Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
Thank you so much for the most amazing weeks stay in Piglet Barn. We honestly had the best time, a perfect family holiday. Thank you for being the most welcoming, warm and charming hosts, you looked after us so well. Thank you for drinks in your home, it was so much fun. We are going to miss our walks around Vouvant and morning coffee in the village. Thank you again so much for being the most amazing hosts, it was a holiday we will never forget. We stayed in this amazing house for a couple of weeks - 4 couples, with kids left home! The place is really hard to describe because it is so much more than we expected. Also the photos don't quite do it justice (especially the outdoors pics). It is a huge house, with several levels. All the bedrooms bar one are on one upper floor. The other bedroom (that we stayed in) is accessible on the side of the building and has a lovely little terrace with a small table and chairs. Perfect for taking in the sun or simply relaxing. I did do a bit of work there. On the lower level is the huge kitchen, big dining area with a really cool table that makes entertaining fun and loads of interesting living areas each individual and stylishly decorated. All in all it is a big place where it is easy to spend time with friends and be sociable, or retreat to one of the cosy, quirky but fantastic living spaces for me-time. We weren't quite sure what we would do there for 2 weeks as it seemed a little remote, but it is SO relaxing and welcoming we spent the first week just staying put and enjoying it. The swimming pool is great and I did my lengths every morning. The area just beyond the pool is great in the evening for a drink (or many more). The bedrooms are really special. Big and very well appointed. Comfortable beds and interesting bathrooms (ours had a built-in bath). The owner Fred is super friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed by him and his partner and to our surprise the fridge was filled with local produce and there was also some wine and fresh bread left for us! Great surprise and even better after the long drive down! For shopping we went to the closest town and there were 2 large supermarkets there as well as the usual bakeries/butchers etc. The area is very beautiful. The mountains are stunning and we found some really lovely villages to explore. We had a great dinner one night in Sauve. Really cute village well worth exploring. We ate on a square high up overlooking the river below. I could go on and on. The place has so much charm and is so well appointed, we could have stayed for longer. We have amazing memories and special thanks to Fred for having created this small piece of paradise.
Great Country Home in Domme. Eight of our family recently spent a few days in the Dordogne region greatly enjoying our home away from home, well located in Domme. Le Borghesia was a beautiful, very impressive and very old home renovated and appointed for today’s lifestyle. It is well located in a lovely country setting. Checking in and out was seamless. I would definitely recommend Le Borghesia to other travellers.
Had an amazing time with the family at this beautiful château. Tucked away among adorable little villages, a slice of pure tranquility. It's a place where everything is beautiful and well taken care of. And the pool an absolute gem, a spot where you can relax and soak in the stunning scenery. We loved the laid-back vibe while still things were top-notch in terms of comfort and charm.
We had a lovely week at Maison Charvin, enjoying tranquility in the beautiful courtyard garden and excursions to Carcassonne and Lagrasse. The house is a wonderful place to stay and very well equipped. We have wanted for nothing. Very many thanks.

A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
We have been to Maison Baleyssagues so many times and once again it has been a wonderful time. There's so much to entertain here and it gets the family together. I don't want to leave but I still have home.

Thank you again for the wonderful time in this very nice location. Although it was our 2nd time here, there was and is still much to explore in Occitanie! One of the favourites was the canoe trip on the Orb river (canoe-tarassac.com). We can clearly recommend it to all future visitors of this holiday house. Not to forget the beaches nearby, Château Négly if you want to taste and purchase local wine, and last but not least the swimming pool.
This was our second visit to Villa Kali. It remains the best of all our summer visits to France. The villa is so well appointed and well placed for easy access to the superb area. It is extremely well looked after by both the owner and her local staff. The provision of everything one needs makes for a very relaxed holiday. We had no hesitation in booking this accommodation again and would not look elsewhere on subsequent visits. Most definitely a 5 from both of us.
Looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunning environment? Château Entre-Deux-Mers offers it all. The panoramic view on the vineyards, the nicely decorated rooms, the orangerie full of daylight, the library to read at ease, the dining room with huge fireplace, the kitchen where the local cook prepared breakfast and dinner (hmmmm..), the different lovely corners in the flowered garden... Really, I can recommend this castle for a stay with family and friends. I can guarantee: you will come back as reborn. And for those who look for some activities: we used the bikes to explore the surroundings, we made nice joggings and visited Bordeaux with a guide. We will certainly go back :-)
We have had the most relaxing Fantastic, self indulged weeks stay here. Thank you so much for letting us stay in this beautiful place. We will definitely be coming again and bringing our chidren and their partners.
Seven days of swimming, rounders, running, races, hide and seek and much more have delivered a break to remember, especially for the kids! And that, of course, makes a holiday for the adults. P.S. We saw a deer!
Great place!! We really enjoyed our week here. Pool, excitement of the stay, the tortoise and the location. We think that the tortoise should be named Trevor. :) We loved Bordeaux. Some great restaurants in Libourne: MA Restaurant and Bistro Maritime. Very enjoyable wine cellar tour and tasting at Château de la Rivière just up the road. Recommend Grotte Pair-non-Pair near Bourg. Thank you from us all !

We had a fantastic time at Mas de Clouze. We walked to Beaumont, canoed at Cenac, visited Montpazier and Chateau de Biron. Lots of long lunches at the house and hours of fun in the pool. Many thanks.
What a beautiful home. The gardens, view and pool are simply stunning and we have had the most beautiful, restful holiday gazing at the view, enjoying the amazing pool and the delightful sofa which was a great place to hang out in the shade of the Mulberry tree. Marianne [housekeeper] has been marvellous – we enjoyed canoeing on Le Dropt and a trip to Eymet, otherwise we have everything we needed here!
