The Ramparts was exactly what we all needed after the last two and a half years. Spacious, very well appointed and with a beautiful garden and pool. My wife and I seldom do quiet holidays, we're more inclined to explore, visit and generally get out and about, but not this time and the house and the village it sits in were perfect for this. Puimission is a lovely unspoiled little place. True there's not much there, but that was just fine, a Tabac, cafe and restaurant were all that was needed. Your house had so much space to stretch and breathe, despite there being seven of us there. It was never crowded, never busy, no one was falling over each other, it was the perfect spot just to be. Pure France was helpful and efficient without drama and your emails and guides were invaluable. I have not previously dealt with an agency and owner who were so joined-up and in tune and it made a really difference both to the anticipation of the holiday and to our stay itself. Possibly the greatest compliment I can pay you is that it only took about 36 hours before one of our party, I think it was our youngest, suggested that we should get it booked for next year! Time will tell, but I would have no hesitation in coming back and I'll happily recommend The Ramparts to anyone looking for a truly relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. Your service was exceptional and for that we are all deeply grateful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cherry Farmhouse. The outside BBQ area and pool, were the highlight of the holiday with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside, which were ladened in bowing sunflowers. The area was just so peaceful. Both our girls adored the pool which was just perfect for two young budding swimmers. Property was well equipped and the hosts, Stephane and Cathy were lovely and very attentive. Thank you for the lovely tomatoes!! A perfect holiday, lots to see and do, to which we hope to repeat again soon!
We had a lovely stay in your gorgeous house. Everything was so well appointed and we enjoyed full size of the lovely pool and outdoor areas. We explored the local towns. Would recommend the castle of Duras and Monsegur’s Friday market. We ate at the Vigiers Castle Bistro Restaurant which served some delicious meal and apple tarts. It was also full at 8 pm on Tuesday night so book in advance. We also tried Mélange in Saussignac. We had the best food we ever had all holiday. Very interesting and intensive meals. A day trip to St-Émilion was another highlight 50 minute drive, we stopped at Château Ambre Tour Pourret for a wine tasting which we didn’t have to book in advance. A fabulous holiday all around.

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful house, charming and perfectly equipped. The swimming pool is very pleasant, the rooms to live and the rooms offer a very comfortable atmosphere. We were won over.

A beautiful home in a beautiful village, so much hospitality and the house had everything we needed. We did not want to leave! :) La Table de Jean is a much recommended restaurant, fantastic food and people. Lovely stay.

Great feeling of space with plenty of room for children to play. Pool was superb and much used. The childrens swimming skills improved immensely. Thank you Takayla for lovely food and for accommodating late arrival and intolerances. Nick and Takayla were available and friendly without being intrusive. A fantastic time was had by all the family. Many thanks and looking forward to next year already.
We stayed au Mas with its two double bedrooms (which were huge) and two twins all with beautiful bathrooms. The husbands had wanted to 'walk' to the local shops in the morning and stumble home from the local bars in the evening. In hind sight, neither were a problem, the area was stunning and we had the upmost peace. I can not explain, the shear size of the place and the decor is stunning. We would love to return again one day.
We had a fabulous time at Joli Fleuron and probably spent more time in the house because we didn’t want to leave! Managing to provide luxury yet child-friendly. The whole family enjoyed the pool, games on the lawn, movie nights in the lounge and eating and drinking every night on the terrace. All holidays should be like this! Perfect. We would love to come back.

We had the most wonderful time at Villa La Baronne. I think our children spent most of their time in the pool. Beautifully decorated house with plenty of space for all our family.

Great stay in Margon, Helen is very responsive and available. We had 2 babies and the equipment (high chairs and cots) was available. I would definitely recommend this place to relax and visit the area. Thanks again to Helen for her trust.

In the 30 or so years we have been coming to France for our holidays I don't think we have stayed in a more lovely house. A very tranquil spot, with everything we could possibly need. We have enjoyed our stay immensely, whether lying by the pool or venturing out further to the beaches or the Verden Gorges, all wonderful. Thank you for sharing your well loved home, the view from the swing seat is to die for!
We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Château Entre-Deux-Mers. I was delighted by the charm of this château. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all : it's situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available). So we can certainly recommend this place!
Spacious and beautiful house and grounds. Shaded areas a welcome balance. Very child and baby friendly. Lovely pool. Everything thought of and provided for a 3 generation family. Toys / DVDs / Books perfectly stocked. Playroom and comfortable seating a huge bonus. The WII very much appreciated! Food delicious and in perfect quantities. Very helpful to have options - prepared and / or catered. Thoughtful and considerate catering for children.
The château has been a fabulous place to stay - a unique combination of grandeur and homely comfort. The facilities are superb and typically rural French. The owner received us graciously into her home with a warm welcome. Jean-Marie was a marvel - really helpful and quick to respond to any requests we had. The local area has so much history all around yet there is something for everyone. Châteaux galore everywhere. Would definitely recommend canoeing the Dordogne - if you can manage the trek to canoe past Castelnaud that would be an amazing trip - we set off from St Cyprien which was great too, but the views past Castelnaud would be amazing. We have been lucky with the weather so the children (and adults) have had lots of fun by the pool. Thank you for your hospitality.
A wonderful location with stunning views and beautiful sunsets, Mas Saint Cernin was the perfect venue for a relaxing family holiday. The Grange itself was great in every aspect: from the space, cleanliness and tastefully decorated rooms, through to the general facilities and the exceptional warm hospitality from owners John and Lesley. The large and well appointed swimming pool where the five children in our group spent many hours splashing as children should on their summer holidays was used by us every day. There were pool toys plus plenty of sun loungers for all the group to relax on and soak up the rays within the secluded private garden. Mas Saint Cernin was a home-from-home in a beautiful part of France and we could quite happily have taken up residence; it was with regret that we had to wave farewell at the end of two glorious weeks.
