We have had a fantastic stay in Rieux-Minervois thanks to your kind and generous hospitality! The Loft is beautiful and filled with everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kitchen felt modern and easy to cook in; the beds were extremely comfortable and the pool and garden were splendidly kept. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful property. It was so comfortable and relaxing, with enough space for peace whenever we needed it.

What a wonderful place to stay, house, pool, night skies and boulangerie 5 minutes away. The extended family had such a good time here. In temperatures of nearly 40°C the castle was still cool but so sad to see the effects of the drought / climate emergency everywhere. Birds needed water every day! Deer by the pool, slow worms and much more.
As a group of 7 from age 2 to 62 and having had similar holidays in recent years this has been the best. Wonderfully well equipped with thoughtful advice everywhere. Everybody loved the pool and there are plenty to things to see and do in the area, thanks again.

Dear friends from Paris hosted us as their guests at your château. They could not have given us a more memorable, magical, truly incredible experience!
Cottage du Jardin is beautifully kept and has a gorgeous interior, but what really impressed us was it's tranquil location within the owners grounds and the peaceful location of the swimming pool where one can laze of a sunny afternoon or two. The cottage is approximately a 5-10 minute walk into the local village where there is a little shop selling everything to cater for your needs and a hotel restaurant that serve lovely meals at a very reasonable price. This must be tried at least once during your visit. If you fancy a larger shop there are two large supermarkets within a 10 minute drive on the road to Montignac. Montignac is a beautiful town with lovely riverside restaurants. The cottage is ideally located to visit the local sights, whether it be a château such as the local Château de Losse or Château Les Milandes with its beautiful gardens, or pretty towns and villages, our particular favourites being Saint Leon, La Roque Gageac and Domme. Beautiful blue skies every day with temperatures hitting 36 degrees one day. This gave us a perfect excuse to spend some days lounging around by the pool and recharging in the stunning surroundings. So to sum up, with a combination of the cottage, the weather and the perfect hosts we had an amazing week and left feeling pretty sad. However, we know that we will be visiting again, for longer next time as there was still quite a lot we didn't get to see in this beautiful part of France. It was honestly one of the best holidays we have ever had. Thank you so much, until the next time.
We had a wonderful week in La Tourouzelle. The large pool and adjoining deck was a gift in the strong sun. The house has everything you would want, with each bed and couch as comfortable as the next! The view from the terrace, taking in the vines, the woods and even the Pyrénées is breathtaking!
As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.
Really brilliant week at Mas Saint-Cernin. We have loved the houses, garden, pool, views, sun-rises and sunsets, birds, red squirrels etc etc. The local towns are so pretty and the fantastic markets provided most of our food. Lots of coffee stops. Found it easy to do boulangerie trip. Intermarche just outside Castillonnes was an easy supermarket shop (done on Tuesday after visiting the great market where we got large boxes of peaches, apricots and haricot vert for 5 Euros. Great wine tasting at Les Verdots - wish we had gone there earlier for our wine. La Brucellerie great for a meal. Bikes hired from Bergerac cycle hire, google Apolo cycles. Best to book in advance but really helpful man there. Huge thanks to John and Lesley for providing such wonderful accommodation (they have thought of everything) and for being so warm and helpful all week. We have appreciated your many kindnesses. Hope to return soon.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your house. We did have a great time here with our kids. The weather was splendid. We did enjoy the pool, the garden and the whole mansion. We managed to do some sightseeing. We will remember the stay for a long time and we hope to come back here in the future. Thank you one more time for everything.
Château des Dragons is located in such a magical part of France....so beautiful. The chateau sets in an enchanted forest...just driving through the gates and up to the chateau takes your breath away. Our hosts Christian and Alla greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm. The chateau is perfect for large gathering and our hosts were so accommodating and eager to help with all of our questions and needs. They helped us secure an incredible private chef from Paris, as well as helped us find an incredible restaurant called Les Archives in Poitiers for our friends and offered great advice for things to do around the area. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. When we had the chef come to the chateau for our private dinners..they set an incredible table using their own collection of gorgeous china, added fresh flowers ..it really made the experience elevated. The rooms were comfortable and the common spaces very inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were so pleased. I would highly recommend Château des Dragons to any one and we hope to return for another stay some day soon.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Such an honor to spend time in such a special part of the world, a little piece of heaven surrounded by vineyards, sunflowers and lavender. You beat me to it! I’d been meaning to email to say what an excellent time we’ve been having and to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful home. It’s such a gorgeous spot, the weather has been perfect and we love the fact that the house feels like a much loved family home so thank you for sharing it with us. It is so well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely ambience - we are greatly enjoying relaxing and eating meals in all the different beautiful spots in the garden. No practical problems and everything seems in order. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
Beautiful Home with Large Gardens and Heated Pool. A very special place. The house is spacious and the layout gives plenty of areas to relax. The garden and pool is beautiful. With woodland views, there are lots of seating areas and loungers, a hammock and games to play in the huge grassy area. And the pool is perfect. Sam is a super host, happy to help and is kind and fun. If you love yoga, then there is the chance to have a session with Sam in her beautiful yoga studio. We had the best time. Thank you!
What a delight! The two bedroom cottage was very spacious and comfortable - actually seemed bigger than the photos depict. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and supportive and had a genuine interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, from recommendations and help with reservations at wonderful local restaurants, to suggestions for local sites to visit, to making sure we were comfortable when we experienced some inclement weather. We would love to return and highly recommend this unique property to anyone planning to spend time touring the gorgeous Dordogne area.
We had a lovely two weeks in this beautiful old French farmhouse with its heavenly views and surrounded in wonderful countryside. We have spent most of our time in the garden, playing bolles, swimming, water ball, table tennis and using the pool table, enjoying leisurely meals on the terrace with great views. Trips out to Vaison la Romain, daily trips to the boulangie, wonderful walks, some brilliant bike rides for children and adults alike. We have seen some wonderful wildlife around the area, geckos, cicadas etc. We are sad to leave but hope to return one day.

