Kids really enjoyed the grounds and plenty to keep them entertained even when the weather was not as nice. So much space to run around and explore. Great pool, very clean. Owners went above and beyond to help us, even offering to give us a lift when needed. Welcoming and friendly reception from Nick and Takayla - really helpful and on hand when needed.
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Merci beaucoup.
Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!
We are a family from 3 to 78 and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Château Périgord this week. We were fascinated by how beautifully it's renovated and decorated. All couples within our family had a nice room to stay in and the beds were good. The flowering garden, with fragrant lavender and refreshing swimming pool were a real joy. The kids played jeux de boules on the gravel, football on the perfectly trimmed lawn and spent many hours in the pool. We preferred cooking our own meals in the large Médiéval style kitchen (as we all like cooking) and had dinner at a long table at the courtyard. Château Périgord has so many places to sit and to enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful features and games to play that there was no need to do many trips elsewhere. We cycled in the area and did some jogging up the hills followed by cooling down in the pool. Thank you for a fantastic and relaxing stay!
We've had a fantastic relaxing week, Immaculate facilities, superb hosts. What a beautiful place. We enjoyed the pool and playing pétanque.
We can't wait to return. Russell and Karen are perfect hosts and the Loft is amazing. We can't imagine how your next project will look, we shall have to come back and see for ourselves. Languedoc, Occitanie is so beautiful and we have only scratched the surface. The Loft is the perfect place to stay and venture out from, returning to its calm and tranquil environment - just perfect. One week was certainly not enough and we both hope very much to return soon and we wish you all the best.

We all enjoyed the stay at the villa. We liked the location - both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pézenas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc) Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football! It was also nice to have a pool - although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa. We liked the fact that you contacted us personally - it offered us reassurance prior to our trip - thanks for your help. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit the villa again. We have had a splendid time here and greatly enjoyed the villa. It was very relaxing and comfortable place with incredible views over the vineyards and hill. We spent a lot of time by the pool but also explored the neighbouring sights - Roquebrun was great fun and we also liked Minerve and managed to get down to the coast at Cabaues-les-Fleury.

This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! What an amazing week we have spent in your villa! We visited to celebrate Shona’s 60th birthday and it was the absolute perfect spot. We have had an amazing week here: sunning by the pool, reading in the wicker chairs, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, BBQing in the outdoor kitchen and drinking wine just about everywhere!! The villa is very well equipped with every kitchen supply you’d need, ample fridge space, excellent Wi-Fi throughout, fabulous pool and spacious bedrooms. Philippe was a wonderful host – helpful and quick replies to any questions. We loved our two breakfast supply drops, especially the personalised loaves and ginger cake! Thank you for arranging a wonderful dinner at La Tour in Montady and a lovely wine tasting at Saint-Chinian. Also the weather updates were helpful. Our family dog Ivy also had a lovely week here with lots of space for her to run around. Think the cats mentioned in previous entries wisely were more distant during her stay!! Thank you again for everything and we are already thinking about coming back!

Had the most relaxing week just wished we'd booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Maison Baleyssagues is so peaceful and tranquil and somehow the walls resonate with the music within. Perfect, Thank you Frédéric.
We stayed in this amazing house for a couple of weeks - 4 couples, with kids left home! The place is really hard to describe because it is so much more than we expected. Also the photos don't quite do it justice (especially the outdoors pics). It is a huge house, with several levels. All the bedrooms bar one are on one upper floor. The other bedroom (that we stayed in) is accessible on the side of the building and has a lovely little terrace with a small table and chairs. Perfect for taking in the sun or simply relaxing. I did do a bit of work there. On the lower level is the huge kitchen, big dining area with a really cool table that makes entertaining fun and loads of interesting living areas each individual and stylishly decorated. All in all it is a big place where it is easy to spend time with friends and be sociable, or retreat to one of the cosy, quirky but fantastic living spaces for me-time. We weren't quite sure what we would do there for 2 weeks as it seemed a little remote, but it is SO relaxing and welcoming we spent the first week just staying put and enjoying it. The swimming pool is great and I did my lengths every morning. The area just beyond the pool is great in the evening for a drink (or many more). The bedrooms are really special. Big and very well appointed. Comfortable beds and interesting bathrooms (ours had a built-in bath). The owner Fred is super friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed by him and his partner and to our surprise the fridge was filled with local produce and there was also some wine and fresh bread left for us! Great surprise and even better after the long drive down! For shopping we went to the closest town and there were 2 large supermarkets there as well as the usual bakeries/butchers etc. The area is very beautiful. The mountains are stunning and we found some really lovely villages to explore. We had a great dinner one night in Sauve. Really cute village well worth exploring. We ate on a square high up overlooking the river below. I could go on and on. The place has so much charm and is so well appointed, we could have stayed for longer. We have amazing memories and special thanks to Fred for having created this small piece of paradise.

We enjoyed a wonderful 'Spring break at Villa Floriana! The villa has been perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and grounds which were perfect for our 4 year old to explore. Everything was as expected and did not disappoint. We spent days in Port Grimaud, Saint-Topez. We would recommend this place to family and friends. We plan to return!

We have had a faboulous stay. Everything has been perfect and we couldn’t have wished for anything better. We really love the area and hope to return to explore more. Thanks to Florence for being such a wonderful host.
This year we opted for a “green” vacation with 2 couples of friends and their children (in total 6 adults and 5 children) and were very happy with our rental. It’s never easy with the internet and what a great discovery on arrival: a huge, superbly renovated house. Great comfort in this beautiful stone building, in a very preserved natural setting. The rooms are magnificent and particularly large, the 2 mezzanine bedrooms were occupied by the children by adding an additional bed. The collective spaces are also very neat (comfort, decor) and pleasant to live in, special mention for the kitchen equipped with professional equipment, spacious and equipped with much more than is necessary. The pool is even bigger than it looks in photos. For the youngest children we closed it with the electric shutter, practical and efficient. The garden is ideal for a change of scenery and contemplation, the setting is absolutely beautiful. In the end we regretted having only rented for a week, the house is so pleasant that we wanted to stay there and relax but we will come back to continue discovering the Cévennes. In short, an excellent stay and a rental to recommend.

At La Picholine, we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
