What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful gardens and a lovely pool area. We had a lovely time at the Médiéval festival in Monflanquin (very special!) Gary and his team were fantastic. Would definitely come back!
It is our third visit and it's always a great pleasure to come back. We enjoyed the pool more than ever! Beautiful house, nice weather, perfect holiday. Thank you, we will come back once more.
We had a lovely few days at Maison Menetou last August. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing break. The owners were amazing hosts and very welcoming. The gîte was spacious, had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The outside space and pool area was fantastic, a perfect spot to relax in the sunshine! While we were there we visited ZooParc de Beauval which was a brilliant day out and only a short drive away. Overall a great stay, we would definitely recommend.
Château Périgord is fabulous. We have all enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it to others. We would certainly consider a return trip. We thank you again.
The villa proved to be the perfect home for the week, as it ticked so many boxes:- A friendly villa owner who spoke good English, a ten minute stroll to the beach and restaurants, five minute walk to Cros de Cagnes station where you can take the local train to Cannes in 24 minutes and Nice in 15 minutes - so no need to have the hassle of car hire, a well stocked supermarket a 10 minute walk away, within walking distance of the free bus up to the beautiful hilltop village of Haut de Cagnes. A clean, well furnished villa, with every room having individual controls for the air conditioning settings... lovely when you come in from a hot day out! Ice on tap from the huge fridge and a swimming pool at just the right temperature - day and night.
Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.
We have had a great holiday here. The house is lovely and we enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved playing in that pool overlooking the beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back. Many thanks.
We have had a great stay in this beautiful house in the most beautiful area. We've swam, played ping pong and cards against Humanity! We've all been up the fortress Tower and kayaked down the rapids! Thank you all, Henrietta, Magali and Elodie, for the most fantastic stay - such lovely warm welcome from you all.
The house is stunning and the pictures on line do not do it justice, we will be sorry to leave at the end of our stay.

We have had a wonderful relaxing week at Le Malardier. The house is stunning and photographs do not do it justice. We loved watching the sun rise, taking in the view with our morning coffee. The pool and pool house have been enjoyed by all. Leisurely lunches in the outdoor dining area and a game of boules in the evening. Many thanks to Richard and Gay who have been so helpful and superb hosts.

Wonderful family holiday We had a wonderful week staying at Manoir de Saux, spent mostly by or in the beautiful pool or on the tennis court! Occasionally we would tear ourselves away from this idyll to wander through pretty fortified towns, to have a delicious local lunch and to taste wine. We all particularly liked Cahors. The house itself was very comfortable, had everything we needed and the kids couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended!
We had a beautiful fou-poster suite with claw footed bath in this attractive country château. We enjoyed a lazy week in glorious sunshine in August dipping in and out of the outdoor heated swimming pool. The château has extensive grounds in which to walk off dinner and is surrounded by peaceful countryside. Bourges was a great place to visit, both cathedral, palace and gardens were a must-see. We were with a large party of friends who took it in turns to cook and we ate outside on the terrace watching the sun go down.
Our stay at Maison Pouchet was just wonderful: a beautiful place! We had a great time.
We had a lovely lazy two weeks by the pool! With the hot weather the air conditioning was very welcoming at night time. We have used Pure France several times over the last 6 years and this villa has definitely been the best equipped and most accurately described. 5 / 5

Pure France clients - We have had an amazing two weeks here in this lovely home. We have enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved kayaking and using a pedalo on the River Lot. We have made really good use of the pool and the secret garden. Thank you so much Alan and Madeline for all your kindness and consideration - and especially taking us on that lovely walk. A really special holiday - thank you!
You really feel like you're in a family home, which is what this house should be in my opinion. The children were very happy to discover a trunk full of toys and cuddly toys, disguises to pretend they were in the Middle Ages, tons of board games, books for young and old and DVDs. The house is made very pleasant by its layout which means that there can be many people while still preserving their privacy. Finally, we enjoyed the breathtaking view every evening of the valley and in the morning waking up to the castle after going to get our croissants on foot. I also recommend the Monday morning market and the many attractions in the evening.
The owners are fantastic hosts! Always available and attentive. The house is just like the photos and ideal for a family retreat. We spent an unforgettable week there and experienced moments forever engraved in our memories.
Truly the most magical and enchanting holiday home we’ve ever stayed in. The views are heavenly and the design and architectural features of the house are so wonderful and unique it’s like being in an Aladdin’s Cave. The house is so open, full of light and air and so many charming seating areas inside and out leaves you feeling positively joyous. Thank You!
The house was very comfortable and the facilities were great it made a good centre for touring the area so we would be happy to recommend the house to anyone else.
Seven days of swimming, rounders, running, races, hide and seek and much more have delivered a break to remember, especially for the kids! And that, of course, makes a holiday for the adults. P.S. We saw a deer!
What a beautiful, well appointed home in a wonderful location. Despite the odd bit of rain we and our guests enjoyed our two week stay immensely. Thank you to the owners who were perfect hosts – helpful, friendly and on hand when needed, without encroaching an inch on our privacy. We could not have asked for more, either of you or of Domaine de Nérige. You have designed the perfect holiday home and we and our guests would have been happy to stay longer, much longer. What an amazing holiday! Le Pigat was beautiful and very well equipped with extra little touches. This all made our visit special. The bread delivery was an absolute delight. Many special memories made by the pool and we found the cave! Also visits to Bergerac, Périgueux, Monbazillac, Mouleydier, Issigeac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme, Château de Bridoire, Saint-Émilion and Brantôme. Not forgetting Eymet and Trémolat. All beautiful places and worth a visit. Many special restaurants too. Some rustic, some very gourmet. We will miss being here in the warmth, by the pool and in wonderful surroundings. Many thanks.
