We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. We had a fabulous time staying in this very stylish and well equipped house, enjoying both the heat wave and the incredible storm. We loved the swimming pool and the pool and table tennis tables. We visited Vaison la Romaine and Avignon and enjoyed both of them. The market in Nyons was very impressive and very busy, so it was worth going early. We loved eating at the resto des arts in Nyons particulary enjoying the ravioli. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely house it is quite stunning.

This is a lovely villa. Probably one of the best appointed in which we have ever stayed. The pool and outdoor areas are just delightful. Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter enjoyed picking up wonderful plums and playing with the games and toys in the little library. Adults enjoyed the beautiful view end is sunsets. How peaceful our surroundings where especially when we are used to the traffic noise of city! Special thanks to Frederick who helped us where we had a little medical emergency.
We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying at Villa Pey de la Salle celebrating our joint 50th birthdays with friends from around the world. The house is only three years old, beautifully designed and appointed and incredibly spacious and accommodating for big groups (we had 10 people). We were also delighted with the location, which was quiet and private being several kilometres outside the village of Fayence, but with access to Nice, Cannes and St Tropez less than an hour away. The owner Vincent and property manager Isa were very friendly and helpful and the Pure France administration was fast and efficient. We will certainly be recommending this service and property to our friends and look forward to visiting again in the future.
Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Very pretty new hotel, charmingly furnished in the beautiful wine village of Meursault. You can get to Beaune very quickly, but Dijon is also easily accessible by car. Very nice, warm hosts.
We have just returned from a fabulous week at Mas des Rivailles. The property is located along a quiet lane and for the majority of the time all you could hear were the birds singing. We have stayed in the local area previously but there were still places we wanted to visit. However we were lucky to have superb weather and we decided to stay at the villa most days as we just did not want to leave the pool and relaxing atmosphere. The salt water pool is definitely the best one we have had so far. The villa is well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and the gardens are well kept. We would like to give a special thank you to Frédéric who met us on arrival and was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He gave us a guided tour and explained how everything worked. It certainly made for a great start to our holiday. A delicious and generous welcome pack was waiting for us on our arrival too. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing break.
Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites! Thank you so much for a relaxing week - it was just what we needed! The Loft is truly exceptional and Oscar has loved playing in the garden. Visits to Narbonne, Carcassonne and the Sigean Animal Reserve were great. The highlight for us was the Gouffe de Cabesprine caves - a must see!
Perfect! Cottage du Jardin is beautiful with real attention to detail and the pool is amazing! It was lovely and quiet but close enough to everything we needed, lots of historic towns/villages with great markets to wander around and great chateaux! Would absolutely stay again, a lovely relaxing holiday.

We have been staying here with our grown up children who have not been to this area before, and have loved the house and the area. The weather has been so hot! So we really appreciated the wonderful pool. A great kitchen which we have used extensively and adore having every meal outside. Thank you for your help and your lovely house.

What a wonderful Loft! We love all the furniture; so lovely to have 'proper furnishings' and not sofas with throws! We loved all the 'Maisons du Monde' additions and the kitchen is great to cook in. Wonderful attention to detail, so that you really feel 'at home'. The terrace is fabulous; we loved sitting out there first thing in the morning. Thanks also for all the recommendations for the specialist wine tours - our wine trip was first rate. Your hospitality and company was excellent and we loved the trip to see 'Le Jardin Champetre' nursery - thank you. Also, the pool is so clear and wonderful to swim in.
Excellent stay in an idyllic setting! We had a wonderful week long stay with the family. The hosts are charming and very helpful. The house is very pleasant to live in and the bedding is excellent! The swimming pool is superb, the pool house also ... in short, a perfect week!

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Charvin for 2 weeks in August 2022. The house itself is lovely. The pictures on the site perhaps do not do it justice. We are a family of 6 (four teenagers) however there was ample accommodation for all. Most importantly, for the teenagers, no complaints about the Wi-Fi! The village in which the house is situated is picturesque to say the least. There is a fantastic restaurant within walking distance, Vins de Dagne where the food and wine were truly exceptional (but you need to book ahead). There is also a small store, but that was not really sufficient for anything other than the odd top up (and a bit overpriced). Although we were a little concerned about the lack of onsite parking, that really was not a problem at all, with ample roadside parking just at the end of the street. The fact that the outside areas are all surrounded by high walls did worry us at first, as you would inevitably get shade in one part or other at either end of the day. However, the weather was blisteringly hot and so the shade provided by the Courtyard garden was an absolute godsend. That said, the same shade meant that the pool never quite got to a truly comfortable temperature for the millennial teenagers and was a bit chilly. Although, on many of the hottest days, to my mind, that was a blessed relief! It is the outside areas that truly make this house. It is completely private, not overlooked at all, beautifully lit up at night and well equipped with BBQ, table and chairs (for six) and a multitude of loungers and towels. The location of the house was good. The town of Montlaur is just; 20 minutes drive to the nearest Le clerc just outside Carcassonne. 30 minutes to the lake at Caracassone with its inflatable aqua park and the ‘go ape’ tree climbing and zipwire site. 90 minutes to the beach at Narbonne. A little over 90 minutes to the airport at Toulouse and to the whitewater rafting at Belvianes-et Cavirac (which was fantastic!) Sharon was extremely helpful when needed, only a phone call away but otherwise we were left to ourselves. All in all it was great holiday and a house that I would truly recommend.
I had the most amazing time with my friends at this gorgeous château! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, like out of a movie. The château itself is enchanting while still being super comfortable. We had a great time checking out the local towns and markets. Just such a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it!

Thank you for such an amazing holiday. It's been so peaceful and relaxing. We've loved your beautiful houser, grounds and pool. It's a really special place. We had a lovely day out in Bergerac a we swam at Lac de Pombonne which was lovely - just a few minutes drive away. We also had a nice evening in Périgueux. Mostly though we just enjoyed relaxing on the terrace by the pool! Thanks so much we hope to return.
