We really loved the outside spaces and swimming pool and the children enjoyed the outdoor toys. Really fabulous catering. Such a perfect location for a multi-generational trip which we'll all remember for years to come. Thank you so much.
Our 2nd stay in Maison des Combes was very successful. The weather allowed us to enjoy the pool, walks and visits. Many deer and squirrels this year. 3 very friendly donkeys have embellished some productive fishing parties. Thank you to Karine and Pascale for their welcome and to Mr. Michelin for making this magnificent site available to us.
Thank you so much for a much needed relaxing week in your beautiful home! We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here, especially time spent in the beautiful garden where we enjoyed the wonderful weather and had lots of fun - very enjoyable for my 5 year old! In the 30 or so years we have been coming to France for our holidays I don't think we have stayed in a more lovely house. A very tranquil spot, with everything we could possibly need. We have enjoyed our stay immensely, whether lying by the pool or venturing out further to the beaches or the Verden Gorges, all wonderful. Thank you for sharing your well loved home, the view from the swing seat is to die for!
I'd like to thank you for the fantastic stay we had in your amazing cottage Maison Bourg Calès. It was simply beautiful and my family and I absolutely loved every second of our stay. The weather was brilliant and there aren't enough words to describe how stunning your cottage is. We would definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to any friends. What a gorgeous retreat from city life! We booked three weeks at the house and enjoyed every minute of it. The outside kitchen is fantastic, it felt like we had our own private restaurant. The pool was perfect for our three children and the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are stunning. Alexandra was easily contactable in case of any queries or issues. All in all, highly recommended!

This has been an exceptional family holiday in your beautiful home with so much care – incredible welcoming brood, cheeses, wines and then several deliveries of pastries and melons during the week. The generosity of this meal in Monday was so welcomed – such an unexpected treat. The villa is so spectacular with really good provisions and the swimming pool where we have spent many happy hours, the BBQ and lots of seating areas. Bedrooms all lovely. We loved the location and did lots of cycling through local villages including Capestang for the market – great to meet the locals and some of us cycled to Béziers. A highlight was driving to Gorge d’Héric for a short walk and a swim in one of the rock pools there and then a drink in the very scenic town of Roquebrun. So much laughter and happiness and memories to be cherished. I would love to return for my 70th, 5 years’ time! Many thanks for an incredible stay helped enormously by sunshine every day.
Our stay was completely amazing. The views around the house are breathtaking and the house itself was a delight. We enjoyed many swims, BBQs, games and film nights. Thank you so much for hosting us all, we are all hoping we’ll return some day soon!!
We had the most amazing time - thank you so much! A beautiful house in the most beautiful setting. We could happily stay for ever. Seven adults and a handful of kids between 1-12 and it was perfect. We are already planning to come back next year!

An amazing week spent with family celebrating a 50th birthday location was perfect, quiet but close to amenities such as a lovely bakery and shops. The property has everything: plenty of space to relax but also plenty of space to socialise and mingle. Philippe was an amazing host, providing an introduction to the property and location, bringing pastries twice during our stay and proving a complementary wine tour of Saint-Chinian and evening meal at Le Pourquoi Pas (which was to die for food and location). Highly recommend during your stay to take a boat tour down the Canal du Midi from Colombiers and kayaking down the river Orb from Roquebun. Thank you for your hospitality.
A lovely town house in a quiet village, with the added bonus of a pool. We enjoyed dining on the terrace in the evening watching the sun set.

We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. Le Château de La Loire had a perfect location for exploring the Loire valley. It finds itself close to places such as Saumur, many beautiful castles, vine tastings, champignons farms and other highlights of that region. The hosts have been great and the place has all you need with pool, yoga lessons, massages services, excellent breakfast, quiet park and art exhibitions... we will come back!
Just back from a lovely trip to France and a great stay at Le Chambarru! The owners were great and keep the house beautifully...
We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here in Vouvant. Piglet Barn is an excellent mix of loveliness with all your touches and thoughtfulness to make a stay so welcoming and enjoyable. On top of this, we have had the delight of wine, peaches, home-made almond cake and two evening apéros in your wonderful company.

The villa has entirely been renovated, very well designed and equipped. It is located in a small village only a few kilometres from Pézenas. Quiet and relaxing area. Excellent stay.
We had a great stay everything was there the calm, the sun, the pool, a super well-equipped cottage with enough to take good walks. We met many animals,,deer, owls, egrets and especially donkeys for the great pleasure of the children. A pure family moment very revitalising. Thank you very much for your welcome.
This has been a most restful and restoring holiday after the misery of Covid etc. We have to thank Alan and Madeline for great kindness and for literally going the extra mile when we couldn't find our way home. We've enjoyed local restaurants: try Aubord de la Source, St Livrade for a special treat, Les Rives du Plantie. We went north to Cancon market (Monday mornings). There's a village called St. Pastour on the way where a young couple have a very good restaurant (week day lunch and some evenings) called Le Relais Bastide. Thank you again Madeline and Alan. Almost forgot to say don't miss the lilies and lunch at Latour-Marliac. Monet bought his waterlilies here, having seen them at the great Paris Exhibition.
Beautiful home. A lovely house with gardens, exceptionally peaceful and private. Lovely pool and all the facilities. Saint-Alvère also a lovely village.
