What a memorable time we had with friends along with my 5 years old daughter at the château. The owners are friendly and extremely generous, beautiful adorable dogs, my daughter is fond of them. The castle is rustic French style property with large windows directly opens to garden space and pool, the property is huge enough for every day walk, lush greens, canals, peaceful at the same time. The furniture and tapestry are well selected and stored beautifully. It’s a combination of modern comfort meets rustic luxury one could dream of. 5 - 10 minutes drive to local markets, boulangerie for delicious French breads. Amazing Safari zoo, my daughter and we had a great time. Great seas face restaurants are close by and a must visit. A perfect gateway to celebrate with your family, friends and loved ones.
We have all had a superb week. What a beautiful house and surroundings. Huge fun in the pool, long evenings on the stunning terrace watching the sun go down. Complete relaxation for us all. Younger folk tried the Pirate experience and really enjoyed it. We all went to Laparade - a huge open food festival, a sea of tables on the remparts (take your own cloth and plastic beakers!) and great music. A truly magical week we will all treasure. X

We loved every moment of our stay. The Cottage du Jardin is pretty but so well appointed; super-clean, well equipped and charming. The pool and gardens are private and delightful. Catarina and Stephen are great hosts - nothing is too much trouble and they are just so friendly. This property is a jewel and the villages and ancient sites of the Vezere Valley make this a stunning trip.
Beautiful house, best we have ever stayed in. All the comforts of home and so tastefully decorated. Will definitely be back with the family. We had a wonderful holiday.
What a gorgeous holiday! The house was perfect for the nine of us, the view is stunning and the pool was fabulous. We were charmed by Najac - the night market and canoeing were a highlight. We would thouroughly recommend the take-away food from the hotel in Najac. Cordes-sur-Ciel and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val worth a visit. Thank you for looking after us so well, Henrietta! We hope to come back one day.
Such a great place to stay. It's so peaceful, really well laid out and perfect for groups big or small. Close enough to the main town and well located for golf or wine country. Hosts were super helpful and welcoming and the house itself is gorgeous. Great pool, facilities and entertaining areas - we'll definitely be going back.

A week stay with all the family. Villa Colline is a superb ultra modern luxury villa, fitted with stunning furniture and accessories. The modern kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms are all very luxurious, especially the master room with its hot tub. For me, it was the pool and the numerous sun terraces which pleased me, especially the private areas with each room - little havens of peace! We had a fantastic week and we give the villa 10/10 ! Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Thank you for your thoughtful suggestions of places to explore.
It's hard to know where to start with this wonderful home, the inside and outside are so special its impossible to choose a 'best bit'! I didn't know this part of France at all and whilst it was a wonderful discovery, the château itself stands head and shoulders above its surroundings (literally) with his jaw dropping views. 360 degrees of rolling hills, almost no building in sight and just the sheep and their charming bells the only signs of neighbours. The pictures simply can't do it justice. The house itself is extremely luxurious in its proportions and furnishings. The main difference to other holiday homes is that it is so evidently a comfortable home. We had one rainy day on our trip and the excuse to be inside for the evening with the fire and comfortable sofa's was a great treat. The mixed accommodation is wonderful, with the farm house next to the château and the two charming cottages in the grounds. Very much one for a gang of friends or large family. The owners provide some brilliant suggestions on what to do when venturing further afield - should you want to! But there seem to be endless possibilities, in our brief 10 days we discovered so much and feel we could happily come back every year for 10 years and still be finding new spots. The castle at Foix is an absolute must for children and for adults, if you don't want to go parachuting after your market trip to beautiful Mirepoix the Michelin restaurant 8 minutes away in Camon is a must. But equally with the tennis court, heated pool, choice of terraces to eat on, chapel, lake and boat it would be entirely possible to spend a happy week going no where at all. Perhaps apart from a trip down the drive to Olivier and Marielle's informal shop. Heaven.
We had a very good stay at La Ferme Éclaircie which met all our expectations. We were very grateful for the initial supplies ( tea, coffee, wine , orange juice, loo paper etc ) which make a huge difference. The information pack - which was really useful. The maps. And the house was delightfully furnished and well supplied. We loved the area.
Dear host, Thank you - we had a very nice stay in the holiday house! The beaches nearby and all the nice, old cities are all very worth to be explored. All in one - it was a wonderful stay for the kids and us.
