Fantastic barn conversion, amazing location and wonderful facilities including a large swimming pool. Would highly recommend. The owner was super helpful throughout. The local villages have all the shops and services needed. We loved the rolling hills for jogging.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Bellara. Jean-Luc is a great host and explained all we needed to know upon arrival. The villa is spacious and has all the facilities you’ll need. Its location is perfect - no need for a car: boulangerie, supermarket, beach and restaurants all within a short walk, as is the train station which allows quick and cheap access to other resorts along the coast. Would thoroughly recommend this villa.
An idyllic month! The farmhouse is lovely, cool inside and beautifully equipped. Everything worked perfectly, even the Wi-Fi for the numerous zoom meetings we both had in England. The summer kitchen and pool were a godsend, yesterday was 48° in the sun! Insane temperature but we coped well, including Harry, our black Labrador who always love being outside normally could hardly be dragged away from the cool tiles on the floor! Harry swam too in the Lot and various lakes nearby - very useful. We loved it so much, we are looking for a month next year. A huge thank you to Stéphane and Cathy (and Jean Luc) who looked after us and the pool and house so well. The area locally is so friendly and we have met some lovely people - at the Wednesday night market in Salles, walking Harry at 7 am in the morning (Mike, not me!) and on various visits to Monflanquin and other local bastide villages. 14th July celebrations last night were greatfun too. Vive la France! With many thanks again.
Thank you for letting us stay once again. I wish I could stay longer! I love playing in the garden - it makes me feel really happy because it has lots of space to play in. Sam has really enjoyed roaming around and playing with Mack and Mabel - I have too. Hopefully to see you soon in October and definitely next summer.

We are extremely delighted with this stay. Everything was perfect, we didn't miss anything. The estate is a charming place to visit, with very beautiful walks to take. We were able to benefit from their advice on activities and attractions nearby. The swimming pool is a plus. The house had all the equipment we could need, very comfortable bedding, functional kitchen… Thank you very much for your welcome!

Absolutely delicious property in a beautiful part of the world. The property is very well maintained and rustic. I can recommend to any group planning a stay in the Dordogne. Our stay was in mid April when the weather started to improve. 26 degrees on our last day, perfect!

Marie-Christine's house is ideal for a family, it is decorated with great taste, modern and airy. It has all the amenities and its location is ideal (supermarket, bakeries, shopping center, city center, train station, etc.) Marie is a charming person. She gave us advice and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend his house which is completely renovated. We had a fantastic holiday at Manoir Coteaux. The grounds were ideal for our children and dog to play and explore and the swimming pool was well and truly made use of every day, even on cooler days thanks to the heating! The inflatables were a much appreciated welcome gift and provided no end of fun. The BBQ area gives a superb evening view. We stayed in the main manor and enjoyed the property's character and charm, which had everything we needed. Special thanks to Tracey who prepared several meals in the manor for us to enjoy without hassle of driving to a restaurant. We did venture out a few times and highly recommend Le Lac restaurant at Argenton, especially as it welcomes dogs on the terrace. Elanor, Roger and Tracey really did tend to our every need and gave us good recommendations on things to do as well as sorting any issues we had. This was our first family holiday since covid had curtailed our usual regular holidays overseas. The location and ease of access for us from Jersey now makes a holiday in a rented home in the Loire a very appealing alternative to international travel and we felt quite safe everywhere we went with the measures in place, but also due to the ability to stay away from crowds and enjoy family time in a lovely property. We will almost certainly do it again.
Our family of 10 stayed here for a week and we loved every minute. The attention to detail in the chateau was wonderful. Everything we could have needed was provided. Philippe and Frederique were the most wonderful hosts. We highly recommend Chateau de Marquisat!

A family home that will enchant you for a weekend or more. A large exterior with swimming pool and in addition, very well arranged where all the spaces are wonderfully well thought out and decorated. A perfect arrival with recommendations on visits and things to visit nearby. An over-equipped kitchen and a whole bunch of practical utensils. The bonus, 9 bicycles are available to enjoy the surroundings. I highly recommend.
What an amazing experience, in a truly beautiful part of France (and new to us all). The house is lovely as well as the 360° views - magical! The kids loved the pool and we managed to get them out for food, sleep and car!

Our family has had such a wonderful time in this little oasis. The only difficult part of our stay has been forcing ourselves to leave the sanctuary of the house! Enjoyed a very relaxing family(plus dog) holiday at the villa. Philippe is a fabulous host, nothing is too much trouble. The additional touches such as the breakfast deliveries and the restaurant meal were wonderful. The weather didn't disappoint. (38°C), so the pool was much needed. Béziers and Sète are well worth a visit for the views and the food. All in all, just what we needed.
Watch out, as we are definitely starting to feel at home at beautiful Lamolene and surrounds. Thank you so, so much for our wonderful, special break.
Vero and Thierry have made this farmhouse a very pleasant house to live in. We loved the different nooks and crannies for relaxing depending on the time of day: Pool house during the day for meals, Moroccan lounge for aperitifs all around a large swimming pool. Everything is functional, clean and nothing is missing. The bedding is of very good quality in all rooms. Boules and darts games, a huge garden. We were a family with children (7 people in total) who were also won over. We highly recommend their house and will definitely be back.
Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!
