We had a lovely time in a beautifully converted villa. So much space for relaxing and the kids to roam free at the table tennis out building or down by the pool. We had a lovely stay under the mulberries this summer. The house is well located near the river Aude where we had a lovely day kayaking and a short cycle ride from several lovely villages and markets. Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.
The house and the grounds were fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc. comfortable. The kids loved the swings, etc + the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. Catering service was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Very friendly service, nothing was too much to ask. The owners are never on top of us but there if needed. Much appreciated. Fantastic holiday, thank you.
We have absolutely loved staying here! We have enjoyed the beautiful sunsets, laying by the pool and preparing meals together. Chef Arnaud was wonderful and we highly recommend him. We visited Duras, Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Saint-Émilion, Sainte-Foy, Bordeaux and Cap Ferret. Coming back home here at the of the day always felt like home and we hope to visit again. This is our 10 years anniversary and this home was great vacation for a special trip together. Thank you for sharing your house.

We have enjoyed a lovely holiday, this beautiful home has been and absolute delight so comfortable and peaceful. Enjoying lunch outside in your splendid garden has been a favourite past-time.
What a beautiful home. The gardens, view and pool are simply stunning and we have had the most beautiful, restful holiday gazing at the view, enjoying the amazing pool and the delightful sofa which was a great place to hang out in the shade of the Mulberry tree. Marianne [housekeeper] has been marvellous – we enjoyed canoeing on Le Dropt and a trip to Eymet, otherwise we have everything we needed here!
What can we say? The fabulous ‘Loft’ is exceeded only by the warmth and generosity of you the hosts! We will return!

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and we felt very lucky to be able to stay. We were lucky with the weather and swam every day after market trips. The house is one of the (if not the) best we have ever stayed in and we are making plans to return when we can.

Almost a month of rest at Château Seyches, enjoying the serenity and silence of the countryside. We love old stones, which tell a piece of French history and Château Seyches did not disappoint us. We were very happy to spend our holidays and to relax here thanks to the silence of the countryside. All the best.

Great Country Home in Domme. Eight of our family recently spent a few days in the Dordogne region greatly enjoying our home away from home, well located in Domme. Le Borghesia was a beautiful, very impressive and very old home renovated and appointed for today’s lifestyle. It is well located in a lovely country setting. Checking in and out was seamless. I would definitely recommend Le Borghesia to other travellers.
Many thanks indeedfor letting us share your wonderful cottage - it made for an excellent week! Torn between seeing the countryside, castles, vineyards and markets versus walking, canoeing or swimming, or just relaxing in the garden beside the pool ; too much choice! Thank you also for the bottle of fizzy on our arrival and the personal touch of roses in every room - all were much appreciated!
Your house has been such a beautiful place to spend a week of our holiday. We've loved every minute - so much so that we didn't go far from Le Chambarru. The attention to detail was fantastic - from the decor to the 'welcome basket' to our name on the gate. The only thing missing was that we only stayed for 7 nights. I think I can speak for all 11 of us in saying we had a wonderful holiday at La Barde once again. I'd never been so early in the year before (in May), but we still used the pool every single day. The advantage of coming a little earlier this year was seeing your garden in full glory and the Dordogne before being 'bleached' by the sun - and we really enjoyed burning logs on the huge open fire in the kitchen every late evening (it's normally too warm for this!). Everything was just right, Helen, as usual (and beds even more comfortable than last time)! I always enjoy the mixture of authentic farmhouse and stylish chic design of La Barde. And it was as peaceful and relaxing as ever - batteries are recharged!
We've had a wonderful week, lounging by the pool, playing table tennis and pool. All great for teenagers. Vinsobres so lovely and only minutes away. Good trips out to Vaison-la-Romaine and Nyons. Thanks for a great week!
Lovely place to stay, enjoyed being able to walk to the cafes and shops. Highlights; cycling to Chinon own hire bikes. Lovely walk through vineyards to the soap museum/shop. We had some extremely hot days (37 degrees) so went to Lac du Grezillé. Loved Saumur and Chinon, highly recommend Château Bréze.
Our stay was perfect, the house was spotless, all the comforts we needed and everything was new. Eva advised us on lots of things, the contact was perfect, always attentive and caring. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.
We stayed at Villa La Baronne for a week in early October. We were blessed with good weather and the surrounding area is beautiful and historically very interesting. As for the property itself, Villa La Baronne offers every possible amenity a guest might wish for. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The living areas are spacious and inviting. Outside the garden is lovely and has ample space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The swimming pool is of a great size and in cooler temperatures it is heated. We had a lovely time and the hosts were exceptional. Can't recommend this villa enough. Book it while you can!
