Thanks for a splendid holiday at Le Presbytere, we had a lovely time.
Where do we start! Arrived at the gite and drove through the private gated entrance to see beautiful grounds and a very inviting swimming pool. Jean and Martyn were waiting to show us around and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. The gite, grounds, outdoor kitchen and pool all immaculate and made for the perfect stay. The washing machine, dishwasher and many fridges are an added bonus. The bedrooms and bathroom a good size, fab open plan kitchen, diner and living room. Lots of extras in the kitchen which is great. Lauzun is a great little village with all the amenities you need, several other pretty villages near by (Issigeac and Eymet are lovely) Large hyper/supermarkets and various shops in Bergerac, 30 minutes away or a decent size Intermarche 10 minutess away. We would highly recommend the gite and will definitely be returning. Thank you Jean and Martyn for your letting us stay in your lovely property and not forgetting the very friendly, fluffy, German Shepherd Tanner. We had the best time, enjoyed sharing our many bottles of vino and our evening with you in Eymet.

We are the first guests ever. We stayed 2 weeks. We were welcomed so kindly and friendly. The hosts you can ask everything. They are very helpful. The house is big but for 12 to 15 people very spacious. We were 3 families. Enough space. Everything is in the house. You don't have to bring anything. Outside the swimming pool is great. The 6 children were very happy. Great garden with tomatoes and figues. Thank you very much! It was excellent / super.
We’ve had an amazing two weeks at this gorgeous property. On arrival we have been overwhelmed by the beauty of the house. It has been lovingly designed to a very high standard and certainly has the “wow” factor on arrival. Frédéric and the staff were very helpful and made our stay very special. We very much enjoyed our stay with Anna and Michael. The house is conveniently situated in a small hamlet, close to the beautiful town of Monflanquin. Our kids loved the pool and the variety of toys to play with. We absolutely recommend this accommodation.
Everything was perfect, a wonderful, very charming location, lovely people, the village and the surroundings are also beautiful, Even more beautiful than in the photos! We will definitely go back again! Absolutely recommend.
Des vacances attendues... pour ce coin secret... Un séjour très reposant. Une superbe région. Des visites à nous couper le souffle. Le gouffre de Padirac excellent... Grotte de Lascaux, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Le Rocher des Aigles. Le Labyrinthe du Bugue. Tout était parfait. Une maison pleine de charme qui nous a inspiré pour notre futur bien immobilier. Frédéric et Marilou sont des hôtes formidables toujours de bon conseil du coup nous reviendrons l'année prochaine. Un grand merci.
Remarkable location and situation. Nothing short of the 'wow' factor inside and out. We spent most of the time at the house or in the Médiéval village- too beautiful to venture far! The house and grounds are stunning, great architectural design. Extremeley well equipped. Lots of space for just the 2 of us but planning on coming back again and share with friends. Thanks, fab!
I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful house and gardens last week. Aideen and I had a fantastic holiday, due in no small part to the accommodation.
Mas de Lozanne is fabulous. Great garden, wonderful pool and lovely walking and cycling through the vineyards. We would love to come here again.
We had a wonderful trip! The pictures cannot fully represent the beauty of the house, the pool and the hilltop setting with views over the river and the whole valley. The layout of the house worked very well for us, as each of our families had their own wing with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. We were grateful for the help with arranging chefs and babysitters (who were fantastic) and the hosts were proactive in making sure we had a great stay. The location is great too, as you are near a couple of cute towns with good bakeries and restaurants, close to Sarlat, Domme and La Roque-Gageac and centrally located for prehistoric caves, river trips, wineries, etc. We can't recommend this house enough!
Eight days at Malardier after the brash noise of the Hamptons in August was underlined as I walked past the dried sunflowers. What was that sound? Only a breeze moving stealthily through the stalks hushing its way to the end of the meadow. An hours walk completed, a years stress melted away.
