Maison Palatini was just perfect – we really had a most wonderful, relaxing stay. The house is beautiful and so well equipped and a great location just a stroll from the fascinating old town of Pézenas
What a wonderful place to stay, house, pool, night skies and boulangerie 5 minutes away. The extended family had such a good time here. In temperatures of nearly 40°C the castle was still cool but so sad to see the effects of the drought / climate emergency everywhere. Birds needed water every day! Deer by the pool, slow worms and much more.
An exceptional house in an exceptional setting. We were able to stay a week in this house in so many different ways, as a family, as a couple with friends and this house allows to enjoy life! Take the time to enjoy the superb cuisine, professional level equipment, with and without a caterer, you will appreciate the heart of the house. A large piece of land that can be shared around the house for different activities, a superb seating area with views on the Rhone, a welcoming corner around a round table and its tennis court not far away. The land extends to offer a short walk, allowing digestive walks following the big banquets in the reception house where a large sofa, retro projector and bar await you! Perfect tranquility and very comfortable bedding, enough to spend an exceptional stay where rest and pleasure are the key words of our experience.
I just wanted to say that we all found your house to be absolutely lovely. Everything we could have hoped for. So many nice touches, you clearly put a lot of thought and no doubt effort into making it a very special place. We especially loved the pool of course, which has such a great design for the little ones with the shallow section, but we loved the whole place. Everyone was very happy there. Many thanks
The gite is beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the hosts Kirstie and Russell have made sure you have everything you need for your break. There is a lovely private seating area outside with dining area, hot tub and patio which looks out onto the orchard and fields. Wonderful place to stay in a great location for visiting local vineyards and historical towns and villages.

A very pleasant quiet house for a family stay. The children have enjoyed the very nice garden, the ball and racket games. The terrace is lovely for meals. The house is ideally designed for a quiet and serene indoor space. We enjoyed the excursions in the region and our tennis tournament.

Over the years we have stayed in around twenty different houses all over France - most were good, one or two were very good. But then there is the special one - this year. This house didn't feel like a house; it felt like home from the moment we walked through the door, after a long and tiring drive (and, bless you, there was bottle of ready chilled local wine ready and waiting for us). 'Welcome to your home' it said. The layout, décor and furnishings are delightful; and the luxury of each bedroom having its own bathroom topped it off. We had friends who came to stay for a while and they shared our thoughts. One couple even came back for a second visit on their way home. And then there is the garden – warm, private, shaded when you want it and serene. And yes, the pool is fabulous – it's a proper size. But wait until you see the garden at night, when you have your barbecue and the garden and pool lights come into play... makes the local rose taste even more morish. And then there is Pézenas - ten minutes walk away through a vineyard. And you won't go hungry there. Wonderful town. Only one regret – we couldn't parcel it up and take it home. It is, truly, an oasis.
Fabulous weekend. This place is simply wonderful! Great food, company, wine... What more could a Scottish ask for?
This truly is a wonderful property with friendly, welcoming hosts; it was even better in the flesh than in the pictures. The house lacks for nothing in either charm or the quality of the finish internally and everything was provided to make our stay as comfortable as one would hope. This was a true 'home from home' with several thoughtful little touches that made all the difference (fresh soap in the bathroom, coffee pods and bottled water if we wanted it in the kitchen to name just a few). All of this, in combination with a fantastically picturesque and peaceful location means that we cannot recommend this property highly enough and will most definitely be back next time we visit the Languedoc, Occitanie region!
What a joy! We had such an amazing week at your fantastic house! We loved the house, the garden and the pool! The weather was perfect. We had a wonderful evening at ‘Poquelin’ and we had dinner at several of the restaurants recommended. (Chez Leo!!) Golf at Cháteau les Merles, what a beautiful place. We would love to come back.
Just to say that we have enjoyed our time here enormously. You have the most beautiful home in a wonderful location! We only left the house twice other than to shop for food. Once to go to Château Bridoire (a good recommendation thank you) and Château Montbazillac and a second time today to go to an aqua parc. Thank you very much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cherry Farmhouse. The outside BBQ area and pool, were the highlight of the holiday with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside, which were ladened in bowing sunflowers. The area was just so peaceful. Both our girls adored the pool which was just perfect for two young budding swimmers. Property was well equipped and the hosts, Stephane and Cathy were lovely and very attentive. Thank you for the lovely tomatoes!! A perfect holiday, lots to see and do, to which we hope to repeat again soon!
We have absolutely loved our stay in this perfect house. The pool has been a necessity due to temps in mid-high. All in all, it's been a wonderful fortnight and we've enjoyed rediscovering places that we visited here 20 years ago.
Watch out, as we are definitely starting to feel at home at beautiful Lamolene and surrounds. Thank you so, so much for our wonderful, special break.
We had a wonderful holiday here, the garden and swimming pool area is a real gem and the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the markets in Nyons and Vaison la romaine, the Roman ruins in Vaison and Sault and the cave paintings at Chauvet-pont d’acr are astonishing, we also enjoyed the local wines, it was very special drinking Audrey Latards wonderful wines knowing they are from the vines at the end of the garden, Thank you.
What a beautiful, well appointed home in a wonderful location. Despite the odd bit of rain we and our guests enjoyed our two week stay immensely. Thank you to the owners who were perfect hosts – helpful, friendly and on hand when needed, without encroaching an inch on our privacy. We could not have asked for more, either of you or of Domaine de Nérige. You have designed the perfect holiday home and we and our guests would have been happy to stay longer, much longer. There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family. The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. A fantastic week at the villa. We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking when travel restrictions were listed. We were slightly anxious about travelling in these times but always felt safe and welcomed be the locals. We're so pleased we did come! The villa is very well equipped and Frederic was so informative and helpful. The massive selling point for us was the gorgeous pool and gardens as well as the stunning setting and amazing views from every angle! We spent many nights eating cheese and drinking wine while watching the sun set and then gazing at the star-rider sky. This is definitely one of the most beautiful parts of France we've been too. We enjoyed the local morning's and night's markets in Duras, kayaking down the Dropt river and would recommend visiting local town/villages like Eymet, Villeréal and others mentioned in the guide. St Emilion is also a family favorite and is a must-visit! We now have a car full of wine! Thanks for an amazing week! We hope to be back soon.
What a memorable time we had with friends along with my 5 years old daughter at the château. The owners are friendly and extremely generous, beautiful adorable dogs, my daughter is fond of them. The castle is rustic French style property with large windows directly opens to garden space and pool, the property is huge enough for every day walk, lush greens, canals, peaceful at the same time. The furniture and tapestry are well selected and stored beautifully. It’s a combination of modern comfort meets rustic luxury one could dream of. 5 - 10 minutes drive to local markets, boulangerie for delicious French breads. Amazing Safari zoo, my daughter and we had a great time. Great seas face restaurants are close by and a must visit. A perfect gateway to celebrate with your family, friends and loved ones.
A lovely place to stay. Hospitable reception. Beautiful surroundings within easy reach of Orange, Avignon, Pont du Gard and Uzès. Highly recommended.
This is a beautiful, fully modernised house in a lovely friendly village. A well designed spacious house over two floors with a large balcony from the modernised kitchen and lounge overlooking the pool and views of the surrounding areas The property is perfect for lazing by the pool and is Ideally placed for trips to many nearby beaches and to the cities of Narbonne, Béziers and Montpellier.
Beautiful scenery, wonderful rooms and an awesome car show to boot! All excellent things to go with the wonderful community of kind and friendly people.
