We enjoyed our stay in your wonderful holiday house. We loved the furniture and decorations, especially the maps! The of the hills is just great! We walked in the area and always came back to this great house with the fantastic pool. Thank you for everything.

Driving down the lane to Maison Bourriette, you know you are on holiday. The farmhouse, set in lovely grounds with views over the countryside, is charming, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. There are markets, hilltop villages and beautiful country walks on the doorstep to explore and then a wonderful warm pool to really unwind! Evenings relaxing by lamplight in the stunning courtyard with wine and friends - memories are made of this!

This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! We (4 adults - 2 generations) spent a fantastic week in this super gîte. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Outside, in the very large garden, was the lovely pool which was cleaned daily. The outside kitchen was lovely for BBQ's. There were also lots of seating areas, shaded and sunny, we were spoilt for choice. We walked to the bakery in the morning as the gîte is close to the village. The lovely owners were welcoming and helpful. Happy to recommend.
We have absolutely loved our stay in this perfect house. The pool has been a necessity due to temps in mid-high. All in all, it's been a wonderful fortnight and we've enjoyed rediscovering places that we visited here 20 years ago.
This was our second stay at The Cottage du Jardin and it certainly not be our last. Caterina and Steven are perfect host who were wonderful company when the time was appropriate but gave us full privacy at all other time. To be honest, they were both like good neighbours and made us feel as if we were at home. We could speak too highly of the region, the cottage or of Cat and Steve. Thanks for a lovely week.
We stay at the apartment for 3 days. The apartment is exactly as described, modern and new residential building, great location right near the beach and walkable distance from local restaurants and shops. The apartment has everything needed and gives amazing feeling of being "at home". We will definitely want to stay again in the amazing place.

What a beautiful, spaceous and clean place. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very nice area in the garden to relax by the pool, to have a bite on the terrace or to have drinks at your cosy private bar the area in the corner. Inside area has a very nice cool temperature, even when it's 38°C outside. Perfect. Slept like a bear! Absolutely loved my stay, which was too short! Adore the house and flowers, love the owners. Had a great time.
We've had an amazing time thanks. Visited as many places as the kids will tolerate and we somehow did the Renoir museum without breaking anything!! They’ve both absolutely loved the pool and their swimming has improved loads. Our youngest, Hal, has gone from tentatively swimming 5m to now confidently doing 20 lengths without stopping. We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. What a fantastic house in such a lovely location! We had a really wonderful break and enjoyed visiting the local châteaux and villages. Jackie was so prompt in replying to messages. The house and pool provided everything we needed. We definitely would love to return sometime. Thank you so much.
A lovely base for our 2 weeks! The outside covered area + kitchen were great. We spent most of our stay set there watching the amazing wildlife! We saw deer, lizards, hawks + even got to see the baby birds nesting over the door to the outside loo leave the nest! Monflanquin was beautiful! Cathy + Stéphane were lovely + we loved watching Stéphane's 2 CV car driving around! Thank you.
We have so enjoyed our week here in our very own secret garden. Who would imagine there would be such a magical place waiting for us, just a second from the road? After many moments of uncertainty, it has been a huge tonic to relax in the sunshine in this beautiful garden and enjoy relaxing with our daughters. We haven’t explored very much beyond the Loft, but the countryside is beautiful, the wine and food delicious and the canoeing trip exhilarating and at times a little scary! Karen and Russell are the perfect hosts - always present but never in your space. They have created a perfect holiday home - immaculate and brilliantly equipped, and the fridge and cupboards generously filled to enhance your welcome and stay. We have enjoyed hours by the perfect pool and will fondly remember our 2021 say here. Hopefully we will be back! Thank you, Karen and Russell for everything.
Expect a warm welcome from friendly and helpful owners, Nicky and Richard to the lovey château. Beautifully located among vine covered fields and wooded hills, we'd enjoyed the peace, the views, the wonderful pool and the space. The château is not far from some pretty villages dotted around the River Lot and Cahors is only 25 minutes away. Plenty to do and see in the area, with the opportunity to return back to our holiday oasis where we could barbecue and relax or play a round of golf on site in their vast grounds. Loved it.

We have had a lovely relaxing weeknight at the castle. Wine tasting at the Chateau Grand Pierre. Night market in the village. Butchers and boulangerie I the village both excellent. Pleasant setting for pizza intent little square. House lovely. Setting on outskirts of the village was perfect for us. Thank you for sharing the home grown tomatoes from the garden.
We are three couples in our 60's from Colorado in the U.S. who enjoy travel, especially in Europe. Over the past three years we have traveled to Italy, Portugal, Spain and France. We would define ourselves as independent travelers enjoying the process of researching destinations, places to stay, renting cars and getting out to see a bigger world. That of course means getting lost from time to time, finding restaurants that are fabulous and some that are so-so and booking houses or B&Bs. My top five reasons for loving Maison Charvin include: 5. If after traveling to many parts of the world you find that smaller can be better as I have, Maison Charvin (MC) is a great fit. Located in the village of Montlaur where there is a small grocery store and a couple other small shops, people are friendly and you feel safe. It isn't too far from a number of good destinations. 4. Four bedrooms, all ensuite. Since we are no longer in our 20's we prefer some comforts and conveniences! Beds were comfortable and each couple had their own quiet space. We prefer renting one extra bedroom so, as happened on this trip, if one person gets sick or has jet lag and waking up at 4:00 am there is an extra room. 3. Fully stocked kitchen. I would start looking for some odd item like a garlic press and think I doubt there is one and lo and behold there always was what we needed! I've never stayed at a place that had a kitchen as well equipped. 2. Value - incredible value for a week's stay. We stayed during the lower season rate, but looking at the rates, it would be good value at anytime of the year. 1. The owner, Sharon. From the very start of communications she was helpful and timely in her email responses to my inquiries. And always with a great sense of humor. Earlier I mentioned we had some illness. Sharon took my wife and I to her doctor, waited with us, translated for us and went to the pharmacy to be sure we received the correct medications. It was easy to see that she wants her clients to have the best experience possible. If South Western France small towns are in your future, be sure to check out Maison Charvin!
Foreign and familiar. Grand and intimate. Giving us frivolity and solitude. Château La Roche-Posay had given us exactly what we needed. The host made our stay all the more enjoyable with the perfect amount of attention. Thank you for helping us to open our eyes to a beautiful part of France!
