Rabassie is heaven close by to Limoux at which there is a plethora of things to do; Swimming and tennis, running and boules, and the wicket takes spin if you follow the rules! A holiday so special, it was planned years ago, and we dreamed of the sunshine during last winter's snow. But the reality's far better than anyone thought, it's a place in a million and we wanted for naught. Grandparents, parents and five grandchildren too, we laughed and we played all the day through; but when we were thirsty the beers were imposters lacking the 'nectar of wonderful Fosters'! The house wants for nothing, its completely equipped, the mind boggles as to how it could all have been shipped. The kitchen has everything, including a spurtle, and the only sound heard is the meowing of Myrtle! Despite sporting distractions for all of us folks we were glued to the tele watching Ben Stokes. It is lucky our neighbours were only wild boar 'cos his winning four caused a deafening roar! But all of this fun could not have happened each day had it not been for Natalie and Mike and their way; No problem too great, no trouble too small, with charm and great knowledge they dealt with it all. Merci, merci, merci!
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely villa. The elegant surroundings of Baleyssagues helped made our holiday here in Duras very relaxing. The hillside settings was the perfect back for to stunning sunsets, sunrises and shooting stars. It was a shame to leave...
Weekend with friends. We had a pleasant stay. David and Kirstie's house is beautiful. The environment is very calm and relaxing. The house is very large, the rooms are spacious, the bedding comfortable. Each room is equipped with a bathroom. David and Kirstie are very attentive and available hosts. I recommend.
This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! I would like to thank you for the lovely week we spent at Château du Pic de Rigaud. Henrietta was charming and extremely helpful. The house was beautiful and not too formal. The views were amazing both from the house and the pool. We left feeling uplifted.
So many memories. We were so lucky with the weather, so were able to take full advantage of the pool. The turret allowed for stargazing to a degree that we don't get at home. So many memories of laughter, drinking and family time. Thank you.

It was a real privilege to stay at Château Monjardin - it's a fantastic property full of character and it really felt like a home to us. The guardian is great and made us feel very welcome.
Fantastic stay in a wonderful house. Wonderful house for 7 people. The rooms were very spacious, as was the outside space. Excellent for families I would say. Very warm welcome by the host and pool was attended to throughout. Nice touch of having towels and bed linen changed during the stay for no extra charge (a first). Many thanks to Victoire and Gaby.

Great place!! We really enjoyed our week here. Pool, excitement of the stay, the tortoise and the location. We think that the tortoise should be named Trevor. :) We loved Bordeaux. Some great restaurants in Libourne: MA Restaurant and Bistro Maritime. Very enjoyable wine cellar tour and tasting at Château de la Rivière just up the road. Recommend Grotte Pair-non-Pair near Bourg. Thank you from us all !
Everything was amazing at La Bastide 1718. We had to travel to the area for work, which was made especially difficult during the pandemic and lockdown. However, the villa and host, Thomas, made our trip as enjoyable as it could be within the circumstances. Thomas the host was always on hand for anything! Very professional, kind and thoughtful. Honestly one of the best hosts I have ever had! The villa is incredible. Each bedroom is up to a hotel standard; from the bedding, aircon and heating, TVs, bathrooms and styling. The kitchen and facilities are very well maintained and equipped, with anything you could possibly need! We spent every evening in the dining and living room with the fire burning, which was a great setting for the team to relax. There are so many facilities and things to do in the Villa, you would never get bored during your stay! The location is stunning and well worth the long driveway to get such seclusion and stunning views. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the villa which I don't want to give away. Each of them made our stay even more relaxing and memorable. Thank you again to Thomas and the team behind La Bastide!

Your house is beautiful. So peaceful and delightfully decorated. We had a fab holiday exploring the area. The pool was glorious and the gardens, too. The morning view and sounds from the open window will never be forgotten.
We were thrilled with our stay. Debbie was available and very attentive to our needs. She was very efficient and discreet at the same time. We enjoyed the beauty and silence of the place as well as the very large space with the pool at our disposal. Debbie really made us feel at home. We would like to thank her again for her kindness and the pleasant stay she allowed us to have with our children and grandchildren!

The views are phenomenal We have had the most wonderful week here and are very sad to be leaving! The views are phenomenal, it’s such a special place. The mist in the morning with the hot air balloons popping through is magic! We really appreciated all the was provided – the food and wine to make us feel so welcome. We hope to return!
Impossible to overestimate how very kind and helpful are the two hosts, Caterina and Steve, Cottage Du Jardin is peaceful and very comfortable. It’s wonderful to have a comfortable sofa in the gite as we know from experience. Everything you need is there: washing machine, dishwasher, washing line, fridge, freezer, UK TV channels et cetera. The TV takes DvdS. The long pool is set among beautiful plants in the garden. You can do 20 back strokes, it’s so long, the sun loungers are comfortable. Shady table for cool lunches. Intermarche just up the road. The best thing is that the local casino little shop has daily bread and there are two restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended by two France veterans. Visit Lascaux 11- one English tour a week. You’ll remember it for life. And visit Le Bugue market on Tuesdays - Bruno’s town in the Martin Walker Books. Lots and lots of fiction in the cottage; save on your packing weight.
A delightful location for a holiday, particularly for a family. Debbie and Rupert are very welcoming and while being entirely unobstrusive, are only too willing to give practical help and suggestions if required. The accommodation is spacious with interesting architecture, comfortable good quality furnishing and a well equipped kitchen. The grounds are attractive and varied, with a pretty courtyard and different areas for relaxing or eating out. The pool is beautifully kept and a good size. Everything about the property is well maintained and cared for - it is a lovely place to stay.
I just wanted to say thank you – we had a wonderful time staying a le Mas de Pitou – it was by far the most perfect place we have stayed in France in over 10 years! The location and setting were ideal, we had some lovely walks straight from the door and the special touch of your fantastic welcome basket of fruit and vegetables was gorgeous! We will be back and will certainly recommend to friends. Carole also was great – friendly, informative and helpful.
La Cigaliere is a very spacious, calm, well appointed and comfortable holiday accommodation for up to 8 people in the lovely Languedoc. We have enjoyed many lovely evening meals around the family table a L’exterieur following a late afternoon dip in the large, safe and welcoming swimming pool. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and well appointed and the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. Our cars were safe in the large and self contained garage and games and cinema style watching were enjoyed in the large family den. If you enjoy family time in high quality accommodation within the historic Languedoc with wine tasting on your doorstep, then La Cigaliere will suit you very well. Very good welcome. Cleanliness of the house, space, functionality, pool safety, baby equipment, everything was there. The surrounding setting of course is wonderful. Quality restaurants close by. Family stay that we were able to fully enjoy. Recommended, to be repeated.
