We very much enjoyed our visit to this area with its wonderful beaches and gorgeous scenery. Your warm welcome on our arrival helped us to settle in to this beautiful villa and it is obvious you have spend many years in furnishing it. A home of which to be justly proud.
We had a great time with the family at Helen's home! We enjoyed the idyllic setting of the house overlooking Margon Castle from the pool. Pool also very nice. The accommodation was extremely well equipped, it had all the essentials to have a good stay and make the most of the potential of the house. A little extra for the fans in the basement bedrooms, which allowed us to sleep without the great heat. The large table outside allowed us to have our meals together, enjoying the beautiful sunshine. We can recommend this great house, Thank you!
Terrific house with fabulous views, close to town. Our family of five had a perfect holiday. The house is spacious, filled with light and very well appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces a lot, including the pool, the large terrace with stunning views and summer kitchen. It was easy to get to grocery stores and activities in the region. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to the village and explore the area. We all enjoyed walking or jogging on the path by the canal, accessible from the garden. We highly recommend this property!
We had a fantastic week and would well recommend for future visits. Lovely pool - big. Great dining area for eating. Excellent view. Thanks for everything!
Magnificent house, very well located which allows walks, coffee breaks and joie de vivre. We highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time in this lovely château with a great pool and a wonderful garden. Highly recommended. We loved our stay with you and thank you again.
This is the second time we had spent time at this property so we were a bit more familiar with area. I struggle to think of a better location to holiday than this area of Provence, it has everything, beautiful countryside, restaurants, vineyards and historic villages. One eats outside all the time as the evenings are warm and balmy and in this respect this property is blessed with a superb view looking across the valley to Vaison-la-Romaine and the Dentelles in the distance. There is complete privacy with the nearest neighbour being a considerable distance from the house. Inside the house is spacious and beautifully laid out contrasting with its former farmhouse origins. If you want relaxation but with loads to do in the area then I really cannot think of a better place to stay for a summer holiday.
Very good and great stay! Quiet and relaxing property, ideal for several people. Nice welcome and very good recommendations nearby. Thanks again!
Great holiday. Great accommodation, fantastic hosts, wonderful holiday. A very impressive château in huge grounds make this a great venue to relax and unwind. Each room has a unique character and there is a huge kitchen. Highly recommended.
We had such a wonderful time at Château Périgord and Jean-Marie made our time there even more enjoyable. I do hope we can return one day as a family and hopefully with slightly warmer weather! Many thanks again for such a wonderful stay at your beautiful home.
Very nice accommodation. Host is very friendly. Maison Joigneaux is a perfect place to stay when visiting the region. We couldn't have wished for a better place to spend our extended weekend with friends.
What an amazing mill. Fitted to an outstanding standard - a true home away from home.
We had a wonderful week here. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished and the view was simply captivating. We particularly loved the changing colours on the mountains during sunset. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you'd need for cooking on a large scale and the beds were extremely comfortable which was a major bonus. We spent the week pottering around the many smaller villages and towns close by and visiting markets in Gordes and Bonnieux and the boys made an excursion to Marseille to watch the football! We loved every minute of our stay and would love to return one day.
It's been such a privilege to stay in your beautiful home. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to enjoy it. We enjoyed experiencing the art, the atmosphere, the views and the comfort. We really appreciated your very generous gift of wine and provisions. The village is lively and we have made good use of all it has to offer. terrific choice of the alimentation, delightful terrace and delicious food at the Bar de Prores and a timely haivent at Tiffany's Satin. We recommend a trip to Uzes, Nîmes and Avignon and had a delicious lunch on the banks of the Gardon at Colias on the way to the Pont du Gard. Also, do try the real wine from La Grappe d'Or in the village.
This beautiful, secluded cottage is in the grounds of a historic house, both of which have been painstakingly restored by our hosts. It contains all you could need for a self-catering holiday, although there is an excellent local restaurant in the village, only five minutes walk away and others in local villages. The large private swimming pool is an added bonus. We used this as the base for a week's exploration of the Dordogne. Thonac is plum in the middle of the historic / pre-historic area of the Dordogne; the caves of Lascaux, famous for the pre-historic cave paintings, are just down the road and there are numerous ancient cave settlements nearby. A little further away, you can visit the castle at Castelnaud and its fascinating collection of ancient weaponry. We also ventured as far afield as Périgueux and Rocamadour, carrying out an in-depth investigation of the local cuisine as we went. To cap it all, Caterina and Steve are wonderful welcoming hosts, more than happy to chat about the history of the property and potential outings in the local area and keen to make sure their guests have everything they need. Highly recommended. Finally, I would like to thank you and everyone at Pure France for the excellent service you have provided this year and am looking forward to another successful year with you.
