What a fantastic house and grounds. We had great plans for visiting places and doing things with the grandchildren, but they indulged in endless games around the grounds, including the croquet and of course the pool. Croquet from 7.30 to 15.00 meant a wonderful time, so many, many thanks for letting us stay in your home.
Spacious, pretty and very well located house! We had a great week in your accommodation! Host attentive and available to answer questions. Accommodation next to the house (the atelier) is very good when two families stay, each has their own autonomy with their own personal space. We recommend this house without hesitation!

Kids really enjoyed the grounds and plenty to keep them entertained even when the weather was not as nice. So much space to run around and explore. Great pool, very clean. Owners went above and beyond to help us, even offering to give us a lift when needed. Welcoming and friendly reception from Nick and Takayla - really helpful and on hand when needed.
We recently returned from a week's holiday at Maison Palatini in Pézenas. We had a wonderful time.
We had the best week here in this beautiful house, such a perfect location, the house had everything we needed. We didn't have a car but everything was in walking distance. We spent every evening having drinks at 'Le Pub' in the centre of town, very nice cocktails. Restaurant Chez le Gaulois served the best cheese and meats platter, couldn't recommend them more. WE LOVE IT HERE and will definitely be back next year. Thank you Jackie and Geoff for this beautiful stay.

You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect – the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret – and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.

A wonderful stay at the beautiful gite. Sue and Patrick were the perfect hosts. We had lots of fun exploring the areawith our two sons. In particular, we loved the new pool, with our eldest learning to swim on our trip! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Lovely retreat set amongst fruit trees. We stayed at Maison Meunier for the middle week of a three week honeymoon in France. After spending the previous week in Paris it was the perfect contrast allowing us to slow the pace down a little and put our feet up. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and helpful offering advice when required. They're based on site but away from the property in the main buildings. The accommodation itself is lovely and really well equipped with everything you could ever need. Outside, the pool is great for cooling off during sunbathing and the view from the terrace is beautiful with quince, apple and fig trees between the property and the nearby lake. We spent most evenings cooking on the barbecue with the fabulous local produce we picked up from the market or supermarket. Nearby there are a number of châteaux to explore and also traditional bastide towns to wander round and grab a coffee or cold glass of champagne. All in all, a lovely stay at a lovely place. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
We have spent two delightful weeks ago Maison Labarde belonging to Jean and Martin. Over 30 years we have stayed in more than a dozen properties in France and if we rated them all this would be at the top. It is in a part of France that we are familiar with and we enjoyed the local markets and the history of the bastide towns. A visit to a recently renovated château was well worth it. It was set in beautiful grounds with impressive pool and gazebo. As well as dining terrace and outdoor kitchen. The gite itself was roomy and very well equipped. We wanted for nothing. And it was certainly value for money. Jean and Martin were perfect hosts - just the right balance between being available when we needed them and leaving us to our privacy. I cannot end without mentioning Tanner the superb, well behaved, friendly, German Shepherd. We lost our hearts to him as well as this beautiful holiday home. We would happily return another year.
Wonderful house. Thank you for our wonderful stay. We were a large party of friends looking for somewhere scenic to spend a week together. We were excited when we booked but over the moon when we arrived to the beautiful house. The space works really well for a large group of people with multiple areas to comfortably sit and hang out. We had some delicious dinners and breakfasts (cooked in the well equipped kitchen and BBQ) out on the deck and the view made them even more magical. Even though the house is wonderful to relax and play in the pool in we found some lovely things to do in the surrounding area. There's a wonderful restaurant right by the house and kayaking and wake-boarding about an hour drive and some nice villages not far. Overall if you want a place that feels private and scenic and is still functional and comfortable then this an ideal place. We hope to come back soon!

We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house in this stunning location. The sunflowers fields are just gorgeous and we will forever have fond memories of Gascony and the sunflowers. We loved the setting, location and character of this beautiful house which we feel could tell many interesting stories (... if only walls could speak!). Our boys loved the pool and made great friends with the friendly tortoise. R. favours the name 'Toby' and B. likes 'Edouard'. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch for my birthday at Bistro Maritime and looking forward to dinner at Bistro Pharell for our last evening. Great days out exploring St-Émilion-Libourne. A great trip by train (so easy) to Bordeaux. The bassin de lumière is amazing if you have a wet day. We also loved watching the Mascaret from the house - so glad we were here on the 'right' day.
Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home. We have had a wonderful time and would recommend this farmhouse to anyone. This relaxing week has been enjoyed by all and the weather has been superb. Thank you.
Our visit was a combination of stepping back in time and renewing our future selves. The estate is a magical place to explore and I found myself checking out of life's hustle and bustle. A short stroll to the village offered a variety of delicious fare, shopping and amazing photo opportunities!
We would like to thank you for the wonderful holiday we enjoyed again last year in Navacelles. This house is a heaven on earth. We stayed here twice over the last 3 years (not 3 times only because we were too late to book). Very quiet, wonderful views and still close enough to restaurants and shops. Everything the website promised us was there. The house is superbly decorated and has a wonderful garden and pool. The kids (and the parents) had their highlight of the year again. We won't tell anyone how nice this place is:-). We ll be back soon...
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. The welcome pack is the best and most comprehensive we have every had and was so appreciated. Thank you! We would love to come again some time!

We have all had an absolutely beautiful week here at Le Chanlie. A truly special house in a magical setting. We will be back ! The pool area was such fun for us all and the bedrooms so relaxing.
Fantastic holiday in this fantastic mini-château. Having recently arrrived from California and staying with our French in-laws, it was a truly amazing holiday. Lots of eating, drinking, swimming, tourism and of course table-tennis. A bientôt.
