What an amazing week - we were looking for a place to chill and we found it! House had everything we needed. Pool was perfect, weather glorious - loved the baguette vending machine in the village - perfect! We explored Châteaubriant, Angers and Le Mans. Food stunning and Le Mans was definitely worth a visit. Thank you - we will be looking to returning soon.
This villa has the BEST vista of any we have stayed in across France and Italy! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the table under the canopy, eating, drinking and watching the changing colours of the sky over the beautiful rolling countryside. The pool was a good size with well-shaded seating and the villa was comfy and well equipped with everything we needed. A short walk into the village was rewarded with a lovely restaurant (only open Thursday to Sunday), a local bar (where we joined a lively group of locals to watch a couple of the Euro matches!), a tabac and epicerie where most emergency supplies could be bought. Fresh bread and pastries were available from both - order the day before or be there at 8am! We found plenty of lovely towns to explore within an hour's drive. Communication with Alissa was excellent before and during our stay; she really could not have been more helpful.
Wow, what a great place! During our stay there was nothing else we could have wished for. The awesome pool area, the great BBQ, the comfortable (sun)beds and beautiful bathrooms; everything was top notch. Enjoying the local wines, the pretty surroundings and fantastic golf course with our friends made this stay like it should be... Holiday! We hope to come back!
Five star accommodation Five star hosts Two weeks of mixed weather, but we read, swam, ate, drank and walked - into the village for some lovely lunches Courtesy of Reme and co. We were made to feel like part of the community. The local Butcher (Thierry - Sunday and Thursday am), a must, in fact we were his first customers on one Thursday (pate Basque very good) Only ventured out once, except for hyper market shopping for a bit of Cahors tasting at Domaine du Garinet. Will be back as fast as possible.
Had a lovely stay here! Really pretty, sociable, stylish villa with amazing views from the terrace. Great location - short walk to shops and short drive to surrounding towns / beaches / lakes.

I just wanted to drop you an email to say how much we are enjoying our stay. The house is delightful, the pool gorgeous and the pretty gardens are totally secure for our dog who is currently snoozing under the old olive tree! Philippe is charming and totally respectful of our need for privacy. The house has exceeded our expectations and you fulfilled our brief perfectly. We are actually considering 2 weeks here again next year.
We came in search of relaxation and found everything that we were looking for. 2 weeks of sun, pool, fabulous house, food, wine and fun. All topped off every day gazing at the amazing night sky full of stars. Thank you for a great stay.
We have been staying here with our grown up children who have not been to this area before, and have loved the house and the area. The weather has been so hot! So we really appreciated the wonderful pool. A great kitchen which we have used extensively and adore having every meal outside. Thank you for your help and your lovely house.
I loved this holiday. I love sport so I sent most of my days in the gorgeous pool, I would practice my swimming and then float around and look at the blue sky. I loved the tennis court and spend hours practicing my forehand. The château is so pretty, it could have been made up. Any kid would love this place.
A fantastic house and a credit to the owner, the facilities are superb and could not be bettered. The area around Nyons is beautiful, we are familiar with Beaume de Venise, but this part has a charm of its own. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this premier class house.

We have been here for a week and have throughly enjoyed ourselves. The house has been a delight and is well equipped with different seating and eating areas. Doug and Nick our hosts have been very helpful. We have really enjoyed our time here.
Fantastic stay in beautiful tranquil location. House perfct. Shame to have to leave Friday in race for the tunnel and to avoid quarantine but well worth the trip here and back. Rested and relaxed.

This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
We recently enjoyed a very memorable and enjoyable stay. This luxurious property was comfortable, well presented and very clean. The views from the property are exceptional and the horizon swimming pool is everybody's dream. The location provides good access to Saint Paul de Vence and to the surrounding region and thus is a great location to base yourself and to see the local features.
We came for the birthday of my mam together with the rest of the family. The house is very comfortable and relaxed, we could even use the chimney. We’ve welcomed by Frédéric and his great flower arrangements. We had a fantastic week. The pool was great, lots of space in the house. Very nice accommodation. Host is very friendly. Maison Joigneaux is a perfect place to stay when visiting the region. We couldn't have wished for a better place to spend our extended weekend with friends.
Comfort and good taste reign in this house. Fields as far as the eye can see, the Dordogne just a stone's throw away. We feel good in this family home. Quality services. The owners have ensured our comfort and have provided us with good recommendations to enjoy the wonders of this region.
We stayed with our 2 children aged 5 and 7 and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of things to do nearby and the accomodation was well equiped and great for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful for long hot afternoons and there is lots of outdoor space to explore. The hosts were very helpful and I would recommend this place to my friends.
We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. We spent a week with two families (9 people) aged 6 -70 in Le Mas Repenti and we had the most wonderful time. It is nestled in the glorious vineyards with views of the hills in the distance. The house itself has been lovingly restored and every inch is perfectly presented. Stunning furniture, decorations and soft furnishings. It is charming and yet completely comfortable – the master bedroom is like the best suite in any hotel! The grounds are beautiful and the boules pitch and swingset were a big hit with the children. The pool is perfect with plenty of loungers for everyone and a great pool house area for getting some shade and having a drink. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. Every pot, pan and serving dish you could ask for along with plates and glasses for an army! The terrace was wonderful and the huge table very accommodating of our feasts. We did not experience much intrusion from bugs, other than a few mozzies who battled through our Jungle Formula! We loved the local vineyards – several within a 5 minute drive. Our favourite was the rose from Château Beaumel. Highly recommend this home for an extremely relaxing and authentically French experience!
