This is an idyllic luxury dream. A tranquil abode where resistance against rest and relaxation is futile. Welcoming in 2022 with Kate, Frans, their family and friends felt like home away from home with immediate family. They have created a home where you can freely engage in the beauty of this corner of France in an easthetic space curated to the highest level. We could class them as more than 'friends' - and definitely as 'MTFS'. The only antidote to departing is to plot the return and this has already begun.
Great feeling of space with plenty of room for children to play. Pool was superb and much used. The childrens swimming skills improved immensely. Thank you Takayla for lovely food and for accommodating late arrival and intolerances. Nick and Takayla were available and friendly without being intrusive. A fantastic time was had by all the family. Many thanks and looking forward to next year already.
This place is truly magical. It’s clean and spacious with scenic surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t recommend it enough!
We have just returned from Villa La Baronne where our family of 15 had a wonderful time! The villa is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It is in an ideal location, less than a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket.
Back home, I simply wanted to thank you very much for the exceptional welcome you gave us during our long weekend in Maureilhan. As we told you this morning, we had a great time at Maison des Communes – and we greatly appreciated your extraordinary generosity. With meals at the restaurant, cheese platter, wine and pastries, it was close to incredible. Certainly, we have never before benefited from such generosity when renting in France, in the UK or elsewhere. And as you well know, your home is just as remarkable, with a mix of styles and moods that make it as interesting as it is luxurious and welcoming. We really didn't want to leave this morning... So a big thank you once again and hopefully see you soon.
Piglet is the prfect spot to visit all the graet spots in the Vendée, our favourite being La Rochelle and the Belugas beach. There are wonderful touches of luxury at the house; beautiful linens, towels and bathrobes. Vouvant is a charming and beautiful village. definitely a fabulous find !
We have all enjoyed staying in your magnificent Maison Richelieu. The house and village of Richelieu is a wonderful location for exploring the Loire Valley which we have all done. The décor of the maison is fantastic and we have taken ideas with us for what we can do in our own houses when we return home. Thank you again for our time here!
Great vacation spent in Le Mas de Combet! Quiet house in the countryside with a superb pool. We were able to enjoy all the amenities on site. Thank you to our host for their excellent welcome and availability throughout the stay. We really recommend this property for a week with friends.
Beautiful house, view and garden with high trees and flowers in a quiet area. Nice shaded lounge area with comfortable sofas for 8 people. We all loved this house even if it’s far away from bakery and shopping.

This is an ideal holiday home if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are no other houses nearby, yet you are only a 10 minute drive from the nearby Bastide of Monpazier and larger town of Villareal, where there are shops, restaurants, markets etc. The pool is a good size and well maintained and the house is very well equipped. We have been coming to France for over 10 years and this is the only property which has enticed us back for 2 years running.

We recently enjoyed a very memorable and enjoyable stay. This luxurious property was comfortable, well presented and very clean. The views from the property are exceptional and the horizon swimming pool is everybody's dream. The location provides good access to Saint Paul de Vence and to the surrounding region and thus is a great location to base yourself and to see the local features.
Thank you so much for letting us stay here. It is an amazing house. Me and Betsy really like the swimming. We have noticed the pond with crabs and frogs, also we saw 4 deers. The house is so big, we love, love, love our room.

Lovely location with beautiful views in a quiet and peaceful setting. Fantastic facilities, the house had everything you needed and more, super swimming pool, lovely and warm, well maintained and enjoyed by all the family. Just a quick note to thank you for organising our week’s holiday at Domaine de Brugairolles. We had a great time all together and enjoyed being at the Domaine. Annoyingly the weather wasn’t very good which slightly changed the dynamics of the holiday! But we enjoyed visiting Carcassonne, Mirepoix and Limoux – it’s a very attractive part of France. The four houses are well appointed and comfortable. The swimming pool area with the fabulous kitchen/dining/lounging area is great. The kitchen has all one wants with lots of fridges. It’s the real highlight of the venue! We also enjoyed being close to the Vineyard, its restaurant and its separate bar. The walks too all around the vineyard and the sleepy village of Brugairolles are great. Another plus are all the sporting facilities. Zoe, the Manager, was extremely helpful, cooked and left us a delicious dinner on the night of our arrival and was generally friendly as was her daughter Melissa. Many thanks again for your help.
A fitting venue to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our four children, their husbands and wives and our grandchildren! Memories that will remain for years. Well provided for, comfortable and panoramic views -with a week of excellent weather! Thank you and your staff!
