Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
Lovely authentic French house set in beautiful grounds and perfectly located to access local amenities. Very well equipped, making it a home from home.
I fell under the spell of this beautiful, atypical residence. Its proximity to the Duras castle gives it a magical touch... There is all the necessary comfort for visitors and the bedding is quality. On one side of the residence, breathtaking view of the beautiful swimming pool and the valley and on the other side, magical view of the castle fortifications. I will not reveal any more and leave the pleasure to the next visitors of discovering the other little treasures that this house hides. The village of Duras is typical of small provincial towns with its beautiful and colorful local market. In the evenings, very good festive atmosphere.
We've had an absolutely fantastic holiday. Apart from the stunning accommodation, the welcome and the help from Karen and Russell, we've also had great weather and lots of places to visit and things to do. Everything about our fortnight has been really enjoyable and will stay memorable.

The property was perfect for our two families, with ample accommodation and communal areas to relax together. We were spoilt for choice as to where we chose to hang out with beautiful uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside especially from the back of the property. The pool was a real treat - large enough for our party of 8 to have endless fun in. The daily walk to the boulangerie first thing in the morning was really enjoyable, as were the local pizza's!
We had a wonderful time in the house and thought it was beautifully furnished and it was a great pleasure to stay there.

The Loire! What an overwhelming heritage. Châteaux, abbeys, caves - and Michel's house is central to all of it. Bourgueil is a charming town with delicious foods and outstanding wines. Every night we enjoyed the pool. Thank you Michel for an exceptional week.

We had a wonderful week’s stay at this amazing chateau. We were a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) and couldn’t have wished for a better week. The pool was very popular, and the garden was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Michelle has renovated and finished the whole building with attention to detail and the pictures, as impressive as they are, don’t really do it justice. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful houser. We were in need of some rest and quiet and this house was perfect for it. We enjoyed the beautiful nature, the lovely places nearby and the refreshing pool/ The house is very well equipped and has a the most amazing view! Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the friendly owners. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature and the pool area was superbly secluded. The well kept gardens boasted pétanque, badminton and croquet, with numerous named specimen trees, which offered sought after shady spots and always a place to see those sought after sunsets. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, local shops in villages are a short drive away with larger towns containing hyper markets around 20 minutes drive away. All in all a great house, pool and garden well located for the local sights and scenery of the Dordogne.
