We spent a very pleasant week in Château Grandchamp de Chablis. The setting, the equipment, the swimming pool, everything is designed to make you feel good and for everyone! We thank the caretakers for their very friendly welcome. We strongly recommend this château, as well as visiting and tasting the neighbouring grape varieties.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and warm welcome. We have had a fantastic time and this has been the perfect place to unwind and relax.

This is a beautiful, fully modernised house in a lovely friendly village. A well designed spacious house over two floors with a large balcony from the modernised kitchen and lounge overlooking the pool and views of the surrounding areas The property is perfect for lazing by the pool and is Ideally placed for trips to many nearby beaches and to the cities of Narbonne, Béziers and Montpellier.
Such a lovely peaceful and quiet place in Gers. Thank you for a warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the pool, the beautiful views across the countryside. The house is very well equipped and we found some great restaurants and good supermarket shopping in Fleurance, Lectoure and slightly further afield. A great week!

We had a fabulous holiday, thank you ! What a lovely location; very peaceful but within easy access of a variety of places to visit - Nice, Saint Paul de Vence, Vence, Grasse and everything to offer along the French Riviera. The house is large and comfortable with space for families or groups of friends to spread out. There is ample outside space to enjoy - around the pool, behind the house to have shade and beside the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee. The view from the pool is stunning allowing one to see a huge distance along the coast - that will live long in our memory!
Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying at Villa Pey de la Salle celebrating our joint 50th birthdays with friends from around the world. The house is only three years old, beautifully designed and appointed and incredibly spacious and accommodating for big groups (we had 10 people). We were also delighted with the location, which was quiet and private being several kilometres outside the village of Fayence, but with access to Nice, Cannes and St Tropez less than an hour away. The owner Vincent and property manager Isa were very friendly and helpful and the Pure France administration was fast and efficient. We will certainly be recommending this service and property to our friends and look forward to visiting again in the future.
We had a wonderful holiday at La Maison Blanche. The location is stunning, a huge garden with a large pool - overlooking a field of sunflowers when we were there. We were two couples with two older children and the house is very spaceous and beautifully furnished. The location is very peaceful. Whilst that means that shops, local markets and restaurants are not within walking distance the house is very well equipped, both for cooking and barbequeing as well as entertainment with the pool, table tennis and games. We would like to thank you with all our warmth for letting us inhabit your wonderful house for a whole previous week. The grounds and the pool are wonderful and we have spent many happy hours wandering, picking blackberries', sunbathing, swimming, talking, reading ... the house worked its magic again!
Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!

Charming host. Beautiful location with magnificent views with vines and sunflowers. Perfect for running and walking. Good clean pool with covered area alongside so ideal for being in the shade. House very comfortable with all amenities including air con throughout.
Great vacation spent in Le Mas de Combet! Quiet house in the countryside with a superb pool. We were able to enjoy all the amenities on site. Thank you to our host for their excellent welcome and availability throughout the stay. We really recommend this property for a week with friends.
Wonderful family holiday We had a wonderful week staying at Manoir de Saux, spent mostly by or in the beautiful pool or on the tennis court! Occasionally we would tear ourselves away from this idyll to wander through pretty fortified towns, to have a delicious local lunch and to taste wine. We all particularly liked Cahors. The house itself was very comfortable, had everything we needed and the kids couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended!
We have enjoyed our second stay at La Maison Tournesol. Thank you to Richard and Meryl for their continued wonderful hospitality. Driving up to the house after an 8.5 hour trip felt like coming home. The welcome pack was most appreciated. The lovely chocolate cake was preferred by the little girls for tea (chosen even over crisps!). An excellent trip was had to the Musee de Foie Gras again - worth it for the samples alone. Go-Karting in Caudecoste was great with the little girls being able to share karts and their dads. Lunch in Rocequor at the Cafe du Centre was a culinary highlight even if the town shop with its British corner was closed. The pool was wonderful and a respite from the heat, although the weather was much more temperate than last year. Thank you Richard and Meryl for once again being the consummate hosts, from sharing your knowledge of the area to your welcome to us all, especially Jess. Your gîte is one of a kind and you should be proud of the wonderful space you have created! Last but not least, POPPY! We would take her home if we could and you would let us! Thank you again and we hope to see you next year.
New to the market in September 2024. Pure France visited end of August 2024. This is a remarkably charming, fully renovated country home on a fabulous 17th century Provençal estate set in very secluded countryside. The surrounding area is dotted with many upmarket wine domaines. Renovated to a very high standard in contemporary style with 4 ensuite bedrooms. Large, private garden and lovely 10 x 4m heated pool with table tennis and boules court. Local town of Grignan is a real draw with its imposing hilltop church and all amenities and cultural events. Highly recommended for its high quality and secluded countryside setting.
We had the best week here in this beautiful house, such a perfect location, the house had everything we needed. We didn't have a car but everything was in walking distance. We spent every evening having drinks at 'Le Pub' in the centre of town, very nice cocktails. Restaurant Chez le Gaulois served the best cheese and meats platter, couldn't recommend them more. WE LOVE IT HERE and will definitely be back next year. Thank you Jackie and Geoff for this beautiful stay.

