What a beautiful and large house; Nice combination of old and modern. Lots of space. Very nice games room and amazing pool with salt water. We had really great time.
We had a lovely stay at the property. Everything was as expected and more. The owners, Benedict and Pierre Balteau were very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to staying here again next time we visit the Languedoc, Occitanie and will certainly be recommending this property to our friends and family. I stayed in Château Bellevue with my family and some friends last Summer. It was magical, right from the moment we drove up the drive and I passed the swimming pool and saw the house, I couldn't wait to explore the château and its gardens. I stayed in one of the 'children's rooms' on the upper floor, which are beautiful rooms with lots of books to read. I spent my days playing with my friends in the grounds, we particularly liked laying in the shade under the old oak trees chatting and in the evening we loved playing one of the many of the board games. The beach, mountains and pretty little villages are close by and beautiful.
Had a great fortnight in Les Sphynx de Pézenas. Everything you want really. Recommend Chez Paul, Les Entre Pots and Ou es tu Ginger (veggie food) in the local area to eat. Marina Bay at Marseillan Plage - great food and lovely views. All in all a great location and house.
We had an excellent stay in March in this large, very well appointed and superbly equipped house to accommodate our group of 11 people. Beautiful amenities in the house, quality bedding and a paradise for children. With its large swimming pool, its two terraces and its numerous outdoor games, the area must be even more appreciated in the summer season. We highly recommend this rental, ideal for large families or groups of friends. We were able to discover an enchanting setting in the region. We enjoyed the calm and beauty of the surrounding countryside. Obviously, we couldn't resist the desire to taste the extraordinary local products (wines, gastronomy, etc.). An exceptional place in which we will return for a vacation.

Thank you for a delightful week in a truly charming cottage. Even if the weather was a wee bit shy about showing the sun the house more than made up for it with its character. The 2 restaurants in the village are excellent! (Remember a torch if you're coming after dinner!). Sarlat on a Wednesday (market day) well worth a visit. Saint-Léon is a pretty place with a big choice of "eateries". Lascaux IV is interesting and well presented.! Many thanks Caterina and Steve!
Fantastic holiday - very many thanks. We come to France a lot and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. The weather has been very kind to us all! Restaurant recommendations all very good - we tried as many as we could. Particularly good were La Maison at Tourbes and L'Entre Pots. We need to come back again and try the rest. Many thanks again.
A truly magical week in the most magical Château – in a magical setting. Absolutely wonderful week. Everything was perfect – thank you very much to all the staff who looked after it all. It felt like we had always known you (perhaps because we’re all Northerners!). The Italian restaurant in the village is great to be able to walk to. A few degrees below 38 would have been preferable, but out of your control! Good luck with the house.

Driving down the lane to Maison Bourriette, you know you are on holiday. The farmhouse, set in lovely grounds with views over the countryside, is charming, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. There are markets, hilltop villages and beautiful country walks on the doorstep to explore and then a wonderful warm pool to really unwind! Evenings relaxing by lamplight in the stunning courtyard with wine and friends - memories are made of this!
It is rare to find such beautiful decoration where high-quality antiques and contemporary art coexist. We appreciated the authenticity of the place, the preserved nature and the proximity to major tourist sites. Through their kindness and recommendations, the hosts greatly contributed to our pleasant stay. We highly recommend this recently opened accommodation, which is continually evolving.
We have just returned from our holiday at your property which we all thoroughly enjoyed. I wanted to write to give feedback on our stay as I understand we were the first guests at the property. It was was the exact property we were looking for, in a quiet rural setting with the farm next door and the property itself offered everything we needed. The pool area was particularly well configured, safe for children and practical. It was so relaxing and particularly for my brother who enjoyed three days with us during the break of his six month tour in Afghanistan. It was so perfect we are very tempted to book it again for next year. Please pass our thanks on to all the owners for arranging the child facilities and to Gary and Louise who kept the pool immaculately.
Very beautiful house in Périgord. The house is sublime. A perfect blend of rustic, tradition and modern comfort. Wonderfully restored. And 5 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms is rare. Huge fireplace, perfect for a week at Christmas. Very well equipped. And Florence greeted us with kindness and is very responsive to questions and requests.

