As you know we have stayed in your house twice. It really is an exceptional property and in terms of facilities, location and aesthetic qualities we could not fault it. The views are fantastic, the pool is perfect and the house itself brimming with character – not to mention that every lamp works, as do the showers and all utensils.

It's true, the villa and the pool are much more beautiful 'live' than on the pictures. We felt very comfortable in your great villa and it was a great pleasure to meet you. Fabulous house and grounds – loved it. Very high standard, cleanliness, and equipment. Ideal for 3 generations – children loved the playroom. Two catered meals – excellent and much appreciated. Very friendly and hospitable hosts couldn't do enough for us.
We can honestly say that Villa Baleyssagues is the best property that we have stayed in in France. The photographs on the website do not really do the house justice. It is located in a wonderful elevated position, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The house is equipped to a very high standard with an abundance of crockery and cutlery. There were so many lovely touches, with fresh flower arrangements in several rooms and the best welcome pack we have ever had in our seven years of visiting France. Thanks Frédéric for welcoming us to the Villa and looking after us during our stay. Can you pass on our thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their lovely home.
Wonderful house in an amazing location. What a fantastic trip, based in a wonderful house in an amazing location. An opportunity to discover and explore parts of the Dordogne which we hadn't seen before. Helped by the in house guides who, fortunately, selected Daglan, for dinner at La Petit Paris. What a charming village! We leave refreshed by a relaxing stay in the wonderful weather and lovely company.
Every day has felt magical. Thank you so much for allowing your home to be our base during an incredible 3 week holiday The children clearly loved the pool but also fully embraced the opportunity to explore this incredible region. From watching the balloons rise, to the crops being harvested, to the rolling hills change colours in the heat – Every day has felt magical. Your personal hospitality and the warmth and love embedded within these walls – set the tone for our stay. We will certainly leave feeling rested and inspired by an amazing trip. Everyone has already asked to come back so we look forward to returning to Belvidere someday soon!

If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay in Provence, we highly recommend this estate (La Bastide 1718) for 8 days to accommodate 35 people for our wedding. We had planned activities throughout the week: hiking, yoga, visiting the butterfly garden without forgetting a visit to a cellar. Our group loved it! We organized the welcome reception, the wedding ceremony, the wedding lunch, dinner and the post brunch at various locations in the Bastide. It was so magical that we thought we were in a dream. The property still has a few things to improve for event planning and long stays but Thomas was welcoming and once there everything was perfect. The wine is also delicious. We love their 10 Euro rosé and drank cases of it during our stay. Their white wines are also very, very good. Their wine is delicious and hard to find in the United States! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. It will clear your mind as you are surrounded by nature, wildlife and vineyards that stretch endlessly. We enjoyed hiking right next to the property every morning. For a city break, you are 45 minutes from the coast, 40 minutes from old Hyères, which is our favorite Provençal town and 10 minutes from a Michelin star restaurant in La Celle. We highly recommend. Their olive oil is also delicious!
Lovely private pool and terrace with comfortable accommodation in a picturesque village. Hosts were discrete but friendly and very helpful. The restaurant a short stroll away is definitely worth a visit. Nice walks on the doorstep.
The rental of La Bastide 1718 within the domain surrounded by hills is exceptional and provides a rare quietness. The layout of the residence allows for very pleasant and relaxed family gatherings for about 15 people; the layout of the bathrooms is perfect. The swimming pool and pool house is of ample size; this facility is completed by a gym and a sauna. The design of the kitchen makes it easy to provide daily meals for about 15 people (2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators). The laundry room allows for efficient laundry management. Two barbecues and the pool house kitchen make it easy to arrange meals with guests. The house management runs smoothly thanks to the maid service and the discreet but efficient watch of the site manager and his staff (the swimming pool is maintained during the night for example). In conclusion, an exceptional rental which justifies its price.

Almost a month of rest at Château Seyches, enjoying the serenity and silence of the countryside. We love old stones, which tell a piece of French history and Château Seyches did not disappoint us. The villa is located alone in the middle of the vineyards. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity. Nothing is missing here. For us it was a super wonderful stay.

