An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the nearby markets and small community which surrounds the château. Thank you Phil and Claire. Spacious rooms, historic building and thoughtful amenities.
Our week at Maison Charvin from Arlo, the family dog. My family thinks that Maison Charvin is simply beautiful: opulently furnished, exquisitely decorated. More of a château than a maison. That said, my mummy says it’s not pretentious but cosy and homely, much appreciated on the unusually slightly chilly and windy days for part of our stay. The pool has provided instant relief for my family when the weather has been hot and sunny. My human brothers’ favourite space is the very relaxing courtyard where my mummy and I have dozed off on numerous occasions! My daddy has very much enjoyed reading many books from the vast collection. The house is deceptively large, providing ample chilling space for everyone, including me after a hot day in the sun. We enjoyed visiting Trebes (on the Canal), Carcassonne, Lagrasse and the dog-friendly beach in Narbonne. My family enjoyed the pizza which they ordered from the pizza van by the church on Thursday late afternoon. They also had baguettes and pastries (ordered in advance) from Aurelien at Vins de Dagne.
We are having a great time and the house is just perfect. The kids are loving the games room and the pool - our 11 year old is pretty much wrinkly all the time!
Thanks a lot for the most pleasant time in your villa. The communication with you was exceptional! Thanks for the tips and for being so proactive with everything. We enjoyed the pool and sunshine! Cooking very much – forward to coming back in the future.
We had a lovely couple of weeks here. The property is beautiful and the weather was kind. Some gorgeous scenery and places to visit.
We spent, with our 4 children, stepchildren and our 2 granddaughters, 2 weeks of extraordinary holidays at Domaine Rabassie, from September 12 to 26. Domaine Rabassie is a magnificent place, a true haven of peace, beautifully decorated and more than comfortable. The photos on the site are already very pretty, but the reality is even better. What about the facilities: the super hyper equipped kitchen, the bedding (super comfortable king size beds), the heated swimming pool and its many sun beds, the pizza oven (homemade pizzas cooked on wood, a delight!), Billiard, the ping-pong table and….. the tennis court with, what's more, night lighting. We played tennis games at all hours…. a real pleasure. We cannot, of course, talk about Domaine Rabassie, without talking about the caretakers who live 2 km from the Domaine. They take care of the Estate with passion and perfection, they are charming and so dedicated. They greatly contributed to the success of our vacation. Many thanks to them. Thank you also to the owner for the hospitality (without forgetting the Blanquette de Limoux as a welcome gift). You feel at home at Domaine Rabassie. Holidays to live or relive without any hesitation.
It was truly a first class apartment, in a superb location with lovely sea views. Corinne and her husband were perfect hosts: excellent communication before our arrival, welcoming, friendly and very helpful during our stay, without ever being intrusive. We appreciated the impeccable modern interior of the apartment, the terrace and all the little touches provided by Corinne; we took advantage of the proximity to numerous restaurants and the possibility to stroll along the seafront - as well as enjoying the rooftop swimming pool, the beach and the marina with its unique atmosphere. We will come back with great pleasure and I highly recommend the apartment.
We are back home safely again after our enjoyable trip to France. And of course the best part was our stay in your lovely house. It is the best rental accommodation we have been in because of the feeling that we were in a real home - it is beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. There wasn’t anything that you didn’t provide in every room and such an amazing amount of activities to keep everyone amused. We re just sad that the grandchildren weren’t with us as they would have loved the pool and garden. We sent videos of the games room with the train track set up as my grandson has one at home!
Really enjoyed it, bbq's every night, would have loved to have stayed another week.
Another lovely holiday at the Loft du Vigneron, this time for 2 weeks. It was lovely to see Karen and Russell again. They were charming and hospitable just like before Everything was perfect for us and the weather was amazing, swam every day in the beautiful pool. Karen booked some restaurants for us, recommended by her, and they were excellent. Highly recommend this property, the best ever.
We have had a lovely week here. Great house, lovely garden and pool. The weather was perfect and the sightseeing has been great. Biking too! We hope to see you again someday.
Many thanks for a wonderful stay. You have made the place very comfortable and welcoming and so safe for children. So many interesting things to discover in the region to. In one word it has been the 'perfect' holiday for the whole family (10 of us!). We do hope to return, 'donc je vous dis à bientôt et mille mercis'.
We have had a wonderfully relaxing week in this beautiful house. The views are amazing and we enjoyed some wonderful drives out to various villages in the area. Nyons is a great place to have so nearby.
Exceptional house in an exceptional setting! The house is ideally located, away from the tourist crowds with magnificent hikes nearby but close enough to Apt for basic needs. The house is as pleasant indoors in bad weather as it is outdoors the rest of the time. The kitchen is very well equipped. The host was available before the stay to advise us on all logistical aspects. An on-site contact was also made during the stay.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We have had a lovely week staying in your beautiful house. Enjoyed meals and a glass of wine of an evening looking out over the stunning countryside views. We hope to return in the future.
We all enjoyed the stay at the villa. We liked the location - both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pézenas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc) Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football! It was also nice to have a pool - although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa. We liked the fact that you contacted us personally - it offered us reassurance prior to our trip - thanks for your help. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit the villa again. Fantastic stay in an amazing location. We were 6 adults and 5 children staying for 2 weeks. The weather was still mild and sunny in October and the views on the Corsican mountains and the bay of Ajaccio were stunning. The villa is spacious, very well furnished and in top shape. We used the living room fireplace (it has an extraordinary sixteenth century mantelpiece) every night, it was magical. It is a great place for families.

I can only agree wholeheartedly with what Sue and Mike have written. You have a lovely home and I have really enjoyed my stay here. We loved our stay - we were in a mixed group and it worked really well as each couple had their own space and privacy, but there are wonderful spaces for entertaining as a large group. The pool area is stunning and the setting is calm, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the bikes on trips to nearby villages too!
Wow! What an amazing house in such a wonderful location! We've just come back from spending a week here and I was so sad to leave. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautifullt decorated. You really couldn't ask for a better location - the street is very peaceful (we didn't hear a thing, despite sitting out in the garden until late in the evening, every night) and yet you are in the centre of town within few minutes walk - we loved strolling into the main part of town for an ice cream in the day or a drink at night. Parking is easy; we didn't use the garage in the end despite having two cars between us. The pool is wonderful, especially when its really hot and the decked area and BBQ just make the garden a really relaxing, usable space to enjoy.
We had a wonderful time at Le Sechoir…countless idle days reading by the pool in the sun. So so special after the last year.

Thank you so much for the most incredible week, we have made so many memories. Everything about the house has been perfect, such an easy space to relax in. Our family gathering of 6 adults and a toddler was thoroughly enjoyed at this lovely villa. It is very large and spacious with huge bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. It was very generously kitted out, especially the kitchen which had more than enough for our large party. The grounds were very child friendly with safely gates and mainly level surfaces. It was ideally suited to access the lovely town of Pézenas which has an abundance of individual shops and places to eat. We would highly recommend it for a large group and wouldn't hesitate to return

Where to begin? Booked this wonderful house 10 months ago. Often looked at the pictures and thought can anywhere be so perfect... it can! The sheer joy of walking from room to room, spending entire days outside by and in the pool. Simple living in a sumptuous house which just keeps giving with it's character, beautiful art and furniture. Was this as perfect as I imagined? Absolutely. Would I come back? Without a doubt. Loved every minute'
