We had the most magical week at the enchanting Château Mabrouke. A beautiful house with outstanding facilities set in a most stunningly unspoilt expanse of French countryside. With some gloriously grand rooms in the château, immaculate gardens and seemingly endless out-buildings, Château Mabrouke still had a wonderfully homely feel to it. We enjoyed days spent splashing in the pool, long lunches and drinks with a view. And a couple of nights of being cooked for and hosted by the lovely Martin and Philippa were an absolute treat. Visits to the nearby pretty towns of Foix and Mirepoix were lovely and other places to recommend include the stunning Montsegur and some interesting prehistoric caves near the charming town of Mas d'Azil. All in all a most heavenly escape. We look forward to returning.
We had a fantastic family holiday everyone loved the pool / tennis court, BBQ's, trips to the local villages. We came last year and we will definitely book again.
Absolutely loved our stay at Le Séchoir Carme! It’s a fab barn conversion (decorated to a high spec) with lots of space inside and out. The pool is a great size too, if you want to get some lengths in! I would also recommend the night markets which are held in many local villages and are so much fun!
We have just had the most relaxing break in the best 5 star gîte. On arrival we were met by the owners Mark and Gary who were lovely providing a welcome package and drinks fridge which was a lovely touch The gîte itself is beautifully decorated and truly deserves its 5 star rating The pool and terrace area has everything you need with seating and dining area and a summer kitchen with barbecue and plancha It’s a peaceful and tranquil place to stay and we will definitely return
We absolutely loved our stay at Château du Pic de Rigaud. It was the best stay out of our 9 weeks in France. The home is stunning, but it was also immaculately clean. My youngest child is crawling, so I'm more appreciative than ever of a clean home. Honestly though, Henrietta (the house manager) made all the difference! From making a doctors appointment for one child and offering to translate, to baby proofing the house and providing all necessary baby items, we were blown away by her level of service. Merci!

I thoroughly enjoyed the walks that we went on and I was grateful for the time that you both took to do that, which you didn't need to do. It was so relaxing and the views were stunning. My family and I had a fabulous time during our week in France. It really was exactly what we were looking for and expecting.
We had a fantastic week of vacation with friends at Mas du Château. The house, the pool, the bedding, the exteriors... everything is set up to have a perfect time! The house is perfectly insulated so that the most fetards in the group can take care of your feet in the water and the rest can sleep without problem. We'll be happy to go back, including off-season!:) Christophe is an available and attentive host. He has carefully renovated the house with care and commitment.
We have had a fantastic time here. It is a beautiful and restful place. It is the perfect place for a large group and we have made the most of it! It is a privilege to have been able to come.

You have been excellent hosts - helpful but never intrusive. The Loft is a lovely place to stay - stylish, comfortable and very well equipped for a baby. A cool, wet start to the week was more than made up for by Karen's delicious cake! It has been such a pleasure discovering this corner of France.
We had a brilliant family holiday at Mas de Lozanne in June 2022, The house and pool were perfect for 6 adults and a baby; a very quiet location but still a short walk into the beautiful town of Pézenas. We plan to return in 2025.
We needed a break away from it all to decompress and chill. We came across La Charmante Distillerie via a recommendation and it completely exceeded our expectations. The kids were away from their devices playing boules, garden football, badminton and even building sand castles. Then cooling off in the pool with lots of pool games to entertain them. Most memorable of all was the welcome! Mark and Gary are amazing hosts. The welcome to their gorgeous holiday home was so genuine as was their hospitality- just at the right level for us. We will certainly return and look forward to star gazing with the house telescope in the clear night skies Xxx
We just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your lovely house in France. Les Roches was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing, seeing something of the Southern Loire, and trying new wines. The pool, tennis courts, and gym were a big hit with the kids especially. Isabella, thank you for the personal tour of the winery, it was good to learn more about how you create your organic/low sulphite wines and the great knowledge shared while tasting a few, along with the ones we thoroughly tested during our stay The Femme Tour riding by the gates was a one off and such an amazing and friendly experience. We toasted with sparkling wine (Ampelidae of course) on the barrels set at the end of the drive as they rode past. Please say thank you to the so helpful Beada once again for her support and patience with our varied amounts of French. The ladies in the village bakery were also wonderfully cheerful each morning as we negotiated the language of French bread types. In all our joint family holidays this one got the highest score. As we watched the red sunset from the terrace on Friday, no one wanted to go home. Wishing you a good harvest in 2025 and all the best.

We were absolutely overwhelmed by beauty, tranquility and views surrounding the wonderful home. Such a privilege to spend time here forming special memories with the family - especially celebrating a significant birthday! Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.
