Fabulous house accommodating everyone in comfort, superb location and fantastic views. The family particularly enjoyed the warm pool and al fresco dining. Lorraine who greeted us was super friendly and helpful, responding quickly when we had questions. Highly recommend this property

We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in Sarlat. Sarlat and the surrounding area has so much to offer. We enjoyed the local markets, a trip to Chateau Der Milandes and of course canoeing down the Dordogne river. The location of the house is amazing, just a few minutes walk into the centre. With the first week of our stay the temperature were in the high 30s and the pool was an absolute godsend-a real highlight for us, we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the weather.. The house itself was great and met all of our needs for a two week holiday. Thank you Jackie for all your help answering all my messages. Will be back soon.
Beautiful home. A lovely house with gardens, exceptionally peaceful and private. Lovely pool and all the facilities. Saint-Alvère also a lovely village.
We had an amazing stay here in Narbonne! The photos you see are beautiful but the house is even better in person. It was so comfortable, beautful decor, thoughtful touches (like throw blankets, baskets for market, plenty of closet space with extra hangers, extensive kitchen equipment, more...), gorgeous lighting and cozy/high quality bedding (so important when travelling). We felt so at home and enjoyed our down time while in the house!The sunroom was our sanctuary during our stay... our reading room while there... the natural light is so perfect with the back sliding window open and the breeze coming in! Heaven!
We were able to have a great week with friends at this house, which matched the photos perfectly. The host is very accommodating and accommodating. Amenities are complete, different living spaces are spacious, the pool area is a real plus. I'd recommend it!
A wonderful return visit to Villa Kali and this beautiful area of France. Weather has been great all week with plenty of sunshine, with the pool providing much needed relief. Enjoyed visits to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Montpellier, as well as several trips to Pèzenas, particularly the ice cream shops! Enjoyed meals at Les Palmiers (quite expensive) and Chef Brasserie Chez Hansi (good value). Saturday market in Pèzenas worth a visit and Serignan Plage probably the best beach. The patisserie / boulangerie opposite Carrefour does great bread, croissants and gateaux. Look forward to a return visit in the future. Thanks for a great holiday! 5 / 5.
We had an excellent stay in March in this large, very well appointed and superbly equipped house to accommodate our group of 11 people. Beautiful amenities in the house, quality bedding and a paradise for children. With its large swimming pool, its two terraces and its numerous outdoor games, the area must be even more appreciated in the summer season. We highly recommend this rental, ideal for large families or groups of friends. We were able to discover an enchanting setting in the region. We enjoyed the calm and beauty of the surrounding countryside. Obviously, we couldn't resist the desire to taste the extraordinary local products (wines, gastronomy, etc.). An exceptional place in which we will return for a vacation.
Many thanks for a wonderful stay. You have made the place very comfortable and welcoming and so safe for children. So many interesting things to discover in the region to. In one word it has been the 'perfect' holiday for the whole family (10 of us!). We do hope to return, 'donc je vous dis à bientôt et mille mercis'.

Magnificent house, even more beautiful than the photos. Very spacious, very tastefully decorated (too bad we can't buy the decor). We had a wonderful week, both parents and children. Thanks to Steve for his smile and his good humor. We will definitely be back !!!
A fantastic place to be, hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gîtes are beautiful decorated and the view is stunning. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to book this beautiful domaine for a holiday again. I wrote a comment in the guestbook to encourage other people to spend their vacation at La Picholine.
After a two-year pause in our travel arrangements we couldn’t have been more delighted with our visit to the Loft du Vigneron. It was everything - and more - than we had hoped for. Fantastic Water Temperature. There isn't much to add to the previous reviews except to say, thank you Denise and Michael for a great week. To be able to walk straight from the house into the pool and not have to brace yourself for the water temperature was fantastic! The apartment was wonderful with real attention to detail and of course everything was spotless.
We spent a week with two families (9 people) aged 6 -70 in Le Mas Repenti and we had the most wonderful time. It is nestled in the glorious vineyards with views of the hills in the distance. The house itself has been lovingly restored and every inch is perfectly presented. Stunning furniture, decorations and soft furnishings. It is charming and yet completely comfortable – the master bedroom is like the best suite in any hotel! The grounds are beautiful and the boules pitch and swingset were a big hit with the children. The pool is perfect with plenty of loungers for everyone and a great pool house area for getting some shade and having a drink. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. Every pot, pan and serving dish you could ask for along with plates and glasses for an army! The terrace was wonderful and the huge table very accommodating of our feasts. We did not experience much intrusion from bugs, other than a few mozzies who battled through our Jungle Formula! We loved the local vineyards – several within a 5 minute drive. Our favourite was the rose from Château Beaumel. Highly recommend this home for an extremely relaxing and authentically French experience!
