Lovely retreat set amongst fruit trees. We stayed at Maison Meunier for the middle week of a three week honeymoon in France. After spending the previous week in Paris it was the perfect contrast allowing us to slow the pace down a little and put our feet up. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and helpful offering advice when required. They're based on site but away from the property in the main buildings. The accommodation itself is lovely and really well equipped with everything you could ever need. Outside, the pool is great for cooling off during sunbathing and the view from the terrace is beautiful with quince, apple and fig trees between the property and the nearby lake. We spent most evenings cooking on the barbecue with the fabulous local produce we picked up from the market or supermarket. Nearby there are a number of châteaux to explore and also traditional bastide towns to wander round and grab a coffee or cold glass of champagne. All in all, a lovely stay at a lovely place. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
We had a fantastic 5 days at the lovely apartment. The location was wonderful being 30 seconds from the beach and also having access to the roof top pool (in an adjacent building). There was easy access to a train line (20 minutes flat walk) or bus lines. A supermarket with a 5 minute walk was a bonus. For eating out there were lots of choices with a 10 minute walk offering a range of different choices. The view from the apartment was lovely with a view across the bay towards Nice. The apartment was everything we wanted. Beach activities were plenty from jet skiing, sailing to snorkelling etc.
Amazing space of the house led to us having the best family holiday ever for 9 adults and three young children. The outdoor areas are equally fantastic, the pool, Japanese garden with pizza oven was greatly appreciated and we would love to come back and see our host Katie again.
We are returning guest since now more than 5 years. We love Villa Baleyssagues and Frédéric ! We love everything in the house and all the different changes/improvement in the house due to new ownership. Pool remain the same with its impressive shape ! The only negative point is that the house is rapidly fully booked !!!
We have absolutely loved our stay in this perfect house. The pool has been a necessity due to temps in mid-high. All in all, it's been a wonderful fortnight and we've enjoyed rediscovering places that we visited here 20 years ago.

We have just returned from a month in France staying at Domaine de Laure. We had a simply lovely time. Before we went, we did have some reservations about the fact that the property was attached to the owners house. We really do value privacy and experience has indicated that this can be compromised when this is the case. In fact it turned out out that we had the best of both worlds - help whenever we needed it - Pierre and Benedict were charming - and total privacy at all other times. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The king size beds and English TV were a bonus. The pool was clean and well maintained. But for us, it was the location and the total peace that were particularly special - even better than the photographs. The views were beautiful and the grounds very spacious. The only intrusion was the gentle tinkling of goat bells…magic! We have no hesitation in highly recommending Domaine de Laure.

Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites! We are back from a great week in Maison Soulette in Thézan-les-Béziers. The house was just as pictured and described, perfect for our family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, good kitchen and cosy sitting room. The terraces, the garden and the view were all beautiful. The weather was sunny and warm, so we spent many lazy days outside by the swimming pool. Our daughters made full use of the heated pool and had a lot of fun playing table tennis.
What an amazing castle in wonderful countryside. Three generations of the P. family - plus friends - thoroughly enjoyed their week in this peaceful place! Many thanks!
We've had a great week with our two kids, 7 and 3. Wonderful pool, we also loved the outdoor kitchen area. We really enjoyed Chateau Bonaguil – simple but just the right size for our kids. Aux Étangs du Bos – we had a great time on the water slides, inflatable course and other activities! A short trip to Monflanquin was enjoyed with a crêpe! Thank you for being a great host Pete, it’s a great gite!
Fantastic villa. Villa Chiavari is and has everything one could wish for! Located perfectly with stunning views over the sea and great sun exposure throughout the day the villa provides high quality amenities only. Air condition, great BBQ, TV room, plenty of kitchen utilities and not to mention a great pool. We were 4 families in total but still had plenty of space. The villa is very child friendly (apart from the pool which always requires supervision anyway). There are plenty of beaches and good beach restaurants within 10 - 20 minutes driving distance. Shopping facilities are a bit further away so make sure to buy weekly supply first time. We hope to come back soon!
Thank you to Pete and Kate We've had another wonderful stay at Le Tesquet. It has been our 3rd stay here and we love the gîte, the surroundings, the pretty villages and lots of good restaurants. Pete and Kate have been superb hosts and we could not have asked for anything more. We will be back next July.
We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. We spent 4 days there for a company offsite and were very happy with the accommodation. Everything is provided on site: a cinema room that also serves as a presentation room and great kitchen equipment for cooking in a large group. Especially the breathtaking view, and the terraces are unique. We would come back any time!
We had a lovely time. Such a cosy comfortable, peaceful place to stay. We are sorry to leave!
We enjoyed our stay at Chateau de la Manay. Virginie the house keeper was very helpful. The breakfast a welcome start to the day. Pool warm and well looked after. All 10 or so bicycles were used by all my family. We enjoyed predinner drinks in the Salon. 2 members tried the fishing and caught a roach. We also did the canoe trip and horse riding..
We have had a very good break in your house, which is incredible. The house is well equipped and superbly decorated.
Great place to stay and perfect for the three families we had on our trip. The children loved the pool and boules court and the adults loved sitting on the patio with a glass of rosé watching the sun set. Look forward to coming back.

