We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. Thank you so much.
We have had the most wonderful time at Maison des Hirondelles. The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed, so clean, comfortable and well thought out. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Cédric. Our daughter Edie, who is 8 months old had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and very much enjoyed her first holiday here in France. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne, Gruissan, Minerve (fantastic chocolate shop!), Béziers, Canal du Midi with the 9 locks. Thank you for showing us your wine cellar, such a lovely touch. We would love to come back.
Perfectly equipped isolated house with magnificent view! We only occupied the villa and we felt very good there. There is a way to all be together around the pool or to isolate yourself in one of the many designated areas. Just one recommendation, don't forget your flip flops to go from the house to the pool because there is some gravel on the path.

Great Country Home in Domme. Eight of our family recently spent a few days in the Dordogne region greatly enjoying our home away from home, well located in Domme. Le Borghesia was a beautiful, very impressive and very old home renovated and appointed for today’s lifestyle. It is well located in a lovely country setting. Checking in and out was seamless. I would definitely recommend Le Borghesia to other travellers.
Thank you so much for letting the house to us. We had a fantastic 2 weeks and the house worked really well for us all with so much space and everything we needed to have a fantastic holiday. It is a beautiful spot and we all managed to enjoy things-swimming, walking, cycling, horse riding, wineries and particulary the evening markets. We really had a wonderful vacation.
My family had amazing stay here. We have 2 young kids (aged 1 and 5) and the apartment was clean, secure, modern appliances (including washer/dryer), ocean view and beautiful infinity rooftop pool. The bedrooms were a good size, easy to use temperature controls air conditioning and black out shades. A crib and a high chair were available at the apartment. There is a large supermarket/everything store across the street and the apartment exits right on the beach boardwalk, so easy walk to the marina and beach restaurants. I hope we get to return soon.
We had a wonderful two weeks at Château des Dragons. One week as a family of ten with two small children and the second week as four adults. The château worked perfectly for both. Plenty of privacy for all with a separate toilet and bathroom for each double room. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs and we were able to produce some delicious meals. The location of the château is ideal as it is very peaceful with beautiful well kept grounds. The owners responded to all our requests quickly and were really helpful. Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were a great help and led to some great experiences for us, including a balloon ride and local wine tasting. We had a car with us, which was useful to get around, but we also used the local taxi service, including the 9 seater - the taxi company was friendly and arrived on time. The pool, château and the grounds were immaculate and the outside areas were great for mealtimes. The antiques and artwork meant there was always something new to discover. All in all, would highly recommend and may well return.
Lovely retreat set amongst fruit trees. We stayed at Maison Meunier for the middle week of a three week honeymoon in France. After spending the previous week in Paris it was the perfect contrast allowing us to slow the pace down a little and put our feet up. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and helpful offering advice when required. They're based on site but away from the property in the main buildings. The accommodation itself is lovely and really well equipped with everything you could ever need. Outside, the pool is great for cooling off during sunbathing and the view from the terrace is beautiful with quince, apple and fig trees between the property and the nearby lake. We spent most evenings cooking on the barbecue with the fabulous local produce we picked up from the market or supermarket. Nearby there are a number of châteaux to explore and also traditional bastide towns to wander round and grab a coffee or cold glass of champagne. All in all, a lovely stay at a lovely place. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
Perfect place for vacation in Provence. We (two families – couple with a child in each) spent 9 nights in this place and used it as a base to visit the area. Only 45 minutes from the Marseille airport. The property is located in the small village just next to forest and if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. This is large charming house with big pool, green garden, private parking area, very well equipped kitchen (by all that you only can imagine). It is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. When we came back from our days out we rested up around the large dinner table outside until late and it was a real pleasure. We cooked breakfasts and lunches every day, big village supermarket with a lot of various delicious foods made our self catering easy and pleasant. Free Wi-Fi, TV and very reach films library were also a good surprise. The owners were very friendly and helpful; they supplied us with comprehensive information about all local attractions. This house met all our expectations and we can definitely recommend it for friends and families planning their vacation in Provence.
