We had a lovely holiday at Château Perigord and are now sadly back in the UK.
Great villa at a perfect secluded location! Perfect for large families or groups of friends. The house is equipped with everything needed for the perfect getaway. Large open spaces for socializing and kids play. The view from the terrace and pool area is simply stunning! Super attentive local service and support.

We have just finished a two-week family trip. The house was simply great! Excellent facilities and the air conditioning in the rooms is a real life saver. The property is eccentric! And there are so many small terraces and places outside where we found that we never sat. The location is great for day trips and we enjoyed swimming in the pool after a busy day. We were a group of several generations and everyone loved it! The neighbourhood is great and within walking distance. Local bakery, local fruit and vegetable stand as well as access to supermarkets. Thank you for your unforgettable stay!
My family and I had a fabulous time during our week in France. It really was exactly what we were looking for and expecting.
An excellent villa - with everything one could need including a good selection of herbs in the garden for those who enjoy cooking. Pézenas is a lovely place - lovely potteries (some going home with us) good restaurants and bars - spoilt for choice. Delight to discover that the description is perfect. All in all a 5 star holiday.
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.
We recently enjoyed a very memorable and enjoyable stay. This luxurious property was comfortable, well presented and very clean. The views from the property are exceptional and the horizon swimming pool is everybody's dream. The location provides good access to Saint Paul de Vence and to the surrounding region and thus is a great location to base yourself and to see the local features.
We had the most amazing time here! Wonderful location and accommodation. The views are breathtaking. Check out the Grand Cafe d'Occitanie and Carcassonne is a must see! Thank you so much, a bientôt!
We have had the most wonderful time in your lovely house, it feels incredibly homely and I can see why it is your pride and joy.
Magical, inviting, soothing, AMAZING! The villa was truly magical, while also invoking a sense of home. The community areas are large enough that you never feel crowded and there are several places to "hide" within the property for true soul searching/peace with a magnificent view at every turn. Very well maintained and quaint restaurants/shops just a short walk away, but not too close(you still feel tucked away). HIGHLY recommend!!
We've had a great week with our two kids, 7 and 3. Wonderful pool, we also loved the outdoor kitchen area. We really enjoyed Chateau Bonaguil – simple but just the right size for our kids. Aux Étangs du Bos – we had a great time on the water slides, inflatable course and other activities! A short trip to Monflanquin was enjoyed with a crêpe! Thank you for being a great host Pete, it’s a great gite!

Thank you for letting us stay once again. I wish I could stay longer! I love playing in the garden - it makes me feel really happy because it has lots of space to play in. Excellent stay at your home, everything is admirably organized to quickly experience the house and the region. The swimming pool is a marvel. The garden and the house are well thought out with the superb view, not overlooked. The house is at the same time very close to the village, 10 minutes on foot, so the best of both worlds. Bravo for the notes, information, games etc. Everything is very practical and easy to use.
Just a quick note to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday at Mas de Lozanne. Beautiful house, well looked after, close to the fabulous town of Pézenas with some brilliant weather. The place was amazing, we went with 2 other families 6 adults 6 kids under 5. Loads of games, toys, trampoline and climbing frame to keep the kids entertained. Lovely spaces for adults and the pool was brilliant. Looking to book again next year. Thank you for a great week.

Fantastic barn conversion, amazing location and wonderful facilities including a large swimming pool. Would highly recommend. The owner was super helpful throughout. The local villages have all the shops and services needed. We loved the rolling hills for jogging.
We very much enjoyed our stay with Anna and Michael. The house is conveniently situated in a small hamlet, close to the beautiful town of Monflanquin. Our kids loved the pool and the variety of toys to play with. We absolutely recommend this accommodation.
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Stunning château in rural France. In August this year we made our 3rd visit to Château Velouse with a group of friends and once again had a wonderful time. The first time we flew to Paris and hired a car but found it more economical to take a ferry - crossing to Dieppe last year and Calais in August. Easy drive on all occasions. Location is in a beautiful rural area steeped in history and close to the Loire with its majestic châteaux and extensive forests. Medieval Bourge, only a few miles away, is very well worth several visits – the acoustics in the cathedral are amazing. The surrounding area is reasonably flat and so an ideal centre for cycling on very quiet roads and off road tracks. The communal areas and bedrooms in the château are impressive and very classy. The pool area is an ideal centre for complete relaxation. Pool is clean and well maintained. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly - very attentive to our needs and not obtrusive. Well worth a visit.

Thank you! We have spent a glorious week at The Loft, which feels like a home away from home. You have been fabulous hosts, and your suggestions of places to visit and vineyards to try have been spot on. After ‘confinement’ in Paris for many months, the pool was a joy. We love the garden and it’s shady spots and enjoyed Mack and Mabel’s company. We can see why people return to this wonderful place, and we hope to be one of them very soon. We had an excellent stay in this magnificent house where everything has been thought out so that young and old can make the most of the holidays. We were a group of 3 couples and 4 children and each got enough space and privacy. The house is very beautiful, well decorated and pleasant to live in. The garden is very beautiful and the pool area is perfect! The barn converted into a games room was also very popular (especially since the sun was not there). The kitchen is fully equipped. In short, we highly recommend this rental!
