have no hesitation in highly recommending Domaine de Laure.
Once in a lifetime luck to find this house available for our vacation week - loved every second. We loved this house - it's huge, the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the pool is just amazing. There's a beautiful view over Cannes and you can also see the old city of Mougins. We enjoyed cooking in at night, walking to the bakery nearby in the morning and the hosts even helped us organise private yoga classes at the villa. Loved everything.
What an incredible home base! We felt so fortunate to return here every day after days spent exploring the beautiful towns of Lot and the Dordogne. We wondered whether we might find Castelnau-Montratier to be a little too quiet, but were always grateful for the respite. The house and its quiet luxury hiding behind the unassuming little gate was a constant surprise to us and we loved every minute. Many thanks to Barbara for quickly responding to our every query. We are already wondering when we'll return! P.S. Viking chess is our new favourite game!
We have settled in very well thank you into your lovely home. Everything has been super and I don't think we could have asked for more. You certainly have made a wonderful place to stay.
We’ve had a wonderful 2 weeks, the girls have loved the swimming pool and all the facilities. We spent many relaxing days reading in front of the beautiful views. The house is very comfortable. Nyons, Orange, Avignon, Vaison la romaine were all very picturesque and worth a visit, especially the amazing Roman theatre in Orange. All in all a fabulous trip. We will be back.
Staying here was lovely - the house is stunning and is set in a really peaceful location. The view is really amazing and the house is really nice. We loved it!

We had two gorgoeus weeks in this fabulous farmhouse. The house is large and spacious with everything you would need. The hosts were so wonderful and made us fell very welcome - nothing was too much trouble! There is plenty to do in the surrounding area - lots of wonderful towns to explore, canoeing, swimming in the lakes and lovely walks. We were two families with 5 teenagers. We all agreed that we would happily go back!
A bewitching house, beautiful grounds, a wonderful old piano - thanks for having it restored and tuned in time for our course. What more could we ask!

An amazing week spent with family celebrating a 50th birthday location was perfect, quiet but close to amenities such as a lovely bakery and shops. The property has everything: plenty of space to relax but also plenty of space to socialise and mingle. Philippe was an amazing host, providing an introduction to the property and location, bringing pastries twice during our stay and proving a complementary wine tour of Saint-Chinian and evening meal at Le Pourquoi Pas (which was to die for food and location). Highly recommend during your stay to take a boat tour down the Canal du Midi from Colombiers and kayaking down the river Orb from Roquebun. Thank you for your hospitality.
We had a wonderful couple of weeks. The accommodation was well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Debbie was a fantastic host and really made us feel welcome. She was there to help without being intrusive. It was great to have her on hand for advice on days out, restaurants, etc. The gardens and pool were fantastic and well maintained. The area is beautiful with lots to explore but didn’t feel like a well trodden tourist path. We enjoyed visiting local markets, walking, activities on the river and exploring the local villages and wineries. We would highly recommend and hope to revisit soon.
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances.
