We spent a week at Le Borghesia this winter and have excellent memories of it: a typical house of the Périgord Noir with its huge fireplace and its tastefully renovated golden stone, all the modern comforts and necessary equipment. Large garden where the children could have fun, calm surroundings and proximity to Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac and some of the most beautiful castles and villages in the region, availability and kindness of the owners, we can't wait to come back!
We have just returned from two weeks holiday spent at the truly wonderful Domaine de Nérige. The photos on the website are fantastic, but are still not as good as the real thing! There is everything you could possibly want and the comfort is exemplary, but what makes this the very best property we have ever had (and we have had a lot over the years, all over France!) is the care and attention to our comfort and enjoyment from Sandie and David who own it. Nothing was too much trouble and their friendliness and kindness was so lovely that frankly, by the time we left, it felt like we were leaving family behind! Whatever you do, try all of the wines (and beers) handily stocked for you – they are excellent and the food Sandie prepared for us was fabulous - don't skimp on the desserts, you'll regret it if you do! It is no surprise and no mystery that Domaine de Nérige is booked up so far in advance. If you have a bucket list of holidays, put this one at the very top and you will not regret it. We had the most wonderful holiday and unreservedly recommend Domaine de Nérige, as we have to everyone we have spoken to. Thank you so much Sandie and David for letting us live in your glorious home for two weeks, it was unforgettable – just like the two of you.
Thank you both so much for a magical 5-night stay. We have absolutely loved staying here and will miss it when we go home! The gîte is amazing, beautiful inside and out. We really appreciate all of your efforts for making our stay so comfortable. Such a lovely touch having fresh bread, eggs and veg from your garden waiting for us - perfect. Spent a lovely week here, Lived up to all our expectations. Wonderful setting with splendid views. Plenty of room to seat all of us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the sun or shade. The house wanted for nothing.

We had a wonderful week with family and friends in this beautiful, superbly restored house. Calm, tranquility, countryside, vineyards, large heated swimming pool, games room, wooded park, bowling green, shaded terrace, everything has made you feel good in this house. Very pleasant rooms with private bathroom for almost all, large living room with lounge, very well equipped kitchen... and very generous packed lunch on arrival… Thank you Tracy for the welcome.
Maison Baleyssagues is lovely. It’s as nice as the photos, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped and the pool area and outside terraces are charming, one with wonderful views and sunsets. The property manager is extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help with some issues we had. Thank you! We’ll be back.

The villa was just as described and was perfect in every way. We chose the villa because everything was on one level and the pool and terrace area were located very close to the main house. We had the most wonderful time and the arrangement of the bedrooms meant we had plenty of space to relax in. The BBQ area was well used. The air conditioning was welcomed during the warm Mediterranean nights. It was also the first villa we have stayed in where we were able to walk to the local town in order to buy our daily croissants. The service we had from Pure France and Philippe was exceptional. Nice and clean house in a very quiet area. Each room has a bathroom, so it's perfect for several families. Beautiful and large fenced pool, ideal for children. The picnic table under the trees is great when it's hot. I would recommend the house to everyone.
Thank you for making Domaine de Nérige such a beautiful place to stay in, it was a fabulous time had by all. Fantastic weather, food and fun. We never wanted to leave and didn't except to fill the fridge. I hope to return with more friends and family if I can and share the experience with them. Until the next time.

Wow! You have a piece of perfection right here! I've been so relaxed during 2 weeks here. The pool has been my solace along with the hot sunshine. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a lovely place with lots of lovely shops and fantastic markets. Thank you for letting us stay. I hope to return.
My family had a fantastic 3-week holiday in La Barde, a beautifully renovated farmhouse. So fantastic, in fact, that we secured a repeat booking for the following year prior to departing. We found the property extremely spacious, sympathetically renovated, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for family day-to-day living. The securely gated pool is perfect for children and we all looked forward to cooling off there each afternoon after exploring the various local food markets and other wonderful excursions. The pool is actually quite large, which meant that the keener members of our party could exercise properly and swim lengths whilst the rest of us happily relaxed and drank local wines. The shallow end is ideal for young children to play or practice their swimming and there is a slightly separate paddling pool which is perfect for babies and toddlers. There is a barn area with a large BBQ, which we used most evenings, a ping pong table and lots of lawn games. The courtyard, lawn and gardens are obviously lovingly cared for and just beautiful. La Barde is the perfect setting for children to play and for family and friends to relax, talk, eat and drink. Helen and John gave us a warm welcome and were happy to help with any information we needed. They kindly shared some delicious fruit from their garden with us, which we very much enjoyed cooking and eating. We think this is the perfect place for groups of friends or families to holiday together and celebrate special occasions (it would be an amazing place to host a wedding or spend Christmas) because the size and the layout of the house and grounds mean there is plenty of space for more than one family to be together as well as enough space to have privacy. The location is ideal in terms of exploring the Dordogne. We would highly recommend booking this property any time of the year. We couldn’t believe our luck and can’t wait to return again this summer!
If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay in Provence, we highly recommend this estate (La Bastide 1718) for 8 days to accommodate 35 people for our wedding. We had planned activities throughout the week: hiking, yoga, visiting the butterfly garden without forgetting a visit to a cellar. Our group loved it! We organized the welcome reception, the wedding ceremony, the wedding lunch, dinner and the post brunch at various locations in the Bastide. It was so magical that we thought we were in a dream. The property still has a few things to improve for event planning and long stays but Thomas was welcoming and once there everything was perfect. The wine is also delicious. We love their 10 Euro rosé and drank cases of it during our stay. Their white wines are also very, very good. Their wine is delicious and hard to find in the United States! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. It will clear your mind as you are surrounded by nature, wildlife and vineyards that stretch endlessly. We enjoyed hiking right next to the property every morning. For a city break, you are 45 minutes from the coast, 40 minutes from old Hyères, which is our favorite Provençal town and 10 minutes from a Michelin star restaurant in La Celle. We highly recommend. Their olive oil is also delicious!

Great house, wonderful weather, lovely city. We loved the pool, the bike ride along the Canal du Midi, we enjoyed having space in a rented house. The decoration of the house is very well done and we feel very relaxed now.

And what can we say about the memorable adventures we experienced, as well as the breathtaking view of Provence and the majestic Pont du Gard during our breakfasts. We've had an excellent time in this beautiful villa. Sunbathing by the pool, swimming and rock climbing (just some of the things we've done). We hope to be back next year.
It is beautiful spot... We loved the pool and the views and wild-life spotting. We would recommend Poltrot as a beautiful spot for food and a paddle in the river, Grottes de Villars is well worth a visit with kids to see the cave paintings. Aubeterre and Brantôme beautiful.
