Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. I love cooking, the kitchen is wonderful and the city's market place is perfect for organising the perfect dinner.. the perfect kitchen is ready to prepare the table... the outdoor patio... the splendid terrace with a view of the valley or a dip in the swimming pool whilst having a barbecue!
We have spend a wonderful holiday at the villa. The villa is ideal, spacious and nicely decorated. The children loved the pool and the table tennis table! It is an ideal base to visit the region. The market in Pézenas should not be missed. We have driven a boat, ridden horses and hired bikes in Marseillan and seen flamingoes! Dream holiday. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. We stayed as a whole family, 6 adults and 2 children, for 4 days. The house has everything you need to enjoy a few days in the south of France. The owners have always been very friendly and willing to help with whatever was needed. Thanks.
Exceptional. What an exceptional place. We highly recommend this fantastic rental as the perfect vacation spot to escape the stress of everyday life. It is in a perfect, unique and well placed setting for visitors to enjoy the delights of the Dordogne countryside.
The property is set in lovely grounds; away from it all yet close to the bastide towns of Monpazier and Villereal. We particularly enjoyed the pool area, which is well kept and maintained on a regular basis by one of the locals. The house is comfortable and equipped with everything you need.
We have really enjoyed our stay in the house, it's situated in a beautiful area of France and have enjoyed the pool and appreciated the AC in the house.
The house was very peaceful, well equipped and clean. Within easy reach of the main sights and attractions. We enjoyed mornings spent touring the local area and spent afternoons relaxing by the pool - de très bonnes vacances! An excellent holiday, beautiful house and surroundings - We will hopefully return.

Our family of 4 spend a perfect week in the lovely and nicely renovated gîte. House is spacious and well equipped. The outdoor area did not leave much to ask for with shady terrace, grill, a big green garden with a nicely furnished pavilion and not least the large and clean pool. Jean and Martin were there when needed, very helpful and made you feel at home. The small village Lauzun great for evening walks. This gîte can be recommended.

Perfect little getaway. So pleased that we came to stay at Maison Meunier. The cottage was perfect for our family holiday with plenty of space for the four of us but still with that cosy feel. It was lovely to be able to come home after our exploring and relax with the kids by the pool in the afternoon sun. The location was great and we had more than enough options for places to go. This property has the WOW factor! We were blown away by it when we arrived. It is beautifully renovated and the grounds and surrounding countryside are stunning. The main house is very spacious with a large living room, TV lounge room and a big kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you might need (including 2 great coffee machines and a pantry with essentials that you can use). Also, a lovely large dining table. Upstairs there are 4 big airy bedrooms with very comfy beds, great linen and towels. Plus 3 pristine luxe bathrooms. The views out of every side of the house are idyllic. The outside space too is fantastic. Great terraces for eating / relaxing on, beautiful warm clean swimming pool with comfy loungers, herb garden, fire pit, well equipped gym, pétanque court, vineyard, landscaped gardens. The gîte across from the main house is also lovely and provides 3 extra bedrooms plus additional bathroom, kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed our stay enormously and appreciated the level of detail and care that the owners have put into this house.
Fabulous views, kayaking, la grand ascent de Ventoux. Everything a very relaxing fortnight in Provence should be. Sadly the real world beckons. Thank you.

Stunning, really well maintained and clean. Feels very safe for our young family. Very well-thought-through facilities for an inter-generational group. Great use of pool, playroom, BBQ, dining areas. Delicious and varied menu enjoyed by all. Good interaction with hosts; always available (even with chocolates!). Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and hope to return.
The pool was amazing and the weather was nice. It was wonderful 5/5 would love to be staying longer. The pool was amazing. The beds are so nice.
We stayed in Jean and Martin’s beautiful Gite over the recent May Bank Holiday and we were absolutely delighted with our stay in every way we could possibly be! The Gite itself is immaculately appointed; it is beautifully in character and so generously equipped with all one needs for a seamless and relaxing stay. The kitchen boasts a washing machine and dishwasher - really useful for a longer stay . Great outside area with a bbq and an extra outside kitchen area, sink and 2nd fridge. The outside dining terrace is so comfortable and looks out on a beautifully maintained garden area with pool , sun chairs and gazebo - so comfy and relaxing. The bathroom is a very good size with both bath and shower. Upstairs are two generously sized bedrooms - one double and then a twin room.. Although my husband and I travelled with friends on this occasion, it was very apparent that the Gite is beautifully family friendly ; a cot and high chairs are also provided . The surrounding area is stunning - a few minutes walk to the local shops and cafes. Not far at all by car from many local beautiful areas and restaurants. Jean and Martin are perfect hosts - we honestly couldn’t ask for more and we will definitely be returning.
Thank you! We loved being in your magnificent house and pool! For ten days. You are the perfect hosts and we vastly appreciated the amazing furnishings of the house and all the equipment. You were very kind whenever we had a question. We had a very good dinner at La Licorne, and joyous visits to Azay le Rideau, Villandry and Chenonceaux - all so much better restored, managed and presented than 20 years ago. We will be back with you soon.

Le Presbytère genuinely exceeded our expectations in all areas. We primarily booked this property for the covered eating and relaxing area adjacent to a fabulous heated pool and the number of bedrooms. The history and setting of the property and it's views to the rear over beautiful countryside, were a real bonus and joy. The wildlife was of real interest to us all and the table tennis was played regularly by us all. Mark and Amanda were friendly and keen to help with any queries we had. Thank you again and in particular for providing the electric fans which were essential during such a hot period in July. We don't usually return to the same property on holiday but just might make an exception with Le Presbytère!
A week at the Mas de Pitou was blissful. The house was comfortable and included everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The view of the Alpilles, bright sunshine throughout the house and the fragrance of lavender and rosemary from the garden completed the picture. I will most definitely return to enjoy more exploring of the regions bounty in farmer's markets, Médiéval villages and stunning views.
