We found the villa straightaway and were very pleased with the quality of the accommodation. Jacky was a great guy who made us feel at home and at ease.
I spent a week at this villa in September with my young family. It was perfect. Villa: The property itself is beautiful. It enjoys a large plot and is nicely secluded. The property is very well maintained. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen etc. look as they have recently been refurbished. The pool area / gardens are stunning and very well secluded. There is a pool-house equipped with a brick barbecue, kitchen / dining area and shower / toilet. We spent most of our time in this area. Location: The drive from Nice airport is about 45 minutes - it's quite a straightforward journey, mostly on the motorway. I believe Marseille airport is a similar distance away. The property sits in a very nice, secluded area close to many vineyards. The town square (Vidauban) is about 5 minutes' drive from the property. There you will find everything you need from supermarkets through to restaurants and bars. St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are all under 1 hour away by car Overall, I would highly recommend this villa. I have stayed at other villas in France, which have felt quite dated. This property has been very well maintained and modernised, but still has that French charm about it. We will definitely be returning to this property

A fantastic week at the villa. We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking when travel restrictions were listed. We were slightly anxious about travelling in these times but always felt safe and welcomed be the locals. We're so pleased we did come! The villa is very well equipped and Frederic was so informative and helpful. The massive selling point for us was the gorgeous pool and gardens as well as the stunning setting and amazing views from every angle! We spent many nights eating cheese and drinking wine while watching the sun set and then gazing at the star-rider sky. This is definitely one of the most beautiful parts of France we've been too. We enjoyed the local morning's and night's markets in Duras, kayaking down the Dropt river and would recommend visiting local town/villages like Eymet, Villeréal and others mentioned in the guide. St Emilion is also a family favorite and is a must-visit! We now have a car full of wine! Thanks for an amazing week! We hope to be back soon.
We enjoyed a very special week in this outstanding house in the beautiful Burgundy Region. We would, of course, highly recommend it for wine enthusiasts (a topic about which we learned a lot!) but it also worked very well for us as a venue for an extended family get together. The experience was enhanced further by taking up the option of a 5 course catered dinner in the house one night which was absolutely first class.
What a fantastic house in such a lovely location! We had a really wonderful break and enjoyed visiting the local châteaux and villages. Jackie was so prompt in replying to messages. The house and pool provided everything we needed. We definitely would love to return sometime. Thank you so much.

Thank you, what an amazing holiday we’ve had in your wonderful house, from the swimming pool to the table tennis room and family boule tournaments, we’ve had great fun. We loved. We loved swimming in the river in Nyons and the massive markets. A lovely windy trip up to mount Ventoux with amazing views and cheering on the cyclists!. Vaison la romaine was a nice morning out with the Roman remains and finally a quick wine tasting (and purchase) at Domaine du Tave with Audrey finished it off nicely. Thanks again,

I can't recommend this home highly enough. the kids loved playing in the pool after a day of sight-seeing. We were relaxed from the first moment. You will be so happy you stayed here!
The villa was just as described and was perfect in every way. We chose the villa because everything was on one level and the pool and terrace area were located very close to the main house. We had the most wonderful time and the arrangement of the bedrooms meant we had plenty of space to relax in. The BBQ area was well used. The air conditioning was welcomed during the warm Mediterranean nights. It was also the first villa we have stayed in where we were able to walk to the local town in order to buy our daily croissants. The service we had from Pure France and Philippe was exceptional. We were a family of seven adults and spent a wonderful week at Challignac. Mark and Gary truly are superb hosts. The gite was beautifully presented and immaculately clean. Everything you could possibly need had been thoughtfully provided — including luxurious liquid shower soap, so no need to bring your own. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, with every utensil and appliance you might require. And if something wasn’t there, Mark and Gary were more than happy to provide it! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a generous selection of cheese, meats, bread, snacks, wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee — a perfect welcome that meant we didn’t have to rush out to the shops. The pool area was simply divine: a stunning heated pool surrounded by tons of outdoor seating and a brilliant outdoor kitchen. Everything was set up for relaxation and enjoyment. Although the weather gods weren't entirely on our side, we made the most of it by exploring local villages and larger towns. We enjoyed some fantastic meals at restaurants recommended by our hosts. All in all, everyone had a jolly good time, and we will most definitely return. A massive thank you to Mark and Gary!
Great house in a super location. So quiet and relaxing. Loved the coypu in the pond - a bit special! Visited lots of towns and villages with the Dordogne in easy striking distance. Had a great 2 weeks! Thanks!

We had a very good stay at La Ferme Éclaircie which met all our expectations. We were very grateful for the initial supplies ( tea, coffee, wine , orange juice, loo paper etc ) which make a huge difference. The information pack - which was really useful. The maps. And the house was delightfully furnished and well supplied. We loved the area.

What a fantastic week! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked, had everything we needed, particularly the outdoor area - BBQ every night! The staff could not be more helpful and we felt instantly welcome. We are going to book for next year when we get home!

The weather has been great so spent most of our time in the pool and on the sun loungers. We loved visiting the towns and villages nearby and particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries every morning! If you are looking for calm in a peaceful environment, Le Mas de Combet is for that! it is very well equipped, nothing missing! a huge and well maintained lot with this very friendly view of a small lake and the forest . the terrace with its large pergola is ideal for resting or having a drink . we enjoyed the large swimming pool with its summer kitchen. hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming . we recommend without hesitation.
Foreign and familiar. Grand and intimate. Giving us frivolity and solitude. Château La Roche-Posay had given us exactly what we needed. The host made our stay all the more enjoyable with the perfect amount of attention. Thank you for helping us to open our eyes to a beautiful part of France!
Thank you for a wonderful stay in oyur villa, Philippe. The perfect place for 70th birthday celebrations/family reunion. The pool is so well set up for relaxing, socialising and being able to keep an eye on the kids. After a week in the pool, our daughter was able to swim independently by the end! Thank you for your warm and friendly hosting: the welcome cheese, breakfast pastries, brilliant meal at La Tour de Montady, fabulous wine tasting at Saint-Chinian - it has all beenso memorable and made the trip that much better. Other highlights have been many bike rides through the vines, a trip to Chichoulet Beach, discovering the butcher and pâtissière in Cazouls-les-Béziers and enjoying the local produce by the pool every evening.

We can honestly say that Villa Baleyssagues is the best property that we have stayed in in France. The photographs on the website do not really do the house justice. It is located in a wonderful elevated position, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The house is equipped to a very high standard with an abundance of crockery and cutlery. There were so many lovely touches, with fresh flower arrangements in several rooms and the best welcome pack we have ever had in our seven years of visiting France. Thanks Frédéric for welcoming us to the Villa and looking after us during our stay. Can you pass on our thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their lovely home.
