What a fantastic week we had at Mas de Clouze. The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail like the towels and soap in all the showers. The woods proved to be brilliant for treasure hunts for the kids and of course we spent many hours at the lovely pool! All in all a great week! We’d love to come back.
Our week of vacation spent in your property was a success. The house is spotless, very, very clean and with a lot of attention (welcome products in the bathrooms, recent and clean linen, welcome basket, games). The barn with the ping pong table, darts, table football, billiards and where we could play sports, is wonderful. The long walks around the vines with Tutus delighted me, despite the showers. The Super U in Mirambeau has a very nice butcher's department. The meat is excellent. The fish department, with its oysters, shrimps and fish is also excellent. Tracy goes to great lengths to keep everything spotless when the vacationers arrive. The bouquet of fresh flowers on the table when we arrived was another attention that everyone noted.

We spent a week at Villa Valente. We liked it so much, that we would love to return next year.
Fantastic stay - group of 10 adults and 10 children. Great set up to keep both groups well entertained and some additional surprises like a play area next to one of the outside eating areas. Sports hall and pool both huge, the later keeping us cool in the hot afternoons. The owners also helped us arrange a local cook to cater on some evenings and also a local wine producer to do a wine tasting.
Hi, we arrived last night and have managed to get installed into this lovely house! We had high expectations, but the house exceeds them!
Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.
Lovely place for us to spend a week. Villa Kali is very comfortable and well equipped.
We had a fantastic week at La Malardier. It has been so peaceful and relaxing pottering around the beautiful garden and swimming in the pool. The weather has been rather mixed but the week has flown by and we are all very sorry to be leaving.
We have had a very relaxing and restful week here, with perfect weather. We loved the pool, playing table tennis and darts. The house has everything you could need and we have enjoyed having so much space inside and out! The surrounding area has lots to offer – Chauvigny is beautiful (we recommend The VeloRail) and we spent a wonderful afternoon kayaking at Angles sur L’Anglin.
Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was absolutely wonderful! The property is beautiful, the location is stunning, the hosts were fantastic - so helpful and friendly, made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable Dordogne getaway.
Beautiful property set in lovely grounds. We were a group of 16, 8 adults and 8 children. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property which is very well kitted out and has large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. The pictures of the garden on the website do not do it justice and we particular liked the barbecue area and seating up on the terrace with lovely views, whilst the kids loved the pool. The owners were on hand for our stay and very helpful in accommodating our youngest guest and day to day queries. Would recommend it as a place to stay.
Charming house in the most picturesque hill top village that has been lovingly restored with air con and a pool to help you cool off in the heat. The surrounding area has lots to offer and you can find great food either in the village or in Uzes not too far away.

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this house is, with its warm inviting rooms, its wonderful outside spaces and fabulous heated pool. It is decorated in a comfortable style that makes you feel as if you are at home and not in holiday accommodation. It is extremely clean; the kitchen and bathrooms, spotless, The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of clean sheets and towels. The house is fairly large and my husband I and stayed on our own, but we felt safe and secure. Obviously, with all the space, it is ideal for families, but equally as inviting for groups of friends. Situated in a small village, it is quiet - you can hear the church bells ringing in the local church. We loved to walk around the village and through the fields behind the house. We did think about going on a bike ride but decided just to sit by the pool most afternoons. It is an easy drive to Saint-Émilion (and other local vineyards) - my husband managed to find it without getting us lost! The drive from the airport probably took us about 40 minutes. Isabelle gave us wonderful direction - she speaks perfect English. In a word - wonderful!

It is true what the other reviews have mentioned - the photos do not do it justice - the accommodation is huge and the living area is simply gorgeous. The location is perfect, completely silent and peaceful, yet not too far from the boulangerie, activities and local towns. Debbie and Rupert were so welcoming, we immediately felt at home. There was no problem too small and Debbie helped us to book local activities and dinners out. It was the break we had needed for so long, thank you so much.
Once again there are no words that can really explain what a wonderful time we have had and how fantastic the Loft and the grounds are. Your hospitality is more than we could have asked for. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay here permanently as it’s difficult to leave the place! Until the next time ( and yes, there will be a next time ), au revoir - not goodbye.

We have had a wonderful two weeks here, enjoying all the area has to offer and the house including the swimming pool, pool and table tennis tables A huge thank you to Sam for cooking us an amazing meal in, one evening, fantastic food and value for money. We loved the house and enjoyed watching the Vultures in the hills, sampling local wines and olives, cafe du centre in Villedieu, Vaison la romaine and Seguret were all great. Thank you.

Our recent family getaway in the South of France, close to Sommières, was made extra special by the delightful Provencal-style house we had the pleasure of calling home. From the moment we arrived, we felt a genuine sense of comfort and relaxation. The exterior of the house, surrounded by beautiful gardens set the tone for a peaceful stay. Inside, the Provencal charm continued with tasteful decor that blended traditional and modern elements seamlessly. The attention to detail in each room created an inviting atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The living areas were spacious yet cozy, providing the perfect setting for family time. The well-equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze, and the comfortable bedrooms offered a good night's sleep after days filled with exploration. One of the highlights was the outdoor spaces. The house's location proved to be convenient for exploring Sommières Uzes, and Nîmes, charming towns with a lot to offer. Returning to the house after our daily adventures felt like returning to a peaceful oasis. In conclusion, our stay in this Provencal-style house near Sommières was a wonderful experience. It provided a perfect balance of comfort, charm, and convenience for our family retreat. If you're looking for a relaxed and welcoming haven in the South of France, this house is a gem that we wholeheartedly recommend.
Lovely Stay! We have just returned from our holiday and I just wanted to thank you for the use of your gorgeous house. On your villa page, I could see from the photos that your property was lovely but the house and pool exceeded my expectations. Anne Marie and Hubert are such a charming couple and took great care of us during our stay. We were very sad to leave.
