This is a fabulous property and the hosts were just wonderful. I shall certainly be letting our friends and colleagues know of this magic place. We had a wonderful time, our hosts were very welcoming and we enjoyed their company.
Thank you so much for letting the house to us. We had a fantastic 2 weeks and the house worked really well for us all with so much space and everything we needed to have a fantastic holiday. It is a beautiful spot and we all managed to enjoy things-swimming, walking, cycling, horse riding, wineries and particulary the evening markets. We really had a wonderful vacation.

This is certainly the most tranquil villa I have ever stayed in. The pool and garden are quite lovely. Very hard to pull ourselves away. The area is wonderful. Finally I understand why so many people relocate to the Languedoc-Roussillon.
We have stayed in many different holiday properties in Europe but this one was certainly one of the very best. The house was well equipped and comfortable, the location excellent and the pool area perfect. We were sorry to leave - there was so much to see and do in the area. We would be very pleased to book the Villa again.
A stunning cottage with a big private pool and 2 great restaurants at just 5 minutes walk. Lovely.

What an amazing week! The whole family had a superb time - we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful home, with everything we needed there! Our family - from the age of 6 to 71 enjoyed all the facilities - the pools, hot tub, table football, darts and of course, table tennis. Thank you so much for your hospitality and use of your “home”. We will be back - but before then I hope you will visit us in Prague.
We have just returned from our stay and wanted to let you know what a lovely place this is. Firstly the property itself is extremely comfortable with a beautifully maintained pool in a lovely setting overlooking the vineyards. The proprietors, Debbie and Rupert, are very welcoming and helpful. They are not intrusive but they do go the extra mile to make the holiday enjoyable. Everything was included that we could possibly have needed and Debbie gave us some delicious home made yoghurt for breakfast. Secondly, this is a brilliant area to visit. It's located pretty much on a crossroads between different areas, so whichever direction you travel in the countryside is different and there are some incredible places to visit: beautiful villages, vineyards, Cahors, the river Lot and its valley, Peche Merle for prehistory and a lovely little prehistory museum in Luzech with some amazing exhibits. We've re-visited places we've been to over the years and also seen some new. It has been everything that we could have wanted - and more.
It is with a heavy heart that this 3-generation family are leaving this wonderful and magical place! We have spent a week here and we all agree that it was not long enough! Where do I begin? The château itself is truly gorgeous and to be lucky enough to stay in one with magnificent views is a dream come true. We have stayed in many places over the years and can see that a lot of thought has gone into making this such a comfortable holiday place for all, including tiny children. We hope to come back! In the meantime many thanks to Henrietta for all her help pre- and during our stay. She even organised the purchase of a new cot for our 3 year old grandson. Very thoughtful and well beyond the call of duty.
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
Thank you for a lovely holiday in your beautiful house. The pool was perfect as was the weather, so we made full use of it. The BBQ area was great as well and the new fridge freezer with the ice maker was superb. The area surrounding Besson was perfect for exploring on our bikes. There is still so much more to see so I am sure we will be back.
We cannot think of a more wonderful house and beautiful location for a superb holiday. You have been the most perfect hosts. We have loved our early morning walks in the countryside - the perfect backdrop for our engagement.
We have travelled all our lives and recently decided to change our style. Instead of hiking or always-on-the-move vacations, we thought we would try renting a home to use a base. We couldn't be happier with our decision, but much of the credit belongs to this wonderful villa and Philippe, truly a host extraordinaire. Our only fear is that the bar has been set so high now that future rentals will suffer in comparison. Maureilhan, although not much in itself, is perfectly located for trips in the area, whether to Sète, Béziers, Roquebrun, Sérignan or Montpellier. One final note: although we rented the villa for ourselves, we had three sets of friends drop by for a few days each. With its separate quarters, the villa is perfect for two or three couples. The dinners provided by Philippe at Pour Pas were highlights. So thank you, Philippe. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more.
We had a fabulous week at the property and could not have asked for a better venue or a more convivial, friendly and helpful host. It was a pleasure to meet you and I can only stand back and admire your dedication, determination and fortitude in creating your dream property which came through so clearly in our conversation on the final morning before we left. It was a good holiday... enjoyed by all... but without doubt the venue and host were the stars of the show and we are so pleased to have had this opportunity to spend time with you and discover the area. I do hope at some stage we can return, but in the meantime keep in touch and the very best of luck with everything!

We have stayed several times in this superb house, very well equipped, the swimming pool is great and the view is breathtaking. This little village is worth the detour.
We had a lovely time at Corinne's apartment. It is very clean, had all amenities for daily living, she has thought of everything. Beautiful, peaceful location, amazing balcony to relax on. Full shutters and blinds on all windows and doors for complete privacy. It is a very calm and peaceful place to unwind and short walk to restaurants and right on the beach. Massive supermarket directly opposite which sells everything you could ever need including excellent seafood. Highly recommended.

We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. We have just returned from a wonderful two weeks at Maison Semoussac.
A stay in immaculate cottage with small front garden and very large pool adjoining the owners beautiful historic house. Charming hosts, very helpful when needed, otherwise considerately discreet. Lovely area with lots to do and visit. Would certainly recommend it for a relaxing holiday.
We had a great stay in Maison Rohmer. The house was beautiful and had all you could ask for a family of four. It was incredibly hot while we were there so we found ourselves spending most of our time in the pool, which was lovely. The owner was also very helpful and the location in the heart of the Luberon is hard to beat. Highly recommended.

Stunningly beautiful house, perfectly located for our adventures through Languedoc, Occitanie.
I found peace in both the house and the surrounding area. The house itself felt like home. And the town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just a short walk / bike ride away was charming and welcoming, to say the least. Located centrally, I found that the entire South of France was accessible, though I never wanted to leave lovely Mas de Pitou. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
