The house is stunning. The vintage furniture and decor mixed with more modern touches made us feel immediately at home! We enjoyed the pool area very much as well! And the location was perfect as well. Being able to see the boats on the Canal du Midi from the living room makes the house even more cozy and amazing. We will definitely come back soon! Thank you.

Very pleasant typical house, each room has a shower/WC area which is a real plus, you feel very comfortable there, bright and friendly living room, very comfortable sofa, we didn't miss anything. The patio and pool area would require better maintenance to be at their best. The village is pretty, there is a bakery, for other amenities such as supermarket, gas station, only 5 minutes by car to Magalas. We recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful weekend in a beautiful location. The castle is extremely comfortable, very well restored with spacious rooms and tastefully decorated down to the smallest detail. The welcome is warm and everything is thought of for a perfect stay. We were 14 people.
From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.

Such a beautiful and luxurious home. a perfect layout, wonderful pol and relaxation area. We spent 10 days playing golf, as such it was perfect. The holiday home had eveything we needed and more and particularly liked the artwork. Thank you once again.

Very pleasant and restful stay for an extended family. My extended family and I stayed at Château Velouse for two weeks in August. It was a delightful time. The hosts are exceptional. We were treated to a warm welcome after arriving later than usual, after a long and tiring journey. All we needed for supper and the following day's breakfast was provided free and with no fuss. That set the tone for the rest of the stay. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful throughout our time there. Château Velouse easily absorbs a large number of people. High ceilings and wide hallways give a great sense of space. The rooms are large and comfortable. The ensuites are of a high standard and the grounds are magnificent. We all had a magical time. Our sincere thanks to Claire and Phil and Alex for all you did to make this post wedding get together a wonderful success.
The owner is also very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend La Maison Tolzac.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The private, secluded setting was just what we needed. We used th eoutdoor kitchen all the time, such a wonderful addition to the property. We will be back!

We swam in the pool every day - temperature 29°c - in January! We did indeed enjoy the 12 days with you, the house and the surroundings. Very invigorating for both of us and very enjoyable to meet you both.
As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.
Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. Boat rider, inflatables and picnics. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival... Yvonne has been a perfect host... great advice and support. Thank you so much.

Wonderful. We had a wonderful stay in a very nice and pleasant house. Everything is well thought out down to the smallest detail. Our hosts are lovely. I thank them very much for everything. We loved these magical moments. A little haven of peace.
We had a fabulous holiday, thank you ! What a lovely location; very peaceful but within easy access of a variety of places to visit - Nice, Saint Paul de Vence, Vence, Grasse and everything to offer along the French Riviera. The house is large and comfortable with space for families or groups of friends to spread out. There is ample outside space to enjoy - around the pool, behind the house to have shade and beside the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee. The view from the pool is stunning allowing one to see a huge distance along the coast - that will live long in our memory!
We absolutely loved being here. The home you’ve created is a beautiful entity, with such thought at every turn, and the surrounding gardens have a tremendous sense of peace. Thank you for all the well-planned details, and the delicious tart that awaited us (and therefore an introduction to the most incredible boulangerie!). We have throughly enjoyed our stay at Mas Saint-Martial. Thank you for being such warm and welcoming hosts. The house and grounds are beautiful and we've enjoyed using the pool, playing badminton, table tennis and boules. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool in such quiet and peaceful setting. Brantôme is a very pretty town on the river. Aubeterre-sur-Dronne also a beautiful place to visit with. remarkable underground monolithic church. Bergerac worth a visit for the Hal-timbered buildings. A fantastic stay thank you.

Where do we start! Arrived at the gite and drove through the private gated entrance to see beautiful grounds and a very inviting swimming pool. Jean and Martyn were waiting to show us around and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. The gite, grounds, outdoor kitchen and pool all immaculate and made for the perfect stay. The washing machine, dishwasher and many fridges are an added bonus. The bedrooms and bathroom a good size, fab open plan kitchen, diner and living room. Lots of extras in the kitchen which is great. Lauzun is a great little village with all the amenities you need, several other pretty villages near by (Issigeac and Eymet are lovely) Large hyper/supermarkets and various shops in Bergerac, 30mins away or a decent size Intermarche 10mins away. We would highly recommend the gite and will definitely be returning. Thank you Jean and Martyn for your letting us stay in your lovely property and not forgetting the very friendly, fluffy, German Shepherd Tanner. We had the best time, enjoyed sharing our many bottles of vino and our evening with you in Eymet.