Beautiful château with magnificently decorated rooms and recently refurbished swimming pool. The owner gave us an unforgettable holiday.
Our family gathering of 6 adults and a toddler was thoroughly enjoyed at this lovely villa. It is very large and spacious with huge bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. It was very generously kitted out, especially the kitchen which had more than enough for our large party. The grounds were very child friendly with safely gates and mainly level surfaces. It was ideally suited to access the lovely town of Pézenas which has an abundance of individual shops and places to eat. We would highly recommend it for a large group and wouldn't hesitate to return
We've had a lovely week here at the villa. It's been especially good for our youngest family member who has really enjoyed playing here. We loved the heated pool, especially when the clouds come over the fun can continue. Absolutely recommend a trip to see Carcassonne for those wanting a day trip, but remember to check what is open. Although I have not been asked to provide any feedback I would like to send some comments for future visitors: This house is superb, it is comfortable, clean, beautifully furnished, extremely well appointed and very spacious; Sandie has ensured that visitors want for nothing - from plates to books - and everything in between. It is also quiet, secluded and safe. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, the bedding luxurious and beautifully laundered. The terrace has the most fantastic views of the Pyrenees and several places to sit for eating / drinking / chatting etc. There is enough space for 12 people to holiday for a week and not feel on top of one another. Whilst there is loads to do in the area it is also impossible to summon up the motivation to leave as there are plenty of activities on offer at the house and of course a great pool. I cannot find anything negative to say about Domaine de Nérige at all, we had the most fabulous relaxing week here with a group of friends and we will return.
We have just finished a two-week family trip. The house was simply great! Excellent facilities and the air conditioning in the rooms is a real life saver. The property is eccentric! And there are so many small terraces and places outside where we found that we never sat. The location is great for day trips and we enjoyed swimming in the pool after a busy day. We were a group of several generations and everyone loved it! The neighbourhood is great and within walking distance. Local bakery, local fruit and vegetable stand as well as access to supermarkets. Thank you for your unforgettable stay!
