We were passing through for a weekend with friends. Christophe and his wife gave us a very warm welcome they are very attentive and attentive. We had a great stay in their house which is just beautiful.

Thank you! We have spent a glorious week at The Loft, which feels like a home away from home. You have been fabulous hosts, and your suggestions of places to visit and vineyards to try have been spot on. After ‘confinement’ in Paris for many months, the pool was a joy. We love the garden and it’s shady spots and enjoyed Mack and Mabel’s company. We can see why people return to this wonderful place, and we hope to be one of them very soon. Comfort and good taste reign in this house. Fields as far as the eye can see, the Dordogne just a stone's throw away. We feel good in this family home. Quality services. The owners have ensured our comfort and have provided us with good recommendations to enjoy the wonders of this region.
Great holiday. We had a wonderful holiday in Mouans Sartoux. The villa was exactly as described and well equipped. We loved the heated pool and watched many a glorious sunset from the terrace. The owner, was extremely approachable and helpful all the way and tiny niggles got sorted out very quickly with the help of Mireille, the lovely housekeeper. We will definitely come back.
I just wanted to say what a great time we had on our recent visit to Maison Des Communes, Philippe and Federica were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The house in a tranquil location was perfect for a very relaxing get away from it all.
We would like to thank Terry and Carol for allowing us to have a great family vacation. The house was perfect and faithful to the photos. The access to the secure pool allowed us to appreciate this place even more with our children.

A fantastic home on the border of the Dordogne and Bordeaux. The house and garden were amazing. It's a "home" rather than a rental and we loved this. It has everything you need and it has a lovely warm feeling to it. We had a lovely 4-week stay here. The house managers were fantastic and we were very sad to say goodbye and gave us loads of great tips on places to go. Lac Jemaye, the food festival in Le Pizou, local markets, canoeing near Montpon, local farm shop that sold milk straight from the dairy etc. The standout for us was wine tasting around Pomerol and Saint-Émilion - we ended up doing three wine tasting days! St Emillion really is one of the most beautiful villages you could ever hope to visit. It's ground zero for wine and it's steeped in history. We miss the château terribly. Hopefully one day we will return.
Our week at the villa was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived we were struck by the peacefulness of the surroundings. The villa itself is beautifully maintained. It was very windy during our stay and Philippe came each morning to clean the pool! We spent hours in the pool - it is just beautiful! Every day brought a new adventure – the wine tasting tour at Le Cave was really interesting (although we did end up spending a fortune! Philippe was just the perfect host – so lovely. The pastries delivered twice weekly were lovely and a huge thank you to Philippe for the birthday cakes for my husband's 60th on the Friday! The meal at La Tour was just amazing – so much so we decided to return for birthday celebrations. It has been the kind of stay that recharges you in every way. We are leaving relaxed, inspired and already planning our return! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a serene French escape paired with genuine and caring hospitality! Thank you so much Philippe – we are so so sad to be leaving but wonderful memories made!
Lovely location with beautiful views in a quiet and peaceful setting. Fantastic facilities, the house had everything you needed and more, super swimming pool, lovely and warm, well maintained and enjoyed by all the family. Alan and Madeline were on hand to assist at all times, we wish them every happiness in their new life in France.

When can we go again!? Wonderful place and great for 3 couples to stay at and relax for a few nights. In the heart of the village which had enough to do if you just want some peace and quiet.
We have had an amazing two weeks here in this lovely home. We have enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved kayaking and using a pedalo on the River Lot. We have made really good use of the pool and the secret garden. Thank you so much Alan and Madeline for all your kindness and consideration - and especially taking us on that lovely walk. We have very much enjoyed our morning coffees, lunches and dinners on the terrace. We have relaxed and read lots of books, which is just what we needed. It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We have so many great memories of our week. With very best wishes.
We had a lovely stay! The house was completely to our taste, with a magnificent garden and a superb view which allows you to completely disconnect. Everything is available. Tessa who welcomed us was charming. The Mas is even nicer than on the photos. Ideal for a stay with friends or family. We highly recommend.
We have enjoyed two wonderful week here with cloudless skies and beautiful evenings. Amongst our favourite outings were nearby Villedieu, a beautiful spot for a lunchtime stop at the cafe du centre or the exceptional bistro de Villedieu, we also visited Gigondas with its magical views and charming square, Vaison la romaine is a stunning town especially the old part. We also enjoyed wondering around Nyons following the route through the spectacular medieval arches, chapel and church.
Thank you once again for brilliant service – loved our stay in both properties – Château Siorac-en-Périgord and also Château des Dragons.
Wonderfully renovated French cottage in a slumbering small village. Beautiful green area. I loved the care that went into the house. Lovely spacious bedrooms, felt like a high end hotel stay. Highly recommended.
