Stayed for over a week. Stunning view from the terrace. Perfectly sized pool. Good rooms with air conditioning.
Unfortunately we could not meet Eva but we were welcomed by Harold who is a very nice person. The house is very pretty and very pleasant. The rooms and the living room are very spacious. The terrace area with its plancha, the pool with its small beach and the deckchairs to relax are very appreciable.
Thanks again, we really enjoyed our time in your Pézenas house - great layout and position.
We have had a lovely week here. Great house, lovely garden and pool. The weather was perfect and the sightseeing has been great. Biking too! We hope to see you again someday.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. Boat rider, inflatables and picnics. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival... Yvonne has been a perfect host... great advice and support. Thank you so much.

The house is beyond what we had imagined with the photos. It is spacious, very spacious, more than ideal for the group of 7 with 2 children that we were. The renovation is perfect, of exemplary cleanliness and with a very good taste decoration. The pool and its terrace are just beautiful and offered us very pleasant afternoons and evenings. The little plus, is that you can easily close the doors going to the pool for the safety of the little ones and the tranquility of parents. A dining area on another terrace with barbecue and large table also seduced us. The location of the house is also perfect, along the canal with the small typical village with many very nice restaurants. We really enjoyed the Escale and the glacier adjoining the restaurant... In short, a great place that we recommend 200%, not to mention the kind and availability of the owners.
Your house has been such a beautiful place to spend a week of our holiday. We've loved every minute - so much so that we didn't go far from Le Chambarru. The attention to detail was fantastic - from the decor to the 'welcome basket' to our name on the gate. The only thing missing was that we only stayed for 7 nights. We have just returned from our holiday at your property which we all thoroughly enjoyed. I wanted to write to give feedback on our stay as I understand we were the first guests at the property. It was was the exact property we were looking for, in a quiet rural setting with the farm next door and the property itself offered everything we needed. The pool area was particularly well configured, safe for children and practical. It was so relaxing and particularly for my brother who enjoyed three days with us during the break of his six month tour in Afghanistan. It was so perfect we are very tempted to book it again for next year. Please pass our thanks on to all the owners for arranging the child facilities and to Gary and Louise who kept the pool immaculately.
We were a group of nine friends and spent 4 nights at this gorgeous house. I don't know where to start, everything was just perfect: The pool, the view, the furnishing, the comfy beds... it's heaven on earth. Sandie and her husband are very lovely people and amazing hosts. I recommend booking the catering option - the food is great and the chocolate fudge cake is to die for. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful week. The house is arranged and decorated with care, where it feels good. And what a view, what tranquility... What a wonderful stay we have had at this glorious villa. We could not stay out of the pool as we were so lucky with the weather. The pool inflatables were fantastic, children and adults enjoyed lazing around in the pool for hours on end! We had some great nights in Sarlat at 'Le Pub' watching the street performers. The villa is very well equipped and laid out allowing for us to have our own space as well as a social space. We hope to return next year.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, beside the river. Everything really comfortable and close to lots of things to do. We had a lovely day in Bordeaux visiting the fantastic cathedral and the great shops. Sadly, we are going home tomorrow but will remember our visit fondly.
We have had a a relaxing week in this lovely gite. Madeline and Alan are great hosts. Respect your space but on hand for advice, local knowledge and a chat. We enjoyed kayaking on the Lot, exploring the local area on our bikes and enjoyed using the lovely pool each day (our son's favourite part!). We loved our visit to the Latour-Marliac for a great lunch and a lovely walk around the gardens and amazing water lilies. On our last night we had a great meal in the fish restaurant 'Blue Marine', Villeneuve-sur-Lot. We also had a nice meal in the week at 'La Commonderie' at Temple-sur-Lot. A great holiday. Thank you. Hope to visit again.

Le Petit Palais is a beautiful place to stay, in a very peaceful area. It had everything we needed and was perfect for a relaxing family holiday.
Both (the house and grounds) are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for parents and children alike. Despite a lot of activities in and around the area, we chose to stay 'in' more than we had expected because of how good the house and grounds were. A stunning location which surpassed our expectations. Both this and the hosts made this into a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. THE BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY WE'VE HAD - Thank you for everything! X
We had a truly relaxing stay at this lovely property. Immaculate and well equipped- perfectly combining a traditional French property with a modern interior. Most of our time spent chilling by the pool and enjoying the rural surroundings. Christophe was an excellent host always respecting our privacy but helping us out with things such as a wine tasting and setting up the BBQ. The local town Monsegur worth a visit for meals and drinks out - would recommend that you need a car to get around. There was only 4 of us but lots of space to accommodate a larger group - the outside covered space by the pool giving shade from the sunshine if needed. Wished we could have stayed for longer.
