We have had another wonderful stay at Villa Gailinette. This is a place where you can feel at home and out of your day to day life at the same time! Thank you so much for all the comfort provided... nothing is missing, all you need is there including peace and beautiful weather.
We have just returned from a wonderful ten day stay at Château des Grillauds with our three children (aged 8, 7 and 5). The château and grounds are absolutely beautiful and perfect for a peaceful (except for the children) break. The children loved and lived in, the swimming pool all day and fell asleep each night watching movies in the upstairs lounge, while the adults enjoyed the elegant charm of the house and (a few bottles of) the local produce. I almost didn't write a review because I wanted to keep this gem of a house a secret, but we could not recommend it highly enough. Special thanks are due to next door neighbours who welcomed us and could not have been more helpful or better company during our stay; including taking us to Le Pizou for the local Tuesday evening fiesta (wrong word I'm sure). In summary, a magical ten days - can't wait to come back.
I just wanted to feed back what a lovely time we had in the villa a couple of weeks ago. The holiday was well worth waiting for and the villa delivered on all levels. We were certainly very grateful for the pool to cool off from the sweltering 40c heat and the lovely shaded areas surrounding the pool helped too. Most importantly, our mums had a lovely time. They were each able to have an ensuite bathroom which gave them their own space and privacy and thoroughly enjoyed the pool - even enjoying a splash about with an inflatable dolphin at one stage! (not bad for an 80 year old!) Please pass on our grateful thanks to the owners for allowing us the extra day for free and also allowing our early arrival which made things much easier on the Saturday. The Mums were already in the pool by the time we got back from the supermarket on the Saturday morning. A great success all round, excellent service from Pure France during all the covid changes and a wonderful villa too. Thank you
Echoing all previous comments. It was a pleasure to stay here and on behalf of the two English-born cricket enthusiasts, we enjoyed the cricket net, as well as all the other sports. You are obviously a man with fine tastes!
Thank you so much, we have had the most amazing week in your beautiful house. The pool, the terrace and the amazing views were a hit with everyone. Lots of wine was drunk and lazy days and evenings enjoyed here. It’s a pity we can’t stay longer.

We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. What a week at Château Richelieu, where we were fortunate enough to get married in front of 90 of our closest friends and family! To say it was an amazing experience and venue would almost be doing it a dis-service! It's hard to put down in words just how perfect our big day was at Château Richelieu. It would be very difficult to beat as a venue for a wedding and we would not have had our day anywhere else in the world. Our hosts could not have done any more for us. The support before, during and after the wedding has been above and beyond. Honestly, cannot recommend Château Richelieu highly enough and we will definitely be returning with friends / family for another visit.
We have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this beautiful house in divine location. The garden is filled with wildlife and we've enjoyed many an hour listening to the birds and watching the bumblebees and butterflies. My recommendation would be to sit back, relax and just take it all in.

Fantastic holiday - very many thanks. We come to France a lot and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. The weather has been very kind to us all! Restaurant recommendations all very good - we tried as many as we could. Particularly good were La Maison at Tourbes and L'Entre Pots. We need to come back again and try the rest. Many thanks again.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Le Mas Repenti! Such a beautiful and spacious villa, so elegantly decorated and well set up. The surrounding gardens are gorgeous with a lovely pool and stunning views. The villa was fantastic for children with swings in the garden and a playroom with lots of toys. We had a wonderful chef deliver delicious dinners for children and adults, which made a lovely stay even more relaxing. Alexandra also provided us with lots of wonderful information on the surrounding areas, including an amazing beach recommendation and a fantastic outdoor climbing place for the children. All in all it was the most fantastic stay and we cannot wait to return!

We had a wonderful holiday at Mas de Lozanne. Beautiful house, well looked after, close to the fabulous town of Pézenas and some brilliant weather (as well as an amazing unexpected thunderstorm!). Thank you so much.
We had a simply exceptional weekend. The castle is very comfortable with one bathroom per room, the renovation is extremely well thought out and the attention to detail is very appreciable. It's modern and functional. The heating works perfectly well. There is everything you need on site (well-stocked kitchen, stereo, video projector, etc.) The packed wine tasting event on weekends and the walks in the vineyards at the foot of the castle are great. The staff on site is perfect.
We very much enjoyed our stay at your beautiful villa, thank you. We had a hire car so were easily able to explore the gorgeous local Languedoc region. Close by we had a wonderful time at the Seigneurie de Peyrat enjoying the choir of cicadas during our 'PIQUE-NIQUE CHIC' experience which was interactive and fun! We also hired a chef one evening to cook for us at the villa, which was a great success and truly delicious. Wishing you a successful Summer 2022 season and hope to see you again soon.
Really enjoyed our week staying in your lovely home. Setting beautiful. Countryside we managed to see some lovely deer and especially enjoyed the humming birds -so tiny. We managed to explore the local markets and some towns. The children loved the pool. Many thanks for everything.
Private pool in perfect surroundings. Maison Meunier is a great little find. I stayed in the larger house last year so was excited to return to the area. Inside there are 2 good sized bedrooms, clean bathroom and kitchen with full facilities and a stylish and spacious living and dining area. And then there is the outside...! There is a beautiful pergola covered terrace with BBQ which is perfect for al fresco dining and evening chats over a bottle of wine (from the local vineyard of course). The pool has stunning views over fruit trees, the fishing lake and forest covered hills in the background. It feels very private and isn't overlooked. The pool is immaculate and perfect size for playing / floating / chilling. The pool area also has sun loungers and a covered portion for the shade seekers. The area of Saint Front-Sur-Lemance is beautiful. Very sleepy and laid back but has all the best necessary amenities within a 5 minute walk (shop, cafe, Albert's pub) or 10 - 15 minute drive (Blanquefort-sur-Briolance for moules frites at Auberge des Moulins or Fumel for bigger shops and 25m outdoor pool). The owners are great hosts; not intrusive but always nearby to provide advice or help if needed. We can't wait to return next year.
An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. It’s like staying with friends, with all the positives and none of the negatives! One of the things I think we will remember most about our trip are Karen and Russell. They gave our family the warmest of welcomes and ensured our stay was both comfortable and with a touch of luxury. Having never ventured to this part of France, it was fantastic to have the helpful suggestions for wineries not to be missed, activities for the kids, and the best places to eat. On the other side of the coin, we had our much-needed R&R. The oasis of peace and tranquility of the Loft, the gorgeous terrace for evening aperitifs, and alfresco dining, the extensive and beautiful gardens, and the sparkling azure gem of a pool! Thank you both for making our holiday so special. That cake : WOW! WOW! WOW! Despite all the fab patisserie, the kids still go on about that cake, Karen! Recipe, please!
Excellent, at all levels. We were 11 adults and 3 children and we had a wonderful stay. The location is ideal, isolated and quiet. The house is very well equipped (we particularly appreciated the presence of pool towels). The outdoor space and the equipment allowed us to fully enjoy real moments of relaxation. Sam is a very responsive host, ready to answer any questions. In summary, we highly recommend and thank Sam for his impeccable welcome!
