We are now back at home and I wanted to send you my most sincere thanks for your welcome at Maison de Saint-Jean. Your house is magnificent. It combines the charm of an old farmhouse with the comfort of modern and stylish equipment. There were 6 of us but the house can accommodate 8 people. It is especially the exteriors that we adored. Even though the weather was not very comfortable this summer, we enjoyed the very large garden, the endless view and the heated swimming pool. We will definitely come back because the region is still worth a few detours and your house is the perfect base for visiting it. See you soon.

Very beautiful villa, tastefully renovated. We spent 3 very pleasant days there as a family. The big plus is having a shower room and WC for each bedroom. Ideal location to relax and walk along the Canal du Midi. We will gladly come back.
Very good welcome. Cleanliness of the house, space, functionality, pool safety, baby equipment, everything was there. The surrounding setting of course is wonderful. Quality restaurants close by. Family stay that we were able to fully enjoy. Recommended, to be repeated.
Wonderful stay. We had a great week. The villa is magnificent, very spacious, very well equipped and arranged, nothing was missing. The geographical location is perfect. We are 5 minutes from Agosta beach, restaurants. The residence is very quiet. We were very well received by Emmanuelle. We will come back with pleasure.

During our stay we have very much enjoyed L'abbaye de Fontevraud - so beautiful and wondrous to explore for us and our children, Chinon - such character, even in the rain, the sweet asset wine Coteaux du Layon (c'est magnifique, merci), Azay le Rideau - such a beautiful village, many interesting shops, beautifully presented streets, Mona Pizza in Saumur, despite the name the pizzas (wood-fired oven) were incredible! the Church in Cunault - stunning 14th century, Villandry château gardens - the grounds were stunning, Montreuil ville basse - a lovely village, stunning château in the centre and a great pottery studio, the pool and garden! Enjoyed by us all every day. The gîte was a home-from-home, a real pleasure to stay in. We hope to return here one day!
We had a wonderful week in your most charming house. The weather has been perfect and our two and five year olds have made the most of the your swimming pool and lovely garden. We would love to return again soon!
Beautifully maintained. Very clean fabulous house and grounds. Fantastic range of play equipment for the children and we all really enjoyed the lovely pol. We have all had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful and well equipped house.
We just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your lovely house in France. Les Roches was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing, seeing something of the Southern Loire, and trying new wines. The pool, tennis courts, and gym were a big hit with the kids especially. Isabella, thank you for the personal tour of the winery, it was good to learn more about how you create your organic/low sulphite wines and the great knowledge shared while tasting a few, along with the ones we thoroughly tested during our stay The Femme Tour riding by the gates was a one off and such an amazing and friendly experience. We toasted with sparkling wine (Ampelidae of course) on the barrels set at the end of the drive as they rode past. Please say thank you to the so helpful Beada once again for her support and patience with our varied amounts of French. The ladies in the village bakery were also wonderfully cheerful each morning as we negotiated the language of French bread types. In all our joint family holidays this one got the highest score. As we watched the red sunset from the terrace on Friday, no one wanted to go home. Wishing you a good harvest in 2025 and all the best.

