Our family of 10 stayed here for a week and we loved every minute. The attention to detail in the chateau was wonderful. Everything we could have needed was provided. Philippe and Frederique were the most wonderful hosts. We highly recommend Chateau de Marquisat!
We found the property by chance a few years ago and have been back twice since and will be returning with our 4 and 6 year old kids again this July! We have come to think of it as our French home away from home. The house is beautifully located and the interior and exterior space makes for a fabulous family vacation. The pool on the lower terrace gives enough separation that you can keep the kids safely away and the pool alarm adds that extra level of comfort. The owners continue to maintain and upgrade the property well and the new BBQ area on the terrace gets used daily for those lunch and evening meals overlooking the valley. The short stroll to town is easy and avoids having to worry about cars and parking, although a glass or two of Provence wine helps with the walk back up the hill afterwards which could be a challenge for those less mobile. Most hire cars will fit up the lane to the house (we had a Volvo C90 last year and were fine) but if you have a very large people carrier it can get a little narrow to maneuver round the corner at the bottom. The house is perfect for one or two families to enjoy a wonderful escape.
Dear friends from Paris hosted us as their guests at your château. They could not have given us a more memorable, magical, truly incredible experience!
The property Mas des Rivailles is a super place in a great part of France. One of the best swimming pools we have experienced and the family used it all day every day during our stay. The house is really comfortable with lots of areas where the family could spread out to do some work or just have time on their own. Having three formal eating areas meant we could mix it up where we had lunch and dinner. There are great countryside views from all of the windows and the house is in a very peaceful and serene setting. I must commend Frederic, the local property manager. He was there to greet us when we arrived and lead us through the property and all of the bits and pieces and local knowledge which made the experience so great. He is very solution focussed and solved minor issues in a no nonsense, relaxed and timely fashion. Many thanks for all.
An incredible place. We rented this large and beautiful house for two weeks and we did not regret it: the calm, the view, the large swimming pool and the comfort gave us a dream stay. I highly recommend.

What a wonderful break away!! Mark and Gary have created a perfect haven…the attention to detail both internally and externally is amazing. Beautiful decor and art in the gite and a stunning pool area surrounded by nature and birdsong- it’s so restorative and peaceful. From the minute you arrive you feel looked after with the luxurious welcome hamper, cocktail on arrival and local artisan soaps and moisturisers throughout the gite. Would highly recommend and will be back!
What a wonderful week, the house has real soul and you have thoughtfully made the very best of each view. Wonderful seats in the garden, shade and sun to maximise the pleasure. The house is absolutely charming and all the finishing touches have made for a very special week. Not only a holiday but I feel culturally enhanced too. Uzes is absolutely perfect + great shops + food!
Everything you would need is provided for a perfect stay in this part of southern France. A range of seating areas throughout the garden and the pool were delightful. The villa was very well equipped and comfortable The hosts were charming, friendly and helpful, but very discrete.
A family home that will enchant you for a weekend or more. A large exterior with swimming pool and in addition, very well arranged where all the spaces are wonderfully well thought out and decorated. A perfect arrival with recommendations on visits and things to visit nearby. An over-equipped kitchen and a whole bunch of practical utensils. The bonus, 9 bicycles are available to enjoy the surroundings. I highly recommend.
The view from the apartment is more stunning than the photos can capture as is the pool area. The outdoor area is comfortable and relaxing overlooking the sea. The apartment was very clean and fitted with all the amenities one needs for a holiday. There are many restaurants within a short walk, a fabulous fully equipped supermarket just across the road and also a short walk to there train station for day trips to Cannes, Antibes, Nice and beyond. The bus stop to the airport is also very close. There is nothing to fault about the apartment. It was perfect in every way.
We had the most relaxing and wonderful stay at this property. Julian and Pascal made us feel very welcome, gave us all the privacy we needed but were on hand if we had any problems. The house is charming and quiet with a beautiful orchard and quite possibly one of the nicest pools we've ever had! One of the highlights for us was watching the bats come out at night. We would love to return one day.

