Where to begin? Booked this wonderful house 10 months ago. Often looked at the pictures and thought can anywhere be so perfect... it can! The sheer joy of walking from room to room, spending entire days outside by and in the pool. Simple living in a sumptuous house which just keeps giving with it's character, beautiful art and furniture. Was this as perfect as I imagined? Absolutely. Would I come back? Without a doubt. We spent 2 wonderfully relaxing weeks in this beautiful spot. The house was fantastic - spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, super comfy beds and well kitted out with great attention to detail, plus an excellent pool to keep cool in. And those views over the green lake from the outside seating area were stunning! It was a perfect base to explore the area from and we had lots of fun in the lake too, paddle boarding and swimming. Nick and Nicky were absolutely lovely, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Really appreciated the delicious welcome hamper too! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
We love the design and build of the house and have enjoyed our stay here with our family enormously. The pool has provided a great deal of fun for all and there is so much opportunity for relaxation and enjoying all the local produce!
Another wonderful holiday In your beautiful house. We will miss the sunset and the sunrise in the morning. So lovely waking up with the cows overlooking the rolling hills in the background. Everything has been just perfect and we can’t wait to return. Au Revoir for now!
Spacious, comfortable and stylish. The house has a super atmosphere. It’s really spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms have all you need. The pool was spotless and such a treat that it’s just yours to use. The house sits very near to the village. Just a couple of minutes walk to the Square and the little market that seems to visit every Saturday and on two other days too. You can get all you need from there or from the little super market nearby. The terrace was fab for eating our meals outside and just off the kitchen. Bbq worked well too. Over all it was definitely a 10 out of 10 stay. The owners have thought of everything. We really loved the enormous wall hangings.
We just wanted to say we had a wonderful time at the beautiful Richelieu home. Maybe the most beautiful and well appointed vacation rental we have ever had. The property manager, Dawn, was very helpful throughout our stay. We hope to come back again someday.
It is true what the other reviews have mentioned - the photos do not do it justice - the accommodation is huge and the living area is simply gorgeous. The location is perfect, completely silent and peaceful, yet not too far from the boulangerie, activities and local towns. Debbie and Rupert were so welcoming, we immediately felt at home. There was no problem too small and Debbie helped us to book local activities and dinners out. It was the break we had needed for so long, thank you so much.
I'd like to thank you for the fantastic stay we had in your amazing cottage Maison Bourg Calès. It was simply beautiful and my family and I absolutely loved every second of our stay. The weather was brilliant and there aren't enough words to describe how stunning your cottage is. We would definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to any friends. We had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful house in this lovely old historic town. The food was lovely, the beach 20 minutes away was nice and quiet and our children absolutely loved it there as well as enjoying the lovely and very warm pool! The house itself caters for all your needs. A perfect week away at a beautiful house in the perfect location for you to enjoy all the area has to offer.
The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.

House: Fantastic. Idyllic. Perfect. Classical. Beautiful. Spacious. Practical. Comfortable. Beautiful area for touring (Brantôme, Jarnac). Garden: Very child friendly. Garden Jenga etc. Clean and very safe. Beautiful pool and alfresco dining areas. Also adult friendly. V good Gas BBQ.
Maison Lanave is a lovely, well-renovated Gascon farmhouse, nestled in the vines with spectacular views. The photos and descriptions match the reality; it is a truly special place. The hosts are proactive and friendly, on-site but not intrusive. Very willing to accommodate our requests and offer lots of useful local information. The area is rural and there's lots to see and do. We highly recommend a stay here.
What a FABULOUS holiday we have all had in this beautiful charming Chateaux. Paul, Julie/Steven our hosts were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. A memorable holiday we shall certainly be back as well as recommend to all our friends. Thank you.
Immaculate! Everything was soptless. We had everything we needed. Thank you for accommodating us. Love the pool! The BBQ was great for evening meals altogether. Wonderful House - fantastically equipped! We really appreciated the fans in the hot weather! The games room was superb - hardly saw the kids all week! Your recommendations in the purple pages were great. A very tasty trip to Royan for some seafood. Sitting on the terrace, looking over the views was beautiful.

A fantastic two week stay. The house is extremely homely and comfortable with more than enough room for four adults and threes kids. The pool is a great size for family fun - adults and kids alike made the most of it.
I have had the pleasure to have spent many fantastic holidays at Château Entre-Deux-Mers. The beauty of the castle, the quietness of garden with lovely roses, the great pool makes every holiday just perfect. The stunning view will make you happy, every morning again. Situated near the greatest wineries, the beautiful villages like Saint-Émilion and the hospitality of all the wine domains in the neighbourhood make it worthwhile to go back. The château is beautifully decorated, the rooms are spacious and bright, the kitchen is equipped to cook a 5 star dinner and if you don't want to cook yourself, breakfast and diner can be made by a great cook in your own kitchen and will be served in the lovely orangerie. You will never forget a holiday with friends or family at Château Entre-Deux-Mers. And... you will keep coming back!
This year we opted for a “green” vacation with 2 couples of friends and their children (in total 6 adults and 5 children) and were very happy with our rental. It’s never easy with the internet and what a great discovery on arrival: a huge, superbly renovated house. Great comfort in this beautiful stone building, in a very preserved natural setting. The rooms are magnificent and particularly large, the 2 mezzanine bedrooms were occupied by the children by adding an additional bed. The collective spaces are also very neat (comfort, decor) and pleasant to live in, special mention for the kitchen equipped with professional equipment, spacious and equipped with much more than is necessary. The pool is even bigger than it looks in photos. For the youngest children we closed it with the electric shutter, practical and efficient. The garden is ideal for a change of scenery and contemplation, the setting is absolutely beautiful. In the end we regretted having only rented for a week, the house is so pleasant that we wanted to stay there and relax but we will come back to continue discovering the Cévennes. In short, an excellent stay and a rental to recommend.
What an amazing chateau you have, breathtaking; everything that we needed and more. We have enjoyed 1 wonderful week, wish it could have been more. Julie, Paul and Steven - you have been fantastic, always on hand for advice and support and ideas. Especially enjoyed our ‘feast’ in the Dining Room celebrating Alan’s 70th birthday with laughter and some lovely memories that will stay with us all forever. Would love to return at some point in the future - if you’ll have us back! We will miss you. XXX
