A lovely house, well-designed, great garden and swimming pool, lots of things to do. We do recommend this house for a holiday. We will certainly be back soon for a longer stay. Many thanks for your warm welcome and your kindness.

We have travelled all our lives and recently decided to change our style. Instead of hiking or always-on-the-move vacations, we thought we would try renting a home to use a base. We couldn't be happier with our decision, but much of the credit belongs to this wonderful villa and Philippe, truly a host extraordinaire. Our only fear is that the bar has been set so high now that future rentals will suffer in comparison. Maureilhan, although not much in itself, is perfectly located for trips in the area, whether to Sète, Béziers, Roquebrun, Sérignan or Montpellier. One final note: although we rented the villa for ourselves, we had three sets of friends drop by for a few days each. With its separate quarters, the villa is perfect for two or three couples. The dinners provided by Philippe at Pour Pas were highlights. So thank you, Philippe. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more.

We had a fabulous holiday, thank you ! What a lovely location; very peaceful but within easy access of a variety of places to visit - Nice, Saint Paul de Vence, Vence, Grasse and everything to offer along the French Riviera. The house is large and comfortable with space for families or groups of friends to spread out. There is ample outside space to enjoy - around the pool, behind the house to have shade and beside the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee. The view from the pool is stunning allowing one to see a huge distance along the coast - that will live long in our memory!

We have had such a happy and relaxing week at Piglet and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you both and sharing your beautiful home and garden. We have visited many properties in France and this is one ofthe loveliest ! Vouvant is a delightful village with its interesting history and vibrant community.The guided walk of the village is recommended as well as a visit to the zoo - great for kids. Mas de Clouze is a stunning, peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and lounging by the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too - great walks, pétanque, table tennis and of course the heated swimming pool.
We have just returned from Château des Dragons after a wonderful family holiday with seven adults and five children. On arrival at this historical château we were greeted by the owners who showed us around their magnificent château with its beautiful antique furniture. They had provided a Welcome Pack of local food delicacies and essentials. The rooms were generous in size and decorated in keeping with the period. The kitchen was fitted with modern appliances and provided everything you may need. The rear terrace sited a larger table where we could all dine together and also barbecue. The heated pool was a great success especially with the children. The extensive wooded grounds were perfect for exploring and playing games. A tranquil place to unwind.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Mas du Château is really beautiful and tastefully finished. Great location with beautiful views and surrounded by villages to visit. We were the first to rent and we can say that everything was planned for comfort and well thought out for the party (beautiful lights and sound system available). I totally recommend! Thank you and keep it up! :)
You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!
The most enjoyable part of France. The most enjoyable stay in “luxe” villa. Highlights: fresh veg from Duras market on Monday. eating out at Eymet, almost any restaurant will do, but particular favourites are Cour d’Eymet and Château les Vigiers. watching the red kites hunting over the fields in the evening . The lizards and the geko on the patio. All in all a memorable experience.
Two splendid weeks relaxing and sight seeing with a very beautiful home to come back too. We can't fault the house, we especially loved the kitchen, pool room, swimming pool and of course the marvellous views.
As regular visitors we choose this area for over 30 years. This is without doubt the loveliest property we we ever had. The location and settings are glorious. We loved to sat in every places of the garden and at different times of the day. Loved the relaxing and beautiful pool area enjoyed the tasteful but functional rooms and cooked every night in this well appointed kitchen. All the small touches and details show great level of consideration from the owners. Thank you so much Frederick has been welcoming and helpful it was lovely to come back and we hope to return at least once next year.

Beautiful house, even more beautiful than in the photos! The exterior is magical, the house is super clean and very well-equipped, the decor is neat down to the smallest details and very elegant. Gabian is a charming village. We'll be happy to go back to this little paradise whose hostess is adorable.

You were very kind whenever we had a question. We had a very good dinner at La Licorne, and joyous visits to Azay le Rideau, Villandry and Chenonceaux - all so much better restored, managed and presented than 20 years ago. Thank you for this great stay. The pool was warm, but the rosé was very cold. Bélaye is the most beautiful city in the world, visiting Montcuq was resplendent. We will leave here rested and recharged. 5/5
Like the previous tenants, we appreciated the calm, the swimming pool, the breakfast on the terrace with the pretty view of the vineyards and the scrubland, the sunsets so different every day. We were particularly appreciative of the very nice amenities for this quiet house for getting together with family. The swimming pool is very large and with a breathtaking view of nature and the vineyards. The region is very beautiful and the surroundings are worth it. We had a very good holiday and Marie who welcomes you is very pleasant. Christiane, the owner, takes great care to ensure that your stay goes as smoothly as possible. The equipment in the house, whether furniture or kitchen area, is top notch.
We loved staying in your beautiful home. The facilities, garden, decor and views were stunning. Frederic has looked after us so well. We have taken long country walks, visited local villages and markets. We went to Les Eyzies for tones of incredible caves including Rouffignac. We had a fantastic week of vacation with friends at Mas du Château. The house, the pool, the bedding, the exteriors... everything is set up to have a perfect time! The house is perfectly insulated so that the most fetards in the group can take care of your feet in the water and the rest can sleep without problem. We'll be happy to go back, including off-season!:) Christophe is an available and attentive host. He has carefully renovated the house with care and commitment.

Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!
