A fabulous, beautiful château with all we could ever have needed. We all had a wonderful time and hope we can come back again.
Gorgeous villa with a breathtaking views! The villa was modern with quality features. The kitchen with an outsized breakfast bar opens up to a comfortable living room that overlooks a spectacular 180° view, which we enjoyed from sunrise to sunset. You can walk to town within 5 minutes, although there is a steep portion of the road, which has a large selection of gourmet restaurants and light shopping. We highly recommend this villa.
Welcoming and available hosts, the decoration is sophisticated and the setting is exotic!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The private, secluded setting was just what we needed. We used th eoutdoor kitchen all the time, such a wonderful addition to the property. We will be back!
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.

Just to say we really enjoyed staying here. Lovely and relaxing just like being at home, especially with the ponies down the lane and swimming every day and visiting the Dordogne valley, beautiful.
We spent a super long week at Villa Saint-Honorat. The place, the view and the swimming pool are magnificent! I highly recommend!
For once, the house was better than the photos ! Quality and tasteful interior and magnificent garden. Well maintained pool. Lovely countryside walks nearby. Great local restaurants. Don't miss a visit to Minerve, a traditional Cathar town. A fabulous holiday.
One of the greatest holidays of all time! We could not have had a better week in this magnificent chateau - so perfectly equipped for chill and fun with days by the pool and meals on the terrace. We never felt the need to leave other than the inevitable rosé top-ups - we ate and drank like kings and queens. Some very fond memories to last us until our next visit - we hope!
Fabulous week learning about wine in an amazing setting. Manoir Lemance is the most wonderful, tranquil and stylish place I have stayed in France and I have stayed in many. The owners have taken great care and attention in restoring the beautiful buildings, choosing the internal furnishings and creating the amazing swimming pool and grounds. We were warmly welcomed and looked after really well all week. The local area is full of amazing villages, great vineyards and beautiful countryside. If you are looking for a very French holiday with the added support of English speaking hosts, in the most beautiful setting, then this is the place for you.
We went as four couples to spend New Year's Eve and it was sensational. The house is very welcoming and comfortable. 4 bedrooms with their bathroom. The combined kitchen-dining-room-livingroom is wide, comfortable and functional. The Perfect heating. The hostess responded almost immediately to the inquiries we made. The town is also very small and quiet. A highly recommended place.
Our stay here is excellent: we have all what we need for a great vacation in your very cosy house with fantastic, but relaxing views on sunflowers and the Pyrénées. Great thanks for the basket you left for us, we appreciate this! We knew it quickly: this week will be by far too short…
We have just returned from Château Picol after a wonderful family holiday with seven adults and five children. On arrival at this historical château we were greeted by the owners who showed us around their magnificent château with its beautiful antique furniture. They had provided a Welcome Pack of local food delicacies and essentials. The rooms were generous in size and decorated in keeping with the period. The kitchen was fitted with modern appliances and provided everything you may need. The rear terrace sited a larger table where we could all dine together and also barbecue. The heated pool was a great success especially with the children. The extensive wooded grounds were perfect for exploring and playing games. A tranquil place to unwind.
What a fabulous three weeks we have had staying with you at the Loft again. Thank you again for all your hard work preparing the Loft for our arrival and, of course, for your oh so warm hospitality! So many new memories for us to take home and we are coming to terms with the Boules Trophy making its way to Guernsey this year! Thank you so much for accommodating all the comings and goings of our family and friends again this year. As ever, we have loved spending time with with you and it's great to reflect that visit number four is already booked for 2020. We know we'll be in touch in the meantime.
We had a wonderful stay at Kim's place. The house is perfect, the terrace is quiet and has magnificent views of the fields. The little ones had great fun with the goats, geese, chickens and pony!
We have had a fabulous time at Villa Baleyssagues. The house itself is beautiful, just as advertised but in reality far much better and exceeded our expectations. We have spend mots days by the pool and in the pool, having experienced great weather, taking full advantage of the equipment and facilities available to us at the Villa. The surroundings and grounds are stunning providing us a relaxing and peaceful . We are very sad to be leaving after a very memorable and enjoyable holiday. We will definitely looking to book an other holiday here as soon as we can.
We cannot think of a more wonderful house and beautiful location for a superb holiday. You have been the most perfect hosts. We have loved our early morning walks in the countryside - the perfect backdrop for our engagement.

Utterly charming property with wonderful views across the landscape. The property has a tasteful appearance and matched by comfortable furnishings and very well appointed. The swimming pool terrace is a superb elevated location from which to appreciate the beautiful scenery of the surrounding villages. The rooms are all a good size as are the unspoilt and private gardens, which are well stocked and quite attractive. We had a superb vacation with friends and we would certainly return again in the future. The local villages are blessed with an array of shops selling good quality local produce, as well as a selection of restaurants, bars, café s etc and we would recommend some of the local vineyards for excellent Rose du Provence wines. Highly recommended.
The bed gave us the best sleep ever. We just wanted to write and thank you both properly for sharing your beautiful home in Saint Paul de Vence. Our week was magical and the Pool Apartment was perfect to relax and unwind. The bed gave us the best sleep ever (we've even decided to buy one!). Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites! We have been to Maison Baleyssagues so many times and once again it has been a wonderful time. There's so much to entertain here and it gets the family together. I don't want to leave but I still have home.