We’ve had a wonderful week lounging by the pool and playing pool and table tennis, (all great for teenagers). Vinsobres is so lovely and only minutes away, Nyons and Vaison were good trips out.

Exceptional house in an exceptional setting! The house is ideally located, away from the tourist crowds with magnificent hikes nearby but close enough to Apt for basic needs. The house is as pleasant indoors in bad weather as it is outdoors the rest of the time. The kitchen is very well equipped. The host was available before the stay to advise us on all logistical aspects. An on-site contact was also made during the stay.

Villa du Château exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, and Claire’s warm hospitality made us feel at home straight away. What makes this place truly unique is the perfect balance it offers. You wake up to breathtaking countryside views, complete peace and quiet, yet within just a couple of minutes’ walk you’re in the heart of Duras, with its castle, cafés, restaurants, markets and local shops. The house itself is absolutely stunning—beautifully restored, full of character, incredibly spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Whether you’re relaxing by the private pool, enjoying long meals in the outdoor kitchen, watching the sunset from the terrace, or gathering with family and friends in one of the many living areas, every space invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. We were a multi-generational group, and everyone had an amazing time. Adults loved the peaceful setting and the nearby wineries and restaurants, teenagers enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the village, and the children had endless fun between the pool, the gardens and exploring the château. It is rare to find a property that is both so tranquil and so close to everything. Whether you’re looking to relax, explore, celebrate with family, or simply experience the charm of southwest France, Villa du Château is the perfect place. Fabulous time - lovely area. Enjoyed the markets, some great restaurants, playing water volleyball and drinking and buying lots of wine!
Thank you again for the wonderful time in this very nice location. Although it was our 2nd time here, there was and is still much to explore in Occitanie! One of the favourites was the canoe trip on the Orb river (canoe-tarassac.com). We can clearly recommend it to all future visitors of this holiday house. Not to forget the beaches nearby, Château Négly if you want to taste and purchase local wine, and last but not least the swimming pool.
Have had a wonderful holiday, very restful and really enjoyed the pool especially on a hot day. Enjoyed visiting Sète, Agde and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Would love to return on day. Absolutely loved the pool and the garden. Would recommend Les Polmiers and Pézenas is a beautiful town!
Such an amazing home in a lovely part of France. We had such a great stay. The house has everything you can think of in terms of comfort and cooking. We even had a raclette whilst we were there as there was a raclette machine! Sandie was a brilliant host and always there to help us, even at Christmas time. We couldn’t think of a better place for a family reunion. Lots of space indoors and also lots of outdoor space with many games, they all came in handy as we had to self isolate for 2 days upon arriving in France due to the latest rules. Even with small children who like to run around, we had plenty of space to have fun and play games! Couldn't recommend the place more.
