Fabulous location with views to die for. Pool gorgeous and vital. Village cute with decent local restaurant. Food/wine pairing at Domaine Gayda fabulous - walking distance too!
Thank you for such a blissful week with you! We have spent many happy hours enjoying your beautiful garden and pool, while exploring the surrounding countryside on our bikes has been idyllic. Highlights have definitely been visiting château Azay le Rideau, Beauval zoo (an hour and a half by car) and a wonderfully relaxed lunch down by the river at La Route du Sel. Thank you for your incredible hospitality, generosity and warmth. We really hope to return next year!
We have stayed in many different holiday properties in Europe but this one was certainly one of the very best. The house was well equipped and comfortable, the location excellent and the pool area perfect. We were sorry to leave - there was so much to see and do in the area. We would be very pleased to book the Villa again.

What a lovely week we have spent here exploring the Loire. We have throughly enjoyed returning each evening to the quiet sanctuary of this beautiful home - a true taste of France! The grounds and garden are so peaceful and relaxing and we would have wished to spend more time doing so but alas it is time to go. Merci beaucoup!
Château Mézard really is as lovely as it is depicted on the website! It was a magical place for a holiday. The house and grounds were amazing, the set-up of the house provides great privacy even for a large group. Exploring the surrounding countryside, towns and cities provided the perfect French country get away. Returning to the amazing luxury of the château for a dinner on the terrace or a swim in the pool was the highlight of each day.
Le Malardier is delightful. It is so much more than just a holiday home. Every room makes you want to step inside. The house has been so sympathetically restored and is quite clearly a labour of love. Richard and Gay were also the perfect hosts and couldn't have done more to welcome us. If your thinking of booking a week or two at Malardier, do it. You won't be disappointed.
Thank you so so much for a wonderful stay we had a fantastic time and the house couldn't of been better suited to our needs it was great. And it was spotlessly clean. We managed to get out and about on lots of outings so we covered a huge area which is just what we wanted. Really good luck for the rest of the summer I hope things go well for you. We will see what happens next year but we really hope to see you again. Back to the rain in England I'm afraid! All the best.
This was our first ever holiday rental and it has set the bar very high indeed. From the moment we arrived to a warm and friendly welcome by our hosts (Katerina and Stephen) to the time we departed with the same warmth and friendliness still on display we could not have wanted a better start to our extended holiday. The cottage is very well appointed and is a perfect size for a couple. It had all the facilities one would hope to find to make our two weeks very much a 'home from home' sensation and provided space for the two of us to move around comfortably. The pool is also excellent and reflects the great care our hosts took in ensuring everything was perfectly presented. The location - in the Vezere valley - is ideal for visiting the numerous attractions of the area. Pre historic caves, stalagmite and stalactite caves, fortified houses, gorgeous châteaux and so many utterly charming villages. We even ventured into a canoe for a 12km cruise down the Vezere which allowed us to see the valley from a different perspective. Although we love visiting different places there is a high probability of us coming back again!

This is our last night staying at Les Jumelles and we are all sad to be leaving your wonderful house and garden. We only have good memories of our stay and you have made us feel extremely relaxed during the last two weeks. The weather has been perfect for lots of fun spent in the swimming pool and whilst also enjoying your fantastic garden.
We had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful house in this lovely old historic town. The food was lovely, the beach 20 minutes away was nice and quiet and our children absolutely loved it there as well as enjoying the lovely and very warm pool! The house itself caters for all your needs. A perfect week away at a beautiful house in the perfect location for you to enjoy all the area has to offer.

We loved our stay - we were in a mixed group and it worked really well as each couple had their own space and privacy, but there are wonderful spaces for entertaining as a large group. The pool area is stunning and the setting is calm, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the bikes on trips to nearby villages too!

The house is magnificent and very well equipped, for the kitchen or for activities, everything is planned for a good stay. The welcome is warm with very friendly neighbors. I highly recommend the Château des Grillauds for a peaceful stay in the Dordogne. We had a pleasant stay and the house is very well equipped. There is everything you need to have a great vacation with family or friends. We were able to have lunch outside to enjoy the garden and the swimming pool. We had a brilliant restful time at Villa Funel as part of a longer tour of France. The location of the property was so tranquil with a beautiful garden and pool to relax in when not out sight seeing. The furnishings, towels and bedding were of good quality and there was plenty of everything you could possibly need. Carole and Jean Luc were very relaxed, friendly and helpful but we really seemed to have the place to ourselves with not a soul in sight which was perfect. We hope to return one day.
Wow - what a fantastic place to stay! Hugh and Ian are wonderful hosts and have made sure everything we need us available to make our holiday such a relaxing one. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has been glorious to cool down in the summer heat. It was great to meet Oscar your stunning dog too. We've sadly come to the end of a lovely week here chez Karen et Russell. They have been perfect hosts and have made our stay so memorable. The Loft is beautiful and the wonderful weather was very popular with the girls who loved their time around the pool. We look forward to returning in a few years to see how the magnificent looking maison de maitre comes together.
Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable. Charming house, full of space and activities to satisfy travelers of all ages. We also loved the bike paths, visiting San Sebastian and Biarritz and the beach. Nice to show the horses to the baby and to pick fresh raspberries and figs from the trees and bushes. Excellent place for the dog too. Michel the chef was pleasant and accommodating, allowing us to discover the local cuisine. We will be back!
We loved the site; very peaceful and relaxing, despite the suburban setting. Everything you need is here! Pézenas is a beautiful place and we also liked Meze, Tourbes and especially enjoyed kayaking down the Hérault river.
Mas de Lozanne is fabulous. Great garden, wonderful pool and lovely walking and cycling through the vineyards. We would love to come here again.
Our stay was completely amazing. The views around the house are breathtaking and the house itself was a delight. We enjoyed many swims, BBQs, games and film nights. Thank you so much for hosting us all, we are all hoping we’ll return some day soon!!
