Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.
We LOVED our stay at Mas du Château. It is in such a beautiful, peaceful spot and the gite itself is great. Christophe has renovated it perfectly, with everything you could want - a real home from home- and he has thought of every last detail to make his guests comfortable. The pool area is fantastic, with a lovely shaded area to cook/eat outside. We were travelling with a young baby and there was everything we needed in the house for her too, which was brilliant! Christophe was on hand to help during our stay and was so friendly. We would definitely love to go back again. Thank you for such a great stay!
Has the Wow factor. Everything you needed and more. A dream gateway. The kids especially were never bored. A wonderful, relaxing stay. We will hopefully return.
Simply a wonderful holiday, house and village We're just back from spending a week in this fabulous house in a great little village. The house had everything to make our stay totally comfortable with loads of space for our party of two couples and could have accommodated two or three more people easily. The pool and pool area were great with plenty of loungers and seating with a nice shaded area for refuge from the sun at the hight of the afternoon but best of all there is a great terrace where we spent the warm evenings with a glass or three of our favourite tipple. We were able to join in the fun and celebrations in the local bars as France progressed in the World Cup, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The village itself has all we would want bakeries, a couple of bars and restaurants with pretty good food and all just 1 to 2 minutes walk from the house, there is even a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away. All in all we had a great holiday and can't wait to go back next year, 5 stars from us.

Many thanks for the gift of your time accompanying us to the winery Les Jamelles and the beautiful gift of wine as well. We all enjoyed the beautiful decorations inside the château - unique wall-papers and luxurious sheets, etc. Being surrounded by the vineyards and gardens and beautiful swimming pool added to the rich ambience.

We were looking for a relaxed holiday and certainly found it at your beautiful house. We have not travelled too far but enjoyed visits to Nîmes and several to the pretty town of Uzes returning late afternoon to relax on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful views. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to revisit in the future. We appreciated the quality and care taken to equip and renovate the house.
We stayed at Villa Gecko in Collioure from June 13th to 20th of this year. We were delighted with the experience and wanted to share that. The owner gave us a very warm welcome. The villa is magnificent—ideally located, very comfortable, and extremely well-equipped (pool, Jacuzzi, air conditioning, etc.). The kitchen's layout and equipment even gave us some ideas for our own home. In short, it was a wonderful experience; I would recommend it to anyone wishing to discover this beautiful region. Three generations of our family enjoyed our stay in Helen's lovely, spacious, well equipped house with its beautiful garden, pool, boules court, summer kitchen and vue du château! Plenty of space, outside and in, as the heat allowed. The cooler basement provided table tennis, gym equipment and jigsaws, all completed during the extreme heat! Location was great for canyoning (Héric), kyaking (Orb), river swimming (Reals), karting (nr. Laurens), scuba diving (Montpellier), painting classes (Pouzolles) etc. Great local restaurants and bars (Roujan, Gabian) and small domaine wines to discover. The large Super U in Roujan has an excellent adjoining boulangerie/patisserie, open Sunday mornings too. Nothing lacking for a brilliant holiday!

We really like the idea of returning to Les Jumelles. We loved it and have such fond memories of our time there. Our children really loved the pool and the beautiful garden, with space for all the activities including table tennis, badminton, and football.
The property was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would recommend staying there to anyone. I will definitely be back to stay there again.

We have had a wonderful two weeks here, enjoying all the area has to offer and the house including the swimming pool, pool and table tennis tables A huge thank you to Sam for cooking us an amazing meal in, one evening, fantastic food and value for money. We loved the house and enjoyed watching the Vultures in the hills, sampling local wines and olives, cafe du centre in Villedieu, Vaison la romaine and Seguret were all great. Thank you.

