In 25 years of renting houses for our summer holidays, Château Mabrouke truly topped the lot! Ed and Katie have kept it as a family home which gives the house a lovely ambiance and makes it so welcoming and interesting. We loved the artworks, both in the house and the garden. The guide to the house, helpfully shared in advance, was comprehensive. It meant we weren't struggling to work anything out for ourselves and the information on the local area was really helpful. The local team gave us a lovely welcome too and looked after us flawlessly throughout our stay. The rooms all have great character and were very comfortable indeed. The hilltop setting gives outstanding vistas all round and the terraces surrounding the house and pool offered the best of the sun at all points of the day, particularly sunsets at dinner. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped and the cooker is fabulous. Martin and Philippa, who Katie recommended, cooked a wonderful meal for us and were thoroughly engaging company. There is so much to do, in and around the house and in the local area, that it was hard to do it all justice in a mere two weeks. A day's white water rafting and kayaking with Eau Vive at Foix was a big highlight.
Lovely old place restored by Frederic. We were lucky enough to be there for the festival in Sauve which was great! Far too hot to go hiking in the hills but managed trips to Uzes ( beautiful) and of course the Haribo museum for the kids. Pool cover needs 2 people and doesn’t come all the way back but it’s for safety. Kitchen well equipped for a large group. Really enjoyed our stay!
Without reservation I can confirm that this was the best rental we have stayed in - every attention to detail and the care and attention to detail by the owners was simply the best!
This villa was the perfect place for a two family holiday. The pool was very cool and refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing / shopping! The whole two week trip was plenty relaxing and a lot of fun! This house is gorgeous. We will not forget this trip! P.S. a great pizza place down the road!
We spent a relaxing week at Maison Rohmer near Gordes. It was down a very private road and not overlooked by other properties. Very tastefully furnished with everything we needed and more! Just lacking an upstairs toilet in the master ensuite. Gorgeous big pool and we managed to swim in it despite it still staying chilly even in hot July. Lovely area a short drive to beautiful Gordes and other towns and markets. Definitely recommend a stay at this lovely home.
Story book house in a story book setting... We very happily spent the month of August in this charming, comfortable and clean Provençal house. Although it's only minutes from marvellous food shopping and useful services (super market, cafés, restaurants, fitness center, bank, etc. ) it feels private and a world apart. The owner was unfailingly gracious and readily available by phone or email to her London location. As for the world famous village of Gordes and the whole Luberon area... it's one of our most favorite places on the planet.
We've had a lovely week here at the villa. It's been especially good for our youngest family member who has really enjoyed playing here. We loved the heated pool, especially when the clouds come over the fun can continue. Absolutely recommend a trip to see Carcassonne for those wanting a day trip, but remember to check what is open. We are a family of two adults and three teens and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Somail! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space inside and out. The pool area is very sheltered and private - having the pool to cool us down on the hottest of days was certainly appreciated! We enjoyed being so close to the canal and seeing the boats sailing past, it’s a beautiful location. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk of the house, yet the house was very peaceful and we were never disturbed by any noise from the restaurant next door. There were plenty of activities within an easy driving distance to keep us all amused for the duration of our stay including lakes, beaches and shopping. We hope we can return again, thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We enjoyed the house, pool and garden. We took a private boar charter on the canal. We visited restaurants and enjoyed using the 'running track' around the garden.

I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!
Our second time here and more amazing than ever. A beautiful home and stunning location. Superb food and atmosphere. We highly recommend it ! The town of Brantome, too - it is gorgeous ! We will be back again. - family O-H
Probably the best holiday we have ever had. Taught our boys to dive, caught fish and fully relaxed. Didn't hold back on the French food and wine either.
What a remarkable project this house has bee ! Spacious and comfortable with fantastic garden and pool. We enjoyed visiting Bordeilles Castle and beautiful river, plus Brantome and paddle-boarding. We loved the market in Riberac, but the best of all was being here. So sad to leave !
We had a really lovely time at Le Paradis Secret and will no doubt book with you again in the future.

Beautifully renovated Villa. Well equipped kitchen, large pool and lots of ensuite bedrooms. Has everything to keep you entertained whether it’s full sunshine or rain. The owners were super helpful and always a text away if we needed anything. Small town nearby and a big supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay again in the future!
This mansion offers everything anyone could wish for. Spacious, large bedrooms, comfortable bathrooms and outdoors like a park. Lovely swimming pool with sun beds and a lunching area (at least, that’s how we used it. Every one of our group (including the kids) had a wonderful week, no exceptions. Contact with the owner was swift and pleasant and the property manager Caroline is a gem. We hope to be back some other time, but meanwhile we recommend this property to anyone who wants to have an excellent French experience. Many thanks.

We had a wonderful holiday here, the garden and swimming pool area is a real gem and the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the markets in Nyons and Vaison la romaine, the Roman ruins in Vaison and Sault and the cave paintings at Chauvet-pont d’acr are astonishing, we also enjoyed the local wines, it was very special drinking Audrey Latards wonderful wines knowing they are from the vines at the end of the garden, Thank you.
We’ve had an amazing two weeks at this gorgeous property. On arrival we have been overwhelmed by the beauty of the house. It has been lovingly designed to a very high standard and certainly has the “wow” factor on arrival. Frédéric and the staff were very helpful and made our stay very special. We would like to thank you for the wonderful holiday we enjoyed again last year in Navacelles. This house is a heaven on earth. We stayed here twice over the last 3 years (not 3 times only because we were too late to book). Very quiet, wonderful views and still close enough to restaurants and shops. Everything the website promised us was there. The house is superbly decorated and has a wonderful garden and pool. The kids (and the parents) had their highlight of the year again. We won't tell anyone how nice this place is:-). We ll be back soon...
