Thank you for a much needed relaxing couple of week. We very much appreciated your kind consideration for our comfort. This has been our first escape from London for three years and it certainly did not disappoint. The high temperatures slightly constrained our ambitions, but Camirout is a holiday in its own right! For the last 10 years, a whole group of friends and now growing amount of children have been going on holidays. We found Mas de la Rivière by chance by doing a search for 'a big house to rent in France'. Well the house is huge! We were so pleased and extremely surprised to see how much space they were when we arrived. The owners were away but we were greeted buy lovely girl where everything was and how everything worked. The house is child friendly with a huge swimming pool (with a slide). A huge trampoline, climbing frame / slide / swings and table tennis. There is enough bikes for all the kids to ride around the gardens and woods around the property are vast. We were told to help ourselves to their fruit and vegetables. The kitchen was really well equipped with lots of child friendly stuff like cups and plates etc. The rooms all had ensuite bathrooms and were extremely comfortable with good mattresses and fans in all the rooms. Mid week the lovely cleaners came and changed all the bedding and towels and cleaned all the bathrooms. The house has Wi-Fi throughout with meant that some of us could work if needed. And of course browse Facebook and Instagram.

Stunning renovation, not a person or light in front of us, fresh linen, ample space to relax and a place where we all could unwind with the family, we will be back again. 100%.
The host was great. She went out of her way to make us feel at home. The area is picturesque and great for exploring the wine region.

Niall, Steve, Sue and the team made us all feel most welcome and allowed us to make the place our own for the week, which was great and made for a very memorable holiday that was enjoyed by the whole family. Many thanks to all for making this possible.
We rented the villa with 2 other couples and all had a fabulous time. The Eyermanns were wonderful hosts and provided us with a wonderful home base for a travels to Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo and Antibes for day trips on short drives. We took walks to the sea every day and the 3 bakeries and food store plus many resturants are only minutes away. We made use of the heated pool every day and can honestly say we never ate a meal indoors. The weather was fabulous. This was an unbelievable vacation we will always remember!
Had the most relaxing week just wished we'd booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Maison Baleyssagues is so peaceful and tranquil and somehow the walls resonate with the music within. Perfect, Thank you Frédéric.

Thanks for the welcome pack of wine, water and coffee. The house is excellently located to explore the old town of Pézenas. Check out the Saturday market, it's incredible. The house and pool are great, comfortable and well laid out.

Wonderful time in a wonderful house. So peaceful here. The house had everything we could possibly want and more besides (including a visiting woodpecker). Laparade night market was a highlight. The restaurant there is pretty fabulous too. We spent loong days by the pool and long evenings on the terrace. Frédérique and Hélène at the shop provided all we needed including homemade lasagne. And Olivia couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you, Mark and Janet.
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
An amazing week spent with family celebrating a 50th birthday location was perfect, quiet but close to amenities such as a lovely bakery and shops. The property has everything: plenty of space to relax but also plenty of space to socialise and mingle. Philippe was an amazing host, providing an introduction to the property and location, bringing pastries twice during our stay and proving a complementary wine tour of Saint-Chinian and evening meal at Le Pourquoi Pas (which was to die for food and location). Highly recommend during your stay to take a boat tour down the Canal du Midi from Colombiers and kayaking down the river Orb from Roquebun. Thank you for your hospitality.
Excellent stay in a real castle. We loved our stay at this château! We stayed with extended family and loved the options for the kids inside and out. The owner was very friendly and greeted us personally on the first day. There was a zip line that the kids adored as well as a number of other indoor and outdoor activities. I highly recommend this experience to other families.

We had an excellent stay in March in this large, very well appointed and superbly equipped house to accommodate our group of 11 people. Beautiful amenities in the house, quality bedding and a paradise for children. With its large swimming pool, its two terraces and its numerous outdoor games, the area must be even more appreciated in the summer season. We highly recommend this rental, ideal for large families or groups of friends. We were able to discover an enchanting setting in the region. We enjoyed the calm and beauty of the surrounding countryside. Obviously, we couldn't resist the desire to taste the extraordinary local products (wines, gastronomy, etc.). An exceptional place in which we will return for a vacation.

Had a wonderful 2 weeks at the Maison Baleyssagues in Lot-et-Garonne. Great days out in Bordeaux and the countryside. Weather great for the most part. Really enjoyed the super pool - which has been the best so far. Thanks so much to Frederic for being such an entertaining host. See you gain soon.
