My husband and I had a wonderful week at the Maison Estephe. What a wonderful home, it was very enjoyable to stay at an unusual home! We had everything we needed and the home was very tidy and clean. Thank you again for letting us stay at your home.
A lovely family week in this perfect house in an idyllic situation on the edge of the charming village of Cucugnan. The house is well-equipped and the pool is fabulous! The barbecue and table-tennis also much appreciated. The house is a short walk into the village where we visited two bars and an excellent family -run restaurant (Auberge du Vigneron). Also enjoyed ‘Burger Friday’ at the bar. The village shop has all the basics. We also did a ‘degustation’ (wine-tasting) in the village and visited two of the nearby fascinating Cathar Castles – there is plenty to do in the area but the house is also perfect for relaxing. We will be back!
As anticipated, it was as wonderful as last year and we have all had a splendid time and are sorry to have to leave. Thank you so much for your wonderful Loft and your hospitality. We are all looking forward to our visit again next year.
Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.
We needed a break away from it all to decompress and chill. We came across La Charmante Distillerie via a recommendation and it completely exceeded our expectations. The kids were away from their devices playing boules, garden football, badminton and even building sand castles. Then cooling off in the pool with lots of pool games to entertain them. Most memorable of all was the welcome! Mark and Gary are amazing hosts. The welcome to their gorgeous holiday home was so genuine as was their hospitality- just at the right level for us. We will certainly return and look forward to star gazing with the house telescope in the clear night skies Xxx

We have been back a week and I just wanted to email to thank you for a superb holiday experience. Perfect from start to finish - ease of booking, great communication, a fantastic gîte with wonderful owners. It's only our second Pure France experience but it certainly won't be our last!
An incredibly magical week in this very special home. With such a large (chaotic!) group it was wonderful to have so much space that the energetic children had so much to keep them busy and even allowed the adults to feel like they had R and R! Very much hoping to be able to come back and explore more as we enjoyed it immensely!
We thought that the Loft was lovely. We've had a great two weeks in beautiful accommodation. We've enjoyed exploring the region but have left plenty to do to give us a reason to come back. I know the girls will miss Mack and Mabel - we'll keep you posted if we succumb to their requests to get one of our own! Thank you both for your company and warm hospitality.
The first visitors of the year! The house immediately feels like coming home. It has every comfort and a wonderful atmosphere, enhanced by the artwork throughout the house. We expected it to be cold, but it wasn’t at all—it was lovely. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time, and so did the grandparents and parents!
Peaceful location with beautiful views. The building has been really thoughtfully renovated. The open nature of the outdoor area meant you could always choose to be in/out of sun, always a breeze. A fab place for a family holiday. Great for cycling, locals super friendly. Delicious food and wine. We will definitely be back! We recommend the closest town, Monségur, the most for food, drinks and ambience. The local wine co-operative were also very friendly with great recommendations. We also recommend La Salle a Manger for food or just for a drink.
Thank you to Pete and Kate We've had another wonderful stay at Le Tesquet. It has been our 3rd stay here and we love the gîte, the surroundings, the pretty villages and lots of good restaurants. Pete and Kate have been superb hosts and we could not have asked for anything more. We will be back next July.
From the moment I arrived at Les Cazettes, I was completely mesmerised by it. Every corner of the villa has the most beautiful architecture, thoughtful design and authentic charm in every detail, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Each room is a masterpiece. All that beautiful furniture and chandeliers speak of timeless elegance and gives it much more personality than any modern soulless contemporary interior designs that is more common to find among luxury villas. As someone who deeply values nature, the villa's surroundings became my nirvana place. With colourful fields that seem to stretch infinitely and forests that attract to explore it, there’s a certain magic that Les Cazettes holds. The air here is different - it’s charged with an energy so vibrant, yet very calming. It's rare to find a place that can give you the feeling of being home, especially when you're miles away from what you’ve always known. It’s an oasis where happiness isn’t just felt, it's lived. I've spent such beautiful moments here, makes me feel so warmly nostalgic as I write this review. Bring your favourite people with you and step into that bubble that feels from another world. A place where joy isn’t just a sporadic emotion but a permanent atmosphere that surrounds you. It's not just a holiday spot - it’s an experience, a journey, a lifestyle that I never wanted to end. Thank you for such a wonderful week. The house is perfect and we loved how many different places there were in the garden to sit and have a drink / admire the beautiful view. It was lovely to meet you both and thanks for being so helpful (and telling us about the Friday market in Ribérac!). Fantastic holiday - hoping to return next year!
