Villa Barthélemy is a very nice property. Location, very quiet and private. Great pool and very nice view of Mougins and in the distance the sea. Very nice rooms were renovated, the whole house is very nice. Shopping for the food I recommend Grand Frais, everything very fresh, meat fish cheese ; and to the best bakery 5 minutes on foot. I can highly recommend Les Cypres...

We had great week staying at this lovely house! It is in quiet, rural location and we enjoyed exploring the area, which is very pretty. Sam was a great host and showed us everything and then left us to it – but was very helpful responsive with any questions we had. There were 7 of us and the house accommodated us all very easily. It is very well equipped and everything is in good condition and works well - lots of plates, glasses, large fridge freezer with ice maker, wine and beer fridges etc! The beds were comfortable and the house has two good bathrooms/shower rooms including a spa bath! There is a great choice of terraces and outside areas (covered and open) for sitting and dining, with lots of chairs, tables and sun loungers – which far exceeded expectations. The pool, surrounding terrace and gardens are really lovely and it is very quiet and private. The table tennis table was a bonus and we had a fun afternoon kayaking on the Dordogne, too! We would have loved a few more days there!
We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house in this stunning location. The sunflowers fields are just gorgeous and we will forever have fond memories of Gascony and the sunflowers. Perfect place for vacation in Provence. We (two families – couple with a child in each) spent 9 nights in this place and used it as a base to visit the area. Only 45 minutes from the Marseille airport. The property is located in the small village just next to forest and if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. This is large charming house with big pool, green garden, private parking area, very well equipped kitchen (by all that you only can imagine). It is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. When we came back from our days out we rested up around the large dinner table outside until late and it was a real pleasure. We cooked breakfasts and lunches every day, big village supermarket with a lot of various delicious foods made our self catering easy and pleasant. Free Wi-Fi, TV and very reach films library were also a good surprise. The owners were very friendly and helpful; they supplied us with comprehensive information about all local attractions. This house met all our expectations and we can definitely recommend it for friends and families planning their vacation in Provence.

Wow! You have a piece of perfection right here! I've been so relaxed during 2 weeks here. The pool has been my solace along with the hot sunshine. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a lovely place with lots of lovely shops and fantastic markets. Thank you for letting us stay. I hope to return.
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.
What an excellent villa in a wonderful setting. Everything we needed was here and the swimming pool was just right. As previous comments by others, Cédric is a great host. We thoroughly recommend a visit to this area and this villa. Bize-Minervois and Lagrasse were our two favourite places to visit. If you want to treat yourself to a great restaurant in a great setting, Relais Chantonvent in Minerve - book early.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. Wonderful time in a wonderful house. So peaceful here. The house had everything we could possibly want and more besides (including a visiting woodpecker). Laparade night market was a highlight. The restaurant there is pretty fabulous too. We spent loong days by the pool and long evenings on the terrace. Frédérique and Hélène at the shop provided all we needed including homemade lasagne. And Olivia couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you, Mark and Janet.

We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. Excellent, at all levels. We were 11 adults and 3 children and we had a wonderful stay. The location is ideal, isolated and quiet. The house is very well equipped (we particularly appreciated the presence of pool towels). The outdoor space and the equipment allowed us to fully enjoy real moments of relaxation. Sam is a very responsive host, ready to answer any questions. In summary, we highly recommend and thank Sam for his impeccable welcome!

A wonderful relaxing part of our trips spent in Montsoreau, living the dream! While really enjoying the local cafe/restaurants we made great and regular contact with the local boulangerie, boucher and wine producer who are all starts of their trade. Living local in Montsoreau for 2 weeks was great fun and delicious and... the accommodation provided us with the quiet and rest we needed. Spacious and with a place to read and watch the river on the terrace. Thank you.

We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.

Our party of 10 (6 adults, 4 children) had a great week at this property, There was plenty of space for everyone and the property looked exactly as pictured. The house stayed cooler than expected during the 40 degree temperatures (due to the very thick stone walls and roof, no doubt) and the pool was wonderful. Our contact Florence met us on arrival to show us everything and was available to answer questions during the week. We enjoyed the Sainte-Geniès market and explored Sarlat-la-Canéda.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week. The accommodation was first class, very well appointed, bright and spacious with comfortable beds. The pool was attractive and inviting. There were plenty of areas around it to sit, lounge and relax, surrounded by beautiful blossom. There was plenty to do in the area from perched villages to golden beaches. The owners were friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive. We would certainly recommend a stay.
