Fabulous, family and friends holiday rental. 10 of us recently stayed here for a group break. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, they really made this a special place to stay. The house is beautifully furnished and comfy, the grounds are beautiful and there's lots to do in the area as well if you don't just want to lounge around by the pool soaking up some sunshine. Thoroughly recommended.
We have just arrived back from Maison Palatini and we all had a wonderful time. The villa is beautiful in such a quiet place and yet minutes from the town centre. The pool is wonderful. My Grand daughters were never out of it! I would also like to say that Andrew and Sharman were most helpful and such nice people. Thank you so much.
Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Wonderful stay in this lovely house. The sun shone, we all ate, drank and swam getting lots of R and R . Thank you for sharing this lovely home.
We had a lovely stay with 14 adults and 4 little ones (10 months - 3 years). For starters, the pool: big enough, seats for everyone and enough shadow. The patio: magnificent view, spacious, enough shadow under the big tree and a covered dining space with both a BBQ and a plancha where we had all our meals. The house: perfect to our needs. Bedrooms with space for beds for the kids, almost every room had a private bath room and more than enough space. We had two days with bad weather, no problem we split up in groups where one group could play one of the available board games and another one playing the available PS and another one playing together with the little ones. The kitchen had everything and there was an extra toilet for use during the day. On top of this, there was a nice pétanque range, ping pong table, pool table, basket ring with all supplies available, more than enough parking space (we had 7 cars).
Thank you very much indeed for renting your beautiful property to us for the past fortnight. My husband and I have been renting houses in France from time to time over the past thirty years. We are both agreed that Chez Pascale is the best and most generously equipped house that we have ever experienced. The setting, too, is delightful and so peaceful and quiet - a welcome change from our noisy city lives. We visited some of the local attractions which we enjoyed and agree that Sarlat, Domme and the surrounding villages and towns are justly famous for their scenic beauty and unique architecture as well as the local gastronomy. Our family members have now returned to their separate homes, but we will all retain some very happy memories of our holiday together in lovely Chez Pascale. Thank you, once more.
Beautiful French villa in the heart of Provence. Great Villa with an amazing panoramic view. I enjoyed the open space layout of the house, the ample kitchen fully equipped, the modern amenities and the overall functionality of the house. Outside on the large terrace we had many sunset dinners sipping rose wine. We also spent a lot of time in the pool. Central to beaches, shopping centres, restaurants, historic landmarks, airports etc. Prompt response from the owners for anything you needed. Overall great experience. Highly recommend it.
We've had an amazing time thanks. Visited as many places as the kids will tolerate and we somehow did the Renoir museum without breaking anything!! They’ve both absolutely loved the pool and their swimming has improved loads. Our youngest, Hal, has gone from tentatively swimming 5m to now confidently doing 20 lengths without stopping. We were so lucky to be able to stay in this beautiful house. So quiet in the garden, sipping drinks relaxing by the pool, yet the bustling town centre is only a few minutes walk away. The markets on Wednesday and Saturday are well worth a visit. Recommend Le Regent for food located in the old town. The house itself is charming, with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Even with the high temperatures outside, the house was lovely and cool inside. We had a fantastic time and hope to return again soon.
Our fourth year running and just as lovely as ever. A delightful house - elegantly yet comfortably furnished - tucked away in complete privacy and quiet, yet close to the lovely hilltop village of Gordes. A blissful spot in which to do nothing or lots - just as you will. We can't wait to go back.
We stayed in the beautiful Maison des Cordeliers in Sarlat in July 2024. What can we say - perfect property in the perfect location within a stunning town. The pool and outside area is just lovely, amazingly private yet only a five minute walk to the heart of the action. Very peaceful and well equipped. The owner Jackie is super helpful with quick replies to any queries and offering any additional assistance needed with regard to the area and recommendations. The villa itself is very thoughtfully equipped while maintaining an authentic French feeling. All in all we would definitely 100% recommend this villa if you were lucky enough to be visiting the beautiful town of Sarlat.
We have stayed in some lovely properties in France, but this has to be the very best. We appreciated everything you both so generously provided to make our stay so very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. We enjoyed our visits to Carcassonne, Narbonne and Minerve, and our boat trip on the Canal du Midi from Capestang and our trip to the Abbeye de Fontfroide. We had a superb meal in Restaurant d'Alibert in Caunes Minervois. Thank you so much for everything. We have had such a lovely fortnight and will miss this haven of beauty, peace and comfort for quite sometime. We hope to visit again - it sure is tough to leave here.

Exceptional domain, I highly recommend! The rooms are very comfortable, the bedding is impeccable and the hosts are very welcoming. If you are looking to discover the Dordogne, its caves, its castles, its culinary specialties (delicious!), or if you simply want to relax in a haven of peace then Le Manoir de la Compagnie is the perfect place.
Magnificent property, super equipped, very large swimming pool at a perfect temperature, exceptional grounds, tennis court in perfect condition, well-appointed and comfortable common areas... Hard to beat for a family vacation! The place is perfect for children and less young people... Very clean, comfortable, very pleasant, excellent communication with the owners. The best!

We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We appreciate how clean it was when we arrived (thanks Yvonne) and the wine. We love the decor and period furnishings. The pool and small barn were great. It was interesting to hear about the history and previous occupants of the house from Bob and Margaret, the English neighbours across the road. Thanks. Lovely holiday home. This was the first time we had stayed in this area of Perigord. The house was fantastic, very large for 4 people and had a really good swimming pool. The house is only 2 km from the river which is also lovely to swim in. There is also a lake nearby at Grolejac as well if you prefer that. The property is in a quiet but central location with numerous beautiful towns to visit nearby (e.g. Domme and Sarlat) and lots of activities to enjoy. We had a great 2 week holiday here!
Well kept gardens and lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone. Extras like the UK adapters were a nice touch. Pool made the children holiday. It was also very clean and perfect size and depth. Great hosts, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The house is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. The Aga was a joy to use. The bathroom was spotless. The fan in the bedroom was helpful. The garden (where we spent most of our time) is a wonderfully private space. The pool is a great size...the water was crystal clear all week.

In June, we stayed for a fortnight at La Picholine. In the middle of the vineyards. Plenty of peace, space and beautiful views. The pool is great and beautiful views there too.
Great house in a great location. Enjoyed by all ages 9 to 70 years. Something for everybody. Kids and adults wowed with the pool.
Château La Roche-Posay is a very special place. The gite is super comfy and well appointed, with fantastic views over the river Creuse. Definitely worthy of its five star rating. Laura and Ian are highly professional, experienced chateau hosts who know how to look after their guests.
The house is beautiful, like home from home, kitchen is fully equiped for all eventualities. We have slept wel in comfortable beds and enjoyed the beautiful garden. Thank you Sharon for recommending the local bar for food - we had a fantastic night there and few lazy afternoon drinks too! You have been more than helpful, it was lovely to meet you and your 'Lulu'. We have had a wonderful stay, thank you so much.
One of the greatest holidays of all time! We could not have had a better week in this magnificent chateau - so perfectly equipped for chill and fun with days by the pool and meals on the terrace. We never felt the need to leave other than the inevitable rosé top-ups - we ate and drank like kings and queens. Some very fond memories to last us until our next visit - we hope!