What a wonderful Loft! We love all the furniture; so lovely to have 'proper furnishings' and not sofas with throws! We loved all the 'Maisons du Monde' additions and the kitchen is great to cook in. Wonderful attention to detail, so that you really feel 'at home'. The terrace is fabulous; we loved sitting out there first thing in the morning. Thanks also for all the recommendations for the specialist wine tours - our wine trip was first rate. Your hospitality and company was excellent and we loved the trip to see 'Le Jardin Champetre' nursery - thank you. Also, the pool is so clear and wonderful to swim in.
Undoubtedly the most beautiful place we have stayed in. Your attention to detail is superb. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts - our stay has been amazing.
Excellent property, well looked after, games room, large bedrooms, great location just for us no aircon (we were there in a heatwave), pool is on the small side but easily a good compromise for the property.
We highly recommend this place! We stayed with a family of 8 people and had a wonderful stay. The swimming pool is great, there is a ping pong table and a big and beautiful garden. There are a lot of different terraces to sit/hangout/have lunch and dinner. The kitchen is well equipped, there's a large stove and a BBQ for outside cooking. It's quiet and there's a lot of privacy. Sam and her husband are very friendly, communicative and helpful. We rented the electric bikes for two days and enjoyed the beautiful and rustique surroundings. There's a tennis court nearby that is very easy to arrange access to. Actually, we can't think of anything against the place, its really great!
A perfect stay for a family Christmas. Plenty of room for 10 people. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom. A very family-friendly living room, a superb and functional kitchen. We had a wonderful holiday at Domaine de Nérige and thought it was absolutely superb - extremely comfortable, spacious and with lots of toys! We couldn't recommend it highly enough and it was a bonus to meet the owners and hear how they had transformed a derelict wreck into such a wonderful home.
Fabulous house on the edge of the village with magical views and absolute peace and privacy. We were thrilled to see so much wildlife, so many wonderful birds, butterflies, red squirrel and deer around the house. We flew into Limoges which is a tiny and very easy airport to manage. Car hire is just outside the exit, the roads are blissfully empty and the drive to Lusignac was a pleasure. We couldn't have had a better week.
Glorious sunshine for us all week. We've had a lovely time exploring. The children pretended to be Rapunzel at Maison Baleyssagues and had a wonderful day the Lac de Lougratte. I jogged in and out of the grape wines, which was surprisingly exhausting. We all had too many croissants? Thank you for a terrific week in gorgeous setting.
We have recently returned from our wonderful trip to Dordogne which we thoroughly enjoyed. Sia and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Maison Montratier was a beautiful place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of the world. We would highly recommend this home and area to our family and friends.
Loved Cottage du Jardin from the first photo we viewed on line. We had the warmest welcome from Caterina and Stephen. The cottage lived up to and beyond expectations. For anyone looking for total peace and tranquility this is the place to find it. On the other hand the area offers a mass of beautiful places to visit, within a short driving distance. You also have the luxury of your own swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful fragrant garden. Caterina and Stephen go out of their way to make you welcome and are a font of knowledge of the area, but manage to do this without being intrusive. The perfect hosts. I hope that this little cottage will continue to enchant those who are lucky enough to find it.
We have had a brilliant stay - The villa is fantastic- kids have spent house in the pool and learning to play pool. Everyone has enjoyed it so much it feels a real wrench to leave. Hope we can visit again some time.
An extra stay with friends (a dozen with adults, teenagers and children) in a magical place... a natural site of great beauty, as magnificent day or night under the stars; a superbly renovated Mas, where the character of the old stones combines with great comfort (equipment, bedding, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.), space for everyone, huge rooms and more than careful decoration. original, each object, each piece of furniture is chosen with great spirit and arouses curiosity. Everyone found their privacy and activity of the day there (picnic by the river, shopping in very picturesque Anduze, reading by the swimming pool, Cévennes walk... and even revision of the Baccalaureate in a calm environment!). Very appreciable preparation of the place by the owners and attention to our arrival. See you next year for sure... We would like to sleep in all the rooms!
