Thank you very much. We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The house was magnificent.
Delighted to be the first guests of the season in this magical house and garden. The week went too fast of course but we enjoyed the market in Ribérac. Visits to Bergerac. The owners were great hosts.
This lovely home, just on the outskirts of the old historic town of Pezenas, is everything we hoped it would be. A short stroll into the town centre with bars, restaurants and bakeries a plenty! All offering great value ! Aside from the location, the house is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms. A lovely sitting area outside for outdoor dining. The sun is over the pool and on the sun lounges well into the evening. The Games room was well used and a great area for teenagers to have space for themselves. The area has much to offer, something for everyone to enjoy! Walking, cycling or lazy days on the beach in Sete or Agde (both offer water sports).Kayaking in Saint Guilherme de Desert or wine tasting in La Croix Belle or Picpoul (neither to far from the house.) The market day on Saturday is fabulous! Thank you to owners and managers!
Cannot say enough about how relaxing and wonderful was our holiday at Mas Saint Cernin: from the quality of the accommodation, to the fantastic location, the brilliant pool and the warm and helpful welcome from John and Lesley. Three generations spanning the under ten to the over seventies loved every moment of our stay. We all enjoyed the pool and the grounds with all the interesting things to see and do on the doorstep. We aim to return but think we might want to book early to do so!
Thank you so much for the most amazing weeks stay in Piglet Barn. We honestly had the best time, a perfect family holiday. Thank you for being the most welcoming, warm and charming hosts, you looked after us so well. Thank you for drinks in your home, it was so much fun. We are going to miss our walks around Vouvant and morning coffee in the village. Thank you again so much for being the most amazing hosts, it was a holiday we will never forget. Second stay in this magnificent house, it is still such an enchanting place. The nature of course is splendid but the interior space and the layout are really of high quality. The rooms are particularly spacious, the bedding is perfect, the decoration combines old and new in a very harmonious way. The common areas are very well appointed, special mention for the table football in a cool lounge which the children enjoyed. The kitchen is large and stocked with more than the basics. The swimming pool is completely secure with a very handy sliding opening system. We will come back with pleasure.
We had such a fantastic stay at Maison Lanave. We loved the house, pool, location and surrounding area. It was really a special trip. David and Kirstie were so great at making us feel welcome and giving great recommendations for wine tasting, night food markets and local restaurants during our trip. The pool area and outdoor BBQ is fabulous for big groups, BBQs and meals. It exceeded everyone's expectations and the photos really don't do the property justice. We loved it!
Excellent holiday stay, villa wonderful, spacious pool, fantastic for weather. Host Lisbeth very helpful, nothing too much problem, always contact by telephone, only used to confirm departure. Wow, wow and wow! The views are wonderful with the gorgeous sunsets. The whole family have loved all the facilities, particularly swimming in the multi-coloured lights at night.
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
We have spent 2 weeks at lovely maison Charvin in Montlaur. This was our first trip to Languedoc-Roussillon, Occitanie. We realized at once when we arrived that this was the right house for us. It is so beautiful, carefully restored and homely decorated. Everything was spotless and clean. A bottle of local wine waited as a gift and we feelt so welcome. Books to lend all over the place. The kitchen had everything we could ever want and more, we loved the Italian stove. The outside area is fantastic, very private with the turquoise pool to cool off in. Even our teenagers feelt relaxed and happy just being there. Montlaur is a little village with friendly people. There is a shop, a bakery, a boucher, a pharmacie and a hairdresser. What else do you need? We spent our time reading, sunbathing, swimming and doing daytripes. Thanks to Sharon we ended up in all the right places, like the wonderful restaurants in Lagrasse, really nice both of them. Its perfect having a private guide who is so nice and engaged as the owner Ms W. She wanted us to get the most out of our vacation. Even borrowed me one of her favourite books with a little note; you might like this! Thank you ever so much Sharon, for opening your home to us, we are so happy that we found this little piece of heaven.

You have been excellent hosts - helpful but never intrusive. The Loft is a lovely place to stay - stylish, comfortable and very well equipped for a baby. A cool, wet start to the week was more than made up for by Karen's delicious cake! It has been such a pleasure discovering this corner of France.
Thank you for a fabulous holiday! You have a beautiful, well-appointed villa with all mod cons and loads of fun distractions to occupy the younger members of the family - pétanque, pool, table tennis, croquet, swimming and baby foot. The weather was unremittingly hot but your beautifully air-conditioned house provided welcome respite. We would strongly recommend this to our friends.
Back again! We loved our stay here so much we decided to come back and it did not disappoint. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed both local walks (marked maps provided at the house). Impressive thunder storms and lovely blue skies. Would recommend Castres, Revel and Hautpoul for local trips (all within 30 to 40 minutes drive).

An amazing house with everything we needed for a family of 3 generations to get together. Spacious, well appointed and beautifully decorated, great swimming pool and surrounding gardens. Close to the main square full of restaurants, bars and shops. Evening and weekly markets in the town were lively and well worth a visit. Our host was welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We would certainly recommend. Fabulous!

We spent a night in this pretty villa lost at the bottom of the woods and vineyards during a wedding evening nearby (Franco's estate, also a superb place). We were quiet (and for good reason, no neighbours around). The villa is very well equipped. The bedding is excellent. Wonderful.
What a lovely place to spend two weeks relaxing and enjoying each other’s company, the views from the table are a wonderful backdrop for every meal and the swimming pool has given hours of fun for the children and adults alike. Nyons market on a Thursday and Saturday was great with lots of variety and wonderful hustle and bustle. We would love to visit another time.
Very pretty new hotel, charmingly furnished in the beautiful wine village of Meursault. You can get to Beaune very quickly, but Dijon is also easily accessible by car. Very nice, warm hosts.
We had a wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux, my retired parents and children aged 8 and 11 had a truly relaxing stay with plenty to see and do locally. The house had plenty of space inside and lots of different areas outside to eat and relax. In particular we enjoyed spending time outside in the Moroccan terrace and kitchen and especially the evening when Ian and Hugh cooked for us when we took advantage of this as an extra option. Ian and Hugh were super helpful informing us of the local area which suited all ages so there was plenty to do for everyone. I would recommend hiring a car to explore the beautiful villages. The pool was well used in such hot weather with plenty of space for us all to relax and read as well as splash about with the children. The area was lovely and quiet so we were all able to switch off and spend quality time together as a family, plus with Ian and Hugh nearby we felt we had our own personal concierge service! They also provide a very useful guide which is in the house and also sent before our arrival. There has been so much attention to detail carried out in and outside the house and Ian and Hugh were fantastic with our many questions we had as we loved hearing about the work that went into it. We absolutely loved our time there and our 8 year old is now asking for a dog the same as Oscar! Thank you to Ian and Hugh for giving us such a memorable holiday, we felt truly spoilt staying in such a beautiful and well refurbished traditional house and can't wait to return one day!
