A very enjoyable stay at La Roujal, a lovely, well appointed house with so many interesting places to visit within easy reach. Sarlat was impressive and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie was beautiful, as were the many other old medieval towns nearby. We enjoyed the local market and thought Prayssac (Friday's) was the best. Doug and Nic have been very helpful throughout our say and we are grateful for recommendations and guidance. Thank you.
We spent a relaxing week at Maison Rohmer near Gordes. It was down a very private road and not overlooked by other properties. Very tastefully furnished with everything we needed and more! Just lacking an upstairs toilet in the master ensuite. Gorgeous big pool and we managed to swim in it despite it still staying chilly even in hot July. Lovely area a short drive to beautiful Gordes and other towns and markets. Definitely recommend a stay at this lovely home.
What an amazing week! The whole family had a superb time - we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful home, with everything we needed there! Our family - from the age of 6 to 71 enjoyed all the facilities - the pools, hot tub, table football, darts and of course, table tennis. Thank you so much for your hospitality and use of your “home”. We will be back - but before then I hope you will visit us in Prague.
We had a wonderful time at your beautiful domain. We explored the region extensively, but would love to come back again to enjoy more of the peace and quiet here on your property. Fabulous house on the edge of the village with magical views and absolute peace and privacy. We were thrilled to see so much wildlife, so many wonderful birds, butterflies, red squirrel and deer around the house. We flew into Limoges which is a tiny and very easy airport to manage. Car hire is just outside the exit, the roads are blissfully empty and the drive to Lusignac was a pleasure. We couldn't have had a better week.
Beautiful surroundings. The accommodation met our expectations. A very warm welcome. Jayne and Wendy are very kind and friendly. They gave us a good introduction to the house and provided us with all the practical information we needed for our stay. A very successful vacation.
Excellent stay in a real castle. We loved our stay at this château! We stayed with extended family and loved the options for the kids inside and out. The owner was very friendly and greeted us personally on the first day. There was a zip line that the kids adored as well as a number of other indoor and outdoor activities. I highly recommend this experience to other families.
Very nice place for a stay with friends or family, beautiful interior and exterior spaces, with a magnificent view. In addition, it is possible to take beautiful walks starting from the property. Thanks to Sandie for her welcome and responsiveness. We hope to be able to take full advantage of it next time.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Thank you Corelle and Stephen for a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. We loved the peace and quiet, cycling around the quiet lanes and watching the kingfishers flying in and out of their nests at the lake. We found it all so relaxing and tranquil and would love to return again. Thank you also for the welcome treats and the lovely chats with you both. Colombat Cottage is a very special place.
Very nice stay at the Palaisienne. The house is well equipped, pretty, clean and above all very suitable for children, so nothing but happiness for parents. The owner is very kind and available for all our questions. We only have to thank you for this wonderful vacation.
First time in this region of France! It's a great location to explore the area from. There is so much more to see that we will need future trips here! The house is amazing, all of our needs were catered for as everything we requested was in the house. The information book was really useful. Loved the outdoors and pool - it looked especially pretty at night when the lights and candles were lit. The wine on arrival was a nice surprise.

My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.
Beautiful property with the most magnificent view. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Everything was there that you could possibly need. Pool was perfect. Lovely walk to next village cross country to a little restaurant is well worth doing. Takes about 45 minutes. Truly beautiful scenery around the house like being in a Van Gogh painting! We would definitely go back.
The family and I had a lovely stay at your house, Les Rocans. Your house, Les Rocans, has obviously been the subject of careful and loving restoration in many parts and it was lovely to stay there. The location is stunning, one could not tire of the views from the hillside. During our stay the weather was blistering hot sun and maximum temperatures around 36-38 degrees C. However, the breeze coming up the hill tempered the heat to make it quite tolerable. The trees you have carefully left near the swimming pool gave really good shade; it was my favourite lounging place. The swimming pool was so enjoyable, especially in the heat. Water temperature was the same as the heated pool in our local Virgin Active gym complex, occasionally higher, so our 4 year old grandson spent large amounts of time in the pool. Again, a lot of thought has clearly been given to the siting of the pool. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding countryside. Our regret is we didn't get out as much as anticipated as the heat was a little too much away from Les Rocans. The few trips we did make showed how picturesque that part of France remains, especially around Sablet / Seguret / Vaison. Definitely we shall explore more next time, perhaps at a quieter time of year. Kevin, thank you for providing a place which gave us all much enjoyment for our weeks stay. The whole family wished they could have stayed longer. We did our best to cherish your house as you so obviously do.
We are truly sad to be leaving this incredible house, beautiful landscape and extraordinary people. We have felt truly ‘at home’ here and have so enjoyed being ‘en famille’ in such a wonderful house. You have both been so welcoming and we go home feeling we have made good friends. We’re now even more determined to find our own ‘patch’ of this wonderful region to call home. A Bientot’. We have returned from 2 perfect weeks holiday at La Cigalière in Servian. Really lovely house, perfect pool, would go back in a flash.

We are sad to leave this lovely château after such a great holiday. The heatwave was unexpected but the pool kept us cool. Melissa and Charlotte were lovely and have kept the château very clean and tidy. The château was very well equipped and we were all very relaxed here. I loved walking into the village to the boulangerie each morning to buy breakfast and have a coffee on the way back! Najac is beautiful and we hope to return. Had a great holiday. Thank you x
I'd like to thank you for the fantastic stay we had in your amazing cottage Maison Bourg Calès. It was simply beautiful and my family and I absolutely loved every second of our stay. The weather was brilliant and there aren't enough words to describe how stunning your cottage is. We would definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to any friends. The most perfect location for a peaceful and restorative family holiday! Children and adults alike kept entertained by the games room, toys, amazing pool ... we so appreciated how well-equipped and thoughtfully designed the house is - it became a running joke of "is there anything this house doesn't have?!"
