Just wanted to say how much we loved staying at your amazing house. Not only was it kitted out with everything we needed it was utterly beautiful, in the most amazing spot and with just about the perfect stay for our family. You clearly spent a lot of time and effort making it just right, and you're also given us a few ideas as we are about to embark on our back garden's overhaul... Thanks again.
What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
As you know we have stayed in your house twice. It really is an exceptional property and in terms of facilities, location and aesthetic qualities we could not fault it. The views are fantastic, the pool is perfect and the house itself brimming with character – not to mention that every lamp works, as do the showers and all utensils.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and attentiveness during our week with you. Your property really is the most wonderful place - both to stay and to explore this part of France. The gardens provide both a sense of space and tranquility - the pool and its surrounding terrace is a real sun trap and as the days turn to evening the raised terrace at the front of the property is just ideal for those pre-dinner drinks, enjoying the conversation while soaking up the amazing view across the rolling countryside as the sun goes down - perfect. We particularly loved the atmosphere and seclusion of the rear courtyard and the outdoor kitchen and lounge area was a delight for our al fresco dining! The other beauty of the property is its great location which provides a base for touring around the region - fantastic. We are both looking forward to coming out again ! Thanks again.

Fantastic villa in very good condition! Very helpful and responsive on a few questions we had. The pool is incredible, nice and deep for kids practicing their jumps!

Great stay in Margon, Helen is very responsive and available. We had 2 babies and the equipment (high chairs and cots) was available. I would definitely recommend this place to relax and visit the area. Thanks again to Helen for her trust.
What a gorgeous holiday! The house was perfect for the nine of us, the view is stunning and the pool was fabulous. We were charmed by Najac - the night market and canoeing were a highlight. We would thouroughly recommend the take-away food from the hotel in Najac. Cordes-sur-Ciel and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val worth a visit. Thank you for looking after us so well, Henrietta! We hope to come back one day.

Charming house in the most picturesque hill top village that has been lovingly restored with air con and a pool to help you cool off in the heat. The surrounding area has lots to offer and you can find great food either in the village or in Uzes not too far away.

You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We had a really fabulous time at Cottage du Jardin. The cottage suited us very well. It had everything we needed. Beautifully styled, appointed and decorated. And the pool was to die for (I was hardly out of it) thank you Stephen for looking after it and the garden so meticulously. The cottage is perfectly situated being off the beaten track and so very peaceful but yet near enough to Thonac to walk down to the village for a drink or a meal. Montignac is only ten minutes drive away - a lively town full of cafés bars and shops. Lovely trips out to visit neighbouring villages all of which claim to be one of most beautiful villages in France. And they all are! Added bonus was being in Thonac for the final of the World Cup. Rob went down to the village and joined the locals watching on the big screen.
Dear Ian and Hugh, thank you allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We had a wonderful week. Thank you for being so accommodating and helpful. The house and the grounds are stunning. We hope to return soon and see the next developments
We have travelled all our lives and recently decided to change our style. Instead of hiking or always-on-the-move vacations, we thought we would try renting a home to use a base. We couldn't be happier with our decision, but much of the credit belongs to this wonderful villa and Philippe, truly a host extraordinaire. Our only fear is that the bar has been set so high now that future rentals will suffer in comparison. Maureilhan, although not much in itself, is perfectly located for trips in the area, whether to Sète, Béziers, Roquebrun, Sérignan or Montpellier. One final note: although we rented the villa for ourselves, we had three sets of friends drop by for a few days each. With its separate quarters, the villa is perfect for two or three couples. The dinners provided by Philippe at Pour Pas were highlights. So thank you, Philippe. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more.
Des vacances attendues... pour ce coin secret... Un séjour très reposant. Une superbe région. Des visites à nous couper le souffle. Le gouffre de Padirac excellent... Grotte de Lascaux, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Le Rocher des Aigles. Le Labyrinthe du Bugue. Tout était parfait. Une maison pleine de charme qui nous a inspiré pour notre futur bien immobilier. Frédéric et Marilou sont des hôtes formidables toujours de bon conseil du coup nous reviendrons l'année prochaine. Un grand merci.
