This villa is beautiful. We had an exceptional week. Very modern hyper equipped with a very tasteful, high-end decoration. We were charmed by the villa. The owners are very nice. Very well located 15 minutes walk from the most beautiful village in France. We are used to renting prestigious villas. This one is undoubtedly in its place on the podium. I would even say on the highest step taking into account the kindness of Karine and Éric, the owners. We highly recommend!
We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Chanlie; the house is set in wonderful, quiet surroundings and is beautifully furnished. Everything was in place to make us feel very welcome on our arrival. We had a couple of questions following arrival and the owner was really prompt in providing helpful guidance and again welcoming us to the property. The information pack provided at the property was very detailed and was invaluable in terms of guidance on local amenities and made great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our young daughter was well catered for with plenty of toys and books to keep her amused when the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside spaces. Similarly the house has a large collection of games and DVDs for adults too! Overall a really enjoyable week and we would jump at the chance to return!
We had a lovely week at Mas de Rivailles and would absolutely consider returning. The photos do not do the house and grounds justice. The property is beautifully presented and is very well-equipped. We enjoyed the morning walk to the local boulangerie over the fields. The pool was lovely and our older teenage daughters enjoyed the games room. We're reluctantly offering a review as we don't want the property to be fully booked for next summer... Frederic the property manager was very attentive but not intrusive with high quality prompt communication. We would rate Mas de Rivailles 5 stars.

Fresh pastries in the morning, you have gone above and beyond - and that, combined with the comforts and surroundings of the villa, is what has made this holiday so special. We all loved the comfort of the beds and quality of the linen, the faultless hot water supply and how clean the pool was. This villa really works, allowing us to have a stress-free holiday! Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!
We have returned! Even more enjoyable this year, weather and pool fantastic. The villa is close to perfect.
On our bucket list we wrote a holiday with the whole family consisting of 13 people. We chose to stay at the Bastide which appeared a perfect choice. We had the space we needed, plenty of rooms, bathrooms and toilets. Equipment of the villa was complete. We had a few issues but Thomas, our host solved everything asap. As kids, teenagers and adults we all enjoyed the stay as we had plenty of possibilities next to the outstanding pool of the house. Hiking in the environment, fishing in the lake nearby, pool table, soccer table, table tennis. And of course we used the BBQs a lot while enjoying the wonderful wines of the domaine. Thank you Thomas for your effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended as a valuable investment in an unforgettable holiday.
Like the previous years, the two weeks at the villa have been wonderful! The house is wonderful, the pool and the closeness to the sea are great. We will certainly be back again.
We had an excellent stay in this historic residence, the former orangery of the castle built on the 14th century ramparts. In addition to the charm of the house, it is very well organized around different spaces which increase the diversity of experiences. Whether with family or friends, everyone has their own space while offering lots of conviviality. The house is very well equipped, from ping pong to raclette, including a kitchen with lots of appliances. The bedding is comfortable.. Finally, the place is both a haven of peace and its direct proximity to the village and its many summer activities make it a unique place.
We have really enjoyed our stay at Le Manoir des Sines. It really is a stunning property.
This house is even better than we remembered it - we feel so relaxed and at home here.
Wonderful pool and garden and of course lovely interior of the rooms. Our kids enjoyed playing in the pool area and really loved the tree house!

A stunning villa perfectly set up and loved by our children. The extra touches like coffee machine, Lego for the boys to play with, a bottle of champagne to welcome us on arrival were excellent. The boys loved the heated pool, walking into town for bread / croissants in the morning and lunch on the terrace. Some excellent restaurants in town including Chez Paul, Maison Conti, La Ripaille, Les Palmiers and La Pomme d'Amour. The Pedahorail is not for the faint hearted. Had a lovely holiday. Thank you!

