We have loved your home so much and have only began to absorb the beauty of Le Mas de Téjat. I know we will leave your home, recalling the marvellous memories created here. It has been a breath of fresh air from England. The pool is huge and refreshing in the fabulous heat here in France! Your exotic artwork bring the place to life, sparking many conversations. We will miss the stunning view, ethereal in the sunrise/set. We will remember this house forever and don’t want to leave! Again, Thank You.
As anticipated, it was as wonderful as last year and we have all had a splendid time and are sorry to have to leave. Thank you so much for your wonderful Loft and your hospitality. We are all looking forward to our visit again next year.
Merci bien! Thank you for letting us share your beautiful home. We have lazed around the pool and stunning gardens, played badminton and bought more shuttlecocks! We managed to see our friends in Brinon-sur-Sauldre, visited Saumur (seen the Château and fireworks for Bastille Day) and managed a dinner locally too. Thank you for your fabulous hospitality. (We have also watered the little pots near the garden door, everyday, the flowers in and out of the house have been stunning!) Merci bien and au revoir!

Comfort and good taste reign in this house. Fields as far as the eye can see, the Dordogne just a stone's throw away. We feel good in this family home. Quality services. The owners have ensured our comfort and have provided us with good recommendations to enjoy the wonders of this region.

Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely villa. The elegant surroundings of Baleyssagues helped made our holiday here in Duras very relaxing. The hillside settings was the perfect back for to stunning sunsets, sunrises and shooting stars. It was a shame to leave...

A lovely family week in this perfect house in an idyllic situation on the edge of the charming village of Cucugnan. The house is well-equipped and the pool is fabulous! The barbecue and table-tennis also much appreciated. The house is a short walk into the village where we visited two bars and an excellent family -run restaurant (Auberge du Vigneron). Also enjoyed ‘Burger Friday’ at the bar. The village shop has all the basics. We also did a ‘degustation’ (wine-tasting) in the village and visited two of the nearby fascinating Cathar Castles – there is plenty to do in the area but the house is also perfect for relaxing. We will be back!

Very good stay! There were 8 of us: everything went very well. The house is pleasant and conforms to the description: the 4 bathrooms are appreciable!
We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.

We had a wonderful time at La Cottage. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, and instantly felt relaxed and at home. We loved all the little touches — there was nothing we needed as it was all provided. The cottage and gardens are beautiful and were the perfect environment to totally relax for the week. The pool was something else and made the holiday so much more special. We will definitely be back!
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. We have returned again as promised and, despite the worst weather we have experienced in France in over 20 years, we had a lovely time. Even indoors there were still plenty of things to do in the sheltered area to sit and play card games, or challenge each other to a game of table tennis in the barn. A very comfortable and well-equipped house. Thank you for your kind hospitality and we hope to return again soon!
I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Villa Bellara. It was immaculate and is perfectly positioned to access to supermarket, patisserie, beaches and numerous quality restaurants and a short walk to the train station - which we used most days to visit other coastal resorts. The villa was considerably larger than we expected and was well equipped for our stay. The quiet residential location was a bonus after having busy days out. All in all a perfect property. The house worked very well for our 3-generation family of 5 adults and 2 children. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area is capacious, with a good tv and sound system. All the windows are protected by screens to keep the mosquitoes out. At the back of the house is a useful room with a washing machine and a large outside clothes line. The pool was excellent. The adults used it to cool down, the children played safely and grew in confidence in the water (with the reassurance of a pool alarm.) We had a 2-year-old with us, who mostly paddled in the shallow section. Shade was always available somewhere in the garden, either from trees or the canopy on the sun terrace. The garden is totally private, with a wooded hill to the left. We ate outside in the evenings, using spray and candles to repel the mosquitoes which seemed to be attracted to pale English people. The villa is very well located for visiting Cassis, Marseille and Aix. We also travelled to Arles, Avignon, Les Baux and Nice. The lake at Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon provided a swimming opportunity and some of us visited the waterfall at Sillans-la-Cascade near the beautiful village of Cotignac. We can recommend a boat trip to see the Calanques from the harbour in Cassis and La Ciotat is lovely. We mostly used a supermarket 10 minutes away by car in Greasque, which also has a good boulangerie. We found excellent cafes in Fuveau (Caribou) and La Bouillabaisse (The Coffee House). Aubagne has a large ‘out-of-town’ complex with a massive Auchan and a range of chain restaurants. We found a very good pizza van in Gréasque (although they do move around so Google Maps was not reliable). We were welcomed on arrival by Juliette, who also returned to clean the pool half way through our stay and to collect the keys when we left. She was very helpful in recommending places to visit.
We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful holiday at Maison Montjoi in south-west France. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, and they made sure everything met our needs throughout our stay. The charming cottage was tastefully furnished in a French country-chic style and had everything we, as a retired couple, needed. The spacious garden had comfortable seating and dining options as well as a luxurious, well-maintained pool to cool off in after a hot day sight-seeing. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque with gently, undulating wooded hills and arable rich valleys. Rivers, lakes and canals also criss-cross the region providing many options for cycling and walking. Dotted around are medieval bastide towns and villages which are well worth exploring: Puymirol, Lauzerte and Moissac. Our hosts tipped us off with excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to dine at. Our favourite restaurant was La Cage aux Oiseaux in the beautiful small hamlet of Mountjoi, minutes from the cottage. We also enjoyed the traditional Tuesday market in Valence d’Agen and the jazz night at the friendly café in Castelsagrat.
The house is great. Lovely warm pool, table tennis table, huge grounds, lovely area, lots of culture nearby, nice local town with excellent market.
Villa du Château was an excellent property, very central to the village. It was well organised, with great bedrooms and linen, and the kitchen was well stocked with every cooking utensil you could need. The pool was great and very private. Claire, the owner, was on site to greet us, which was lovely. We would highly recommend a holiday here.
The view was stunning. Our family had a wonderful time in this beautifully modern design house.
