An amazing week of relaxation. Spent a fantastic week at Château Velouse. Located in a tiny village the château is just a short drive from lots of interesting locations in the Loire valley. Château Velouse has everything you need for a relaxing week - beautiful bedrooms, lovely outdoor pool, barbeque and al fresco dining area and lovely dining room and lounge. We chose to self-catering but there are options to hire in a chef to prepare meals for your group. There was also lots of information in the château guide about other tailored services that were available such as wine tours. Claire and Phil made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and recommended places to visit.
We had a great one week vacation in Maison Lemance. The house is fully equipped and you will find everything you need in the kitchen, games room for the children, great pool and even a ping-pong table. There is a big and beautiful garden that is great for the children to run around, while we were drinking wine on the balcony. The owner left us a list of recommendations for activities and restaurants in the region which was very useful. We highly recommend staying in Maison Lemance.
Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!
We have enjoyed several wonderful visits to this most delightful property set in bucolic rolling countryside. The house is elegant and extremely comfortable, giving maximal privacy inside and out so that guests can enjoy the peace, whether swimming in the lovely pool, or just relaxing in shade or sun. There is also a lovely terrace for al fresco dining and a fabulous collection of books. The creation of the gardens is masterful . We loved the nearby market in Condom and the creamy stone architecture of the area.
This has been a most restful and restoring holiday after the misery of Covid etc. We have to thank Alan and Madeline for great kindness and for literally going the extra mile when we couldn't find our way home. We've enjoyed local restaurants: try Aubord de la Source, St Livrade for a special treat, Les Rives du Plantie. We went north to Cancon market (Monday mornings). There's a village called St. Pastour on the way where a young couple have a very good restaurant (week day lunch and some evenings) called Le Relais Bastide. Thank you again Madeline and Alan. Almost forgot to say don't miss the lilies and lunch at Latour-Marliac. Monet bought his waterlilies here, having seen them at the great Paris Exhibition.
I would like to express our thanks for providing us with a lovely property in a good location for our vacation. After visiting a few local towns Pézenas was our favourite and we were so pleased to be staying so close. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I am sure we will return. Merci!
A beautifully decorated house in a quiet location close to the town. We loved embracing life in Narbonne shopping in the nearby boulangerie and food market. We also recommend hiring one of the small boats on the Canal Robine. We hope to book your home again some day.

We, grandparents, parents and our little daughter, spent two fantastic weeks in this wonderful villa in Fréjus. The villa offers plenty of room for a bigger family. You can find everything you need for a pleasant stay. It's fully furnished. lovely decorated and well appointed with kitchenware and with everything you might need. There is a lushy, well maintained garden with a swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds. We loved our stay there with the beautiful view over Fréjus to the sea. We can recommend this villa to everyone looking for a peaceful, quite summer vacation. The owners are as well extremely friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful week. The house is arranged and decorated with care, where it feels good. And what a view, what tranquility... Thank you very much for your warm welcome, everything is perfect here. And what about the heated pool that allowed children to have fun for hours. Thank you very much for everything.
The house / Loft is absolutely DIVINE - the whole family could actually live here! We've had a fantastic time in the pool swimming. Mack and Mabel are SOOOOO cute. We're going to miss France and especially the house and garden along with the four of you. I hope that other people choose to stay here and that you have a lifetime of happiness because a couple like you deserve a round of applause and a trophy!

We would love to come back again x We have had an amazing week here at Maison La Pérouse. Oscar and Olive have both loved exploring the garden. Oscar has particularly enjoyed playing hide and seek in the wood, doing tricks on the trampoline and spotting fish in the pond. We have just returned from Domaine de Nérige what a fabulous house and the owners made everything perfect during our stay. All our needs were met and more, they just wanted to ensure we were happy and enjoyed our stay, they arranged catering, shopping, where to eat, what to do in the surrounding areas etc. On our last evening she arranged a tapas night for 18 of our friends at Domaine de Nérige as it was my husbands 60th birthday celebrations we had a ball and fabulous memories were made. Domaine de Nérige is a special place to stay everything was stress free from the moment we arrived to the time we sadly had to say goodbye, a huge big thank you to the owners and housekeepers. We so enjoyed our time in France you are all so special too.