We loved every minute with the children spending their time in the pool, playing table tennis and with all the other games (chess, dominoes…) You kindly supplied we couldn’t have asked for more and very much appreciated our welcome pack. My recent stay at this charming villa in Duras this summer, was nothing short of exceptional. Accommodation: This lovely and very comfortable villa has a rustic charm and a very tasteful decor. Our rooms were cozy and spacious, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Whether we were lounging along the swimming pool, in the beautifully landscaped garden, or sipping Rosé on the terrace as the sun set over the vineyards, or cooking in a very pleasant and well equipped kitchen, every moment felt like a blissful escape. The attention to detail in every aspect of the villa created an ambiance of warmth and relaxation that was truly unparalleled. Location: The village and the castle of Duras are simply enchanting. Everything is at a waking distance and Duras offers a lot of fun activities : visit of the castle, genuinely impressive medieval jousts., light and sounds spectacles explaining the long and fascinating history of the region projected on the walls of the castle, group hikes in nature, tastings of local (and delicious) food. At night, the village organizes concerts where dancing is more than encouraged! And the traditional open air market is a wonderful experience. There was always something new and fun to discover. I cannot recommend this beautiful gem highly enough and look forward to returning again this summer!

And so ends another fabulous two weeks at the Loft du Vigneron. Everything we said in September 2017 remains absolutely appropriate. Karen and Russell, you do such a magnificent job in presenting The Loft - you really are in a league of your own. Please know how much everything you do is so appreciated - it all makes to provide such a fantastic holiday base. How we would love to stay on for another two weeks now - but this will have to wait until next year! We've loved spending time with you again - the boules tournament is firmly in the memory bank! Really sorry about the tea, Russell! Case for the defence: salt does look like sugar when you've had a drink or two! Good luck with the Chambres d'Hotes - it's looking fabulous.
Over the years we have stayed in around twenty different houses all over France - most were good, one or two were very good. But then there is the special one - this year. This house didn't feel like a house; it felt like home from the moment we walked through the door, after a long and tiring drive (and, bless you, there was bottle of ready chilled local wine ready and waiting for us). 'Welcome to your home' it said. The layout, décor and furnishings are delightful; and the luxury of each bedroom having its own bathroom topped it off. We had friends who came to stay for a while and they shared our thoughts. One couple even came back for a second visit on their way home. And then there is the garden – warm, private, shaded when you want it and serene. And yes, the pool is fabulous – it's a proper size. But wait until you see the garden at night, when you have your barbecue and the garden and pool lights come into play... makes the local rose taste even more morish. And then there is Pézenas - ten minutes walk away through a vineyard. And you won't go hungry there. Wonderful town. Only one regret – we couldn't parcel it up and take it home. It is, truly, an oasis.
An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the nearby markets and small community which surrounds the château. Thank you Phil and Claire. Spacious rooms, historic building and thoughtful amenities.
Frans and Kate - what a pleasure to meet you both. As we have reached the end of our holiday here, we are reflecting on the excellent time we have had. Coming from the other side of the world, and taking a chance on brief information and pictures provided on a website, and some positive reviews, we booked for four weeks with both anticipation and trepidation. But from the moment our booking was completed, our experiences have been all extremely positive. We have used the information you provided us, ahead of our travel to France, about places to visit or experience, on an almost daily basis. We appreciated your warm greeting on our arrival. The name Les Chambeaux truly reflects the natural surroundings and the accommodation has been spot on. Being keen cooks, the kitchen has been exceptional. We’ve explored many of the sights you suggested and revelled in the surrounding local village markets and beyond. As hosts, you have shown the perfect combination of support and generosity. We find it hard to realise that our time seems to have come to an end so quickly but our memories will be long lasting. If you dare to catch the big bird to Melbourne, we would love to see you. Or perhaps we will return! Merci beaucoup and à bientôt.
This is our third visit to Villa Kali and we enjoyed it very much as before. We managed to visit L'Hacienda near Bessan and had a most enjoyable evening. Diane is very helpful with any specific dietary requests and it was a bonus that she spoke English. Very happy to say its a 5 from us again. Many thanks.