Memories: The views from the house. The wind, like a freight train through the mountains! Wednesday night pizza van. Minerve – nice and quiet (La Terrasse for eats). The front shower – I want this in my house! The fridge/freezer – cold water and ice on tap – something else we'd want in our house. Lazy days by the pool with a pot of coffee and a book. Villa Lavinière has everything we needed, and more. What a lovely house. Definitely one we'd come back to and recommend to friends.
I had very high expectations for this accommodation, based on the photos and descriptions. But the castle was even more incredible than we dared to imagine. We were four families, 15 in total, on a graduation trip across Europe. It's the only place we could all be together and our days there were the highlight of our trip. This place is PERFECT for large gatherings. So much room, so many places where we could all be together. Amazing food. The pool was awesome. I can't say enough how perfect it was for our group.
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! For the last 10 years, a whole group of friends and now growing amount of children have been going on holidays. We found Mas de la Rivière by chance by doing a search for 'a big house to rent in France'. Well the house is huge! We were so pleased and extremely surprised to see how much space they were when we arrived. The owners were away but we were greeted buy lovely girl where everything was and how everything worked. The house is child friendly with a huge swimming pool (with a slide). A huge trampoline, climbing frame / slide / swings and table tennis. There is enough bikes for all the kids to ride around the gardens and woods around the property are vast. We were told to help ourselves to their fruit and vegetables. The kitchen was really well equipped with lots of child friendly stuff like cups and plates etc. The rooms all had ensuite bathrooms and were extremely comfortable with good mattresses and fans in all the rooms. Mid week the lovely cleaners came and changed all the bedding and towels and cleaned all the bathrooms. The house has Wi-Fi throughout with meant that some of us could work if needed. And of course browse Facebook and Instagram.
In 25 years of renting houses for our summer holidays, Château Mabrouke truly topped the lot! Ed and Katie have kept it as a family home which gives the house a lovely ambiance and makes it so welcoming and interesting. We loved the artworks, both in the house and the garden. The guide to the house, helpfully shared in advance, was comprehensive. It meant we weren't struggling to work anything out for ourselves and the information on the local area was really helpful. The local team gave us a lovely welcome too and looked after us flawlessly throughout our stay. The rooms all have great character and were very comfortable indeed. The hilltop setting gives outstanding vistas all round and the terraces surrounding the house and pool offered the best of the sun at all points of the day, particularly sunsets at dinner. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped and the cooker is fabulous. Martin and Philippa, who Katie recommended, cooked a wonderful meal for us and were thoroughly engaging company. There is so much to do, in and around the house and in the local area, that it was hard to do it all justice in a mere two weeks. A day's white water rafting and kayaking with Eau Vive at Foix was a big highlight.
Thank you so much for making our holiday such a comfortable one. This house is so cosy and well-equipped, especially the kitchen! Our boys loved the wooden die and boules. We have used Pure France for 5 years now and this has been by far the best holiday home! We particularly appreciated the discrete, yet available presence of the owners and the e-mails were definitely very helpful with information on which places to visit.
This property has the WOW factor! We were blown away by it when we arrived. It is beautifully renovated and the grounds and surrounding countryside are stunning. The main house is very spacious with a large living room, TV lounge room and a big kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you might need (including 2 great coffee machines and a pantry with essentials that you can use). Also, a lovely large dining table. Upstairs there are 4 big airy bedrooms with very comfy beds, great linen and towels. Plus 3 pristine luxe bathrooms. The views out of every side of the house are idyllic. The outside space too is fantastic. Great terraces for eating / relaxing on, beautiful warm clean swimming pool with comfy loungers, herb garden, fire pit, well equipped gym, pétanque court, vineyard, landscaped gardens. The gîte across from the main house is also lovely and provides 3 extra bedrooms plus additional bathroom, kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed our stay enormously and appreciated the level of detail and care that the owners have put into this house.
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. We had a great one week vacation in Maison Lemance. The house is fully equipped and you will find everything you need in the kitchen, games room for the children, great pool and even a ping-pong table. There is a big and beautiful garden that is great for the children to run around, while we were drinking wine on the balcony. The owner left us a list of recommendations for activities and restaurants in the region which was very useful. We highly recommend staying in Maison Lemance.
