Pete has been a brilliant host with lots of recommendations. Thank you! We have had a fantastic stay at a beautiful location. With our 3 children (12, 10 and 7) we have really enjoyed Chateau de Biron – lots of outdoor toys / games for the kids + a nice picnic area. Lac de Lougratte – safe swimming / paddling for little ones, a diving pontoon and inflatable courses for older ones. Take a picnic! Canoeing (Canoe Rabaska) + Monflanquin night market at Loubéjac.
Very atmospheric, beautifully quiet, well equipped villa. Great pool and ideal for a large family stay. Nice market found 9 km to the left, at the bottom of the hill. Great local scenery, walks and bike rides and easy driving! Pool is fantastic and clean. Lower floor really cool when it gets hot! We've all had a great relaxing time!
Panoramic views of the countryside and a short drive to a local village where we could get all of our suppliers, every aspect of the stay was catered for and a stunning pool. So peaceful and tranquil, we didn’t want to leave. Just perfect.
Thanks for a lovely two weeks here at Piglet. We have absolutely loved staying here. Thanks for such a warm welcome and the extra touches, too ! We've loved getting to know the village and will miss our café noisettes and glass of wine at the café. And the crepes and ice cream are fabulous. Loved exploring the area, especially the Plages des Belugas.
Mas du Château is really beautiful and tastefully finished. Great location with beautiful views and surrounded by villages to visit. We were the first to rent and we can say that everything was planned for comfort and well thought out for the party (beautiful lights and sound system available). I totally recommend! Thank you and keep it up! :)
I can't fault Montlaur in any way. We wanted a holiday where we could experience the genuine article - real French country village life - and we did just that. And in luxurious surroundings to boot! It was perfect.
A very pleasant quiet house for a family stay. The children have enjoyed the very nice garden, the ball and racket games. The terrace is lovely for meals. The house is ideally designed for a quiet and serene indoor space. We enjoyed the excursions in the region and our tennis tournament.
The owners conjured up a wonderful place for a holiday, simple, cosy, quiet, relaxed, great location.
Thanks Kate and Franz for creating such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Enjoying tea and coffee on our last morning we were joined by 2 deer - a lovely last moment. We are going to miss the house, the swimming pool and the beautiful meadow. Our highlights are Montcuq market, spending time in Lauzerte and Montpazier, two very pretty places. We have had some great food, especially at Le Caillau. It has been a special summer for our children, who have both had to endure exams and so it is fantastic that we as a family have been able to spend time together in this wonderful place. So pleased to have met you both and of course the little Lotte. Love from us all.
Richard and Meryl are the greatest hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Love Poppy! The Tournesol gîte is home from home, comfortable, everything you would want is here. Location is stunning, great views. Loved our spot under the walnut tree. Highlights - Monflanquin, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Auvillar and Condom - Bourg de Visa was a fantastic central hub for visiting all these places. Thank you Meryl and Richard for a great holiday. Memories: The views from the house. The wind, like a freight train through the mountains! Wednesday night pizza van. Minerve – nice and quiet (La Terrasse for eats). The front shower – I want this in my house! The fridge/freezer – cold water and ice on tap – something else we'd want in our house. Lazy days by the pool with a pot of coffee and a book. Villa Lavinière has everything we needed, and more. What a lovely house. Definitely one we'd come back to and recommend to friends.
We had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful house in this lovely old historic town. The food was lovely, the beach 20 minutes away was nice and quiet and our children absolutely loved it there as well as enjoying the lovely and very warm pool! The house itself caters for all your needs. A perfect week away at a beautiful house in the perfect location for you to enjoy all the area has to offer.
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. Thank you for the most wonderful stay at the Piglet. From the warm welcome on the first day to our chats, drinks and little contacts throughout the week, you have been as much a highlight of our holiday as the wonderful home. And that is no mean feat... The Piglet Barn is immaculate throughout and has felt like our own home in this beautiful village. You and your friends around town have made us feel so welcome. We have honestly felt so privileged to have met you and we will absolutely be raving about you to friends and family when we get home.

This must be the perfect summer holiday Villa for a small family. As a couple we were joined by some friends for part of our stay and we had a great time in the sun. The O 13 Clochers restaurant in Monteton is under new management and serves superb food. Hostellerie des Ducs good quality- and the restaurant in Seyches is incredible value. We are sure to return.
Very good experience with this accommodation and the owners, excellent value for money. Very beautiful setting, a very responsive and accommodating host, I recommend!
Wow! Lucky Herman to own this place. Views, designer environments, beds to die in (obviously not literally). I felt like a Kardashian staying here. Thank you to Barbara for her help and the maintenance team who were very helpful.
What a beautiful place. We were really happy to have some rest there. Your house is wonderful and the swimming pool is perfect. We have spent a very enjoyable holiday. Even if it was late in the season, we had 2 weeks of good weather and could even go to the beach. Very beautiful beaches! A fantastic stay. We loved Pézenas and often visited the town. We highly recommend the villa. It is really gorgeous and the host is very welcoming. We hope to be back soon.

Where to start, we have had such a wonderful week we have loved everything about this house and grounds. It is the best house we have ever hired as a group and Mike and Natalie have gone out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Just to mention a few of the many things we loved about the house, the fantastic swimming pool, the incredible views, the activities provided, the comfortable beds, the beautiful seating areas in and out of the house, the breakfast area, the bathrooms... and of course Myrtle the cat who joined us every morning for breakfast. Best of all it was a fantastic place for Grace and Ken to get engaged to be married! Thank you so much for the opportunity to hire this beautiful home. (This was truly a magical place to get engaged, Grace x)
This is my second visit to the beautiful ‘Rusty Shears gite’ hosted by Kirstie and Russell. From the outset our stay was just perfect. We were made very welcome and even had welcome drinks upon arrival. This was a special visit for my mums birthday and Kirstie even baked a cake, which was absolutely delicious. The gite is immaculately presented and the interior is simply gorgeous, with sumptuous cushions, uniquely bespoke painted furniture and house plants that compliment the gite’s luxurious eclectic style. The outside space is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the nature that surrounds the outside space. They have thought of everything; an outside eating area, complete with overhead sails to stay in the shade, corner sofa area complete with parasol to stay in or out of the shade, a bbq area with small outside prep area, hot tub and even 4 sun loungers. The location is set in the countryside so expect to drive or cycle to the local vineyards and restaurants but rest assured Kirstie and Russell can recommend plenty of places of interest and even arrange cycle hire or restaurant bookings if preferred. All in all a really tranquil long weekend away that offered us plenty of tasty local food, vineyard visits, rest and relaxation in the sunshine. If you’re an animal lover then you’ll also appreciate Kirstie’s love of animals too and if you’re lucky you’ll get to taste a freshly laid egg from ’Cluckingham palace!’ A truly wonderful space and warm welcome that will encourage you to return. A gem of a holiday find - we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you Kirstie and Russell for your hospitality during our stay at Rusty Shears gite and for making great memories!

Thank you so so much for a wonderful stay we had a fantastic time and the house couldn't of been better suited to our needs it was great. And it was spotlessly clean. We managed to get out and about on lots of outings so we covered a huge area which is just what we wanted. Really good luck for the rest of the summer I hope things go well for you.