It provided everything we needed and more... Compliments to the owners. We all had a fantastic holiday and feel refreshed and ready for the autumn term and work! My husband and I rented this charming house for 2 weeks in August with our 2 young daughters and we are already planning a return trip next year! Firstly, the pool is stunning. It's huge and spotless and we could barely get the girls out of it! The house is big and spacious and the newly decorated bathrooms made me feel like I was staying at Soho House! The house is situated in a lovely little town on the Canal du Midi. There is a huge wine shop next door and several bars and restaurants within walking distance on the quay. We had day trips to the beach at Gruissan and Leucate which were stunning Mediterranean resorts and barely 40 minutes away.
A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
Absolutely stunning, luxury converted distillery in the countryside of Challignac. Extremely high end furnishings and appliances. Beautiful interior design, all air conditioned and with an amazing outdoor heated pool with spacious patio, cushioned loungers, sofas and outside dining together with BBQ, Boules court and children’s play area all surrounded by beautiful gardens, and stunning tranquil countryside. It was beautiful to sit out with a morning coffee, watching deer walk through the field at the front. The beds were the most comfortable we’d ever slept in, the showers were fantastic, everything is top notch. Gary and Mark made our week extra special with fabulous recommendations of places to visit and excellent restaurants all nearby. They responded instantly to any request we had, but were totally respectful of our privacy unless we contacted them. We cannot recommend staying here enough and are booking for next year.
We have had a very enjoyable 2 weeks stay at Le Pigat. There is plenty of room and it is very well equipped with everything you need. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a must for anyone staying here. Very tasty. We spent lazy days by the pool. Lots of fun. Evenings spend dining on the terrace, in the true French way. We would like to thank everyone for their very friendly welcome on our arrival.

A truly lovely place and charming hosts. The kind of secret tingle you get when you stumble on a gem didn’t leave us all week. The photos don’t do it justice and we felt completely at home. Nothing but the sound of birdsong and laughing children and the sight of a deer in the extensive gardens were very special. In a glorious part of France with countless places to stay this is definitely one not to miss.
Wonderful holidays in Nissan-Lez-Enserune. We had wonderful holidays there. Location was very convenient, inside the village where shops / market were at walking distance. Our car remained within the property, so no pb to park. We took it only to visit the nearby cities of Narbonne, Gruissan and Béziers (20/30 min ride). The house was clean, with recent works being done and well equiped (nice kitchen and bathrooms). Pool was large, clean and surrounded by beautiful oleanders. We'll consider coming again for sure. This property has the WOW factor! We were blown away by it when we arrived. It is beautifully renovated and the grounds and surrounding countryside are stunning. The main house is very spacious with a large living room, TV lounge room and a big kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you might need (including 2 great coffee machines and a pantry with essentials that you can use). Also, a lovely large dining table. Upstairs there are 4 big airy bedrooms with very comfy beds, great linen and towels. Plus 3 pristine luxe bathrooms. The views out of every side of the house are idyllic. The outside space too is fantastic. Great terraces for eating / relaxing on, beautiful warm clean swimming pool with comfy loungers, herb garden, fire pit, well equipped gym, pétanque court, vineyard, landscaped gardens. The gîte across from the main house is also lovely and provides 3 extra bedrooms plus additional bathroom, kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed our stay enormously and appreciated the level of detail and care that the owners have put into this house.
Thank you both for such wonderful hospitality. We've had a much needed peaceful and relaxing stay at Colombat. The surroundings are beautiful and it has been fascinating to learn about the history of WW2 in this region.
We swam in the pool every day - temperature 29°c - in January! We did indeed enjoy the 12 days with you, the house and the surroundings. Very invigorating for both of us and very enjoyable to meet you both.
Thank you so much for a relaxing week - it was just what we needed! The Loft is truly exceptional and Oscar has loved playing in the garden. Visits to Narbonne, Carcassonne and the Sigean Animal Reserve were great. The highlight for us was the Gouffe de Cabesprine caves - a must see!
