Stunning, really well maintained and clean. Feels very safe for our young family. Very well-thought-through facilities for an inter-generational group. Great use of pool, playroom, BBQ, dining areas. Delicious and varied menu enjoyed by all. Good interaction with hosts; always available (even with chocolates!). Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and hope to return.
A wonderful place for a family holiday. The house is perfectly stocked; really no want for anything. You have thought of it all, extra bits in the kitchen, games, great chairs by the pool. We loved every minute!
We have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this beautiful house in divine location. The garden is filled with wildlife and we've enjoyed many an hour listening to the birds and watching the bumblebees and butterflies. My recommendation would be to sit back, relax and just take it all in.
We can't wait to go back! A chateau with some serious wow factor, this beautiful home in Burgundy was the perfect setting for our family holiday. Luxurious but also wonderfully laid back, it had every possible amenity - tennis court, swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, gas barbecue, DVD with full library of movies, games room, etc – allowing us all to relax, unwind, keep everyone entertained and also treat ourselves. Would highly recommend hiring the local chef too for an extra special treat. Can’t wait to go back!
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fantastic home! After a warm welcome we managed to settle down to enjoy all the facilities and the actual location of this beautiful area. We stayed here during early August. The property is out in the countryside and provided a very welcome quite location for a relaxing vacation. The property has character, built in traditional stone and has extensive grounds to explore. There is a wonderful view of the Château de Biron from the front of the property. The château is well worth a visit and if you climb to the top you can pick out the property in the distance. The pool is fantastic and we spent many hours by and in the pool. We had great fun playing water volleyball. The house has all amenities that you want, although the Wi-Fi can be slow, but this has to be expected out in the country as I explained to my children! If staying here in the summer, take a walk just before sunset, out the drive and turn left. Just down the road you will catch some great sunsets and you are likely to see lots of deer at the same time. Visit Monpazier a few miles away. It's a great place to find a restaurant and wonder around this beautiful bastide town.
We had an absolutely wonderful week at Maison D'Aze. It is a very special house with fantastic views over the valley. The pool is amazing.
Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.

You have a beautiful, well-appointed villa with all mod cons and loads of fun distractions to occupy the younger members of the family - pétanque, pool, table tennis, croquet, swimming and baby foot. The weather was unremittingly hot but your beautifully air-conditioned house provided welcome respite. We would strongly recommend this to our friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Absolute Heaven. My family, fourteen of us from 70 to 1 year, had a memorable and joyful two weeks at Manoir Alvère. The house and grounds are magical. An easy walk takes you into the village and there are many very good places to eat within an easy drive. The owner made the process of checking in and out easy; the caretaker Georges was onsite in case of any problems. I envy anyone who finds themself in this very special place!
This flat was wonderful. Location is great, 5 minute drive from Beaulieu, 10 minute walk to train station. Coffee and snacks right at the edge of the property and a few restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet area. Right on the water. This flat had absolutely everything we could want to enjoy our stay. Kitchen is a nice size and has all amenities. The two bedrooms were great. Dining area and living room were spacious and comfortable and the balcony was large and nicely furnished. Washer and dryer were convenient to have. Communication with Ben and the owner was easy. The place also came with beach chairs. The only clarification I’d make is that the bathroom is one toilet, one shower and one sink.
Tortoise name suggestions:- Sherman Victor Esio Trot (anagram for tortoise + book +TV show!) Sheldon (The Big Bang Theory TV). We have enjoyed a wonderful week in your stunning house. Mostly enjoying the weather and pool! We have seen the red squirrel, lizards, water vole and many birds. It's so peaceful and beautiful, we will miss it.
We had a wonderful stay! The grounds are very spacious and we received a warm, friendly welcome. The gîte was well equipped with everything we needed. The WiFi was externally disrupted before and during for our stay but the owner had already organised an alternative, which was much appreciated. The pool was fantastic, with lots of pool-side paraphernalia to use, and we also enjoyed making use of the gym. The owner kindly provided us with fresh eggs and delicious, meaty courgettes – such a treat! Their young Bernese dog is absolutely adorable, though still very much in training and at that cheeky teenage stage. All in all, a lovely stay, and we’d love to return one day.
Le Clapier was absolutely beautiful, I’ve been going to France for the last 30 years on holiday and your house was head and shoulders above anything I’ve ever stayed in……The area is amazing and it’s a place that me and my partner want to buy in at some point. We loved the gift pack that we received when we arrived – very thoughtful.
We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. Our stay at Maison Baleyssagues was prefect for our week in May was brilliant. A very spacious and exceptionally well maintained and equipped villa. Fantastic swimming pool and grounds. The property manager Frederic was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We can honestly say it was one of the best villa’s we have ever stayed in.
We have had a lovely peaceful time here. The house has been beautifully and thoughtfully done. The mountains look wonderful in the early morning. Fascinating, if hot, excursions - Cathar castles, abbeys and restaurants - a lovely area to explore. Thank you very much.
We had a lovely lazy two weeks by the pool! With the hot weather the air conditioning was very welcoming at night time. We have used Pure France several times over the last 6 years and this villa has definitely been the best equipped and most accurately described. 5 / 5.
My husband and I rented this charming house for 2 weeks in August with our 2 young daughters and we are already planning a return trip next year! Firstly, the pool is stunning. It's huge and spotless and we could barely get the girls out of it! The house is big and spacious and the newly decorated bathrooms made me feel like I was staying at Soho House! The house is situated in a lovely little town on the Canal du Midi. There is a huge wine shop next door and several bars and restaurants within walking distance on the quay. We had day trips to the beach at Gruissan and Leucate which were stunning Mediterranean resorts and barely 40 minutes away.
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
We have all had an amazing 3 weeks stay in your beautiful house. Our grand children have all learned to swim in the pool and we have all enjoyed our days out in this lovely part of France. We can't thank you enough for giving us everything we could wish for in a holiday home - you have thought of every home comfort. We will be recommending this as the best place to stay for all.

I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It really is a little corner of paradise in a spectacular part of the world. We have been exploring, we spent the day at Abbaye de Fontfroide; followed by the Narbo Via Museum in Narbonne, finally ending up at the salt flats on the l'île Saint-Martin de Gruissan.