Fantastic place. Peace and tranquillity and magnificent view from the balcony. Proximity to a private beach. Perfectly equipped kitchen, large living room. I highly recommend it to everyone. This is the easiest and most satisfying review we've ever written. Quite simply, Mark and Gary are two of the warmest and thoughtful people we have ever met and they have created the most wonderful home in the perfect rural location that it almost seems too good to be true... but it isn't. Everything about La Charmante Distillerie encourages you to unwind and relax... whether it be the sumptuous and luxurious interior spaces, the pool and adjoining terraces giving shade and privacy or the surrounding woodland and rustle of the leaves on trees in the gentle cooling breeze. Early mornings and evenings were our particular favourite as we would just sit and listen to the silence whilst enjoying an espresso or cold Pineau. It was truly idyllic. Our daughters, aged 12 and 14 years old, were so happy playing in the pool for hours or relaxing on the terraces and in their own private snug that has been beautifully created. We would love to keep La Charmante Distillerie as our own little secret and not share it with anybody, but of course we can't. So regretfully we have to tell anybody that asks that we have found the perfect destination with the perfect hosts. C'est magnifique.
Fantastic 10 days at Maison Joutard. The highlights:- Fantastic welcome pack. House and garden perfect for our toddlers. Equipped with everything we needed. We visited Cognac, Bordeaux, Villefagnan. Cycling to the bakery in Verdille. Whole experience highly recommended.
Lovely property, lots of space and well equipped. Play room added bonus. Caroline responded very promptly and efficiently when we discovered a wasp nest!
Thank you for giving us two amazing weeks at your villa. The pool is one of the best we have seen and garden is just stunning. The villa is beautifully decorated and we have all found it vey comfortable. We've have two lovely weeks exploring the surrounding area, without a single minute of television! Beautiful accommodation with so much attention to detail! We were all very amazed by the cleanliness and its amenities. We have never been to such a beautiful place before. We were a group of 6 people. On the terrace you have a beautiful view and there is a waterfall nearby. Sophie is a very lovely and helpful person. We were already very convinced of the pictures of the villa, in reality it was even more beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped, there was no lack of a device or spice. Very very hygienic everything! I would be happy to come back.
We were thrilled with our stay. Debbie was available and very attentive to our needs. She was very efficient and discreet at the same time. We enjoyed the beauty and silence of the place as well as the very large space with the pool at our disposal. Debbie really made us feel at home. We would like to thank her again for her kindness and the pleasant stay she allowed us to have with our children and grandchildren!
We have just spent 2 very enjoyable weeks at Villa Montplaisir. The villa is equipped to a very high standard and Thierry was informative and helpful throughout our stay. The apricot tree kept us well supplied with fresh fruit each morning... delicious. The town centre is only a 10 minute walk and offers a variety of bars and restaurants to suit most tastes. There is a market 3 times a week which has the usual buzz and good choice of fresh food stalls. We would recommend the villa as a very good base to visit both the coast and hinterland.
Extremely well maintained and attractive park. Thought the children's swings and loungers were really good for variety. Excellent facilities. Extremely responsive and discrete service which was excellent. Invaluable housekeeping and concierge service. Thank you!
This is a very peaceful and relaxing place, it was interesting watching the wine growers gathering their grape harvest, lots of beautiful scenery, places to visit and some lovely restaurants. We enjoyed cooking at the house with the very well equipped kitchen and some very nice decor touches around the house. A fantastic introduction to this part of France. We will return.
What a beautiful house, we loved the decor and the private setting. It was the perfect place to relax during our French road trip.
Beautiful villa in a stunning location. Inside there are large spacious rooms, which are all furnished to a high standard. The property was lovely and clean and well maintained. My husband and I stayed with my daughter and boyfriend, we had the lovely bedroom on the first floor which had a verandah with the most stunning view. I found it difficult to drag myself away from here each morning whilst enjoying my breakfast overlooking the village and church. My daughter had the double on the ground floor which was just as lovely with double doors opening out onto patio area. The villa was large enough for us all to have our own space and privacy. Outside the pool area was stunning, more glorious views. Plenty of sun beds for everyone, a very well equipped area and great pool! I also found it difficult to drag myself away from here, but glad I did as the area is so beautiful. A must is the Gorge du Verdon, the many hill top villages and a visit to the fabulous beaches. After a days sightseeing it was great to come back for a swim before going out to dinner. We did'nt travel far in the evenings as we really enjoyed the hotel in the village. The food was excellent, well presented and good service. Italian was also good. We also enjoyed shopping locally for produce, cooking for ourselves and then relaxing in the garden, followed by a game of boules, what could be better especially after a few glasses of wine! I would recommend a stay here and am looking forward to our return.
We had a very happy stay in your villa. We visited le jardin Saint Adrien which was beautiful but did not stay for the horses and the music. The villa really was perfect and thank you for allowing us to use it.
