We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful holiday at Maison Montjoi in south-west France. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, and they made sure everything met our needs throughout our stay. The charming cottage was tastefully furnished in a French country-chic style and had everything we, as a retired couple, needed. The spacious garden had comfortable seating and dining options as well as a luxurious, well-maintained pool to cool off in after a hot day sight-seeing. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque with gently, undulating wooded hills and arable rich valleys. Rivers, lakes and canals also criss-cross the region providing many options for cycling and walking. Dotted around are medieval bastide towns and villages which are well worth exploring: Puymirol, Lauzerte and Moissac. Our hosts tipped us off with excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to dine at. Our favourite restaurant was La Cage aux Oiseaux in the beautiful small hamlet of Mountjoi, minutes from the cottage. We also enjoyed the traditional Tuesday market in Valence d’Agen and the jazz night at the friendly café in Castelsagrat.
Just to say that we had a wonderful stay in Domaine Rabassié and Natalie and Mile were great.
Maison Theron is spotlessly clean and immaculately presented, we couldn’t have been happier and would have been delighted to spend much longer there. Great beds - very comfortable a lovely living space and a private and cleverly done garden with a pool. This quiet and calming home is a wonderful find.
A wonderful stay at the beautiful gite. Sue and Patrick were the perfect hosts. We had lots of fun exploring the areawith our two sons. In particular, we loved the new pool, with our eldest learning to swim on our trip! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). Thanks Anna and James for letting us use your beautiful house.
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Villa Campredon is amazing and Christophe and his wife are excellent hosts. Their communication with us was excellent and they were very welcoming and happy to provide information on what to do locally. We had a great week and hope to return in the future. The house is exactly as shown in the photos, is very clean and has a very well equipped kitchen. Each room with its own bathroom is a luxury. We stayed with an extended family and I highly recommend this property.
We echo the comments of your previous guests in your beautiful home and garden. It was a long wait before we finally got here but so worth it. So many vinyards, so many châteaux, so little time. One of our lasting memories is standing in the middle of the Loire river on the riverbed. We hope the river returns soon.
An ideal village house for great holidays. A very beautiful house, like on the pictures and very welcoming. Refined design. Heated pool, nothing wrong. Clean and practical house. The owner is available and ready to help. If I visit the area again, I will return to the house if available.
Our 2nd visit to Mas de Lozanne and it certainly didn't disappoint. The extreme heat curtailed some outings, but the pool area was a haven! We still managed daily coffees in Café d'Art and a couple of early evening drinks. We made good use of the barbecue. Pezanas keeps on giving and this house, nestled in the vines, is a delight! We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We appreciate how clean it was when we arrived (thanks Yvonne) and the wine. We love the decor and period furnishings. The pool and small barn were great. It was interesting to hear about the history and previous occupants of the house from Bob and Margaret, the English neighbours across the road. Thanks. We hope to return one day.
We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious and well maintained accommodation met the needs of our party of 15 perfectly, ranging from ages 1 to 85. The accommodation was even nicer than shown in the photos, as the sitting room had been refurbished. We particularly loved the on site activities (table tennis, pétanque, pool etc) and the sitting area by the pool! There were many thoughtful touches, including toys for younger children, board games and a well stocked kitchen. The site managers were on hand to help with any queries and advise on places to visit. The Manoir is well located close to Casteljaloux for supermarket, shops, market etc and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. We’d certainly love to stay here again!
Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.
Beautiful château, very comfortable for a large group of mixed ages. Fantastic for children and adults alike. Lovely pool and trampoline was well used. Appreciated the DVDs and TV access. Brilliant choice of catering and all delicious. Perfect service, thank you.
We had such a fantastic time at Manoir Gascon The pictures on the website don't do it justice! We were all blown away by the house and the pool and the beautiful grounds. We barely left the house as we loved it so much although we all loved the Hotel du Commerce in Estang too. We had coffee there every morning and dinner twice. Rosie was great and really helpful as well as an excellent babysitter. Almost as soon as we arrived we were talking about trying to come back!

We had a lovely stay under the mulberries this summer. The house is well located near the river Aude where we had a lovely day kayaking and a short cycle ride from several lovely villages and markets. Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.
We spent a week with two families (9 people) aged 6 -70 in Le Mas Repenti and we had the most wonderful time. It is nestled in the glorious vineyards with views of the hills in the distance. The house itself has been lovingly restored and every inch is perfectly presented. Stunning furniture, decorations and soft furnishings. It is charming and yet completely comfortable – the master bedroom is like the best suite in any hotel! The grounds are beautiful and the boules pitch and swingset were a big hit with the children. The pool is perfect with plenty of loungers for everyone and a great pool house area for getting some shade and having a drink. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. Every pot, pan and serving dish you could ask for along with plates and glasses for an army! The terrace was wonderful and the huge table very accommodating of our feasts. We did not experience much intrusion from bugs, other than a few mozzies who battled through our Jungle Formula! We loved the local vineyards – several within a 5 minute drive. Our favourite was the rose from Château Beaumel. Highly recommend this home for an extremely relaxing and authentically French experience!
Spectacular. We have rented vacation villas for most of our married life, that is for almost fifty years. That should make us experienced rentors. In the mean time, our family has grown and, if we get them all together, we are a party of twelve. This is our first year in Maison Sebastien, just outside St. Michel l’Obeservatoire on the outskirts of the Luberon and by a long stretch it is the most suitable villa that we have ever rented. The setting of the house is spectacular and very private. It has been modernised in a most tasteful way, fitting the ancient building and the rural Provençal environment. We found the house spotlessly clean, and the caretaker, who lives on the grounds could not have been more helpful. He also takes care daily of the super swimming pool and is ready with advice and information. He has a wealth of knowledge about the house, its history and the area. The kitchen equipment is first class and there is enough of everything to accommodate a dozen people without having to wash dishes or glasses in the middle of a three course meal. The house reflects the love and good taste that has gone in to the renovation and decoration. All of our family have enjoyed it to the fullest and we already long to be back.
Beautiful house with pool, nice and private yet a short walk into the centre of Sarlat. The house is very well equipped and cosy for those days when the weather didn’t play ball! The surrounding area has so much to offer. We will be back. We had a wonderful family vacation in your beautiful house. We will definitely be back. Sun, river, pool, food, canoes! What more do you need... Oh and wine!

Great stay in a large villa very comfortable! The pool is very nice. The accommodation, well equipped, located in a friendly village at a good distance from Béziers and the seaside resorts of the coast.
