Terrific house with fabulous views, close to town. Our family of five had a perfect holiday. The house is spacious, filled with light and very well appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces a lot, including the pool, the large terrace with stunning views and summer kitchen. It was easy to get to grocery stores and activities in the region. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to the village and explore the area. We all enjoyed walking or jogging on the path by the canal, accessible from the garden. We highly recommend this property!
Great stay in Porticcio the children loved to do it again I highly recommend this establishment.
We have just had the most relaxing break in the best 5 star gîte. On arrival we were met by the owners Mark and Gary who were lovely providing a welcome package and drinks fridge which was a lovely touch The gîte itself is beautifully decorated and truly deserves its 5 star rating The pool and terrace area has everything you need with seating and dining area and a summer kitchen with barbecue and plancha It’s a peaceful and tranquil place to stay and we will definitely return

Came for 2 weeks, had a warm welcome from our hosts. We explored the area and further afield, went on lovely walks, found some lovely villages, Sarlat-la-Caneda and Bergerac with their lovely markets. I spent a week at this villa in September with my young family. It was perfect. Villa: The property itself is beautiful. It enjoys a large plot and is nicely secluded. The property is very well maintained. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen etc. look as they have recently been refurbished. The pool area / gardens are stunning and very well secluded. There is a pool-house equipped with a brick barbecue, kitchen / dining area and shower / toilet. We spent most of our time in this area. Location: The drive from Nice airport is about 45 minutes - it's quite a straightforward journey, mostly on the motorway. I believe Marseille airport is a similar distance away. The property sits in a very nice, secluded area close to many vineyards. The town square (Vidauban) is about 5 minutes' drive from the property. There you will find everything you need from supermarkets through to restaurants and bars. St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are all under 1 hour away by car Overall, I would highly recommend this villa. I have stayed at other villas in France, which have felt quite dated. This property has been very well maintained and modernised, but still has that French charm about it. We will definitely be returning to this property
It's been an absolute cracker. The house is a joy and the pool has been the centre of our stay. We've loved exploring the local area, particularly the beach side lunch in Cannes and wild afternoon at the inflatable waterpark at the lake.
The entire property was amazing! We found all we needed for the perfect stay. The gardens, full of magnificent roses, and vast yard with many varieties of trees, was a pleasant respite, along with a beautiful pool as a center piece. The furnishings complemented the large house, reminiscing of it’s history, while offering multiple places for a cozy read or gathering for large groups. A culinary delight with gas stove top, plancha, and charcoal grill. The location had easy access in all directions to explore all the amazing sites in the region. A short trip away were small artisan shops and a larger supermarket. We worked our way through the carefully curated basket of books and brochures on the region. Elisabeth and Philippe were gracious hosts making sure we had all we needed, answering any questions, and that we enjoyed our visit.

Everything was perfect: immaculate accommodation, spotlessly clean, a peaceful setting and a warm atmosphere that reflects your kindness and generosity. Your thoughtfulness, your availability and all your little touches helped make this holiday truly unforgettable. And how could we not spare a special thought for Stanley, your adorable companion, who also added so much charm to our stay! We leave with wonderful memories and hearts full of gratitude. We had a lovely stay at Pinaux. The house conversion is beautiful and comfortable for days we didn’t go out. Everything went smoothly with the keys and check in. Henk and Renee were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for providing some basics, including coffee, milk and sugar.
Beautiful and secluded. Beautiful, modern, spacious house with massive terrace/patio and nice pool. Perfect to chill out or use as a base to explore the Côte d'Azur!
We thought this was the perfect setting for our extended family holiday. We had long lazy days by the pool, some nice days out to the bastide towns and alfresco dinners followed by games We rescued several frogs from the pool! There were plenty of distractions in the house for every age and we found the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Fabulous weather for two birthday celebrations and we found it to be a very peaceful and idyllic setting. Amazing house! We all made amazing memories and had a great time.
Most beautiful spot in the South of France! The house was sensational. The vista is beyond. The kitchen motivated us to cook and eat on the patio every night. Proximity to all the area has to offer and the patisserie and vegetable market and town are all right at the foot of the hill. Ours hosts organised all we needed too - language tutoring for our daughter and extra housekeeping. 6 stars !
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. We had a lovely stay at Claire’s beautiful place. It was very comfortable and you can see that someone has taken great care in decorating the place and choosing the best things. Would highly recommend.
Excellent home and facilities. Everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. Catering: deicious - it was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. Friendly and approachable service. The chalet is ideally located and close to all amenities and activities. We loved the warm welcome, the good advice on the Valley and the places not to be missed. The chalet is a haven of peace, perfectly equipped and intelligently arranged to spend relaxing moments with the family. From young to old, we sincerely enjoyed ourselves and everyone found their happiness. We also appreciated the attention that was given to us on our arrival and with which we feasted. We will be back!

Beautiful villa in a stunning location. Inside there are large spacious rooms, which are all furnished to a high standard. The property was lovely and clean and well maintained. My husband and I stayed with my daughter and boyfriend, we had the lovely bedroom on the first floor which had a verandah with the most stunning view. I found it difficult to drag myself away from here each morning whilst enjoying my breakfast overlooking the village and church. My daughter had the double on the ground floor which was just as lovely with double doors opening out onto patio area. The villa was large enough for us all to have our own space and privacy. Outside the pool area was stunning, more glorious views. Plenty of sun beds for everyone, a very well equipped area and great pool! I also found it difficult to drag myself away from here, but glad I did as the area is so beautiful. A must is the Gorge du Verdon, the many hill top villages and a visit to the fabulous beaches. After a days sightseeing it was great to come back for a swim before going out to dinner. We did'nt travel far in the evenings as we really enjoyed the hotel in the village. The food was excellent, well presented and good service. Italian was also good. We also enjoyed shopping locally for produce, cooking for ourselves and then relaxing in the garden, followed by a game of boules, what could be better especially after a few glasses of wine! I would recommend a stay here and am looking forward to our return.
We could not leave without saying what a privilege it was being the first family to rent your beautiful house. We have had the most fantastic time - the house is absolutely perfect. We felt we really experienced the area visiting Grimaud, Port Grimaud, Saint-Maxime and Gassin - all are well worth a visit. We even went wakeboarding (well Ian did) and can recommend Adventure Sports Saint-Tropez who do loads of water sports. We hope the next guests have as great a time as we did.
Magnificent property, super equipped, very large swimming pool at a perfect temperature, exceptional grounds, tennis court in perfect condition, well-appointed and comfortable common areas... Hard to beat for a family vacation! The place is perfect for children and less young people... Very clean, comfortable, very pleasant, excellent communication with the owners. The best!
We loved the house! Very equipped, very well decorated, the exterior is incredible with a space by the pool very pleasant. And the area is beautiful.