We have just returned from a very successful holiday in Villa Bellara. We were seven (incl two children) in week one and two for most of week two. We were certainly comfortable. The villa is situated in a quiet residential road, so no problems with early morning noise! It is about eight minutes walk from an excellent patisserie for buying croissants etc for breakfast, with an excellent fruit shop opposite. A supermarket is a little further, but easily reached. The beach is about 12 minutes walk. Access to other locations is simple via Cagnes station, (eg Nice or Cannes) and there is a free bus to Cagnes en Haut which is well worth a visit. The property is excellently maintained, the kitchen equipment first class and well thought out. There is a splendid terrace overlooking the pool, with an awning over the dining table which seated us all comfortably. In the evening, the small garden has under lighters under the trees and at midnight, sprays raise up from the grass to water it. The garden, though small, is well maintained, with hedges all round making it very private. We had a most enjoyable, memorable holiday.
Ideally located close to the Dordogne and Sarlat, Le Borghesia offers great services in a preserved and calm environment. Its interior layout perfectly combines the charm of the old with modern comfort. The decoration, partly composed of family furniture and paintings, adds a touch of soul to this charming farmhouse where we spent a very pleasant week. The very welcoming owners are a wealth of information about the region. One regret, not having had time to visit their other rentals located close to Borghesia.

I loved staying in this lovely house. The garden was my favourite part of it. I did enjoy having a dip in the pool. I'm glad to say I am satisfied with my stay.
The castle exceeded all our expectations from the very first glimpse. As a family celebration of 18 people spread over 3 generations with ages ranging from 9 to 74 years, there is more than enough for everyone to do… though the pool was such a massive hit, we didn’t stray too far!! Nicky and Richard were available to answer any questions or offer advice. The private caterers they suggested for a special celebration were totally amazing. The rooms, the views (oh, those views!), the outdoor seating areas dotted around allowed for quiet reflections too. From the bbq, the fire pit, the sports hall with activities ranging from pool/table tennis/darts/ boxing bag, weights (for those inclined!), table football/badminton and more, the numerous bikes which some used to cycle the 12 minutes to the bakery for morning croissants and baguettes, to the well equipped kitchen and multiple fridges, washing machine, the magical lighting in the evening, this gem will not disappoint. It really is the epitome of a fairytale château. Such a memorable week. Well done to Nicky and Richard.

Located in a beautiful environment by the Canal du Midi in a small village full of charm with its small stone bridge, restaurants and this incredible bookstore, this accommodation is perfect. Beautiful bedrooms with their own very spacious bathrooms, a very warm living room with its fireplace, beautiful ceiling height, a well-equipped open kitchen and pretty beams. A nice pool area, a large garden, lovely terrace are also worth highlighting. The hospitality is perfect. I highly recommend it.
Our fourth year running and just as lovely as ever. A delightful house - elegantly yet comfortably furnished - tucked away in complete privacy and quiet, yet close to the lovely hilltop village of Gordes. A blissful spot in which to do nothing or lots - just as you will. We can't wait to go back.
We stayed with our 2 children aged 5 and 7 and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of things to do nearby and the accomodation was well equiped and great for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful for long hot afternoons and there is lots of outdoor space to explore. The hosts were very helpful and I would recommend this place to my friends.

Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Cottage du Jardin is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful area. It is newly refurbished and has a very classic country feel inside. Gorgeous furnishings and all the facilities that you need for a self-catering stay. The bathrooms are great. The mattresses are firm but the bedrooms are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need, we never felt the need for anything that wasn't to hand. The hosts are very welcoming and have the right balance of checking in and leaving you to it (they live next door). They were able to tell us about local restaurants and must-visit places which was really handy. The pool is very nice, clean and very large for the size of the property. The village is lovely and Montignac is only a few minutes by car, this is a good-sized town with banks and a supermarket. Would recommend!
Dearest Madeline and Alan, thank you so much for yet another amazing stay with you at Camirout. It has been as wonderful as always. An absolutely amazing stay – we will return! We had the most wonderful 6-day stay at Petite Maison de Campagne. Set in a peaceful, tranquil location, we woke up each morning to the sights and sounds of cows from the neighbouring farm grazing in the fields – such a lovely view to enjoy while having coffee and breakfast. The pool and sun loungers were exactly what we needed for the hot French summer, and our son loved relaxing in the hammock under the trees. The property itself has been beautifully restored, with everything you could possibly want or need – including Wi-Fi (essential when travelling with two teens!). Our host was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was clear and friendly from the moment we booked, with all the information we needed to find the property and settle in. She even recommended some brilliant places to visit. I had one query during our stay, which she answered promptly and helpfully. The surrounding area offers so much to see and do – we only managed a fraction of it, so we’ll definitely have to come back to explore more. I highly recommend La Maison Nid to anyone looking for a relaxing yet well-equipped place to stay in this beautiful part of France. We loved it and can’t wait to return.
