Thank you so much for the most incredible week, we have made so many memories. Everything about the house has been perfect, such an easy space to relax in. Our girls have loved their week and have become real water babies! We return home to the Alps feeling recharged and look forward to another visit. Heavenly spot! Best wishes from all of us.

As I suspected when first shown around the Loft du Vigneron, we are going to find it hard to leave. The accommodation is truly first class, and you have been wonderful hosts. Thank you for all your suggestions of places to visit - we all have different highlights, but for Franklin it was the food market in Narbonne. All in all, a perfect holiday! We very much hope to see you (and Mack and Mabel) again.
Thanks Kate and Franz for creating such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Enjoying tea and coffee on our last morning we were joined by 2 deer - a lovely last moment. We are going to miss the house, the swimming pool and the beautiful meadow. Our highlights are Montcuq market, spending time in Lauzerte and Montpazier, two very pretty places. We have had some great food, especially at Le Caillau. It has been a special summer for our children, who have both had to endure exams and so it is fantastic that we as a family have been able to spend time together in this wonderful place. So pleased to have met you both and of course the little Lotte. Love from us all.
The incredible thing about this house is that you quickly feel at home there. We are like in a cocoon, magnificent, relaxing, invigorating. We spent 15 incredible days here, a vacation that we will remember for years to come. Amazing corners, an intoxicating sea, enriching discoveries and a group of friends who have become closer thanks to this experience. This villa is of incredible beauty and quality, the breathtaking setting between the view of the sea and the sunset over the Cévennes, the heated swimming pool available at any time of the day and night adds further excellence to the frame. We are here in peace although we have everything we need around, notably in Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Sigean... Spain is very close for an even greater change of scenery. We will return with great joy, thank you very warmly.
We had a lovely stay, thank you. The restored watermill was beautiful and very well equipped.
Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) had a fabulous time exploring Sarlat and the Dordogne from this terrific base. The house is perfectly located and the pool is a godsend after a full day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend this property only then it will be harder for us to book again.
We've had a fantastic holiday in this superb villa. We had great weather, food and wine! The villa is a really good base for visiting the Languedoc, Occitanie - we went to Carcassonne, Sète, Montpeyroux, Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert amongst other places and all within a short drive. The villa itself is really well equipped and has everything for a family holiday. 2 big supermarkets nearby and Pezanas is stocked full of restaurants and shops. The market on Saturday is amazing and well worth a visit. Thanks for a great holiday and we would thoroughly recommend the villa to others.
This flat was wonderful. Location is great, 5 minute drive from Beaulieu, 10 minute walk to train station. Coffee and snacks right at the edge of the property and a few restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet area. Right on the water. This flat had absolutely everything we could want to enjoy our stay. Kitchen is a nice size and has all amenities. The two bedrooms were great. Dining area and living room were spacious and comfortable and the balcony was large and nicely furnished. Washer and dryer were convenient to have. Communication with Ben and the owner was easy. The place also came with beach chairs. The only clarification I’d make is that the bathroom is one toilet, one shower and one sink.
Mission accomplished, we came for a week to rest in a family holiday and we are sad to leave. One week was not enough! Thank you for answering our few requests and we love your villa! The A/C is perfect, beds are great. All the games available and even managed to read 2 books! The ice machine, the 3 ovens... All wa perfect! Happy summer. All the best.
My family had amazing stay here. We have 2 young kids (aged 1 and 5) and the apartment was clean, secure, modern appliances (including washer/dryer), ocean view and beautiful infinity rooftop pool. The bedrooms were a good size, easy to use temperature controls air conditioning and black out shades. A crib and a high chair were available at the apartment. There is a large supermarket/everything store across the street and the apartment exits right on the beach boardwalk, so easy walk to the marina and beach restaurants. I hope we get to return soon.
We couldn't have had a more wonderful location to endure the heatwave! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Favourite Moment: The pool (of course)! Morning coffee in Verteillac and the live music last night. Places We Recommend: Brantôme, the church in Aubeterre.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, beside the river. Everything really comfortable and close to lots of things to do. We had a lovely day in Bordeaux visiting the fantastic cathedral and the great shops. Sadly, we are going home tomorrow but will remember our visit fondly.
