Fabulous weekend. This place is simply wonderful! Great food, company, wine... What more could a Scottish ask for?
My family and I had a fabulous time during our week in France. It really was exactly what we were looking for and expecting.
Very good stay with Eva for a week at the end of August. The house is very nice, spacious, with all the necessary comfort (several bathrooms in particular). With the studio, we were able to spend holidays with four couples and children. The outside, with pool, barbeque and plancha is perfect for a great stay. A ping-pong table is also available. Eva is very attentive and communication was perfect during this week. She will be able to give you ideas for walks or help you if necessary. I recommend.

What a delight! The two bedroom cottage was very spacious and comfortable - actually seemed bigger than the photos depict. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and supportive and had a genuine interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, from recommendations and help with reservations at wonderful local restaurants, to suggestions for local sites to visit, to making sure we were comfortable when we experienced some inclement weather. We would love to return and highly recommend this unique property to anyone planning to spend time touring the gorgeous Dordogne area.
We stayed here with 8 friends and had a wonderful time. The villa is in a beautiful environment, with a lot of green and hills around. Communication with Sophie was perfect. The place is a bit further away so you do need a car. Would recommend to ask about chef michon. She provided 2 lovely dinners for us !
The bed gave us the best sleep ever. We just wanted to write and thank you both properly for sharing your beautiful home in Saint Paul de Vence. Our week was magical and the Pool Apartment was perfect to relax and unwind. The bed gave us the best sleep ever (we've even decided to buy one!). I fell under the spell of this beautiful, atypical residence. Its proximity to the Duras castle gives it a magical touch... There is all the necessary comfort for visitors and the bedding is quality. On one side of the residence, breathtaking view of the beautiful swimming pool and the valley and on the other side, magical view of the castle fortifications. I will not reveal any more and leave the pleasure to the next visitors of discovering the other little treasures that this house hides. The village of Duras is typical of small provincial towns with its beautiful and colorful local market. In the evenings, very good festive atmosphere.
We had a lovely stay. so tranquil, with a view of the Dordogne river. Lovely enclosed courtyard garden, ideal for al fresco dining and BBQ. We enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the birds in the trees and popping in and out of holes in the wall. Not too far from some of the hot spots such as Sarlat, Domme and La Roque-Gageac, so we could enjoy a day out but still manage to get back to the peace and quiet of Maison Bourg Calès to relax.

What a pleasure we had spending a week full of sunshine in your magnificent villa! Four adults, eight children... and everyone found what they were looking for. Beautiful house, superb garden, fantastic swimming pool!!! We made the most of it. Thank you for your kindness and your availability. You are really very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this place! We stayed with a family of 8 people and had a wonderful stay. The swimming pool is great, there is a ping pong table and a big and beautiful garden. There are a lot of different terraces to sit/hangout/have lunch and dinner. The kitchen is well equipped, there's a large stove and a BBQ for outside cooking. It's quiet and there's a lot of privacy. Sam and her husband are very friendly, communicative and helpful. We rented the electric bikes for two days and enjoyed the beautiful and rustique surroundings. There's a tennis court nearby that is very easy to arrange access to. Actually, we can't think of anything against the place, its really great!
We have had the most wonderful time in your lovely house, it feels incredibly homely and I can see why it is your pride and joy.

We have had a lovely relaxing weeknight at the castle. Wine tasting at the Chateau Grand Pierre. Night market in the village. Butchers and boulangerie I the village both excellent. Pleasant setting for pizza intent little square. House lovely. Setting on outskirts of the village was perfect for us. Thank you for sharing the home grown tomatoes from the garden.
Just to say that we have enjoyed our time here enormously. You have the most beautiful home in a wonderful location! We only left the house twice other than to shop for food. Once to go to Château Bridoire (a good recommendation thank you) and Château Montbazillac and a second time today to go to an aqua parc. Thank you very much!

Who would have guessed you could have daily swims in April? This fabulous pool really was the star. The apartment is well equipped and immaculately clean. The village is a comfortable walk away and there's an excellent ELeclerc grocery that's a short drive. (You will need a car if you intend to go anywhere once you've arrived. Get a small non-electric one.) We've already booked our next stay.
Another fantastic stay for the Hill family. Everything you could wish for and worth listening to the daily countdown from the grandchildren since we booked. Only problem is 2 weeks is not enough!
We had a fantastic time at Mas de Clouze. We walked to Beaumont, canoed at Cenac, visited Montpazier and Chateau de Biron. Lots of long lunches at the house and hours of fun in the pool. Many thanks.

We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. We look forward to each visit, availability ( this villa and ours ) depending. Thanks as ever for enabling our visit and to the dedicated team who prepare and clean in preparation. Much appreciated.
Unique in its kind: Le Mas Pouget has preserved its history (stones, layout) and offers a modern layout and an original, sophisticated decoration, while being soft and soothing... We stayed with 4 couples of friends and enjoyed each with plenty of privacy and space. The rooms are very large, bright, the bedding is of very good quality. The welcome is perfect, we were seduced by the attention of the owner (unheard of despite our numerous rental stays)! Finally, the region is magnificent and offers plenty of activities. If we had to look for a negative point?.... We didn't find it. We will come back, for sure.
We as a family enjoyed our stay in Mas des Rivailles. The house is great, lots of space in the house and even more in the great pool area with different places to sit, either in the sun or in the shade. The house was very clean and after a long drive, we were welcomed with some food and drinks for the first night.
On our bucket list we wrote a holiday with the whole family consisting of 13 people. We chose to stay at the Bastide which appeared a perfect choice. We had the space we needed, plenty of rooms, bathrooms and toilets. Equipment of the villa was complete. We had a few issues but Thomas, our host solved everything asap. As kids, teenagers and adults we all enjoyed the stay as we had plenty of possibilities next to the outstanding pool of the house. Hiking in the environment, fishing in the lake nearby, pool table, soccer table, table tennis. And of course we used the BBQs a lot while enjoying the wonderful wines of the domaine. Thank you Thomas for your effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended as a valuable investment in an unforgettable holiday.
We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in Sarlat. Sarlat and the surrounding area has so much to offer. We enjoyed the local markets, a trip to Chateau Der Milandes and of course canoeing down the Dordogne river. The location of the house is amazing, just a few minutes walk into the centre. With the first week of our stay the temperature were in the high 30s and the pool was an absolute godsend-a real highlight for us, we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the weather.. The house itself was great and met all of our needs for a two week holiday. Thank you Jackie for all your help answering all my messages. Will be back soon.