Lovely relaxing holiday. Fab pool! Enjoyed the breeze, so not too hot. Well equipped kitchen super upstairs living room! Enjoyed.
This is our 7th visit to the Dordogne and at least the 6th rental at "Cordelliers" Thank you Jackie and Geoff for buying this property and continuing to allow lucky people like us to stay here. We always love a long lunch at Le Vieux hogus in Tremolat, lovely drive. We stopped at himeuil on the confluence of the Vezere Dordogne rivers to see another lovely village with a stony beach. Book a table under the plane trees in the garden, easy to book as all the reception staff speak English. This trip we visited the gardens of Eyrignac which we saw 20 years ago-much changed and lovely but Marqueyssac are still our favourite gardens with its cliff top views to Castlenaud, Beynac, Faynac Chateaux and the town of Roque Gageac. Don't miss Lascaux IV, book online - this time we did it last minute and got in at 3.30pm English tour, great for all ages, especially the children as they get their own laptop! Buy your foie gras and confit of duck at the E Le Clerc supermarket - much cheaper and great quality, rather than paying extortionate prices in Sarlat. A lovely drive if you are interested in Bastide towns is to start in Belves, worth a quick look for its 11th century centre and 15th C covered market. Then onto Monpazier, Byron, Chateau Byron and finally Monflanquin, a great place for lunch (park at the top of the hill next to Elise St Andrew) Of course Rocamadour and Padirac caves are another must and if you feel like a big day out add Colognes La Rouge to the itinerary. When visiting Rocamadour, enter from the top, drive past all the parking costing 5euro or so and head to the well signposted "Le Chateau" parking which has 500 places and is free. Take the lift "Ascenseur" down into the town, buy the more expensive ticket to go all the way to the bottom of Rocomandour town, see the Sanctuaries, churches, walk up into town. Afterwards take the lift back up to the car and walk to the Ramparts. MARKET DAYS: Monday: Beynac, Les Ezyies (small one on the river) Tuesday: Le Bug - highly recommend Wednesday: Sarlat and Saint-Cyprien Thursday: Domme and Monpazier Friday: La Roque-Gageac Saturday: Sarlat Sunday: Carnac, H'muel and Saint-Cyprien (highly recommended) On Wednesday evenings from late June to mid August Belves has a night food stall market which id fun, bring your own cutlery, glasses and nice plates if you don't want to eat off paper. Wine shop - an excellent wine shop, no more expensive than the supermarkets with great advice from English speakers is in Les Eyries - Vin Blanc Rouge, 3 Ave de la Prehistoire.

Peaceful location with beautiful views. The building has been really thoughtfully renovated. The open nature of the outdoor area meant you could always choose to be in/out of sun, always a breeze. A fab place for a family holiday. Great for cycling, locals super friendly. Delicious food and wine. We will definitely be back! We recommend the closest town, Monségur, the most for food, drinks and ambience. The local wine co-operative were also very friendly with great recommendations. We also recommend La Salle a Manger for food or just for a drink.
