Château des Dragons is located in such a magical part of France....so beautiful. The chateau sets in an enchanted forest...just driving through the gates and up to the chateau takes your breath away. Our hosts Christian and Alla greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm. The chateau is perfect for large gathering and our hosts were so accommodating and eager to help with all of our questions and needs. They helped us secure an incredible private chef from Paris, as well as helped us find an incredible restaurant called Les Archives in Poitiers for our friends and offered great advice for things to do around the area. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. When we had the chef come to the chateau for our private dinners..they set an incredible table using their own collection of gorgeous china, added fresh flowers ..it really made the experience elevated. The rooms were comfortable and the common spaces very inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were so pleased. I would highly recommend Château des Dragons to any one and we hope to return for another stay some day soon.
We can honestly say that Villa Baleyssagues is the best property that we have stayed in in France. The photographs on the website do not really do the house justice. It is located in a wonderful elevated position, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The house is equipped to a very high standard with an abundance of crockery and cutlery. There were so many lovely touches, with fresh flower arrangements in several rooms and the best welcome pack we have ever had in our seven years of visiting France. Thanks Frédéric for welcoming us to the Villa and looking after us during our stay. Can you pass on our thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their lovely home.
We have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this beautiful house in divine location. The garden is filled with wildlife and we've enjoyed many an hour listening to the birds and watching the bumblebees and butterflies. My recommendation would be to sit back, relax and just take it all in.
Wanted to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your incredible house. How lucky you are to have that place - from the family photos, it looks like you have a lot of great memories from years gone by. We had a very relaxing time hanging out with our family at the house and thoroughly enjoyed pottering around the French countryside. It was just what the doctor ordered! So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. Everything about the property was better than expected. The rooms were large, clean and wonderfully decorated. The beds and linen were first rate. The kitchen and living areas were all well appointed and had everything you need. The laundry room had 2 washing/drying machines ! The salt water pool was wonderful and there was many pool toys, ping pong table etc. The area was wonderful for e-bikes that we rented and we enjoyed the charming villages all within short drive away : Cotignac, La Celle and many more. Thomas, the property manager was helpful and took care of our excursions. The property is very private with lovely views of the mountains and vineyards. Of course the vineyard offers wine tasting and cellar visit. We were 11 family members who could not have had a better vacation. Everything about Les Trois Maisons de Valescure has 5 stars (or 3 Michelins!)
We have returned! Even more enjoyable this year, weather and pool fantastic. The villa is close to perfect.

We've had a fantastic week in your beautiful home with all its attention to detail. Thank you so much – the pool table has been a great novelty, the sports equipment and bikes have entertained us for hour. We’ve loved visiting the bastides and swimming in the lake and the Lot.

Our 2nd visit to Mas de Lozanne and it certainly didn't disappoint. The extreme heat curtailed some outings, but the pool area was a haven! We still managed daily coffees in Café d'Art and a couple of early evening drinks. We made good use of the barbecue. Pezanas keeps on giving and this house, nestled in the vines, is a delight! From the moment I arrived at Les Cazettes, I was completely mesmerised by it. Every corner of the villa has the most beautiful architecture, thoughtful design and authentic charm in every detail, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Each room is a masterpiece. We loved this peace! Thank you so much for making our week here the best we have had ever in France. All your help and tips made a perfect week to us. We can certainly recommend La Route du Sel. Bike rental from Gennes was also a great way to see La Loire. Thank you also for keeping the house and garden so beautifully. We hope to come back!
We are back from a great week in Maison Soulette in Thézan-les-Béziers. The house was just as pictured and described, perfect for our family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, good kitchen and cosy sitting room. The terraces, the garden and the view were all beautiful. The weather was sunny and warm, so we spent many lazy days outside by the swimming pool. Our daughters made full use of the heated pool and had a lot of fun playing table tennis.
A fitting venue to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our four children, their husbands and wives and our grandchildren! Memories that will remain for years. Well provided for, comfortable and panoramic views -with a week of excellent weather! Thank you and your staff!
Beautiful and large residence decorated with care composed of a house equipped with 2 living rooms, a large fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and as many bathrooms upstairs. A gîte outside with 3 bedrooms and living room, a magnificent convivial room with table tennis, billiards, fully equipped bar and home cinema. Mark, despite the distance, is very responsive and sympathetic. One of his friends came to make sure, the day after our arrival, that we were properly installed. The house is well placed to visit the surrounding villages: Bergerac, Issigeac, Boucle de la Nette, Château de Biron, Villareal ... To be redone in the summer to take advantage of the majestic swimming pool! We STRONGLY recommend!
One week was NOT enough!! What a wonderful spot! The Loft was a perfect base and location for relaxation. The garden is lovely and we made good use of the boules court. Cycling by the Canal du Midi was lovely and we enjoyed a walk up behind Caunes-Minervois to enjoy the wildlife and sculpture park. The weather was perfect sunshine to allow some activity.
We had a wonderful family holiday, the house is beautiful and had everything we needed. The outside area is simply perfect. The children loved the pool and the garden. Good restaurants nearby. Thanks for everything.
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.

A fantastic week at this beautiful villa! we appreciated the warm welcome from Frédéric and the fresh flowers in nearly every room. We made full use of the pool and BBQ and enjoyed watching the sunset in the evening. It is a shame to leave. Thanks!
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making our holiday at le Mas Repenti such an amazing one. We all had a fantastic time and made some great memories. Alexandra - your house is amazing and all the tips about what to do during our stay were super useful! We had a lovely stay with 14 adults and 4 little ones (10 months - 3 years). For starters, the pool: big enough, seats for everyone and enough shadow. The patio: magnificent view, spacious, enough shadow under the big tree and a covered dining space with both a BBQ and a plancha where we had all our meals. The house: perfect to our needs. Bedrooms with space for beds for the kids, almost every room had a private bath room and more than enough space. We had two days with bad weather, no problem we split up in groups where one group could play one of the available board games and another one playing the available PS and another one playing together with the little ones. The kitchen had everything and there was an extra toilet for use during the day. On top of this, there was a nice pétanque range, ping pong table, pool table, basket ring with all supplies available, more than enough parking space (we had 7 cars).
Wonderful house. Thank you for our wonderful stay. We were a large party of friends looking for somewhere scenic to spend a week together. We were excited when we booked but over the moon when we arrived to the beautiful house. The space works really well for a large group of people with multiple areas to comfortably sit and hang out. We had some delicious dinners and breakfasts (cooked in the well equipped kitchen and BBQ) out on the deck and the view made them even more magical. Even though the house is wonderful to relax and play in the pool in we found some lovely things to do in the surrounding area. There's a wonderful restaurant right by the house and kayaking and wake-boarding about an hour drive and some nice villages not far. Overall if you want a place that feels private and scenic and is still functional and comfortable then this an ideal place. We hope to come back soon!
Our stay at Maison Baleyssagues was prefect for our week in May was brilliant. A very spacious and exceptionally well maintained and equipped villa. Fantastic swimming pool and grounds. The property manager Frederic was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We can honestly say it was one of the best villa’s we have ever stayed in.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week. The accommodation was first class, very well appointed, bright and spacious with comfortable beds. The pool was attractive and inviting. There were plenty of areas around it to sit, lounge and relax, surrounded by beautiful blossom. There was plenty to do in the area from perched villages to golden beaches. The owners were friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive. We would certainly recommend a stay.
