Thank you for a fabulous holiday! You have a beautiful, well-appointed villa with all mod cons and loads of fun distractions to occupy the younger members of the family - pétanque, pool, table tennis, croquet, swimming and baby foot. The weather was unremittingly hot but your beautifully air-conditioned house provided welcome respite. We would strongly recommend this to our friends.
Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was absolutely wonderful! The property is beautiful, the location is stunning, the hosts were fantastic - so helpful and friendly, made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable Dordogne getaway.
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!
We had a lovely two weeks in this beautiful old French farmhouse with its heavenly views and surrounded in wonderful countryside. We have spent most of our time in the garden, playing bolles, swimming, water ball, table tennis and using the pool table, enjoying leisurely meals on the terrace with great views. Trips out to Vaison la Romain, daily trips to the boulangie, wonderful walks, some brilliant bike rides for children and adults alike. We have seen some wonderful wildlife around the area, geckos, cicadas etc. We are sad to leave but hope to return one day.
The villa is a very comfortable, spacious house. Furniture and fitments are of an excellent standard. Each bedroom has its own shower / bathroom and toilet plus its own sitting space / retreat. A great advantage for a large family, group of friends, two families sharing the accommodation. The outside area is very pleasant and private. Plenty of space for sitting out and relaxing. The location of the villa is ideal for visiting places along the Côte d'Azur. Public transport is within walking distance of the villa, as are shops for one's daily needs. The owners are friendly and helpful.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. We have so enjoyed our week here in our very own secret garden. Who would imagine there would be such a magical place waiting for us, just a second from the road? After many moments of uncertainty, it has been a huge tonic to relax in the sunshine in this beautiful garden and enjoy relaxing with our daughters. We haven’t explored very much beyond the Loft, but the countryside is beautiful, the wine and food delicious and the canoeing trip exhilarating and at times a little scary! Karen and Russell are the perfect hosts - always present but never in your space. They have created a perfect holiday home - immaculate and brilliantly equipped, and the fridge and cupboards generously filled to enhance your welcome and stay. We have enjoyed hours by the perfect pool and will fondly remember our 2021 say here. Hopefully we will be back! Thank you, Karen and Russell for everything.
The villa is located on the edge of Le Somail, a very, very quiet place just 3 minutes from the Canal du Midi. The villa is extraordinary! It even seemed smaller in the photos, but it’s actually very spacious. Well laid out, with separation between the sleeping area of the 4 bedrooms (each with its own bathroom/WC) and the living room. All rooms are air-conditioned. The outdoor area with the pool is excellent. No overlooking neighbors, and the pool gets sun almost all day! (It is cleaned twice a week). Lily and her mother, who welcomed us, were pleasant, helpful, and very responsive.
Great feeling of space with plenty of room for children to play. Pool was superb and much used. The childrens swimming skills improved immensely. Thank you Takayla for lovely food and for accommodating late arrival and intolerances. Nick and Takayla were available and friendly without being intrusive. A fantastic time was had by all the family. Many thanks and looking forward to next year already.
We adore this house - it is our third visit this year! The atmosphere here is so conducive to being happy and relaxed. And now to expose the biggest secret of the year - Christmas at Orchard Farmhouse has been a magical experience. The Baquiés are the most agreeable hosts in the world.
La Charmante Distillerie is a wonderful holiday venue. Situated in the heart of the French countryside, but 10 minutes away from a busy and enchanting town. Mark and Gary are perfect hosts, completely non intrusive but immediately available to offer the best advice on local places of interest, restaurants and generally help. The interior is stylish, the artwork beautiful, the furniture very comfortable and the bedrooms perfect. Six adults and three children occupied the property for a week. The hosts catered for our every need, even buying new toys for our 9 month old grandson. At no stage did La Distillerie feel crowded. The swimming pool was heated and my three grandchildren were continuously swimming and playing in the dedicated play area. Me and my family can absolutely recommend La Charmante Distillerie.
Thanks to everyone there for your help. We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was everything you said it would be. Thanks also for your reassurance during covid. We were so pleased we went.

We have been using Pure France regularly for many years and we have always stayed in fabulous Villas in great locations. However, we feel that Maison des Communes has just raised the bar for us in terms of the quality of the Villa with its many separate buildings and exotic furnishings. The pool was great and perfectly aligned to catch the Languedoc, Occitanie sunshine all day. And the welcome from the Owners really made us feel welcome and valued as a Customer. They even helped us carry our luggage in from the car! We were so impressed that less then 24 hours after arrival we have already booked for the next year. We cannot wait to return. 5 / 5

I have stayed here with friends on several occasions and the tranquility and serenity is something to treasure. Maison Bourriette and gardens are furnished to the highest standard with a special courtyard enclosed in the original barn walls. The pool and surroundings cater for the most ardent sunbather or swimmer. The welcome you receive is personal and nothing is too much trouble, thus ensuring your best possible stay. From the house you are near to many interesting attractions dotted around the rolling countryside but if you don't want to leave the sanctuary of the house, then there are numerous delightful walks on the doorstep taking you through woods to small settlements or even into Montaigu for quality food and drink. I cannot wait to go back again!
What can I say except that it was perfect in every way! Every year we organize a long family weekend and this is, by far, the one that wins all the votes!

We have been staying here with our grown up children who have not been to this area before, and have loved the house and the area. The weather has been so hot! So we really appreciated the wonderful pool. A great kitchen which we have used extensively and adore having every meal outside. Thank you for your help and your lovely house.

Great place to stay and perfect for the three families we had on our trip. The children loved the pool and boules court and the adults loved sitting on the patio with a glass of rosé watching the sun set. Look forward to coming back.

This is a lovely villa. Probably one of the best appointed in which we have ever stayed. The pool and outdoor areas are just delightful. Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter enjoyed picking up wonderful plums and playing with the games and toys in the little library. Adults enjoyed the beautiful view end is sunsets. How peaceful our surroundings where especially when we are used to the traffic noise of city! Special thanks to Frederick who helped us where we had a little medical emergency.
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. Thank you so much.
Stunning renovation, not a person or light in front of us, fresh linen, ample space to relax and a place where we all could unwind with the family, we will be back again. 100%.
