We had a pleasant stay with friends in the charming area of Stanislas. We were 12 adults with children and the two houses allowed us to each have our own private space, it was nice. Special mention for the outside which offers an unobstructed view, with lots of vegetation. I recommend this accommodation :)
Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We have had a fabulous time in the pool, playing pool and losing at table football. We would like to recommend going to Monflanquin for the medieval festival on the 16th August.
A beautiful home in a beautiful village, so much hospitality and the house had everything we needed. We did not want to leave! :) La Table de Jean is a much recommended restaurant, fantastic food and people. Lovely stay.
Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.
Stunning retreat Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our time in your gorgeous home. We all spent hours in the pool and visited the neighbouring vineyard for some delicious rose, Corinne's daughter Chloe served up some fantastic food and Isabelle looked after the kids while we escaped two nights. It really is a stunning retreat.

As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.
We had the most wonderful time at Maison de Saint-Jean. The house was lovely it had everything we needed and Rosetta (Housekeeper) was very helpful and welcoming. You are so lucky to have her!
A marvellous, fantastic, wonderful extended family holiday! Everything you could want and more - the house, the pool, the grounds, the "olympics" barn! Great area and great advice from the hosts! Can't wait to return.
We had had this property booked since 2020 to celebrate my 70th birthday together with my son and his family. This was part of a four week French vacation. The property was just as we had hoped. A typical French Château, very roomy filled with antiques. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our every need. It was well equipped and the grounds were delightful. The pool was very much appreciated as the weather was unseasonably hot. We all enjoyed our holiday and would love to return again. Thank you.

Just returned from an outstanding holiday at the Orchard Farmhouse! The pool and grounds were just fantastic - it did help with three days at 30+ degrees! We've had a wonderful week here in such an amazing, spacious house. We have enjoyed being near to Najac and being able to walk there for lunch and exploring, especially the castle. The views at breakfast with the clouds are quite spectacular. Today we visited the alpaca farm and really enjoyed our tour round the various fields of alpacas. The children particularly enjoyed feeding them. The swimming pool has been a real highlight and wonderful weather an added bonus. Many thanks to Henrietta for her welcome and amazing suggestions and all the help.
Gordon family and Mullaly family Thank you for letting us stay in this lovely farmhouse. The best days of the holiday were spent here in the farmhouse by the pool. The teens loved the gym and the tennis court. Such a lovely location. Much local excitement when the Tour de France (femmes) passed the driveway. What a fabulous day! Enjoyed the wine tour and our 2 meals out in Richelieu. The view from the terrace is exceptional and such a good place to drink coffee and welcome the morning or indeed the evening. Great family team here to spend much for a great visit.
Wonderful time with the big family. The beautiful Château Velouse offers plenty of space for a large family or friends, with a great kitchen, a large dining room and a cozy living room. Almost each of the eight traditionally decorated bedrooms are having their own modern bathroom. The huge park is great for own dogs, which you can easy bring with you.

A truly wonderful family week in the sun! La Cigaliere met all of our needs and expectations. The layout and facilities allowed both togetherness and the odd moment of seclusion. As we have only scratched the surface of the region, I am sure we will be back. La Panouille (local pizzeria) was a great hit. Twice! Thank you and with our best wishes.
Thank you for an amazing stay in this wonderful house, the view, kitchen facilities and the entertainment available were all perfect. We enjoyed the bbq every night in the garden and early morning swims. The house was equipped with everything we needed we cooked with herbs from the garden and improved our pool playing. The wine tasting next door was very special, we liked the decor in every room and would recommend this house to stay in, its a lovely place. We had an incredible holiday.
Mia, 7 years old We have had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house. I loved playing in the swimming pool with my nanny, grandad, sister and my 2 cousins. The market in Duras is definitely worth a visit with lots of lovely things to see and buy. I hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we have.

Wonderful location and property! It was a beautiful villa, lovely bedrooms and such stunning views. The village was beautiful and such an amazing place to be able to visit Carcassonne and Mirepoix and the beauty of the place just took our breath away. The secret garden and pool was just amazing and sitting watching the sunset from the balcony was beautiful.
We had a great time. The villa was fantastic and just as described. The concierge Sarah was tremendous and did so much to make our stay enjoyable answering all our questions and arranging a caterer one night. The whole experience was really excellent and we would happily use Oliver's Travels and this villa again.

We can't get over how well set up it is. And we are having so much fun in the pool. This is the perfect place for us! We have used Pure France and other similar companies over many years, but I do not believe I have heard how highly rated they thought this particular property was - ever! As a result of the standard of accommodation, gardens and the local surrounding area, we are already trying to see if there is anything which can beat it for next year, especially for standards of finish and value for money (if you can recommend anything similar, please let us know)? I work in the construction industry as a design manager and can see someone has spent a lot of time and effort in getting the best out of this large old building, bringing it up to a high standard with well considered interior design - obviously the owner has considered in a lot of detail. Please pass on our thanks for being able to use the property.
A very pleasant stay in a dream house. Quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The hosts are friendly and very welcoming. I highly recommend renting.
