The villa has entirely been renovated, very well designed and equipped. It is located in a small village only a few kilometres from Pézenas. Quiet and relaxing area. Excellent stay.
Thank you for the most wonderful month in Château du Marquey. This is the best house we've stayed in. The rooms are all beautiful and extremely comfortable. The grounds, pool and summer kitchen are magnificent. The two dinners by the private chef, Mylène and Édouard, were delicious and a wonderful experience in the gorgeous dining room. It gave us the perfect opportunity to dress up. The cycling for pensioners has helped work off some of the delicious cheese and wine. You and Philippe have been marvellous hosts, accommodating all our guests' various comings and goings. We will be very sad to leave. Thank you so much!

Wished we'd booked two weeks. We all had a wonderful week here and wished we'd booked two weeks. Enjoyed chilling on the terrace - especially in the evenings and watching the stunning sunsets. Pool was fantastic - we'd bought pool games and floats with us and just had fun! Sorry to have to leave, enjoy your stay!
A family home that will enchant you for a weekend or more. A large exterior with swimming pool and in addition, very well arranged where all the spaces are wonderfully well thought out and decorated. A perfect arrival with recommendations on visits and things to visit nearby. An over-equipped kitchen and a whole bunch of practical utensils. The bonus, 9 bicycles are available to enjoy the surroundings. I highly recommend.

We just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your lovely house in France. Les Roches was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing, seeing something of the Southern Loire, and trying new wines. The pool, tennis courts, and gym were a big hit with the kids especially. Isabella, thank you for the personal tour of the winery, it was good to learn more about how you create your organic/low sulphite wines and the great knowledge shared while tasting a few, along with the ones we thoroughly tested during our stay The Femme Tour riding by the gates was a one off and such an amazing and friendly experience. We toasted with sparkling wine (Ampelidae of course) on the barrels set at the end of the drive as they rode past. Please say thank you to the so helpful Beada once again for her support and patience with our varied amounts of French. The ladies in the village bakery were also wonderfully cheerful each morning as we negotiated the language of French bread types. In all our joint family holidays this one got the highest score. As we watched the red sunset from the terrace on Friday, no one wanted to go home. Wishing you a good harvest in 2025 and all the best.

We have had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Many thanks for the beautiful house and views. We have enjoyed the pool, the sunshine, the fantastic pool and of course the piano. As musicians having a piano was important. To learn the house was belonging a famous jazz pianist was awesome! We have played jazz everyday and the sound of piano across the evening air was a dream. Thank you Frederick for looking after us.
A wonderful week at Maison Baleyssagues. The house is extremely well set up and equipped. We enjoyed cooking and eating at all of the dining spots inside and outside. Some of our party even swam in the pool, though the season was over. We also enjoyed walks in the surrounding countryside and three terrific day trips. We highly recommend La Table de Catusseau- imaginative and exquisite. Thanks to Frederic for his excellent support.
Thank you for letting us stay once again. I wish I could stay longer! I love playing in the garden - it makes me feel really happy because it has lots of space to play in. Plenty of room for the whole family. Lovely outdoor dining area with scenic pond. BBQ was great. The swimming pool area was beautiful, very clean and child friendly. There was enough seating in all spaces for the whole family. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The villa is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday—an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. The villa’s location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, it was the perfect place to spend our 30th anniversary! The views are amazing, village charming and the pool well used. Thank you also for the cold meats, cheeses and wine on our arrival, a really welcoming touch. We would definitely recommend a day kayaking to Pont du Gard, a really good way to spend the day, hats, suncream and picnic a must. Again, a very big thank you, we would love to return one day.

What a stunning place... couldn't fault. Peaceful yet close to village and 10 minute drive for supermarkets. Pool area is just perfect.. plenty of shade if you need it... or lay out in the summer sun. Everything and more that you need for a fantastic holiday.

Maison de Saint-Jean is beautiful and very well equipped. We've had a wonderful holiday. Enjoyed the spectacular views. The pool was fab and our boys loved it!
