We have been beautifully looked after again! What a fabulous place to be!
I stayed in this stunning house in May this year. It is beautifully presented and very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It has the added benefits of an outdoor swimming pool and a games room. The owner has gone to great lengths to make this a home away from home! It hides behind pretty old stone walls, just a few steps from the centre of the beautiful historic town of Pezenas. I am looking forward to returning in the future!
What a beautiful, well appointed home in a wonderful location. Despite the odd bit of rain we and our guests enjoyed our two week stay immensely. Thank you to the owners who were perfect hosts – helpful, friendly and on hand when needed, without encroaching an inch on our privacy. We could not have asked for more, either of you or of Domaine de Nérige. You have designed the perfect holiday home and we and our guests would have been happy to stay longer, much longer. There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family. The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. I can only recommend choosing this place for its charm and the quality of its host Christophe’ Thanks again, Hope to see you soon.
Thank you Richard and Meryl for your wonderful hospitality. The welcome pack and cake were superb, together with your attentiveness in catering for everything which made our stay so enjoyable. We enjoyed several excursions out to nearby villages and settlements... Moissac, Auvillar and Lauzerte were particular highlights along with a walk along the canal de deux mers. We thoroughly enjoyed Poppy's regular visits! We will miss the wonderful sunsets and views across the local countryside. There is still much to see and we hope to return in the future. We have no hesitation in recommending Le Tournesol to our family and friends.
We had a lovely time in this fantastic location. The villa is perfectly located. Our 3 favourite restaurants: 1, La Belle Etoile - La Roque de Gageac 2, Hôtel Dieu 3, La Romane Thank you Jackie and Geoff. A lovely home with character and a real French charm.
The house was very large for our couple but we'e enjoyed the space in the house and around the house. The pool is just perfect with its 16m you can really do a bit of exercise after having had too much food and wines. It was a very relaxing holiday and a nice region to discover.
I just want to thank you for a wonderful stay in Château de la Ronde. We had a truely amazing time.
A great place to stay, ideally located for Vouvant, which is a lovely town and a genuine short walk for something good to eat and drink. Fontenay-le-Comte is an interesting large market town. Fervent is worth exploring with pretty forests, lakes and rivers. The owners pool is a good size and adjoins their property. The hosts were very welcoming.
Lovely property and surrounding grounds. We enjoyed the pool enormously with everything you provide and also the countryside here.
We had a really nice holiday at Château Entre-Deux-Mers... it's an amazing place and everything was just fine.
What can we say about La Maison Tournesol that has not already been said - we knew from the moment we arrived we were going to have a wonderful two weeks in this charming home in the French countryside. Meryl and Richard are such thoughtful and great hosts who think of everything to make this a real home from home. We have really enjoyed exploring the local area visiting local towns and villages with Moissac and Auvillar being places we will remember. The local market at Montcuq and night market at Lauzerte are both recommended and well worth a visit too. We are both sad to be leaving and hope to be able to return again soon.
Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had! The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them. We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.
Thanks Kate and Franz for creating such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Enjoying tea and coffee on our last morning we were joined by 2 deer - a lovely last moment. We are going to miss the house, the swimming pool and the beautiful meadow. Our highlights are Montcuq market, spending time in Lauzerte and Montpazier, two very pretty places. We have had some great food, especially at Le Caillau. It has been a special summer for our children, who have both had to endure exams and so it is fantastic that we as a family have been able to spend time together in this wonderful place. So pleased to have met you both and of course the little Lotte. Love from us all.
We just wanted to thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful home in France. We had such a wonderful time – the house was absolutely lovely, and it made for a truly relaxing and memorable getaway.

We spent two superb weeks in your beautiful home. it is quiet and clean and it has all the necessary equipment. The large garden is lovely with plenty of shade. We loved also the table tennis. But we liked the pool most of all, in the hot weather.
We have spent many happy holidays in France, but as this year is our 40th wedding anniversary we thought we should look for somewhere really special - and we found it! The house is a delight and the garden is the most beautiful place to rest and relax. The countryside around is very peaceful and charming and we greatly enjoyed the nearby towns and villages. The abbey at Fontevraud was a special highlight and the châteaux at Saumur, Chinon and Angers, which we last visited more than 30 years ago, were all well worth visiting again - so much restoration work has been done in the intervening years. We also liked the Corniche Angevine which runs along the South bank of the Loire between Rochefort and Challones and the many wine growing areas. Thanks so much for the restaurant recommendations - will look into doing that. We are having a fantastic time here. I think your house is possibly the best house we've stayed in in France over the years. Yes, it's just fabulous! We've had a really fantastic week here and I'm pretty sure we'll be wanting to come back next year. Your house has been so generous... I've read some books here, loved looking through the coffee table books too. Your welcome basket was the most generous we've ever received in any of the houses we have rented. Allowing us to use pool towels as well. And I know it sounds a bit like a hotel review but the bed linen / towels and bathrooms were just top quality! Taking a break from it now to start packing up! P.S. We went to Le Moulin for lunch and it was superb. We will be in touch to hopefully book same week again next year.
We had a super holiday at the villa. The villa was everything we expected and our contact was polite and helpful. Every thing was perfect.

Just a quick note to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Farmhouse.
Large family holiday, ages varying from 2-60. Beautiful house, great outdoor area with outside pergola and table plenty big enough to sit all 13 of us which was great. As in description location is very rural so definitely need cars - supermarket is 10 mins drive away. Estelle was very helpful leading up to our holiday, and during our stay. Answering all our questions and popped by to make sure we were happy with everything. Local area very pretty, but we stayed in August and everywhere was deserted! Apparently lots of places in France shut down in August. Very well equipped house for great holiday.
