We enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks in this lovely house. The pool was very popular (due to the August heatwave - most days were 30 - 33 degrees). It was nice to be given a guided tour of the property by Yvonne and be welcomed with flowers and wine. The house has so much character - It would be lovely to learn a little more about its history and former occupants. We loved lots of the al fresco dining and one particularly memorable cheese and wine night in the candlelit wine cellar! Île de Ré, La Rochelle, Cognac, Marais poitevin are all we worth visiting. Make sure you take a look at the stars on a clean night - we spotted a few shooting stars!
Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.
This was the second time we stayed at Maison Bosquet. It is not without reason that we return to this place. Once again we had a very pleasant time for our holiday. A beautiful and well-equipped house in a nice location. Facilities are well maintained. Good base for the area. But also a perfect place to relax, while the children enjoyed the pool.
A stay in immaculate cottage with small front garden and very large pool adjoining the owners beautiful historic house. Charming hosts, very helpful when needed, otherwise considerately discreet. Lovely area with lots to do and visit. Would certainly recommend it for a relaxing holiday.
We had a wonderful time at Domaine de Nérige – it is a truly stunning property in every respect and we are looking forward to sampling other Pure France properties in the future.

It's hard to know where to start with this wonderful home, the inside and outside are so special its impossible to choose a 'best bit'! I didn't know this part of France at all and whilst it was a wonderful discovery, the château itself stands head and shoulders above its surroundings (literally) with his jaw dropping views. 360 degrees of rolling hills, almost no building in sight and just the sheep and their charming bells the only signs of neighbours. The pictures simply can't do it justice. The house itself is extremely luxurious in its proportions and furnishings. The main difference to other holiday homes is that it is so evidently a comfortable home. We had one rainy day on our trip and the excuse to be inside for the evening with the fire and comfortable sofa's was a great treat. The mixed accommodation is wonderful, with the farm house next to the château and the two charming cottages in the grounds. Very much one for a gang of friends or large family. The owners provide some brilliant suggestions on what to do when venturing further afield - should you want to! But there seem to be endless possibilities, in our brief 10 days we discovered so much and feel we could happily come back every year for 10 years and still be finding new spots. The castle at Foix is an absolute must for children and for adults, if you don't want to go parachuting after your market trip to beautiful Mirepoix the Michelin restaurant 8 minutes away in Camon is a must. But equally with the tennis court, heated pool, choice of terraces to eat on, chapel, lake and boat it would be entirely possible to spend a happy week going no where at all. Perhaps apart from a trip down the drive to Olivier and Marielle's informal shop. Heaven.
We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful house. We loved the swimming pool, table tennis and all outdoor seating areas. Thank you ! We hope to return some day.
Very good welcome. Cleanliness of the house, space, functionality, pool safety, baby equipment, everything was there. The surrounding setting of course is wonderful. Quality restaurants close by. Family stay that we were able to fully enjoy. Recommended, to be repeated.

Our whole family has thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saint-Sulpice. You are to be congratulated on the marvelous job you have done in creating this haven of peace and quiet and blend of ancient and modern. The house is beautifully renovated and furnished and the ensuite facilities to every bedroom almost persuade me to do something about my own bathroom! Beyond the house the pool and pool house are just super. We have had lots of fun en-famille. Two great weeks. And what superb hosts you have been – helpful informative, attentive, agreeable at all times – and ready to spring into action at the least alarm – thank you. We have thoroughly enjoyed being here. Restorative. With many thanks for your attention to detail. Still seeing pictures and objects in the house for the first time after 2 whole weeks. God bless. Lovely hospitality…
This was a lovely relaxing week for Clive and myself and our two doggies. Thank you Richard and Meryl for being so welcoming and helpful. Also thank you for all the goodies you left in the gîte including treats for the dogs - very thoughtful Everything in the house was immaculate and to such a high standard. We spent a lot of our time visiting many of the local villages for lunch. We would particularly recommend the Auberge at Bardigues and Hotel d'horologic at Auvillar - very nice!
Thanks to Marie-Christine and Olivier for their kindness, their availability and their excellent advice! The villa lives up to the photos and description and the location, in the heights of Saint-Raphaël, allows you to avoid the traffic down there! We recommend because we had a vacation as we hoped!
The accommodation is beautiful in a quiet (somewhere nowhere). A very beautiful property with old trees and delicious fruit trees. The pool is large and with salt water instead of chlorine. The interior of it is tastefully decorated. Stan is a friendly host. FortThose who want to be calm, spacious and relaxed you are at the right place.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your château - old and young, we all had a rejuvenating, enjoyable and truly relaxing stay.

The gite is beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the hosts Kirstie and Russell have made sure you have everything you need for your break. There is a lovely private seating area outside with dining area, hot tub and patio which looks out onto the orchard and fields. Wonderful place to stay in a great location for visiting local vineyards and historical towns and villages.
We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house in this stunning location. The sunflowers fields are just gorgeous and we will forever have fond memories of Gascony and the sunflowers. We can recommend your property for its lovely gardens and delightful salon de thè! Thank you for a lovely week.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and above all cozy villa. Very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The beautiful vintage cuisine is a highlight. The bathrooms were also very stylish and spacious. The large garden on several floors is dreamy. Especially when the many flowers bloom. The mountain views were magnificent and an absolute haven of peace compared to noisy and busy city life at home. The manager Sophie is a very enjoyable and friendly person! Very accommodating and always available. Thank you so much! We will be back!!!

Fabulous elegant stay. Just returned from a fantastic stay at Manoir Capraise. We only had a week at this fantastic house but it was very memorable. The main house and gîte have been beautifully and tastefully restored. There is great quality and attention to detail throughout from the lovely terraces / landscaping / pool / vegetable garden to the quality furnishings and equipment . Many a lovely meal was enjoyed admiring the fantastic location from the multiple outdoor seating areas on the terraces. The gîte provided a great independent area for teenagers and the well equipped gym was a bonus, plans for a games room will further enhance this great property. We appreciated a lovely welcome package of local wine and produce, another quality touch. Thank you Mark and Sarah, everything was just perfect, we hope to return again.

Not only do you have a truly beautiful house in a fantastic location, but your hospitality, support and advice allowed us to relax and enjoy our break to the full. We had a very good holiday in Eva's cottage. Everything was in order It is a very spacious house, with large (bathroom), with a soothing terrace with a large swimming pool. Perfect for a group trip.Communication with Eva went very well.
Just wanted to say we had a fantastic time at La Pinede- what a lovely place in such a beautiful area and really well equipped. We wished we had booked 3 weeks!
