First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. My husband and I had a perfect week. (23rd to 29th of June 2025z Florence was the best host. The barn was just stunning. The photos really don’t do it justice. The facilities were among the best we’ve had. We have been going to Dordogne for 30 years with our family. This property with all the required amenities (and I mean ALL) was above and beyond what we were expecting. Florence had thought of everything even down to some very special luxury spa products. Hair products (including straighteners!. We were warmly welcomed with a smile and more than sufficient welcome pack. All that we needed for evening and the following morning. Including wine! She really was the best owner we have met. It was such a pleasure meeting her and staying for the perfect week in her beautiful barn. We had an invited evening with aperitifs in the garden. Delightful company. All the health and safety information was given to us on arrival with a phone number we could call at anytime, for anything. The pool was absolutely perfect. We had a huge choice of entertainment from games, books, music but we were just amazed that this including Netflix!! Perfect for an evening relaxing on the very comfortable couches. Eymet is also just 15 minutes drive away and has a very good range of exceptional restaurants, cafes and boutiques, antique shops etc. A beautiful historic town. We really can’t rate Florence and her wonderful accommodation highly enough. Our sincere thanks go to her for helping to make our peaceful week away from it all. So very memorable. I forgot to add our absolute joy of having air con all around the house!!!! The icing on the cake!!! Thanks again
Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). Thanks Anna and James for letting us use your beautiful house.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. Boat rider, inflatables and picnics. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival... Yvonne has been a perfect host... great advice and support. Thank you so much.

Just returned from an outstanding holiday at the Orchard Farmhouse! The pool and grounds were just fantastic - it did help with three days at 30+ degrees! We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Lavinière! The pool was fantastic, the views were beautiful and the surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. Despite the heat, we slept wonderfully thanks to the air conditioning. In a sentence: Simply lovely!

Absolutely blissful stay. Beautiful home. The pool was perfect. Views outstanding. Communication was spot on. Wonderful place to have a holiday. Would go back in an instant.
A beautiful house in stunning location. The saltwater pool, dinners and lunches on the terrace overlooking the hills, valleys and wildlife could be enjoyed even if you did nothing but stay in the house. The attentiveness and help given by the home’s guardian was perfect and made the experience incredibly easy. Despite the temptation to stay in the house for a week, we made many trips to surrounding areas. We and our families really enjoyed the nearby horse-riding (a proper hack!), lake trips (the Italian restaurant at Lac des Vannades being a favorite restaurant, a tour of the observatory with nighttime stargazing and walks into the village. Friday night in St Michel is not to be missed too - the whole village was out at the Tabac and restaurants, with plenty of singing and dancing in the streets. Nearby Forcalquier was buzzing with art and the best ice cream we’ve ever had in our lives (the gelateria, Flazzi) I’d also really recommend a trip to Banon - with a remarkable bookstore that has to be seen to be believed - and cheese shops that we did our best to empty of produce
We have just returned from two weeks holiday spent at the truly wonderful Domaine de Nérige. The photos on the website are fantastic, but are still not as good as the real thing! There is everything you could possibly want and the comfort is exemplary, but what makes this the very best property we have ever had (and we have had a lot over the years, all over France!) is the care and attention to our comfort and enjoyment from Sandie and David who own it. Nothing was too much trouble and their friendliness and kindness was so lovely that frankly, by the time we left, it felt like we were leaving family behind! Whatever you do, try all of the wines (and beers) handily stocked for you – they are excellent and the food Sandie prepared for us was fabulous - don't skimp on the desserts, you'll regret it if you do! It is no surprise and no mystery that Domaine de Nérige is booked up so far in advance. If you have a bucket list of holidays, put this one at the very top and you will not regret it. We had the most wonderful holiday and unreservedly recommend Domaine de Nérige, as we have to everyone we have spoken to. Thank you so much Sandie and David for letting us live in your glorious home for two weeks, it was unforgettable – just like the two of you.
We had an absolutely lovely time! Both the accommodation and village were absolutely beautiful. We'll definitely recommend it. I just wish we'd been there whilst all the surrounding sunflowers were in bloom. That must look spectacular.

We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in Sarlat. Sarlat and the surrounding area has so much to offer. We enjoyed the local markets, a trip to Chateau Der Milandes and of course canoeing down the Dordogne river. The location of the house is amazing, just a few minutes walk into the centre. With the first week of our stay the temperature were in the high 30s and the pool was an absolute godsend-a real highlight for us, we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the weather.. The house itself was great and met all of our needs for a two week holiday. Thank you Jackie for all your help answering all my messages. Will be back soon.
I have stayed in this property twice now, once with family and once with a group. Both times have been excellent. The villa itself is large, spacious with all the facilities you will ever need and very well maintained. On the last visit, it was noticeable that money had been spent modernising the interior. The key asset is the large pool which is fantastic. We spent most of our time using the kitchen and barbeque area in the pool house and dipping in and out of the pool. Very relaxing. The grounds are large too so plenty of space for the kids to run around safely. Vidauban itself is a traditional French village with shops, cafés and restaurants around the town square etc. and slightly further afield good access to the Côte d'Azur, several water parks and the gorgeous and picturesque Lac du Verdon, with a plethora of water activities from windsurfing, to pedal boat rentals and of course a great number of Vineyards to sample the local Rose wine. Recommend very highly.
We all thank you for a beautiful holiday spent in your fantastic house. Breakfast in the garden, peace and wonderful flowers - that is what we will always remember. And maybe... we will return someday.

Villa La Baronne has been an absolute dream holiday! The house itself is beautifully decorated and a pleasure to stay in. We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities on site, especially splashing around in the pool, playing on the pool table and attempting to have a go at croquet. Villa La Baronne is also in a great location, short drives away from lots of restaurants and especially some playing fields which we enjoyed kicking a ball around on. We love it here! We don't want to go! Thank you!
We (family of four, 2 adults and 2 children) enjoyed a lovely week here in July. Fantastic with private pool which was cleaned every day, walking distance to pretty village and bakers, lovely and very welcoming hosts. The house contains two sweet bedrooms, large and relaxing lounge / kitchen area, outdoor kitchen and terrace plus a nice pavilion by the pool. Lots of games available including a table tennis table. Had a great week and happy to recommend.
We highly recommend this place! We stayed with a family of 8 people and had a wonderful stay. The swimming pool is great, there is a ping pong table and a big and beautiful garden. There are a lot of different terraces to sit/hangout/have lunch and dinner. The kitchen is well equipped, there's a large stove and a BBQ for outside cooking. It's quiet and there's a lot of privacy. Sam and her husband are very friendly, communicative and helpful. We rented the electric bikes for two days and enjoyed the beautiful and rustique surroundings. There's a tennis court nearby that is very easy to arrange access to. Actually, we can't think of anything against the place, its really great!
We have at last found paradise in a place we could all share. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, peaceful house. The countryside for early morning sun, endless swim day and night. The bird watching and the lazing in the shade. We had great fun wine tasting locally and having been blessed with stunning weather we have had long al fresco meal every day. I think we have made the most of all the games and puzzles inside and out and no TV! À bientôt!
