An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the nearby markets and small community which surrounds the château. Thank you Phil and Claire. Spacious rooms, historic building and thoughtful amenities.
We are delighted with our stay in Villa Signado. Quiet, in a green setting, with your feet in the water and under the sun for two weeks... it was great!! This spacious villa and outdoor setting invites to a relaxing getaway. Béziers, Pézenas, Sigean, Cap d'Agde, Sète... detours rewarded by very beautiful discoveries. We will gladly come back!
We went as four couples to spend New Year's Eve and it was sensational. The house is very welcoming and comfortable. 4 bedrooms with their bathroom. The combined kitchen-dining-room-livingroom is wide, comfortable and functional. The Perfect heating. The hostess responded almost immediately to the inquiries we made. The town is also very small and quiet. A highly recommended place.
Gorgeous week, great weather fantastic food, wine, pool and tennis topped off with a spectacular display of shooting stars viewed from the back terrace. Truly Magically! Thank you!

Probably the best holiday we have ever had. Taught our boys to dive, caught fish and fully relaxed. Didn't hold back on the French food and wine either.
Thank you for a lovely stay. The house is so comfortable and a great base to explore the region from. Highlights were Dinan, Le Mont-Saint-Michel and Faugères. We also loved driving through the countryside. The boulangerie in Bazouges-la-Pérouse was fantastic! We loved the welcome basket - it was such a thoughtful + helpful gift. What would you tell your friends about your holiday ? It was a very pleasant stay. A very quiet house, very well equipped, with a much-appreciated pool. Beautiful scenery. What was the best thing about your stay ? The pool. The view over the landscape. The outdoor space. The air conditioning. What could we do better for your next stay? A pitcher/carafe (but perhaps we just didn’t find it). Were there any appliances you really wished you had? It was more than perfect. How was the comfort of your rooms, pillows, and beds? Impeccable. Do you have any comments on the garden, pool, plancha, etc.? Wonderful. Missing: the table game, and a tree under whose shade one could have lunch. How do you rate the information provided in this booklet? Perfect and complete. Is there anything important missing? One of our friends suggested an electric bike. Another thought that suggestion was excessive. How could we improve it? I note that the useful information, sometimes highlighted, already seems extremely well presented — also topographic details, routes, activities, plans for next year. Do you have any other comments to help us serve you better when you return next year? Looking forward to future visits. Final remark: We thank you for this very good stay in this very beautiful and interesting house, whose collection of books caught our attention.

A brief note to advise that we have enjoyed a wonderful week at Château de la Ronde. It is a very special location and premises of the highest order. Claire is a charming host. We hope to maybe return one day.
Thank you so much for the very warm welcome, all the ‘goodies’ you provided and of course the use of your very well equipped Loft. It felt like we had always known you (perhaps because we’re all Northerners!). The Italian restaurant in the village is great to be able to walk to. A few degrees below 38 would have been preferable, but out of your control! Good luck with the house.
Very nice stay in a beautiful house. The unit is ideally located by the Canal du Midi. There are many activities to do in the area (hikes, water sports, tastings, ...). The hosts are lovely and available. We particularly appreciated the many recommendations for discovering the region. The accommodation is well decorated, spacious and well-equipped. The pool is large and not overlooked. The bedding is also nice. A big plus is the number of bathrooms that makes it easy for a large group to get organized. We had a great time in a fantastic setting with a rare value for money. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks again!
We have spent 2 weeks at lovely maison Charvin in Montlaur. This was our first trip to Languedoc-Roussillon, Occitanie. We realized at once when we arrived that this was the right house for us. It is so beautiful, carefully restored and homely decorated. Everything was spotless and clean. A bottle of local wine waited as a gift and we feelt so welcome. Books to lend all over the place. The kitchen had everything we could ever want and more, we loved the Italian stove. The outside area is fantastic, very private with the turquoise pool to cool off in. Even our teenagers feelt relaxed and happy just being there. Montlaur is a little village with friendly people. There is a shop, a bakery, a boucher, a pharmacie and a hairdresser. What else do you need? We spent our time reading, sunbathing, swimming and doing daytripes. Thanks to Sharon we ended up in all the right places, like the wonderful restaurants in Lagrasse, really nice both of them. Its perfect having a private guide who is so nice and engaged as the owner Ms W. She wanted us to get the most out of our vacation. Even borrowed me one of her favourite books with a little note; you might like this! Thank you ever so much Sharon, for opening your home to us, we are so happy that we found this little piece of heaven.
We have stayed now on five occasions and will return again. Accommodation has everything you could wish for in self-catering accommodation and the pool is superb. Lovely little villages to visit nearby as well as Nice, Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Monaco all within easy reach. Easy drive from Nice Airport to a very peaceful location.
Pete was a great host and made us all feel really welcome from the start. We made full use of the wonderful pool. Ella (6) learnt to swim without armbands by the end of our week and Dhilan (4) spent more time in the water than anyone. We had a slow-paced week which suited us perfectly, but did enjoy Chateau Castelnaud with the kids and market day in Monflanquin, especially the Loubet seller.
Beautiful, looking forward to coming back. Very nice trip. Loved every moment.

This is certainly the most tranquil villa I have ever stayed in. The pool and garden are quite lovely. Very hard to pull ourselves away. The area is wonderful. Finally I understand why so many people relocate to the Languedoc-Roussillon.

The villa has been great. We have a lot of villas for a two week holiday and that is the first time we have had that. The two cleaning ladies are really thorough, very attentive and they do a great job.
Les Chapoux is truly a terrific holiday destination, the property is located in a lovely area and it is easy to access local towns and villages with supermarkets in easy reach. As to the property it is charming, there is plenty of room with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The pool is great and the 3 generations of our family spent many an hour in and around it. The owners are very helpful and made us feel most welcome. Definitely one to visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maison Estephe and thought the village and surrounding area was one of the nicest places we have been in France. We have over the years been to almost every department in France but never to Pézenas. In fact we liked it so much we are considering a move from The Limousin to the Pézenas area. The house was charming and very comfortable indeed.
We have stayed here three weeks. For the first week our family joined us our three sons and partners. This house is full of beautiful objects and we have loved being in it. We have enjoyed the lovely gifts of pastries and bread brought by Phillip. Thank you for those and also the amazing meal that included a cake for my 70th birthday. We have been to the walled city of Carcassonne - well worth a visit. We have been to the beach and our here has been lovely. We are sad to leave and will miss the bird song. I am afraid the cat was not welcomed by our two Pugs and was chased away. The wine tasting at Saint-Chinian was amazing. We bought bottles of wine with amazing art labels as the cave was decorated with such great art-work. So worth the visit. Thank you for the taster wine and for the introduction.
Beautiful, extensive, quiet grounds; clean; lots of towels. Excellent facilities; helpful that basics were supplied.
