We spent a beautiful 2 weeks here! We felt at home in this fabulous house. La Baie du Lac was a real favourite. We really hope to return.

What a lovely time we had! Our two week stay could not have been better. As others have said, the location is a perfect mix of rural quiet and peace, while being close enough to an excellent bakery and convenient shop. If you are lucky enough to holiday there, don’t miss the wonderful restaurants nearby. Debbie is the most amazing host, always there when you need her and very discreet. Her thoughtful and knowledgeable suggestions added immeasurably to our enjoyment.
We really enjoyed our stay at Manoir Bellevigne. It is a lovely property.
A great family gîte with loads of space for us all. We had some great walks around here, the gorge, Orpierre and Rosans. Also managed to fit in time lazing around the pool, sunbathing and reading. Perfect holiday! Hope to be back...
I loved this holiday. I love sport so I sent most of my days in the gorgeous pool, I would practice my swimming and then float around and look at the blue sky. I loved the tennis court and spend hours practicing my forehand. The château is so pretty, it could have been made up. Any kid would love this place.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. We were lucky enough to see the (almost) full moon rising from the perfect spot in the garden on our first night. We loved the house and pool and most of all the beautiful views. To be in a village and yet so quiet is unique. We very much hope to come back.

The villa is beautiful and we loved the area - although was a little warmer than I had anticipated we were so thankful for the air conditioning! Linda was fabulous and super helpful so please pass on my thanks to her as well. Thank you again and hopefully we can visit again later this year!

We have enjoyed two wonderful week here with cloudless skies and beautiful evenings. Amongst our favourite outings were nearby Villedieu, a beautiful spot for a lunchtime stop at the cafe du centre or the exceptional bistro de Villedieu, we also visited Gigondas with its magical views and charming square, Vaison la romaine is a stunning town especially the old part. We also enjoyed wondering around Nyons following the route through the spectacular medieval arches, chapel and church.

We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.
Three night weekend stay with friends. Very comfortable accommodation decorated to a high standard. Upstairs kitchen, lounge and patio looked over the pool. Brilliant. It was Bastille weekend and World Cup final. Lots going on in village square, bars and restaurants. Beach about 20 minutes drive - really nice with excellent restaurant. Shops and supermarket close by were very helpful. Visited Béziers and Narbonne about 30 minutes drive. Well worth the trip We had a great time and will definitely go back again!
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the friendly owners. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature and the pool area was superbly secluded. The well kept gardens boasted pétanque, badminton and croquet, with numerous named specimen trees, which offered sought after shady spots and always a place to see those sought after sunsets. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, local shops in villages are a short drive away with larger towns containing hyper markets around 20 minutes drive away. All in all a great house, pool and garden well located for the local sights and scenery of the Dordogne.
We adored our stay at this charming renovated farmhouse, with views to keep in our memory forever. This house truly suited our family with our two sons, partners and grandchildren. The kitchen was excellent and overall the house had every facility we would look for, the pool and table tennis rooms were regularly in the daily family tournaments, that took place. Sitting outside at the covered dining table for breakfast and evening meals was a great pleasure daily. The swimming pool has sun for the majority of the day so keeps a good temperature for swimming and the steps enabled our grandson to build his water confidence. The Thursday market in Nyons is excellent and Vaison le romaine is full of history. Les Marquises is one of our favourite holiday experiences, great location and great house.
The garden was amazing! I loved waking up to hear the birds tweeting and the cockerel crowing. Merci.
We have just spent an amazing fortnight at Maison Labarde in Lauzun hosted by Jean and Martyn. The gite is really well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and is cool inside, even in hot weather. Jean kindly provided many complementary extras for our arrival which was very much appreciated. A great outside kitchen with gas BBQ and additional fridge was perfect for outdoor dining and drinking! The pool was immaculate and cleaned daily by Martyn and there were various floats, water toys and inflatables available; the water temperature was just right- in fact it didn’t drop below 28 degrees for the whole fortnight. We enjoyed the extensive garden using the various seating areas available, all with parasols/ gazebo for shade if needed. It’s a lovely part of France with lots of Bastide towns to visit with markets, fetes and musical events in the summer months, as well as vineyards and châteaux for wine tastings at every turn!! Jean and Martyn were excellent hosts, friendly and informative about local events and places to visit. We have no hesitation in recommending this holiday gite and hope that we can return at some point in the future! Merci beaucoup!!

Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!
The sun shone and we all had a fabulous time in this gorgeous and comfortable house. Lots of amazing food (with thanks to Steph), delicious wines of all colours (with thanks to Ampelidae), great company and a lot of laughs. Thank you!
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fantastic home! After a warm welcome we managed to settle down to enjoy all the facilities and the actual location of this beautiful area. I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
We had a wonderful time in the lovely property in Gonfaron. We ranged in size from 3 for one week to a full house for the other 3 weeks. The porch with the big table and sofa area was fantastic. Big dinners at night and coffee on the sofas in the morning. All my guests loved it. Everyone loved the pool and pool house.
Beautiful scenery, wonderful rooms and an awesome car show to boot! All excellent things to go with the wonderful community of kind and friendly people.
