What an amazing week we have spent in your villa! We visited to celebrate Shona’s 60th birthday and it was the absolute perfect spot. We have had an amazing week here: sunning by the pool, reading in the wicker chairs, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, BBQing in the outdoor kitchen and drinking wine just about everywhere!! The villa is very well equipped with every kitchen supply you’d need, ample fridge space, excellent Wi-Fi throughout, fabulous pool and spacious bedrooms. Philippe was a wonderful host – helpful and quick replies to any questions. We loved our two breakfast supply drops, especially the personalised loaves and ginger cake! Thank you for arranging a wonderful dinner at La Tour in Montady and a lovely wine tasting at Saint-Chinian. Also the weather updates were helpful. Our family dog Ivy also had a lovely week here with lots of space for her to run around. Think the cats mentioned in previous entries wisely were more distant during her stay!! Thank you again for everything and we are already thinking about coming back!
We spent a very pleasant week in Château Grandchamp de Chablis. The setting, the equipment, the swimming pool, everything is designed to make you feel good and for everyone! We thank the caretakers for their very friendly welcome. We strongly recommend this château, as well as visiting and tasting the neighbouring grape varieties.
If you’re looking for a beautiful respite from the everyday grind, look no further than Nerige. What a tranquil, pristine and magical place. The Pyrenees mountains rise across the valleys of vineyards and the air is clear and crisp. The property itself is massive, yet so comfortable and cozy. The rooms are decorated with the highest quality linens and furniture. Sandie is a true old-school host. She greeted us in person, showed us all the highlights of the property, prepared an amazing meal for our arrival and stocked the pantry so we had breakfast in the morning. Traveling with 2 small children and 2 older parents... we were exhausted from our trip... and this was exactly what we needed! She also arranged for a wonderful massage therapist to come to Nérige the next morning to kick off our relaxation! This is how to travel and travel well. This is how to see the world. Don’t second guess this place. Book now before the whole world finds out about this magical gem!

You have been excellent hosts - helpful but never intrusive. The Loft is a lovely place to stay - stylish, comfortable and very well equipped for a baby. A cool, wet start to the week was more than made up for by Karen's delicious cake! It has been such a pleasure discovering this corner of France.
We truly had a fantastic holiday. I needed the rest and some time with my children and parents and Château Entre-Deux-Mers certainly afforded me that. Again thank you, your château is lovely and it provided my family with some great memories of a relaxing holiday in France.

