The house is beautiful - amazing views, wonderful pool, very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic time - didn't see as much of the area as planned - as everyone so happy playing in pool!

A lovely fortnight here in Ventenac-en-Minervois. The house and all of its wonderful facilities are exactly as billed and everything is in first class condition. We enjoyed eating at the 'Grillade du Château' - excellent meat cooked on a wood fire whilst being entertained by their chickens! We also explored villages by the Canal du Midi - Homps and Le Somail and went to the medieval village of Lagrasse which was excellent. Thanks to our excellent hosts, Eric and Dominique, they were extremely helpful and responsive to any queries we had. We recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable holiday.
We had a fantastic week at the castle! The weather was wonderful - cool enough to enjoy a fire in the evenings, but the perfect temperature for some outdoor time by the pool (or a glass of wine on the watchtower terrace!) The views are truly amazing. We loved the wine tasting at the on-site winery and had several dinners brought in by local vendors. The Property Manager helped us coordinate the catered dinners, kept us in wine, and had an answer to our every question. The castle is convenient to the airport in Paris, but also centrally located for our day trips to Chablis, Beaune, Dijon, Noyers, and other locations! Looking forward to returning for our third visit as soon as possible! Thanks for another memorable soul-healing vacation.
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.

The house is very well equipped and we found some great restaurants and good supermarket shopping in Fleurance, Lectoure and slightly further afield. A great week!

Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. We stayed in the beautiful Maison des Cordeliers in Sarlat in July 2024. What can we say - perfect property in the perfect location within a stunning town. The pool and outside area is just lovely, amazingly private yet only a five minute walk to the heart of the action. Very peaceful and well equipped. The owner Jackie is super helpful with quick replies to any queries and offering any additional assistance needed with regard to the area and recommendations. The villa itself is very thoughtfully equipped while maintaining an authentic French feeling. All in all we would definitely 100% recommend this villa if you were lucky enough to be visiting the beautiful town of Sarlat.
Best Stay Ever!! This Chateau is the most fabulous place we have ever stayed. We were 16 and everything was absolutely fabulous. There are ten bedrooms, so we had rooms that we didn't even use! We ate dinners and lunches outside (there are two different long tables, so that we were always in the shade, depending on the time of day), we spent every afternoon (and some evenings) in the pools and the kitchen and dinning room are spectacular. The house has absolutely everything you could possibly need, and some surprises like bocce, croquet, cooking tools, kids toys, board games, etc. It's spectacular and it should be impossible not to have a fabulous time. Isabelle, the owner and manager is absolutely lovely and the staff (cooks, sommelier and housekeepers are wonderful).
Now we are back from a fabulous holiday staying in Grand Mauran, I just wanted to say we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, it was so well equipped and had everything we could possible need for a holiday with a baby. Having the pool heated was a real joy. All the instructions were good and our questions were answered very promptly. We definitely will be back.
We've had a wonderful week here in such an amazing, spacious house. We have enjoyed being near to Najac and being able to walk there for lunch and exploring, especially the castle. The views at breakfast with the clouds are quite spectacular. Today we visited the alpaca farm and really enjoyed our tour round the various fields of alpacas. The children particularly enjoyed feeding them. The swimming pool has been a real highlight and wonderful weather an added bonus. Many thanks to Henrietta for her welcome and amazing suggestions and all the help.

The area is lovely with loads to do, from our point of view it was a perfect holiday, with the decision on whether to relax by the pool or visit one of the Beaux Villages being the biggest decision we had to make for the 3 weeks!
Loved Cottage du Jardin from the first photo we viewed on line. We had the warmest welcome from Caterina and Stephen. The cottage lived up to and beyond expectations. For anyone looking for total peace and tranquility this is the place to find it. On the other hand the area offers a mass of beautiful places to visit, within a short driving distance. You also have the luxury of your own swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful fragrant garden. Caterina and Stephen go out of their way to make you welcome and are a font of knowledge of the area, but manage to do this without being intrusive. The perfect hosts. I hope that this little cottage will continue to enchant those who are lucky enough to find it.

