We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. I hope we can return for another holiday soon! Thank you from us all. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It really was perfect.

Perfectly maintained We, our children and grandchild had a really great time at Villa Saumane . The house and the property with the large pool are perfectly maintained . The bedding is good quality and the kitchen facilities are perfect, too. The caretaker is fantastic. The Villa is situated in a quiet area near the river Sorgue so we had a lot of opportunities for nice walks with our dog . By car you are very close to the beautiful villages around . So we fell in love with the Luberon and we will certainly come back again .
Wonderful time with the big family. The beautiful Château Velouse offers plenty of space for a large family or friends, with a great kitchen, a large dining room and a cozy living room. Almost each of the eight traditionally decorated bedrooms are having their own modern bathroom. The huge park is great for own dogs, which you can easy bring with you.
It has been 6 years of trying to get to stay here but eventually we did it and it was worth the wait. The owners were so kind and helpful. Providing super cheeses, wine, early morning deliveries. And all of that before even mentioning the beautiful house :) Everything was amazing except for the canicule, 42°C (phew!) but the pool saved us, it was amazing also. Many thanks for a load of super memories.
Superb property with all the comforts. We spent a week in July 2023 with family and loved the beauty of this area. The infinity pool, the jacuzzi and the ping-pong table delighted the children. The wooded park offers a beautiful space for relaxation and walking. Thank you again for Francesca’s welcome and services!
What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
All of us have had a lovely holiday - so relaxing! Much reading, drinking wine, lying in the sun and swimming. Absolutely perfect! We went to Carcasonne which is stunning, but it was unbelievably hot! (and the whining children not the easiest!) Thank you - It's a great house. And we echo all the above sentiments. It has been perfect week of pure relaxation - the owner is absolutely right when he says that there is no very good reason to leave the house - we managed an afternoon in the Montagne Noir - stunning views especially from Saissac. The house is perfect for all of us. A huge thank you to the owners for making it so good.
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.
Wonderfully renovated French cottage in a slumbering small village. Beautiful green area. I loved the care that went into the house. Lovely spacious bedrooms, felt like a high end hotel stay. Highly recommended.
Well wow! what a beautiful place. We’ve had a fantastic family week celebrating our daughter’s 40th with children and grandchildren. Heaven!
A real oasis in lively Sarlat. So well located. Walk everywhere. Farmer’s market. Restaurant. Gorgeous, bustling village. Great pool. Great garden. Comfortable. Jackie is very helpful and caring.
On a family weekend, everyone was charmed and delighted by Sue's house. Very large, comfortable and nicely decorated house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool, ideally located on the banks of the Canal du Midi. Sue is very friendly and welcoming. We recommend and will return for a relaxing weekend.
We did have a really, really lovely time in France and we'll no doubt be seriously considering using Pure France again on a future occasion.

