What a lovely holiday we have had. Two great hosts and we have made two lovely friends! We will be back for sure!
Just back from a week's stay at Villa La Baronne. I understand this is a newly renovated property and it is very clear that no expense has been spared on the project. It is a large property that could suit more than one family or a group of friends and can sleep up to 14 people. Every detail has been lovingly considered and stylishly executed. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings and comfortable beds. The house has been designed to offer endless activities both inside and out. We were lucky with the weather for October and so were able to use the huge and stunning Swimming Pool, the Jacuzzi, Pétanque pitch and the specially installed Croquet Lawn. In the evening, we took advantage of the cinema and games room, playing pool, table football, ping pong, chess and darts. A brilliant house for families with teens! There is even a huge TV, especially for use with games consoles. The house has a beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with every gadget you could require. Although we didn't use it, there is also a BBQ for evenings on the huge terrace. The property is situated on the banks of the River Tarn and is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and a large garden. It was a very quick and easy drive from the airport and local amenities for food shopping. The local village, a ten-minute walk away, was very quiet but does have a pleasant local restaurant and within a few minutes by car you can access larger towns. In less than 40 minutes we reached Toulouse centre and the beautiful town of Albi and I gather there are many other attractions within an hour from the property. Although we were briefly aware of a party at the neighbouring property, we found the location very peaceful, with lovely dark skies at night for star gazing. The Wi-Fi was extremely good and there is plenty of parking. All in all we would highly recommend this property, which is of the highest quality. Our thanks to the charming hosts.

This home is spacious and beautifully appointed with spectacular views that offer an ever-changing backdrop. We found the early mornings particularly beautiful and loved watching the amazing sunsets sitting by the pool or on the veranda. This stylish and well-equipped home from home was a truly wonderful place to stay and had everything we could wish for to have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We look forward to returning very soon.

Thank you for allowing us to holiday at Château Trieux, it didn't disappoint! What a truly wonderful house and holiday experience we had. After exploring for a few hours on arrival it really felt like home. The children loved the pool, sporting facilities and quad bikes. The floodlit tennis court made for some great fun away from the day time heat. Whilst we loved the space and beautifully appointed rooms. You have a real gem in Château Trieux and the nearby town of Bergerac and many villages and markets as promised didn't disappoint either, simply stunning!! Thank you again and will definitely book for next year.
We spent 2 weeks at Mas Saint-Cernin. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. John and Lesley provided excellent information before our arrival about the property, the local area and very clear travel directions. There was even a welcome basket of essentials for our breakfast on arrival. We had a fabulous time and hope to visit again.

We loved swimming in the river in Nyons and the massive markets. A lovely windy trip up to mount Ventoux with amazing views and cheering on the cyclists!. A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

We all had an amazing time in this beautiful villa. The location is really convenient and we walked to all the beaches and shops and restaurants. The swimming pool was lots of fun and the views are spectacular.
The property Mas des Rivailles is a super place in a great part of France. One of the best swimming pools we have experienced and the family used it all day every day during our stay. The house is really comfortable with lots of areas where the family could spread out to do some work or just have time on their own. Having three formal eating areas meant we could mix it up where we had lunch and dinner. There are great countryside views from all of the windows and the house is in a very peaceful and serene setting. I must commend Frederic, the local property manager. He was there to greet us when we arrived and lead us through the property and all of the bits and pieces and local knowledge which made the experience so great. He is very solution focussed and solved minor issues in a no nonsense, relaxed and timely fashion. Many thanks for all.
A beautiful home in a private location- a perfect base. For us, the best bits- The property is all yours. No near neighbours, nobody overlooking you, a private pool (enclosed which is great for young kids). There's loads of grass areas as well, plus a barn with table tennis/ darts etc. There are a lot of fruit trees at the property and we even enjoyed some of these whilst there, though it is possible these attract some extra wasps though this was not a real issue during our stay. The house is 20/25minutes from Bergerac airport, ideal! The location is remote so don't expect to walk in to the local town, and the town itself isn't full of things to see etc. For us, our favourite trips out are Limeuil, Le Bugue, Tremolat and Cadouin for picturesque towns with quaint shops and nice cafes! Amazing prompt communication, The owners couldn't do enough to help. Thanks so much.

Château Mézard really is as lovely as it is depicted on the website! It was a magical place for a holiday. The house and grounds were amazing, the set-up of the house provides great privacy even for a large group. Exploring the surrounding countryside, towns and cities provided the perfect French country get away. Returning to the amazing luxury of the château for a dinner on the terrace or a swim in the pool was the highlight of each day.
Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much.
We had a wonderful week’s stay at this amazing chateau. We were a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) and couldn’t have wished for a better week. The pool was very popular, and the garden was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Michelle has renovated and finished the whole building with attention to detail and the pictures, as impressive as they are, don’t really do it justice. Wish we could have stayed longer!
What a fantastic stay in a fantastic house, all the amenities you could wish for and more. We’ve enjoyed the pool, table tennis tournaments, playing pool and lounging under the fig trees. The market in Nyons on a Thursday was amazing, we visited St Paul trois châteaux, Seguret and many other places. The house exceeded our expectations and the Drome, Provence is beautiful , we will be back and thank you for creating such a haven for everyone to experience and enjoy.
You have transformed this building into the most wonderful house and more than that, into a welcoming and comfortable home, in which we feel privileged to have been guests. We lacked for nothing (except maybe a little more soleil and a little less vent). Everyone who came to stay with us expressed their appreciation in a similar vein. Thank you so much. Wonderful! We just loved our week at this fabulous home. We are a Canadian family of 8. 5 adults and 3 kids ( ages 13, 10 and 9). After eight days in Paris, this was the perfect place to chill. The setting is fabulous. We had a spectacular view of Grasse and the surroundings and we enjoyed many glorious sunsets. The patio area really was the winner. Spacious with lots of room for everyone. The house was very well equipped and the owners were very responsive to any little concerns or questions we had. Great pool. Kind hosts. Highly recommended.
We have had a wonderful time in your very beautiful house! 2 weeks have gone by much to fast and we are sad to be leaving. Although the weather was not very sunny the last few days we swam every day. The pool is great and we will miss it. We visited Minerve, Carcassonne, Béziers, Narbonne and Lagrasse. Croissants every morning from the van at 10am, delicious! Love the decor and everything in the house, vintage design and you have great style. Hope to be back someday soon.
