Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!
We had a great time at the house - everything went smoothly. We also spent a fair bit of time exploring the general area although we always ended up back at the large table with a glass of rose taking in the view over the vines come end of day!
We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in La Picholine. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.
We celebrated a big family birthday at Château Mabrouke and enjoyed a welcoming and stunningly beautiful home, with great fun at the pool, tennis court, zipline and on the dance floor. The Pyrénées were the backdrop to the most glorious of settings. An unforgettable holiday.

The house is magnificent and lends itself to perfect moments of sharing. Its cozy side, its very complete equipment invite us to enjoy every moment. The rooms offer independence and great comfort. The whole family loved it. The view is magnificent at any time and the terrace becomes a pure joy with the first ray of sunshine. The surroundings have nothing to envy of Tuscany and this gentle way of life! Sandie and David were very friendly and met all our expectations. We will come back with pleasure.
Stunning - amazing space in and out with many places for children and adults to hide! Great, from well equipped kitchen to playroom. Childproofed but still lots of fun toys for dry and wet days. Great showers and all working brilliantly. Had a fantastic week - Very relaxed and love the set up here. Thank you all.
Mas Saint-Martial has everything you could wish for included in the price and everything was clean and tidy on our arrival with a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. Verteillac is only 10 minutes away and has some lovely little shops and the local area has excellent markets also. One of the best restaurants we found was Le Cours de Miracles in Verteillac which has beautiful food at a very reasonable price. We received a really warm welcome from the owners, who live next door. They were always on hand if we needed anything, but very discreet also and gave us total privacy.
The property was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would recommend staying there to anyone. I will definitely be back to stay there again.

We would love to come back again x We have had an amazing week here at Maison La Pérouse. Oscar and Olive have both loved exploring the garden. Oscar has particularly enjoyed playing hide and seek in the wood, doing tricks on the trampoline and spotting fish in the pond. A beautiful spot. We loved the views and the new swimming pool. So wonderful to have a nice pool for early morning swims! Our boys loved the lonely grounds too. We enjoyed the night markets, castles and activities around.
Les Fumerates encompasses everything you dream about for a vacation on the Côte d'Azur. We were met by Michael and his wife who gave us a full tour of Les Fumerates. We unpacked and got to soak in the beauty of the place. From the moment we stepped in, we could tell that much love and care had been put into their home, down to the smallest of details. The location, absolutely perfect - next to one of the most beautiful hill towns in Southern France: Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Lovely place to explore and have an al fresco dinner. Don't miss Restaurant Le Tilleul and La Colombe d'Or. But also don't miss the chance of cooking your own dinner and eating al fresco at the villa. The view of the pool area, city and the azure sea in the distance all add to the dining experience! Les Fumerates is located in a perfect spot - away from the hustle and bustle of Nice, Cannes and Monte Carlo and yet easily accessible to these locations (truly). A supermarket, boulangerie and great shopping mall are all a short drive down the hill. We took the opportunity to see as much as we could see and as many places as we could see - yes, I need a vacation from my vacation! During France's heatwave, we were happy to return to the villa which had air conditioning in the main living area and all of the bedrooms. We also made good use of the gorgeous swimming pool. Reluctantly, we had to leave Les Fumerates and continue our journey to Provence. Without a doubt, we would like to return - but next time at a more leisurely pace! Depending on your itinerary for visiting the French Riviera, as there are so many places to see (we didn't even make it to Italy), I would urge you to consider 2 weeks at Les Fumerates. You won't regret it! Truly a memorable experience that will last a lifetime!
I wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you, we had a wonderful, relaxing week. The villa, garden and pool were all fabulous and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The villa has been finished to a very nice standard and we would definitely like to go back and we will be recommending it to our family and friends.
We have been renting in France for 5 years now and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Attention to detail throughout and a lovely garden and pool area which the children loved. The local village is so picturesque with fabulous restaurants.
This is our second time at Maison Allemans we absolutely love the house. When we arrived this year Dermod laid on a cold meat salad with wine and beer just heaven after a long drive from the uk Hopefully in a few years we can return with all our new grandchildren.

Thank you for letting us stay at this lovely stylish villa, one of the best we have ever stayed at. So well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Nardia recommended ‘Le Grand Frais’ supermarket at Carcassonne where we were able to buy some wonderful fresh produce on arrival and which saw us through the week. An absolutely fantastic place! Our week went so incredibly quickly. It is our second time in the Carcassonne area, but still so much to do and see. This time we discovered the Gorges de Galamus and the labyrinths at Nebias. Amazing! Short treks around the beautiful Villelongue were also so nice. We loved the compost recycling bin at the end of the commune. Very green! Thanks to Mike for sorting the awning for us on a very windy Sunday. Hope to be back!
Thank you so much for our lovely relaxing stay in your home. We have waited a couple of years due to covid and our boys (and ourselves) really enjoyed our stay. You made us feel so welcome and we have very muh enjoyed spending time in your garden watching regular visitors like woodpeckers, buzzards and barn owls, etc. We are already planning to come back and promise to visit more of the region. Wonderful home for a family vacation, amenities all on one level with nice pool with good alarm protection. Also a great place to live outside with pizza maker, BBQ and very easy to use functional kitchen. Lots of outside shaded seating areas. Air conditioning in bedrooms was a great benefit during hot weather. Lovely furnishings and felt like the home of a happy family. Easy access to boulangerie, supermarket and local restaurant - all less than 5 minutes walk. Thank you.
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Thank you for your hospitality. We really appreciated the breakfast items and the wine and cheese. The meal at Le Pourquoi Pas was amazing although we had a bit of an adventure finding it! Lovely weather in the first half of the week but a shame we had wind and rain in the last few days. Good meal at Pizzeria La Cremade in Béziers Villeneuvre - next to a lock on the Canal du Midi. Worth visiting the Nine Locks as well. Enjoyed the beach at Serignan. Merci Beaucoup. Thank you for petit velo.

We had a very good week at Le Manoir de la Compagnie. The property is very quiet, in a beautiful site (large garden, beautiful trees...). It is very well equipped: top bedding, sheets/towels/tea towels provided as well as shower gel and shampoo, large and well equipped kitchen, everything is well calibrated for a group of 12 adults. The rooms are large and well decorated. The owners are charming, available without being intrusive and have a family history that is interesting to discover. In short, I completely recommend this rental
We have had a very enjoyable fortnight in your beautiful house and gardens, despite the unfriendly weather. We go home feeling very relaxed. We enjoyed days out in Chinon, Fontevraud and several of the other places mentioned by others. Thank you for your hospitality, the wine, jam and bubbles. Hope you enjoyed Italy.