Perfect Visit in Every Way. We have just returned from our time at Chateau Bourgogne, and I am struggling for words to adequately describe our visit. Of course, when you have planned accommodations in a structure begun in the 1100s, you are a little concerned on the modern conveniences on which one is now dependent. Put those fears at rest! The Castle has been carefully and thoughtfully updated and our stay could not have been more pleasant. The rooms, linens and private areas are all very comfortable. The baths have been updated and easily accommodate a large party. We used the kitchen often to deliver every type and level of meal – from a quick nosh – to a five-course delight. The Great Room is my favorite with a fire place large enough to walk in and efficient enough to keep all comfortable. There is a Bluetooth enabled speaker system for that added touch as you relax, and wi-fi to stay in touch with the outside world. We were close to other towns and day trips were easy and fun! My only complaint is that it was too cool to use the lovely pool or sit at the table at the front entry and admire what must be beautiful flowering vines that grace the entry – but we were graced with snow which was magical! We can’t wait to return!

I really want to keep this jewel hidden for myself! That's great. The apartment is what we all want to have. Two bedrooms with double beds. Beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. Private parking. Private place with chairs on the sea side. Beach club very close. Relaxing and easy to communicate with the owner Paul. Upon arrival, Ben was there with the keys and a lot of advice on the area. Arranged reservation, etc. Very easy to access and super helpful. So don't go because we want to go more often!
We had a wonderful time in the lovely property in Gonfaron. We ranged in size from 3 for one week to a full house for the other 3 weeks. The porch with the big table and sofa area was fantastic. Big dinners at night and coffee on the sofas in the morning. All my guests loved it. Everyone loved the pool and pool house.
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We have absolutely loved staying here! We have enjoyed the beautiful sunsets, laying by the pool and preparing meals together. Chef Arnaud was wonderful and we highly recommend him. We visited Duras, Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Saint-Émilion, Sainte-Foy, Bordeaux and Cap Ferret. Coming back home here at the of the day always felt like home and we hope to visit again. This is our 10 years anniversary and this home was great vacation for a special trip together. Thank you for sharing your house.
What a wonderful time we all had at Chateau Les Tourelles. The house is so beautiful and well set up. And we all enjoyed meeting you. You are so welcoming and helpful. We will all remember our times sitting out in the garden having drinks and dinner with those wonderful views. And what a beautiful part of France! I can see why your parents wanted to have a place there. I have spent the last two nights in Aberdeen and it is grey and bleak. I miss the beautiful greens of Perigord and the soft, honey- coloured stone of the buildings. However, now I'm on the ferry and we sail soon for the overnight trip to the Shetland Islands. We stayed at Maison Sainte-Croix in June last year and I have to say, we had a fantastic holiday. The spacious house is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. We particularly liked the choice of terraces to enjoy the magnificent views at different times of the day. We had many enjoyable afternoons tasting wine in the various local villages and were glad that we drove rather than flew so that we could take home some of our favourites! We found some very good restaurants in Vaison and the street market is well worth a visit. Many thanks!

Domaine du Château is the most beautiful and well equipped house ever. Better in the flesh than the photographs suggest. We stayed as a group of 11 extended family members and a couple of babies. Largely because of babies and children, we wanted a place with a pool where kids could be when adults were doing other things. Domaine du Château was perfect for this. The owners, have a history of taking groups to rental houses around Europe. They took notes and used them in renovating this property, resulting in attention to detail that makes everything work for a large group. I cannot think of a single thing that was lacking in making the house work for us. There is an exceedingly well equipped cook's kitchen. Every bedroom was beautiful with en suite bathrooms. They have cribs and the ability to turn the bedrooms (or at least some of them) from queen beds to twins. The bedrooms are arranged in pairs with good separation from other pairs of bedrooms. All are well away from public rooms where there might be noise. There are even two pairs of washers and dryers, so no queue for doing laundry. There are multiple outdoor terrace areas and a stunning view from the salon terrace over the pool to the hillside village beyond. The house is about 40 minutes from Beaune in a beautiful rural area. It is a great cycling area. The Voie Verte that runs from Santenay to Nolay might be the most scenic ride in Burgjndy. Once you get on it, you are completely separate from cars and riding on the level through stunning vineyards all the way. The house is also close to the Canal du Centre which is another great biking opportunity along the old towpath. Beware that the house is uphill from both, so the return may be a bit challenging for some riders. We rented bicycles from Bourgogne Randonées in Beaune. They were delivered to the house and were in mint condition. Must not forget Stephen and Lilly, the house managers. They live in a separate area of the property. They are a delightful couple with an enviable history of adventurous living. They were completely unobtrusive, but there to meet any need we might have, including doing the shopping for us one day. On the subject of shopping, do not miss the Sunday morning market in Chagny. There are dozens of vendors with beautiful local produce, cheese and meat, as good as can be found anywhere.