Peaceful village and amazing views. Having taken a holiday on the Canal du midi in 2015 my wife and I wanted a base to further explore this beautiful region. I looked for somewhere close to Castelnaudary but with a rural aspect. Boy did we luck out in finding Les Collines. The property has been renovated to a very high standard and the views from the roof terrace are amazing. We could not believe how peaceful the village was and to sit on the terrace watching the sun go down with a glass of wine is bliss itself. We also took full advantage of the private swimming pool which is surrounded by aromatic lavender and rosemary and fresh figs hanging from the fig tree. The surrounding countryside invites you to explore and this can be done on foot, bicycle or simply by car. You are only less than ten minutes into the nearest large town namely Castelnaudary where you can stock up on supplies, visit bars and restaurants as well as links to Toulouse and the Canal du midi. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation in amazing surroundings with superb weather then look no further. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.
Steven and Bruce have a fantastic place and they really went the extra mile to make our stay totally enjoyable. We've been staying at places in France for 20 or so years and we always come back fairly pleased, but perhaps with one or two thoughts about how something or other could have been better, but I think this is the first time we've come back and been unable to think of anything that was less than perfect.
Great vacation spent in Le Mas de Combet! Quiet house in the countryside with a superb pool. We were able to enjoy all the amenities on site. Thank you to our host for their excellent welcome and availability throughout the stay. We really recommend this property for a week with friends.
Stunning property overlooking lake. Property is in great location but not isolated, walking distance to bar, restaurant, Boulangerie and takeaway pizza shop (or 2 minutes in car). Property is in excellent condition and is very clean and well looked after, the pool is great for a cooling dip, the area around the pool is also modern and clean with nice furniture too. Comfortable beds with crisp bedding, everything has been thought of with a lovely modern kitchen, unique dining table, comfortable clean sofa. Great views overlooking the lake but still very private. The house also stays quite cool as it's shaded by the trees which was great in the heatwave. The owners are really helpful and take pride in their special property. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay again when visiting this beautiful area of France *****
Wow, what a stunning house – so, so loved being here and just wished the days had stretched a little longer to have seen more of this beautiful part of the Dordogne. Massive thanks to Jayne and Ian for looking after us so well! Thank you from the Blackett-Shield Family.
Le Petit Palais is a beautiful place to stay, in a very peaceful area. It had everything we needed and was perfect for a relaxing family holiday.
Our second stay here in the Cottage and it does not disappoint. The pool is just bliss. It has been very hot. We kept the shutters closed to keep the house cold. It worked. We noticed a distinct absence of mosquitoes this year too. This area has so much to offer we filled two weeks with amazing adventures. Thanks to previous guests, we found Fanlac, a truly beautiful village not far from here. Plazac too with its medicinal garden. On our final day we discovered Coly-St-Amand, an incredible little village with the most amazing fortified church. In this village, there is a lovely vegetarian café. The food is delicious and homemade: "Café Rapiette". As fo the bigger days out we once again were won over by the beautiful Jardins of Eyrignac. If you love gardens, this is one of the best in the world. the same can be said for jardins de Marqueyssac, which are well worth visiting. This time around, we visited Beynac. The château is our favourite. The views are quite incredible and you can see Richard The Lionheart's bedroom. Oh, quite a thing. In the village, is a superb restaurant, "La Petite Tonnelle". again, a superb vegetarian menu alongside the usual dishes, duck and foie gras. Nothing, on the château front can match Château de Losse in the village, it is absolutely breathtaking. Our second visit was just as amazing as our first. What a position it occupies. On this trip we also visited La-Roque-Saint-Christophe and Château de Hautefort, well worth returning to both as they are fascinating and there is always something new to learn. Our most interesting an remarkable find was "Cabanes du Breuil" don't miss it! This will leave you amazed! As for eating, we had superb food virtually everywhere. With no hesitation the very best place to eat is the Relais de Montignac in the forum. The presentation of the food is Masterchef level, but the price for three courses is less than a main course in the UK. It is excellent. As for markets, Montignac on a Wednesday is fun. Terrasson is also good, definitely bigger but after it you can go up to the Jardins de l'Imagination and they are fabulous. the Town is lovely. Make sure you walk along the older parts. Enjoy the cottage, enjoy the love, enjoy the town, enjoy the region. It's all amazing.

The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family.There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. Had a great fortnight in Les Sphynx de Pézenas. Everything you want really. Recommend Chez Paul, Les Entre Pots and Ou es tu Ginger (veggie food) in the local area to eat. Marina Bay at Marseillan Plage - great food and lovely views. All in all a great location and house.

Your attention to detail from the information provided before our stay to the provisions you provided in the Loft to your availability during our stay have been second to none. Also, the thoughtful and pragmatic precautions you have taken in light of Covid-19 served to put our minds at ease and helped us to thoroughly enjoy our time in this wonderful part of France. Spacious and very pleasant house, in a quiet area, close to shops and restaurants . Welcoming and responsive host. Pool clean and so refreshing in hot weather. The village is very pretty and lively in the summer. We'll be back.
