One of the best family holidays we have had, spacious King sized beds. A truly amazing space with all the creature comforts of a high end home.
We have been visiting France on a regular basis for very many years. In more recent times we have been searching for a place that we might return to, and return to; a home away from home. We need look no more. The Loft is beautiful and a testament to great care and wonderful taste. The garden is inspirational, Mack and Mabel are a delight and Rieux is just what we had hoped for. Above all we think that we have been fortunate in meeting such kind and wonderful hosts who we now regard as friends. In summary our whole experience has been truly exceptional.
Thank you both so much for your kindness and warm hospitality. You have a lovely home and we have enjoyed our stay so very much. We enjoyed the pool area and eating alfresco!

Very nice house, clean, newly refurbished and nice design both inside and outside. The view is amazing, Mougins is a nice village walking distance from the villa where we found amazing restaurants as recommended by Jane. Highly recommended for family or group of friends. Thank you!
Absolutely delightful rural but cosy atmosphere with everything you need. Well equipped - sunshine by the pool and warmth by the fire when the evening cooled. Already looking to secure dates for next year.
Wonderful house full of character. My family had so much fun in the sparkling clean pool. All was laid on in the house and everything so clean.
Truly wonderful holiday. We had a truly fabulous 12 night stay in Château Limousin. We were 3 families comprising of 6 adults and 8 children (from 3 to 9 years old). The château and its grounds including the large gated pool are extremely well maintained and everything you could want. The owners were very nice people and extremely welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday... we’d all highly recommend it.
Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites! Thank you again.
Just a brief note to say a big thank you for letting us use the property for 2 weeks. The house is very well kitted out with lots of information on hand. During this week we visited Gordes and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The area is gorgeous and we will be back.
We have just finished a very relaxing and enjoyable two week stay in Mas Saint-Martial. The house was very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. The garden is large with plenty of shade to enjoy when the weather is warm. The pool is one of the nicest we have enjoyed in any of gites we have stayed at in France. Long enough to swim for exercise and comfortably warm. The owners live in the adjacent building and were very welcoming and able to advise about local shopping, restaurants, but not at all intrusive. This is a quiet corner of rural France, but there was plenty to see and visit locally, with easy access to bakery and shops and good restaurants nearby. Some of the best value was the lunch in the local restaurant in Saint Martial.
Amazing! is the word. The Loft itself, you as hosts and the location. Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. Your warmth and hospitality exceeds expectations - we cannot thank you enough. We will look forward to returning to continue exploring.
Magnificent property, super equipped, very large swimming pool at a perfect temperature, exceptional grounds, tennis court in perfect condition, well-appointed and comfortable common areas... Hard to beat for a family vacation! The place is perfect for children and less young people... Very clean, comfortable, very pleasant, excellent communication with the owners. The best!
You have transformed this building into the most wonderful house and more than that, into a welcoming and comfortable home, in which we feel privileged to have been guests. We lacked for nothing (except maybe a little more soleil and a little less vent). Everyone who came to stay with us expressed their appreciation in a similar vein. Thank you so much. Our stay here has been most enjoyable. The villa is very comfortable and a pleasant mixture of modern and antique décor. The pool has been used every day, even though the weather has become a little cooler at the end of September. Bessan is well situated for visiting lots of interesting places. Well, when Beverley told me she wanted to bring our children and grandchildren for a 'once in a lifetime' holiday, to celebrate our forthcoming 50th wedding anniversary in October, I must be honest I was negative and full of foreboding! But... Domaine de Nérige! Wow, what a place Bev found while I was moping around saying this won’t work. Not only was the location, 'in the middle of nowhere' absolutely perfect but the house was just beautiful with every facility we could possibly have wanted not to mention Sandie and David constantly going the extra mile if we needed advice. Thank you both for being the perfect hosts. We have not one negative word to say about this beautiful property - the rooms were comfortable, cooled where necessary with AC, the plethora of bathrooms is nothing short of extraordinary. Showers perfect and the supply of local wine and your own olive oil is truly the nicest touch. The games room, the space for kids to play on the terrace culminating in the fantastic pool was everything kids and the whole family would want. We didn’t need to leave here and, in fact, we probably did spend more time here that we would have in a 'run of the mill' villa. So finally, thank you to you both. We would love to see you both again but it would not be with such a heavy group of 'hangers on' although Bev’s decision for us to all be together this year was an inspirational one which worked perfectly. Everyone LOVED it.
This is my second visit to the beautiful ‘Rusty Shears gite’ hosted by Kirstie and Russell. From the outset our stay was just perfect. We were made very welcome and even had welcome drinks upon arrival. This was a special visit for my mums birthday and Kirstie even baked a cake, which was absolutely delicious. The gite is immaculately presented and the interior is simply gorgeous, with sumptuous cushions, uniquely bespoke painted furniture and house plants that compliment the gite’s luxurious eclectic style. The outside space is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the nature that surrounds the outside space. They have thought of everything; an outside eating area, complete with overhead sails to stay in the shade, corner sofa area complete with parasol to stay in or out of the shade, a bbq area with small outside prep area, hot tub and even 4 sun loungers. The location is set in the countryside so expect to drive or cycle to the local vineyards and restaurants but rest assured Kirstie and Russell can recommend plenty of places of interest and even arrange cycle hire or restaurant bookings if preferred. All in all a really tranquil long weekend away that offered us plenty of tasty local food, vineyard visits, rest and relaxation in the sunshine. If you’re an animal lover then you’ll also appreciate Kirstie’s love of animals too and if you’re lucky you’ll get to taste a freshly laid egg from ’Cluckingham palace!’ A truly wonderful space and warm welcome that will encourage you to return. A gem of a holiday find - we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you Kirstie and Russell for your hospitality during our stay at Rusty Shears gite and for making great memories!

Beautifully renovated Villa. Well equipped kitchen, large pool and lots of ensuite bedrooms. Has everything to keep you entertained whether it’s full sunshine or rain. The owners were super helpful and always a text away if we needed anything. Small town nearby and a big supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful holiday at Maison Emz. Jacky and Anne are the perfect hosts, being friendly, helpful and keen to allow us to have a good vacation. Maison Emz is a beautiful house with excellent facilities and is beautifully decorated and equipped. The outside spaces and pool area provide a lovely environment to relax. The house location, in a quiet rural area but with the good local town of Goudargues and other interesting towns and villages within easy reach, is a great place to enjoy two weeks in the sun.
Well to start with I had such a great time at Villa Kali, the pool is utterly fabulous and the beds are comfy! I love the nature / fig trees / lizards / frogs and more! Luckily France was hot. I love the table tennis, its great. Visit the town centre, great shops. We went to the beach and got a little sunburnt - Whoops! Great holiday, hope to come again.
For once, the house was better than the photos ! Quality and tasteful interior and magnificent garden. Well maintained pool. Lovely countryside walks nearby. Great local restaurants. Don't miss a visit to Minerve, a traditional Cathar town. A fabulous holiday.
Lovely house in an ideal situation. We had a wonderful time doing a little exploring but mainly lying by the beautiful pool. It's an ideal design to sit in and cool off. Two minutes walk for croissants in the morning and Rose wine in the afternoon - the Supermarket! We agree its a 5 / 5.
