Calm location with beautiful views. My wife and I stayed at this villa for a week in mid-June. The villa is nicely decorated and has a well equipped kitchen, nothing is missing. We stayed at the pool house which has a very nice bedroom and direct access to the large back garden and a little terrace for a romantic breakfast. The location is very calm with beautiful views, close to a lot of nice villages and 5 minutes from a golf course. The caretaker who welcomes you is fantastic. A great experience and we will come back!
We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.
Just WOW! An experience that we will never forget! Thank you so much for such a very memorable week at this divine castle. It was just incredible. Our memories of the pool sessions, cooking French cuisine in your gorgeous fully-equipped kitchen, exploring the beautiful grounds and area of Chateau Bourgogne will last a LIFETIME. This castle is so pretty, unique, comfortable and so accommodating and close enough to so many other amazing towns. We will be back! Merci!
I just wanted to thank you for providing us with the perfect spot for our vacation week in Provence. We loved everything about your home, the surroundings and the people. As it was my first time to Provence, we had an elaborate plan to visit Aix, Arles, Avignon etc and whereas I am sure they are fantastic places too, however, we ended up exploring the lovely mountain villages surrounding your home and loved every minute. Thank you for leaving the details regarding bike rental and horse-back riding, in the end it was a bit too hot to do either but maybe next time?! The house was great in every way and we loved every attention to detail and your impeccable taste. Again, thank you for a wonderful holiday, we do hope that some day we can return.
Totally loved the week that we had here! The pool was really private and if your after a pizza then visit Le Yacca, the best pizzas in the world! (in Pézenas). Enjoy your stay.

Thank you for the personal touches, the pastries, beautiful wine, cheese and fruit on arrival along with the wine tour. It was all outstanding. We've enjoyed visiting the beach, Béziers, Montpellier and the local villages. We very much enjoyed cycling around the local area in the sun. We've had some excellent meals 'at Presso' and loved the swimming pool. We can't thank you enough for being such a great host and providing such a superb villa. I'm sure we'll return.
Stunning castle. We want to extend the most enthusiastic THANK YOU for sharing this stunning castle the past week! This setting allowed us to marvel in the delicious cuisine in the vicinity which was highlighted by the freshly baked goods just down the road at the local epicerie. The owner Aurelian couldn't have been more accommodating! We also wanted give a very special nod to the maitre de and chef! They were wonderful hosts, and guides, which was especially evident during the fantastic catered meal in the castle. We shall never forget our time here.
We highly recommend this place! We stayed with a family of 8 people and had a wonderful stay. The swimming pool is great, there is a ping pong table and a big and beautiful garden. There are a lot of different terraces to sit/hangout/have lunch and dinner. The kitchen is well equipped, there's a large stove and a BBQ for outside cooking. It's quiet and there's a lot of privacy. Sam and her husband are very friendly, communicative and helpful. We rented the electric bikes for two days and enjoyed the beautiful and rustique surroundings. There's a tennis court nearby that is very easy to arrange access to. Actually, we can't think of anything against the place, its really great!

Thank you for a wonderful stay in oyur villa, Philippe. The perfect place for 70th birthday celebrations/family reunion. The pool is so well set up for relaxing, socialising and being able to keep an eye on the kids. After a week in the pool, our daughter was able to swim independently by the end! Thank you for your warm and friendly hosting: the welcome cheese, breakfast pastries, brilliant meal at La Tour de Montady, fabulous wine tasting at Saint-Chinian - it has all been so memorable and made the trip that much better. Other highlights have been many bike rides through the vines, a trip to Chichoulet Beach, discovering the butcher and pâtissière in Cazouls-les-Béziers and enjoying the local produce by the pool every evening.
Extremely well maintained and attractive park. Thought the children's swings and loungers were really good for variety. Excellent facilities. Extremely responsive and discrete service which was excellent. Invaluable housekeeping and concierge service. Thank you!
What a beautiful spot. The view from the kitchen was breathaking. It made cooking in the super well-fitted-out kitchen extra enjoyable. We had a precious weekhere with the whole family, from young to old enjoying our time together. There were delicious meals, peaceful morgning swims, mad everyone in the pool swims. We enjoyed visiting Montcuq market so much and visiting the village fair nearby. We wish we had more time here. Thank you so much for opening up your house to us and creating such a well designed beautifully decorated space for people to experience.
What a wonderful week! The villa is full of elegant and eclectic touches and the outside areas are divine. The pool is just perfect and the shade was needed this week when it was very hot (but not as hot as back home - thank goodness!) Beziers is lovely and there are plenty of places to visit near by. Philippe - you were a wonderful host providing recommendations when asked and keeping the pool sparkling clean. The treats you delivered were fabulous as was the trip you organised to Saint Chinian. We have been renting villas in the south of France for over 20 years and we just say that owner of Maison des Communes has been the best host we have ever had. From the very generous welcoming gifts to the twice weekly breakfast deliveries to the excellent meal in Pourquoi Pas, he could not have done any more for us. Masion is ideally located, has a lovely pool and sturdy bikes. We had great fun cycling through the vineyards to Montady, capestang, Cazouls and also along the Canal du Midi. A great location for a group of friends on an extended holiday. Merci beaucoup.
Beautiful château with all amenities. Ann was extremely helpful with organising taxis, wine tours and any concerns. Very efficient in organising a new barbecue. Thank you for helping us have a fantastic holiday.
It was a wonderful property to stay in – everyone who stayed with us were very impressed by the house. It’s a lovely town too. The management people in Pézenas for this property were very helpful too. We are in the UK now and are missing the south of France weather.
What a fantastic week we had at Mas de Clouze. The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail like the towels and soap in all the showers. The woods proved to be brilliant for treasure hunts for the kids and of course we spent many hours at the lovely pool! All in all a great week! We’d love to come back.
