We have been coming to the south of France for over 20 years and Maison Theron was the best we have stayed in. The decor, furnishings and bedding were such good quality, we felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel! The local housekeeper did an amazing job as the house was spotless when we arrived. Thank you so much we will definitely be back!

I just wanted to thank you for providing us with the perfect spot for our vacation week in Provence. We loved everything about your home, the surroundings and the people. As it was my first time to Provence, we had an elaborate plan to visit Aix, Arles, Avignon etc and whereas I am sure they are fantastic places too, however, we ended up exploring the lovely mountain villages surrounding your home and loved every minute. Thank you for leaving the details regarding bike rental and horse-back riding, in the end it was a bit too hot to do either but maybe next time?! The house was great in every way and we loved every attention to detail and your impeccable taste. Again, thank you for a wonderful holiday, we do hope that some day we can return.
My family stayed at La Barde for a fortnight in 2018 and we are returning with friends in 2019. The house is well set up to accommodate two families and a large number of children. The garden and grounds are particularly well maintained. The sitting room opens directly onto a lawn, which is great for supervising small children and the extended grounds offer loads of space for children to explore. The setting is quiet but easily accessible to Ribérac.
Magnificent property, super equipped, very large swimming pool at a perfect temperature, exceptional grounds, tennis court in perfect condition, well-appointed and comfortable common areas... Hard to beat for a family vacation! The place is perfect for children and less young people... Very clean, comfortable, very pleasant, excellent communication with the owners. The best!

We had a fantastic stay. The house is absolutely lovely, the pool and garden likewise. Sarlat is superb with its old well preserved center. We loved just walking around there and have great meals in the restaurants (there are plenty).
We had a wonderful time at the villa, it was even better than we hoped. If we return to the South of France again we will certainly book it again, if it's available. Thanks again.

The house is fabulous, well maintained lots of character and charm, but well equipped too for modern living. Beautiful pool and gardens and an exceptional host . We had plenty of sunshine so we were able to really enjoy the beautiful countryside and nearby quaint villages. A really good holiday, thank you.
A challenging end of year led to my very last minute search for somewhere special to stay for Christmas. We jumped for joy when your Loft showed as available for 8 days arriving on Christmas Eve. Throughout the five hour drive from Cannes, I stressed about finding a tree and decorations to make the holiday perfect. To my utter AMAZEMENT, the Loft had been fully decorated beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you so much for all your very thoughtful and generous touches. As a seriously experienced traveller, I can assure you that exceptionally few hosts go to the same lengths as yourselves. You made our Christmas very SPECIAL and, dare I say, UNFORGETTABLE! Incredible pool and extremely comfortable beds! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at your wonderful villa, it certainly wasn't long enough! We loved everything, the location, the spectacular views, incredible pool and extremely comfortable beds! The whole place was immaculately presented and you made us very welcome! From fresh pastries in the morning to a delicious meal at "Le Pourquoi Pas", you have gone above and beyond - and that, combined with the comforts and surroundings of the villa, is what has made this holiday so special. We all loved the comfort of the beds and quality of the linen, the faultless hot water supply and how clean the pool was. This villa really works, allowing us to have a stress-free holiday! Unusually for a rental, both the house and cottage are exceptionally stylishly decorated. Elegant yet tranquil, each space has a different but harmonious feel. It has all the comforts you could possibly want, including a well stocked kitchen, recently re-done and so thoughtfully laid out, it is a joy to cook in. The garden has been planted so prettily, as you look out beyond the sweeping beds of fragrant lavender, to the gently rolling fields beyond. The Persian garden is just ravishing, certainly unique and the water features most pleasing. The infinity pool is generously sized for those who enjoy their lengths, the water temperature just right. The property itself is tucked away at the end of a tiny, yet enchanting and very peaceful hamlet. It is in a corner of France which is heaven for foodies, spoilt for choice with plenty of markets, lovely produce and an excellent offering of local restaurants.
Three night weekend stay with friends. Very comfortable accommodation decorated to a high standard. Upstairs kitchen, lounge and patio looked over the pool. Brilliant. It was Bastille weekend and World Cup final. Lots going on in village square, bars and restaurants. Beach about 20 minutes drive - really nice with excellent restaurant. Shops and supermarket close by were very helpful. Visited Béziers and Narbonne about 30 minutes drive. Well worth the trip We had a great time and will definitely go back again!

I had the most amazing time with my friends at this gorgeous château! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, like out of a movie. The château itself is enchanting while still being super comfortable. We had a great time checking out the local towns and markets. Just such a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it!

What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.
We certainly had a restful and memorable holiday at Château Monjardin... the house and grounds are magnificent and provided a lovely quiet retreat that the whole family enjoyed.
Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.
We had a brilliant restful time at Villa Funel as part of a longer tour of France. The location of the property was so tranquil with a beautiful garden and pool to relax in when not out sight seeing. The furnishings, towels and bedding were of good quality and there was plenty of everything you could possibly need. Carole and Jean Luc were very relaxed, friendly and helpful but we really seemed to have the place to ourselves with not a soul in sight which was perfect. We hope to return one day.
