On a family weekend, everyone was charmed and delighted by Sue's house. Very large, comfortable and nicely decorated house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool, ideally located on the banks of the Canal du Midi. Sue is very friendly and welcoming. We recommend and will return for a relaxing weekend.

Just wanted to follow up to say how great it was at Maison Brunet. We really enjoyed our stay. The house , especially the kitchen were well equipped to enjoy the local food produce. The house was spotless on arrival and is decoratively finished. The pool was refreshing, clean and a great benefit during the warm summer days. We were a family of 5 with a dog and all had a great time at the house with the gardens and grounds. Thanks.

Thank you so much Isabelle for letting us stay in your gorgeous house in Bordeaux. The house is huge and beautifully finished. It feels both luxurious and like a comfortable family home. Caroline made us feel very welcome and we really appreciated the grocery shop on arrival with several hungry children in tow. The pool was such a hit, especially when the weather got really hot. The area is stunning too. We will be back!

We have had a great quiet stay in your house! We went one day to Carcassonne by car and visit the beautiful area. The pool is great, we will miss it!
Beautifully renovated Villa. Well equipped kitchen, large pool and lots of ensuite bedrooms. Has everything to keep you entertained whether it’s full sunshine or rain. The owners were super helpful and always a text away if we needed anything. Small town nearby and a big supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay again in the future!
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Our week at the villa was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived we were struck by the peacefulness of the surroundings. The villa itself is beautifully maintained. It was very windy during our stay and Philippe came each morning to clean the pool! We spent hours in the pool - it is just beautiful! Every day brought a new adventure – the wine tasting tour at Le Cave was really interesting (although we did end up spending a fortune! Philippe was just the perfect host – so lovely. The pastries delivered twice weekly were lovely and a huge thank you to Philippe for the birthday cakes for my husband's 60th on the Friday! The meal that Philippe paid for at La Tour was just amazing – so much so we decided to return for birthday celebrations. It has been the kind of stay that recharges you in every way. We are leaving relaxed, inspired and already planning our return! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a serene French escape paired with genuine and caring hospitality! Thank you so much Philippe – we are so so sad to be leaving but wonderful memories made!
We have stayed now on five occasions and will return again. Accommodation has everything you could wish for in self-catering accommodation and the pool is superb. Lovely little villages to visit nearby as well as Nice, Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Monaco all within easy reach. Easy drive from Nice Airport to a very peaceful location.
This is the most wonderful place to have a family holiday; beautifully furnished, spotless, spacious and as peaceful as you could possibly hope a holiday to be. The pool is glorious, we spent hours playing table tennis, had wonderful meals on the big table outside and we watched the stars at night time. In the local area are vineyards, beautiful mediaeval towns and castles and lots of lovely food to be found in markets. It’s a perfect place for a happy holiday.

Gorgeous. Very well maintained, yet still updated with modern amenities. All in all, an amazing stay and trip and we'd recommend Château Charente to anyone touring the area.
Lovely. Brilliant for kids and enjoyed walking in the area. Pool and playroom were a big hit. Catering delicious. Fantastic service. On hand when needed but not always around which is great. Really enjoyed it. Thanks.