Absolutely loved our stay at Le Séchoir Carme! It’s a fab barn conversion (decorated to a high spec) with lots of space inside and out. The pool is a great size too, if you want to get some lengths in! I would also recommend the night markets which are held in many local villages and are so much fun!
Staying here was lovely - the house is stunning and is set in a really peaceful location. The view is really amazing and the house is really nice. We loved it!
A beautiful house, fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need or think of! The pool area is just brilliant and we all enjoyed spending the majority of our stay here underwater. Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.

Amazing week for us in a very beautiful house with a wonderful view. The pool and outdoor kitchen area is great and was used daily for pool parties and delicious meals. Thanks to Peter and his team for their always friendly help.
We are back home after a very good two weeks. The weather was nice and warm the first week (wonderful for the pool). We drank very good wine and visited very good restaurants. (Franck Putelat in Carcassone, Octopus in Béziers, Cot Mas, Lauzun in Gignac, Presbytery in Vailhan etc). We visited the marches and cooked with excellent and fresh products. We discovered a bakery with wood fire in Canet and visited many beautiful places. With this beautiful house - a perfect vacation. We met Olivier and Raphael - friendly and funny and we drank a beer together. We look forward to returning next year.
We had a fantastic holiday at Manoir Coteaux. The grounds were ideal for our children and dog to play and explore and the swimming pool was well and truly made use of every day, even on cooler days thanks to the heating! The inflatables were a much appreciated welcome gift and provided no end of fun. The BBQ area gives a superb evening view. We stayed in the main manor and enjoyed the property's character and charm, which had everything we needed. Special thanks to Tracey who prepared several meals in the manor for us to enjoy without hassle of driving to a restaurant. We did venture out a few times and highly recommend Le Lac restaurant at Argenton, especially as it welcomes dogs on the terrace. Elanor, Roger and Tracey really did tend to our every need and gave us good recommendations on things to do as well as sorting any issues we had. This was our first family holiday since covid had curtailed our usual regular holidays overseas. The location and ease of access for us from Jersey now makes a holiday in a rented home in the Loire a very appealing alternative to international travel and we felt quite safe everywhere we went with the measures in place, but also due to the ability to stay away from crowds and enjoy family time in a lovely property. We will almost certainly do it again.
Wonderful time here in Sarlat. This house is perfect for seeing the area. Lots of great things to do within easy distance. The house is in a beautiful location and with the high temperatures this week the pool has been a godsend. Everything in the house is geared for visitors and it's really well equipped. This is my first time in the Dordogne and it's absolutely beautiful. I will certainly come back soon. Thank you Jackie and Geoff for a wonderful holiday.
We had a lovely two weeks in this beautiful old French farmhouse with its heavenly views and surrounded in wonderful countryside. We have spent most of our time in the garden, playing bolles, swimming, water ball, table tennis and using the pool table, enjoying leisurely meals on the terrace with great views. Trips out to Vaison la Romain, daily trips to the boulangie, wonderful walks, some brilliant bike rides for children and adults alike. We have seen some wonderful wildlife around the area, geckos, cicadas etc. We are sad to leave but hope to return one day.
Many thanks for arranging our rental of Le Chambarru in Blauzac, it is a tremendous house and we had a very good holiday with our friends from the USA. We enjoyed meeting the owners.
