Super stay, so much to see in the area. Lovely comfortable cottage, a home from home. The pool was a real treat and saw deers and cows around the grounds. A wonderful place for a family holiday. The house is perfectly stocked; really no want for anything. You have thought of it all, extra bits in the kitchen, games, great chairs by the pool. We loved every minute!
We had a wonderful week. The house is arranged and decorated with care, where it feels good. And what a view, what tranquility... On a family weekend, everyone was charmed and delighted by Sue's house. Very large, comfortable and nicely decorated house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool, ideally located on the banks of the Canal du Midi. Sue is very friendly and welcoming. We recommend and will return for a relaxing weekend.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.
After a week in Barcelona it was a pleasure to find this week equipped house. We arrived with 4 boys who enjoyed the pool and played a lot. Very calm location. Nice trips around. Very good bakery, 5 minutes drive! Thanks. it was great!
We had a pleasant stay with friends in the charming area of Stanislas. We were 12 adults with children and the two houses allowed us to each have our own private space, it was nice. Special mention for the outside which offers an unobstructed view, with lots of vegetation. I recommend this accommodation :)
What a week at Château Richelieu, where we were fortunate enough to get married in front of 90 of our closest friends and family! To say it was an amazing experience and venue would almost be doing it a dis-service! It's hard to put down in words just how perfect our big day was at Château Richelieu. It would be very difficult to beat as a venue for a wedding and we would not have had our day anywhere else in the world. Our hosts could not have done any more for us. The support before, during and after the wedding has been above and beyond. Honestly, cannot recommend Château Richelieu highly enough and we will definitely be returning with friends / family for another visit.
A lovely property that worked well for our family of 5 adults. The outside space and pool were great and we liked the location of the house.

All 7 of us had an amazing time at Richard and Gay's stunning villa. From the pool house to their courtyards to the kitchen, every one of their beautifully restored spaces added something different. Incredibly easy to deal with, they both looked after us from the minute we got in contact with them to the day we (extremely reticently!) left. They went above and beyond, booking us into a local restaurant for our first night and even doing a light shop so we wouldn't be without provisions when all the shops were shut! The house is surrounded by stunning scenery, with a seeming never ending supply of French villages, towns and monuments to explore. If we came back every year for the rest of our lives we still wouldn't see everything. Huge thanks to both and we will hopefully see you again soon!
We certainly had a restful and memorable holiday at Château Monjardin... the house and grounds are magnificent and provided a lovely quiet retreat that the whole family enjoyed.

Wow! What an amazing house in such a wonderful location! We've just come back from spending a week here and I was so sad to leave. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautifullt decorated. You really couldn't ask for a better location - the street is very peaceful (we didn't hear a thing, despite sitting out in the garden until late in the evening, every night) and yet you are in the centre of town within few minutes walk - we loved strolling into the main part of town for an ice cream in the day or a drink at night. Parking is easy; we didn't use the garage in the end despite having two cars between us. The pool is wonderful, especially when its really hot and the decked area and BBQ just make the garden a really relaxing, usable space to enjoy.
An amazing week of relaxation. Spent a fantastic week at Château Velouse. Located in a tiny village the château is just a short drive from lots of interesting locations in the Loire valley. Château Velouse has everything you need for a relaxing week - beautiful bedrooms, lovely outdoor pool, barbeque and al fresco dining area and lovely dining room and lounge. We chose to self-catering but there are options to hire in a chef to prepare meals for your group. There was also lots of information in the château guide about other tailored services that were available such as wine tours. Claire and Phil made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and recommended places to visit.
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
Such a lovely well appointed cottage. We had a warm welcome from Caterina when we arrived. Comfy bed, great shower and well equipped kitchen. Weather is now quite autumnal, cool with showers. But even so, we went out somewhere different every day. Sarlat, Domme, Château de Losse. After reading other guests' comments in this book, we discovered some pretty villages we wouldn't have known about. Fanlac, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, Saint-Amand-de-Coly and Saint-Géniès. All reached by lovely countryside views. This cottage would be a perfect place to stay in the summer months, where you would benefit from the lovely pool and outside eating areas. The week went by far too quickly, but we will have our memories and many photos to look back on. Thank you Caterina and Steve.
The Domaine de Nérige is magnificent. The house is very well equipped and very large. We were 14 friends and were able to enjoy this warm and party-friendly place. Sandie and available while being very discreet. Our stay was truly perfect!
We just wanted to say thank you for a great week in your beautiful house. It is a magical place and we have fond memories already. Thanks for arranging for Suzanne to cook for us. Her dinners were a great success and her sorbet surprises were a matter of intrigue on both evenings! We hope to come back again in the future and we look forward to seeing you again.
This is a beautiful, fully modernised house in a lovely friendly village. A well designed spacious house over two floors with a large balcony from the modernised kitchen and lounge overlooking the pool and views of the surrounding areas The property is perfect for lazing by the pool and is Ideally placed for trips to many nearby beaches and to the cities of Narbonne, Béziers and Montpellier.
Time seems to have stood still for these 10 days. And yet it passed quickly. An idyllic setting, calm at all times, 2 charming and attentive hosts. We loved our stay at Colombat Cottage.
Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!