It is true what the other reviews have mentioned - the photos do not do it justice - the accommodation is huge and the living area is simply gorgeous. The location is perfect, completely silent and peaceful, yet not too far from the boulangerie, activities and local towns. Debbie and Rupert were so welcoming, we immediately felt at home. There was no problem too small and Debbie helped us to book local activities and dinners out. It was the break we had needed for so long, thank you so much.
We had a lovely time in this fantastic location. The villa is perfectly located. Our 3 favourite restaurants: 1, La Belle Etoile - La Roque de Gageac 2, Hôtel Dieu 3, La Romane Thank you Jackie and Geoff. A lovely home with character and a real French charm.
We all had a wonderful holiday and the accommodation suited us so well, we were very lucky with the weather and the pool was perfect, such a great place to relax. We enjoyed eating outside looking at the wonderful views to the Mediterranean.
An amazing week of relaxation. Spent a fantastic week at Château Velouse. Located in a tiny village the château is just a short drive from lots of interesting locations in the Loire valley. Château Velouse has everything you need for a relaxing week - beautiful bedrooms, lovely outdoor pool, barbeque and al fresco dining area and lovely dining room and lounge. We chose to self-catering but there are options to hire in a chef to prepare meals for your group. There was also lots of information in the château guide about other tailored services that were available such as wine tours. Claire and Phil made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and recommended places to visit.
We rented this home in December 2022/January 2023 and highly recommend it for families or large groups. Due to the time of year. we were concerned about the heat but all of the rooms were more than adequately heated. Additionally the fireplace in the living room produced a very warm, cozy atmosphere. We were 8 adults and 4 children (ages 5, 3, 3 and 1) and everyone had enough space. The children especially enjoyed playing with all of the toys in the playroom which allowed the adults to socialize in the living room just next to it and still keep an eye on them. It was perfect for everyone! The children also enjoyed playing outside in the fully enclosed yard. The pool was closed for the season but it, too, is fully fenced making it safe for the children to play outside with minimal supervision. The kitchen has a beautiful gas and electric stove as well as a wood burning stove and the back terrace has a barbecue which we used often. The kitchen table seats 8 comfortably but we were fortunate to have some warm days and could eat on the large table on the back terrace. All of the bedrooms are good sized and well appointed and each had individual heating units. The beds were all comfortable with clean, crisp linens. In addition to the half bath on the main floor there were three large bathrooms conveniently located between bedrooms with large soaking tubs and it was more than enough for our large group. The exposed beams and stonework throughout the home was gorgeous and each room was well decorated yet comfortable – we didn’t feel we needed to worry about the children breaking anything. The internet and Netflix were consistently reliable for anyone who is trying to work while on vacation. Finally, dishwasher and washer and dryer made for easy living.! Communication with the host was exceptional and checking in and out was very easy. We can’t say enough about this wonderful gem. We had a relaxing time, did a few hikes, visited some local sites as well as nearby vineyards. We would love to come back and would definitely recommend it to family and friends!”

We spent 2 very good weeks in the house. The rental corresponds exactly to the photos published on the site and it was very clean when we arrived. The owners provided us with a wide description of the house, people to contact in case of concerns, visits to do allowing us to spend our stay in peace. The owner is easily reachable; an agent is on site in case of problems and a person is responsible for the maintenance of the pool every 3 to 4 days. The house is ideal for 2 couples with children because there are bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the ground floor and upstairs. We highly recommend this rental and thank Terry and Carol for the welcome.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison Gounou. There were seven of us from the same extended family, aged from thirteen to sixty-two, plus two small dogs. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how quiet and peaceful the location was, which coming from south London was a real blessing. Although the house is situated on a small road, passing cars were extremely rare. We met some of the local neighbours when out dog walking, and they were pleasant and friendly. The house is beautiful and comfortable, very picturesque with a large gravelled driveway for several cars. We could close the iron gates to keep the dogs inside, which was useful. The pool was exceptionally clean, very refreshing and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of pots of pans for large-scale cooking, including many le Creuset dishes. The rooms were spacious, the bedrooms comfortable, with plenty of bathrooms and toilets for everyone. Bedding was changed half way through our two-week visit. The surrounding area is full of old bastide towns with markets and medieval buildings, outdoor evening dining events, medieval fairs, artisan shops . Although it was thriving, nowhere felt too busy or stressful. We found lots of places to eat including a lovely restaurant in Monpazier (Privilege du Perigord) that served a tasty three-course lunch for 23 euros. Highlights of the stay: peace and tranquillity, ability to let go and relax. Lovely veranda to sit and read/relax/fall asleep, lots of books to look at, lovely sitting room. More than enough space for seven people and two dogs. Lovely local towns to stroll around.
We love the design and build of the house and have enjoyed our stay here with our family enormously. The pool has provided a great deal of fun for all and there is so much opportunity for relaxation and enjoying all the local produce!
Our holiday in the villa was excellent and we would be prepared to recomend the villa to any of your future clients. The villa was extremely well appointed.
From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.
