A stunning villa perfectly set up and loved by our children. The extra touches like coffee machine, Lego for the boys to play with, a bottle of champagne to welcome us on arrival were excellent. The boys loved the heated pool, walking into town for bread / croissants in the morning and lunch on the terrace. Some excellent restaurants in town including Chez Paul, Maison Conti, La Ripaille, Les Palmiers and La Pomme d'Amour. The Pedahorail is not for the faint hearted. Had a lovely holiday. Thank you!
Thank you for the opportunity to have another wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Everything has just been perfect! Came prepared this year with my 'adult basic piano lessons' and loved the chance to try and play again. Not so sure it was as pleasable for those listening! Thanks to Frederic and Natasha for all they do to make the 2 weeks go so smoothly.
We travelled to this beautiful villa with friends for 6 nights and our stay was truly wonderful. We were fortunate with the weather most days so managed to enjoy some of the many amenities the villa has to offer including swimming and sunbathing by the pool, playing croquet and pétanque! We also ate outside on the veranda every day, enjoying the BBQ and the good weather. The villa had so much to offer. We had two days when the weather was not so good and were kept busy by the games rooms downstairs – we made great use of the pool table and projector for playing music, movies and watching sports, it really was a lifesaver on one particularly cloudy day. On arrival the villa was clean and the villa handbook was most helpful to support us settling in, additionally the host was quick to respond and always willing to help with our queries. The villa offers great privacy with peaceful surroundings and allowed us to relax away from others. The village is a short walk away and we enjoyed lunch there on our final day at the restaurant which is also worth a try. On specific days there were gourmet food trucks that stopped by in the village offering various sweet and savoury items – we tried the crepes which were lovely and a nice treat after an evening walk around the river and church in lovely Buzet. We loved everything about the place, I would highly recommend this to both friend groups and families.
Thank you Nick and Tessa for the most fantastic two weeks in your wonderful house. Frédéric was a star. We relaxed properly for the first time in a long while. Ate delicious food quaffed too much wine and swam all day in your pool. We hope to return one day.
We stayed with our 2 children aged 5 and 7 and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of things to do nearby and the accomodation was well equiped and great for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful for long hot afternoons and there is lots of outdoor space to explore. The hosts were very helpful and I would recommend this place to my friends.

What an amazing week! The whole family had a superb time - we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful home, with everything we needed there! Our family - from the age of 6 to 71 enjoyed all the facilities - the pools, hot tub, table football, darts and of course, table tennis. Thank you so much for your hospitality and use of your “home”. We will be back - but before then I hope you will visit us in Prague.

We arrived late afternoon and were met by Yvonne who gave us a lovely tour of this beautiful stunning house, such a lovely welcome. I love all of the lovely antique finds in all of the rooms from the hats in the master bedroom to the old magazines to the pram in the barn. Everything has been thought of here we really didn't need a thing. Would really recommend a trip to La Rochelle but you would need to leave early it really does get very busy. We have been truly spoilt staying here. Impeccably clean and tidy, we have loved every minute. We'd love to come back.
Spacious, pretty and very well located house! We had a great week in your accommodation! Host attentive and available to answer questions. Accommodation next to the house (the atelier) is very good when two families stay, each has their own autonomy with their own personal space. We recommend this house without hesitation!

Mas de Clouze is a stunning, peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and lounging by the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too - great walks, pétanque, table tennis and of course the heated swimming pool.

