We had two excellent weeks. In this setting and the house which are beautiful. We benefitted 100% from all the beautiful things of everything here. We love donkeys, cute and kind. Too bad we didn't see squirrels, but we saw herons and different kinds of birds. We made beautiful excursions to Nérac, Clermont-Dessous, the Agen canal bridge and the garden of the water lilies of Latour-Marliac and seen many ponds. We will miss everything, the calm, the beautiful place, the environment and the splendid swimming pool. Everything was perfect. Thank you Karine and Pascal for everything, for your kindness and service, your attention and the delights offered on arrival.

Wonderful Stay! We absolutely loved the location, the peace, tranquillity, smell of lavender as you walked down the narrow lanes and the friendly hellos of the locals. The house was perfect of our needs and the pool was most definitely a beautiful secret garden.
Having booked with you several times and having never been disappointed our expectations were high. The owner was very knowledgeable and the property stocked with every utensil you could imagine, spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. We've had the most fabulous holiday in this beautiful house. The owner made us feel very welcome and even brought down some of her toys for our kids to play with (very kind - thank you). The weather has been great and every day has been spent eating outside and playing around the pool. Visited markets in Castillon-la-Bataille which was very good. Also went for a day out to Saint-Emilion, which was lovely. The owner has done a super job restoring
Wonderful house, with impeccable physical structure and decoration and to top it off, a breathtaking view of Lake Annecy. The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful and gave great tips on activities in the area. Without a doubt, one of the most memorable family vacations!!!

Beautiful house with pool, nice and private yet a short walk into the centre of Sarlat. The house is very well equipped and cosy for those days when the weather didn’t play ball! We had an excellent stay in March in this large, very well appointed and superbly equipped house to accommodate our group of 11 people. Beautiful amenities in the house, quality bedding and a paradise for children. With its large swimming pool, its two terraces and its numerous outdoor games, the area must be even more appreciated in the summer season. We highly recommend this rental, ideal for large families or groups of friends. We were able to discover an enchanting setting in the region. We enjoyed the calm and beauty of the surrounding countryside. Obviously, we couldn't resist the desire to taste the extraordinary local products (wines, gastronomy, etc.). An exceptional place in which we will return for a vacation.
We had a fantastic stay and are so thankful to the owners. The house is beautiful and very rustic (which we loved) but topped by the setting which is rural and stunning… again, we loved. The hosts Helen and James are so kind and interesting and were really helpful when our car had a tire puncture. The pool is one of the nicest we have ever been in with a lovely salty water and always the right temperature. A great stay.
Our stay with friends in Duras in August 23 was exceptional thanks to this large house made for moments of sharing. Indeed the house is very spacious with sufficiently separate spaces for everyone to have different activities. Several differently exposed terraces allow you to enjoy the outdoors at various times of the day. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool as much as we did, the security system of which is very reassuring. The house remains cool despite the heat and its well-equipped kitchen allowed for real convivial moments preparing meals. Finally, the house is ideally located, in the very pleasant village and at the foot of the magnificent castle. An enchanted parenthesis to share with family and friends.

Belle Vue is quite simply a wonderful place for a holiday. The house is stunning, set at the top of a valley, with views of the Dordogne River and medieval châteaux’s in the distance. I understand from the owner that the house was once his family home and this permeates the atmosphere of the place. It is a very relaxing and comfortable place to be. Equipped with everything you would expect in a holiday letting but it goes much further than that. It feels like a home, and a very tastefully furnished one at that. Between the owner, gardener and the housekeeper everything has been thought of and they all go out of their way to make the holiday special. The bedrooms are very comfortable with a luxurious en-suite in the main bedroom. All in all it is just a brilliant place to spend a holiday and in the terms of the Sarlat area we have just been captivated and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Our third time at Belle Vue. We have now been fortunate enough the stay at Belle Vue on three occasions and each time it has proved the ideal base for both friends and family get together. The main attraction is of course the views that are beyond compare and weather permitting we always dined outdoors, enjoying leisurely breakfasts on the terrace, sunny barbeques at lunch around the pool and extended formal dining in the evening watching the hot air balloons drift past and enjoying the local vino by candlelight well in to the evening. Even if the weather turned uncooperative we were still left with elegant dining area to fall back on, and evenings seated in the sociable lounge which has a country house feel complete with traditional board games providing a nostalgic form of entertainment. The bedrooms are well appointed and provide ample space for 8 ‘party’ adults one occasion and family accommodation for the three generations of our family with sumptuous pool keeping the grand-children entertained for hours at a time. A perfect location for lively parties or slow sleepy family gee aways. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
More than I was hoping for. I am writing to thank you for our wonderful holiday at your gorgeous property. Manoir Gascon is a home from home and everything and more than I imagined and was hoping for. The house, the setting, the furniture and art are all stunning. Thank you.

Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.
Thank you so much for a wonderful week in your house. We enjoyed the sparkling wine, the beautiful flowers and the house is just amazing with everything we needed. Highlights for us were nine holes of golf just outside of Saumur, cycling, a wine tour, meals out and relaxing by the pool. We caught roach, dace and three large bream. There was a beautiful kingfisher by the stream. Perfect weather and we have appreciated everything all the more after all the restrictions of the last two years.