What would you tell your friends about your holiday ? It was a very pleasant stay. A very quiet house, very well equipped, with a much-appreciated pool. Beautiful scenery. What was the best thing about your stay ? The pool. The view over the landscape. The outdoor space. The air conditioning. What could we do better for your next stay? A pitcher/carafe (but perhaps we just didn’t find it). Were there any appliances you really wished you had? It was more than perfect. How was the comfort of your rooms, pillows, and beds? Impeccable. Do you have any comments on the garden, pool, plancha, etc.? Wonderful. Missing: the table game, and a tree under whose shade one could have lunch. How do you rate the information provided in this booklet? Perfect and complete. Is there anything important missing? One of our friends suggested an electric bike. Another thought that suggestion was excessive. How could we improve it? I note that the useful information, sometimes highlighted, already seems extremely well presented — also topographic details, routes, activities, plans for next year. Do you have any other comments to help us serve you better when you return next year? Looking forward to future visits. Final remark: We thank you for this very good stay in this very beautiful and interesting house, whose collection of books caught our attention.
We have just returned from a month in France staying at Domaine de Laure. We had a simply lovely time. Before we went, we did have some reservations about the fact that the property was attached to the owners house. We really do value privacy and experience has indicated that this can be compromised when this is the case. In fact it turned out out that we had the best of both worlds - help whenever we needed it - Pierre and Benedict were charming - and total privacy at all other times. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The king size beds and English TV were a bonus. The pool was clean and well maintained. But for us, it was the location and the total peace that were particularly special - even better than the photographs. The views were beautiful and the grounds very spacious. The only intrusion was the gentle tinkling of goat bells…magic! We have no hesitation in highly recommending Domaine de Laure.
The house is pleasant and the host is welcoming. There is space for a large group. It is easy to park in front of the house and there is also an option to park in the garden. Well located, you can buy bread on the houseboat across the bridge and the bookstore is a must!
We are back home after a really lovely family holiday at Maison Semoussac. The weather was mixed (the rain needed of course) but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. The children loved running down the track leaving little carrots in the hope of seeing hares and picking blackberries which were plentiful. The children's toys and books were wonderful and (surprisingly for their age) they loved playing Monopoly! Marian cooked us a couple of delicious meals too. Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Such an honor to spend time in such a special part of the world, a little piece of heaven surrounded by vineyards, sunflowers and lavender. We drank wonderful wine and ate far too much cheese. Thank you Frédéric for taking care of us and bringing us some fans to appease the heat. We look forward to visiting again one day soon.
We all liked this house because of the pool and the bedrooms and especially the BIG BIG garden. We love that there is a pool table. The kids and adults love jumping in the pool. Hope we get to come here again. We all didn't want to leave.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. We spent a week with two families (9 people) aged 6 -70 in Le Mas Repenti and we had the most wonderful time. It is nestled in the glorious vineyards with views of the hills in the distance. The house itself has been lovingly restored and every inch is perfectly presented. Stunning furniture, decorations and soft furnishings. It is charming and yet completely comfortable – the master bedroom is like the best suite in any hotel! The grounds are beautiful and the boules pitch and swingset were a big hit with the children. The pool is perfect with plenty of loungers for everyone and a great pool house area for getting some shade and having a drink. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. Every pot, pan and serving dish you could ask for along with plates and glasses for an army! The terrace was wonderful and the huge table very accommodating of our feasts. We did not experience much intrusion from bugs, other than a few mozzies who battled through our Jungle Formula! We loved the local vineyards – several within a 5 minute drive. Our favourite was the rose from Château Beaumel. Highly recommend this home for an extremely relaxing and authentically French experience!
We spent a relaxing week at Maison Rohmer near Gordes. It was down a very private road and not overlooked by other properties. Very tastefully furnished with everything we needed and more! Just lacking an upstairs toilet in the master ensuite. Gorgeous big pool and we managed to swim in it despite it still staying chilly even in hot July. Lovely area a short drive to beautiful Gordes and other towns and markets. Definitely recommend a stay at this lovely home.
A memorable week in Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. Our host Thomas was very caring and attentive. Very good services (top bedding and cleanliness, nothing to complain about. Large family holiday, ages varying from 2-60. Beautiful house, great outdoor area with outside pergola and table plenty big enough to sit all 13 of us which was great. As in description location is very rural so definitely need cars - supermarket is 10 mins drive away. Estelle was very helpful leading up to our holiday, and during our stay. Answering all our questions and popped by to make sure we were happy with everything. Local area very pretty, but we stayed in August and everywhere was deserted! Apparently lots of places in France shut down in August. Very well equipped house for great holiday.
Thank you so much for the most restful and enjoyable holiday we have had in ages! Everything was made so easy for us - the Loft is fitted out perfectly with so many additional little touches that we wanted for nothing. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue, the fantastic coffee machine (we're buying one when we get home!) and having breakfast and dinner on the amazing terrace. We had a good look round the local area and were particularly grateful for all your tips and recommendations. You have both been the most wonderful hosts and we have really enjoyed getting to know you over a glass of something cold! Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
Couldn't have asked for more from La Barde or its owner. La Barde was tranquil, comfortable and had everything you would need for a family holiday. The kitchen was so well equipped, it was amazing, the bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy. Everywhere was decorated beautifully and furnished thoughtfully. There was so much space throughout the house and gardens that even as a large family you would be able to find a quiet spot for some peace. The pool had a great shallow area for the toddlers, the garden was great for exploring. We will be returning next year without a doubt! Thank you!
What a beautiful 'home away from home' you have created here. This first holiday has been everything we could have wished for and more. Your hospitality and company have been wonderful and matched only by the breathtaking accommodation and gardens. Words fall short to paint a suitable picture of this delightful place. A most luxurious apartment in an extremely desirable location on the French Riviera. The apartment has all the amenities that one could wish for and the owners are superb - helpful, accommodating and simply nice people. The pool is fantastic and should you wish to discover the area - well - the location is perfect. We had a great stay at the villa and it is, as of now, our place of choice when vacationing in the South of France.
