My husband and I rented this charming house for 2 weeks in August with our 2 young daughters and we are already planning a return trip next year! Firstly, the pool is stunning. It's huge and spotless and we could barely get the girls out of it! The house is big and spacious and the newly decorated bathrooms made me feel like I was staying at Soho House! The house is situated in a lovely little town on the Canal du Midi. There is a huge wine shop next door and several bars and restaurants within walking distance on the quay. We had day trips to the beach at Gruissan and Leucate which were stunning Mediterranean resorts and barely 40 minutes away.

An excellent week with the family with the little ones (2, 5, 9 years old) and adults who have enjoyed the swimming pool, the games, table tennis, volleyball... the barbecue and the many possibilities offered by the house for lunch, dinner and rest. The surrounding villages offer evening walks where you can meet producers and taste local specialties (foie gras, duck breasts, wines...). Many châteaux to visit and canoeing on the Dordogne. A good stay in a beautiful region.
Thank you so much for making our visit to the Lot so very special. Your generous hospitality was astounding. Nothing was too much trouble, every request for information assiduously followed up and always discretely so you never intruded on our privacy. Along the way we feel we’ve made a new friend. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, we lacked for nothing. Nestled in amongst the vineyards we were fortunate enough to be there in time to watch and participate in the harvest. You even arranged for us to sample the wines made from the vineyards in the area. It was impossible not to take some home with us. Lots to explore, amazing restaurants, we fell in love with the Lot. We can fully appreciate how this haven stole your heart. Having holidayed over many years in France, this was definitely the highlight of all our travels. Thank you so much for making our holiday so special.
We stayed at this beautiful place with 10 adults and one child. The house is large and magnificent with every comfort thought of. Beautifully decorated and everything of quality. The heated swimming pool was amazing. Jim was charming and helped us organise the stay and the housekeeper gave us a very warm welcome. We will definitely be coming back for future family reunions.

Galina was a great and accommodating host and we appreciated our stay at her villa. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. Just note that the connected rooms on the first floor have separate entrance. More generally and even thought there are a couple of elements which could be improved, we certainly will recommend renting the villa.
We have loved our holiday in Sarlat, so many perfect moments made our holiday a memorable one, delicious restaurants, stunning Chateaus and a peacefully (long )canoe trip along the Vézère. France once again you have delivered. Merci.

Beautifully restored property of great character. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. The location is peaceful, with fabulous views over the vineyards, yet within an easy drive to many places of interest. Outside, there are plenty of areas to relax in the sun or shade. Very generous welcome gifts, including two bottles of top quality Blanquette de Limoux and delicious pastries (and a second delivery of pastries later during our stay!). The open garage was large enough to shade our van, motorbike and cycles. Above all, Quentin was the most wonderfully kind host. A truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.
We have had a fantastic stay in this fabulous property and wanted to say how much we loved The Loft! It was everything we had expected and more; it is fantastically equipped and we wanted for nothing. Karen and Russell are excellent hosts and we hope to stay here again in the future. I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday. The only terrible part was leaving! The house was perfect and we all fell in love with it. And the views were wonderful from every room. The whole family have lots of happy memories of our 2 weeks there so thank you.
This must be the perfect summer holiday Villa for a small family. As a couple we were joined by some friends for part of our stay and we had a great time in the sun. The O 13 Clochers restaurant in Monteton is under new management and serves superb food. Hostellerie des Ducs good quality- and the restaurant in Seyches is incredible value. We are sure to return.
The gite is beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the hosts Kirstie and Russell have made sure you have everything you need for your break. There is a lovely private seating area outside with dining area, hot tub and patio which looks out onto the orchard and fields. Wonderful place to stay in a great location for visiting local vineyards and historical towns and villages.
Had the most relaxing week just wished we'd booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Maison Baleyssagues is so peaceful and tranquil and somehow the walls resonate with the music within. Perfect, Thank you Frédéric.
We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. We stayed at the end of June to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday with family and friends (16 of us). The setting is beautiful and looks out over a valley which is particularly nice in the evenings whilst relaxing on the terrace with a wine or two. We had a fabulous holiday. There's something for everyone at the château, lots of activities in the sports hall to keep everyone occupied but what we especially enjoyed was the vintage swimming pool and the golf course which was challenging but enormous fun. Our week flew by far too quickly and we will certainly look to return. Thank you to the owners Nicky and Richard for making us feel so welcome and for making my wife's birthday such a special occasion.
A truly fabulous house, super comfortable and well equipped with everything you could want. The incredible kitchen is a joy to cook in. The pool was warm and super clean. This was a really special place for our family holiday with lots of space to spread out. Clare gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Andy cooked us a delicious meal for us which is a real treat. The area is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards, unspoilt local towns and villages. We would love to return and show the area and house to other friends and family.
We spent a night in this pretty villa lost at the bottom of the woods and vineyards during a wedding evening nearby (Franco's estate, also a superb place). We were quiet (and for good reason, no neighbours around). The villa is very well equipped. The bedding is excellent. Wonderful.
We loved the location and house. Very large and comfortable with nice dining area and amazing pool, well secured with electric cover. Very calm area. Lots of things to do and discover. We will come back again.
A lovely fortnight here in Ventenac-en-Minervois. The house and all of its wonderful facilities are exactly as billed and everything is in first class condition. We enjoyed eating at the 'Grillade du Château' - excellent meat cooked on a wood fire whilst being entertained by their chickens! We also explored villages by the Canal du Midi - Homps and Le Somail and went to the medieval village of Lagrasse which was excellent. Thanks to our excellent hosts, Eric and Dominique, they were extremely helpful and responsive to any queries we had. We recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable holiday.
