We have had a very relaxing holiday, some by the pool days and some exploring the Loire Valley, vineyards, châteaux, beautiful villages. House, pool and hammock were amazing!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this superb villa. Enjoyed it all the views, the pool, the food and especially the peace and tranquility. Thank you to all that helped our stay be so lovely. PS: Loved the little touches in the house - the fresh flowers etc…

The villa is superb and very well appointed: the kitchen is ideal for a group. The rooms are tastefully decorated and offer the services of a beautiful hotel. The holiday went by too quickly!
We were able to have a great week with friends at this house, which matched the photos perfectly. The host is very accommodating and accommodating. Amenities are complete, different living spaces are spacious, the pool area is a real plus. I'd recommend it!
We had a great week at Maison Lemance in August. We were two families with grown up children and partners but there was still plenty of space for everyone. The extensive garden and terrace was ideal for outside dining and chilling out around the pool in the sunshine as well as providing more energetic activities such as table tennis, badminton and boules. With no light pollution, there was some stunning night time star gazing. The house was well equipped to accommodate and cater for our large party. For those who wanted to drag themselves away from the pool, there was plenty to do including bustling night markets and trips to Bergerac and Cahors. Sam was a terrific host and was very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay.
Thanks to everyone there for your help. We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was everything you said it would be. Thanks also for your reassurance during covid. We were so pleased we went.
A Haven of Happiness and Hospitality The Cluzel Converted Barn has exceeded all our expectations. We arrived wanting a welcome week of relaxation, peace and leisurely exploration and it has delivered everything we could hope for and more. The home, because that is what it feels like, is spacious, fully equipped and is designed and furnished to the highest standards. The beautiful ceiling fans offered a quiet breeze in the evening after beautiful sunny days. It was hot! So it was such a treat to have a clean, salt-based pool to relax around – oh how we will miss it! Danielle is a generous and kind host – nothing appeared too much trouble – from tips for off the beaten excursions to recommendations for bakeries, vegetarian restaurants and shopping trips. Everyone we met in the Lot Valley has been so friendly and welcoming. Thank you!
We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house in this stunning location. The sunflowers fields are just gorgeous and we will forever have fond memories of Gascony and the sunflowers. Belle Vue is Wonderful! Impressive and yet cosy, comfortable house that enjoys the most spectacular views of the Dordogne Valley. We have stayed at Belle Vue a number of times and still long to return to soak up its magical, unique atmosphere. I have been to Belle Vue with my parents and in laws, in their 70’s, who still can’t get enough of the place! They adore the local cuisine, markets, activities and are totally at home within the house, be it during a hot summer or a chilly September visit. Belle Vue’s air conditioning is as efficient as its heating! Both excellent and ensure you are able to relax. Last October half term I returned there with my two boys aged 4 and 7. They had never experienced anything as awesome as the local medieval castles, all of which are extremely educational, exciting and both adult and child friendly. We enjoyed a jam packed week with at least two excursions a day from castle tours to canoeing. We were all extremely grateful to arrive back to beautiful property each afternoon for a dip in the fantastic pool whilst we got our BBQ underway on the gargantuan terrace suspended above the valley and sometimes above the magical mist. The local shops (5 minutes drive) allowed us gastronomic breakfast pastry feasts from the boulangerie and the butcher bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. Essentially for us, Belle Vue is private, not overlooked and it is fully equipped with everything we needed, and more! We all particularly enjoyed the fantastic sound system when watching movies on the big screen in the living area and the bedroom window shutters that keep the rooms dark enough to induce the deepest sleep I have ever experienced. Heavenly!
A picture perfect house full of charm. We have so enjoyed our stay at Cottage du Jardin -. Thonac is well placed for visiting this part of Dordogne and the restaurants and shop within easy walking distance are a huge bonus. Many thanks Caterina and Steve for your kind hospitality.

Very quiet with swimming pool in the heart of a pretty little village - Very well maintained and flowering garden with superb views of the Dordogne - Interior decoration - Friendly welcome - Geographic location (30mn from Sarlat-la-Canéda or Domme) - The region is superb and the activities are numerous: visits to castles or towns, bike rides or canoe trips ... In short, to recommend!
We had a very good week at Le Manoir de la Compagnie. The property is very quiet, in a beautiful site (large garden, beautiful trees...). It is very well equipped: top bedding, sheets/towels/tea towels provided as well as shower gel and shampoo, large and well equipped kitchen, everything is well calibrated for a group of 12 adults. The rooms are large and well decorated. The owners are charming, available without being intrusive and have a family history that is interesting to discover. In short, I completely recommend this rental

A fabulous 2 week holiday for the whole family, ages from 11 weeks to 70 years!! A superb house + grounds and a very special thanks to Lynda for her generosity + helping us on our last weekend.
Fabulous house accommodating everyone in comfort, superb location and fantastic views. The family particularly enjoyed the warm pool and al fresco dining. Lorraine who greeted us was super friendly and helpful, responding quickly when we had questions. Highly recommend this property
Thank you for an amazing stay in this wonderful house, the view, kitchen facilities and the entertainment available were all perfect. We enjoyed the bbq every night in the garden and early morning swims. The house was equipped with everything we needed we cooked with herbs from the garden and improved our pool playing. The wine tasting next door was very special, we liked the decor in every room and would recommend this house to stay in, its a lovely place. We had an incredible holiday.

We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place for us to spend a week. Villa Kali is very comfortable and well equipped.
Enjoyed a very relaxing family(plus dog) holiday at the villa. Philippe is a fabulous host, nothing is too much trouble. The additional touches such as the breakfast deliveries were wonderful. The weather didn't disappoint. (38°C), so the pool was much needed. Béziers and Sète are well worth a visit for the views and the food. All in all, just what we needed.

We have just returned from a wonderful break at 'Maison Lemance'. We were a multi generational group of 8 and the house worked perfectly for us with various inside and outside places to sit. It's a beautifully well-cared for house in a tranquil location and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was sparkling clean and had plenty of loungers for relaxation time. The owner Sam was extremely welcoming and available for any queries. Our only regret was to not have the chance to try one of her yoga classes.
