This is an idyllic luxury dream. A tranquil abode where resistance against rest and relaxation is futile. Welcoming in 2022 with Kate, Frans, their family and friends felt like home away from home with immediate family. They have created a home where you can freely engage in the beauty of this corner of France in an easthetic space curated to the highest level. We could class them as more than 'friends' - and definitely as 'MTFS'. The only antidote to departing is to plot the return and this has already begun.
Marie-Christine's house is ideal for a family, it is decorated with great taste, modern and airy. It has all the amenities and its location is ideal (supermarket, bakeries, shopping center, city center, train station, etc.) Marie is a charming person. She gave us advice and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend his house which is completely renovated. Large house with beautiful swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen with, among other things, plancha outside, very pleasant! We also enjoyed the barbeque. All amenities are available. We were with 6 adults and 8 children, at the limit but certainly feasible. Thank you for the air conditioning in the rooms - electricity costs are always paid separately
Where do we start! Arrived at the gite and drove through the private gated entrance to see beautiful grounds and a very inviting swimming pool. Jean and Martyn were waiting to show us around and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. The gite, grounds, outdoor kitchen and pool all immaculate and made for the perfect stay. The washing machine, dishwasher and many fridges are an added bonus. The bedrooms and bathroom a good size, fab open plan kitchen, diner and living room. Lots of extras in the kitchen which is great. Lauzun is a great little village with all the amenities you need, several other pretty villages near by (Issigeac and Eymet are lovely) Large hyper/supermarkets and various shops in Bergerac, 30mins away or a decent size Intermarche 10mins away. We would highly recommend the gite and will definitely be returning. Thank you Jean and Martyn for your letting us stay in your lovely property and not forgetting the very friendly, fluffy, German Shepherd Tanner. We had the best time, enjoyed sharing our many bottles of vino and our evening with you in Eymet.
We stayed the fourth time here in Saint-Amand de Coly. We had a beautiful sunny week and a great stay in Maison Amand. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Thank you very much! We will come back and stay longer.
Just a quick note to thank you for organising our week’s holiday at Domaine de Brugairolles. We had a great time all together and enjoyed being at the Domaine. Annoyingly the weather wasn’t very good which slightly changed the dynamics of the holiday! But we enjoyed visiting Carcassonne, Mirepoix and Limoux – it’s a very attractive part of France. The four houses are well appointed and comfortable. The swimming pool area with the fabulous kitchen/dining/lounging area is great. The kitchen has all one wants with lots of fridges. It’s the real highlight of the venue! We also enjoyed being close to the Vineyard, its restaurant and its separate bar. The walks too all around the vineyard and the sleepy village of Brugairolles are great. Another plus are all the sporting facilities. Zoe, the Manager, was extremely helpful, cooked and left us a delicious dinner on the night of our arrival and was generally friendly as was her daughter Melissa. Many thanks again for your help.
The pool really is warm! Yes the pool really is that warm and the view really is that good. A short term home rather than a place to stay, just lovely. We hope to see you again and send our very best wishes.
The house is incredibly colourful and feels just like a real home - warm, personal, and full of character. The pool is lovely, and there’s plenty of shaded areas to relax. The property overall is charming and inviting. A perfect spot for a family getaway!
We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We appreciate how clean it was when we arrived (thanks Yvonne) and the wine. We love the decor and period furnishings. The pool and small barn were great. It was interesting to hear about the history and previous occupants of the house from Bob and Margaret, the English neighbours across the road. Thanks. We spent a truly magical and wonderfully memorably week at Maison Tilleul last summer. It was everything we dreamed of. Stunning grounds, modern facilities, beautiful décor and every amenity you could need. The village is peaceful and picturesque. The countryside was quintessentially French. The historic and geographical wonders that provide endless options for afternoon drives or day trips, were all worth every minute driving through the vineyards and mountain passes that the region offers in abundance. There are wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance and short drives. We had a spectacular evening watching the sun set with a cocktail at Côté Resto set amongst the vines of Domaine Gayda, followed by exquisite cuisine and a buoyant atmosphere. We sampled traditional Blanquette at the atmospheric Abbaye Saint-Hilaire. Explored the impressive Gorges de Saint-Georges and mountain villages. The Cathar castles and ancient city of Minerve, were stunning and like nothing I’ve seen before, both in scale and the history associated with them. I have visited the Languedoc for years, but Le Parc made it a year like no other. Thank you for the privilege – memories have been made and will be treasured.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa in the south of France. I think we have booked through Pure France twice last year and we have been very happy with our booking. The personal customer service is excellent. I will definitely use Pure France again.
