Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. The house was very comfortable and the swimming pool was great. We spent some time in the nearby towns / villages. Pézenas, Vias, Béziers and Cap d'Agde. The Sunday morning market in Besson is a must. The area is great for cycling with all of the nearby villages easily accessible. Very sad to be leaving. Thank you very much.
Thank you for letting us stay in your house. I loved the swimming pool and my bedroom. We found some secret stairs as well.

We had high expectation of this holiday and were not disappointed. The property is a piece of history in an area steeped in the past. From the moment we arrived, greeted by a couple you seemed to have been friends with all your life, the stresses of every day life evaporated. We immediately felt at home and were very quickly making plans for our next visit. The cottage looks picture postcard from the outside and there really is no detail left undone. The inside has its historic charm in place but with all the amenities necessary so that you are not required to live the Médiéval lifestyle of many some other rural accommodation in France. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated and there are large bathroom and shower facilities (upstairs and down). The private swimming pool is superb and was for our sole use. Its clear waters under pine trees and a blue sky were idyllic. It was difficult to tear my wife from the pool side. The cottage fits perfectly into an area of outstanding beauty where many of the sites we wished to visit were only minutes away. The owners were very welcoming and provided good advice on the places to visit but were not overwhelming so that you could always enjoy complete privacy. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and cannot recommend it more highly. If you want to tour the area to see the 1,000 châteaux and the countless prehistoric sites in the area or just chill by the pool, this is the place for you. Thank you for a lovely week.
Thank you so much for our brilliant holiday. The property is near perfect for a relaxing holiday, we really couldn't want for anything! The area is beautiful and we especially loved the swimming at Ribaute. Lagrasse has some great restaurants and the Sunday market was really interesting. On the owner Ms W advice we took a trip to the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres - this is brilliant and we loved it. The owner Ms W made us feel very welcome, we really enjoyed the wine you left. Thanks again for making our holiday so GREAT!
Having booked with you several times and having never been disappointed our expectations were high. The owner was very knowledgeable and the property stocked with every utensil you could imagine, spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. Our stay with friends in Duras in August 23 was exceptional thanks to this large house made for moments of sharing. Indeed the house is very spacious with sufficiently separate spaces for everyone to have different activities. Several differently exposed terraces allow you to enjoy the outdoors at various times of the day. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool as much as we did, the security system of which is very reassuring. The house remains cool despite the heat and its well-equipped kitchen allowed for real convivial moments preparing meals. Finally, the house is ideally located, in the very pleasant village and at the foot of the magnificent castle. An enchanted parenthesis to share with family and friends.
We loved every moment of our stay. The Cottage du Jardin is pretty but so well appointed; super-clean, well equipped and charming. The pool and gardens are private and delightful. Catarina and Stephen are great hosts - nothing is too much trouble and they are just so friendly. This property is a jewel and the villages and ancient sites of the Vezere Valley make this a stunning trip.

Beautiful house and wonderful grounds - a perfect place to relax. Facilities as expected, lots to do and play with.
Second stay in this magnificent house, it is still such an enchanting place. The nature of course is splendid but the interior space and the layout are really of high quality. The rooms are particularly spacious, the bedding is perfect, the decoration combines old and new in a very harmonious way. The common areas are very well appointed, special mention for the table football in a cool lounge which the children enjoyed. The kitchen is large and stocked with more than the basics. The swimming pool is completely secure with a very handy sliding opening system. We will come back with pleasure.
We have had a very relaxing and restful week here, with perfect weather. We loved the pool, playing table tennis and darts. The house has everything you could need and we have enjoyed having so much space inside and out! The surrounding area has lots to offer – Chauvigny is beautiful (we recommend The VeloRail) and we spent a wonderful afternoon kayaking at Angles sur L’Anglin.

We had a wonderful holiday here, the garden and swimming pool area is a real gem and the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the markets in Nyons and Vaison la romaine, the Roman ruins in Vaison and Sault and the cave paintings at Chauvet-pont d’acr are astonishing, we also enjoyed the local wines, it was very special drinking Audrey Latards wonderful wines knowing they are from the vines at the end of the garden, Thank you.
Stunning retreat Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our time in your gorgeous home. We all spent hours in the pool and visited the neighbouring vineyard for some delicious rose, Corinne's daughter Chloe served up some fantastic food and Isabelle looked after the kids while we escaped two nights. It really is a stunning retreat.
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. I would like to express our thanks for providing us with a lovely property in a good location for our vacation. After visiting a few local towns Pézenas was our favourite and we were so pleased to be staying so close. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I am sure we will return. Merci!
Absolutely stunning, luxury converted distillery in the countryside of Challignac. Extremely high end furnishings and appliances. Beautiful interior design, all air conditioned and with an amazing outdoor heated pool with spacious patio, cushioned loungers, sofas and outside dining together with BBQ, Boules court and children’s play area all surrounded by beautiful gardens, and stunning tranquil countryside. It was beautiful to sit out with a morning coffee, watching deer walk through the field at the front. The beds were the most comfortable we’d ever slept in, the showers were fantastic, everything is top notch. Gary and Mark made our week extra special with fabulous recommendations of places to visit and excellent restaurants all nearby. They responded instantly to any request we had, but were totally respectful of our privacy unless we contacted them. We cannot recommend staying here enough and are booking for next year.
A really nice villa with peaceful garden. We all especially children enjoyed the pool. Weather was also excellent, we were really lucky. Enjoyed the nature of L'Hérault, walking in Lac du Salagou and the Gorges d'Hérault and swimming in the mountain pools.
You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!
