Fantastic stay in an amazing location. We were 6 adults and 5 children staying for 2 weeks. The weather was still mild and sunny in October and the views on the Corsican mountains and the bay of Ajaccio were stunning. The villa is spacious, very well furnished and in top shape. We used the living room fireplace (it has an extraordinary sixteenth century mantelpiece) every night, it was magical. It is a great place for families.
We had a very relaxing stay at Colombat Cottage. Lots of walking and floating in your lovely pool.
We arrived late afternoon and were met by Yvonne who gave us a lovely tour of this beautiful stunning house, such a lovely welcome. I love all of the lovely antique finds in all of the rooms from the hats in the master bedroom to the old magazines to the pram in the barn. Everything has been thought of here we really didn't need a thing. Would really recommend a trip to La Rochelle but you would need to leave early it really does get very busy. We have been truly spoilt staying here. Impeccably clean and tidy, we have loved every minute. We'd love to come back.

Mas du Château is really beautiful and tastefully finished. Great location with beautiful views and surrounded by villages to visit. We were the first to rent and we can say that everything was planned for comfort and well thought out for the party (beautiful lights and sound system available). I totally recommend! Thank you and keep it up! :)
We had the most wonderful time at Maison de Saint-Jean. The house was lovely it had everything we needed and Rosetta (Housekeeper) was very helpful and welcoming. You are so lucky to have her!
Excellent, at all levels. We were 11 adults and 3 children and we had a wonderful stay. The location is ideal, isolated and quiet. The house is very well equipped (we particularly appreciated the presence of pool towels). The outdoor space and the equipment allowed us to fully enjoy real moments of relaxation. Sam is a very responsive host, ready to answer any questions. In summary, we highly recommend and thank Sam for his impeccable welcome!
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We've had the most fabulous holiday in this beautiful house. The owner made us feel very welcome and even brought down some of her toys for our kids to play with (very kind - thank you). The weather has been great and every day has been spent eating outside and playing around the pool. Visited markets in Castillon-la-Bataille which was very good. Also went for a day out to Saint-Emilion, which was lovely. The owner has done a super job restoring
We have had a wonderful relaxing week at Le Malardier. The house is stunning and photographs do not do it justice. We loved watching the sun rise, taking in the view with our morning coffee. The pool and pool house have been enjoyed by all. Leisurely lunches in the outdoor dining area and a game of boules in the evening. Many thanks to Richard and Gay who have been so helpful and superb hosts.
What to say about this too short stay during which we had a great family vacation. From the very pleasant welcome of Karine and Pascal, from our great exchanges, from their listening to the needs everything was perfect. Charming owners and an incredible cottage where the days go by too quickly. We will miss the fishing pond and the donkeys and deer. Again a huge thank you for everything. We will be back.

What a fantastic week we had a . The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail.
The property Mas des Rivailles is a super place in a great part of France. One of the best swimming pools we have experienced and the family used it all day every day during our stay. The house is really comfortable with lots of areas where the family could spread out to do some work or just have time on their own. Having three formal eating areas meant we could mix it up where we had lunch and dinner. There are great countryside views from all of the windows and the house is in a very peaceful and serene setting. I must commend Frederic, the local property manager. He was there to greet us when we arrived and lead us through the property and all of the bits and pieces and local knowledge which made the experience so great. He is very solution focussed and solved minor issues in a no nonsense, relaxed and timely fashion. Many thanks for all.
A fabulous setting for our family gathering. Some of us were here for two weeks some for one. We all enjoyed it thoroughly, the swimming pool was so restful, it was great for keeping cool, the children loved it. The outside seating being undercover was great as we ate out every night, we were able to watch an amazing lighting show one evening. The beds were very comfy, fans in the room was a real plus as the nights were hot, lots of bathrooms for a big group was also a plus. Some of us had been here a few years ago and it didn't disappoint, we would love to come back again, we loved your well stocked and very clean home
What can I say except that it was perfect in every way! Every year we organize a long family weekend and this is, by far, the one that wins all the votes!
This has been our first villa holiday and you have certainly spoilt us for the future! We don't know how Maison Albarels could be bettered. You have done a fantastic job in converting your old family home into such a lovely villa. Many thanks for your hospitality, especially your wine and juice on arrival and your lovely cherries - and also for trying to sort out the TV for us to watch the World Cup in English... Even if England were rubbish! We loved Carcassonne - we went once by car and once by walking along the Canal du Midi at Pezens. Also Château Pennaultier - a mini Versailles - was impressive and helpful staff in the restaurant / shop. Special mention to the lovely lady in the shop next door, always smiling and helpful even if our French was a bit limited!