A wonderful resting place We have rented this home for 17 years in a row. If that is not an endorsement I do not not know what is. It is charming and comfortable. The location is superb, close to towns and cities but in a quiet town itself. The pool is our haven after long travel days and the kitchen has all we desire for meals (usually simple ones given the fresh food that is readily available at local markets and the excellent Bistrot du Paradou located up the road - also highly recommended). Peter provides an excellent guide to everything that is around and it is very useful for the new arriviste in the neighborhood. Enjoy.
La Belle Vue is a beautiful holiday home. Nestled in a tiny hamlet the house has all the ingredients for a fantastic relaxing break. The garden is beautiful with views over the rolling hills to the distant Pyrenees. Lovely bedding, fluffy thick hotel towels and everything you need to enjoy the holiday. We hope to be back soon. We really enjoyed our trip to Las Tours. The views after the climb were well worth it. Probably preferred it to Carcassonne.
An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the nearby markets and small community which surrounds the château. Thank you Phil and Claire. Spacious rooms, historic building and thoughtful amenities.
Maison Des Vignobles is a property full of character features and a really high level of facilities with thoughtful finishing touches. Very spacious downstairs is complemented by a superb master bedroom with large en suite looking out over the neighbouring vineyard. Top quality plumbing next to period features is always good! Debbie was the perfect neighbour/owner, being super helpful and generous with a welcome pack and her local knowledge. The laundry room with local products for sale (including wine) was an unexpected bonus. The courtyard, pool and gardens are all lovely, though one tiny shame is that they are on the other side of the house from the big view across the vineyard - but many of the windows have that view so no reason to miss the sunsets and stars.
We all enjoyed the stay at the villa. We liked the location - both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pézenas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc) Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football! It was also nice to have a pool - although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa. We liked the fact that you contacted us personally - it offered us reassurance prior to our trip - thanks for your help. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit the villa again. Thank you again for opening your home to us this summer. We all really needed a vacation and the house was a superb way to relax and enjoy perfect weather. We all had a great time and fully enjoyed the house and the property. The overall layout of the house and inside the rooms is very thoughtful and was perfect for all of us. We had three families, 4 kids of different ages and a grandma. The different spaces allowed us to handle the different kid routines and moods in a way that gave everyone privacy. The kitchen is large and extremely well furnished. Makes it comfortable to cook for large groups. The pool is actually enormous. The way Patrick takes care of it seems to produce much better results than I have seen in other places: the water stayed clear all the way through. The pool house is an incredibly valuable area, especially because it is so well furnished, this is a serious luxury. The small supermarket in St-Antonin-du-Var is surprisingly good, if you are not a big cook you could totally live off this (they opened on Sunday am!). We also organised a Casino home delivery for the day before we arrived. We used P and Geraldine for 16 hours a week, to get the kitchen cleaned, make the beds, light housekeeping, remove rubbish, clean the BBQ and pool house areas and this made a huge positive difference.
We could not leave without saying what a privilege it was being the first family to rent your beautiful house. We have had the most fantastic time - the house is absolutely perfect. We felt we really experienced the area visiting Grimaud, Port Grimaud, Saint-Maxime and Gassin - all are well worth a visit. We even went wakeboarding (well Ian did) and can recommend Adventure Sports Saint-Tropez who do loads of water sports. We hope the next guests have as great a time as we did.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans votre charmante maison. Le seul bémol a effectivement été la météo qui nous a empêchés de profiter pleinement de vos extérieurs et de la piscine. Nous en garderons cependant un bon souvenir.
We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We all just loved it!
We were a group of 20 (5 families) and had a wonderful week! The rooms are very comfortable (aircon, great beds), the kitchen was perfect for a large group, the pool was large and clean (not even a bug in the water, thanks to the overflow system). Everything is nicely decorated and brand new. The location is just beautiful with wonderful sunsets. We had a lovely visit at the wine cellar of the domaine and did a wine tasting. We visited Saint-Tropez and the Pampelonne plage (1 hour drive), Cotignac (40 min), Île de Porquerolles by catamaran from Hyères (1h) and did canyoning in the Gorges du Verdon (2h drive). So plenty to do but you'll need to spend some time in the car. And last but not least : Thomas is a great host. He is always available and willing to help in every possible way.
A great week where 3 generations could spend time together relaxing around the comfortable farmhouse, great pool and expansive gardens. The house was very well equipped and being mostly fortunate with the weather, we ate outside on the terraces making full use of the BBQ provided. Monpazier is delightful and Villereal has a wonderfully colourful market. We thoroughly recommend this property as a holiday choice.
