Beautiful accommodation with so much attention to detail! We were all very amazed by the cleanliness and its amenities. We have never been to such a beautiful place before. We were a group of 6 people. On the terrace you have a beautiful view and there is a waterfall nearby. Sophie is a very lovely and helpful person. We were already very convinced of the pictures of the villa, in reality it was even more beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped, there was no lack of a device or spice. Very very hygienic everything! I would be happy to come back.
Everything exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful to meet you both. You have done a wonderful job redeveloping the Loft and there is everything one could possibly wish for. We cannot wait to return. Good luck with the next project and a giant thank you!
We have had a most amazing week. The weather has been perfect and this beautiful house has been a haven of peace and tranquility for adults and children alike. Needless to say we don't want to go home!
Thank you for a fabulous holiday! You have a beautiful, well-appointed villa with all mod cons and loads of fun distractions to occupy the younger members of the family - pétanque, pool, table tennis, croquet, swimming and baby foot. The weather was unremittingly hot but your beautifully air-conditioned house provided welcome respite. We would strongly recommend this to our friends.

We booked for 3 weeks this past summer at the Maison Emz. It was a fantastic experience. Jacky and Anna are absolutely wonderful.
We are three couples in our 60's from Colorado in the U.S. who enjoy travel, especially in Europe. Over the past three years we have traveled to Italy, Portugal, Spain and France. We would define ourselves as independent travelers enjoying the process of researching destinations, places to stay, renting cars and getting out to see a bigger world. That of course means getting lost from time to time, finding restaurants that are fabulous and some that are so-so and booking houses or B&Bs. My top five reasons for loving Maison Charvin include: 5. If after traveling to many parts of the world you find that smaller can be better as I have, Maison Charvin (MC) is a great fit. Located in the village of Montlaur where there is a small grocery store and a couple other small shops, people are friendly and you feel safe. It isn't too far from a number of good destinations. 4. Four bedrooms, all ensuite. Since we are no longer in our 20's we prefer some comforts and conveniences! Beds were comfortable and each couple had their own quiet space. We prefer renting one extra bedroom so, as happened on this trip, if one person gets sick or has jet lag and waking up at 4:00 am there is an extra room. 3. Fully stocked kitchen. I would start looking for some odd item like a garlic press and think I doubt there is one and lo and behold there always was what we needed! I've never stayed at a place that had a kitchen as well equipped. 2. Value - incredible value for a week's stay. We stayed during the lower season rate, but looking at the rates, it would be good value at anytime of the year. 1. The owner, Sharon. From the very start of communications she was helpful and timely in her email responses to my inquiries. And always with a great sense of humor. Earlier I mentioned we had some illness. Sharon took my wife and I to her doctor, waited with us, translated for us and went to the pharmacy to be sure we received the correct medications. It was easy to see that she wants her clients to have the best experience possible. If South Western France small towns are in your future, be sure to check out Maison Charvin!

An absolutely perfect location for our family holiday and we enjoyed some great day trips and some fab local food and wines (as well as a couple of lazy days by the pool!) We had just the nicest time and all of the info and instructions were so helpful. We couldn’t have really asked for anything more.

The weather has been great so spent most of our time in the pool and on the sun loungers. We loved visiting the towns and villages nearby and particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries every morning! There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family. The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. I can only recommend choosing this place for its charm and the quality of its host Christophe’ Thanks again, Hope to see you soon.
What a house! What a setting! FANTASTIC!! We’ve loved the house, the pool, the welcome. We stayed for 2 weeks with an average temp of 33°C – highlight: having a drink in the pool with the kids. But a few other things were great too: Cycling. A visit to the Château de Lastours and the medieval Carcassonne area. (Minerve is recommended!) A visit to Saint-Chinian. Visited Cuxac and bought some beautiful souvenirs for friends. Thanks for a fantastic week! We will come back. P.S. With small children going for pizza at Minerve – La Pizzaterie was very easy-going.
Thank you so much for restoring this beautiful château, having impeccable taste and letting us share your wonderful home. It far exceeded our expectations! We came here for my 60th birthday and danced (in the hall!) till the small hours, played games in the pool, badminton at night, ate, drank and enjoyed the amazing homely atmosphere of this elegant place. It could not have been better!
We spent a wonderful week in the accommodation. We were able to take full advantage of the swimming pool and the outdoor space. The amenities matched the photos and everything was top quality. I recommend the villa to everyone Beach, town and tourist sites are all within a 10 minute radius. We would particularly like to thank Marie Christin for her welcome.
Well kept gardens and lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone. Extras like the UK adapters were a nice touch. Pool made the children holiday. It was also very clean and perfect size and depth. Great hosts, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We have had a wonderfully relaxing week in this beautiful house. The views are amazing and we enjoyed some wonderful drives out to various villages in the area. Nyons is a great place to have so nearby.
We had a wonderful time at Vero and Thierry. The house is beautiful and very well decorated. The outdoor facilities are excellent and have everything you need. Because the weather was so nice we spent most of our time by the pool and ate all our meals there. There is a supermarket and two bakeries 5 km away and Poitiers is easily accessible for sightseeing and restaurants. We're already talking about going back. I highly recommend staying here.
I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It really is a little corner of paradise in a spectacular part of the world. We have been exploring, we spent the day at Abbaye de Fontfroide; followed by the Narbo Via Museum in Narbonne, finally ending up at the salt flats on the l'île Saint-Martin de Gruissan. We had an excellent stay in this historic residence, the former orangery of the castle built on the 14th century ramparts. In addition to the charm of the house, it is very well organized around different spaces which increase the diversity of experiences. Whether with family or friends, everyone has their own space while offering lots of conviviality. The house is very well equipped, from ping pong to raclette, including a kitchen with lots of appliances. The bedding is comfortable.. Finally, the place is both a haven of peace and its direct proximity to the village and its many summer activities make it a unique place.
Thank you for being such welcoming hosts. We have had a thoroughly relaxing week and have loved staying in Loft du Vigneron. Everything is so stylish and spotless. We loved the swimming pool! A little touch of heaven on earth...
Your house has been such a beautiful place to spend a week of our holiday. We've loved every minute - so much so that we didn't go far from Le Chambarru. The attention to detail was fantastic - from the decor to the 'welcome basket' to our name on the gate. The only thing missing was that we only stayed for 7 nights.