What a lovely week we have spent here exploring the Loire. We have throughly enjoyed returning each evening to the quiet sanctuary of this beautiful home - a true taste of France! Thank you for allowing us to holiday at Château Trieux, it didn't disappoint! What a truly wonderful house and holiday experience we had. After exploring for a few hours on arrival it really felt like home. The children loved the pool, sporting facilities and quad bikes. The floodlit tennis court made for some great fun away from the day time heat. Whilst we loved the space and beautifully appointed rooms. You have a real gem in Château Trieux and the nearby town of Bergerac and many villages and markets as promised didn't disappoint either, simply stunning!! Thank you again and will definitely book for next year.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in oyur villa, Philippe. The perfect place for 70th birthday celebrations/family reunion. The pool is so well set up for relaxing, socialising and being able to keep an eye on the kids. After a week in the pool, our daughter was able to swim independently by the end! Thank you for your warm and friendly hosting: the welcome cheese, breakfast pastries, brilliant meal at La Tour de Montady, fabulous wine tasting at Saint-Chinian - it has all beenso memorable and made the trip that much better. Other highlights have been many bike rides through the vines, a trip to Chichoulet Beach, discovering the butcher and pâtissière in Cazouls-les-Béziers and enjoying the local produce by the pool every evening.
Thank you for another lovely holiday at the Loft - it has been as perfect as we remembered! We wish you every success with the final push with the renovation works - it is destined to look amazing next door too. See you all again soon. What an incredible week away in a wonderful house! We enjoyed a trip to Jonzac and St Georges de Didonne but mainly stayed at the house with everything it has to offer. Games room for family rounds of table tennis, the pool temperature was fabulous and the house itself very spacious and comfortable. Thank you for the Welcome hamper all the great comms ahead of our stay and for letting us enjoy this haven!
Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Villa Montplaisir. This is a lovely villa in a nice location. The owner could not have been more helpful and we were provided with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
We are having a great time and the house is just perfect. The kids are loving the games room and the pool - our 11 year old is pretty much wrinkly all the time!
The house is magnificent and lends itself to perfect moments of sharing. Its cozy side, its very complete equipment invite us to enjoy every moment. The rooms offer independence and great comfort. The whole family loved it. The view is magnificent at any time and the terrace becomes a pure joy with the first ray of sunshine. The surroundings have nothing to envy of Tuscany and this gentle way of life! Sandie and David were very friendly and met all our expectations. We will come back with pleasure.
In the middle of the vineyards in the countryside is this wonderful house, with a heated pool and a whirlpool. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to indulge in culinary delights. Within a very short time (25 minutes) you can reach the beaches of Vias and Valras. Large cities such as Béziers can be reached in 15 minutes. The hosts were very friendly and we really appreciated the communication to learn a little more about the area and the people. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stop by again soon.
Lovely holiday home. This was the first time we had stayed in this area of Perigord. The house was fantastic, very large for 4 people and had a really good swimming pool. The house is only 2 km from the river which is also lovely to swim in. There is also a lake nearby at Grolejac as well if you prefer that. The property is in a quiet but central location with numerous beautiful towns to visit nearby (e.g. Domme and Sarlat) and lots of activities to enjoy. We had a great 2 week holiday here!
Thank you so much for the very warm welcome, all the ‘goodies’ you provided and of course the use of your very well equipped Loft. It felt like we had always known you (perhaps because we’re all Northerners!). The Italian restaurant in the village is great to be able to walk to. A few degrees below 38 would have been preferable, but out of your control! Good luck with the house.
We had an excellent stay in this magnificent house where everything has been thought out so that young and old can make the most of the holidays. We were a group of 3 couples and 4 children and each got enough space and privacy. The house is very beautiful, well decorated and pleasant to live in. The garden is very beautiful and the pool area is perfect! The barn converted into a games room was also very popular (especially since the sun was not there). The kitchen is fully equipped. In short, we highly recommend this rental!
We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Château Entre-Deux-Mers. I was delighted by the charm of this château. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all : it's situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available). So we can certainly recommend this place!
Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.
A magnificent place for the family with everything to share great moments and enjoy privacy... The property has many different areas which will satisfy everybody. Guaranteed serenity in the heart of the Basque countryside.

We stayed at Villa La Baronne for a week in early October. We were blessed with good weather and the surrounding area is beautiful and historically very interesting. As for the property itself, Villa La Baronne offers every possible amenity a guest might wish for. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The living areas are spacious and inviting. Outside the garden is lovely and has ample space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The swimming pool is of a great size and in cooler temperatures it is heated. We had a lovely time and the hosts were exceptional. Can't recommend this villa enough. Book it while you can!
We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Chanlie; the house is set in wonderful, quiet surroundings and is beautifully furnished. Everything was in place to make us feel very welcome on our arrival. We had a couple of questions following arrival and the owner was really prompt in providing helpful guidance and again welcoming us to the property. The information pack provided at the property was very detailed and was invaluable in terms of guidance on local amenities and made great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our young daughter was well catered for with plenty of toys and books to keep her amused when the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside spaces. Similarly the house has a large collection of games and DVDs for adults too! Overall a really enjoyable week and we would jump at the chance to return!
The villa has been all we hoped for and more. The accommodation is superb as are all the facilities. What a bonus to have the (choose and order) breakfast deliveries,. The lemon cake was gorgeous. Would recommend the Tuesday market at Clairac Market. Our week was VERY HOT – so we made very good use of the lovely pool. We enjoyed walking / cycling into Mauvezin. The shopkeepers were all very friendly and welcoming. The villa was perfect for our family of 8. Would absolutely recommend it. Merci beaucoup Philippe, superb host and translator!
Great place to stay and perfect for the three families we had on our trip. The children loved the pool and boules court and the adults loved sitting on the patio with a glass of rosé watching the sun set. Look forward to coming back.
