Just wanted to let you know that everything is perfect at Maison Carel. The villa is beautiful with fantastic facilities. Thank you for organising the fans, they have come in very handy.
Thank you for all your kindness, warmth and hospitality. We have enjoyed everything especially all the butterflies (14 species) and the beautiful woods.
Our week of vacation spent in your property was a success. The house is spotless, very, very clean and with a lot of attention (welcome products in the bathrooms, recent and clean linen, welcome basket, games). The barn with the ping pong table, darts, table football, billiards and where we could play sports, is wonderful. The long walks around the vines with Tutus delighted me, despite the showers. The Super U in Mirambeau has a very nice butcher's department. The meat is excellent. The fish department, with its oysters, shrimps and fish is also excellent. Tracy goes to great lengths to keep everything spotless when the vacationers arrive. The bouquet of fresh flowers on the table when we arrived was another attention that everyone noted.
We’ve had an amazing two weeks at this gorgeous property. On arrival we have been overwhelmed by the beauty of the house. It has been lovingly designed to a very high standard and certainly has the “wow” factor on arrival. Frédéric and the staff were very helpful and made our stay very special. Perfect family retreat First time visiting Charente and we could not have been happier with La Charmante Distillerie. It was ideal for my grandparents with bedrooms on the ground floor and easy walking to a beautiful terrace and pool. The Gite is located in a forest and the views are stunning. The focus on sustainability was good to see, especially all the fruit trees and herbs for cooking. Mark’s attention to detail was superb and he was so helpful with recommendation and local knowledge. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend as a tranquil getaway.
Fantastic villa. Villa Chiavari is and has everything one could wish for! Located perfectly with stunning views over the sea and great sun exposure throughout the day the villa provides high quality amenities only. Air condition, great BBQ, TV room, plenty of kitchen utilities and not to mention a great pool. We were 4 families in total but still had plenty of space. The villa is very child friendly (apart from the pool which always requires supervision anyway). There are plenty of beaches and good beach restaurants within 10 - 20 minutes driving distance. Shopping facilities are a bit further away so make sure to buy weekly supply first time. We hope to come back soon!
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The villa is light, airy and spacious. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, everything worked and there are beautiful views from the upstairs terrace. The garden is very attractive. We loved having four bathrooms. The booking process was easy and efficient. We were confident that if there had been a problem, Ian, the very pleasant property manager who lives nearby, would have quickly sorted it out. The newly installed Wi-Fi was very dependable. With the restaurants in the village and the beach not too far away we didn't need to travel very far from the house - besides, the garden and pool were too good to leave for long! There are also some lovely walks in the hills behind the villa. The heated pool was the icing on the cake as we could swim on the couple of cooler days too. Even my 85 year old mum went in. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and we would love to return.
We have returned from a great week at L'Auzina. Just to let you know everything worked perfectly. Thank you for all your help. We will definitely return to Cucugnan soon.
What a stunning place... couldn't fault. Peaceful yet close to village and 10 minute drive for supermarkets. Pool area is just perfect.. plenty of shade if you need it... or lay out in the summer sun. Everything and more that you need for a fantastic holiday.
We have rented this villa for a week and have not been disappointed! Everything was arranged by the owner to answer our queries prior to our stay and so that everything goes smoothly. The house is very nice, clean and renovated with good taste. The heated swimming pool is a must. We do recommend the property!
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We had a pleasant stay in a very quiet villa. Spacious and very well equipped house. Magnificent region with grandiose sites. Thank you for the excellent welcome you gave us.
The most enjoyable part of France. The most enjoyable stay in “luxe” villa. Highlights: fresh veg from Duras market on Monday. eating out at Eymet, almost any restaurant will do, but particular favourites are Cour d’Eymet and Château les Vigiers. watching the red kites hunting over the fields in the evening . The lizards and the geko on the patio. All in all a memorable experience.
Wow ! Totally surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail is amazing. This place is truly unique, the decor and furnishings are beautiful. The outside space is spectacular. I could ramble on for hours about our stay, not to mention all the incredible things to do in the surrounding area.
Swimming pool and area were kept clean and were well used (daily). The trampoline was an excellent addition for children. The toy room was very well stocked and used and all the cildren enjoyed the toys. We enjoyed some fabulous barbecues. the baby sitting service was a great bonus and the house in general was kept in top condition.
Extremely well maintained and attractive park. Thought the children's swings and loungers were really good for variety. Excellent facilities. Extremely responsive and discrete service which was excellent. Invaluable housekeeping and concierge service. Thank you!

Fantastic holiday in this fantastic mini-château. Having recently arrrived from California and staying with our French in-laws, it was a truly amazing holiday. Lots of eating, drinking, swimming, tourism and of course table-tennis. A bientôt.
We have had a brilliant stay - The villa is fantastic- kids have spent house in the pool and learning to play pool. Everyone has enjoyed it so much it feels a real wrench to leave. Hope we can visit again some time.

Once again, we had an excellent stay at Le Borghesia. The pleasant house, the large swimming pool, the view of Domme, the tranquility make this residence a very pleasant little corner for a quiet family holiday. Efforts are made year after year to keep improving the practical side... opening of the barn for easy access to the swimming pool and tiled floor. The materials are of quality. In short, we will come back with great pleasure!
We loved our stay at Camirout. Beautiful setting, comfortable house, great swimming pool! We are going home completely zen and relaxed.
Both properties were finished to an extremely high standard and provided luxurious and comfortable accommodation for all 15 of us (with some room to spare!). It was immediately apparent upon our arrival that a great deal of love and attention to detail has gone into making the domaine the place that it is and we felt very privileged to be able to enjoy everything that the property has to offer.
A beautiful home in a beautiful village, so much hospitality and the house had everything we needed. We did not want to leave! :) La Table de Jean is a much recommended restaurant, fantastic food and people. Lovely stay.
