Villa Genêts is a beautiful villa close to the village of Magagnosc . It has a lovely outdoor dining area which has amazing panoramic views of the Bay of Cannes, perfect for alfresco dining and enjoying the local wines. The house combines both elegance and comfort with a fabulous swimming pool. The pool has loungers for basking in the sun and has a seating area and outside bar ideal for pre-dinner sunset drinks. The house is close to Grasse and is in a superb location for exploring the delights of Provence, with easy access to the coast but also provides an escape from it all.
We had a wonderful time at Le Sechoir…countless idle days reading by the pool in the sun. So so special after the last year.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday in your beautiful château. Every moment has been enjoyable and I am full of admiration for the way you have lovingly restored the house over 15 years, the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. It has certainly been a holiday to remember, in such a lovely setting and area of France.
I loved staying in this lovely house. The garden was my favourite part of it. I did enjoy having a dip in the pool. I'm glad to say I am satisfied with my stay.

After months of searching for the perfect 'retreat' we arrived at Le Presbytère! Exactly what we envisioned for our first trip to France with out kids. We have so enjoyed the pool, pond and of course, the whole place. We visited every bastide and market and cooked to our hearts content. Such an exquisite spot - we know the area very well - but rarely left this spot; instead played games, spotted frogs and foxes and explored every inch of this 'fab' property. Perhaps a X-mas visit next?! Many thanks for sharing this beautiful home - we hope to return soon. Gary and Louise were great - close at hand but unintrusive.

Had a lovely restful week here. Kids spent 90% of their day in the pool! A few trips out, one to Olonzac market and the beach, but best days spent at the villa. Stunning views and so peaceful. Enjoying cooking diner and the kitchen has everything you need. Off North in the camper van tomorrow to continue our holiday but will miss the luxury of the villa.
I had very high expectations for this accommodation, based on the photos and descriptions. But the castle was even more incredible than we dared to imagine. We were four families, 15 in total, on a graduation trip across Europe. It's the only place we could all be together and our days there were the highlight of our trip. This place is PERFECT for large gatherings. So much room, so many places where we could all be together. Amazing food. The pool was awesome. I can't say enough how perfect it was for our group.
We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. I'm going to preface this review by saying our extended family have hired a number of châteaux over the years, so we have something to make comparisons with! Without doubt this château offered the best value for money we have ever enjoyed. Our party of 18 used all the 10 bedrooms on offer, without anyone having to compromise on bedroom space. The kitchen was large enough to cater for the entire party with plenty of worktop space and a large island unit. Refreshingly there are plenty of cooking utensils and professional sized pans etc. There are three fridges, we used the large stand alone fridge for food,= and the two under counter fridges for 'adults' and kids drinks. The lounge diner is huge and comfortable, with good quality games available, including chess and backgammon. The pool is among the largest we've ever enjoyed with a deep end you can actually dive into. At points we had a dozen people in the pool and still had room to swim around. There are two main terraces, both easily able to accommodate at least 20 people. Smaller seating areas are dotted around the grounds so if inclined you can take yourself off for a bit of peace and quiet. There is a new and very good quality BBQ on the rear terrace with a moving charcoal tray which means you can raise the heat source as charcoal burns away. We were able to BBQ for 18 on half a bag of lump wood. Our party had 5 cars, the driveway was large enough for them to be parked so that everyone could drive out of the château without the need to move another vehicle. Saving the best to last, the sports hall/games room is magnificent. With a full sized badminton court, a basket ball hoop, 2 table tennis tables, table football, a darts board,= and a full sized pool table our whole party had plenty of activities to choose from. This facility was constantly used for weeklong knockout completions including our own decathlon type event. Modesty prevents me revealing who the best pool player was. From our perspective, this vast array of facilities and activities provided the perfect ingredients for our first ever holiday where children needed no entertaining at all. Finally a place they can truly entertain themselves.
We absolutely loved this house for our week-long stay for a friend's wedding - the house itself is gorgeous - really stylish with luxury fittings and furnishing, ample kitchen crockery etc and even well-stocked to use the BBQ and have food and drinks outside. The pool and view are just magnificent and there is a lovely restaurant just two steps away, as well as more bars and restaurants in nearby towns... just a perfect place for a relaxing south of France stay! We would love to return!
A lovely family week in this perfect house in an idyllic situation on the edge of the charming village of Cucugnan. The house is well-equipped and the pool is fabulous! The barbecue and table-tennis also much appreciated. The house is a short walk into the village where we visited two bars and an excellent family -run restaurant (Auberge du Vigneron). Also enjoyed ‘Burger Friday’ at the bar. The village shop has all the basics. We also did a ‘degustation’ (wine-tasting) in the village and visited two of the nearby fascinating Cathar Castles – there is plenty to do in the area but the house is also perfect for relaxing. We will be back!
We booked for 3 weeks this past summer at the Maison Emz. It was a fantastic experience. Jacky and Anna are absolutely wonderful.

We have had a wonderful week. The children have spent almost the entire week in the pool and the adults some wonderful meals at Le Petite Coutures, Verteillac evening market and lunch at La Cour de Miracles. We've loved the views and the full moon rising over the forest was spectacular. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a beautiful château! 18 members of the family came from all over the world for our 50th anniversary wedding together.
We had an excellent stay in this magnificent house where everything has been thought out so that young and old can make the most of the holidays. We were a group of 3 couples and 4 children and each got enough space and privacy. The house is very beautiful, well decorated and pleasant to live in. The garden is very beautiful and the pool area is perfect! The barn converted into a games room was also very popular (especially since the sun was not there). The kitchen is fully equipped. In short, we highly recommend this rental!