The pool was a true highlight—perfect for cooling off on warm afternoons while enjoying the peaceful and spectacular views of the countryside. The outdoor spaces are lovely and provide plenty of room to relax, dine, and take in the stunning surroundings. One of the best features of the house is its location. It is just a short drive from the charming village of Tourtour, making it easy to enjoy local restaurants, cafés, markets, and breathtaking views while still having the privacy and tranquility of a countryside retreat. The combination of comfort, beauty, and convenience made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Provence experience.
Absolute Heaven. My family, fourteen of us from 70 to 1 year, had a memorable and joyful two weeks at Manoir Alvère. The house and grounds are magical. An easy walk takes you into the village and there are many very good places to eat within an easy drive. The owner made the process of checking in and out easy; the caretaker Georges was onsite in case of any problems. I envy anyone who finds themself in this very special place!

We have had a fabulous time at Villa Baleyssagues. The house itself is beautiful, just as advertised but in reality far much better and exceeded our expectations. We have spend mots days by the pool and in the pool, having experienced great weather, taking full advantage of the equipment and facilities available to us at the Villa. The surroundings and grounds are stunning providing us a relaxing and peaceful . We are very sad to be leaving after a very memorable and enjoyable holiday. We will definitely looking to book an other holiday here as soon as we can.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Our stay at Maison Sebastián in October 2025 was exceptional Our stay at Maison Sebastián in October 2025 was exceptional, with glorious late-summer weather setting the tone. Before arrival, Kate, the owner, sent a friendly and informative email introducing herself and providing detailed guidance about the property. Her suggestion to contact François, the property’s caretaker, was invaluable. He met us in the village and guided us to the secluded house—a short, scenic drive that revealed its tranquil and picturesque location. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the sweeping valley views and endless forests below. The grounds and the house are meticulously maintained. François warmly welcomed us and gave a thorough tour, starting with the charming, shaded entrance. Inside, the open-plan kitchen and dining area—with its cozy fireplace—immediately made us feel at home. The kitchen was well equipped, and a thoughtful welcome hamper of local produce awaited us. Inspired by the beautiful setting, I used a Rick Stein cookbook I found there to prepare a Provençal-style roast chicken—a meal my husband now insists becomes a regular at home. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace overlooking the landscape, a perfect start to the day. Evenings were spent by the fire in the kitchen’s sitting area, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and the abundance of prepared firewood. The super king-sized bed ensured a restful night, and the shower offered flawless water pressure and temperature—attention to detail that made a difference. The pool, set against the panoramic backdrop, deserves a full 10/10. Every aspect of the property reflects quality, care, and comfort. For stargazing enthusiasts, the clear night skies and absence of light pollution make this retreat truly magical. We left deeply impressed and in love with this property—its peaceful seclusion, impeccable maintenance, and romantic charm make it a perfect stay.
We had a wonderful holiday, thank you! It is such a beautiful part of France. We realised we had stayed in a house just the other side of Lauzerte about 7 years ago in the days before children and we could drive around in a soft top! The house has been so nicely done and the arrangement worked really well for us as a family. The view was out of this world! And we loved having the auberge round the corner. We may well be back!
A rental that keeps its promises: the place is charming, the house pleasant and clean, the equipment very complete, the swimming pool with a magnificent view of the Dordogne. We received a very warm welcome and particularly appreciated the welcome basket. The geographical location is ideal for visiting from Sarlat to Bergerac and exploring the Dordogne valley with its magnificent castles, bastides and vineyards. We really liked your house (nothing disappointed us) and we will keep fond memories of this stay. The setting, the decor and the equipment make it a particularly appreciable place to stay.

The apartment is perfectly located: by the sea. There is a private beach and a public beach. The beaches are quite isolated and there are very few people. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary, even more than enough, as if it were not a rental house, but yours. If this is important, then all infrastructures (shops, bakery) are located in the neighbouring municipality of Beaulieu.
We have had a lovely holiday in this beautiful house and surrounding countryside. The house has everything anyone could need. Swimming in the pool was great, Many thanks for all your hospitality Alan and Madeline.
What a gorgeous week we've had here ! Annie and John have been so welcoming - inviting us for a much-needed glass of wine on our arrival. Not to mention all the helpgul local knowledge and information. We have loved the pool, sunshine and glorious garden. We would recommend the lovely Piglet Barn and Annie and John especially.