Thank you so much for letting us stay. It's been absolutely incredible, from wine tasting to taking walks with my husband. I genuinely cannot wait to come back. (hopefully soon)!
The most perfect location for a peaceful and restorative family holiday! Children and adults alike kept entertained by the games room, toys, amazing pool ... we so appreciated how well-equipped and thoughtfully designed the house is - it became a running joke of "is there anything this house doesn't have?!"
We have had the most magical time here in your beautiful home. Happy memories that we will treasure.
Fabulous villa with view. Staying at the property made our vacation unforgettable. We were a group of 8 and the house was plenty big enough for all of us adults. The terrace with the pool was unbelievable. We spent many evenings dining and laughing and enjoying the beautiful view which showed the city of Grasse in the distance sparkling. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. Every amenity was available. The owners were so helpful with any question. We can't wait to return to the Côte d'Azur and this house.
Very atmospheric, beautifully quiet, well equipped villa. Great pool and ideal for a large family stay. Nice market found 9 km to the left, at the bottom of the hill. Great local scenery, walks and bike rides and easy driving! Pool is fantastic and clean. Lower floor really cool when it gets hot! We've all had a great relaxing time!
We have had a really lovely week at La Maison Cabanon. It was great to feel home from home here. All the children relaxed straight away. We had a couple of cloudy days so went to Baux de Provence. Saint Remy de Provence market (Wednesday mornings) and explored L 'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - all nice things to do. But we mainly enjoyed the fab pool! Beautiful surroundings, lovely atmosphere. Thank you.
Beautiful house and area. So good we've already booked for next year. Good food at La Lavalette and the School at Vendoire. The restaurant in Salles Lavalette also good. Aubeterre pretty but you need to book a meal in August! Thank you Jerry!
Enchanting place! Very pleasant hosts caring and a very clean place. I recommend without hesitation!
My family had amazing stay here. We have 2 young kids (aged 1 and 5) and the apartment was clean, secure, modern appliances (including washer/dryer), ocean view and beautiful infinity rooftop pool. The bedrooms were a good size, easy to use temperature controls air conditioning and black out shades. A crib and a high chair were available at the apartment. There is a large supermarket/everything store across the street and the apartment exits right on the beach boardwalk, so easy walk to the marina and beach restaurants. I hope we get to return soon.
We had the best holiday at Maison La Gouronne! We were not sure what to expect as we drove to it as it sits tucked away along a rough track amongst grape vines. We arrived to a nice friendly welcome from the owners who gave us a tour of the property. It's a huge home with lots of terraces and places to sit with the bedrooms all contained on one side of the house with air con and fans. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy. The owners live in the gatehouse near the entrance to the property but we never saw them except for when the pool cleaner went in late one evening, so they are very unobtrusive. I can't tell you how much we all enjoyed this property, we normally go out visiting places during the day but apart from one trip to Valras Plage and to Carrefour, we didn't leave! The pool is really big and was the perfect temperature as it enjoys the sunshine for the majority of the day. There are lots of great sun loungers and big sun parasols that were always in use, we really appreciated the high quality of everything they have put in for use. There are easy lounge chairs around the terraces to escape the sun and enjoy the shade and a lovely table with lots of chairs and comfy cushions at the front of the house where you can sit and enjoy the early morning shade and the evening sunset. The back terrace has another large dining table with an excellent gas BBQ under a wooden overhang for shade. The kitchen is certainly well stocked (we enjoyed the bean coffee machine every day) the fridge is large and the kitchen generally has lots of everything you need. A separate laundry room was great to freshen up our towels and swimsuits with a line outside to dry them. A Carrefour is a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes drive away with a much larger Carrefour about 12 minutes drive away. We have rented alot of places in France and this is our favourite home by far, we would (and intend to) return in the future. Oh, we also had great takeaway pizza and a bottle of wine from the nearby Serignan!
We just wanted to say we had a wonderful time at the beautiful Richelieu home. Maybe the most beautiful and well appointed vacation rental we have ever had. The property manager, Dawn, was very helpful throughout our stay. We hope to come back again someday.
A fantastic stay in a beautiful villa! Whilst parts of France may lay dormant, this region has tons of activities to offer Canoeing, walking tours of picturesque Pezanas, renting bikes at Lac du Saligou and if you're slightly odd a cracking gym 'area gym' just down the road.