Wonderful stay, 5 children and 8 adults all found happiness. Bedroom, bathroom, very spacious living room as well as a pool terrace perfectly arranged for everyone and the little extra of an outdoor kitchen with barbeque. The proximity is very quiet, in the countryside but at a very correct distance to do activities. We thank the host for making this villa available for our holidays. We recommend without hesitation. We were a family of seven adults and spent a wonderful week at Challignac. Mark and Gary truly are superb hosts. The gite was beautifully presented and immaculately clean. Everything you could possibly need had been thoughtfully provided — including luxurious liquid shower soap, so no need to bring your own. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, with every utensil and appliance you might require. And if something wasn’t there, Mark and Gary were more than happy to provide it! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a generous selection of cheese, meats, bread, snacks, wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee — a perfect welcome that meant we didn’t have to rush out to the shops. The pool area was simply divine: a stunning heated pool surrounded by tons of outdoor seating and a brilliant outdoor kitchen. Everything was set up for relaxation and enjoyment. Although the weather gods weren't entirely on our side, we made the most of it by exploring local villages and larger towns. We enjoyed some fantastic meals at restaurants recommended by our hosts. All in all, everyone had a jolly good time, and we will most definitely return. A massive thank you to Mark and Gary!
Came for 2 weeks, had a warm welcome from our hosts. We explored the area and further afield, went on lovely walks, found some lovely villages, Sarlat-la-Caneda and Bergerac with their lovely markets. Beautiful villa, fabulous pool! We loved our stay in Maison de Saint-Jean. The villa is big, beautiful and cool (the weather was HOT!) and extremely well equipped. The beds, in particular, are super-comfy and we really appreciated the extra touches, like piles of big lizard-patterned pool towels (in addition to soft white bath towels for everyone), gorgeous soaps in the bathrooms and a huge range of kitchen equipment (including sharp knives - hurrah! - and a coffee machine). The pool is a good size (long enough to swim 'proper' lengths) and it was lovely to take a dip in soft, salt water, rather than the usual strong-smelling chlorine. Our teens loved the ping-pong table (and we loved that it was in the courtyard, out of earshot!), the massive bean bag, the great Wi-Fi connection and (face of shame) the BBC channels on the TV. The village restaurant (literally 15 paces away) is great - really friendly, nice food - and there a lots of other good places to eat in the towns nearby (once you've worked out which ones are closed on which days - every one is different!). Thoroughly recommend this villa - we honestly can't think of a single thing it's missing - and the truly beautiful French landscape all around it.
We had a brilliant restful time at Villa Funel as part of a longer tour of France. The location of the property was so tranquil with a beautiful garden and pool to relax in when not out sight seeing. The furnishings, towels and bedding were of good quality and there was plenty of everything you could possibly need. Carole and Jean Luc were very relaxed, friendly and helpful but we really seemed to have the place to ourselves with not a soul in sight which was perfect. We hope to return one day.
Thank you so much for an amazing stay, how will we cope without the view!!!! Main highlights include, hanging around the house, Mount Ventoux for go carting and tubing etc, watching the Tour de France at Grignan, Nyons for great markets and music in the evenings, les Barons perches Nyons for high ropes and Vaison la romaine.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable family gathering at Le Presbytère. It is a beautiful, atmospheric, ancient house set in large grounds. A great place for peace and rest or equally perfect for a gathering of friends or family. We found it so relaxing to sit around in the garden or at the poolside and there is lots of safe space for the kids to play (table tennis, boules and of course the pool were great successes). The house is amazing - such a sense of history and unusual features like old tiles, fireplaces and a lovely old oak beam running across the upstairs landing. It's very roomy so, even if you are staying with a group, it never feels crowded. The surrounding area has lots of great restaurants and fresh produce from the markets. There is excellent cycling and walking around the network of country roads and footpaths. Also the various bastides (12th century fortified towns) are really fascinating. We loved Bonaguil, Monflanquin and Vilareal but there are so many to choose from and they all have their own character. It's also less than an hour to the Dordogne. We had such a great, relaxing and enjoyable time at Le Presbytère and we hope to return in the future. Thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday.
We had a very relaxing and peaceful time staying in your beautiful home. It was wonderful to wake up and watch the sunrise over Mont Ventoux.
As a group of 7 from age 2 to 62 and having had similar holidays in recent years this has been the best. Wonderfully well equipped with thoughtful advice everywhere. Everybody loved the pool and there are plenty to things to see and do in the area, thanks again.

We have visited many properties in France and this is one ofthe loveliest ! Vouvant is a delightful village with its interesting history and vibrant community.The guided walk of the village is recommended as well as a visit to the zoo - great for kids.
