This house is even better than we remembered it - we feel so relaxed and at home here.
We just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your lovely house in France. Les Roches was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing, seeing something of the Southern Loire, and trying new wines. The pool, tennis courts, and gym were a big hit with the kids especially. Isabella, thank you for the personal tour of the winery, it was good to learn more about how you create your organic/low sulphite wines and the great knowledge shared while tasting a few, along with the ones we thoroughly tested during our stay The Femme Tour riding by the gates was a one off and such an amazing and friendly experience. We toasted with sparkling wine (Ampelidae of course) on the barrels set at the end of the drive as they rode past. Please say thank you to the so helpful Beada once again for her support and patience with our varied amounts of French. The ladies in the village bakery were also wonderfully cheerful each morning as we negotiated the language of French bread types. In all our joint family holidays this one got the highest score. As we watched the red sunset from the terrace on Friday, no one wanted to go home. Wishing you a good harvest in 2025 and all the best.
Thank you for such a blissful week with you! We have spent many happy hours enjoying your beautiful garden and pool, while exploring the surrounding countryside on our bikes has been idyllic. Highlights have definitely been visiting château Azay le Rideau, Beauval zoo (an hour and a half by car) and a wonderfully relaxed lunch down by the river at La Route du Sel. Thank you for your incredible hospitality, generosity and warmth. We really hope to return next year!
We had a lovely stay at the property. Everything was as expected and more. The owners, Benedict and Pierre Balteau were very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to staying here again next time we visit the Languedoc, Occitanie and will certainly be recommending this property to our friends and family. What a wonderful relaxing holiday. Apart from a day trip to Nantes we spent the whole week relaxing by the pool. Les machines de l'Île are well worth visiting. 7 year old Archie was totally blown away by the mechanical elephant. We will definitely be back when the Heron Tree is completed. The gite is so well equipped and make a wonderful home from home. Ian and Jean were very welcoming and informative. We've certainly made some memories here.
Château Chante L'Oiseau is the epitome of rustic French countryside living. It is an absolutely charming property with well appointed and comfortable rooms for restful sleep and mutiple reception rooms for relaxing and entertaining in. Its extensive grounds offer a plethora of activities to enterain both young and old. This is our favourite spot for a sojourn with friends and family.

What a wonderful holiday at this amazing Villa. Firstly, a big thank you to the owners who were amazing and answered all our queries and were very fair minded when checking out. This really is a luxury apartment and everything was as stated. The pool is excellent as well as the hot tub. The are lots of eating areas and plenty of room to sunbath on the decking. I can recommend taking advantage of the visiting chef - he was excellent. The property has aircon which works extremely well. The kitchen is amazing with every mod con you could want and well appointed with kitchen equipment. The welcome book was very useful and covered everything. There are plenty of fridges and freezers and one outside which was very useful. We were 7 adults and three young children and we fitted in very well and never felt cramped. Some of the walks nearby are very good. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough and we will definitely be returning
We had a simply exceptional weekend. The castle is very comfortable with one bathroom per room, the renovation is extremely well thought out and the attention to detail is very appreciable. It's modern and functional. The heating works perfectly well. There is everything you need on site (well-stocked kitchen, stereo, video projector, etc.) The packed wine tasting event on weekends and the walks in the vineyards at the foot of the castle are great. The staff on site is perfect.
We had a wonderful time at Villa Estephe. As we mentioned while there, this is about our sixth visit to the area so we were very well acquainted with its beauty. As you know, the weather was fantastic, even a little too hot in the second week, so shade from the trees and air conditioning were both very welcome. The accommodation is excellent and very comfortable. If we visit the area again, we will certainly be considering your property. Thank you for our stay.

We loved every moment of our stay. The Cottage du Jardin is pretty but so well appointed; super-clean, well equipped and charming. The pool and gardens are private and delightful. Catarina and Stephen are great hosts - nothing is too much trouble and they are just so friendly. This property is a jewel and the villages and ancient sites of the Vezere Valley make this a stunning trip.
What a splendid house! We greatly enjoyed our stay at La Roujal. Beautifully appointed, it looked after us very well giving us a week to remember for all the right reasons. Nic\s is kind and thoughtful presence was much appreciated too. Thank you.

So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! We have had a lovely spent in this beautiful villa. We all felt very relaxed. The pool was very welcoming especially as it was such a hot week. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed the night markets in Duras and Monsegur. Would recommend the Terrasse restaurant in Duras. Thank you Frédéric for being so helpful.

Came for 2 weeks, had a warm welcome from our hosts. We explored the area and further afield, went on lovely walks, found some lovely villages, Sarlat-la-Caneda and Bergerac with their lovely markets. We had a fantastic time at Mas de Clouze. We walked to Beaumont, canoed at Cenac, visited Montpazier and Chateau de Biron. Lots of long lunches at the house and hours of fun in the pool. Many thanks.
We had a fantastic stay and are so thankful to the owners. The house is beautiful and very rustic (which we loved) but topped by the setting which is rural and stunning… again, we loved. The hosts Helen and James are so kind and interesting and were really helpful when our car had a tire puncture. The pool is one of the nicest we have ever been in with a lovely salty water and always the right temperature. A great stay.

Perfect. Just perfect. I hesitate to advertise this since I'd want to keep this gem as a secret all to myself. New house, everything top of the range and well kept. Deep pool for laps. Large garage. Privacy and security. The nicest host couple. And the views. Photos simply don't do justice. Would recommend whole-heartedly.