It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on La Picholine. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. We had a great one week vacation in Maison Lemance. The house is fully equipped and you will find everything you need in the kitchen, games room for the children, great pool and even a ping-pong table. There is a big and beautiful garden that is great for the children to run around, while we were drinking wine on the balcony. The owner left us a list of recommendations for activities and restaurants in the region which was very useful. We highly recommend staying in Maison Lemance.
We had a wonderful 10-day holiday with our family at the Château de Saussignac. The large swimming pool with the view over the vineyards was wonderful. The garden even had a small vegetable garden (the owners are cookbook writers) where we were allowed to pick all the herbs and vegetables. The beds are wonderful, the bathrooms and kitchen are complete. Across the street is a very good restaurant with lunches and dinners. The airport is a 30-minute drive and all shops are close by. The château is highly recommended and we will definitely come back!
What a fabulous place to call home for a week. The Château is incredible. The huge pool was a big hit with both the big and little kids, and there was so much space to relax. We loved it. Thank you.
Couldn't have asked for more from La Barde or its owner. La Barde was tranquil, comfortable and had everything you would need for a family holiday. The kitchen was so well equipped, it was amazing, the bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy. Everywhere was decorated beautifully and furnished thoughtfully. There was so much space throughout the house and gardens that even as a large family you would be able to find a quiet spot for some peace. The pool had a great shallow area for the toddlers, the garden was great for exploring. We will be returning next year without a doubt! Thank you!
We had the most wonderful week at Maison des Communes. Philippe was charming and very helpful and informative in his welcome and what a lovely surprise to see a beautiful array of cheeses and wines awaiting us! The villa is extremely well furnished and supplied, a delight to relax in and very well situated for exploring the region and nipping down to the many beautiful beaches along the coast. The three different accommodation areas were absolutely perfect for our party of eight, allowing privacy and relaxation for everyone, although most time was spent round and in the lovely pool and letting the nights darken as we sat sipping the local wines in the various outside areas. There is much to do and see in the area and the villa was a real haven to return to each day. What a great week: fabulous breakfast treats, elegant and artistic furnishings, glorious heat and sun in late August and the happiest of holidays. Merci beaucoup, Philippe!
Thanks to Marie-Christine and Olivier for their kindness, their availability and their excellent advice! The villa lives up to the photos and description and the location, in the heights of Saint-Raphaël, allows you to avoid the traffic down there! We recommend because we had a vacation as we hoped!
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in Les Oliviers du Sud. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.
An idyllic haven in the Gers countryside. The room was beautifully comfortable and had far- reaching views over the vines. Host, David, cooked us a sensational meal on the evening of our arrival as well as French breakfast of fruit, yogurts, bread and croissants, cheese, delicious preserves each morning. He was also a source of invaluable advice about the area - things to see and places to eat. A warm, welcoming chambre d’hote. Unhesitatingly recommended.
A wonderful location with stunning views and beautiful sunsets, Mas Saint Cernin was the perfect venue for a relaxing family holiday. The Grange itself was great in every aspect: from the space, cleanliness and tastefully decorated rooms, through to the general facilities and the exceptional warm hospitality from owners John and Lesley. The large and well appointed swimming pool where the five children in our group spent many hours splashing as children should on their summer holidays was used by us every day. There were pool toys plus plenty of sun loungers for all the group to relax on and soak up the rays within the secluded private garden. Mas Saint Cernin was a home-from-home in a beautiful part of France and we could quite happily have taken up residence; it was with regret that we had to wave farewell at the end of two glorious weeks.
We recently spent a week at Le Manoir des Sines and I have been trying to settle on the precise word to describe this property and our experience of it. That word is 'sublime'. Utterly sublime! We knew we were in for something special from the photo gallery and description of the property but nothing could prepare us for the magic of being there. Everything from the outdoor kitchen to the magnificent pool terrace to the cinema room to the resident nutri bullet– we had everything we wanted. We loved the white washed stone, the enormous sense of space that never made our group of nine feel lost, the gorgeous, rustic décor, the myriad paintings everywhere. Honestly, I can't imagine anything more sublime than a stay at Le Manoir des Sines.
Such a beautiful house ! The perfect week, heatwave, the pool... and the cheese ! Thank you - you have thought of everything to make the most idyllic French holiday.
