If you're looking for French charm and a true get away, then Le Mas de Combet is the place for you. A beautiful house with everything you need for a trip away with family or friends (the accommodation in the barn is so handy for young familys too). The property has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored plus communication was spot on, it was easy to book and any questions I had were answered promptly.
Where do I start?! Truly one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed. The property sits in a stunning location with beautiful mountain views yet is just a short drive from Limoux which offers everything you might need. It’s also a very easy and short drive to Carcassonne with all of its shops and attractions (and international airport). Close to beautiful Mediterranean coastline, the rugged Montagne Noir and the wonderful Pyrenees, there are too many amazing sights to list (or to see in one holiday)... if you can drag yourself away from Domaine de Nérige that is. The property itself is far beyond adequate description in words or photographs. It is utterly magical. Every aspect of the house itself and the experience it offers has been carefully and lovingly thought through by the hosts and the result is exceptional. It’s certainly not easy to achieve both elegance and comfort but they have, masterfully. As well as being entirely beautiful, the accommodation is impressively spacious- we stayed as two families over five of the bedrooms, but had we filled all bedrooms it would have felt no less spacious because of its clever and generous arrangement. It’s perfectly appointed, with an incredible kitchen with every gadget and utensil you could possibly want, an outdoor dining area with gas bbq and hot plate, luxurious towels and linen (including towels for the pool), music player, DVDs, outdoor games (table tennis, swing ball, table football, pétanque), pool table room and then there’s the swimming pool! An immaculately kept pool terrace with sun loungers, wooden pergola and even an outdoor shower. The swimming pool was fabulous for adults and children alike, being large enough for swimming lengths but also with a shallow end for the children. Kept as meticulously as the rest of the property, the pool is cleaned every morning. The hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming from beginning to end. Due to travel disruptions we had to change the dates of our stay several times and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Before we arrived Sandie had even arranged to do a grocery shop for us! She was also kind enough to arrange for a therapist to come to the house during our stay so we could have a much needed massage! I think it’s indicative of just how special this place is that everyone in our party fell entirely in love with it, children and adults alike. We can’t wait to go back.
We had a fantastic stay. The house is absolutely lovely, the pool and garden likewise. Sarlat is superb with its old well preserved center. We loved just walking around there and have great meals in the restaurants (there are plenty).
We have stayed several times in this superb house, very well equipped, the swimming pool is great and the view is breathtaking. This little village is worth the detour.
This was one of the very best holiday experiences we have ever had. Superb accommodation, spacious and elegant with a stunning pool and table tennis. The area is glorious with mediaeval towns, wineries and close to Bergerac airport should that be required. It really is a spectacular location and can recommend it without any reservation, not least as the owners are completely committed to the satisfaction of their clients. It’s outstanding.
We cannot think of a more wonderful house and beautiful location for a superb holiday. You have been the most perfect hosts. We have loved our early morning walks in the countryside - the perfect backdrop for our engagement.
We spent 5 days in September in Château Entre-Deux-Mers, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurious experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine châteaux to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Villa Bellara. It was immaculate and is perfectly positioned to access to supermarket, patisserie, beaches and numerous quality restaurants and a short walk to the train station - which we used most days to visit other coastal resorts. The villa was considerably larger than we expected and was well equipped for our stay. The quiet residential location was a bonus after having busy days out. All in all a perfect property. We had a very good week at Le Manoir de la Compagnie. The property is very quiet, in a beautiful site (large garden, beautiful trees...). It is very well equipped: top bedding, sheets/towels/tea towels provided as well as shower gel and shampoo, large and well equipped kitchen, everything is well calibrated for a group of 12 adults. The rooms are large and well decorated. The owners are charming, available without being intrusive and have a family history that is interesting to discover. In short, I completely recommend this rental

This property is an oasis of calm, exquisitely redeveloped and fitted out without losing the charm and character of the original distillery. Equipment, facilities, decor and soft furnishings are of the highest standard. We had a wonderful holiday here, the garden and swimming pool area is a real gem and the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the markets in Nyons and Vaison la romaine, the Roman ruins in Vaison and Sault and the cave paintings at Chauvet-pont d’acr are astonishing, we also enjoyed the local wines, it was very special drinking Audrey Latards wonderful wines knowing they are from the vines at the end of the garden, Thank you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maison Labarde, it was a very well equipped property with a first class swimming pool and well maintained garden. Jean and Martin the owners made us feel very much at home and we were entertained by the very friendly dog Tanner.

We have had a wonderful and memorable two weeks here. You both have been very helpful and thoughtful. Highlights for us were relaxing by the pool, the great markets at Cahors and Prayssac, the daily petit déjeuner at Chez Lajo and C. using Frans' smoker and BBQ! We are looking forward to returning!
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
A week stay with all the family. Villa Colline is a superb ultra modern luxury villa, fitted with stunning furniture and accessories. The modern kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms are all very luxurious, especially the master room with its hot tub. For me, it was the pool and the numerous sun terraces which pleased me, especially the private areas with each room - little havens of peace! We had a fantastic week and we give the villa 10/10 ! Thank you!
