We had a lovely stay at Pinaux. The house conversion is beautiful and comfortable for days we didn’t go out. Everything went smoothly with the keys and check in. Henk and Renee were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for providing some basics, including coffee, milk and sugar.
The property was absolutely ideal. We stayed here in July/August 2025 for 2 week and had a perfect multi-generation holiday here, with 12 of us ranging in age from 5 to 76. – spacious enough for us to all be together when we wanted, yet with plenty of room to spread out and relax, play board games, or just enjoy some quiet time. The house is extremely well equipped and thoughtfully set up for larger groups. It’s refreshing to stay in a place that understands what big groups need – more than enough plates, mugs, glasses, and plenty of seating inside and out. The pool was fantastic – spotlessly clean and enjoyed by everyone, every day. A special mention must go to Michelle, the wonderful lady who looks after the property. She was amazing – warm, helpful, and quick to resolve the two very minor issues we had. She also gave us some excellent local recommendations. The location is lovely and secluded, which does mean you need to drive for shops or activities, but honestly, the property is so large and comfortable that you don’t feel the need to leave often. We did enjoy a few outings – kayaking on the Dordogne, dinners out, and day trips – but we were always happy to return “home.” All in all, this house feels like a cross between a welcoming home and an upmarket hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family holiday and would highly recommend it.
What a pleasure we had spending a week full of sunshine in your magnificent villa! Four adults, eight children... and everyone found what they were looking for. Beautiful house, superb garden, fantastic swimming pool!!! We made the most of it. Thank you for your kindness and your availability. You are really very helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful holiday at La Maison Blanche. The location is stunning, a huge garden with a large pool - overlooking a field of sunflowers when we were there. We were two couples with two older children and the house is very spacious and beautifully furnished. The location is very peaceful. Whilst that means that shops, local markets and restaurants are not within walking distance the house is very well equipped, both for cooking and barbequeing as well as entertainment with the pool, table tennis and games. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fantastic home! After a warm welcome we managed to settle down to enjoy all the facilities and the actual location of this beautiful area. We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.
The château has been a fabulous place to stay - a unique combination of grandeur and homely comfort. The facilities are superb and typically rural French. The owner received us graciously into her home with a warm welcome. Jean-Marie was a marvel - really helpful and quick to respond to any requests we had. The local area has so much history all around yet there is something for everyone. Châteaux galore everywhere. Would definitely recommend canoeing the Dordogne - if you can manage the trek to canoe past Castelnaud that would be an amazing trip - we set off from St Cyprien which was great too, but the views past Castelnaud would be amazing. We have been lucky with the weather so the children (and adults) have had lots of fun by the pool. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful house in this lovely old historic town. The food was lovely, the beach 20 minutes away was nice and quiet and our children absolutely loved it there as well as enjoying the lovely and very warm pool! The house itself caters for all your needs. A perfect week away at a beautiful house in the perfect location for you to enjoy all the area has to offer.

Like the previous years, the two weeks at the villa have been wonderful! The house is wonderful, the pool and the closeness to the sea are great. We will certainly be back again.
Unusually for a rental, both the house and cottage are exceptionally stylishly decorated. Elegant yet tranquil, each space has a different but harmonious feel. It has all the comforts you could possibly want, including a well stocked kitchen, recently re-done and so thoughtfully laid out, it is a joy to cook in. The garden has been planted so prettily, as you look out beyond the sweeping beds of fragrant lavender, to the gently rolling fields beyond. The Persian garden is just ravishing, certainly unique and the water features most pleasing. The infinity pool is generously sized for those who enjoy their lengths, the water temperature just right. The property itself is tucked away at the end of a tiny, yet enchanting and very peaceful hamlet. It is in a corner of France which is heaven for foodies, spoilt for choice with plenty of markets, lovely produce and an excellent offering of local restaurants.
We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. I hope we can return for another holiday soon! Thank you from us all. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It really was perfect.
We have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this beautiful house in divine location. The garden is filled with wildlife and we've enjoyed many an hour listening to the birds and watching the bumblebees and butterflies. My recommendation would be to sit back, relax and just take it all in.
We had a wonderful week with family and friends in this beautiful, superbly restored house. Calm, tranquility, countryside, vineyards, large heated swimming pool, games room, wooded park, bowling green, shaded terrace, everything has made you feel good in this house. We had an amazing stay here in Narbonne! The photos you see are beautiful but the house is even better in person. It was so comfortable, beautiful decor, thoughtful touches (like throw blankets, baskets for market, plenty of closet space with extra hangers, extensive kitchen equipment, more...), gorgeous lighting and cozy/high quality bedding (so important when travelling). We felt so at home and enjoyed our down time while in the house! The sunroom was our sanctuary during our stay... our reading room while there... the natural light is so perfect with the back sliding window open and the breeze coming in! Heaven!
Stunning villa with great managers. They pay great attention to detail and took care of every issue. Villa had lots of extras from record player to wine fridge, inflatables for the pool, road access to pool so we could easily get groceries to top kitchen. Loved it!

It's been such a privilege to stay in your beautiful home. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to enjoy it. We enjoyed experiencing the art, the atmosphere, the views and the comfort. We really appreciated your very generous gift of wine and provisions. The village is lively and we have made good use of all it has to offer. terrific choice of the alimentation, delightful terrace and delicious food at the Bar de Prores and a timely haivent at Tiffany's Satin. We recommend a trip to Uzes, Nîmes and Avignon and had a delicious lunch on the banks of the Gardon at Colias on the way to the Pont du Gard. Also, do try the real wine from La Grappe d'Or in the village.
We had a superb 11 day stay in Fitou. Everything was as expected when we arrived - the property has everything you would expect and more when travelling with young children - in our case a 10 month old as well as 2½ year old twins. The car beds were a huge hit with the twins! The village of Fitou is also really nice - there are over 10 wines caves selling high quality local Fitou. There are also some excellent restaurants - would recommend Vidals if you are taking the kids. Outside of Fitou, Perpignan, Narbonne and Carcassonne are all realistic day trip options and the resort of Leucate is also good for a more traditional seaside ambience.
We have just returned from Villa La Baronne where our family of 15 had a wonderful time! The villa is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It is in an ideal location, less than a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket.
Had a lovely weekend at Les Oliviers du Sud. Beautiful flat with all the trimmings and a great view!
