We had a great stay in this great house. The house is very well equipped and we are very well received. The house has lots of games (billiards, ping-pong, electric train, hut ...) for adults and children, you won't be bored even if the good weather is not there. Finally the swimming pool is large and heated! In short, a great address! Thank you!
Thank you for a wonderfully stay at a truly gorgeous villa. We had a really fabulous time and we definitely hope to be back. The weather has been splendid and the swimming pool was absolutely stunning. It lived up to everyone's expectations, in fact it exceeded them.
We had a superb 11 day stay in Fitou. Everything was as expected when we arrived - the property has everything you would expect and more when travelling with young children - in our case a 10 month old as well as 2½ year old twins. The car beds were a huge hit with the twins! The village of Fitou is also really nice - there are over 10 wines caves selling high quality local Fitou. There are also some excellent restaurants - would recommend Vidals if you are taking the kids. Outside of Fitou, Perpignan, Narbonne and Carcassonne are all realistic day trip options and the resort of Leucate is also good for a more traditional seaside ambience.
An amazing house in a part of France which is so rich of culture, beauty, villages, churches, fields of sunflowers and I must say, it is difficult to leave the house... real stylish home. The kitchen inspires to cook, the outside place gives you the opportunity to swim, read, eat, enjoy the sun. The bedrooms, mattresses and linen and perfect.
What an amazing chateau you have, breathtaking; everything that we needed and more. We have enjoyed 1 wonderful week, wish it could have been more. Julie, Paul and Steven - you have been fantastic, always on hand for advice and support and ideas. Especially enjoyed our ‘feast’ in the Dining Room celebrating Alan’s 70th birthday with laughter and some lovely memories that will stay with us all forever. Would love to return at some point in the future - if you’ll have us back! We will miss you. XXX

Superb house that has preserved the charm of yesteryear. The exteriors are beautiful with a huge garden and woods adjacent to it. We had a very relaxing stay with our friends and children. So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. We travelled to this beautiful villa with friends for 6 nights and our stay was truly wonderful. We were fortunate with the weather most days so managed to enjoy some of the many amenities the villa has to offer including swimming and sunbathing by the pool, playing croquet and pétanque! We also ate outside on the veranda every day, enjoying the BBQ and the good weather. The villa had so much to offer. We had two days when the weather was not so good and were kept busy by the games rooms downstairs – we made great use of the pool table and projector for playing music, movies and watching sports, it really was a lifesaver on one particularly cloudy day. On arrival the villa was clean and the villa handbook was most helpful to support us settling in, additionally the host was quick to respond and always willing to help with our queries. The villa offers great privacy with peaceful surroundings and allowed us to relax away from others. The village is a short walk away and we enjoyed lunch there on our final day at the restaurant which is also worth a try. On specific days there were gourmet food trucks that stopped by in the village offering various sweet and savoury items – we tried the crepes which were lovely and a nice treat after an evening walk around the river and church in lovely Buzet. We loved everything about the place, I would highly recommend this to both friend groups and families.

Just back from a week's stay at Villa La Baronne. I understand this is a newly renovated property and it is very clear that no expense has been spared on the project. It is a large property that could suit more than one family or a group of friends and can sleep up to 14 people. Every detail has been lovingly considered and stylishly executed. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings and comfortable beds. The house has been designed to offer endless activities both inside and out. We were lucky with the weather for October and so were able to use the huge and stunning Swimming Pool, the Jacuzzi, Pétanque pitch and the specially installed Croquet Lawn. In the evening, we took advantage of the cinema and games room, playing pool, table football, ping pong, chess and darts. A brilliant house for families with teens! There is even a huge TV, especially for use with games consoles. The house has a beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with every gadget you could require. Although we didn't use it, there is also a BBQ for evenings on the huge terrace. The property is situated on the banks of the River Tarn and is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and a large garden. It was a very quick and easy drive from the airport and local amenities for food shopping. The local village, a ten-minute walk away, was very quiet but does have a pleasant local restaurant and within a few minutes by car you can access larger towns. In less than 40 minutes we reached Toulouse centre and the beautiful town of Albi and I gather there are many other attractions within an hour from the property. Although we were briefly aware of a party at the neighbouring property, we found the location very peaceful, with lovely dark skies at night for star gazing. The Wi-Fi was extremely good and there is plenty of parking. All in all we would highly recommend this property, which is of the highest quality. Our thanks to the charming hosts.
This was not our first visit to La Barde and yet again we have enjoyed a wonderful family holiday. The house has such character whilst being both spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well resourced and the sitting areas both inside and outside comfortably sit 10 people. The garden is beautiful and filled with an array of varied and colourful plants and shrubs whilst the pool is large and cleaned regularly by the owner. Yet again we enjoyed some lovely days out to Saint-Émilion, Brantôme and Cognac to name a few - and of course some pleasant evening drinks in Verteillac. Thank you - we have treasured memories of a fantastic holiday!

We love the design and build of the house and have enjoyed our stay here with our family enormously. The pool has provided a great deal of fun for all and there is so much opportunity for relaxation and enjoying all the local produce!

We have had a great stay in this beautiful house in the most beautiful area. We've swam, played ping pong and cards against Humanity! We've all been up the fortress Tower and kayaked down the rapids!