An old building in a somewhat isolated place where there is a desired tranquility and calm. A house decorated with great taste! A sunny swimming pool from morning to evening ideal for relaxing and sunbathing with just a corner of shade where you can relax and enjoy. Discreet, pleasant hosts who take great care of their guests!
The host met us on arrival and not only gave us a tour of the apartment but also the entire building and surrounding areas. The apartment was spotless, beautiful modern design with all amenities and so close to the beach. Most importantly for us it catered to a young baby with a high chair, cot, baby bath and even bath toys. Finally the location is immense if you wish to explore the French Riviera. We did day trips in our rental car both East and West from the apartment including Eze, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, St Paul de Vence, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Menton, Monte Carlo and Cap Ferrat. Thank you for giving us a perfect holiday.

A perfect gite to spend a relaxed holiday. We loved each area of the Gite and felt very spoilt to have such a large area to ourselves. The attention to detail inside the gite gives a real homely feeling. The pool provided a lot of entertainment, and again very well presented. Debbie, the host, couldn't do enough for us and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. I can't recommend it/her highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
This flat was wonderful. Location is great, 5 minute drive from Beaulieu, 10 minute walk to train station. Coffee and snacks right at the edge of the property and a few restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet area. Right on the water. This flat had absolutely everything we could want to enjoy our stay. Kitchen is a nice size and has all amenities. The two bedrooms were great. Dining area and living room were spacious and comfortable and the balcony was large and nicely furnished. Washer and dryer were convenient to have. Communication with Ben and the owner was easy. The place also came with beach chairs. The only clarification I’d make is that the bathroom is one toilet, one shower and one sink.
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel at home with brilliant accommodation including a lovely pool and Martyn and Jean looked after us giving suggestion of places to visit. The area was brilliant with lots to see and many restaurants within a ten minute drive plus one restaurant, bakers butchers and general store all within walking distance. A special thank you to Ombre for keeping our football skills on song. I would thoroughly recommend.
Wonderful place. Wonderful place for our family in a quiet village with a perfect little shop, and fantastic for walking, biking, and visiting so many lovely places. and the "chateau" is an awesome place, inside and outside. come and see.
What a wonderful stay we have had at this glorious villa. We could not stay out of the pool as we were so lucky with the weather. The pool inflatables were fantastic, children and adults enjoyed lazing around in the pool for hours on end! We had some great nights in Sarlat at 'Le Pub' watching the street performers. The villa is very well equipped and laid out allowing for us to have our own space as well as a social space. We hope to return next year.
Stunning property overlooking lake. Property is in great location but not isolated, walking distance to bar, restaurant, Boulangerie and takeaway pizza shop (or 2 minutes in car). Property is in excellent condition and is very clean and well looked after, the pool is great for a cooling dip, the area around the pool is also modern and clean with nice furniture too. Comfortable beds with crisp bedding, everything has been thought of with a lovely modern kitchen, unique dining table, comfortable clean sofa. Great views overlooking the lake but still very private. The house also stays quite cool as it's shaded by the trees which was great in the heatwave. The owners are really helpful and take pride in their special property. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay again when visiting this beautiful area of France *****