There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family. The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. Our week at Maison des Communes has been the most perfect way to celebrate 3 very important birthdays. Two 60th and one 40th. We have enjoyed every moment and couldn't have wished for a better location, or host to make this stay as special as possible. As a group of six adults (three couples) it was great to each have our own space with the villa, but also lovely communal areas to have our meals and relax together. Everything about the villa has been ideal from the pool, bikes and comfortable bedroom to the spacious sprawling grounds. the icing on the cake has been Philippe. What a gracious host bringing fresh pastries, leaving welcome gifts and even arranging a beautiful meal at a local restaurant. Thanks so much. we will be back.
We had a wonderful holiday here. The pool was just right and we barbecued several nights without any hassle or problems (this from a true non- barbecue person!) I particularly liked being able to move round the house as the day wore on either keeping in the sun, or out of it as the notion took you. The little town within 5 minutes drive had excellent shops and a couple of very handy supermarkets, whilst a bit further afield there were excellent restaurants. All in all a place to savour and appreciate.
It is beautiful and absolutely perfect for our needs. We also loved the village and the restaurant. We have stayed in some lovely houses in France but yours is definitely the best. We will be in touch when we next head to France!
We had a fantastic holiday at the property and to be quite honest, didn't want to leave. Glum faced we are looking back on our holiday snaps wishing we weren't back in the gloomy English weather, but sitting out on the glorious verandah! Your hospitality was second-to-none and the whole holiday faultless.
Fabulous house on the edge of the village with magical views and absolute peace and privacy. We were thrilled to see so much wildlife, so many wonderful birds, butterflies, red squirrel and deer around the house. We flew into Limoges which is a tiny and very easy airport to manage. Car hire is just outside the exit, the roads are blissfully empty and the drive to Lusignac was a pleasure. We couldn't have had a better week.
The views from the outside dining area are amazing, from Mt Ventoux in the east to Les Dentelles in the West and looking down the hill to the medieval old town of Vaison. We love the walk to Villedieu with lunch in the village square. A short drive away to Gigondas and Les Dentelles opens up some great walks. Another favourites are the markets in Vaison and Bedoin, the later market was followed by a drive up Mt Ventoux. The house is finished to a high level and very comfortable and well equipped, we enjoyed our time here very much.
We have had the most fabulous time staying in the Loft du Vigneron this past week. We have booked through Pure France for four or five years and this place is by far the highest standard of accommodation that we have experienced. Every detail has been catered for. Everything that we needed for the week was at hand. We really enjoyed meeting you both and our kids thought that you were so nice and welcoming, and Kate really appreciated the lovely touch of the pool noodles! We wish you both health, happiness and best wishes for the future, and we really hope to revisit again in the future. Many thanks for everything - you are 'best in class' hosts.
The Piglet Barn, an amazing location. The hosts Annie and John were lovely and so welcoming , lemon drizzle cake, nibbles and wine, candles by the door. Would highly recommend for a very relaxing atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Thank you for a lovely week. Linda and Bernard x
Unique house in the heart of Provence! We are an anglo- french family with 3 children and enjoy coming to Le Paradou as much as we can! We spent two summers there and had kept an excellent memory of our stays: the house is beautifully decorated in a provencal style with personal touches from the owners ( music, painting, photography) and the swimming pool is very agreeable at any moment... The area is perfect for tourism ( this is probably the best spot in Provence!) and for those who love cooking (as myself) the markets and the products are just marvellous!
House was spotlessly clean as was all bedding. Absolutely first class. You have thought of everything that a family with young children could possibly need and want for. Catering very good - delicious. You were so helpful with all of our queries and went above and beyond to help.
In the middle of the vineyards in the countryside is this wonderful house, with a heated pool and a whirlpool. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to indulge in culinary delights. Within a very short time (25 minutes) you can reach the beaches of Vias and Valras. Large cities such as Béziers can be reached in 15 minutes. The hosts were very friendly and we really appreciated the communication to learn a little more about the area and the people. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stop by again soon.
