I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and we felt very lucky to be able to stay. We were lucky with the weather and swam every day after market trips. The house is one of the (if not the) best we have ever stayed in and we are making plans to return when we can.
It’s such a beautiful villa in a wonderful location. The owners touches and approach make it a very special place and we will be back in the future. A very special villa which we love. The whole experience is also hugely aided by Frédéric and the way he manage the property and interact with the visitors. It makes a big difference.
TOP address where it is wonderful to relax, you imagine yourself as a lord and lady! Pure indulgence and warm hospitable owners who do everything they can to pamper you.
We had a marvellous holiday at le Chambarru. It was the nicest house we have stayed in during our many visits to France over the years.

We had a lovely week in this quaint house. It was secluded with a lovely pool which was cleaned twice during our week. Which was ideal as it was quite windy. We had no faults with our stay and the owner was helpful when required. I would like to point out that air conditioning is only downstairs, kitchen and bedroom with pull out sofa bed in. There was an air conditioning unit in the top bedroom which was satisfactory. That would be my only comment on what was a lovely week that it should be clearer in the description where it is.
Great stay in your wonderful home. Enjoyed exploring the area including Nerac and its chateau museum. Good lunch at Le Vert Gentil next to the river in Nerac. Loved the lily gardens at Temple Sur Lot and managed to get a table for lunch without booking. Beautiful setting and pretty good food too! Night market here (last of the season) was great fun and amazing setting overlooking the lot valley. Janet and Mark you’ve been great hosts and really helpful. Thank you.
Many thanks for letting us stay in your lovely house. We really enjoyed the pool and the peace. It's so well positioned for local amenities, shops and restaurants, the beach and the mountains etc.

Fantastic barn conversion, amazing location and wonderful facilities including a large swimming pool. Would highly recommend. The owner was super helpful throughout. The local villages have all the shops and services needed. We loved the rolling hills for jogging.
There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family. The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house - we have all enjoyed the beautiful home and gardens and all the attention to detail. We very much enjoyed the night market in Laparade although not really a market but more a fiesta! Very much recommend. A fantastic stay and wonderful house!
We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We all just loved it!

We had a lovely time at your house, we really like Pézenas and the surrounding area. The house itself was superb and very well equipped, we and our 18, 20 and 21 year old children were very happy. Being able to enjoy the shops and restaurants in Pézenas then wander back to the tranquillity of the house made for a great holiday.

I thoroughly enjoyed the walks that we went on and I was grateful for the time that you both took to do that, which you didn't need to do. It was so relaxing and the views were stunning. We celebrated a week's holiday with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, has a beautiful and complete interior, but still has an authentic appearance. The space in and around the house is gigantic and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone: from a nice swimming pool with many sun loungers to a room with numerous games and a good tennis court. Highly recommended for a family holiday. We will definitely go back again.

Now we are back from a fabulous holiday staying in Grand Mauran, I just wanted to say we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, it was so well equipped and had everything we could possible need for a holiday with a baby. Having the pool heated was a real joy. All the instructions were good and our questions were answered very promptly. We definitely will be back.
Perfect! Cottage du Jardin is beautiful with real attention to detail and the pool is amazing! It was lovely and quiet but close enough to everything we needed, lots of historic towns/villages with great markets to wander around and great chateaux! Would absolutely stay again, a lovely relaxing holiday.

We have just returned from our stay and wanted to let you know what a lovely place this is. Firstly the property itself is extremely comfortable with a beautifully maintained pool in a lovely setting overlooking the vineyards. The proprietors, Debbie and Rupert, are very welcoming and helpful. They are not intrusive but they do go the extra mile to make the holiday enjoyable. Everything was included that we could possibly have needed and Debbie gave us some delicious home made yoghurt for breakfast. Secondly, this is a brilliant area to visit. It's located pretty much on a crossroads between different areas, so whichever direction you travel in the countryside is different and there are some incredible places to visit: beautiful villages, vineyards, Cahors, the river Lot and its valley, Peche Merle for prehistory and a lovely little prehistory museum in Luzech with some amazing exhibits. We've re-visited places we've been to over the years and also seen some new. It has been everything that we could have wanted - and more.