We are back home after a really lovely family holiday at Maison Semoussac. The weather was mixed (the rain needed of course) but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. The children loved running down the track leaving little carrots in the hope of seeing hares and picking blackberries which were plentiful. The children's toys and books were wonderful and (surprisingly for their age) they loved playing Monopoly! Marian cooked us a couple of delicious meals too. Thank you so much.
Thank you for much, Philippe and Federica, for being so welcoming, generous and accommodating to our family during our stay at your lovely villa. Fresh pastries in the morning, you have gone above and beyond - and that, combined with the comforts and surroundings of the villa, is what has made this holiday so special. We all loved the comfort of the beds and quality of the linen, the faultless hot water supply and how clean the pool was. This villa really works, allowing us to have a stress-free holiday! So many happy memories made. We hope to be back with a new arrival in tow - but for now, au revoir and merci beaucoup.

We loved our stay - we were in a mixed group and it worked really well as each couple had their own space and privacy, but there are wonderful spaces for entertaining as a large group. The pool area is stunning and the setting is calm, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the bikes on trips to nearby villages too!
Thank you for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Your house, gardens and surroundings are all spectacular. We very much enjoyed picnicing in the back garden and our kids absolutely loved the tree house. Highlights were Saumur market Saturday morning. Dining at La Licorne Fontervuad Château d'Ussé, Zoo BioParc de Doce and the gardens at Château de Villandry. Also a visit with the kids across the road to see the rabbits at the invitation of your friendly neighbours. Many thanks.
The château has been a fabulous place to stay - a unique combination of grandeur and homely comfort. The facilities are superb and typically rural French. The owner received us graciously into her home with a warm welcome. Jean-Marie was a marvel - really helpful and quick to respond to any requests we had. The local area has so much history all around yet there is something for everyone. Châteaux galore everywhere. Would definitely recommend canoeing the Dordogne - if you can manage the trek to canoe past Castelnaud that would be an amazing trip - we set off from St Cyprien which was great too, but the views past Castelnaud would be amazing. We have been lucky with the weather so the children (and adults) have had lots of fun by the pool. Thank you for your hospitality.

A little corner of paradise ! Everything is perfect; the house, the exteriors, the decoration, the atmosphere.
My family (of 4) have stayed at this house on many occasions since the children were babies and it is the perfect house to spend a holiday with another family. The house has a wonderful and relaxed atmosphere and is always welcoming and cool after a hot days sightseeing around the pretty countryside. The swimming pool and grounds are beautiful. What with badminton on the lawn, ping pong in the barn, lazy meals outside in the courtyard and relaxing by the pool, it is possible for the whole family to be well occupied all day long.
Thank you so much for having us. We have had the most amazing week staying here. Could never have imagined such a get away. We feel so lucky to have had this chance to explore the beautiful places around the house and house itself.
We recently stayed for two weeks at this beautiful house and were overwhelmed by its beauty and setting. The house is spacious and extremely well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic relaxing break. A lot of care and thought has gone into the decor and furnishings giving a real homely feel. Fresh flowers in the rooms added to the warmth of our welcome by Frederic, the house manager and Elisabeth and Marian had ensured that everything was immaculate. The town of Duras is close by and we enjoyed the Monday morning markets as well as trips to Bordeaux (by train from Marmande), St Emilion and the wonderful Château de Fayolle where we had an amazing lunch, vineyard tour and wine tasting. This is a beautiful part of France where we have made many happy memories and hope to return one day. Our thanks to the team at Maison Baleyssagues for making our visit so special. Worthy of mention is local driver Mark Pope who provided transport for us during our trip. He needs to be pre- booked but will get you where you need to go if you don't want to drive!
We are off on an amazing two weeks in Le Malardier, a house full of character and so spacious. Thank you Gay and Richard. Our American friends explored the area but we Brits who do not see the sun as much as them were more than happy to lounge around the pool. There was everything you could want in the house and the children were delighted with the toys in the attic! This is a beautiful part of France, the views are spectacular. We found some great restaurants and enjoyed the local culture. Au Revoir.
We had a wonderful stay at Kim's place. The house is perfect, the terrace is quiet and has magnificent views of the fields. The little ones had great fun with the goats, geese, chickens and pony!
